Praying in the School Year
Dear Friends,
August has always been an exciting month as we prepared to go back to school. Newness filled the air with great anticipation: new teachers, classmates, school supplies, and maybe even something new to wear on the first day of school. As a teacher for 10 years I was excited to have new students, lesson plans, classroom supplies, volunteers, decorations and more. For 17 years I wrote weekly devotionals for educators to meet and pray each week for their schools and for one another. Yes, schools and education are near and dear to my heart, which is why I am asking you to take time to pray for schools.
Students and teachers have been apart for many months and decisions on whether to meet virtually, in-person, or both, differs from district to district and is changing every day. Our superintendents, school boards, principals and other decision-makers need our prayers! They are seeking all the information they can get to make the best decisions for their students, teachers and staff in regard to education and health. There are so many needs that must be met, and it seems that all decisions come at a great cost. I know that many of these decision-makers are praying and would deeply appreciate your prayers as they prepare and begin this new academic year. Please pray for the teachers, students, and parents to continue to work together. As we continue in our 52 days of prayer in our "Nehemiah Response," please consider posting at least one prayer for our schools.
Throughout the Bible we hear God tell His people to remember all that He has taught and all the wonders He has done. As we remember these words and works, we are to tell them to others, especially the next generation so that they will know and worship God all of their years. There has certainly been plenty of time at home for parents to pray and read the Bible with their family over the past several months.
If you have not started this special time with your family, we encourage you to begin now and make it a part of your new school year routine. Take time to pray together for their classmates, teachers, coaches and more. This is also a great way for children to open up about their day at school. The greatest thing we can teach our children is how to know and follow Jesus through His Word and prayer. This year may begin with a few fears and tears but let it be FILLED with prayer.
"My people, hear my teaching; listen to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth with a parable; I will utter hidden things, things from of old- things we have heard and known, things our ancestors have told us. We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done." (Psalm 78:1-4 NIV)

Lord Jesus, we come to You now to lift up all of our schools to You; public, private, home and Christian schools across America. Please give them wisdom in their decisions on where to teach as well as what to teach. We ask that You guide and guard the hearts, minds, eyes, and ears of our students as they open their books and hear the lessons in their classroom from pre-K through college. Let them be filled with Truth and light. Give then Christian friends to encourage their walk with You and let them be bold to share Your Word and love with others on their campus as they live out life in You and for You.

1. In largest protest yet, over 10,000 rally against Netanyahu in Jerusalem - Times of Israel
Thousands of Israelis protested against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu outside his official residence in Jerusalem on Saturday evening, in the biggest rally to be held in the capital since the recent start of anti-government protests.
Over 10,000 people attended the anti-corruption demonstration at the Prime Minister's Residence, according to Hebrew media estimates.
Unlike past protesters there, demonstrators were granted permission to march through the city center along a route that would lead them back to the original protest site.
2. Miki Zohar: Likud and Blue & White headed for divorce - Israel National News
Coalition chairman MK Miki Zohar was asked by Kan News Monday regarding tensions between the Likud and Blue and White parties, and predicted the coalition's collapse in the near future.
"There is a chasm between [the Likud] and Blue and White on numerous issues on an ideological level. It's like a couple looking to divorce, and realizing that it's just a matter of time before they sign the paperwork," he said.
Zohar went on to describe the state of the current coalition: "Every decision we make has a price. Since there is currently no stability, this deterioration can only continue. The more time passes, the more we fail to function."
"Today, we reached the lowest point since the formation of the government. We are at a critical junction where we need to decide where we are headed. If Ganz and Netanyahu decide to break up the government, we should try to form an alternative government or head for new elections" Zohar added.
3. 'Blue and White is pushing the Likud around time and time again' - Israel National News
Developments on the Supreme Court override clause: Representatives of the Shas and United Torah Judaism parties decided today (Sunday) not to support the "Override Law" expected to be brought for a vote this week by MK Ayelet Shaked.
MK Matan Kahana (Yamina) spoke with Ben Caspit and former MK Aryeh Eldad on Radio 103FM and expressed his opinion on the matter: "We have repeatedly stated that we want to return the separation of powers to its natural place. Blue and White MKs are crushing the Likud time after time with their relatively few Knesset seats, trampling the haredim along the way."
Kahana continued to criticize the Blue and White party with regards to the bill: "They ignore coalition guidelines whenever they feel like it and the Likud can't do anything about it. What's happening here is just a disgrace to see."
4. Edelstein: Coronavirus Situation Improving But Numbers Still 'Worrying' - Jewish Press
Health Minister Yuli Edelstein told reporters Sunday that Israel has finally managed to stop the rise in the morbidity rate of the coronavirus in the country.
Speaking with media in a news conference together with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Corona Project leader Professor Roni Gamzu after a tour of the Coronavirus Control Center at Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hshomer, Edelstein said things are good, but not quite good enough - there is still much left to be done.
"We have proven that when there is good team work and help from many others, you can see the achievements in the field. This is good," he said, "but it's not enough. The numbers are still worrying. We need to continue to work together."
5. Israel's first non-Bedouin Muslim IDF officer faces backlash from Arab community - World Israel News
Hisham Abu Ria, the first Muslim officer in the IDF from a non-Bedouin background, feels like he has a foot in two worlds. Born and raised in the northern Israeli Arab town of Sakhnin, he made the unprecedented decision to volunteer for the IDF.
In an interview with Israel's Kan News, he spoke about the backlash he's faced from the Arab community because of his military service.
Abu Ria decided to join the IDF after spending time with Jewish classmates while studying at Ben Gurion University.
"It's hard for me to feel differently," he said. He felt there was a major gap between himself and his Jewish classmates that would prevent him from fully integrating in Israeli society.
6. Israel's unique methods against the Iranian threat- Jerusalem Post
For the better part of the 21st century, Israel has been trying to circumvent Iran's regional ambitions in the Middle East to become a nuclear state and spread its military power to neighboring countries. By exploiting the disarray in Syria, Iran routinely sends convoys through Syria to arm its Lebanese proxy, Hezbollah, with precision-guided munitions (PGMs) and other equipment.
Israel has reacted by launching a political and military campaign. Usually it was the political effort that was very public while the intelligence and military activities occurred behind the scenes, however, in the past week or so we have seen a number of mysterious explosions in Iran. It is hard not to see Israeli (and American) fingerprints all over these incidents.
Israel's intelligence is known to execute audacious missions around the world using creative methods. Look no further than breaking into and smuggling out the secret Iranian nuclear archives in 2019.

The Daily Brief
1. Isaias to track along I-95 northeastern US corridor with flooding, damaging wind - Accuweather.com
Forecasters expect Isaias, as a tropical storm, to track inland over the mid-Atlantic and New England region with the potential for flooding rainfall, damaging winds and minor coastal flooding prior to the middle of this week.
Even though Isaias lost some of its intensity while passing between Florida and the Bahamas this weekend, it is still a potentially dangerous and damaging tropical system and is expected to send copious amounts of moisture northward and will pack enough wind to cause problems 800 to 1,500 miles farther north.
The center of Isaias, may pass rather close to New York City, which would be the second storm of the season to do so following Tropical Storm Fay from early July.
"The last time there have been two named tropical systems pass so close in the same season was in 1985 when Gloria and Henri passed over Long Island, New York," according to AccuWeather Meteorologist Brandon Buckingham.(Read more)

2. Trump doubles down, warns November will bring 'greatest election disaster in history' - Fox News
President Trump doubled down Friday on his warnings surrounding expanded mail-in ballots, declaring November will bring the "greatest election disaster in history" a day after he controversially suggested delaying the vote. "They think they're going to send hundreds of millions of ballots all over the United States and it's gonna come out," he told reporters at the White House following a meeting with members from the National Association of Police Organizations. "You won't know the election result for week months, maybe years after. Maybe you'll never know the election result. That's what I'm concerned with - it'll be fixed. It'll be rigged. People oughta get smart." He suggested people vote in person or submit absentee ballots.
"This is going to be the greatest election disaster in history," he continued on Friday. "And by the way, you guys like to talk to about Russia and China and other places? They'll be able to forge ballots, they'll forge them. They'll do whatever they have to do."
On Friday, he insisted he wants the election to take place, and even said, "I wish we'd move it up, okay?" He said officials are working to fix the issue, but said the government was "not prepared for an onslaught of millions of ballots pouring in. . .
Absentee ballots, great. Going to the polls, great," he added. "If you do universal mail-ins with millions and millions of ballots, you're never gonna know what the real result of an election is. It's gonna be a very, very sad day for our country."
Trump cannot change the election date without the approval of Congress, and policymakers in both parties have largely made clear they would oppose such a move. (Read more)

3. Trump moves to hold social media companies liable if they 'alter or editorialize users' speech' - Fox News
The White House on Wednesday said the Trump administration is moving forward to implement a recent presidential executive order on social media, ahead of testimony from top tech company executives on Capitol Hill.
The Commerce Department this week filed a petition to clarify that social media companies can be held liable if they "alter or editorialize users' speech," according to the White House. The petition also requested that the Federal Communications Commission clarify online platforms' curation methods. "President Trump will continue to fight back against unfair, un-American, and politically biased censorship of Americans online," said White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany.
The announcement came hours before top tech company executives were slated to testify on Capitol Hill. It also came after Twitter, Facebook and YouTube removed a viral video earlier this week of a doctor touting hydroxychloroquine as a cure for the coronavirus and saying masks aren't necessary. 4. Largest FL Police Union Votes Unanimously To Endorse Trump: Tired of Being a Punching Bag for the Left - Western Journal
In the swing state of Florida, the state's largest police union is throwing its heft behind President Donald Trump in a very big way.
In an interview Friday on Fox News, Florida Police Benevolent Association President John Kazanjian said his organization decided in a "unanimous" vote to endorse the president, something he said "carried a lot of weight."
"We're 30,000 strong. We go from the panhandle to Daytona, to Tampa down to Miami and the Keys," Kazanjian said.
While the association hadn't made a presidential endorsement in eight years, Kazanjian said recent events pushed him to act. He recounted that he called an "emergency meeting via conference phone" about the issue last week. (Read more)

5. CDC Director: Threat of Suicides, Drug Overdoses 'Far Greater' Than COVID Concerns - Faithwire.com
Dr. Robert Redfield, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is promoting the reopening of schools across the country, noting the serious risks associated with keeping kids out of classrooms. During a webinar for the Buck Institute, Redfield pointed out the low risk of children spreading COVID-19 and said the spike in suicides and drug overdoses is "far greater" than the number of coronavirus-related deaths among the country's younger population. "It's not risk of school openings versus public health," he said. "It's public health versus public health." Redfield added, "I'm of the point of view, and I weigh that equation as an individual that has 11 grandchildren, that the greater risk is actually to the nation to keep these schools closed."
Data collected by the CDC backs up Redfield's suggestion there is not a lot of concern children could spread COVID-19. And, according to the agency, the risk of complications for otherwise healthy children is actually "higher for flu compared to COVID-19." Infants and kids with underlying conditions, though, "are at increased risk for both flu and COVID-19."
The CDC director made his case by acknowledging the fact that more than 7 million children in the U.S. receive mental health services from their schools. Thousands of kids also get food and nutrition from the academic system. Redfield is, additionally, concerned about the absence "of mandatory reporting [of] sexual and child abuse" while kids are not in classrooms. "Obviously, the socialization is important," the medical expert said. "And, obviously, for some kids, I think actually a majority of kids, their learning in a face-to-face school is the most effective method of teaching."
He then shifted to acknowledging the major mental health trade-offs that have come from the lingering lockdowns due to the coronavirus pandemic. "There has been another cost that we've seen, particularly in high schools," Redfield explained. "We're seeing, sadly, far greater suicides now than we are deaths from COVID. We're seeing far greater deaths from drug overdose that are above excess that we had as a background than we are seeing the deaths from COVID."
"This is why I keep coming back for the overall social being of individuals," he continued. "Let's all work together and find out how we can find common ground to get these schools open in a way that people are comfortable and they're safe. And if there is a need for investment and resources, just like there is a need for some of the underprivileged children that are probably better served if they have certain comorbidities, to do homeschooling, they need the access to be able to have the computer and the internet to do that." 6. Ohio Pharmacy Board Rescinds Hydroxychloroquine Ban a Day After Issuing It - WND
One day after the Ohio Board of Pharmacy acted to ban the use of the drug hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19, the board reversed its decision. The anti-malarial drug has shown promise as a treatment for individuals infected with the coronavirus, although the jury is still out on its overall effectiveness. Its use has been supported by President Donald Trump, which has led to extensive media pushback criticizing the virus.
The action to allow the drug to be prescribed came as the Ohio Department of Health reported the state had more than 1,100 people hospitalized who have been diagnosed with COVID-19, according to Fox News. The 1,122 people reported hospitalized on Tuesday topped a previous state high of 1,103 in April.
A terse note on the board's website said that as "a result of the feedback received by the medical and patient community and at the request of Governor DeWine, the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy has withdrawn proposed rule 4729:5-5-21 of the Administrative Code. Therefore, prohibitions on the prescribing of chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine in Ohio for the treatment of COVID-19 will not take effect at this time." (Read more)

We pray You will open the gates for this drug to be produced in mass quantity and as a result those with the virus will be healed completely, By God's grace break all restrictions put on this drug and it be available to all. 7. Encryption bill pushed by attorney general proposed in House - Washington Times
Encryption legislation being considered in the Senate spawned a companion bill proposed Thursday by Rep. Ann Wagner, Missouri Republican, quickly backed by the nation's top federal law enforcement official. Attorney General William P. Barr applauded Ms. Wagner for offering the House bill, the Lawful Access to Encrypted Data Act, and said he believed it is needed to keep criminals from evading authorities.
The proposal has previously received firm pushback from cybersecurity experts and Silicon Valley, however, who argue it would effectively require companies to build so-called "back doors" into their products.
Proponents of the proposal reason that encryption allows criminals to operate undetected online by making it difficult to impossible for authorities to intercept and decipher their digital communications. "Bad actors, especially child predators and human traffickers, have taken full advantage of warrant-proof encryption and other technological advances to hide their criminal activities from law enforcement at the expense of innocent victims," Ms. Wagner said. "My legislation would require tech companies to help law enforcement access requested data in response to a lawful warrant, incentivize innovation to build environments where lawful access and maximum privacy can coexist and train law enforcement on how to access digital evidence," she said in a statement.
A number of popular online platforms use end-to-end encryption to secure user data, which by design makes it so that messages exchanged among users can only be deciphered by the intended sender or recipient.

We pray that the Your power will prevent these criminals from evading the authorities. Protect the innocent victims of these cyber threats, O Lord, and let justice prevail in this critical matter. 8. House votes to reverse Pentagon ban on transgender troops - Washington Times
The House on Friday approved legislation to reverse President Trump's ban on transgender troops serving in the military as part of a massive $1.3 trillion spending package. Lawmakers the day prior quietly adopted an amendment to the defense bill offered by Rep. Jackie Speier, California Democrat, to prohibit military funds from being spent on implementing the controversial policy.
The ban, which went into effect April 2019, requires U.S. service members who are diagnosed with gender dysphoria to serve under their biological sex, reversing an Obama-era rule that allowed transgender people to serve openly according to their preferred gender expression.
The current policy allows U.S. service members who were already serving openly to continue doing so, but prohibits new applicants with a history or diagnosis of gender dysphoria "unless stable for 36 months and willing and able to serve" according to their biological sex.
While no Republicans openly supported the amendment, a roll call vote putting individual representatives on the record was not requested on the matter, marking the latest rebuke at the Trump administration's ban. (Read more)

9. Bill Clinton visited Jeffrey Epstein's private island, unsealed court documents suggest - Fox News
A trove of documents released late Thursday could shed light on Ghislaine Maxwell's relationship with late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The data include records of a 2011 meeting between accuser Virginia Giuffre and her lawyers where she talked about the powerful people in Epstein's orbit who she said either flew on his private Boeing 727 or stayed on his private island in the Caribbean. One of the names mentioned was that of former President Bill Clinton.
At one point in the conversation, the subject turned to Epstein's powerful friends. Jack Scarola, one of Giuffre's lawyers, asked her if she had any recollection of Epstein telling her that Bill Clinton owed him "favors." "Yes I do," she responded, according to the documents. "It was a laugh, though. He would laugh it off. You know, I remember asking Jeffrey [a] 'What's Bill Clinton doing here?' kind of thing, and he laughed it off and said, 'Well, he owes me a favor.' He never told me what favors they were. I never knew. I didn't know if he was serious. It was just a joke."
The lawyer asked her to clarify what she was referring to when she mentioned Clinton, and she said the former president was on the island. She said Maxwell was also there, as well as a person named "Emmy" and two young girls. (Read more)

10. Break the Ice: Trump ramping up US presence in the Arctic as Russia, China threats loom - Fox News
President Trump, in a recent memo, asked executive departments to report back by early August on how they can develop a U.S. "fleet" of icebreaking ships to navigate the frozen Arctic and Antarctic -- marking yet another step in the administration's efforts to strengthen U.S. influence in the region as it faces challenges from Russia and China.
Specifically, the Trump memo ordered the State Department, Defense Department, Commerce Department and Office of Management and Budget to review how the U.S. could acquire "at least three heavy polar-class security cutters," better known as icebreakers.
The U.S. currently lags behind Russia in the icebreakers department, and sees this deficit as a problem. Energy resources, security concerns and more are driving the push to catch up.
The memo, which also considered using smaller icebreakers to support national security priorities like "unmanned aviation" and "space systems," even flicked at the possibility of a more militarized presence: "This assessment shall also evaluate defensive armament adequate to defend against threats by near-peer competitors and the potential for nuclear-powered propulsion." 11. EU sanctions Russian intelligence, North Korean, Chinese firms over alleged cyberattacks - Reuters
The European Union on Thursday imposed travel and financial sanctions on a department of Russia's military intelligence service and on firms from North Korea and China over their suspected participation in major cyberattacks across the world. In its first ever sanctions related to cybercrime, the EU targeted the department for special technologies of the Russian military intelligence service, known as Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, it said in a statement.
The bloc accused the Russian service of having carried out two cyberattacks in June 2017, which hit several companies in Europe resulting in large financial losses. The service is also accused of two cyberattacks against Ukraine's power grid in 2015 and 2016. Four individuals working for the Russian military intelligence service were also sanctioned for allegedly participating in an attempted cyberattack against the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in the Netherlands in April 2018.
North Korean company Chosun Expo was also sanctioned on suspicion of having supported the Lazarus Group, which is deemed responsible for a series of major attacks worldwide, including an $81 million heist against Bangladesh Bank's account at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in 2016, the world's biggest cyber fraud. The company is also allegedly linked to an attack against Hollywood film studio Sony Pictures to prevent the release of a satirical movie about North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in 2014. (Read more)

12. Pompeo expands scope of sanctions against Iran - Israel National News
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Thursday announced he is expanding the scope of the Iran metals sanctions targeting the Islamic Republic's nuclear, military, and ballistic missile programs.
"Iran's nuclear, ballistic missile, and military programs pose a grave threat to international peace and security. To address these threats, I am announcing a major expansion of the scope of State Department-administered Iran metals-related sanctions. Today, the State Department is identifying 22 specific materials used in connection with Iran's nuclear, military, or ballistic missile programs. Those who knowingly transfer such materials to Iran are now sanctionable pursuant to Section 1245 of the Iranian Freedom and Counter-Proliferation Act," Pompeo said in a statement.
"Under the same provision of law, I am continuing my determination that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) controls Iran's construction sector. The IRGC's construction firm and many of its subsidiaries remain sanctioned by the United Nations because they were directly involved in the construction of the uranium enrichment site at Fordow," he continued.
"As a result of this IRGC determination, any knowing transfer of certain materials, including graphite or raw or semi-finished metals, to or from Iran to be used in connection with the construction sector of Iran remains sanctionable," the statement concluded. (Read more)

Turning against you
Since before the end of the 2016 Presidential election, deep state allies of the globalist agenda, the Democratic Party, and the collective news media have been trying to undermine a duly-elected President and remove him from office. They have tried false dossiers, lying about his ties to Russia, lying about a quid pro quo with Ukraine, employing racial and bigotry tactics, obstructing the workings of government, and impeachment. None of it worked. So now these sinister forces, accusing others of what they themselves, are doing, have turned on the American citizen. They have turned on YOU. YOU are now the problem and YOU will suffer the consequences and "the beatings will not stop till morale improves."
Democrats, Democrat-controlled states and cities, some Republicans, the media, the deep state, high tech, leftists in the federal government, big pharma are for various reasons against YOU. Until YOU succumb to getting rid of this President, they will take away your rights, your jobs, your freedom, and make your life miserable and a fraction of what it once was. YOU are the enemy. Bringing down America as a free market, religiously free, free speaking nation and replacing it with a communist utopia is the goal. They will use any group, no matter how well intended or ill intended, to advance their cause. They believe they now have the upper hand to do so. YOU are what stands in their way of having their way. Please understand. And once they take away these rights, mark my words, they will do all they can to keep them.
Sending COVID 19 positives to nursing homes where high risk people die from being infected; Censor or ban hydroxychloroquine, an effective way to combat COVID 19, because we are waiting on an unproven vaccine to be produced; Antifa and Black Lives Matter organization protesters burning Bibles and the American flag in Portland in the name of anti-fascism, but isn't that what the Nazi fascists did in World War II Germany; The government using big tech-Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc.-to censor dissenting opinions on COVID; Mainstream media censoring dissent against the leftist movement, and only promoting the leftist view and ridiculing or labeling dissent as hate speech, bigotry, racism, etc.; Shutting down church meetings in the name of public health and safety-AND the Supreme Court upholding them;
These are just part of a short list. When you look at this from a high level, you can see the strategy in play. And it comes down to you. And these powers collectively believe that you can do nothing about it. Now, what to do? When everyone is against you, who is for you? Romans 8:38-39 says, "Neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor thing to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Deuteronomy 31:8 says, "And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed." YOU are under attack by the enemies of God. Pray for our leaders to have righteous wisdom. Pray for direction. Pray for the action you should take. Then take it.

SpaceX capsule with 2 NASA astronauts make first splashdown in 45 years
CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida (AP) - Two NASA astronauts returned to Earth on Sunday in a dramatic, retro-style splashdown, their capsule parachuting into the Gulf of Mexico to close out an unprecedented test flight by Elon Musk's SpaceX company.
It was the first splashdown by US astronauts in 45 years, with the first commercially built and operated spacecraft to carry people to and from orbit. The return clears the way for another SpaceX crew launch as early as next month and possible tourist flights next year.
Test pilots Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken rode the SpaceX Dragon capsule back to Earth less than a day after departing the International Space Station and two months after blasting off from Florida. The capsule parachuted into the calm gulf waters about 40 miles off the coast of Pensacola, hundreds of miles from Tropical Storm Isaias pounding Florida's Atlantic coast.
"Welcome back to planet Earth and thanks for flying SpaceX," said Mission Control from SpaceX headquarters.
"It was truly our honor and privilege," replied Hurley.
More than an hour after splashdown, the astronauts emerged from their capsule on the deck of a recovery ship, both signaling a thumbs-up as they headed for medical exams.

Christian filmmakers launch first-ever fan-owned faith-based movie studio:
Called Higher Studios
Called Higher Studios is making its debut amid the global coronavirus pandemic as the first film studio to give Christian fans a hand in making faith and family movies that will spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Launched in Franklin, Tennessee, by movie executives Jason Brown and Ash Greyson, the studio wishes to "revolutionize" Christian movie-making by becoming the first fan-owned faith-based movie studio. The co-founders wish to honor God and serve others while making their content.
"Our goal is to give a voice to creators through a lens of faith. We are not just a studio or production company; we are a production community," Greyson told The Christian Post on Wednesday.
Brown commented, "I can't think of a better time to start a studio to share the Gospel through media. If you look at the news for more than a few minutes, I believe it's easy to see that we need some hope and the light of the world."
In April, Brown and Greyson and the Called Higher Studios team managed to raise $1 million from over 3,700 investors to fund the studio's operations. The campaign was not a traditional fundraiser. Instead, it invited donors to become investors and buy stock in the company, naming them owners alongside the studio co-founders and other investors.
According to a statement shared with CP, Called Higher Studios' first production will be "The Grace of Christ." The film is a period piece based on the crucifixion of Jesus, written by Brian Baugh ("I'm Not Ashamed"). Production will begin in 2021. (Christian Post) Read more.
