1. IDF strikes Syrian army targets near border after munitions fired at Israel - Times of Israel

Israeli attack helicopters on Friday night struck several military targets in southern Syria belonging to the Syrian military, in response to munitions fired at Israel earlier in the day, the Israel Defense Forces said.

Targets included "observation positions and intelligence-gathering tools inside Syrian posts," the military said. Syrian state news agency SANA said the strikes injured two soldiers, hit three sites and caused fires.

Arabic media reports said missiles had hit anti-aircraft batteries near Quneitra in the Syrian Golan Heights.

2. IDF Reconfigures Forces, Shuts Down Roads on Lebanon Border Anticipating Possible Hezbollah Attack - Jewish Press

The IDF has reconfigured its deployment on Israel's border with Lebanon and has shut down roads near the border in an anticipation of a pending attack by the Hezbollah terror organization.

The IDF stated Saturday that "in light of the assessment of the situation in the IDF and in accordance with the defense plan of the Northern Command, the IDF's deployment in the military and civilian space will change in order to strengthen the defense on the northern border."

The IDF has already steamed reinforcements to the border and "a number of changes were made in the deployment of the forces near the Lebanese border, as well as other operations that serve the operational efforts," the IDF stated.

Furthermore, a number of routes in the border area were blocked for the movement of military vehicles. In addition, in a few localities, access roads were blocked to civilians, and alternative routes have been opened for residents' movement.

3. Report: Russia-backed milita taking over Syrian Golan Heights - Israel Hayom

The Russians have been steadily gaining control over the Syrian Golan Heights region in recent weeks, establishing their own strong militia in the area, Hebrew-language outlet Channel 12 News reported Friday.

Dubbed "The Huran Army," the biblical name of the region, the militia is headed by a local rebel commander, Ahmed al-Ouda, who fought against Syrian President Bashar Assad, according to the report.

This recent development is a positive turn of events as far as Israel is concerned, the report stated, since Russian President Vladimir Putin is interested in keeping the flames between Jerusalem and Damascus low.

The Huran Army, consisting of multiple Muslim officers from the Caucasus, is hostile to both Iran and the Syrian regime, Channel 12 News reported.

4. Eight new coronavirus fatalities Sunday - Israel National News

Eight coronavirus-related fatalities were reported in Israel Sunday, bringing the total death toll from the pandemic to 468, according to data released by the Health Ministry Sunday evening.

Just 5,173 tests were carried out by Sunday evening, with 506 new confirmed cases, or 9.8% of those tested.

The total number of cases reported in Israel since the pandemic began rose to 61,764, of which 27,014 cases ended in recovery, with 34,282 cases currently active.

Of those active cases, 33,551 of the patients are in isolation at home or in coronavirus hotels, while 731 patients are currently hospitalized.

5. Killer cloth: New Israeli mask 99% effective against coronavirus - World Israel News

Israeli start-up Sonovia expects its improved anti-microbial fabric to be capable of neutralizing 99 percent of the coronavirus to which it is exposed.

The company announced last month that the Microspectrum (Weipu Jishu) lab in Shanghai had confirmed that Sonovia's fabric neutralized more than 90 percent of the coronavirus in its tests.

Since this test material was submitted several months ago, Sonovia's proprietary zinc-coating formulations have been optimized even further, and the company expects its new fabric to be found 99 percent effective against coronavirus in upcoming EU-authorized laboratory tests.

The new fabric is already being used in the company's SonoMask, which is commercially available on Sonovia's website.

1. Russia conducted anti-satellite test in space, says US Space Command - DefenseNews.com

U.S. Space Command says that Russia tested an anti-satellite weapon on orbit July 15, continuing a series of aggressive actions that nation has taken in space.

According to a July 23 SPACECOM statement, Russian inspector satellite Cosmos 2543 released another object into space in proximity to another Russian satellite, an action inconsistent with its stated purpose. U.S. officials have suggested in the past that such an object could be used as a high-speed projectile weapon to attack other satellites.

"The Russian satellite system used to conduct this on-orbit weapons test is the same satellite system that we raised concerns about earlier this year, when Russia maneuvered near a U.S. government satellite," said Gen. John "Jay" Raymond, SPACECOM Commander and U.S. Space Force Chief of Space Operations. "This is further evidence of Russia's continuing efforts to develop and test space-based systems, and consistent with the Kremlin's published military doctrine to employ weapons that hold U.S. and allied space assets at risk." (Read more)

- Almighty God, we pray Your power come down upon Russia and destroy their efforts to test space-based systems that employ weapons to hold U.S. and allied space assets at risk. Preserve America's security and insulate us with divine intervention that hinders and blocks Russia's evil actions. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

"Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are upon the sinful kingdom, and I WILL destroy it from off the face of the earth." (Amos 9:8)

2. China orders U.S. Chengdu consulate shut; protesters jeer Houston closure - Reuters

China on Friday ordered the United States to close its consulate in Chengdu in response to a U.S. order for China to shut its Houston consulate, where staff packed up belongings watched by jeering protesters amid a sharp deterioration in relations between the world's two largest economies.

The order to close the consulate in Chengdu, a city in southwestern China, continued Beijing's recent practice of like-for-like responses to Washington's actions.

Beijing had threatened retaliation after the Trump administration gave it 72 hours - until 4 p.m. on Friday - to vacate its consulate in the Texas city, and had urged Washington to reconsider.

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Thursday the consulate had been "a hub of spying and intellectual property theft" and Washington and its allies must use "more creative and assertive ways" to press the Chinese Communist Party to change its ways. (Read more)

- Father God, we pray America will rejoice in their disassociation with China. Bring strong judgment against all their spying and intellectual property theft while in Houston. Let all their sin be dealt with by Almighty God. Drive out their wicked deception from America. We ask in the Name of Jesus.

- "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolators, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."
(Revelation 22:15)

3. 'Thank You That We Live in the U.S.A.,' Pastor Greg Laurie Prays before Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's Speech on Communist China - Christian Headlines

Pastor Greg Laurie prayed at an event on Thursday where Secretary of State Mike Pompeo implored world leaders to demand change from China.

"Lord, today we come before you to thank you that we live in the United States of America," Laurie, the pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship Church in Riverside, California, began. "And one thing we treasure so greatly is the freedom we have from you to pursue life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. "We have the freedom to speak our minds, the freedom to worship, and the freedom to proclaim the message that Jesus died for our sins and rose from the dead and can give us that personal liberty, life and happiness we desire if we trust Him as our Savior and Lord," Laurie concluded.

According to Air 1, at the event, Pompeo spoke about China's communist regime. Pompeo asked that the free world helped "induce" change in China, where there have been increasing levels of violence and what Pompeo called a "totalitarian" environment.

"Communists almost always lie," he said. "The biggest lie that they tell is to think that they speak for 1.4 billion people who are surveilled, oppressed and scared to speak out." (Read more)

- Almighty God, Pastor Laurie's prayer acknowledged the powerful hand of God on America. Praise God. Lord, we pray You break the iron-clad hand of Communism off the 1.4 billion people who are given a doomed life-sentence of living death from birth. Assign myriads of angels to sweep over the Chinese people and draw their lost souls to salvation through the Blood of Jesus. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

"These are the things that you shall do; Speak you every man the truth to his neighbor; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates." (Zechariah 8:16)

4. Exclusive: More than 40 countries accuse North Korea of breaching U.N. sanctions - Reuters

More than 40 countries accused North Korea on Friday of illicitly breaching a United Nations cap on refined petroleum imports and called for an immediate halt to deliveries until the end of the year, according to a complaint seen by Reuters.

The 15-member U.N. Security Council imposed an annual cap of 500,000 barrels in December 2017 in a bid to cut off fuel for North Korea's nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs.

But in a complaint to the U.N. Security Council North Korea sanctions committee, 43 countries - including the United States, Britain and France - said they estimated that in the first five months of this year Pyongyang had imported more than 1.6 million barrels of refined petroleum via 56 illicit tanker deliveries. The complaint said North Korean vessels continue to conduct ship-to-ship transfers at sea "on a regular basis as the DPRK's primary means of importing refined petroleum." North Korea's formal name is the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

The countries asked the Security Council sanctions committee to make an official determination that North Korea had exceeded the cap and "inform member states that they must immediately cease selling, supplying, or transferring refined petroleum products to the DPRK for the remainder of the year."  (Read more)

- Almighty God, we pray that strict sanctions be levied against North Korea for the rest of this year, and into 2021. Their wickedness reaps strict cohesive rules against their extreme deception. We ask that the hand of God come upon them and end their ruthless thefts and total unlawful actions. Stop them, Lord. In the Name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

"You shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another."
(Leviticus 19:11)

5. As coronavirus cases surge, Dr. Birx warns that 11 cities need to take 'aggressive' action - Fox News

Eleven major cities need to take "aggressive" steps to mitigate outbreaks of coronavirus, Dr. Deborah Birx warned.

During a phone call Wednesday with hundreds of state and city officials, Birx explained that Baltimore, Cleveland, Columbus, Indianapolis, Las Vegas, Miami, Minneapolis, Nashville, New Orleans, Pittsburgh and St. Louis were not doing enough to combat outbreaks in their cities.

While Birx noted encouraging declines in positive test results in the Sunbelt states, she warned that the virus would start moving north.

"What started out very much as a southern and western epidemic is starting to move up the East Coast into Tennessee, Arkansas, up into Missouri, up across Colorado, and obviously we're talking about increases now in Baltimore," Birx said. "So this is really critical that everybody is following this and making sure they're being aggressive about mitigation efforts." (Read more)

- Father God, we bind by Your Word the powers behind this virus, as well as the media propaganda which brings with it mega evil spirits. God, send myriads of holy ministering angels to these cities which have little of the light of Jesus. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

"Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keeps the truth many enter in." (Isaiah 26:2)

6. Trump wants $105B for schools added to next coronavirus stimulus bill - Fox News

President Trump on Thursday urged schools across the country to reopen amid the coronavirus pandemic as long as they can practice good hygiene and social distancing -- adding that the White House is asking Congress to pledge $105 billion to schools as part of next coronavirus stimulus bill.

The president, who has for weeks been pressuring schools to reopen and "get our economy going," added during a coronavirus briefing at the White House that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will release new guidelines to ensure the safe reopening of schools.

CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield has recently emphasized that his agency's guidelines were only recommendations, and he urged schools to find ways to reopen while minimizing the spread of COVID-19. "Nothing would cause me greater sadness than to see any school district or school use our guidance as a reason not to reopen," Redfield said. (Read more)

- Almighty God, we pray that You will provide President Trump the $105B that he needs to reopen the doors of all the schools in America. Lift the curse put upon our country through China's deeds. Bind any and all who would rob our children from having a normal education and sports activities. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

"Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not yourself from my supplication."
(Psalm 55:1)

7. Trump signs executive orders aimed at lowering prescription drug costs - Washington Examiner

President Trump signed four executive orders on Friday that aim to lower prescription drug prices, seeking to add to his healthcare reform credentials amid sagging approval ratings. "They represent the most far-reaching prescription drug reforms ever issued by a president, nothing even close," Trump said in a press briefing on Friday.

The orders would have to be translated into official rules by agencies and are not likely to be in place before the election. Still, Trump portrayed the signing as a blow for seniors against pharmaceutical companies and foreign freeloaders.

The first of four orders will mandate discounts on insulin for hospitals to be passed down to patients. "These providers should not be receiving discounts for themselves while charging their poorest patients massive, full prices. Under this order, the price of insulin for affected patients will come down to just pennies a day from numbers that you weren't even able to think about. It's a massive cost savings," Trump said.

Trump will also allow cheaper versions of the same prescription drugs to be imported from Canada, a proposal that drug companies have rebuked. (Read more)

- Lord God, we pray that You will strengthen every avenue of President Trump's executive orders. We thank God for directing him to be all-wise in lowering prescription drug costs. Bless him and protect him. In the mighty Name of Jesus.

"For God has delivered me out of all trouble: and my eyes have seen God's desire upon my enemies." (Psalm 54:7)

8. Cuccinelli: Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot 'turned 180 degrees' on working with Trump - Washington Examiner

The Department of Homeland Security's deputy secretary said Chicago's Democratic mayor has reversed course and gotten on board with President Trump's plan to send federal law enforcement into the city. "The mayor who was saying, 'Oh, no Trump, no federal officials, no,' has turned 180 degrees. And you know why? Because we're doing it cooperatively as President Trump has always offered to do," Ken Cuccinelli, a senior official performing the duties of deputy secretary, told Fox News host Shannon Bream late Thursday. "He repeated it again today - his goal is to lower the violence. It's to lower the carnage. It's to bring safety to these communities."

The Department of Justice announced this week the expansion of Operation Legend, a coordinated law enforcement effort in which federal officers work with state and local officials in places where violent crime has risen amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Attorney General William Barr approved the deployment of more than 100 federal agents from DOJ's FBI, U.S. Marshals Service, Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to the streets of Chicago, where violent crime has increased 51% compared to the same period last year, according to DOJ statistics.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot pointed out earlier this week that Trump was threatening to send in federal resources in cities with female mayors. She was among 15 mayors who urged Trump not to send federal police into their cities, but after a phone call with Trump midweek, she was supportive. Cuccinelli said Trump's "tough" rhetoric was the result of wanting to help the country, not overstep elected leaders.

"He is tough, but he cares about the American people, and he cares about every community in this country. And that's why he's advancing federal officers and looking for partners, whether they're his political allies or not," said Cuccinelli. "Mayor Lightfoot in Chicago is surely not a Trump political ally, but he is willing to extend the olive branch and the support of federal resources to help them bring peace there." (Read more)

- Almighty God, we thank You for keeping President Trump strong in his convictions and sound judgments because his goal is to decrease the level of violence in our land. Guide him in deploying federal officers to the hotspots in our nation. Strengthen our President in all his leadership abilities and farsightedness. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

"Behold, God is my helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. He shall reward evil unto my enemies: cut them off in God's truth." (Psalm 54:4-5)

9. GOP's Gohmert introduces resolution that would ban the Democratic Party - The Hill

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) introduced a House resolution Thursday calling on lawmakers to ban organizations or political groups that have historically supported the Confederacy or slavery in the U.S., a list he said includes the Democratic Party.

"A great portion of the history of the Democratic Party is filled with racism and hatred. Since people are demanding we rid ourselves of the entities, symbols, and reminders of the repugnant aspects of our past, then the time has come for Democrats to acknowledge their party's loathsome and bigoted past, and consider changing their party name to something that isn't so blatantly and offensively tied to slavery, Jim Crow, discrimination, and the Ku Klux Klan," Gohmert said in a statement.

The resolution is co-sponsored by GOP Reps. Andy Biggs (Ariz.), Jody Hice(Ga.), Randy Weber (Texas) and Andy Harris (Md.)

It comes after the House on Wednesday voted to remove from the Capitol statues of people who served in the Confederacy or defended slavery. (Read more)

- Father God, we ask that You push this Resolution through to victory. We pray in the holy Name of Jesus.

"For the Lord is our Judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our King; He will save us." (Isaiah 33:22)

10. The wealthy Republicans who want to oust Trump in November's election - Reuters

Jimmy Tosh, who runs a multi-million dollar hog and grain farm in Tennessee, is a lifelong Republican. He is pro-gun, supports lower taxes and agrees with most of Republican President Donald Trump's agenda. He is also spending his money to help defeat Trump in November's election. "I agree with 80% of the things he does; I just cannot stand a liar," Tosh, 70, said of Trump.

Tosh is one of a growing number of wealthy conservative Americans who say Trump is a threat to democracy and the long-term health of the Republican Party. They are actively supporting his Democratic opponent in the Nov. 3 vote, former Vice President Joe Biden. Several billionaire and millionaire donors to The Lincoln Project, the most prominent of Republican-backed groups opposing Trump's re-election, told Reuters that elected Republicans should also be punished for enabling him. Some even support the ouster of vulnerable Republican senators to hand control of the chamber to Democrats.

Their money has fueled an unprecedented campaign from members of a sitting president's own party to oust him from office. This is a sign that Trump has alienated some Republicans, most recently with his response to the coronavirus pandemic and nationwide protests over police brutality against Black Americans. (Read more)

- Almighty God in heaven, we pray that Your hand of deliverance will be upon Mr. Tosh and all the wealthy conservative Americans who supported President Trump in the last election, but who now are donors to the Lincoln Project. We bind the spirit of betrayal -- the same spirit that rested upon Judas - in this election. Touch the minds of these traitors and restore the solid convictions that they have held to in the past. Almighty God, secure President Trump's victory as President in November 2020. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

- "But God has heard me; He has attended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, which has not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me." (Psalm 66:19-20)

11. Rep. John Lewis to lie in state at Capitol Rotunda - Fox News

Rep. John Lewis, D-Ga., will lie in state at the U.S. Capitol beginning Monday, as part of the third of six days of programs honoring the civil rights icon. Lewis will be the first African American to lie in state in the Capitol Rotunda.

The late congressman will first be transported from Montgomery, Ala., to Maryland's Joint Base Andrews for a short ceremony, before a motorcade will accompany him to the Capitol, passing by a number of landmarks along the way. The motorcade is expected to pause at various sites, including the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial and Black Lives Matter Plaza, where Lewis made his final public appearance.

When Lewis reaches the Capitol at approximately 1 p.m. local time, a military honor guard will escort his casket up the East Front Steps and into the Rotunda. A ceremony will precede his casket lying in state later in the afternoon. (Read more)

- - Lord God, we honor the life and the legacy of Rep. John Lewis. Among his own here in the halls of Congress, he was known to be a true gentleman who, even after a vigorous time of debate in congressional hearings, would still greet those on the other side with honor. We ask Your peace and Your comfort to rest today upon the family of John Lewis, and upon all who knew him well here on Capitol Hill. In Your Name, amen.

"Give to everyone what you owe them: . . . if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor." (Romans 13:7)

12. Greenblatt: Peace plan asks Israel to pledge land for Palestinian state - Jerusalem Post

The Trump administration's peace plan asked Israel to commit to setting aside territory for a future Palestinian state in exchange for its approval to annex settlements, former US envoy Jason Greenblatt told Army Radio.

"Can the Israeli government declare the extension of sovereignty? The answer is yes," Greenblatt said Thursday. "But under the peace plan that we released, that comes with a commitment to set aside a certain area of land for the eventual potential Palestinian state." (Read more)

- Father God, we repent that our government continues to pursue this course of action. Even as we now see two hurricanes bearing down upon our land, in judgment, we ask nevertheless for Your mercy to yet rest upon us. In Your Name, amen,

" . . . in wrath remember mercy." (Habakkuk 3:2)

What? Wait a minute!

Marxist groups that want to defund the police, abolish the traditional role of fathers in the family, and set all prisoners free because of racism are being celebrated by political leaders and the news media- What? Wait a minute! The world is being shut down by the fear of a virus where there is a 99% chance of survival- What? Wait a minute! People have adopted the slogan, "Hate doesn't live here," but call everyone who disagrees with them racists, bigots, hatemongers and more- What? Wait a minute! Mayors in the largest cities in the US are demanding the defunding of police yet are turning a blind eye to riots, murders, crime, vandalization of businesses-What? Wait a minute! These are just from headlines, here are more.

Democrats blame the President for COVID 19 deaths, but offer no solution to what they call a national pandemic- What? Wait a minute! The New York governor sends people infected with COVID 19 to nursing homes and then tries to blame the President for huge numbers of nursing home deaths- What? Wait a minute! Now he's saying that criticism of his actions is just politics-nothing to see here- What? Wait a minute! Riots in Seattle and Portland, the mayors and Democrat politicians there refusing to restore order, but blame the President- What? Wait a minute! The Speaker of the House invoking Nazism when the President sends federal agents to restore order in riot-torn Democrat-controlled cities- What? Wait a minute!

The US closed Chinese consulate offices amid an array of issues, including COVID 19 and spying, and China retaliates saying the US is responsible for all of the deterioration in US-China relations- What? Wait a minute! Democrat governors and mayors are issuing orders and punishments for not following lockdowns and wearing masks, yet their states and cities are the most infected with COVID 19- What? Wait a minute! Those same politicians want businesses shut down and people in lockdown, but they support rioters in the streets- What? Wait a minute! Former Vice President Joe Biden says that black people are not really black if they don't vote for him- What? Wait a minute!

In more than 80 pages in the Democratic National Committee's draft platform published by Politico, whites are mentioned 15 times, all critical, including three references to white supremacy or supremacists and one to white nationalists, which likely encourages more rioting in the name of racism-What? Wait a minute! Do you see the pattern in all these headlines? The nation is gone crazy. Proverbs 12:15 says, "The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, But he who heeds counsel is wise." America is adrift in foolishness. Oh, one more-Major League Baseball has no fans in the stadiums, so it is populating seats behind home plate with cardboard cut-outs of fans-What? Wait a minute! Put on the brakes. We need the LORD.

Signs and Wonders

Part One: Hurricane Douglas Brushes Hawaii With Rain and Wind - The Weather Channel

Hurricane Douglas is beginning to track away from Hawaii after brushing the island chain with rain and wind on Sunday.

The eyewall of Douglas tracked just north of Maui and Oahu, which prevented those islands from seeing the worst of the hurricane's strong winds and heavy rainfall. Some bands of heavy rain with gusty winds did affect both islands, however.

Douglas will track north of Kauai and then farther out to sea through early Monday morning. (Read more)

'Finding God in the Streets':

How the Church Has Moved Outside the Walls to Usher-in Revival in America

Worship leader Sean Feucht has gone coast to coast with his outdoor Gospel outreaches, and now he's back in California, ministering to people in Redding, Pasadena, Bakersfield, Fresno, and San Diego.

Since California's government has banned indoor church gatherings, Feucht (pronounced Foyt) and his Burn 24/7 ministry are standing for religious freedom by holding large outdoor worship events.

In a video posted to Feucht's "Hold the Line" Facebook page, hundreds of people attended his worship service in Redding under the Sun Dial Bridge on Wednesday. The event was live-streamed on Facebook and users joined the service from all over the country and around the world.

In a recent Facebook post from an event he held in New York City, Feucht wrote that with the response he has seen to the Gospel, he believes a Great Awakening is coming to the US. He wrote:

"The enemy has greatly overplayed his hand. He scattered the Church and closed her doors. Governmental authority was abused to shut her mouth and silence her song. But now that the Church has left the building, she is FINDING GOD IN THE STREETS!
