Dear Friends,
During this "set time" of Pentecost, when our Lord visited the original 120 believers who were gathered in the Upper Room in Jerusalem, waiting for "something," we too are now sensing the imminent release of a new move of the Spirit -- another "mighty rushing wind" that will sweep away all debris in our lives and make way for a fresh and abundant infilling of His Spirit. Praise God!
We are presenting this Special Edition of the Daily Brief to you this evening, citing many ministries (both here and abroad) who are gathering in numerous online venues, awaiting this new move of the Spirit.
Each global ministry may have a different focus (worship; evangelism; pro-life) but all are in position at this same "set time" -- PENTECOST.
We invite you now to carefully review the ministry listings given below, and to seek our Lord as to which one(s) He would call you to join.
May each one be blessed during this "Pentecost Week," and always.
Please note:
We are aware that not all believers are honoring May 28th as the date to mark this year's Pentecost, but instead have other dates in mind.
No matter when you feel to commemorate this amazing date on God's calendar, when the Spirit fell and the church was born, we honor you, too, in the Spirit of Unity.
As we go forward, day by day, doing the will of our Father, "the author and the finisher of our faith" (Hebrews 12:2), we recall the words of Jesus Himself, in John 17:21:
"I pray for them all to be joined together as one even as you and I, Father, are joined together as one. I pray for them to become one with us so that the world will recognize that you sent me." (The Passion Translation)

Dear Friends,
During this time on the calendar that marks the great visitation of our Lord, we remember the 120 saints in the original church that were gathered together in the Upper Room when the Spirit fell. Praise God!
Accordingly, Capitol Hill Prayer Partners wishes to invite each one of you to please seek our Lord, and to discover one, two - hour period (120 minutes) to offer personal prayers of repentance.
Let's take 120 (minutes) to honor the 120 saints who were present at the First Pentecost -- the First Outpouring of the Spirit! Praise God again!

Between now and Pentecost there will be another move of repentance globally to grow the righteous remnant in many nations. The Global Day of Repentance will be offering this initiative from sundown Wednesday May 27 to sundown Thursday May 28 in one's own time zone. Honoring the 120 in the upper room we strongly recommend at least 120 minutes of repentance during that day, which is the day prior to Shavuot, the original Pentecost. We continue to stand upon the promises of God's Word that an offering of true, heartfelt repentance WILL stay the hand of the enemy and STOP THE PLAGUE.

Late last week, a sister in Christ ("Kolyah" - her Hebrew name) prepared a "Class Action Suit" to the court of Heaven setting forth the wickedness of the enemy in all our nations. It seeks the Lord's judgment to take down the evil powers of this world and to empower the righteous to serve Him. At sundown Thursday, when the global day of repentance is over, having approached the Lord with cleaner hands and a purer heart, we will await the verdict from the Judge that will be handed down as early as Friday . . . Shavuot . . . the original Pentecost.

The Biblical outpouring of the Holy Spirit marked at Pentecost ushered in a new LIFE movement on earth. It was when God breathed the breath of LIFE into his ekklesia and the world was never the same.
We are believing for a breath from the Almighty God to fill us a fresh with LIFE and LIFE to the full. So we are crying out for LIFE in America. This prayer time is not about abortion. It is about agreeing with heaven for God to come in power and love to revive, restore, realign and awaken His people. To be sure, abortion is a crime against humanity.
But abortion is not just a medical procedure. It is an expression of a cultural, legislative, judicial and spiritual rebellion. One that our nation has both allowed and participated in. But it's nothing King Jesus hasn't already overcome. And so we pray and turn our hearts to the Father. Without personal or corporate judgement. But in repentance, humility and divine authority we join him who "is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for [us]." Hebrews 7:25 NSAB.
Each segment is anchored in the first hour by a key leader or group working extensively in this particular arena. Individual prayer blocks are chosen by the prayer leaders. Each three (3) hour segment has a thematic order and takes us on a spiritual journey into the heart of the Father for this critical issue.

Dear Praying Friends,
A number of us in the prayer movement have strongly felt during this season between Passover and Pentecost, when the pandemic shutdown has also been occurring, that the Spirit of the Lord is moving over the face of the earth as never before. Many millions of us have been in prayer since the World Prayer Together online call and the launch of the Go 2020 prayer and mission effort on May 1st. Last week, many of us also prayed for the Muslim world during their Ramadan festival that many of them would wake up, possibly through dreams and visions, as well as through the bold witness of local Christians, to understand who Jesus really is and come to know Him.
Here attached are some of the wonderful prayer and mission initiatives that are happening now and during the next few days, leading up to Pentecost and the ongoing Go 2020 effort to mobilize 100 million believers to pray for and reach out to one billion who still need to come to Christ. The Global Voice of Prayer team, some of whom organized the Global Day of Prayer that many of us participated in years ago, has arranged this attached broadcast that we hope you will enjoy and circulate to others in your own networks during this week. If you have local Christian TV stations that would be open to airing it, please do pass it on to them as well as to churches that might want to use it during their services this weekend. We hope it will also be broadcast on major Christian satellite TV programs on Saturday and Sunday across the various world time zones.
Please pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the Body of Christ and that tens of millions will hear the Gospel and come to know the Lord during this special season. Pray for amazing love and unity among brothers and sisters in Christ across denominations and movements to continue and increase, that we will all flow together like tributaries in HIs great river of eternal and abundant life so it will touch every person and every people group on earth. May we see great breakthroughs for the Gospel with loving witness (prayer, care and share) accompanied by signs and wonders, dreams and visions among Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus and agnostic secularists-- all who still do not know the Lord of life!

The current COVID-19 pandemic shouldn't take the Church by surprise. The apocalyptic chapters of the Gospels have already warned us of the things to come and of the things to expect (Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21).
Rather, we see this as God's wake-up call to decisive action. For undoubtedly, this is a kairos moment of a God-appointed window, in a God-appointed time, with God-appointed opportunities for a God-appointed harvest!
We dare not miss this window of opportunity!
With Pentecost just round the corner, and the pandemic at our doorsteps, many Christian leaders are calling for united, fervent PRAYER for a fresh visitation of the Holy Spirit, resulting in the revival of the Church and a fresh witness unto the hope of the Gospel for a desperate world.
Unto this end, we humbly desire to serve the Global Church with messages of hope through Sound from Heaven, a Global Pentecost online broadcast.

Trump's Stirring Memorial Day Message from the Birthplace of the National Anthem: 'We Are the Captains of Our Own Fate'
President Donald Trump honored those who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our nation during a Memorial Day visit to Fort McHenry in Baltimore.
Joined by first lady Melania Trump, the president asked the country to remember all those who have laid down their lives for the cause of liberty.
Speaking of fighting at the fort during the War of 1812, Trump invoked the memory of Francis Scott Key, who wrote what later became "The Star-Spangled Banner" in 1814 during the Battle of Baltimore after watching American troops prevail following the British bombardment.
"Every time we sing our anthem, every time its rousing chorus swells our hearts with pride, we renew the eternal bonds of loyalty to our fallen heroes," the president said, according to a White House transcript of the remarks. "We think of the soldiers who spent their final heroic moments on distant battlefields to keep us safe at home. We remember the young Americans who never got the chance to grow old but whose legacy will outlive us all," Trump continued.
"Americans gave their lives to carry that flag through piercing waves, blazing fires, sweltering deserts and storms of bullets and shrapnel," he said.
"Their love was boundless. Their devotion was without limit. Their courage was beyond measure," the president said of the sacrifice of American troops throughout history.
. . . Trump concluded his remarks in Baltimore by saying that Americans will live in freedom and prosperity as long as there are those among us who are willing to sacrifice all for the cause of liberty.
"For as long as our flag flies in the sky above, the names of these fallen warriors will be woven into its threads. For as long as we have citizens willing to follow their example, to carry on their burden, to continue their legacy, then America's cause will never fail and American freedom will never, ever die," he vowed.
