1. Is Israel heading for a second coronavirus wave? - Jerusalem Post
Tightfisted testing policies and logistical delays may lead to a second wave of coronavirus infection in Israel sooner than most people expect, senior health officials told The Jerusalem Post.
Israelis need to be cautious, Cyrille Cohen, the head of the immunotherapy laboratory at Bar-Ilan University told the Post, as the number of children and educational staff who entered isolation reached into the dozens on Thursday.
"It is hard to say if we are seeing the beginning of a second wave" of the novel coronavirus, he said, "but we have to be cautious. The numbers are very low, but the numbers were very low when we started this pandemic."
As of Thursday, at press time, there were 2,680 active cases of coronavirus, including 36 people on ventilators. Some 279 people have died.
2. Gantz joins PM in response to Iran threats: Arrogant words are sign of weakness - Times of Israel
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday warned Iran not to threaten Israel with destruction, saying the Iranians "will put themselves in a similar danger," while Defense Minister Benny Gantz dismissed the "arrogant" words from Tehran as a "sign of weakness."
"We repeat. Anyone who threatens to destroy Israel will put themselves in a similar danger," Netanyahu said in response to comments by Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, who described Israel as "a virus that must be eliminated."
During a speech marking Iran's anti-Israel Quds Day, Khamenei said Israel's establishment was an unequaled "crime against humanity," repeated his characterization of the Jewish state as "a cancerous tumor" and said it was the creation of "Westerners and Jewish corporation owners."
"Westerners & Jewish corporation owners' main goal by fabricating the Zionist regime & this cancerous tumor was to build a stronghold to influence & dominate West Asia. So, they equipped the bogus, occupying regime with all kinds of military & non-military tools, even nukes," Khamenei said in excerpts from the speech that were posted to Twitter.
3. Russia to convene Mideast quartet for talks on West Bank annexation plans - Times of Israel
Representatives of the so-called Middle East Quartet were set to meet Friday via video conference amid efforts by Moscow to deter Israel from annexing parts of the West Bank and bring the Palestinians back to talks.
"Today, a video conference of the 'Quartet' on the Middle Eastern settlement will take place at the level of special representatives," said Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, according to the TASS news agency, adding that Russia will be represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin.
The Quartet is made up of the United Nations, the European Union, the United States and Russia.
According to Channel 13, Russian Special Presidential Envoy for the Middle East Mikhail Bogdanov spoke Thursday with the Israeli Chargé d'Affaires in Moscow, Eli Belotserkovsky, to update him on the planned conference call.
4. PA Will Resume Security Coordination, If Israel Secretly Confirms Annexation is Off the Table - Jewish Press
Palestinian Authority sources told Israeli Hebrew-language investigative reporter Gal Berger from the Kan public broadcasting news channel Saturday night the PA is willing to dial back its vow to eliminate security coordination with Israel.
According to the report, the sources claimed the PA will resume it security coordination with Israel if a "secret message" is received that sovereignty will not be extended to her Jewish communities in Area C - in Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley.
One of the major reasons the current government was elected by the citizens of Israel after a months-long process was precisely in order to end the years-long uncertain status of the Jewish communities that exist in the territories.
Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas said Tuesday in a speech the entity would no longer honor its agreements with the United States and Israel, including those on security cooperation.
5. Senate Democrats: Annexation puts Israel's security, democracy at risk - Jerusalem Post
WASHINGTON - A group of 18 Senate Democrats have sent a letter to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Alternate Prime Minister Benny Gantz urging them not to move forward with annexing Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
Senators Chris Murphy, Chris Van Hollen and Tim Kaine drafted the letter, and senior senators such as Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders joined it.
"A deep commitment to Israel's security and a shared set of democratic values are foundational elements of the close relationship between our countries," the lawmakers wrote. "We are therefore concerned that unilateral annexation puts both Israel's security and democracy at risk."
They went on to say that annexation "would betray our shared democratic values by denying Palestinians' right to self-determination in a viable, sovereign, independent and contiguous state.
"It could bring an end to Palestinian security cooperation with Israel, directly threatening the security of the Israeli people, and endanger Israel's crucial peace agreement with Jordan," the senators added.
"As friends and supporters of Israel, we caution you against taking unilateral steps that would fray our unique bonds, imperil Israel's future and place out of reach the prospect of a lasting peace," they continued.
"If you move forward with unilateral annexation, we would not support that action. This is consistent with long-standing American policy opposing unilateral actions by either party to the conflict. Pursuit of a viable, negotiated two-state solution is essential to ensuring our shared democratic values and lasting bipartisan support for Israel in Congress."
6. Corruption trial of Israeli leader Netanyahu begins amid raucous atmosphere- Times of Israel
As Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's corruption trial finally began Sunday, two images from the courtroom steps stood out.
One was of the arrival of chief prosecutor Liat Ben-Ari. The target of a raging campaign of threats and incitement, she was encircled by beefy bodyguards she'd been assigned.
The other was that of a seething Netanyahu, surrounded by ministers applauding as he lambasted Israel's police, judiciary and media for "wanting to topple me at any cost."
On Sunday, Netanyahu, as he has often done, decried the proceedings as "an attempted coup d'état" by what he described as a vast left-wing conspiracy that "stitched up charges" so as to "block the will of the people."
Upon his arrival at the courthouse, several hundred supporters blasted supportive slogans and campaign jingles of his Likud party. "Bibi, King of Israel" and "Bibi, you'll never walk alone," they shouted, referring to him by his nickname.

9. Russian Summit Aims to Repair US-Palestinian Ties - BFP
Thursday, 21 May 2020 | Russia is reportedly trying to set up a roundtable within the next few weeks in an attempt to warm up relations between the US and the Palestinian Authority (PA).
The meeting would provide the PA with an opportunity to suggest alterations to President Donald Trump's peace proposal in a neutral setting, according to a Channel 13 report that cited unnamed officials.
Other attendees would include the Middle East Quartet-which comprises Russia, the US, the European Union and the United Nations-and officials from various Middle Eastern nations. No one is sure whether Israel will be invited to participate.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov pitched the idea to US Middle East envoy Avi Berkowitz in a phone call on Tuesday. Berkowitz did not reject the idea but conditioned that the US would only participate if the meeting were to use Trump's peace plan as a foundation on which to negotiate, the Times of Israel reported.
The PA has been banning the US since President Trump declared Jerusalem Israel's capital in 2017. Each of Trump's successive actions, including moving the US embassy to Jerusalem, recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights and releasing the peace plan in January, have further angered the Palestinian leadership.
- Pray that Israel's leadership will have the courage to move forward with whatever plans they are making that are in keeping with God's will regardless of international reaction. Pray that this conference will only take place with Israel's participation, and ask the Lord to keep it from happening at all if its only real goal is to further marginalize Israel. Scripture

1. Trump administration discussed conducting first US nuclear test explosion in decades - VOA News
According to the Washington Post, the subject was raised during a meeting of senior officials representing the top national security agencies last week. No agreement to conduct a test was made, but a senior administration official said the proposal is "very much an ongoing conversation." The US has not conducted a nuclear test explosion since 1992.
The topic surfaced at a meeting of senior officials representing the top national security agencies after accusations from the administration that Russia and China are conducting low-yield nuclear tests, the Post said. The meeting, however, did not conclude with any agreement to conduct a nuclear test.
A decision was ultimately made to take other measures in response to threats posed by Russia and China and avoid a resumption of testing, the report added. 2. U.S. to pull out of Open Skies treaty, Trump's latest treaty withdrawal - Reuters
The United States said on Thursday it would withdraw from the 35-nation Open Skies treaty allowing unarmed surveillance flights over member countries, the Trump administration's latest move to pull the country out of a major global treaty.
The administration said Russia had repeatedly violated the pact's terms. Senior officials said the pullout would formally take place in six months, but President Donald Trump held out the possibility that Russia could come into compliance.
"I think we have a very good relationship with Russia. But Russia didn't adhere to the treaty. So until they adhere, we will pull out," Trump told reporters. 9. Infectious-disease expert: 'American medicine has gone nuts' - WND
Dr. Stephen M. Smith is the widely respected infectious-disease specialist who briefed President Trump last month at the White House on the promise of the anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for COVID-19, calling it a "game changer."
His contribution to the president's highly controversial enthusiasm for the drug was recounted in a Washington Post story reporting that immediately after Smith gave a detailed presentation at the White House on April 3, Trump ordered the delivery of mass doses to coronavirus hot spots such as New York City and New Orleans.
The Post opined that Trump's "swift embrace" of hydroxychloroquine "illustrates the degree to which the president prioritizes anecdote and feeling over science and fact."But that is precisely how Smith - a graduate of the Yale University School of Medicine and a former research scientist at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases under Dr. Anthony Fauci - sees many of his colleagues reacting to a drug he argues has been shown in studies worldwide and in his own practice to be a safe and effective treatment for COVID-19.
"I don't have words to describe how frustrating this is," he said in a phone interview Wednesday morning with WND. "There's just a craziness out there, and I don't know how to correct it," Smith said. "The truth doesn't matter any more."
Smith said the disconnect between the data and the statements of scientists who have access to that data is "unbelievably frustrating."
Has American medicine gone nuts amid the coronavirus pandemic? "American medicine has gone nuts," he said. "It's one thing for the press to go nuts, but doctors have done that. The Journal of American Medicine has done that." (Read more)

10. One DR. overrules availability of hydroxychloroquine - WND
How could a cheap, effective drug, FDA-approved and in use worldwide since 1955, suddenly be restricted for outpatient use by American physicians? On March 28, 2020, as physicians worldwide were seeing striking success using hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19, the FDA erected bureaucratic barriers. Rick Bright, Ph.D., is an FDA bureaucrat, vaccine researcher and was appointed by President Obama on Nov. 15, 2016, to head BARDA (Biomedical Advance Research and Development Authority, a sub-agency of the FDA).
In an unprecedented move, Bright expanded his power and claimed credit for being the person imposing his will on all of us. In an appalling admission, Bright said: "Specifically, and contrary to misguided directives, I limited the broad use of chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine, promoted by the administration as a panacea, but which clearly lack scientific merit." Meanwhile, he promoted both remdesivir, a never-approved experimental antiviral in development by Gilead Sciences, and a vaccine for COVID-19. Early effective use of the older, safe and available hydroxychloroquine, whose patents had expired decades ago, would decrease demand for these new products.
Rick Bright's dictatorial decree limits the use of chloroquine (CQ) and hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) from the National Strategic Stockpile in COVID-19 to hospitalized patients only. States are using Bright's fiat to impose broad restrictions limiting the drugs' availability for physicians to use for outpatients to help them recover without hospitalization. (Read more)

11. Ease of Cyber Attack - Forbes
The coronavirus is laying the groundwork for a massive cyberattack. In fact, I'm on record today saying we'll see the largest cyberattack in HISTORY within the next six months.
Nobody is talking about this today. Fighting hackers is the last thing on most folks' minds. But coronavirus practically guarantees "largest cyberattack ever" will soon be plastered all over the front pages . . . Before the pandemic hit, employees who worked remotely were usually given special work laptops with beefed up security. For example, my friend works for the Irish tax authorities-the equivalent of the IRS. He often works from home, but under strict guidelines. He must use a dedicated work laptop and a separate, secure wi-fi connection.
He has to jump through multiple security hoops to even get past the welcome screen. For example, he must plug in a USB security stick to "unlock" work files. These measures make him difficult-but not impossible-to hack. In short, this is the level of security needed to ward off hackers. The thing is, coronavirus has uprooted all our lives in many ways. And among the most visible disruptions is forcing hundreds of millions of Americans to work from home.
Practically every employee in every firm in America is working from a makeshift desk on their kitchen table. Firms only had days to cobble together remote work plans. So you can bet most didn't set up secure systems, like the one my friend is using. In fact, the vast majority of employees probably don't even have dedicated work laptops. So hundreds of millions of folks are using personal laptops-on unsecured home internet connections-to access work files. Many of which likely contain confidential information and personal data. This is a dream come true for cyber criminals. Hackers only need to gain access through one entry point to seize control of a whole network. Once they're in they can steal data, secrets, and even lock you out of the network. (Read more)
- Almighty God, only You can break up this network of cyber attacks to prevent the hackers from having access to many of our deepest confidential data. God, we ask that you give an America cyber specialist a new program that will kick out all known hacker tricks and make then obsolete. Work a miracle, Lord. We pray in the Name of Jesus.

12. Isolation camps not voluntary - WND
A Washington state lawmaker is alerting citizens to "isolation camps" set up in his state and others to house people who become infected with COVID-19, warning that contrary to the conventional narrative, they are not voluntary.
State Republican Rep. Matt Shea of the Spokane area in eastern Washington, explained in a video interview with The New American magazine that the camps are part of Democratic Gov. Jay Inslee's policy of contract tracing, which has been implemented by many states. He explained that the tracers visit people who may have been infected and advise them they can isolate at a center to protect other members of their household.
While the infected person may be asked to volunteer, the government makes it clear that people can be forcibly quarantined, Shea pointed out. He read a line from a form that local health officers are to present to someone who is infected. It says: "If you do not comply with this request for voluntary quarantine I may/will sign a detention order, enforced by the police, to ensure your compliance." (Read more)

1. Soros and Pandemic - IFA
Left-wing billionaire George Soros has indicated that the coronavirus pandemic paves the way for societal changes previously thought impossible, calling it "the crisis of my lifetime." Soros had lived through the Second World War as a youth.
"Even before the pandemic hit, I realized that we were in a revolutionary moment where what would be impossible or even inconceivable in normal times had become not only possible, but probably absolutely necessary," he said during an interview on May 11. . . .
2. What do vaccines contain? - IFA
While news reports have said we are still a year to a year and a half away from the release of the coronavirus vaccine, we know that they are working hard to roll one out. Once it is released, the CDC, Dr. Fauci and Bill Gates have said they want to make it mandatory for everyone living in America and around the world.
Why is that a problem?
First, the vaccine is untried and untested. We have no idea the long-term consequences, if any, of the new COVID19 pharmaceutical cocktail.
We also do not know what is really in it.
We know that the majority of vaccines contain aluminum and formaldehyde, both which are toxic to the human body. Also aborted fetal tissue-both male (MRC-5) and female (WI-38) DNA is in Hep A and B, Shingles, Varicella, MMR and MMRV vaccines. (Could that be in part the cause of all the gender identity confusion as DNA from both genders has been injected into us and our children?)
A new cell line from a 3-month old aborted fetus (Walvax-2), has been developed in Wuhan, China to create new vaccines. Will any of these cells be included in the vaccine?
And what else?
In recent interviews, Gates has been discussing his role and ongoing partnership with the Rockefeller Foundation. Together they are behind ID2020. This is a think tank organization that has proposed digital ID's for every citizen. About eight weeks ago, I read two interviews Gates had given discussing his plan to include digital ID, tracking, banking information, etc into the new vaccines. However, the backlash against his statements was swift. Almost immediately those interviews disappeared from the internet.
Simultaneously, news articles from liberal media sources began popping up in large numbers declared it a "conspiracy theory." But I had read those articles personally and was shocked at Gate's open admission.
3. We Cannot Afford to Just "Follow Orders" - IFA
A new twist in the COVID-19 narrative is a mandate some medical facilities are beginning to implement that requires all patients to be tested with the most invasive COVID-19 test before elective medical procedures will be performed.
A friend was scheduled for an elective surgical procedure in Tennessee. She received a call from her doctor's office three days prior and was told that her procedure could not be performed unless she was first tested for the virus. Additionally, she was informed that once the vaccine is released, medical procedures would be withheld until patients receive the vaccine.
Although the medical professional said she "personally disagreed" with the new "law," the medical facility had "no choice" but to comply, as it was coming down from the "top." "This decision is not coming from the hospital," my friend was told.
So where was this massive overreach actually coming from? The nurse said "the top" so that is where I started. . .
. . . Here's where some of our leaders want this to take us: Once someone tests positive (real or not), their names are then added to a list in which they will be checked regularly by "contact investigators." This is a new position that would be created by a partisan bill (HR6666) to keep track of and monitor people who test positive with the virus. The investigators could also begin to monitor any people who have been in contact with someone who tests positive. It may become very far reaching. A health director in California let it slip that investigators may recommend removal from your home if they feel you are a danger to other members of your household! These possibilities depend on state and local laws, as well as federal law. Concerned yet? Is mandatory testing trying to protect the medical personnel, stop further spread of the virus, or is it really a means of keeping track of us?

5. Snitch has police sent to a home because of Zoom call - WND
There's really nothing worse than neighbors ratting out neighbors. But that's what Democrats are urging citizens to do across the country. And more often than not innocent Americans are getting caught in the cross-hairs. Months ago, plans were made for a celebration of united praise called March for Jesus, inviting and involving Christians from the entire body of Christ to an open procession of celebratory worship and prayer glorifying Jesus Christ on May 30, 2020, in communities across America.
Since the Covid-19 crisis has brought different kinds of restrictions upon mass gatherings, plans have been modified for May 30th of 2020. Instead of large processions, we are encouraging smaller groups, as small as two or three, to scatter in their communities praising and praying as they walk, drive or even stand in their homes or their front yards. We've called this format of praise and prayer a "PraiseWalk," after the well-known idea of prayer walking, which is simply praying near the very places we expect to see God answer our prayers. The PraiseWalk model highlights praise and thanksgiving but also encourages participants to pray for Christ's blessing upon the people, families, schools, businesses, and government leaders of their communities. . . .
Following the words of Philippians 2, we are inviting all participating Christians to unite in a gesture and confession of faith at exactly 12 noon in their time zone. We are encouraging participants to kneel in place, raising their hands and audibly proclaiming, "Jesus Christ is Lord." And then to remain in that posture for a few moments to praise the Savior and to pray His blessing upon the community.
"That at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." - Philippians 2:10-11
