In Support of President Donald John Trump:

We prayed:
"Lord Jesus, we stand for this man and want him to be reelected. Tonight, we lift one voice to declare his protection and reelection!"

1King of Morocco Visits Ancient Synagogue, Praised by Jews for Promoting Peace, Awarded Torah and Quran - United With Israel

Morocco's King Mohammed VI participated in the inauguration of the refurbished 19th century Bayt Dakira (House of Memory and History) synagogue in Essaouira, Wednesday. He was praised for promoting peace and coexistence, especially in light of growing anti-Semitism worldwide.

André Azoulay, the king's councilor and President of the Essaouira-Mogador Association, spoke for the Moroccan Jewish community. "This historic day bears the hallmark of our secular and millennial Morocco which has known how to protect the great diversity which is the central wealth of our country," he said while addressing the king, Middle East Online (MEO) reported.

"This house is the house of memories and history. It is also the Moroccan compass that the world needs today, a world in search of landmarks, a world that turns its back on those values that are those of our country under the leadership of King HM, the Commander of the Faithful," added Azoulay.

2. Massive Gathering of Kings in Jerusalem on Thursday: A Realization of Psalms 48- Breaking Israel News
On Thursday, Jerusalem's role as a gathering place for kings will appear. The event commemorates the Holocaust but one rabbi sees it as a decisive moment in which the nations will choose which side they will fight for in the final battle between Good and Evil.

The Fifth World Holocaust Forum called "Remembering the Holocaust, Fighting Antisemitism," organized by the World Holocaust Forum Foundation in cooperation with Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center, will take place on 23 January 2020 at the museum's Warsaw Ghetto Square in Jerusalem. The event marks the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp and International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

The list of world leaders attending is quite impressive. At least 47 world leaders, including 26 presidents, four kings (from Spain, Holland, Belgium and Luxembourg), and four prime ministers will represent their countries that include the U.S., Russia, England, Romania, Italy, Austria, Greece, Cyprus, Albania, Croatia, Georgia, Bulgaria, Sweden, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Finland, Bosnia, Iceland, Armenia, Australia, Canada, and several others.

3. CLUSTER OF EXPLOSIVE DEVICES LAND NEAR JERUSALEM- Jerusalem Post
Just days before dozens of world leaders are expected to gather in Jerusalem, a cluster of explosive balloons landed close the capital. They were dismantled by Israel Police bomb disposal experts.

The incident on Monday, in the area of Mesilat Tzion near the city of Beit Shemesh, caused no damage or injuries, and comes after several other clusters landed in communities in southern Israel over the weekend.

On Sunday, the Israeli military fired a shell toward a Hamas post along the Gaza border fence in response to the launching of an explosive balloon cluster from the blockaded coastal enclave, which had detonated over the college town of Sderot.

On Saturday, a cluster of incendiary balloons was found in Sderot, and on Friday, several balloons with explosive devices attached to them were found along Ashdod's promenade. The beaches were closed off by the police until sappers had dismantled the devices to prevent danger to the public.

4. ISRAEL, UNITED KINGDOM BUILDING 'NEW STRATEGIC RELATIONSHIP' - Jerusalem Post
Israel and the United Kingdom are building a "new strategic relationship" driven by soaring bilateral trade and deepening ties in various sectors, according to a new report.

The increasing strength of the relationship, the report by the Britain Israel Communications and Research Centre (BICOM) states, is symbolized by soaring bilateral trade between the countries. Trade increased by 72% from $6.1 billion in 2012 to $10.5b. in 2018, and the UK now represents Israel's third largest export market, surpassed only by the United States and China.

The Brexit referendum and ensuing uncertainty has seemingly not dampened the trading spirit, with Israel becoming the first country to sign a post-Brexit continuity trade agreement with the UK.

5. Jordan's parliament votes to cancel Israel-Jordan gas deal -World Israel News

The Jordanian parliament has voted in favor of a law to ban gas imports from Israel, reported AFP on Sunday.

According to the report, in order to become law, the motion needs to be sent for approval to the government, which in turn must send it back to the legislature for a formal vote.

"The majority has voted to send an urgent motion to the government requesting a law banning Israeli gas imports to Jordan," parliamentary speaker Atef Tarawneh said, as cited by AFP.

On Friday, thousands of Jordanians took to the streets of Amman, the Jordanian capital, to demonstrate against the "shameful" $10 billion dollar gas deal signed between Jordan and Israel, Quds Pressreported.

1. VA State Senator Goes Public 72 Hours Before Rally: 'We Are Being Set Up' - Western Journal

A Virginia state senator has sounded a warning bell three days before a massive rally is set to coalesce in the commonwealth's capital.

Conservative Sen. Amanda Chase of District 11 took to Facebook on Friday with a warning for every patriot who plans to attend the pro-Second Amendment rally Monday in Richmond.

Her warning came the same week that Democratic Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam issued an executive order temporarily banning firearms in the Capitol Square. "Sadly, I am posting this, knowing that the Governor of Virginia has declared a State of Emergency in our state," Chase wrote. "I want you to be aware of how we are being set up."

"Does the Patriot Act ring a bell? Does the National Defense Authorization Act ring a bell?" Chase argued that these laws could be used to label pro-Second Amendment activists as "domestic terrorist[s]."

Specifically, she warned those who are planning to attend wearing military fatigues or rocking militia insignia. (Read more)

- Father, we take authority in the Name of Jesus Christ over any and all plans of the enemy to sabotage Monday's rally. We bind hate, lies, plots, fear, and anything else which could cause violence. We declare Your Word to be true over this rally and say NO to the workings of the enemy.

"Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over allthe power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." (Luke 10:19)

2. Washington Post Presents Virginia Gun Rally as Charlottesville 2.0 - Breitbart

The Washington Post is previewing the January 20, Virginia gun rights rally in a way that suggests a Charlottesville 2.0.

The rally, organized by the Virginia Citizens Defense League (VCDL), is structured as Lobby Day; the day on which pro-Second Amendment citizens show up to support gun rights. VCDL's Philip Van Cleave told CNN his group has been coming to the state Capitol every January 20 since 2003 without incident.

This year took a new turn when Gov. Ralph Northam (D) voiced concerns over so-called "violent rhetoric" and put a gun ban in place to guarantee the pro-Second Amendment citizens in attendance cannot be armed.

The Post reports on various self-declared militia members who are coming in from other states to attend the rally, and they note the militia members who pledged to never return to Charlottesville while armed made no such pledge regarding Richmond, the location of Monday's rally.

The Post also reports that the "FBI arrested three alleged members of a white-supremacist group on gun charges" Thursday, and that "they planned to attend the Richmond rally and incite violence."

Northam is asking all "nonessential staff to stay home, and many lawmakers urged aides to stay away, though committees will still meet and both chambers will convene floor sessions." Virginia Senate and House pages "were given the day off for safety." (Read more)

- Lord, we lift the media, and this situation before You. The manipulation of events and people simply by the hysterical way things are reported needs to cease. The governor's excuse is for "violent rhetoric," but he refuses to give a briefing to Republicans on what that intelligence actually showed.

"There is no wisdom or understanding or counsel against the Lord." (Proverbs 21:30)

3. John Roberts may be leading the Senate impeachment trial, but this woman is shaping it - Politico

In a small Capitol Hill office after President Donald Trump had been impeached and official Washington bolted town for the holidays, a three-person team gathered to dig through musty old law books and congressional records.

The Senate parliamentarian, Elizabeth MacDonough, and her aides were scrambling to prepare for an event with little precedent in American history - the impeachment trial of a U.S. president. In just a few weeks, they would have to advise Chief Justice John Roberts on how to run that trial and address a slew of arcane procedural questions that few - if any - had ever been asked. Their answers, they knew, could influence how the historic event unfolded.

- Lord, we ask that YOU drive all the arguments and responses during this impeachment trial. Let no deception reign over the proceedings, nor lies be allowed to enter.

"Let those be put to shame and brought to dishonor who seek after my life."
(Psalm 35:4a)

4. Dershowitz: Trump impeachment acquittal would 'make me unhappy as an individual' -Times of Israel

Famed legal scholar Alan Dershowitz on Saturday said the acquittal of Donald Trump by the Senate would make him personally unhappy, but that he opposed the impeachment of the US president on constitutional grounds.

A day after being announced as a new member of Trump's legal team, Dershowitz also said he would not vote for the US president in the November election, despite defending him at the impeachment trial. (Read more)

- Lord, Alan Dershowitz is not part of a safe legal team for President Trump. We bind his personal viewpoint from the impeachment proceedings, and loose ONLY Your will into them.

"The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord laughs at him for He sees that his day is coming." (Psalm 37:12,13)

5. Doug Collins: House Democratic leader's remark about letting Trump 'prove innocence' should alarm Americans - Fox News

House Judiciary Committee ranking member Doug Collins, R-Ga., said Democrats are exposing their true contempt for the Constitution and the individual rights therein with how they are conducting the impeachment of President Trump.

In an interview airing Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on "Life, Liberty & Levin," Collins said Trump was overtly denied the same due process afforded to every other American under the Constitution, adding that House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., made an alarming statement to that effect.

Hoyer, the number-two Democrat in the House, defended the House's impeachment inquiry last month by remarking that Trump was afforded "every opportunity to prove his innocence."

"Instead, he ignored Congressional subpoenas for documents and for testimony by White House officials and ordered his subordinates not to cooperate. This itself is unprecedented," Hoyer claimed.

Collins told host Mark Levin that no American has to prove their innocence -- in fact, the burden of proof falls on the opposite party. (Read more)

- Father, our system of jurisprudence demands that all people be "innocent until proven guilty." The Democrats have been attempting to turn that backwards. We declare that You will raise Your Standard against them!

"When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against them." (Isaiah 59:19c)

6. Not Just Hunter: Widespread Biden Family Profiteering Exposed
 - Zero Hedge
Clinton Cash author Peter Schweizer is out with a new book, "Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America's Progressive Elite," in which he reveals that five members of the Biden family, including Hunter, got rich using former Vice President Joe Biden's "largesse, favorable access and powerful position."

While we know of Hunter's profitable exploits in Ukraine and China - largely in part thanks to Schweizer, Joe's brothers James and Frank, his sister Valerie, and his son-in-law Howard all used the former VP's status to enrich themselves.

Of course, Biden in 2019 said "I never talked with my son or my brother or anyone else - even distant family - about their business interests. Period." As Schweizer puts writes in the New York Post; "we shall see."

James Biden: Joe's younger brother James has been deeply involved in the lawmaker's rise since the early days - serving as his the finance chair of his 1972 Senate campaign. And when Joe became VP, James was a frequent guest at the White House - scoring invites to important state functions which often "dovetailed with his overseas business dealings," writes Schweizer. (Read more)

- Lord, the Biden family corruption is easy for all to see, but it appears that few Democrats are paying any attention. We pray that Your Will be done over this situation, and that all corruption be stopped.

"Let their table become a snare before them, and their well-being at trap."
(Psalm 69:22)

7. Elizabeth Warren Takes Credit for Sponsoring Bills She Voted Against - Free Beacon

Underperforming presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) has portrayed herself as a bipartisan dealmaker by taking credit for sponsoring bills she ultimately voted against.

"I do work with the other side," Warren said in October during a radio interview in New Hampshire. "I've gotten more than a dozen bills passed into law, and they've been bipartisan. And that's just been since Donald Trump has been elected president." A post on the "Fact Squad" section of Warren's campaign website similarly boasts that "Donald Trump has signed more than a dozen of Elizabeth's proposals into law" and lists 15 pieces of legislation Warren sponsored.

Three of the items included in that tally, however, are bills that Warren ultimately voted against. The Gambling Addiction Prevention Act, the Sexual Trauma Response And Treatment Act, and the National Guard Promotion Accountability Act all passed the Senate in August 2018 as part of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2019. Warren was one of only 10 senators who voted against the 2019 NDAA, along with fellow 2020 contenders Kamala Harris (RIP), Kirsten Gillibrand (RIP), and Bernie Sanders. (Read more)

- Lord, lies seem to be everywhere in this political realm. We ask for a mighty move of Your Spirit. We pray that all Christians would heed only Your Voice and not follow deception.

"If a ruler pays attention to lies, all his servants become wicked." (Proverbs 29:12)

8. ICE Escalates Fight With NYC's Sanctuary Laws, Slaps City With Subpoenas - Daily Caller
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) subpoenaed New York City for information on several illegal aliens, ratcheting up its fight with the city's sanctuary policies.
ICE issued four separate immigration subpoenas Friday with the New York Department of Corrections, the agency announced in a press release. While such an action is not common, ICE declared that it is forced to take this measure because the city's authorities refuse to cooperate with its agency.

"Like any law enforcement agency, we are used to modifying our tactics as criminals shift their strategies; but it's disheartening that we must change our practices and jump through so many hoops with partners who are restricted by sanctuary laws passed by politicians with a dangerous agenda," Henry Lucero, the acting deputy executive associate director for ICE's Enforcement and Removal Operations, said in a statement released Saturday. (Read more)

- Father, we pray that You will stop the insanity by New York politicians who do not seemingly value the rule of law nor the safety of their constituents.

"The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth." (Psalm 34:16)

9. Trump Asks Supreme Court To Allow Plan Restricting Green Cards For Benefit-Dependent Immigrants - Daily Caller

The Trump administration is asking the Supreme Court for permission to enforce a new rule that allows authorities to consider a foreign national's reliance on government benefits when deciding whether to give them a green card.

The Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) provides that aliens should not be admitted if they are "likely at any time to become a public charge." In the past, the government defined a "public charge" as a person primarily dependent on a cash assistance program, but the Trump administration expanded that definition in August 2019 to include people who use Medicaid, housing benefits or food stamps for a period of months. (Read more)

- Lord, this immigration fight has been exceedingly expensive for the taxpayers. We pray for fair and balance ruling on this issue at the Supreme Court.

"A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is His delight." (Proverbs 11:1)

10. Breaking: Trump team calls impeachment 'dangerous perversion of the Constitution' in lengthy filing - Fox News

President Trump's legal team called the House's impeachment case "flimsy" and a "dangerous perversion of the Constitution" in a trial memo filed Monday morning ahead of this week's arguments to be heard on the Senate floor.

The 110-page filing claimed that the two articles of impeachment - abuse of power and obstruction of Congress - do not amount to impeachable offenses, and that the Democrat-led House inquiry was not a quest for the truth.

"Instead, House Democrats were determined from the outset to find some way - any way - to corrupt the extraordinary power of impeachment for use as a political tool to overturn the result of the 2016 election and to interfere in the 2020 election," Trump's filing said. "All of that is a dangerous perversion of the Constitution that the Senate should swiftly and roundly condemn." (Read more)

- Father God, as we set our hearts to intercede for the truth to prevail in the upcoming Senate trial, we entrust this matter fully into Your hands, O God. We pray that President Donald John Trump be found fully innocent of the charges being brought against him. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

"For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory." (Deuteronomy 20:4)

11. McConnell lays out rules for Trump's Senate trial, allowing for vote on witnesses, documents - NBCNews

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., will allot each side a total of 24 hours to present their arguments in President Donald Trump's impeachment trial, but the time must be confined to two working days, according to the text of his organizing resolution, which NBC News obtained Monday.

The proposal also suggests that none of the evidence collected as part of the House's impeachment inquiry will be automatically admitted. Instead, according to the text, the Senate will vote later in the process on whether to admit any documents.

Arguments will begin Wednesday at 1 p.m., according to the rules McConnell laid out, setting up several long days for Senate jurors. Democrats protested that the rules would push arguments to late hours and make it harder to introduce evidence, although the rules do also allow a vote on whether witnesses will be called to testify. (Read more)

- Father, we lay all of this at Your feet, praying "Thy Kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven." (Matthew 6:10) In Jesus' Name, amen.

A Victory in Richmond

1. Huge Va. Gun Rally That Raised Alarm Ends Peacefully

Thousands of gun-rights activists from around the country rallied peacefully at the Virginia Capitol on Monday, protesting plans by the state's Democratic leadership to pass gun-control legislation that have become a key flash point in the national debate over gun violence. The size of the crowd and the expected participation of white supremacists and fringe militia groups raised fears that the state could see a repeat of the violence that exploded in 2017 in Charlottesville. But the rally concluded uneventfully around noon, and the mood was largely festive, with rally-goers chanting "USA!" and waving signs denouncing Democratic Gov. Ralph Northam. Many protesters chose not to enter the designated rally zone, where Northam had instituted a temporary weapons ban, and instead packed the surrounding streets, many dressed in tactical gear and camouflage and carrying military-style rifles as they cheered on the speakers.

"I love this. This is like the Super Bowl for the Second Amendment right here," said P.J. Hudson, a truck driver from Richmond who carried an AR-15 rifle just outside Capitol Square. He was one of the few African-American rally goers in the crowd that was overwhelmingly white and male, and frequently was stopped and asked to pose for pictures wearing his "Black Guns Matter" sweatshirt. Authorities said that as of 1:40 p.m., there had been no reports of arrests or injuries. The Richmond protesters came out in the thousands despite the frigid temperature to send a message to legislators, they said. "The government doesn't run us, we run the government," said Kem Regik, a 20-year-old private security officer from northern Virginia who brought a white flag with a picture of a rifle captioned, "Come and take it."

Some of the protesters waved flags with messages of support for President Donald Trump. Trump, in turn, tweeted support for their goals. "The Democrat Party in the Great Commonwealth of Virginia are working hard to take away your 2nd Amendment rights," he tweeted. "This is just the beginning. Don't let it happen, VOTE REPUBLICAN in 2020! (Newsmax) Read more.

2. Virginia Sheriff Proclaims Proposed Gun Control Laws 'Will Not Be Enforced'

The Democrats now in charge of making laws in Virginia might want to take a moment to talk to the men and women who enforce them. And if that conversation includes lawmen like Grayson County Sheriff Richard Vaughan, it just might open a few eyes.

Vaughan was one of thousands of pro-Second Amendment demonstrators on hand in the Old Dominion capital of Richmond on Monday to protest against proposed laws infringing on gun rights - but he was far from the usual protester.

As the chief law enforcement officer of a county far to the west of Richmond's Capitol Square, Vaughan has a perspective not many in the crowd could share.

He would be in charge of enforcing the new laws in his jurisdiction - and from what Vaughan told reporters Monday, that wasn't going to happen.

"If the bills go through as proposed, they will not be enforced. They're unconstitutional," Vaughan told Benny Johnson, chief creative officer of the conservative group Turning Point USA.

"We swore to uphold the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of Virginia, and that's what we'll do," he said.

Vaughan didn't specify what bills he was referring to, but there has been plenty of anti-gun action in Richmond already. (Western Journal) Read more

- Father God, we do praise You for the miracle that took place yesterday in Virginia's state capital. We knew that the danger to the safety of our citizens was real, and we sought Your Face for deliverance.

Abba Father God . . . no matter how You brought us this great victory of PEACE IN THE CITY, we give You all the honor for answered prayer. In the Name of Jesus we offer this praise, amen.

"Nothing is too difficult for Thee!" (Jeremiah 32:17)

Prayers for the Persecuted Church

"Remember the prisoners, as though in prison with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you yourselves also are in the body." (Hebrews 13:3)

North Korean Christian Martyr: 'Even If I Die, I Do Not Have Any Regrets'

Her name isn't Hae Woo, but-like a lot of traumatized North Koreans-she doesn't want to take any chances. "I'm a believer," she says, "because of my husband, because of the things he told me and my children about Jesus. 'You cannot see Him,' he would say, 'but He is alive and working.'"

That became harder to believe when he was taken from them, locked away in a prison where he would die.

"The torture he went through was so gruesome that it is unimaginable," she says. Every single day, the guard would come and punish him for his faith, "with blood," she explains quietly, "everywhere."

But "even in the midst of these horrible tortures, he had compassion for those who did not know about Jesus Christ," Hae Woo remembers.

"He went into the prison walking, but after all the torture, he was dragged loose on the ground. Although his body was all torn apart, he handed the last pieces of rotten corn that he had to his prison mates. He spread the Gospel to the inmates.

"He prayed for the sick, [and] as he continued the good work, God built an underground church in the prison through my husband." (Daily Signal) Read more.

- Father, we pray Your comfort for this man's family. Let them seek Your Face even deeper, and give them strength and the Gift of Faith.

VICTORY IN JESUS!

"But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." (1 Corinthians 15:57)

Lyrics
I heard an old, old story
How a Savior came from glory
How He gave His life on Calvary
To save a wretch like me
I heard about His groaning
Of His precious blood's atoning
Then I repented of my sins
And won the victory.

Refrain:
O victory in Jesus,
My Savior, forever.
He sought me and bought me
With His redeeming blood;
He loved me ere I knew Him,
And all my love is due Him,
He plunged me to victory,
Beneath the cleansing flood

I heard about His healing,
Of His cleansing power revealing.
How He made the lame to walk again
And caused the blind to see;
And then I cried, "Dear Jesus,
Come and heal my broken spirit,"
And somehow Jesus came and brought
To me the victory.

Refrain

I heard about a mansion
He has built for me in glory.
And I heard about the streets of gold
Beyond the crystal sea;
About the angels singing,
And the old redemption story,
And some sweet day I'll sing up there
The song of victory.

Massive winter storm packing 'heavy' snow targets Upper Midwest, Great Lakes and Northeast

A massive winter storm that halted all flights in and out of Chicago's O'Hare airport for hours was expected to produce moderate to heavy snow and dangerous travel conditions over much of the Upper Midwest, Great Lakes and Northeast into Sunday.

The National Weather Service warned of a "widespread footprint of heavy snows" up to a foot as the storm spread into central and northern New England.

"This storm has the potential to produce widespread hazardous conditions across much of the northeastern quarter of the nation over the next day and a half," the weather service said.

. . . In Chicago, the Federal Aviation Administration lifted the flight stoppage at O'Hare on Friday night, but not before hundreds of flights were canceled at one of the nation's busiest airports.

At 9 p.m., the Chicago Department of Aviation reported nearly 690 flights had been canceled at O'Hare, with 169 flights canceled at Midway, the city's other international airport. A winter weather advisory was issued for the Chicago area through early Saturday, with 2 to 5 inches of snow expected.
