1. Launching campaign, Netanyahu vows to annex all settlements 'without exception' - Times Of Israel
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday vowed to annex not only the Jordan Valley if he wins the upcoming elections, but also all the Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
The comments in a speech launching his Likud party's election campaign, came hours after Netanyahu's main rival, centrist leader Benny Gantz, promised to apply Israeli sovereignty over the Jordan Valley. Addressing a mostly young crowd of enthusiastic supporters at Jerusalem's International Convention Center, Netanyahu said his government would "immediately" extend Israeli sovereignty over all West Bank settlements "without exception."
2. Gantz vows to annex Jordan Valley 'in coordination with international communtiy' - Times Of Israel
Blue and White chairman Benny Gantz vowed on Tuesday to annex the Jordan Valley "in coordination with the international community" if he wins the upcoming election.
In what appeared to be the top centrist lawmaker's latest effort to cater to right-leaning voters, Gantz, during a visit to what he referred to as "Israel's eastern protective wall," said the area making up roughly 20 percent of the West Bank would remain part of the Jewish state in any future peace agreement and that previous governments that had been willing to negotiate over the strategic region had been mistaken.
But right-wing officials and settler leaders largely scoffed at Gantz's pledge. Suggesting that it was nothing more than a bluff, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu urged the Blue and White leader not to wait until after the election, but rather support the measure if it is brought before the Knesset for a vote in the coming weeks.
3. BREAKING! Turkey deploys 2,000 troops to Libya to Reestablish Muslim Caliphate with Jerusalem as Capital - Breaking Israel News
A new military incursion into Libya is part of a long-awaited dream by Turkish President Erdogan to return the Ottoman Caliphate, a global Islamic rule that subjugated Jews and Christians for six centuries.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported on Monday that Turkish-backed Syrian mercenaries have begun arriving in Libya. Approximately 2,400 troops are already in Tripoli while another 1,700 are currently undergoing training in Turkey. Activists informed the SOHR that Turkey intends to send a total of 6,000 troops to Libya.
Turkey is backing the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) in its fight against the eastern-based Libyan National Army led by General Khalifa Haftar and backed by Russia. The GNA is supported by Egypt and Saudi Arabia. The GNA also receives air support from the United Arab Emirates.
Until now, the role of the Turkish military has been limited to 35 military personnel involved solely in training and advisory roles. The new Syrian troops are mercenaries, hired from rebel groups opposing Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. The Turkish government will pay each soldier a monthly stipend of $2,000, far more than the $50 they earned to fight back home in Syria. The Syrian troops are also fighting against the Kurds in Libya.
4. Netanyahu Demands International Sanctions Against International Criminal Court - Jewish Press
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Matt Crouch from TBN, the largest Christian Network in the world, in an interview to be broadcast Tuesday night, that the world must unite in sanctioning the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, which is mulling war crime charges against Israel over its possession of the liberated territories of Judea and Samaria and its rule over the local Arabs.
"The US government under President Trump has spoken forcefully against the ICC for this travesty, and I urge all your viewers to do the same," Netanyahu told Crouch. "To ask for concrete actions, sanction against the international court, its officials, prosecutors, everyone. They're basically in a full frontal attack on the democracies, both on the democracies' right to defend themselves, and on Israel's right, the Jewish people's right, to live in their ancestral homeland, the Land of Israel."
Referring to the Holocaust, Netanyahu said: "A third of the Jewish people went up in flames. There was nothing we could do. Now, after the Holocaust and the State of Israel was established, the attempts to destroy the Jewish people have not disappeared. Iran openly declares every day that it wants to wipe Israel off the face of the earth."
5. 3 Gaza terrorists killed after throwing explosive at IDF soldiers - Israel National News
Three Arabs crossed the Gaza perimeter fence Tuesday night and infiltrated Israeli territory in Kibbutz Kissufim. The three tried to throw an explosive or grenade at the soldiers, but the soldiers identified them, opened fire, and killed all three attackers.
Last week, IDF forces identified an armed terrorist who was approaching the perimeter fence in the southern Gaza Strip. The IDF reported that the terrorist was identified by watchdogs from the Gaza Division's collecting squad who identified him as approaching with weapons.

The Daily Brief
1. McConnell considers 'kill switch' option at Trump impeachment trial: report- Fox News
GOP senators considering 'kill switch' option should impeachment trial spiral out of control. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell reportedly is close to finalizing a rule that would allow President Trump's team to move to dismiss the articles of impeachment in the Senate quickly after some evidence has been presented, as a sort of safety valve in case Democrats try to drag out the trial for weeks.
The discussions came as Texas GOP Sen. Ted Cruz told Fox News' "Sunday Morning Futures" that the trial could extend "to six to eight weeks or even longer" if the Senate decided to hear from additional witnesses -- a prospect that could interfere with the imminent presidential primary contests, as Sens. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., likely would get pulled off the campaign trail. (Read more)
- Thank you Father for leading and guiding this impeachment situation in the Senate. We ask You to give Senator McConnell and his team Godly wisdom to prepare the form and function that will be followed, and we pray that You reveal the truth and nothing can remain hidden by any person involved in any way. In Jesus' name.
- "So have no fear of them, for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known." (Matthew 10:26 ESV)
2. Read the full text: McConnell's revised rules for Trump's Senate impeachment trial - CBS News
The new version of Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's organizing resolution, read aloud on the Senate floor Tuesday, now gives both side 24 hours to make their case over three days, instead of the two initially proposed by McConnell on Monday.
The Kentucky Republican also tweaked another controversial provision that could have barred all the evidence against Trump gathered by the House Democrats' inquiry from being entered into the Senate record.
Under the resolution unveiled Tuesday, evidence now will be admitted automatically unless there's an objection, rather than requiring a pro-active vote to admit it. (Read more)
- Jesus, let every nuance of this trial be according to your plans and purposes. We ask that You undermine and repudiate everything that does not stand in righteousness, justice and truth. We ask You to show Yourself strong and holy in this matter.
- "By Myself I have sworn; from My mouth has gone out in righteousness a word that shall not return: To Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear allegiance." (Isaiah 45:23 ESV)
3. Schiff and Dershowitz spar over whether abuse of power is impeachable offense - Fox News
Adam Schiff, D-Calif., the lead impeachment manager, and Alan Dershowitz, a member of President Trump's legal team, clashed in opposing interviews on Sunday over whether the president can be impeached for abuse of power.
To support his argument, Dershowitz referenced the impeachment trial of President Andrew Johnson, where Justice Benjamin Curtis - who defended the president - said that proof of a crime was necessary to remove a sitting president from office. Johnson was eventually acquitted during his Senate trial.
Dershowitz went on to argue that the Founding Fathers were concerned about giving Congress too much power and that impeachment could be used as a political tool in the partisan infighting of politics. "You can't charge a president with impeachable conduct if it doesn't fit within the criteria for the Constitution," Dershowitz said. (Read more)
- Do not let the members of President Trump's legal team be caught in the snares being laid by the Democrats who intend to destroy our President and remove him. Let the attorneys and Senators be eagle-eye focused on the target and cut clearly through the Gordian knot of deception that has been spun. It is time for all corruption and evil to be lanced, exposed and cleansed by the blood of Jesus and the Word of God.
- "Then the Lord saw it, and it displeased Him (Heb. was evil in His eyes) That there was no justice," (Isaiah 59:15b)
4. White House appoints GOP House members to advise Trump's impeachment team - The Hill
The White House announced Monday that President Trump appointed several prominent Republican House members to advise his impeachment defense team ahead of the Senate trial set to begin this week.
GOP Reps. Jim Jordan (Ohio), John Ratcliffe Texas), Mike Johnson (La.), Mark Meadows (N.C.), Debbie Lesko (Ariz.), Lee Zeldin (N.Y.), Elise Stefanik (N.Y.) and Doug Collins are set to play leading roles.
A statement from the White House said the lawmakers "have provided guidance to the White House team, which was prohibited from participating in the proceedings concocted by Democrats in the House of Representatives" throughout the House proceedings and would continue to do so in the Senate. (Read more)
- Father, thank You for these team members who are wise, cogent and willing to stand up on point for the truth. Let their experience and understanding bring Your light to the table and may all opposition to this team from the House of representatives be dispelled. We know that You speak righteousness and declare things that are right (Isaiah 45:19) so we trust, that as we pray, Your words will be released.
- ". . . they raised their voice to God with one accord and said: . . . 'Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word,'" (Acts 4:24a, 29)
5. In Senate impeachment trial, will Chuck Schumer dare live by his own words? - The New York Post
As the Senate begins the impeachment trial of President Trump, it faces the challenge not just of weighing the charges, but of trying to rescue the entire process from the low political farce that the House has made of it.
"This is very, very serious stuff," Chuck Schumer told reporters after Chief Justice John Roberts swore in senators for the impeachment trial that begins Tuesday. Will the Senate minority leader truly play it that way? Most of Schumer's party wants him to play it as partisan as Pelosi. Will he simply ignore what he wrote in 1999, a day before the Senate vote in President Bill Clinton's trial?
Schumer implored his colleagues to "shake hands and say we are now going to forgo bringing down people for political gain." More: "What Bill Clinton did was wrong and arrogant . . . We are all angered," he wrote. But with no "popular groundswell to remove him" nor sufficient magnitude in "the wrongs he's committed," Schumer was "shaken" that people "with such obvious political motives could use our courts, play the media and tantalize the legislative branch to achieve their ends of bringing down the President." (Read more)
- Dear Lord, we do indeed pray that You would bring Senator Schumer's own words to his remembrance and bring conviction upon him to live and vote by them. We bind up a lying spirit in the name of Jesus and declare that the Senate will find President Trump entirely innocent of the weak and false charges against him. We bring the plumbline of truth into the Senate and bind the works of the enemy.
- "For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth." (Micah 6:12)
6. Trump touts "thriving" U.S., rejects warnings from "prophets of doom" at Davos forum- CBS
The president used his opening speech to take credit, as "the United States is in the midst of an economic boom the likes of which the world has never seen before."
"America is thriving, America is flourishing and yes, America is winning again like never before," Mr Trump said, before lauding the trade deals his administration has reached with China and Canada and Mexico. He said America owed its economic advances to his administration's "whole new approach" which he said was focused on helping American workers, along with slashing taxes and regulations.
Mr. Trump told reporters he was looking forward to meeting fellow world leaders, and dismissed the trial in the U.S., as he often does, as "just a hoax," adding that it was "just disgraceful." White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham told CBS News that Mr. Trump would "certainly receive briefings" on the impeachment process. (Read more)
- We praise You, Lord, for this good report of economic growth and for the success of Trump's policies in this area. We thank You that You have worked through this President to bring financial success in many areas to our country and we humbly pray it will continue.
- "And keep the charge of the Lord your God: to walk in His ways, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn;" (1 Kings 2:3 )
7. Trump threatens to tariff European autos if EU trade talks fail - The Hill
President Trump on Tuesday renewed his threat to tariff European automobiles and parts if the U.S. and E.U. fail to reach a trade agreement.
"We expect to be able to make a deal with Europe and if they don't make a deal, we'll certainly give that very strong consideration," Trump told reporters in Davos, Switzerland at the World Economic Forum. "If we're unable to make a deal we will have to do something because we've been treated very badly as a country for many, many years on trade."
Trump did not specify when he would impose the tariffs, adding that "they know they have to do something, and if they're fair, we're not going to have a problem." (Read more)
- Heavenly Father, You, and You alone, know all of the "ins and outs" of this matter and what this fair trade agreement should contain. We intercede and ask You to guide all involved in brokering the deal. May the truth of the matters be clear, may no country be abused, and may the provisions of this agreement be founded on Your Golden Rule.
- "In everything do to others as you would have them do to you; for this is the law and the prophets." (Matthew 7:12)
8. REPORT: Mexicans battle Central Americans on way to USA - Associated Press
Hundreds of Central American migrants were stranded in a sort of no-man's land on the river border between Guatemala and Mexico after running up against lines of Mexican National Guard troops deployed to keep them from moving en masse into the country and on north toward the U.S.
The path forward was blocked Monday by Mexican troops with riot shields, and about 100 National Guard agents continued to form a barrier with anti-riot gear into the night. But a return home to impoverished and gang-plagued Honduras, where most of the migrants are from, was unthinkable. (Read more)
- Father God, we thank you that Mexico is cooperating with the U.S. by halting caravans hoping to cross our southern border. May the migrants realize that it is best to obey the laws. Abba, we join you in compassion for those who have lost their way-draw them to You and show them the way of escape from dismal, unsafe conditions to Your abundant life for each one. May Central American leaders seek Your face. May the church rise up in the power of the Holy Spirit.
- "Blessed is the nation whose God is The Lord!" (Psalm 33:12)
9. Iran MP Offers Reward for Killing Trump, U.S. Calls it 'Ridiculous'- Free Beacon
- An Iranian lawmaker offered a $3 million reward to anyone who killed U.S. President Donald Trump and said Iran could avoid threats if it had nuclear arms, ISNA news agency reported on Tuesday amid Tehran's latest standoff with Washington.
"On behalf of the people of Kerman province, we will pay a $3 million reward in cash to whoever kills Trump," lawmaker Ahmad Hamzeh told the 290-seat parliament, ISNA reported.
U.S. disarmament ambassador Robert Wood dismissed the reward as "ridiculous", telling reporters in Geneva it showed the "terrorist underpinnings" of Iran's establishment. (Read more)
- Father God, according to Psalm 2, You sit in the heavens and You laugh at Your enemies. We laugh with you, now, O Lord God Almighty, at this ridiculous offer, calling it null and void in Your name, amen.
- "The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed, saying,
3 "Let us break their chains and throw off their shackles."
4 The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them." (Psalm 2:2 - 4)
10. Trump promises to release plan for middle-class tax cut in 90 days - Washington Examiner
President Trump said he is crafting a middle-class tax cut that will be released soon and would go into effect if he's reelected and Republicans control Congress.
"We're talking a fairly substantial . . . middle-class tax cut that'll be subject to taking back the House and obviously keeping the Senate and keeping the White House," Trump told the Wall Street Journal during an interview at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. He did not give any details about the measure but said the administration would unveil it in 90 days.
The president also said before the 2018 midterm elections that he would work toward a middle-class tax cut in an effort to prop up congressional Republicans, but the GOP lost the House. (Read more)
- Thank You, Father God, that President Trump means what he says . . . and he says what he means. It is so comforting to live under the authority of President who keeps His word; hence, one whom we can trust.
- "All you need to say is simply 'Yes' or 'No'" (Matthew 5:37)

Prophetic implications of new Artificial Intelligence app
The US Constitution provides for the right to privacy in the Fourth Amendment which states: "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized." This protection is from the government. It is not a protection extended to you, for example, when you check "I agree to these terms and conditions" when using a private company's software. And herein is a most egregious privacy violation for the world, presenting a clear prophetic danger.
According to the New York Times, start-up company Clearview AI, has made an app that allows someone who has obtained your picture to quickly discover your name, address, and other personal information. Cnet.com writes: "The app, says the Times, works by comparing a photo to a database of more than 3 billion pictures that Clearview says it's scraped off Facebook, Venmo, YouTube and other sites. It then serves up matches, along with links to the sites where those database photos originally appeared. A name might easily be unearthed, and from there other info could be dug up online. The size of the Clearview database dwarfs others in use by law enforcement."
Think about this: The FBI's database, using passport and driver's license photos, is among the largest in law enforcement, with over 641 million images of US citizens-compared with 3 billion held by Clearview. Law enforcement is currently using the app for a host of crime fighting. Think about the power in this app. In the wrong hands, including some law enforcement as we have seen with the FBI, CIA, NSA and others who have used their information skills for nefarious intentions, this empowers mass surveillance. In the hands of any person, it can be used as a device for stalking, kidnapping, human trafficking and more. The Clearview app isn't currently available to the public, but the Times says police officers and Clearview investors think it will be in the future.
Those of us who watch for prophetic indicators see that this technology brings to mind just how Revelation 13:17 might be driven: "And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." There is a lot of technology in the marketplace that can accelerate the identification of people. This technology and its subsequent generations, however, could inform a worldwide system that tracks the very movements of individual lives, where the right of privacy is abolished, and in doing so, identifies, seeks out, and compels people to either take the mark or be among the souls of Revelation 20:4 "that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God." Something to think about in this fast-moving world of technology.
Intercessors’ Information: The Impeachment
A Brief "Who's Who" in the Senate Trial
Submitted by the The 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call and reprinted with permission.
Date: Tuesday, January 21, 2020
This afternoon, the Senate will be called to session and the court of impeachment will convene at 1 pm. US Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts will be presiding over the trial, as House Democrats begin presenting their case. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has declared that the Dems will "force votes" on both witnesses and documents, but that will depend on what is included in the resolution containing the framework for the trial, presented by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
We pray:
- For Chief Justice Roberts to be held in check by the Spirit of God as he presides over this trial. Let him only do and say that which is pleasing to God, not seeking man's approval, but what's right for our nation.
A two-thirds vote in the Senate is required to convict the President and remove him from office, something that's never happened before in US history. The Senate would need 67 votes to remove Trump from office. If all Democrats vote for conviction, at least 20 Republicans also must support unseating the President. So far, no Republicans have signaled they'd be willing to do that . . . but these GOP senators are considered "variables". Who might support the conviction. Let us pray for them by name today, as the Spirit leads us!
Senator Susan Collins, Maine - has tried to stay silent on the Ukraine saga, saying she needs to be a neutral juror. However she votes, it will scramble her already-tough 2020 reelection race. Pray.
Senator Lisa Murkowski, Alaska - in her third term, she is one of the most reliable independent Republicans. In December, she said she was "disturbed" to hear Majority Leader Mitch McConnell was coordinating with the Trump legal team, but she did back starting the trial without an agreement on whether witnesses will testify. Pray.
Senator Mitt Romney, Utah - former GOP presidential nominee - has criticized President Trump for "requesting foreign assistance to investigate a political rival." He's also backed Democrats in their call to hear from witnesses like former national security adviser John Bolton. Even so, Romney hasn't signaled how he'll vote on conviction. What he does during the trial will go a long way toward determining his own legacy. Pray.
Senator Lamar Alexander, Tennessee - his upcoming retirement puts him in the mix as a potential swing vote. He's an institutionalist (one who pays attention to history). His views on impeachment will be followed closely by party leadership and rank-and-file members. Pray.
Senator Cory Gardner, Colorado - one of the most vulnerable Senate Republicans running for reelection and may want to show independence from President Trump in increasingly Democratic Colorado. But voting to convict may be a step too far. Pray.
Senator Ben Sasse, Nebraska - a freshman Senator, he has been one of the few Senate Republicans to publicly challenge aspects of the Trump Presidency. He's moved closer to the President in recent months, though his vote in an impeachment trial remains up for grabs. Pray.
More than just these six Republicans would need to vote for President Trump to be removed from office. Whatever is said by these senators will be closely scrutinized, and will be indicators as to whether Republicans see a serious threat to the President - and to their own political futures.

PRAISE HIM!, PRAISE HIM!
"I will praise the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live." (Psalm 146:2)
Lyrics
Praise Him, praise Him-Jesus, our blessèd Redeemer,
Sing, O earth, His wonderful love proclaim.
Hail Him! hail Him! highest archangels in glory;
Strength and honor give to His holy name!
Like a shepherd, Jesus will guard His children,
In His arms He carries them all day long:
O ye saints that dwell on the mountain of Zion,
Praise Him, praise Him ever in joyful song.
Praise Him, praise Him-Jesus, our blessèd Redeemer,
For our sins He suffered, and bled, and died;
He our rock, our hope of eternal salvation,
Hail Him, hail Him, Jesus the Crucified.
Loving Savior, meekly enduring sorrow,
Crowned with thorns that cruelly pierced His brow;
Once for us rejected, despised and forsaken,
Prince of Glory, He is triumphant now.
Praise Him, praise Him-Jesus, our blessèd Redeemer,
Heav'nly portals loud with hosannas ring,
Jesus, Savior, reigneth forever and ever.
Crown Him! Crown Him-Prophet, and Priest, and King!
Death is vanquished! Tell it with joy, ye faithful.
Where is now thy victory, boasting grave?
Jesus lives! No longer thy portals are cheerless;
Jesus lives, the mighty and strong to save.

As virus spreads to more Chinese cities, WHO calls emergency meeting - Reuters
First case of deadly, contagious virus from China lands confirmed in US - Washington Examiner
BEIJING (Reuters) - An outbreak of a new coronavirus has spread to more Chinese cities, including the capital Beijing and Shanghai, authorities said on Monday, and a fourth case has been reported beyond China's borders.
China's National Health Commission confirmed that the virus, which causes a type of pneumonia, can pass from person-to-person, the official Xinhua News Agency said.
President Xi Jinping said curbing the outbreak and saving lives was a top priority as the number of patients more than tripled and a third person died.
Adding to the difficulties of containing it, hundreds of millions of Chinese will be traveling domestically and abroad during the Lunar New Year holiday that starts this week.
Authorities around the globe, including in the United States and many Asian countries, have stepped up screening of travelers from Wuhan, the central city where the virus was first discovered.
"Wuhan is a major hub and with travel being a huge part of the fast approaching Chinese New Year, the concern level must remain high. There is more to come from this outbreak," said Jeremy Farrar, a specialist in infectious disease epidemics and director of the Wellcome Trust global health charity. (Read more)

"We could hear the roar. It was like a thousand freight trains coming at us . . . We were going to die. If the Lord hadn't answered this next prayer, we would have had 30 seconds." - David Jeffery
(Mallacoota, Australia) - [Eternity News] David Jeffery, one of the "faces of Mallacoota" in recent bushfire coverage, is talking to Eternity amid the wreckage of his home town in the East Gippsland region of Victoria. But as neighbours drop by, whom he hasn't seen since their world "turned black" a week ago, his voice is bursting with relief-and hope.
"Forget about doom and gloom-there's too many great stories," says Jeffery, referring to the "miraculous events" that spared the lives of many in Mallacoota, including Jeffery and his neighbours. While he is truly devastated for those who lost lives or homes in his small beach town of only 1000, Jeffery is just blown away by all who were saved-including thousands of visiting holiday makers.
Jeffery, owner of the Wave Oasis B&B in Mallacoota, became the international face of Australia's bushfire crisis after being featured on BBC News and SkyNews, as well as the ABC, on January 1. Footage of Jeffery describing the narrow escape from the firewall bearing down from Mallacoota wharf, where thousands of people huddled for safety, has been shared all over the world. We are reading through the whole Word, from Genesis to Revelation, and beginning again in Genesis when finished. Our numbers of readers continues to grow over time.
For more information, about how you can join our ongoing Reading of the Scriptures, please send an email to: info@capitolhillprayer.org. EVERYONE'S WELCOME! [Note: we are reading from these versions of the Scripture: King James, New King James, New American Standard, and NIV.]
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word with with God, and the Word was God." (John 1:1)
