TODAY'S TOP STORY
Nearly 2 million households owe $15 billion in back rent as eviction moratorium expires

As many as 1.95 million households across America owed a collective $15 billion in back rent when a nationwide eviction moratorium expired this weekend, according to Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia estimates.

That number will reach 2 million by December, according to the report released Friday. In Pennsylvania, about 60,000 renter households will owe $412 million come August.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) made one final 30-day extension of the Emergency Rental Assistance Program through July 31. President Joe Biden’s administration said its “hands are tied” by the courts on the matter and any further relief must come from Congress itself.

“Given the recent spread of the delta variant, including among those Americans both most likely to face evictions and lacking vaccinations, President Biden would have strongly supported a decision by the CDC to further extend this eviction moratorium to protect renters at this moment of heightened vulnerability,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said in a news release. “Unfortunately, the Supreme Court has made clear that this option is no longer available.” (Just the News.com) Read more.

- Father God, we thank You that You are a God of mercy. As this moratorium has now
expired, we ask that You "make a way where there seemeth to be no way" for these seven million people. living in 2 million homes, to find shelter. If the government fails them, we ask for Your government to step in, encouraging churches and ministries across our great nation to extend help in time of need.

We come against the spirit of chaos that this crisis can trigger, binding it and loosing peace across the nation. Father, we trust You in all things. Thank You, O Lord, for hearing our prayer today on behalf of the truly needy in America. Amen and amen.

- "Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”
(Psalm 50:15)
FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Current calm in Judea and Samaria only surface deep - Israel Hayom

A recent mass arrest of Hamas terrorists in Judea and Samaria offers a glimpse into the deceptive nature of the ongoing quiet in the area and how hard the Gaze-based terror organization is working to disrupt the relative calm.

At any given time, Hamas is trying to establish dozens of terror cells, and only the determined efforts by Israel's security forces prevent these efforts from maturing into waves of shootings and bombings.

Earlier this month, the IDF and Shin Bet security agency announced the arrest of dozens of Hamas operatives in the village of Turmus Aya, north of Ramallah. Assisted by the Border Police, the arrest operation enabled Israel to break up a Hamas student cell at Birzeit University near Ramallah.

Some of those apprehended "were directly involved in terror activities, including money transfers, incitement and the organization of Hamas activities," the IDF said in a statement. The suspects were taken into custody for questioning. (Read more)

2. Demonstrators attack police, asylum seekers at south Tel Aviv protest- Jerusalem Post

A few hundred protesters were present at the demonstrations that were sparked by the assault of a woman in south Tel Aviv last month.

Some 10 people were arrested Sunday at a protest in south Tel Aviv following violent confrontations with law enforcement, Israel Police reported. During the clashes, protesters blocked roads and threw objects at officers, endangering them.A few hundred protesters were present at the demonstrations, according to Israeli media, who reported that the protests were sparked by the assault of a woman in the area last month. The attack was allegedly carried out by a man from Eritrea, according to Haaretz, also reporting that protesters chanted "death to the Sudanese," and that "the Hatikvah neighborhood is ours."  (Read more)

3. Israeli premier: Iran behind fatal strike on Israeli-managed ship in Arabian Sea - JNS

(August 1, 2021 / JNS) Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett blamed Iran on Sunday for the attack that left two dead on the Israeli-managed oil tanker in the Arabian Sea on Thursday night.

Speaking during the weekly Security Cabinet meeting, Bennett was quoted by Maariv as saying that while Iran is denying responsibility for the incident, “I state here absolutely: Iran is the one that carried out the attack on the ship.”

“The intelligence evidence for this is there and we expect the international system to make it clear to the Iranian regime that they have made a serious mistake,” said Bennett, who called the attack “cowardly” and “piratical.”  (Read more)

4. Israel to begin ‘widely’ administering Moderna COVID vaccine on Sunday - Jerusalem Post

Going forward, both Moderna and Pfizer vaccines will be given in Israel, the Health Ministry said.

Israel will launch its administering of the Moderna coronavirus vaccine on Sunday and begin “widely using” it among the Israeli population, the Health Ministry said on Friday.

The ministry had announced plans to begin allowing health funds to order and distribute the Moderna vaccine earlier in the month. On Friday, it elaborated on the protocol for the vaccine. (Read more)

5. Synagogues Defaced With Swastikas in Israeli Town of Bnei Brak, Suspect Caught on Camera - Algemeiner

In an extremely rare occurrence, a synagogue in the Israeli town of Bnei Brak was vandalized with swastikas over the weekend.

N12 reports that the vandalism took place the night of Friday-Saturday, with the vandal scrawling swastikas on two synagogues in the heavily Orthodox suburb of Tel Aviv.

In addition to the swastikas, pictures of Shira Banki, a young Israeli who was murdered by a religious extremist at the Jerusalem Pride Parade in 2015, were strewn across the floors of the synagogues.

On Sunday, a security camera image was released showing the suspect entering one of the synagogues, staying there for some time, and then emerging to make his escape. He appeared to be dressed as an Orthodox Jew. (Read more)

 1. 228 Republican lawmakers urge Supreme Court to overrule Roe v. Wade - TheHill

Scores of congressional Republicans on Thursday urged the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade next term when the justices review a restrictive Mississippi abortion law. The GOP lawmakers, 44 senators and 184 House members, argued in an amicus brief that the landmark 1973 decision in Roe and related rulings represent “a vise grip on abortion politics. Congress and the States have shown that they are ready and able to address the issue in ways that reflect Americans’ varying viewpoints and are grounded in the science of fetal development and maternal health,” wrote the lawmakers, who represent 40 states.

The Thursday filing comes after Mississippi’s attorney general urged the justices last week in a brief to overrule Roe when the justices review Mississippi’s ban on virtually all abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy.

On Thursday, Mississippi also received backing from a dozen Republican governors who asked the Supreme Court to eliminate federal abortion protections and instead allow states to regulate the procedure. (Read more)

- Almighty God, we pray You move by Your power to overturn Roe v. Wade in all 50 states in America and stop the killing of innocent lives in the womb.  This will end the act of murder by the doctors and will stop the sin of mothers of the unborn being heartless toward their child.  We pray in the Name of Jesus.

- "We lie down in our shame, and our confusion covers us: for we have sinned against the Lord our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God." (Jeremiah 3:25)

2. House passes spending bills that don't ban taxpayer funding of abortion, omit pro-life measures - Christian Post

The Democrat-led U.S. House of Representatives approved spending bills that did not include prohibitions on the use of taxpayer funds to pay for abortions, drawing criticism from pro-life activists.

The House voted Thursday to advance an appropriations bill for the Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services and Education and related agencies ahead of the fiscal year 2022, scheduled to begin on Oct. 1.

This year, the appropriation did not include the Hyde Amendment and other long-standing, bipartisan measures to prevent federal tax dollars from funding abortions.

Thursday’s vote comes two weeks after the House Subcommittee on Labor, Health, Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies voted to advance the spending bill. Democrats on the influential House Appropriations Committee blocked an effort by Republicans to restore the Hyde Amendment in the bill.

The House voted 219-208 to advance the spending bill Thursday, with Democrats voting in favor of the measure and Republicans voting against it.

Shortly before the vote took place, Rep. Tom Cole, R-Okla., the ranking member of the House Subcommittee on Labor, Health, Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies, filed a motion to recommit to prevent the bill from passing without including the Hyde Amendment. The effort failed in a party-line vote of 217-208.

National Right to Life President Carol Tobias, president of the pro-life group National Right to Life, praised Cole "for his effort to prevent passage of the appropriations bill without Hyde Amendment language." She thanked “pro-life members of Congress for their dedication and diligence in working to protect the Hyde Amendment and prevent taxpayer funding of abortions.”

“After 45 years of bipartisan support, Democrats in the House want to destroy a measure designed to save human lives," Tobias said in a statement. (Read more)

- Father, we continue to pray over our representatives to have their eyes open to You and Your ways. May they repent of not preventing tax dollars from funding abortions! Sweep through Congress with Your Holy Spirit and may they fall on their knees and worship You, and renew their minds to know the error of their ways!

"I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit
of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe." (Ephesians 1:17-19)

3. Support for Speaker Pelosi's select Jan. 6 committee waning after first hearing, poll - Just the News

A poll released this week after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s first special Jan. 6 committee hearing indicates Americans’ waning interest in the probe.  The Morning Consult poll polls released Thursday found 53% of all respondents now support the investigation, down from 66% in the survey in June and 58% just a week ago.

The findings follow testimony Tuesday by four police officers on duty during the Jan. 6 breach of the U.S. Capitol. Their emotional testimony about efforts to keep protestors out of the building resulted in tearful responses from at least two members of the 9-member committee.

The poll also found four out of five Democrats are now in favor of the probe, compared to about a quarter for Republicans and half for independents. Just 49 percent of respondents said they had watched all or even part of the 3.5 hour hearing.

The new survey found the number of voters who blame Trump for the breach fell to 56% from 61% in June. It also appears to show a downward trend in support for the probe, considering CBS News and Rasmussen reporting declining interest in the investigation just days before the first hearing, according to The New York Post.

- Father God, we thank You that this report indicates that the American people are not fooled by the shenanigans of this "committee." Lord God, as a free people, our desire is to be governed in TRUTH, and not in a series of lies. We continue to lift up the 60 patriots from January 6th who are still incarcerated in the D.C. prison. Lord God, we ask that You would loose Your holy angels to protect and to safeguard
each one. May they be released speedily, either by means of a court decision, or by means of decree. In Your name we offer this prayer, amen and amen.

- "As a roaring lion, and a raging bear: so is a wicked ruler over the poor people."  (Proverbs 28:15)

4. Federal scheme gives more aid to blacks and minorities than whites to buy homes - WND

In a strategy that is similar to several other proposed federal giveaways by the Biden administration that already have been halted in court for their racist elements, a new proposal would set up federal aid for homebuyers – and it would give more to blacks and other minorities than to whites. The Washington Times has documented that U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., wants to set up a program inside of President Biden's $3.5 trillion clean energy and daycare bill – what he calls "human infrastructure" – that would allow federal aid for down payments on homes. It would specify that blacks get more financial help than whites.

The report explained, "White prospective homebuyers would be eligible for the $20,000 grants, but people of color would be more likely to fit the criteria. Particularly alarming to critics is that Ms. Waters would give another $5,000 in down-payment assistance to members of a 'socially disadvantaged group.' The legislation defines the group as those 'identifying as black, Hispanic, Native American, or Asian American, or any combination thereof."

A commentary at the Independent Sentinel explained this possibly is "the most blatantly racist act yet by the [Biden] administration. It's clearly racist and it's similar to the endless reparations idea that Kamala Harris came up with," the commentary said. "The Left is constantly trying to force reparations down our throats through racist policies." The writer pointed out that it was just in May that the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty, a conservative legal nonprofit, sued the Biden administration for prioritizing COVID-19 relief funds for bars and restaurants owned by minorities. Then last month, "a Florida federal court judge granted a preliminary injunction blocking another Biden administration relief program that forgave loans of black farmers."

Deputy Counsel Dan Lennington told the Independent Sentinel there is a "100%" guarantee there will be another lawsuit if Waters' plan is adopted. (Read more)

- Father, strike down this racist proposal by Maxine Waters. May more organizations and individuals take action against these policies! We bind the spirit of division, in Jesus name!

- "These are grumblers, malcontents, following their own sinful desires; they are loud-mouthed boasters, showing favoritism to gain advantage. But you must remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. They said to you, “In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.” It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit." (Jude 1:16-19)

5. Senate Votes to Require Women to Register for the Draft - New York Times

In the latest and perhaps decisive battle over the role of women in the military, Congress is embroiled in an increasingly intense debate over whether they should have to register for the draft when they turn 18.

On Tuesday, the Senate approved an expansive military policy bill that would for the first time require young women to register for the draft. The shift, while fiercely opposed by some conservative lawmakers and interest groups, had surprisingly broad support among Republican leaders and women in both parties.
The United States has not used the draft since 1973 during the Vietnam War. But the impact of such a
shift, reflecting the evolving role of women in the armed services, would likely be profound.

Under the Senate bill passed on Tuesday, women turning 18 on or after Jan. 1, 2018, would be forced to register for Selective Service, as men must do now. Failure to register could result in the loss of various forms of federal aid, including Pell grants, a penalty that men already face. Because the policy would not apply to women who turned 18 before 2018, it would not affect current aid arrangements.

“The fact is,” said Senator John McCain, Republican of Arizona and the chairman of the Armed Services Committee, “every single leader in this country, both men and women, members of the military leadership, believe that it’s fair since we opened up all aspects of the military to women that they would also be registering for Selective Services.” (Read more)

- Father, please reverse this bill that would require women to register for the military! Raise up such an outcry that this wall would come down, and this bill would be stopped.

- "When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have the whole army give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the army will go up, everyone straight in.” (Joshua 6:5)
6.  Biden DOJ sues Texas over executive order banning transportation of sick illegal aliens - Just the News

The Biden Justice Department on Friday sued Texas and Gov. Greg Abbott seeking to overturn an executive order prohibiting the ground transportation of illegal aliens who could be carrying COVID-19.

Attorney General Merrick Garland’s team argued in U.S. District Court that Abbott’s order interferes with the federal government’s ability to address immigration.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said he would contest the order and "keep President Biden out of Texas business.” (Read more)

- Almighty God, we pray and trust that You will send angels to cover the border and stop the sick illegal aliens from coming into the United States.  Lord, surround the border with an impenetrable wall.  Father God, send warring angels to surround and to dismantle the executive orders of those advising the president to the detriment of this country. These have always committed treason against America.  Stop them, Lord, in the Name of Jesus we pray,

"Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied."  (Proverbs 27:20)

7. This College Boldly Releases 1776 Curriculum in Hope of Restoring Truth - IFA

Hillsdale College is a small institution with lofty values: “Goodness, Truth, and Beauty.” Now, the college is expanding its pursuit of the truth to grade schools with an American history curriculum for grades K-12, “offered for free to all who wish to learn.”

“This curriculum is a work of education,” Hillsdale College President Larry P. Arnn said. “It seeks to teach the truth of American history and to cultivate in students the knowledge and virtue necessary to live good lives as citizens.”

The curriculum is a response to the now de-commissioned 1776 Commission, which called for an honest restoration of American history. Arnn chaired the commission and Matthew Spalding, vice president of Hillsdale’s Van Andel Graduate School of Government in Washington, D.C., served as its executive director.

Created to secure and celebrate founding principles found in the Declaration of Independence, the 1776 Commission was de-funded on President Joe Biden’s first day in office for a small note in its appendix that deemed identity politics “fundamentally incompatible with the principle of equality enshrined in the Declaration of Independence.”

Combatting critical race theory, the popularized anti-American and racist curriculum that has permeated institutions across the country, is not the purpose of Hillsdale’s latest curriculum. The 20-unit curriculum aims to strengthen civic understanding through detailed lesson plans with initial units including American history, middle school Civics courses, and high school Government and Politics courses. (Read more)

Lord, we thank you for what you are doing in this college! We pray that you would continue to protect the schools all throughout America, and that this would be the beginning of revival in our education system.

- "Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?" (Psalm 85:6)

 8. Biden appoints Khizr Khan to committee on religious freedom - The Hill

President Biden on Friday appointed Khizr Khan, the Gold Star father who gained prominence during the 2016 Democratic National Convention, to serve on the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom.

Khan's appointment was one of four made on Friday by the White House focused on religious affairs. He will serve as one of six commissioners for the organization tasked with defending the freedom of religion abroad and reviewing cases of infringement on religious freedoms.

"Today’s announcement underscores the President’s commitment to build an Administration that looks like America and reflects people of all faiths," the White House said in a statement.

Khan's son, U.S. Army Captain Humayun Khan, was killed while serving in Iraq and was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star with Valor.

Khan spoke at the 2016 Democratic National Convention, where he delivered an emotional response to then-candidate Donald Trump's derisive comments about Muslims during that year's campaign. Khan held up a copy of the Constitution while his wife, Ghazala, stood on stage and paid tribute to their son's service.

Khan endorsed Biden in 2019 after he announced his presidential campaign, arguing Biden had the ability to unite the country. Khan founded the Constitution Literacy and National Unity Project and lives in Charlottesville, Va. (Read more)

- Lord God, we are grateful that the Biden administration is upholding the call to defend freedom of religion around the world. Nevertheless, we do keep a watchful
eye on this news, as Mr. Khan's faith is not that of the majority of our American citizens. We pray that any policy decisions he makes will align, in truth, with the religious freedom we are guaranteed by our Constitution. In Your Name, amen and amen.

- "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven . . ." (Matt. 6:10)

9. First Afghan evacuees head to US - Washington Examiner

The first group of Afghans who aided U.S. forces is on the way to the United States to complete the application process for a special visa. With the troop withdrawal from Afghanistan nearly complete, the Biden administration started “Operation Allies Refuge" to evacuate thousands of Afghan helpers to the U.S. who face the threat of retribution from advancing Taliban forces.

President Joe Biden called their arrival “an important milestone as we continue to fulfill our promise to the thousands of Afghan nationals who served shoulder-to-shoulder with American troops and diplomats over the last 20 years in Afghanistan,” in a statement and said it’s “just the first of many.”

“Welcome home,” Biden added. (Read more)

- We pray for the settlement of these Afghan helpers to the United States. We thank them for their service to the American Troops and pray protection over them.

- "Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me."            (Psalm 138:7)

10. US Plans Sanctions Campaign to Counter Iran’s ‘Advancing’ Drone, Guided Missile Threat - The Algemeiner

The US reportedly seeks to launch a sanctions campaign against Iran’s capabilities for precision strikes using drones and guided missiles, as Western security officials voice concerns that these weapons pose a more immediate threat to Middle East stability than Iran’s nuclear enrichment and other activities.

“Iran’s drones are becoming an increasing threat to our allies in the region,” a US official told the Wall Street Journal.

Military and diplomatic officials cited an increase in the use of guided missiles and drones against US forces and allies, and told the outlet of plans to disrupt Iran’s procurement of the parts necessary for those capabilities.

According to Jason M. Brodsky, senior Middle East analyst and editor at Iran International, the trigger for the US campaign is growing concern in both Washington and the region that Iran’s drone and missile programs are advancing — and that they are increasingly being used in theaters like Israel, Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Saudi Arabia. (Read more)

- Almighty God, we pray You will completely block Iran's capabilities to produce drones and guided missiles by lack of supplies and necessary parts.   Father in heaven, send warring angels to destroy the facilities that produce these drones and the facility that makes the parts.  Remove the employees who are hired to manufacture these drones and guided missiles.  Shut them down, mighty God.  In the Name of Jesus we pray.

- "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness."  (Rom. 1:18)

Minnesotans Take Legal Action Over
Critical Race Theory

A law firm has taken legal action on behalf of Minnesotans opposed to critical race theory (CRT) who argue that they’ve become victims of bullying and retaliation for speaking out against what they say is a divisive and discriminatory philosophy.

The Minnesota-based Upper Midwest Law Center (UMLC) announced on July 30 that it had filed complaints and lawsuits on behalf of clients who “seek an end to the ‘official’ propagandizing of CRT and the bullying and retaliation which accompany it.”

CRT, a quasi-Marxist ideology that interprets society through the lens of a racial struggle, sees inherent racism in the foundations of Western societies, which it seeks to fundamentally transform to end this claimed racial oppression. An effort to incorporate CRT in U.S. schools has been pushed by progressive politicians, activists, and major teachers’ unions, drawing backlash from parents and conservatives.

“Our clients are bravely confronting CRT-inspired bullying, indoctrination, and retaliation, which isn’t ‘training’ or persuasion,” Doug Seaton, president of UMLC, said in a statement.

“They have been insulted, lied about, threatened, demoted, and fired, simply for refusing to submit to this ideology. But the U.S. Constitution, the federal Civil Rights laws, and their Minnesota counterparts don’t permit this race-based discrimination, retaliation, compelled speech, and invasion of privacy.”

Acting on behalf of its clients, UMLC has announced a series of parallel Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charges and state and federal lawsuits. (Epoch Times) (Read more)

- Father God, we thank You that  more and more of our citizens are now waking up to the dangers of the CRT agenda in our society, and are willing to take the action needed to cast it down. In America, these bullying tactics of the Marxists cannot stand the test of time, for we will not bow to their hatred. Thank You, O Lord, for saving us, in Your name, amen.

- "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord." (Zephaniah 4:6)
"Greater is He that is in you, than He that is in the world." (I John 4:4)

Alert in Australia!
Covid in Sydney: Military deployed to help enforce lockdown

Australia has deployed hundreds of soldiers to Sydney to help enforce a Covid lockdown.

A Delta outbreak which began in June has produced nearly 3,000 infections and led to nine deaths.Australian Defence Force soldiers will undergo training on the weekend before beginning unarmed patrols on Monday.

But many have questioned whether the military intervention is necessary, calling it heavy-handed. The lockdown - in place until at least 28 August - bars people from leaving their home except for essential exercise, shopping, caregiving and other reasons.

Despite five weeks of lockdown, infections in the nation's largest city continue to spread. Officials recorded 170 new cases on Friday. Soldiers will join police in virus hotspots to ensure people are following the rules, which include a 10km (6.2 miles) travel limit. (BBC) Read more.

- Father God, we pray today for the people of Australia. We ask that Your grace would sustain them in this time of dire need, and we ask that a spirit of restraint would rest upon the military personnel that are being deployed on this special mission. We ask for wisdom for all the world's leaders to know what to do in the face of another global pandemic; and we bind fear and loose peace in Your name, amen and amen.

"I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe." (Ephesians 1:17-19)
Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America
August 1st Update

The New York Times, and others, always insert a clause into their stories, “WITHOUT EVIDENCE, that the election was decided fraudulently.” As usual, this is FAKE NEWS.

There is massive and unconditional evidence that the election was shattered with fraud and irregularities at a level that our Country has never seen before. Much of it is already public, and a great deal more is coming out in the very near future. Every time you read a statement that there is “no evidence of election fraud,” about the 2020 election scam, just attribute that statement to a crooked and collusive media (they work closely together with the Radical Left Democrats) that will do anything to hide the real facts of this election fiasco.

After seeing the irrefutable evidence from numerous states, others are talking about doing deep forensic audits. This election was a scam, and the Lamestream Media is doing everything in their power not to allow the people to see or read about what really took place. We no longer have a free and open media (they don’t cover the truth), but the word is getting out stronger than ever before.

Even the Justice Department has no interest in the crooked and corrupt 2020 Presidential Election. They are only interested in hurting those who want to reveal how totally dishonest it was. The Justice Department should be looking at the people who rigged the election, not the Patriots of our Country who are seeking to find how our Nation was defrauded.

We must also look to the future and fight for State Legislatures to reform their elections so that this will NEVER happen again. In the end, truth will WIN!

Montana Miracles:
God's Spirit and a Heavenly Rain Fall on 'Let Us Worship'

For the past few days, Sean Feucht and his worship team have witnessed miracles taking place throughout Montana. The tour started on Thursday in Lewistown, which Feucht pointed out was the smallest town that his "Let Us Worship" tour has been to so far.

In a video shared on Instagram, he explained that it started raining during the first song of rehearsal which was celebrated as a sign from God since the state has been battling wildfires and rain was not in the forecast.

"It started to rain the MOMENT we strummed the 1st chord in rehearsal tonight!!!! This was an ANSWER to prayer for the wildfires raging across this state!"

With a population of less than 6,000 people, many worshippers still gathered in an open field to seek God's truth and healing power. Some attending the event were overcome with emotion as they fell to their knees, with tears streaming down their faces, and gave all their worries to the Holy Spirit.

Feucht started Let Us Worship last year as states were cracking down on churches, banning Sunday church services. He took his worship events outdoors, traveling from state to state, as both a form of protest and as a way to spread revival around America.

And he has no plans of stopping these Spirit-filled events that have brought hope and healing to so many. Let Us Worship will continue to travel across the U.S. during the month of August, then prepare for its second event at The National Mall in Washington D.C. from Sept. 11-12.

More than 35,000 people gathered on the iconic grassy lawn last October where Feucht proclaimed to the crowd that "God's moving in America."

'It's happening': Ice worms emerge in Pacific Northwest glaciers

"It's happening," scientist Scott Hotaling told a reporter for OPB as he gestured across Paradise Glacier high up on Mount Rainier in Washington.

He was referencing hundreds of thousands of tiny, black worms emerging from a vast expanse of white snow.

Ice worms were first discovered in 1887 on Alaska's Muir Glacier. They have since been spotted on most of the coastal glaciers in Alaska, British Columbia, Washington and Oregon. It was an exciting discovery because, for the longest time, biologists considered high-altitude glaciers sterile places where life was essentially impossible.

“I think they're like the mascot of mountain glaciers in the West," Hotaling told AccuWeather about ice worms. They're incredibly cool, they're incredibly abundant and they're the largest organism on Earth that spends its whole life cycle in ice. "When they're around, there are hundreds per square meter. You cannot walk without stepping on them...so, it's a very dramatic thing when they are present." Read More

[A note from the editor: we are posting this report under the Good News section, because it is good news that the churches are admitting their sins of the past, and offering repentance and restitution to bring us all to a new beginning. For this fact, we do praise the Lord.]

The discoveries of hundreds of unmarked graves at former residential schools for Indigenous children in Canada have prompted calls for a reckoning over similar schools in the United States.

U.S. Catholic and Protestant denominations operated more than 150 boarding schools between the 19th and 20th centuries, according to researchers. Native American and Alaskan Native children were regularly severed from their tribal families, customs, language and religion and brought to the schools in a push to assimilate and Christianize them.

Some U.S. churches have been reckoning with this activity for years through ceremonies, apologies and archival investigations, while others are just getting started. Some advocates say churches have more work to do in opening their archives, educating the public about what was done in the name of their faith and helping former students and their relatives tell their stories of family trauma.

This month top officials with the U.S. Episcopal Church acknowledged the denomination’s own need to reckon with its involvement with such boarding schools. “We must come to a full understanding of the legacies of these schools,” read a July 12 statement from Presiding Bishop Michael Curry and the Rev. Gay Clark Jennings, president of the denomination’s House of Deputies. They called for the denomination’s next legislative session in 2022 to earmark funds for independent research into church archives and to educate church members.

Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, the first Native American to serve as a U.S. Cabinet secretary, announced last month that her department would investigate “the loss of human life and the lasting consequences of residential Indian boarding schools.” That would include seeking to identify the schools and burial sites.

The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, meanwhile, said it would look for ways to assist in the Interior Department’s inquiry. “We cannot even begin to imagine the deep sorrow these discoveries are causing in Native communities,” spokeswoman Chieko Noguchi said. (Religion News.com) Read more.

Thoughts for Repentance
Dear sisters and brothers in Christ Jesus, part of a growing repentance remnant globally,

Thank you for supporting a "new wineskin" approach to give HOPE and a FUTURE to young people. Starting in the nation of Malawi, a new youth ministry, yOUT, has reached over 1,400 young people already in one year! yOUT gives them not only the best gift of all --- Jesus Christ--- but also, to each one, His Call on each of their lives.

Instead of playing church, or joining some denomination, they receive during the day's free training, an opportunity to repent, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, a sash with Jehovah Nissi written on it, and this key Scripture to direct them towards the Lord Jesus Christ, and the deep JOY that only He can give: John 15: 16:

" You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. These things I command you, that you love one another." Read More

Music: Ancient Irish tune

Scripture: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. Psalm 23:1

Lyrics:
The King of love my Shepherd is,
Whose goodness faileth never,
I nothing lack if I am His
And He is mine forever.

Where streams of living water flow
My ransomed soul He leadeth,
And where the verdant pastures grow,
With food celestial feedeth.

Perverse and foolish oft I strayed,
But yet in love He sought me,
And on His shoulder gently laid,
And home, rejoicing, brought me.

In death’s dark vale I fear no ill
With Thee, dear Lord, beside me;
Thy rod and staff my comfort still,
Thy cross before to guide me.

Thou spread’st a table in my sight;
Thy unction grace bestoweth;
And O what transport of delight
From Thy pure chalice floweth!

And so through all the length of days
Thy goodness faileth never;
Good Shepherd, may I sing Thy praise
Within Thy house forever.
