CDC offered plan for internment camps in so-called ‘shielding’ initiative
|
|
ATLANTA, GA ( LifeSiteNews) – The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has a detailed plan for isolating certain individuals in camps as part of a “shielding” initiative. CDC published a document last year revealing a plan to isolate high-risk people in camps or community settings for an indefinite amount of time, but at least six months.
According to CDC, high-risk persons should be kept in these camps until “sufficient hospitalization capacity is established; effective vaccine or therapeutic options become widely available; or the COVID-19 epidemic affecting the population subsides.”
However, CDC warned that hospitals will likely remain overwhelmed while the pandemic runs its course. Additionally, the virus could take months to subside, and herd immunity “has not been demonstrated to date.”
“The shielding approach aims to reduce the number of severe COVID-19 cases by limiting contact between individuals at higher risk of developing severe disease (“high-risk”) and the general population (“low-risk”),” the July 2020 document reads.
High-risk people include the elderly and those with underlying health conditions which make them more susceptible to COVID-19. Minors would be accompanied by a caregiver. It is unclear if merely being unvaccinated makes a person “high-risk”; when the document was first published, the COVID-19 vaccination roll-out had not yet begun. (LifeSite News) Read more here. |

1. China Launched Cyberattacks Against Israel, Security Firm Finds - Washington Free Beacon
China waged an extended cyber war against Israeli private businesses and government entities in 2019 and 2020, an online security company announced Monday.
FireEye, an international cybersecurity firm, said hackers traced back to the Chinese Ministry of State Security targeted Israeli shipping, defense, and tech companies, as well as government servers, in a hacking campaign stretching more than two years. The attacks zeroed in on a vulnerability in SharePoint, a Microsoft collaborative platform popular in the national security industry.
The attacks are only China's most recent cyber offensive against another country, but the first of this scale against Israel. Sanaz Yashar, an investigator for FireEye, said the Chinese wanted to obtain communications files and advance their "Belt and Road Initiative," a global infrastructure project to sell its goods worldwide. China invested in Israel as a major node in the project.
"In the Chinese view, it’s legitimate to attack a company while negotiating with it, so they will know how to price the deal properly," Yashar said. "There are a lot of Israeli companies that are involved in the very fields at the core of Chinese interests, as reflected in their five-year plans." (Read more)

2. CIA head set to arrive in Israel - how will US tackle Iran? - Jerusalem Post
CIA Director Bill Burns was set to arrive in Israel on Tuesday amid reports that the US is considering alternative ways to get Iran to stop advancing its nuclear program as negotiations to return to the 2015 Iran deal stall.One option the US is weighing is limited sanctions relief in exchange for Iran freezing its uranium enrichment, Bloomberg reported. However, the US is still officially calling for a return to the nuclear agreement, with follow-on negotiations to make it “longer and stronger.”
In recent months, Iran began to enrich uranium to 60%, develop uranium metal and block International Atomic Energy Agency access to nuclear sites.
US and European officials are concerned that Iran’s violations of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) agreement will become so advanced that it will make the JCPOA deal irrelevant. (Read more)

3. IDF names Hezbollah terrorist behind rocket barrage towards Israel - World Israel News
The Israeli Defense Forces revealed the name of the Hezbollah terrorist responsible for firing 19 rockets towards Israeli territory last Friday.
Ali Kajak has been documented near the Israeli-Lebanese border several times in the past in civilian clothing. Kajak was brutally beaten by scores of Druze Lebanese men after he fired a rocket at Israel from an open area near their village.
In a video that went viral on social media, Ali Kajak is seen being pummeled by Druze residents of Chouya, a small town in southern Lebanon near the border with Israel. (Read more)

4. Israeli court: Employer can force staff to vaccinate, be tested for COVID - Jerusalem Post
Employers can require staff members to either be vaccinated or perform a coronavirus test to come to work, even against their will, the Tel Aviv Regional Labor Court decided this week.
The decision came in response to a petition filed by an employee of the Mekorot national water company against his employer. Mekorot had said unvaccinated workers or those who did not present a negative test could not come to work.
The court urged the plaintiff not to continue with his case. Mekorot’s request to require employees to either vaccinate or present two negative coronavirus tests a week was a measured policy in light of the growing rate of COVID-19 infections, the judges said.
In a letter from his lawyer to Mekorot that was shown to The Jerusalem Post, the employee agreed to take the two tests per week against his will, but he reserved the right to sue the company later. (Read more)

5. Got Green Pass? Soon to be Mandated for Ages 3+ - Jewish Press
Israeli government officials are planning to impose increased COVID-19 restrictions on the country’s population in the hopes of stemming the runaway rise in coronavirus cases.
The centerpiece of the plan is the expansion of Green Pass requirements for nearly all Israeli venues, events and leisure activities.
The Green Pass documents an individual’s completion of the two-shot vaccination series, proof of recovery from the coronavirus, and/or proof of a negative finding within the past 72 hours on a COVID-19 test.
The Green Pass is now going to be required at gyms, swimming pools, sporting and cultural events, conferences and exhibitions, academic institutions, museums, libraries, hotels and restaurants, among other venues. (Read more)

1. Cuomo resigns after investigation finds he harassed multiple women - The Hill
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) has resigned from office after a bombshell report released by state Attorney General Letitia James (D) found he sexually harassed 11 women, including some who worked in his office, and violated state and federal laws.
Cuomo had been inundated with calls for his departure and faced an impeachment hearing in the state Assembly that appeared all but guaranteed to spark a trial in the state Senate. Should he have survived potential impeachment proceedings, he also faced daunting reelection prospects in 2022.
His resignation followed a 45-minute news conference from Rita Glavin, his attorney, during which she refuted the allegations in the report and attacked the credibility of the investigators and women who came forward with accusations. (Read more)

2. Senate passes $1T bipartisan infrastructure bill in major victory for Biden - The Hill
The Senate on Tuesday passed a roughly $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure deal, a significant win for President Biden and the first step on his top legislative priority.
Senators voted 69-30 on the bill, which was spearheaded by a bipartisan group of senators led by Sens. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) and Rob Portman (R-Ohio). Nineteen GOP senators voted with all Democrats to pass the legislation.
The bill is now heading to the House, where it faces an uncertain future and skepticism from progressives. Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has vowed she won’t take it up until the Senate passes the second part of its infrastructure two step, a sweeping $3.5 trillion spending package that includes Democrats’ top priorities.
But the Senate’s passage of the bipartisan measure on Tuesday gives a victory for Biden and the centrist-minded group that led the legislation, and placed big bets and months of time on the ability to get a bipartisan deal on infrastructure, one of Washington’s long-running legislative white whales. 3. Five controversial policies tucked inside 2,700-page bipartisan Senate infrastructure bill - Just the News
Carefully tucked away inside the 2,700-page bipartisan infrastructure bill that is now poised for passage in the Senate are some controversial policies, including these five:
1. The bill includes a mandate for vehicle manufactures to install "drunk and impaired driving prevention technology" as a standard feature inside of new vehicles.
2. The legislation contains a $118 billion bailout for the Highway Trust Fund, which is currently funded primarily through federal taxes on gas and diesel fuel. As the text of the bill does not specify a revenue source to fully cover the $118 billion, funds would be transferred from the Treasury General Fund to the Highway Trust Fund.
3. A pilot program to create a vehicle miles traveled system for taxing drivers based on their annual vehicle mileage is hidden away in the bill's section 13002, entitled "National motor vehicle per-mile user fee pilot." Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg floated the idea of taxing motorists based on the number of miles they travel each year during his confirmation process.
4. The cryptocurrency provisions in the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill have been criticized by lawmakers on both sides of the aisle. The bill includes an IRS reporting requirement for brokers of cryptocurrency transactions.
5. The bill grants select cabinet secretaries the authority to fully fund select infrastructure projects with taxpayer dollars by waiving cost-sharing rules. (Read more)

4. YouTube censors Rand Paul, senator accuses tech giant of becoming 'arm of the government' - Just the News
Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul announced Tuesday he has been censored by YouTube, which he described as becoming an "arm of the government." "We've had two speeches taken down, and this last one was, I think, a short speech," Paul told Just the News Tuesday on a conference call. "The access to the entire YouTube channel is no longer available."
A spokesperson for Paul explained that YouTube removed two of the senator's videos and suspended his account from uploading videos for seven days. After the first video was removed, Paul recorded a second video outlining the science behind his statements on cloth masks and YouTube removed that video as well.
The conservative senator has steadfastly challenged Dr. Anthony Fauci's approach to the COVID pandemic, from mandatory masks to vaccine mandates. Paul told reporters that he sees a pattern in the censorship happening on Google properties. "Basically, Google and YouTube are becoming an arm of the government. This is where there's a question of whether or not the first amendment actually ought to apply," Paul said.
"I think, for the most part, the first amendment doesn't apply to these entities but if they become an organ for the government, if they are taking CDC pronouncements, which I think there is science on the other side of this to argue against the CDC, which has become very politicized; if they are taking government edicts and then enforcing them, are they a private entity any longer or are they becoming an organ of the government? I think it's terrible for free speech," he also said. (Read more)

- Our Mighty God, we agree with Senator Paul that many common social media sites have essentially become an arm of a totalitarian-type government to the extent that they have cut off all avenues of dissent in their platforms. We pray that You would raise up other platforms in which the voice of the people may be heard freely, as our Founding Fathers would wish. 5. Dominion Sues Newsmax, One America News Network, Others Over Election Claims - Wall Street Journal
One of the largest voting-machine companies in the U.S. on Tuesday sued two conservative media networks and a businessman it said had defamed it by spreading accusations that it rigged the 2020 election for President Biden.
Dominion Voting Systems filed suits against Newsmax Media Inc. and Herring Networks Inc.’s One America News Network.
Dominion also sued Patrick Byrne, the former chief executive of Overstock.com Inc., an online seller of furniture and other goods.
Dominion accused the two networks of defaming the company and its products by airing false reports that its machines switched votes from President Donald Trump to Mr. Biden.
The company also said Mr. Byrne repeatedly and falsely alleged that Dominion rigged vote tallies to steal the 2020 presidential election for Mr. Biden. In each of the three lawsuits, Dominion is seeking more than $1.6 billion in damages, citing lost profit and other costs. (Read more)

6. Republicans unveil bill to ban federal funding of critical race theory - The Hill
A trio of Republican senators on Tuesday introduced legislation that would ban federal funding for what they believe to be “divisive concepts” such as critical race theory, which has become a key talking point for conservatives as midterm battles start to take shape.
The Protect Equality and Civics Education Act was brought forth by Sens. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.), and Mike Braun (R-Ind.). North Carolina Reps. Madison Cawthorn (R) and Virginia Foxx (R) introduced the bill’s companion legislation in the House.
“The story of our nation is under attack as the radical left continues to attempt to rewrite American history and categorize our citizens into an oppressor and oppressed class,” Rubio said in a statement. (Read more)

7. Parents in America's heartland push back against critical race theory: 'We are the last line of defense' - Fox News
Parents in the heartland hardly expected to find themselves battling critical race theory at their doorstep. But while critics focused on fighting the polarizing ideology in places like New York, California and Virginia, CRT advocates have been making a quiet push to implement K-12 curriculums in suburban towns across the midwest.
For months, critics in Wisconsin, Kansas, and Nebraska have tried to push back against their respective school districts' noticeable nod toward the controversial curriculum. 8. Princeton Offers ‘Black Lives Matter’ Course Featuring Readings by Former Communist Party Leader - Brietbart
A Fall 2021 class, titled “#BlackLivesMatter,” will trace “the historical roots and growth of the Black Lives Matter social movement in the United States and comparative global contexts,” according to the course description.
The description goes on to describe the Black Lives Matter movement and course as “committed to resisting, unveiling, and undoing histories of state sanctioned violence against Black and Brown bodies.” The class will also offer “a critical examination of the prison industrial complex, police brutality, urban poverty, and white supremacy in the US.”
For the course, students will also read “Freedom is a Constant Struggle” by Angela Davis, an avowed Marxist who came to prominence in the 1960s as a leader of the Communist Party U.S.A., and is best known for being the second black woman to make the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted List for her role in a courtroom shootout that resulted in the death of Judge Harold Haley. 9. 'We Didn't Back Down': Christians Respond to Portland Antifa Attack With Massive Worship Rally - CBN
One day after a shocking and disturbing attack on a Christian prayer event in Portland, Oregon, Christians rallied in that very location for a massive gathering to sing and worship God.
Sean Feucht, best known for his work as a volunteer worship leader at Bethel Church, led the large gathering and even claimed one member of Antifa who came to disrupt, ended up getting saved.
“Members of Antifa showed up in Portland last night to threaten, harass, bully and intimidate us,” he wrote on social media today. “A mom and her baby were tear-gassed. Antifa stood 10 feet from me as we lifted our voices in praise, but we didn’t back down. We kept worshipping and God moved powerfully!”
As it turns out, that worship ended up ringing true for at least one self-professed Antifa member, who gave his life to Christ.
“One member of Antifa who came to disrupt our service was SAVED giving his life to Jesus! It’s a time for a BOLD & BELIEVING church!” Feucht joyfully wrote. “God has not given us a Spirit of fear but of POWER & GRACE! The Church is on the move and the gates of hell will not prevail against it!” (Read more)

10. ‘It was preordained’: State Department blames Trump for US withdrawal from Afghanistan - Washington Examiner
President Joe Biden had no “viable option” other than to withdraw U.S. forces from Afghanistan, according to a senior State Department official who suggested that former President Donald Trump’s team tied their hands with a flawed agreement with the Taliban.
“It was preordained,” State Department spokesman Ned Price told reporters while defending the withdrawal. “It’s a deal that this administration probably would not have made, certainly not in all the detail. But it’s the deal that we inherited.
Taliban forces have swept across much of Afghanistan in the months since Biden announced that he would order U.S. troops to leave the country, culminating in the conquest of several provincial capitals since Friday. Allied officials have described Biden’s decision as “shock therapy,” but Price suggested that it should have surprised no one, given that the Trump administration struck a deal that called for the withdrawal of American forces by May 1.
“The idea that the United States could have maintained a significant military presence in Afghanistan ... that was just not tenable,” Price maintained. “It was not in the cards, because according to that agreement that was negotiated by the United States, not this administration, but the previous one, if our forces remain there in great numbers after May 1, they could have become the targets of violence.” (Read more)

Prophecy, Revelation And COVID

Some Bible teachers are saying that we are well into the Revelation prophecies because COVID was like one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. Let us not be confused concerning this. Revelation 6 describes six of the seven seals opened by the Lamb of God, each passing a judgment on earth. The White Horse is ridden by a conqueror; then a red horse symbolizing war; then a black horse of inflation; then the pale horse ridden by Death, empowered to kill with sword, hunger, death and the beasts of the earth. None of these horsemen are COVID because of the many prophecies that must take place before these final seal judgments. But COVID is certainly a type and shadow of things to come.
In Matthew 24, Christ prophesies of the chronology for the end of the age, beginning with verse 4, “Take heed that no man deceive you.” Summing it up, there will be false Christs; wars and rumors of wars; famines, pestilences, and earthquakes—which Christ calls the beginning of sorrows. Then there will be persecution, betrayals, false prophets; and the gospel preached in all the world. After that, the Abomination of Desolation will be seen as the beast (who many call the antichrist) will desecrate the temple. After that, there will be great tribulation, “And except those days be should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.” After that, Christ says there will be darkness, the Son of Man will come in the clouds, and at the sound of a trumpet the elect will be gathered. The Dixie Fire Is The 2nd Largest In California History
And Is Only 21% Contained

The massive Dixie Fire in Northern California has now been burning for nearly a month — it ignited in the Sierra Nevada around four weeks ago on July 13.
Thousands of people are under evacuation orders as the fire has blossomed to consume nearly 500,000 acres. It is currently 21% contained and has destroyed at least 400 structures.
The fire poses a dire threat to small communities, having ravaged the town of Greenville last week. It currently threatens nearly 14,000 more structures.

'LOVE LIKE JESUS': AFTER DONATING KIDNEY TO CHURCH MEMBER, MISSOURI PASTOR URGES EVERYONE TO HELP OTHERS IN NEED

Jack Coultas, pastor of Park Grove Christian Church in Deepwater, found out that church member Jeremy Whitman, 36, was in desperate need of a new kidney due to diabetes.
Coultas, 35, told CBN News that he wanted to do more than just pray for Whitman. He was hoping to become a donor.
"I wanted to do something practical to be able to help him," the pastor said. "When Jeremy went through kidney failure that put a heavy burden on my heart.
"When it was first brought up that he would need a new kidney, the Lord put it on my heart that I should be thinking about it. A verse that was regularly coming to mind was a passage out of 1 John 3:16-17: "We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has the world's goods, and sees his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him?"
Coultas said he continued to pray about the situation but couldn't come up with one reason why he shouldn't try to help Whitman.
"As I was meditating on that verse, I thought that Christ gave His life for us and I have something for Jeremy that he needs," he told CBN News. "I just felt like the responsible thing to do as a Christian was to see if I could be a candidate. I could not think of any reason not to."
Then the test results came back revealing Coultas was a donor match.
"It reaffirmed that this was what God wanted me to do," he said. (Breaking Christian News) Read more.
