FIFTH ITEM: NEWS FROM EPOCH TIMES
5. Rep.-Elect Boebert Joins House Members Who Will Object to Electors on Jan. 6 - The Epoch Times
Congresswoman-elect Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) made an official announcement on Thursday that on behalf of her constituents she will object to Electoral College results in the Jan. 6 joint session of Congress. “Guided by the US Constitution and my responsibility to my constituents, I will object to the Electoral College results on January 6th,” wrote Boebert in a Twitter post.
Boebert was criticized for the post by a news analyst and writer who accused the freshman congresswoman of “bombastic symbolic acts” to further her congressional career. Boebert responded, “Newsflash: I’m not here to make a career for myself. I’m here to save our country from socialists.”
SIXTH ITEM: CORRECTED PRAYER
Father God, we lift up Congresswoman-elect Lauren Boebert and all who will stand with her next week as they voice objections to the Electoral College results on January 6th. We thank You for their courage, and we honor each one as he or she will stand for Election Integrity in the Halls of Congress nextweek. We ask, too, that their numbers will even increase, as more and more members awaken to their role to uphold our Constitution, calling for election results that are free of any and all fraud.
We ask this in Your Name, amen.
"The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." (James 5:16)
