White House: Americans Not Required to Carry 'Vaccine Passports'

White House press secretary on Tuesday said that CCP virus “vaccine passports” will not be developed or supported by the Biden administration, coming after several GOP governors issued executive orders barring them.

“The government is not now, nor will we be supporting a system that requires Americans to carry a credential. There will be no federal vaccinations database and no federal mandate requiring everyone to obtain a single vaccination credential,” Psaki told reporters on Tuesday at the White House.

Psaki last month responded to reports that the administration was working with private firms to create a passport system, saying the administration would provide guidance.

“Our interest is very simple from the federal government, which is American’s privacy and rights should be protected so that these systems are not used against people unfairly,” Psaki clarified Tuesday. She again said the government would provide guidance on privacy concerns related to vaccines. (The Epoch Times) Read more.

- Father God, we know not the cause of this breakthrough for our freedom as American citizens to travel freely, without the restrictions of a "vaccine passport" requirement, but we do shout HALLELUJAH at this report. We pray that this administration would now move in many "arenas" to secure our freedoms as American citizens and that all the laws, written in our Constitution, would be honored. In Your name we offer this prayer, amen and amen.

- "But I will declare forever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob." (Psalm 75:9)

Focus on Israel

1. Rivlin reluctantly taps Netanyahu to form government: ‘Not an easy moral choice’ - Times of Israel

President Reuven Rivlin on Monday gave Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the first crack at forming a government but noted that he was doing so reluctantly, both because no party leader appeared to have enough support to succeed at cobbling together a ruling coalition and because he had “moral and ethical” reservations given that Netanyahu is on trial for corruption.

Netanyahu later urged political parties to end their “personal boycotts” and join his government, saying he would make “every effort” to remove Israel from the “cycle of elections” and establish a “strong government for all of Israel’s citizens.”

In announcing his choice, Rivlin spoke of his moral dilemma in light of Netanyahu’s ongoing corruption trial and the public discourse surrounding it, expressing his fears for the future of the country amid the divides that have resulted in four inconclusive elections in succession. (Read more)

2. Israel's 24th Knesset Sworn in Amid Looming Threat of Fifth Election - Jerusalem Post

The swearing in of the 24th Knesset began Tuesday afternoon under the looming threat of a fifth election and just hours after President Reuven Rivlin tapped Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with the mandate to form the next coalition.

In his speech, Rivlin lamented that he has presided over six Knessets in his seven-year term. He cried while describing the divisiveness in Israeli society.

“If we will not be wise enough to find a model of partnership that will enable us to live here together in mutual respect and genuine shared commitment to each other, our national resilience will be in real danger,” he said.

The public expects leadership from its MKs, and they have not received it, Rivlin said. (Read more)

3. Israel Challenges Biden on Jerusalem, Plans to Advance Har Homa Project - Jerusalem Post

Israel plans to advance a 540-unit extension to the contentious east Jerusalem Jewish neighborhood of Har Homa in its first direct challenge to the Biden administration on Jerusalem.
On Wednesday, the Local Planning Committee is set to discuss the Har Homa project, along with 26 other projects located on both sides of the Green Line in Jerusalem. It includes building projects for Arab neighborhoods.

“The planned discussions on objections to the Har Homa plan is the second-to-last stage in the plan’s approval process,” the left-wing group Ir Amim said Monday.

“Such a measure constitutes the first advancement of a settlement plan beyond the Green Line in Jerusalem since US President [Joe] Biden entered office, and should be seen as an Israeli-initiated challenge to the new American administration with the intent of probing US reaction,” it stated. (Read more)

4. Israeli Central Bank Chief Deplores Lack of Stable Government, State Budget - Algemeiner

The lack of a stable government and a state budget for 2021 are making structural economic changes that Israel needs to ensure long-term growth very difficult, its central bank chief said on Tuesday.

Israel’s fourth election in two years on March 23 was once again inconclusive but President Reuven Rivlin has asked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to try and form a government.

“It’s clearly far from optimal for there not to be a government and a budget,” Bank of Israel Governor Amir Yaron told a news conference.

Israel is using a pro-rated version of a base 2019 budget that was approved in mid-2018.

On the heels of a large stimulus package to help those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, Israel’s budget deficit reached 11.6% of gross domestic product last year, while the debt-to-GDP ratio hit 73%, up from 60% in 2019.

Yaron said getting back to 60% could take two decades, especially if the budget deficit — above 4% before the pandemic — stays high. A deficit of 4%, he said, was not sustainable but he did not advocate tax hikes until 2022 or 2023. (Read more)

5. Yes, Non-Israelis Can Finally Enter Israel - Jewish Press

The Israeli government has officially reopened its borders to non-citizen entry — but it’s not quite the free-wheeling situation that some reports have implied. The bottom line is that foreign tourism is not yet on the horizon, but at least families can get in, with caveats.

Here are the facts:

Effective Wednesday, April 7 at 8 am, entry restrictions are relaxed. They are not eliminated.

Foreign non-citizen family members of Israelis will be allowed to apply for, and obtain, entry permits for various special circumstances, medical emergencies, deaths and for the purpose of visiting IDF lone soldiers. The special circumstances may include weddings, bar mitzvahs, births and circumcisions.

Proof of relationship will be made by checking the population registry and by presenting relevant notarized documents proving the family relationship.

Preliminary approval from the Population and Immigration Authority or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is required before boarding the flight. (Read more)

1. Michigan leads US in new COVID cases as Gov. Whitmer takes heat from Republicans - Fox News

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has come under fire for her leadership by the state's Republican Party as the Wolverine State has surpassed 700,000 total COVID-19 cases.

At the same time that Michigan hit the grim milestone, the state is the national leader in the number of cases of the novel coronavirus by population. As of Tuesday morning, Michigan is averaging more than 452 cases per 100,000 residents over the last seven days, according to the latest Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data.

The New York Times' list of top 10 cities where the outbreak is the worst includes seven Michigan cities, as of Tuesday morning.
Whitmer's policies have garnered much ire from her opponents, who have hammered her over her controversial nursing home policies as well as her strict lockdown orders. (Read more)

- Father, please bring justice to Michigan. The nation knows how hard the governor locked down the state and put covid positive patients into nursing homes exacerbating the cases. We pray for the people of Michigan to overcome this virus, even while the governor is held to account.

"The Lord is their strength, And He is the saving refuge of His anointed."        (Psalm 28:8)

2. Texas Gov. Abbott takes aim at ‘vaccine passports,’ issues order restricting state agencies - Fox News

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Tuesday issued an executive order restricting the use of COVID-19 "vaccine passports.” Republicans have largely condemned "vaccine passports," or documentation affirming that a person has received the COVID-19 vaccine, in order to participate in certain public activities -- an idea that some states have floated or enacted.

“Everyday [sic], Texans are returning to normal life as more people get the safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine. But, as I've said all along, these vaccines are always voluntary and never forced," Abbott said in a Tuesday statement. "Government should not require any Texan to show proof of vaccination and reveal private health information just to go about their daily lives."

The executive order prohibits Texas government agencies and political subdivisions from requiring "vaccine passports" or similar documentation. The order also bans entities receiving public funds from requiring people to show vaccine documentation in order to receive goods or services. (Read more)

- HALLELUJAH for the courage of Governor Abbott and all other governors who are standing up for our Constitutionally protected freedoms.  Father, we pray for there to be a ground-swell of citizens and governors rising up in opposition to the threatened "vaccine passport" tyranny.  We thank you that we are free citizens who shall not be deprived of the privilege of life and liberty or privacy and choice.

"For the day of the Lord of hosts Shall come upon everything proud and lofty, Upon everything lifted up-- And it shall be brought low --"  (Isaiah 2:12)

3. PA Gov. Tom Wolf Threatens to Block GOP Effort to Keep Trans Athletes Out of Girls’ Sports - Brietbart

Wolf took to his Facebook page to warn statehouse Republicans that he will veto “discrimination” against trans athletes. “I’ll veto this discriminatory ban if it reaches my desk,” Wolf said of the GOP-led effort to restrict trans athletes in the state’s schools.

To Pennsylvania’s trans youth: You belong. You are valued. Participate in the school activities that make you happiest. I’ll be cheering you on,” Wolf concluded.

The gov. was responding to a story in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reporting on the effort to ban transgender athletes from participating in the sport of their gender choice and to restrict them to the categories corresponding to their birth gender.

According to the paper, the sponsors say “the proposed measure would protect gender equality in sports and ensure a level playing field for girls and women. Some Democratic lawmakers say the measure is damaging and promotes discrimination.” (Read more)

- Father God, we pray for Godly courage and righteousness to be loosed in Pennsylvania. May the legislature have the boldness and the votes to override the governor's threatened veto so that girl athletes may have a fair chance in competing against equals.

"Therefore behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know My hand and My might; And they shall know that My name is the Lord."        (Jeremiah 16:21)

4. Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson Vetoes Bill To Ban Transgender Surgery For Minors - Daily Caller

Republican Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson announced Monday he would veto a bill that would have banned transgender surgery for minors.

Hutchinson made the announcement to reporters, describing the bill as a “vast government overreach,” and said that the state shouldn’t jump into every “medical, human, and ethical issue.”

I was told this week that the nation is looking at Arkansas because I have on my desk another bill passed by the General Assembly that is a product of the cultural war in America,” Hutchinson began. “I don’t shy away from a battle when it is necessary and defensible, but the most recent action of the General Assembly, while well intended, is off course, and I must veto HB 1570.” (Read more)

- Father, this entire issue is quite troubling.  We must protect our children and parents, and legislation seems the best way.  However, what we really ask You for, is the right way.  We pray Abba that You would intervene on behalf of families against the wicked transgender twisting of Your creation.  We stand together for the righteousness of God in Arkansas and every state.

"The Lord will cause His glorious voice to be heard, And show the descent of His arm, With the indignation of His anger . . . "  (Isaiah 30:30)

5. Senate parliamentarian to let Democrats bypass GOP filibuster on two bills - The Hill

The Senate parliamentarian ruled Monday that Democrats can use special budgetary rules to avoid a GOP filibuster on two more pieces of legislation, setting the stage for President Biden's infrastructure agenda to pass in two packages with simple-majority votes.
It's a win for Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) that allows him to pass Biden's $2.25 trillion package by revising the fiscal 2021 Budget Resolution.

Schumer could pass a budget resolution for fiscal 2022 to do a third reconciliation package for the second half of the Biden infrastructure agenda. Or the fiscal 2021 budget could be revised a third time to set up a third reconciliation package.

Top Schumer aides had argued to parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough last month that Section 304 of the Congressional Budget Act of 1974 allows them to revise the budget resolution for fiscal 2021 to create additional reconciliation instructions, setting up pathways to pass two more bills this year with only a simple majority in the 50-50 Senate. (Read more)

- Dear Lord, we are terribly disappointed at the ruling of this Parliamentarian that will allow passage of this current administration's historically large spending bill. We bind up, in the name of Jesus, all manipulations and strained rulings that would come forth to silence genuine debate on the Senate floor of important bills. We pray that those speaking by Your voice will be heard. Let this never happen again. Amen.

- "Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity." (Psalms 64:2)

6. Trump says Georgia's new election bill should've been passed before the 2020 presidential election - Just The News

Former President Trump is supporting Georgia's recent enacted election-reform laws but says the measure should gort further and should've been in place before 2020 presidential election.

In a statement Monday, Trump called the bill recently signed into law by Republican Gov. Brian Kemp a "watered down" version of an election bill Trump would have preferred.
"Too bad the desperately needed election reforms in Georgia didn’t go further, as their originally approved bill did," Trump said. "But the governor and lieutenant governor would not go for it. This bill should have been passed before the 2020 Presidential Election, not after." (Read more)

- Father God, we see the wisdom You have put in President Trump's mouth and we pray that You will cause him to speak in the natural and by the Spirit to the many situations that have arisen since the last election.  Dear Lord, we ask that You would move in Georgia and other states to continue to tighten up laws so that it will be harder and harder to commit fraud in future elections.

"Instead, you yourselves cheat and do wrong, and you do this to your brothers and sisters."   (1 Corinthians 6:8)

7. Border Patrol nabs two men at border on FBI’s terrorism watch list - DML News

U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the El Centro Sector arrested two Yemeni men within the last 2 months that were identified on a terrorism watch list.

The first incident occurred on January 29, at approximately 1:10 a.m., when agents assigned to the El Centro Station arrested a man for illegally entering the United States. Agents apprehended the man approximately three miles west of the Calexico Port of Entry and transported him to the El Centro Processing Center for immigration and criminal history screening.

Agents conducted records checks, which revealed that the man, a 33-year-old illegal alien from Yemen, was on the FBI’s Terrorism Watch List as well as on the No-Fly list.
Additionally, agents found a cellular phone sim card hidden underneath the insole of his shoe. The man was transferred to the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

- Oh, Lord, we rejoice that these men were caught before they reached the interior of the US, but we are still disappointed that our borders are still so wide open that men of this character are able to flow freely into our country. Lord, we ask that You would set up a hedge of angelic protection at our borders to protect and preserve our country for Your purposes. Thank You, Lord.

- "And the Lord shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him." (Psalms 37:40)

 8. Border officials arresting terror suspects is 'rare,' White House says - Washington Examiner

The White House is downplaying the national security implications of two suspected terrorists being arrested at the southern border as federal officials struggle with a surge in migrant crossings under President Joe Biden.

It is "uncommon" for border agents to apprehend known or suspected terrorists, White House press secretary Jen Psaki insisted Tuesday. "While this is rare, this is a reflection of them doing their jobs," Psaki told reporters, referring to Border Patrol and other federal officers.

Two Yemeni men on the FBI's terror watch and "no-fly" lists were arrested within two months of one another on the U.S.-Mexico border in California, according to the Department of Homeland Security's Customs and Border Protection. (Read more)

- Father, we believe the two terrorists arrested are the tip of the iceberg of those with evil intent illegally entering the U.S. at this time. Protect us Lord from these invaders, and may warring angels turn the illegals away at the gates. We pray the border wall be completed and legal immigration laws enforced again as elected officials seek Your wisdom. Have mercy, Lord; come and help us!

- “I will also make your Officers Peace, And your Magistrates Righteousness. Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, Neither Devastation nor Destruction within your Borders; But you shall call your walls Salvation, And your Gates Praise.” (Isaiah 60:17b-18)

9. DHS may restart border wall construction to plug 'gaps' - Washington Times

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas told department employees he may restart border wall construction to plug what he called “gaps” in the current barrier. In a conversation with Immigration and Customs Enforcement employees last week Mr. Mayorkas was asked about his plans for the wall and he said that while President Biden has canceled the border emergency and halted Pentagon money flowing to the wall, “that leaves room to make decisions” on finishing some “gaps in the wall.”

Mr. Mayorkas, according to notes of the ICE session reviewed by The Washington Times, said Customs and Border Protection, which oversees the wall, has submitted a plan for what it wants to see happen moving forward. “It’s not a single answer to a single question. There are different projects that the chief of the Border Patrol has presented and the acting commissioner of CBP presented to me,” the secretary said.

“The president has communicated quite clearly his decision that the emergency that triggered the devotion of DOD funds to the construction of the border wall is ended. But that leaves room to make decisions as the administration, as part of the administration, in particular areas of the wall that need renovation, particular projects that need to be finished,” he said. He said those parts include “gaps,” “gates,” and areas “where the wall has been completed but the technology has not been implemented.” (Read more)

- Lord God, we are in agony at all that is going on along our southern border since January. The edict of “open borders” is wreaking havoc on our nation, with potential to severely impact social, medical, criminal, political, and financial components of our society. Drug and human trafficking, as well as the possibility of terrorism, are increasing. We pray that indeed the gaps in the wall and gates will be quickly built and closed. May DHS Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas succeed in the midst of the political smoke & mirrors; may those in power receive Your grace and wisdom to change policy; and may heavenly and public pressure be applied as needed. Dear Father, how we need You!

- "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." (II Chronicles 7:14)

10. Officials ID Navy officer who shot two people near Maryland military base; one victim in critical condition - Baltimore Sun

Navy petty officer third class Fantahun Girma Woldesenbet shot and critically injured two men Tuesday morning at a business park in Frederick, after which the 38-year-old was shot dead by authorities at a nearby Maryland military base, officials said.

The two victims, who were shot in a Navy installation within the Riverside Tech Park, were initially reported to have sustained life-threatening injuries and were flown to Shock Trauma. At an afternoon news conference, authorities said one of the victims remained in critical condition although the second was treated and expected to be released from hospital care tomorrow. The two men who were shot were identified as U.S. Navy personnel.

After the shooting, the gunman drove to the U.S. Army base Fort Detrick, where military police shot and killed him, said Jason Lando, Frederick’s police chief. A Fort Detrick official said Woldesenbet was brought down within minutes after he breached the fort’s Nallin Farm Gate near Opossumtown Pike. (Read more)

- Lord God, we ask that You bring healing to the two shooting victims; may they both totally recover. We bind shock and trauma over them and apply the blood of Jesus to their wounds--body, mind, and spirit. May this incident be used for good in their lives. Thank You, Father, that the perpetrator was stopped before any others were hurt. May the investigations of these matters reveal the true motives and details behind this attack and uncover any accomplices. - “… there is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known." (Matthew 10:26)
- "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me." (Psalm 23:4)

The Daily Jot

The “Post” election “Post” truth

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, Tuesday, April 6, 2021

The world is in an uproar over Major League Baseball moving its All-Star game from Atlanta because of the new voter integrity law in Georgia. The narrative on the new law is that it suppresses voting for minorities. That’s the narrative. It went viral. No one in the national media seemed to check the facts about what the new law does. So now you have corporations and a major sports league feigning wokeness when, in reality, their grand stand is upon a crumbling foundation. Even the Washington Post had to write a story refuting the narrative. Now that’s saying something. If the narrative is so false that the All-Star slant-rag of the left has to refute it, you know it must be really bad.

The narrative attacks the Georgia law on these main points: restricting the distribution of food and water to people standing in line, making it harder to cast absentee ballots, reducing drop boxes for mail ballots, and barring mobile voting places. But the facts, the truth, are not the same as the narrative. Georgia polls will remain open from 7 am to 7 pm, no changes. The Post says that changes to early voting actually expand, not limit, voting opportunities. Sunday early voting remains, and an additional Saturday early voting was mandated. Voter authentication for absentee (mail in) ballots is required. And campaign workers are not allowed to bring water to voters in line—always an electioneering concern.

On March 30, the Post’s Glenn Kessler wrote, “(President Joe) Biden has echoed many of those concerns. But there was one line in both his news conference and his statement that has kept us puzzling until our puzzler was sore. It also puzzled experts who have studied the new law.” On March 25, Biden stated: “What I’m worried about is how un-American this whole initiative is. It’s sick. It’s sick…deciding that you’re going to end voting at five o’clock when working people are just getting off work.” A day later, he said, “Among the outrageous parts of this new state law, it ends voting hours early so working people can’t cast their vote after their shift is over.” Kessler says these statements deserve “Four Pinocchios,” in other words, Biden is lying.  And the general narrative is a lie, too.

The truth is, some of the concerns were actually in original versions of the legislation. Those concerns were widely addressed before the final bill was passed and signed into law. Even the Post admits to this. But, the residual remained and became the battle cry for those who do not want to see election reform unless it codifies the “cheat.” The Prophet Isaiah wrote that in transgressing and lying against the Lord, departing from God, speaking oppression and revolt, and lying, “judgment is turned away backward, and justice stands afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter (Isaiah 59:14).” One has to take notice when a purveyor of propaganda like the Washington Post reveals a “Post” election, “Post” truth. We of the Way, however, are not exempt from believing other post-election, post truths. Seek truth.

Breakthrough for Religious Freedom

Religious freedom must be guaranteed for everyone, everywhere, all the time

Merdan Ghappar was put in a prison camp in China for being a Muslim. Pastor Youcef was thrown in jail in Iran for following Jesus and helping others do the same. Twenty-five-year-old Ravinder Singh was killed in Pakistan for being a Sikh. And just last week in Indonesia, two terrorist suicide bombers targeted Roman Catholics as they were leaving Sunday morning mass.

What do they have in common? Religious persecution.

With nearly 80 percent of the world’s population living in countries that deny full religious freedom, this foundational human right is among the most abused in the world. The abuse of religious freedom takes many forms — from blocking access to religious material online to putting someone to death for simply converting from one faith to another.

No matter the form it takes, we oppose the persecution of people’s rights to peacefully practice their faith and believe what they want to believe. Our mantra is “religious freedom for everyone, everywhere, all the time.” That’s why we’re convening the first-ever Summit to defend this right this July in Washington, D.C. Led entirely by civil society and religious groups, it will be the largest grassroots gathering ever of religious freedom advocates. Over 40 civil society and religious groups have come together representing almost all the religions in the world to convene this first-ever annual summit.

. . . This international religious freedom summit, or IRF Summit will feature speakers from around the world who have been persecuted for their beliefs. Lawmakers, civil society members, and faith leaders will put forward their proposals for activism and discuss concrete ways toward one main goal: building a grassroots movement to eradicate religious persecution. This will not be a talk-shop but an epicenter of activism to take serious action.

. . . We want to say — in one loud voice — that it is high time that the world comes together to say no more prison time or communal persecution for those who simply want to pray to whom they will and believe what they want. We believe the moment is ripe. And we are eager to work with the advocacy and faith communities to see religious freedom go out like light in a dark world. It’s time. Would you join us? (The Hill)Read more.

- Father, Yeshua stated that You desired all be as one just like he and the Father are one. We call into unity the Spirit, Souls and minds of all into unity. Give your Divine favor to carry this agenda to completion.

We pray that not one fall aside that You have called to participate. We declare no weapons formed against this alliance will stand. Cover Father these participants and their families with the Blood of Yeshua. In Your Name, amen.

-" . . . that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me."(John 17:21)

PARADE OF DEAD PHARAOHS IN EGYPT ON SAME DAY AS SPLITTING OF RED SEA

While Jews were celebrating the holiday commemorating the splitting of the Red Sea, a bevy of dead Pharaohs was paraded down the main street of Cairo, echoing Biblical events from nearly 3,000 years ago.

On Saturday, in an event titled The Pharaohs’ Golden Parade, the Egyptians moved 22 mummies -18 kings and four queens- with great pomp and flare from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, about 3 miles away in nearby Fustat.

The mummies, mostly from the ancient New Kingdom which ruled Egypt between 1539 BCE to 1075 BCE, were discovered in 1881 and 1898 in two caches in the ruins of Thebes, Egypt’s ancient capital, modern-day Luxor, in Upper Egypt. Most of the mummies belong to the ancient New Kingdom, which ruled Egypt between 1539 BC to 1075 BC, according to the ministry of antiquities. . .  They have been on display for more than a century in the Egyptian Museum. They will go on display on April 18 in the Royal Hall of Mummies of the National Museum.

Due to the fragility of the preserved pharaohs, they were transported in nitrogen-filled boxes carried on specially rigged vehicles that rode on roads that were repaved to make the journey even smoother.

Despite the fragility of the mummies, the cavalcade was accompanied by fireworks and ceremonial salvos from the assembled military honor guard. This military display raised to mind the significance of the day, which was the last day of Passover, the day Jewish tradition maintains the Jews left Egypt with the entire military hot on their trail, led by Pharaoh in his horse-drawn chariot. (Israel 365 News) Read more.

- "Thus Hashem delivered Yisrael that day from the Egyptians. Yisrael saw the Egyptians dead on the shore of the sea." (Exodus 14:30)

Classic Hymns

Jesus Blessed Jesus

To listen to this classic hymn, CLICK HERE

Words and Music: Charles Gabriel

Scripture: He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Hebrews 13:5

Lyrics:
There’s One who can comfort when all else fails,
Jesus, blessèd Jesus;
A Savior who saves tho’ the foe assails,
Jesus, blessèd Jesus:
Once He traveled the way we go,
Felt the pangs of deceit and woe;
Who more perfectly then can know,
Than Jesus, blessèd Jesus?

He heareth the cry of the soul distressed,
Jesus, blessèd Jesus;
He healeth the wounded, He giveth rest,
Jesus, blessèd Jesus:
When from loved ones we’re called to part,
When the tears in our anguish start,
None can comfort the breaking heart,
Like Jesus, blessèd Jesus.

He never forsakes in the darkest hour,
Jesus, blessèd Jesus;
His arm is around us with keeping power,
Jesus, blessèd Jesus:
When we enter the shadow land,
When at Jordan we trembling stand,
He will meet us with outstretched hand,
This Jesus, blessèd Jesus.

What joy it will be when we see His face,
Jesus, blessèd Jesus;
Forever to sing of His love and grace,
Jesus, blessèd Jesus:
There at home on that shining shore,
With the loved ones gone on before,
We will praise Him forevermore,
Our Jesus, blessèd Jesus.

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners

Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much"  (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God."  [Romans 13:1]
