TODAY'S TOP STORY
More Than 120 Retired Flag Officers Call On Americans To ‘Save America'
More than 120 retired flag officers are calling on Americans to rally and reject the nation’s excessive embrace of a radical leftist agenda, particularly the “antiracism” efforts the left weaponizes to suppress dissent. “Our nation is in deep peril. We are in a fight for our survival as a Constitutional Republic like no other time since our founding in 1776,” wrote the prominent group of 124 retired generals and admirals. “The conflict is between supporters of Socialism and Marxism vs. supporters of Constitutional freedom and liberty.”

The retired flag officers blasted the Democrats’ assault on election integrity, pursuit of open borders, rampant Silicon Valley censorship, re-engagement with the Iran nuclear deal, dismissal of energy independence highlighted through the elimination of the Keystone Pipeline, weaponization of the military to gaslight the public of right-wing threats, excuses for left-wing anarchists in city streets, and the recent confusion over nuclear code procedures at the White House. “Under a Democrat Congress and the Current Administration, our Country has taken a hard left turn toward Socialism and a Marxist form of tyrannical government,” the officers wrote.

. . . “The Current Administration has launched a full-blown assault on our Constitutional rights in a dictatorial manner, bypassing the Congress, with more than 50 Executive Orders quickly signed, many reversing the previous Administration’s effective policies and regulations,” write the retired officers, noting Biden has the most orders signed since President Franklin D. Roosevelt. “Moreover, population control actions such as excessive lockdowns, school and business closures, and most alarming, censorship of written and verbal expression are all direct assaults on our fundamental rights.”

The group is calling on Americans to throw out far-left politicians in favor of candidates at the federal, state, and local levels who place value in fiscal responsibility and individual rights over socialist collectivism as conditions present prime and necessary circumstances for the revival of a new 21st-century Tea Party movement.

“The survival of our Nation and its cherished freedoms, liberty, and historic values are at stake,” they wrote. (The Federalist)

Prayer:

Lord God, we pray that Your people take these important warnings from these incredible individuals seriously in Jesus name! Let us start to truly value what You value and really appreciate what we have here in America that other countries don’t have and learn to stand up and fight for it!

IT IS WRITTEN:
"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." (Galatians 5:1)

"Your troops will be willing on your day of battle." (Psalm 110:3 NIV)
FOCUS ON ISRAEL
This is the sky over Israel's coast. These rockets coming out of a Gaza are heading to Ashkelon, Ashdod, Tel Aviv and Sderot. The barrage is fierce so raise up fierce intercession!

The IDF and the Shin Bet domestic security service said Wednesday that 16 high-ranking members of the Hamas terror group, including a senior commander and weapons developers, had been killed in Israeli targeted attacks on Gaza City and Khan Yunis.

The dead were members of the Hamas high command and close associates of Mohammed Deif, head of the terror group's military wing who has himself survived numerous Israeli attempts on his life.

3. Netanyahu-Gantz Partnership Back on Table, Officials Say - Israel Hayom

The dire security situation has led to changes in the political sphere. The Arab unrest and the fact that Knesset members from the Ra'am party and Joint Arab List faction have not condemned acts of terror have hindered the chances of a Naftali Bennett-Yair Lapid government.
Within the "anyone-but-Netanyahu" camp, too, officials believe that Bennett and Lapid will have "zero legitimacy from the public to form a government supported by the Arabs," and say the Arabs themselves will find it difficult to support a government.

Additionally, others on Tuesday said that a partnership between the Likud and Defense Minister Benny Gantz was back on the table.

As a reminder, two weeks ago, Likud officials offered Gantz a two-year rotation as prime minister. Those close to Gantz said he is strictly dealing with security matters and nothing else. (Read more)

4. Israel in Chaos: Police Arrest 374 Amid Lynchings in Acre, Bat Yam - Jerusalem Post

Some 374 people were arrested throughout Israel following intense Jewish-Arab violence and riots that erupted across the country on Wednesday, amid the ongoing fighting between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
A Jewish citizen in his 30s was in critical condition after he was attacked by a mob of Arab demonstrators near Egged Square in the city of Acre. Police said he was attacked in his car by Arab Israeli protesters armed with sticks and stones.

Magen David Adom staff evacuated him to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya unconscious, in serious condition and suffering from a head injury.

Senior MDA medic, Firas Reis, said that "We were near the area when we saw the wounded man lying unconscious and suffering from a bleeding head injury. We immediately began life-saving medical treatment that included bandaging and breath support and evacuated him in stable condition for further treatment at the hospital."    (Read more)

5. Israel Approves Escalating Operation Against Hamas as Over 1,300 Rockets Launched from Gaza So Far - Algemeiner

The Israeli security cabinet approved on Wednesday night a new wave of air strikes against Hamas terror targets in the Gaza Strip, as the total number of rockets launched into Israel territory exceeded 1,300, with about 180 on Wednesday.

Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had launched a serial aerial attack on Hamas after Palestinian militants fired a massive rocket barrage night over the center of the country and the south, with the IDF killing senior Hamas military commanders in what marked the most serious fighting since the Gaza war in 2014.

Bassem Issa, brigade commander for Hamas Gaza City, is among the senior members of the terrorist group who were killed in Israeli airstrikes, according to Israel’s Security Agency (ISA).

“I congratulate the ISA, the Air Force, Southern Command and the IDF for the operation that targeted senior Hamas commanders. Whoever attacks us — will pay a severe price,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said. (Read more)

6. Dozens of Israelis, Palestinians Dead As Escalating Violence Shows No Signs of Stopping - CBN

Sirens blared, the ground shook, and many people in central and southern Israel spent the night in bomb shelters as rockets launched by terror groups in Gaza rained down nonstop overnight.

The Hamas terror group blitzed central Israel with what appeared to be the largest-ever rocket attack on Tel Aviv and surrounding areas. The barrages of rockets forced Israel to briefly suspend flights from its nearby Ben Gurion International Airport and divert flights to Cyprus. The Israeli military ordered all residents in central and southern Israel to stay in bomb shelters and authorities ordered schools south of Herzliya to close.

At least five Israelis, including three women and a child, were killed by rocket fire Tuesday and early Wednesday. Dozens more are injured across central and southern Israel. Gaza terrorists have fired more than 1,000 rockets at Israel since Monday night, according to the Israeli military. (Read more)

-  Lord God we realize that what is going on in the physical realm is just a taste of what’s going on in the supernatural. We realize this is a spiritual war and we bind ourselves to Your will and Your ways, Lord. We stand with You. We stand in Your corner and we stand with Your holy land and with Your Holy Word. Teach us how to pray, O Lord, in these difficult days. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem, amen.

1. Trump slams Biden’s ‘weakness’ over conflict between Israel and Gaza - DML News

Former President Donald Trump released a statement on Tuesday, slamming Biden for his “weakness and lack of support for Israel.”
The statement follows recent reports that Israel reportedly launched a cyberattack against Iran’s Natanz nuclear facility early, which has severely crippled the nation’s enrichment program.

According to recent reporting, the attack was in retaliation after Hamas, a U.S. designated terrorist organization that governs the Gaza strip, fired 150 rockets into Israel on Monday evening.

“When I was in office we were known as the Peace Presidency, because Israel’s adversaries knew that the United States stood strongly with Israel and there would be swift retribution if Israel was attacked,” Trump said in the statement.

“Under Biden, the world is getting more violent and more unstable because Biden’s weakness and lack of support for Israel is leading to new attacks on our allies,” he continued. “America must always stand with Israel and make clear that the Palestinians must end the violence, terror, and rocket attacks, and make clear that the U.S. will always strongly support Israel’s right to defend itself.” (Read more)
- Lord, We thank you for strong leader ship in the past administration and all President Trump did for Israel. We ask that it not go to waste! Raise up strong leaders in this administration that will fight to keep good relations with Israel and protect your holy land at all costs! Amen!

- "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! May they be secure who love you!" ( Psalm 122:6)

2. Four Governors Declare States Of Emergency Due To Gasoline Shortage - Daily Caller

Four governors declared states of emergency in response to gas shortages brought on by the Colonial Pipeline hack.

Democratic North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper declared a state of emergency on Monday due to his state’s gas shortage. Republicans Govs. Brian Kemp of Georgia and Ron DeSantis of Florida, and Democratic Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam declared states of emergency on Tuesday.

Republican South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster announced that he would not declare a new state of emergency because the state was already in one due to the COVID-19 pandemic. (Read more)

- Lord God we pray your peace over the states that are experiencing this shortage. Comfort everyone’s hearts helping them to have faith and trust in you and not panic. In addition Lord we ask that you would reveal the true intent behind this attack and who is really involved in this wicked and dangerous scheme. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

- "For nothing is hidden, except to be revealed; nor has anything been secret, but that it would come to light." (Mark 4:22)

3. BREAKING! Colonial Pipeline back online amid gas shortage following cyberattack - Fox News

The Colonial Pipeline has returned to operations following a cyberattack that snarled gas supply for the eastern U.S. for days, according to Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm.

"Following this restart, it will take several days for the product delivery supply chain to return to normal," Colonial Pipeline said in a statement. "Some markets served by Colonial Pipeline may experience, or continue to experience, intermittent service interruptions during the start-up period."

"Colonial will move as much gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel as is safely possible and will continue to do so until markets return to normal," the statement added.

Colonial said safety would be its "primary focus" following the restart. The pipeline operator will conduct a series of safety assessments to comply with federal guidelines.

"This is the first step in the restart process and would not have been possible without the around-the-clock support of Colonial Pipeline’s dedicated employees who have worked tirelessly to help us achieve this milestone," the company said.

The ransomware attack, attributed to this Russian hacking group Darkside, targeted a 5,500-mile pipeline responsible for more than 100 million gallons of fuel a day – nearly half of the East Coast’s supply. (Read more)

- Father God, we thank You for this quick answer to our prayers, to see this pipeline restored and functioning once again. We ask Your Hand of protection to rest
upon not only Colonial Pipeline, but also upon all other critical systems in our national infrastructure, keeping them from harm. In Your Name, amen and amen.

- "Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear."             (Isaiah 65:24)

4. Joe Manchin, Mark Kelly, and Kyrsten Sinema pressured to fight court-packing and keep filibuster - Washington Examiner

Three key Democratic senators, under the gun in Washington to fall in line with liberals pushing to end the filibuster and pack the U.S. Supreme Court, are facing pressure back home to push back against the wishes of Democratic leader Sen. Chuck Schumer.

By wide margins in two new polls, voters want West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin and Arizona Sens. Mark Kelly and Kyrsten Sinema to fight the changes or else.

Majorities in the polls said that they would vote to oust all three in elections if they went along with the liberals, results that could complicate their politics in the chamber.(Read more)

- Lord God, we do thank You that the constituents (voters) in these three states are now putting pressure on their senators (Joe Manchin, Mark Kelly, and Kyrsten Sinema) to not cave into the liberal agenda of their Democratic party, but to instead hold fast to governing principles based upon conservative values. Lord God, we ask for a miracle for these three senators: that You would indeed "have their back," giving each one supernatural strength to do so. In Your Name we offer this prayer, amen and amen. Amen.

- "But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.” (1 Peter 3:14)

5. House Republicans File Ethics Complaint Against Democrats Who Made Unsubstantiated Claims About Capitol Riot - Daily Caller

A group of House Republicans filed an ethics complaint Tuesday against a number of Democrats who made unsubstantiated claims that GOP members led “reconnaissance” tours before the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

complaint, first obtained by the Daily Caller, alleged three specific violations and called for an investigation by the House Ethics Committee into the behavior of over two dozen Democrats. The complaint specifically mentioned a letter sent by New Jersey Rep. Mikie Sherrill and 33 other Democrats to the Capitol Police asking them to investigate unsubstantiated claims that Members of Congress led “suspicious” groups through the Capitol Complex on a “reconnaissance” journey ahead of the riot.

The ethics complaint was sent by the top Republicans on the House Administration Committee, Illinois Rep. Rodney Davis, Georgia Rep. Barry Loudermilk and Wisconsin Rep. Bryan Steil. The complaint also noted Sherrill’s Jan. 12 comments, when she told constituents in a Facebook video that she was worried some of her colleagues had provided “reconnaissance” tours to Capitol rioters. (Read more)

- Father God, we pray that more complaints and investigations will emerge, revealing the complete truth about the source of the capitol riots on January 6th.  We ask that this scheme, designed to frame President Trump for actions not of his own doing, would be exposed, and that those who indeed were responsible for this tragedy would be indicted to the fullest extent of the law. In Your name we offer this prayer, amen and amen.

“He who speaks truth tells what is right, But a false witness, deceit.” (Prov. 12:17)

6. U.S. judge tosses NRA bankruptcy bid, letting New York seek dissolution - Reuters

A federal judge in Dallas ruled on Tuesday that the National Rifle Association cannot use bankruptcy to reorganize in gun-friendly Texas, a serious blow to the gun rights group’s effort to avoid a lawsuit in New York seeking its dissolution.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Harlin Hale said the NRA did not file for Chapter 11 in good faith, but instead filed to avoid oversight by New York Attorney General Letitia James and gain an "unfair litigation advantage" over her.
James sued to shut down the NRA in August, accusing it of diverting millions of dollars to fund luxuries for officials including longtime Chief Executive Wayne LaPierre, no-show contracts for associates and other questionable expenses.

Closely aligned with Republicans including former President Donald Trump, the NRA has long been instrumental in thwarting Democratic-backed gun control measures in the U.S. Congress. (Read more)

Lord God We ask that you would give us strategies from heaven on how to maintain and fight for our rights to protect ourselves and our families.

- "So I was rescued from the lion’s mouth. The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen." (2 Tim 4:17-18)

7. Judge orders IRS to reveal if it criminally investigated Clinton Foundation, citing records 'gap' - Just The News

U.S. Tax Court judge has ordered the Internal Revenue Service to reveal if it criminally investigated the Clinton Foundation, directing the agency to cure a mysterious "gap" in its records in the case.

Most of the proceedings in the case involving the Clinton Foundation and the whistleblowers Lawrence W. Doyle and John F. Moynihan have been sealed, but U.S. Tax Court Judge David Gustafson authorized the release of an April 22 ruling to Just the News this week.

In it, Gustafson remanded the case back to the IRS Whistleblower Office (WO), saying the agency's claim there was no criminal investigation against the Clinton Foundation "was not supported by the administrative record and thus constituted an abuse of discretion."

"The WO must further investigate to determine whether CI [criminal investigative division] proceeded with an investigation based on petitioners' information and collected proceeds," the judge ruled. "… It seems clear we should remand the case to the WO so that it can explore this gap." (Read more)

Lord God, we come before Your Throne of Grace, honoring You as the Omniscient One. You know everything and You know all of the crimes that were carried out by this specific foundation. Today, we ask that justice and righteousness will reign in this case. We pray that all of those that have been hurt by the Clinton Foundation would be vindicated. We decree Psalm 34:16 over this matter. It is written:

“The face of the Lord is against evildoers,
To cut off the memory of them from the earth.”

8. Biden ‘Sanctuary Country’ Orders Releasing Illegal Alien Armed Robbers, Drunk Drivers into U.S. - Brietbart

President Joe Biden’s administration is forcing the release of illegal aliens convicted of armed robbery, drunk driving, and drug dealing in Arizona, internal records reveal.

After taking office, Biden’s top Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials implemented “sanctuary country” orders that prevent Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents from arresting or deporting illegal aliens who are not recently-convicted aggravated felons, terrorists, or known gang members.

As a result, the orders are likely preventing about 9-in-10 deportations, have spurred a historic drop in deportations of illegal aliens, and have allowed illegal alien sex offenders, and potentially thousands of others, to be released into American communities.

In Arizona, the Biden orders are allowing convicted armed robbers, drunk drivers, those with drug convictions, and convicted arsonists to walk free out of prison instead of being taken into custody and deported by ICE agents.(Read more)

- Lord, since the current administration is clearly acting very carelessly with the border situation, putting Americans' safety at risk, we ask that You would start to speak to those on the local level who have the ability and authority to limit as many of these crossings as they can. Let each local authority govern for the sake of our safety and security. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

- “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)

9. Inflation Nation: Consumer Prices Jump 4.2 Percent - Brietbart

The Consumer Price Index climbed 4.2 percent annually in April. Compared with March, prices rose 0.8 percent.

The annual inflation figure is the largest increase since 2008. Economists had forecast a year-over-year gain of 3.6 percent and 0.2 percent for the month.

Excluding food and energy, categories that can be volatile month-to-month, “core” CPI rose 0.9 percent compared with a month ago, three times faster than the estimate. On an annual basis, core prices are up 3.0 percent, above the 2.3 percent estimated.

The inflation numbers came in so hot for April that they exceeded the top of the range of estimates of analysts surveyed by Econoday. (Read more)

- Lord God, our economy was soaring and doing so well and we give You all the praise and the glory for this fact. And we ask that, in Your mercy, You would now restore all that has been lost. Bring back to us our prosperity, good jobs, and lower prices, Lord God, so that Your people may prosper in everything their hands touch. In your name Lord God, we ask this prayer, amen and amen.

- “Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.” (Isaiah 61:7)

10. Only evangelical women’s college in US to shut down amid declining enrollment, financial difficulties - Christian Post

The board of trustees at Judson College in Alabama, which claims to be the only evangelical women’s college in the United States, has voted to close down the 183-year-old institution after failing to resolve its multi-million dollar financial deficit.

“We know this was the right decision, but there is not a person here whose heart isn’t broken over this,” Judson College President W. Mark Tew said in a statement. “I share the heartbreak of this decision that is felt by generations of Judson students, faculty, and friends.”

Judson College, an all-women’s Christian college in Marion, Alabama, affiliated with Alabama Baptist Convention, was founded in 1838 when it was rare for women to receive formal education.

The news of the school’s closure “is a somewhat unexpected end to the five-month emotional roller coaster” after the board released a hopeful report for the school’s future on April 2. Judson’s declining enrollment, budget deficits and economic burdens from the COVID-19 pandemic led to the school’s financial situation.

Mary Amelia Taylor, Judson's associate vice president for marketing & communications, told The Christian Post in an email that the staff is proud of and thankful for the students during this transition.

"They are strong, resilient women who have weathered the nightmare of this past year with hope and grace, continually reminding each other — and the rest of campus — to cherish the time and gifts we’ve been given," Taylor wrote.

"From arranging prayer times to lifting each other up with scripture, encouraging cards, emails, and social media posts, these Judson women have led our campus community in taking our every next step in the compassion and joy of the Lord.” (Read more)

[Editor's note from Sara Ballenger: my own mother and my grandmother both attended Judson College early in the past century. We are saddened by this news; and we recognize that a very fine era has now quietly come to a close in the history of our nation. Thank you, Judson!]

- Father God, we thank You for all that Judson has represented in our nation, even as we honor today the many other fine colleges and universities in America that have been training our next generation according to Your Word and Your values. We thank You that, even though a building may close its doors, its graduates will carry the light of Christ in their own hearts during the course of their lives.

And Father God, even in these dark days, we are comforted knowing that Your light can penetrate even the darkest heart, turning them to You in salvation. Thank You, Lord, for the good things we can still cherish in our own lives today. In Your name we offer this prayer of blessing and thanksgiving, amen and amen.

- " The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."        (John 1:5)

Stupidocrisy: Paying people not to work

May 12, 2021 / Bill Wilson /The Daily Jot

America always has been a capitalist economy, regulated to protect consumers and some businesses from corporate greed and graft. As the Democratic Party, led by extremist socialists, tries to remake America into a totally socialist economy, and establish itself as “Party for Life,” the rugged individualism of being “American” is the reality check, albeit not as strong as it should be. Many small to medium sized businesses are complaining that they cannot find enough workers to fill jobs because of government-fed COVID relief programs that have essentially turned into a guaranteed minimum wage where there is no incentive to work. This feeds the socialist machine at the expense of every taxpayer.

The wheels of the economy will grind to a halt if the workforce refuses to participate. Figure into the equation that trillions of dollars are being spent. We are witnessing the transition from capitalism to socialism with COVID as the excuse. Print more money. Tax more people. Import more workers from other countries. All this adds up to the Democratic Party’s and big corporate America’s globalist, socialist agenda. The Democratic Party leadership wants a guaranteed minimum wage. Republicans say “No.” So along comes COVID and creates the perfect opportunity to dish out money to people as a safety net for locking them out of their jobs—the precursor to guaranteed minimum wages AND slothfulness. S.1 Update:

Senate Panel Deadlocks on Democratic Elections Overhaul Bill

A Senate panel deadlocked on a Democratic bill to set federal standards on voting access, with Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell leading a day-long effort to thwart legislation he called a partisan power-grab.

After hours of debate on amendments, the Senate Rules Committee tied 9-9 along party lines late Tuesday on a vote to advance the legislation. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer would have to force a vote of the full Senate to bring it to the floor, but its unclear that he’ll have the support necessary with some Democrats expressing reservations about the bill.

“This is not the last you will hear, in fact this is the beginning as Senator Schumer will under his rights be able to bring the bill to the floor,” Committee Chair Amy Klobuchar, a Minnesota Democrat, said after the vote.

The bill, S. 1, is a high priority for Democrats in the face of efforts by Republican-dominated state legislatures -- spurred in part by former President Donald Trump’s false claims about fraud in the 2020 election -- to enact ballot restrictions.

As an indication of the stakes, both Schumer and McConnell made appearances at the hearing. Both are members of the Rules Committee but as leaders of their parties in the Senate, they rarely take part in panel debates.

“Let’s call it what it is,” McConnell said at the hearing. “Put aside the flowery language. This is a partisan effort to take over how you do -- how you conduct elections in our country.”

Schumer said that he would put S.1 on the Senate floor, though he hasn’t set a schedule for doing so. With Republicans uniformly opposed and some Democrats raising concerns about the sweep of the legislation, it faces long odds in the chamber. The Democratic-controlled House has already passed its version of the bill.

“This bill will go to the floor, we will see where the votes are, and go from there,” Democratic Senator Jeff Merkley of Oregon, the lead sponsor to the legislation, said. (Newsmax) Read more.

- Lord God we continue to call this evil piece of legislation down and we bind all of the demonic influences that could be clouding the minds of our senators in considering passage of S.1. We break their powers off of them in the name of Jesus, amen.

- “Therefore, submit to God. But resist the Devil, and he will flee from you.”                (James 4:7)

House Republicans oust Cheney from leadership as she vows to stop Trump

House Republicans voted Wednesday to remove Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney from her House GOP leadership position following her criticism of former President Donald Trump and his continued attacks on the 2020 election.

Cheney, who has branded herself as an "unapologetic conservative," speaking on the House floor Tuesday night, delivered a searing indictment of House GOP leaders seeking to expel her from their ranks after she voted to impeach Trump for inciting the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy did not speak after the vote concluded behind closed doors.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, asked by reporters for his reaction to Cheney's ouster and what it means for the future of the GOP, did not answer.

He made no mention of the then just-completed House Republican conference vote to boot Cheney from leadership in his Senate floor speech Wednesday morning, either.

While McConnell publicly defended Cheney in February, when she first faced a challenge in the wake of voting to impeach the former president, he has stayed silent on her fate this time around. (ABC News) Read more here.

Operation Blessing Delivers Critical Medical Oxygen to India's COVID Patients

With COVID-19 infections in the U.S. dropping to their lowest levels in seven months, India hit another grim milestone Thursday breaching the 400,000 mark for the second time.

The record daily infections continue to soar as demand for medical oxygen jumped seven-fold.

"Because of the demand for oxygen, there is no doubt a black market and so the price has gone up like three to 400 times, but the people are desperate to get oxygen," said Victor Emmanuel, with CBN's Operation Blessing International.

The hospital's director told CBN News the nationwide lack of oxygen only compounds the crisis.

"When the patients come with low oxygen saturation it is really a problem we have to refuse the patients from getting into the hospital," said Dr. Sunil Sadiq, director at Philadelphia Ambala Mission Hospital.

Dr. Sadiq says the virus is devastating many Indian lives, including many Christians.

More than 230,000 have died there from COVID so far, and experts warn deaths may double in the coming weeks

He said the hospital is more than just a place to treat patients.

"When the patient comes, we are every day, we are praying three or four times a day for the patient and when they come they feel that there is a divine power working in our hospital," Sadiq said. (Read more)

Prayers for the People of Islam

Day 30: A Message of Thanks

God’s love for the Muslim people is immeasurable! As Ramadan ends, thank you for standing with us in prayer during the past thirty days.

OUR FINAL THOUGHT:

During the past month, our messages revealed that even the most radical of Muslims could be changed with the powerful, life-changing gospel of Christ.

We have attempted to separate the Muslim people from the deception of the teachings of Islam. Because of their religious beliefs based upon the Qur’an and the Hadith (sayings of Muhammad), they are a shame-based society that lacks freedom of expression, and they follow beliefs that causes suffering in their lives. Even if a Muslim is dangerous, they were not born evil; they have been taught the doctrines they believe in that cause them to act in that manner.

People can learn to make a separation in their minds between the Muslim people and the teachings of Islam. Only a tiny percentage of Muslims are radical. All the others can be described as secular, traditional, moderate, or orthodox who want to live a normal life, enjoy their families, and be pleasing to their god.

A person can love and respect Muslim people even if they reject the teachings of Islam. As we complete this series, it is important that we have an understanding of their beliefs and be ready to unveil or expose those that are contrary to the Word of God. But above all, we remember that Jesus loves them the same as He loves us, and He died for their sins.

During this month God has stirred the hearts of Christians throughout the nations to pray for Muslims to come into His kingdom. May God bind all of our prayers together before His throne, bringing an incredible harvest of souls coming to Christ around the world. To God be the glory!

THANK YOU!

When They Ring Those Golden Bells

Words and Music: Daniel De Marbelle

Scripture: The Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces. Isaiah 25:8

Lyrics:
There’s a land beyond the river,
That we call the sweet forever,
And we only reach that shore by faith’s decree;
One by one we’ll gain the portals,
There to dwell with the immortals,
When they ring the golden bells for you and me.

Refrain
Don’t you hear the bells now ringing?
Don’t you hear the angels singing?
’Tis the glory hallelujah Jubilee.
In that far off sweet forever,
Just beyond the shining river,
When they ring the golden bells for you and me.

We shall know no sin or sorrow,
In that haven of tomorrow,
When our barque shall sail beyond the silver sea;
We shall only know the blessing
Of our Father’s sweet caressing,
When they ring the golden bells for you and me.

Refrain

When our days shall know their number,
And in death we sweetly slumber,
When the King commands the spirit to be free;
Nevermore with anguish laden,
We shall reach that lovely Eden,
When they ring the golden bells for you and me.

Refrain

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners

Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
