1. Israel Said to Carry Out Airstrikes in Syria for Second Straight Night - Times of Israel
Israeli aircraft bombed targets in Syria after midnight on Thursday, Syrian state media reported, in what would be the second such strike in less than 24 hours
SANA reported that Israeli helicopters struck in the area of the Quneitra border town in the Syrian Golan Heights, claiming that no injuries or damages were incurred.
The IDF declined to comment on the reported strikes, in accordance with its policy to neither confirm nor deny most of its operations in Syria.

2. Russia Ready to Promote Direct Israeli-Palestinian Contacts - YNET News
Russia is ready to promote direct contacts between Israel and the Palestinian leadership and working toward a high-level meeting of the Middle East Quartet mediating the Israel-Palestinian peace process, the Russian foreign minister said Wednesday.
Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said after meeting with Palestinian counterpart Riad al-Maliki, “We emphasized our readiness to facilitate direct dialogue between the Palestinians and Israelis in order to resolve all fundamental final-status issues.”
Lavrov said Russia considers it crucial to hold a ministerial-level meeting of the Quartet, which consists of Russia, the United States, the European Union and the United Nations.
Palestinian Foreign Minister al-Maliki said that the administration of U.S. President Joe Biden “is again aware of its responsibility in the Quartet....We expect that this will create a new environment of trust.” Read more)
3. Right-Wing Party Leaders to Meet with PM Today - Without Yamina Head Naftali Bennett - Israel National News
In the aftermath of the disappointment at the failure of the right-wing bloc to assemble a coalition following the recent elections, and the decision of President Reuven Rivlin to hand the mandate to MK Yair Lapid, head of the Yesh Atid party, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has invited the heads of the right-wing parties to his office on Thursday.
That is to say, Netanyahu has invited the heads of the UTJ party, MKs Moshe Gafni and Yaakov Litzman, Shas head Aryeh Deri, and Religious Zionism head Bezalel Smotrich, but has omitted Naftali Bennett, head of the Yamina party. The leaders are expected to meet at one p.m.
Behadrey Haredim reports that on Wednesday, when all the party heads were asked by President Rivlin to nominate a candidate for the task of forming a government, the Likud party attempted to persuade all the heads of the parties in the right-wing bloc – again, with the exception of Naftali Bennett – to issue a joint letter recommending that the President pass the mandate directly to the Knesset as a whole, rather than nominating a single candidate. However, the party leaders declined to sign such a joint letter. (Read more)
4. President Tasks Lapid with Forming Coalition; Bennett Would Likely Head It First - Times of Israel
President Reuven Rivlin announced Wednesday that he had tasked Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid with forming Israel’s next government, after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a day earlier acknowledged he had failed to build a coalition.
Lapid, like Netanyahu before him, has 28 days to try and form a government, though the new prime minister-designate faces an uphill battle to complete the task.
In a televised statement from his official residence, Rivlin said his “main consideration” in picking Lapid was that he had the best chance of forming a government that can win the Knesset’s backing, though this, the president said, would be difficult.
Rivlin also acknowledged that Lapid may not initially lead the government he is attempting to cobble together. The president was referring to Lapid’s declared readiness to let Yamina leader Naftali Bennett serve first as prime minister in a “unity government”; the president said that possible arrangement, under which Lapid would initially serve as “alternative prime minister,” did not prevent him from formally charging the Yesh Atid head with building a coalition. 5. Turkey, Saudi, Iran, Syria: High-Level Talks Underpin New MidEast Ethos - Jerusalem Post
Saudi Arabia’s intelligence chief went to Syria recently. This was a big move because Syria had been given a cold shoulder by leading Arab states for many years during the Syrian civil war. Saudi Arabia is also talking to Iran, and Turkey’s president spoke with the Saudi king this week.
This marks a major move for the region and looks to present a series of attempts at reconciliation, as opposed to the more Hobbesian reality of the last decade.
Martin Chulov at The Guardian notes that “the Saudi delegation was led by Gen. Khalid Humaidan, the head of the country’s General Intelligence Directorate. He was received by Syria’s Gen. Ali Mamlouk, the architect of the push to crush the early years of the anti-Assad revolution and the key interlocutor with Russian forces, which took a significant stake in the conflict from September 2015.”
Meanwhile, in Turkey, the news of the phone call between President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Saudi king is being greeted with a newfound sense of purpose in the region. Pro-Ankara media in Turkey tend to highlight past issues with the Saudis and cast Riyadh in a negative light. (Read more)

1. The New Nuremburg Trials 2021 – Breaking-News.CA
A team of over 1,000 lawyers and over 10,000 medical experts led by Dr. Reiner Fuellmich have begun legal proceedings against the CDC, WHO & the Davos Group for crimes against humanity. Fuellmich and his team present the faulty PCR test and the order for doctors to label any comorbidity death as a Covid death as fraud. The PCR test was never designed to detect pathogens and is 100% faulty at 35 cycles. All the PCR tests overseen by the CDC are set at 37 to 45 cycles. The CDC admits that any tests over 28 cycles are not admissible for a positive reliable result. This alone invalidates over 90% of the alleged covid cases / ”infections” tracked by the use of this faulty test.
In addition to the flawed tests and fraudulent death certificates, the “experimental” vaccine itself is in violation of Article 32 of the Geneva Convention. Under Article 32 of the 1949 Geneva Convention IV, “mutilation and medical or scientific experiments not necessitated by the medical treatment of a protected person” are prohibited. According to Article 147, conducting biological experiments on protected persons is a grave breach of the Convention.
The “experimental” vaccine is in violation of all 10 of the Nuremberg Codes which carry the death penalty for those who seek to violate these International Laws. 2. Biden Administration “Dead Set” on Re-Entering Iran Deal, Despite High Price – JNS
Richard Goldberg, senior adviser at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, says it “makes no sense from a U.S. negotiation posture. We’re giving up historic leverage in exchange for compliance with an already flawed deal that is already expiring.”
In recent days, conflicting reports have emerged over the ongoing negotiations in Vienna to revive the 2015 nuclear deal, leading to questions over to what extent the United States will undo Trump-era sanctions against Tehran.
Richard Goldberg, a senior adviser at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, as well as an expert on Iran negotiations and sanctions, told JNS that he believes the reports coming out of Iran reflect leaks that the Islamic regime is already declaring victory at the negotiating table with the United States giving into 90 percent to 95 percent of the sanctions relief the Iranians had been seeking.
Goldberg said it appears that the administration has offered to lift a wide range of sanctions imposed on Iran by the Trump administration, including those placed for its sponsorship of terrorism and its ballistic-missile program. (Read more)

May the current administration see the weakness of this position and not allow our nation to be compromised. Lord, please oversee this action and throw chaos into the negotiations.

3. Over a Dozen US Cities and Counties are now “Pro Freedom” Sanctuaries Against COVID measures – LifeSite News
More than a dozen cities and counties in the United States are fighting COVID-19 restrictions by designating themselves pro-freedom “sanctuaries” or by simply refusing to enforce emergency orders.
The counties are primarily located in highly regulated states – like Michigan and California – that have suffered catastrophic economic and mental health impacts amid months of business closures and mask mandates.
Late last year, county commissioners in Campbell County, Virginia passed a “First Amendment Sanctuary” resolution, declaring that “(n)o Campbell County funds will be used to restrict the First Amendment.” No funding “shall be expended to aid federal or state agencies in the restriction of said rights,” it added.
“We’re not going to utilize county resources to enforce the governor’s orders,” a district representative from the county told local news. “We’re not going to aid the Virginia Department of Health in shutting our businesses down.”
At least nine other cities and counties have passed similar “sanctuary” designations, including Burrillville, Rhode Island, Delta County, Michigan, Kosciusko County, Carroll County and the city of Mooresville in Indiana, and multiple jurisdictions in California and Texas. (Read more)

4. US/China to Assess Phase 1 Deal Soon, Biden Trade Chief Says – The Epoch Times
WASHINGTON—U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai said on Wednesday she expects to engage “in the near term” with Chinese officials to assess their implementation of the “Phase 1” trade deal between the two countries, with the outcome to influence the fate of Washington’s punitive tariffs on Beijing.
Tai told a Financial Times online event that she respects the need for continuity in U.S.-China trade policy, including the two-year trade deal implemented last year by the Trump administration.“It’s the agreement that we have, it’s the agreement that we will work from, that we will build from,” Tai said.
“I’m very much looking forward to formally meeting my Chinese counterparts and assessing their performance and measuring what they have to say, pressing our interests and backing up a path forward,” she added. (Read more)

5. Beijing Has More Millionaires than New York – The Epoch Times
Beijing has overtaken New York for the first time to become the city with the most billionaires in the world. According to Forbes’ 2021 list of the world’s richest people, released in early April, Beijing has 100 billionaires, more than New York, which has 99.
Beijing’s richest are mostly engaged in technology, e-commerce, manufacturing, education, bio-manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and real estate.
The richest person in Beijing is Zhang Yiming, founder and CEO of technology company ByteDance Ltd., with a fortune of $35.6 billion. Video sharing social platforms Douyin and TikTok, an overseas version of Douyin, are both products of the company. (Read more)

6. Biden Supports Big Tech Cracking Down on “Disinformation” White House says – The Epoch Times
President Joe Biden is supportive of Facebook and other Big Tech companies taking action to combat disinformation and misinformation, the White House said after Facebook’s Oversight board upheld the technology giant’s decision to suspend former President Donald Trump.
“The president’s view is that the major platforms have a responsibility related to the health and safety of all Americans to stop amplifying untrustworthy content, disinformation, and misinformation, especially related to COVID-19, vaccinations, and elections. And we’ve seen that over the past several months, broadly speaking. I’m not placing any blame on any individual or group; we’ve seen it from a number of sources,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters in Washington.
“He also supports better privacy protections and a robust anti-trust program. So his view is that there’s more that needs to be done to ensure that this type of misinformation; disinformation; damaging, sometimes life-threatening information is not going out to the American public,” she added. 7. Republicans: Break up Big Tech after Facebook Board Upholds Trump Ban – The Epoch Times
Congressional Republicans on May 5, upset with the decision by Facebook’s Oversight Board to uphold the company’s ban of former President Donald Trump, said they’d work to curb the technology giant’s power. “Break them up,” Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, said in reaction to the decision. Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) said the decision was “a real-life example of the tyranny of Big Tech” before echoing Jordan.
Republicans have increasingly turned critical of technology giants such as Facebook as more evidence emerges showing bias against conservatives.
“Facebook is more interested in acting like a Democrat Super PAC than a platform for free speech and open debate. If they can ban President Trump, all conservative voices could be next. A House Republican majority will rein in Big Tech power over our speech,” House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) wrote in a tweet on May 5. (Read more)

8. Florida passes bill limiting “Big Tech’s” power to silence political enemies: DeSantis to Sign – Lifesite News

9. Florida Governor DeSantis Signs GOP backed Election Bill Limiting Mail in Voting, Drop Boxes – The Epoch Times
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Thursday signed a Republican-backed election integrity law that places some restrictions on ballot drop-boxes and mail-in ballots.
When signing the bill, the Republican governor said that it would place Florida ahead of other states in preventing any potential voter fraud.
“Right now I have what we think is the strongest election integrity measures in the country,” he said. “We’re also banning ballot harvesting. We’re not going to let political operatives go and get satchels of votes and dump them in some drop box."
The bill (pdf) would require signature verification for voters; use a “wet signature” physically signed on paper kept on file; revise distance limits for people at polling places, early voting sites, and related sites; have election workers monitor ballot drop boxes; and include more identification requirements for dropping off ballots. 10. American History is Being Falsified to Sow Political Division: Mary Grabar – The Epoch Times
Mary Grabar, author of the upcoming book “Debunking the 1619 Project: Exposing the Plan to Divide America,” told Epoch TV’s Crossroads program that the controversial 1619 Project skews American history for divisive political ends.
The 1619 Project attempts to cast the Atlantic slave trade as the dominant factor in the founding of America, rather than ideals such as individual liberty and natural rights. The initiative has been widely panned by historians and political scientists, with some critics calling it a bid to rewrite U.S. history through a left-wing lens.
In the interview, Grabar criticized the project for inaccuracies such as the American Revolution having been fought to preserve the institution of slavery rather than for seeking independence from Britain. “The way the 1619 Project presents it, it’s an oversimplified form,” Grabar said, referring to the dynamics of slavery and growing opposition to it ahead of the 1776 Declaration of Independence and the Revolutionary War.
Grabar said the situation was that Britain was deeply vested in the slave trade and that, “they were actually encouraging the colonies to use slave labor, because they were leading in the international slave trade.They were making a lot of money, and they wanted the colonies to have the slaves,” Grabar insisted, adding that the reality of the dynamics around slavery in America run counter to the claims made by proponents of the 1619 Project. - Almighty God, we pray with intensity that You will step into this "rewrite of American history" by distorting the truth and leaving behind literature for the next generations to read and innocently believing they are reading truth. God, protect the younger generations from this distortion. In the mighty Name of Jesus we pray.

Every American President since Harry Truman has signed a proclamation for a National Day of Prayer–A day set aside for prayer and fasting for our nation. James 5:16 states: “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” Fervent prayer of a righteous man. And who is righteous? Romans 5:1 says, “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” And Romans 5:8 explains further, “But God commends his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” It is by Christ and his righteousness that we can take on the garment of righteousness. While, there may be many flaws in many a person, Christs brings his own before the throne of God.
If there ever were a time where our nation needs prayer and fasting it is today. This Day. And not only this day, but beyond. As is written in 2 Timothy 3:1-7, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good. Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God: Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts. Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
Does this not describe our society? A sad state of affairs. Ironic that some of the very leaders that support the National Day of Prayer are among those described in the verses above. Their daily lives are dedicated to the killing of the unborn, slandering and lying about those who disagree with their horrible and silly concepts of life—lives without God. Their hate is immeasurable for the things of God, even to deny His creation. Yet, they can piously partake in proclaiming this Day and use it for self-promotion in hopes of showing all that they truly are “good” people deserving of a vote. To those, they surely will have their reward. To us of the Way, let us not be deterred. Let us lift up our voices in mighty and sincere praise of the Lord.
Let us pray for His will to be done here on earth and in our nation, as it is in heaven. Let us thank Him for His daily provision and pray that we do not return sin for sin. Let us pray for mercy on our nation. Though we are deserving of much wrath, may His mercy and lovingkindness deliver us. Let us pray for healing among our countrymen; that tongues of division and speaking evil will be exchanged for loving one another as Christ so loved us. Yes, many will say, “we are too far gone.” But remember the parable of the mustard seed and Christ’s words in Mark 10:27, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.” As a nation, He is our hope and salvation.

Lord, we look up and see the billions of stars You created, and we praise You. We look around and see the billions of people You created in Your image; uniquely, fearfully, wonderfully, and we thank You. Wrap us in Your Spirit and unite us in Your family, Lord. Thank You for loving us first. In Your love for the whole world, You sent Your Son to save us.
Jesus, in You alone we have abundant and everlasting life. Thank you for teaching and leading us to love and live, fruitful, and faithful. In Your life, death, resurrection, and ascension You are our Lord, our love, our life, and our liberty. You came to “bind up the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to prisoners.” You have freed us from the penalty and shame of our sin; free to live life as You designed and Your destiny for our Nation.
Spirit search us, convict us, as we repent for our sin and the sins of America. Please cleanse, fill, and send us. We rejoice, knowing that Your forgiveness makes us acceptable and effective vessels for Your love, life and liberty in our family, church, education, workplace, military, government, art, entertainment, and media.
We pray that America will be united in love to serve You with all our hearts, all our ways, and all of our days. Unite us to pray, love; to live and walk by the Spirit. Conform and transform us as we pray and proclaim, “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” We pray this is the name of Jesus, Amen.

JOINT RESOLUTION
To acknowledge a long history of official depredations and ill-conceived policies by the Federal Government regarding Indian tribes and offer an apology to all Native Peoples on behalf of the United States.

Our Prayer:
Father God, we thank You and we praise You that this apology has now been presented to Congress. We ask that this resolution will find favor by the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, and be sent to the full Senate for passage.
Lord God, we so desire to offer this act of repentance to the native tribes, whose land this is. We ask for quick passage of S.J.Res.14, as a means to heal our land. In Your Name we offer this prayer, Holy One, amen and amen.

Debris from rocket may hit Earth this weekend
An incredibly large piece of space junk is set to collide with Earth’s atmosphere this weekend with pieces of debris potentially reaching the planet’s surface. On Thursday, April 29, China launched a Long March 5B rocket, a large rocket that lofted the first piece of the country’s new space station into orbit around the Earth.
The launch itself appeared to be successful, but the aftermath has created some cause for concern. The core stage of the rocket that did the heavy lifting to get the space station into orbit also entered orbit around the planet and is now falling uncontrollably back toward the atmosphere.
This will be one of the largest pieces of space junk to ever make an uncontrolled reentry with a mass of around 21 metric tons, SpaceNews said. And worse yet -- it’s unclear precisely when or where it will fall back down to Earth. Since the late-April launch, ground crews have been tracking the defunct rocket, including U.S. Space Command.
Right now, the U.S. Space Command says that it will likely reenter Earth’s atmosphere around May 8, but “its exact entry point into the Earth’s atmosphere cannot be pinpointed until within hours of its reentry.” Most of the rocket will burn up as it plunges through the atmosphere, but it is possible that some pieces will reach the surface, although how much debris makes it to the ground remains up in the air.
Despite this uncertainty, scientists know that the unusually large space junk will enter Earth’s atmosphere somewhere between approximately 41.5 degrees north latitude and approximately 41.5 degrees south latitude based on the trajectory of the rocket.
This zone does include some of the world’s largest cities, but it also includes large swaths of the vast Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean. "I don't think people should take precautions,” Jonathan McDowell told CNN. McDowell is an astrophysicist at the Astrophysics Center at Harvard University and has been posting detailed information about this upcoming event on his Twitter page.
“The risk that there will be some damage or that it would hit someone is pretty small -- not negligible, it could happen -- but the risk that it will hit you is incredibly tiny,” he added. “And so I would not lose one second of sleep over this on a personal threat basis.” (Accuweaher.com) Read more here.

'Life Is Winning': Over 500 Pro-Life Bills Have Been Introduced, 61 New Laws Enacted in 2021
According to a new report by a pro-choice research organization, more than 500 pro-life bills have been introduced at the state level so far this year. The Guttmacher Institute, a former branch of Planned Parenthood, published the report on Friday, The Christian Post reports.
Despite the federal government being under Democratic control, there has been a surge of pro-life legislation at the state level in 2021. Additionally, more than 60 have been enacted nationwide.
"2021 is on track to become the most devastating antiabortion state legislative session in decades," Elizabeth Nash and Lauren Cross of the Guttmacher Institute said in a statement. "Since January, there have been 536 abortion restrictions, including 146 abortion bans, introduced across 46 states," the report explained. "A whopping 61 of those restrictions have been enacted across 13 states, including eight bans."
The report also noted that 28 new restrictions were signed into law between April 26 and 29, which is "almost half (46 percent) of the restrictions passed so far in 2021." The pro-abortion group lamented the findings as "a devastating record."
On the other hand, the findings of the Guttmacher report were praised by Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the pro-life grassroots lobbying group Susan B. Anthony List. "The unprecedented surge of pro-life activity in state legislatures this year proves life is winning in America," Dannenfelser said in a statement. "Across the nation, state lawmakers acting on the will of the people are taking bold steps to humanize our laws and challenge the radical status quo imposed by Roe v. Wade," she added. (Read more)

In 1979, the Shah (king) of Iran was overthrown, and the nation came under religious Islamic law. Converts of Muslims to Christianity, according to Iran’s Islamic law, can face the death penalty. (Read more here)
