Senator Tim Scott and Racism
Responding to Joe Biden’s address to Congress, Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) shined a very bright light on the hypocrisy and extreme agenda of Biden and the Democratic party, and because he is a black Christian, he was ridiculed as an “Uncle Tom.” While Senator Scott said that America is not a racist country, he also exposed a racist political party—the Democratic Party. In the spirit of Jim Crow laws instituted solely by the Democratic Party after the Civil War and continue to oppress black people even to this day, the Democrats and leftists who call everybody else racist, attacked Scott for offering a truthful counterbalance to the extremism of Biden and his buddies, and their use of race as a political weapon.
Scott exposed the multi-trillion dollar Democratic plans for just what they are: extreme leftist programs designed to turn this country to socialism. These programs are deceptively named The American Rescue Plan, The American Jobs Plan, The American Families Plan and so forth. None of them are about their titles, but rather are about expanding the reach of government and lining the pockets of freeloaders so they will support the politicians advocating this redistribution of your hard-earned money. And if you disagree with these people, you may as well be dead. I’m talking about the visceral expressed by leftist politicians, left-leaning corporate bosses, and Hollywood elites. There has been no better example of their hate and racism than what they have been saying about Senator Scott since his rebuttal to Biden.
Scott attacked the divisive Democratic Party and leftist race narrative. He said, “Nowhere do we need common ground, more desperately than in our discussions of race. I have experienced the pain of discrimination. I know what it feels like to be pulled over for no reason, to be followed around the store while I’m shopping… From colleges, to corporations, to our culture, people are making money and gaining power by pretending we haven’t made any progress at all. By doubling down on the divisions we’ve worked so hard to heal. You know this stuff is wrong. Hear me clearly: America is not a racist country. It’s backwards to fight discrimination with different types of discrimination. And it’s wrong to try to use our painful past to dishonestly shut down debates in the present.” And he predicted exactly what would happen in the wake of his rebuttal.
He said, “I get called Uncle Tom and the n-word by progressives by liberals. Just last week, a national newspaper suggested my family’s poverty was actually privilege because a relative owned land, generations before my time. Believe me, I know first-hand, our healing is not finished.” Since his speech, he was labeled “Uncle Tim” on social media. Politicians and others like Jesse Jackson, who make a lot of money pretending no progress has been made, criticized the speech saying it was an “inherent contradiction” and “sick.” Racism is a heart issue. Those who would hypocritically weaponize race are like those described in Jeremiah 17:9, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” We know it when it exposes itself as it has with these people.

Focus on Israel
1. Two Days Before Deadline: Bennett meets secretly with Netanyahu - Israel National News
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Yamina party chief Naftali Bennett met in secret last week, according to a report released by Kan Sunday evening. Negotiating teams from the Likud and Yamina parties also met secretly last week, the report said.
According to the report, after the meetings, the clandestine talks between the two sides continued via telephone over the weekend, with the goal of preventing Yesh Atid chief Yair Lapid from receiving a mandate to form a coalition government should Netanyahu fail to build a coalition by the deadline.
Netanyahu has until Tuesday night to present a new government or lose the President’s mandate, which will then go either to the Knesset or to a rival candidate for the premiership. However, if Netanyahu makes progress towards forming a new government, he could request an extension from President Reuven Rivlin. (Read more)
2. 'Bennett will be PM first, Netanyahu planning minority gov't' - Israel National News
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is planning on forming a minority government based on a rotational agreement with Naftali Bennett, dividing up the premiership during the term, a senior Likud official said Sunday, according to a report by Yediot Aharonot.
Under the arrangement described by the Likud official, Netanyahu and Bennett would switch off as prime minister in the new government, with Bennett initially serving as premier.
However, officials from the opposition bloc committed to removing Netanyahu as prime minister said Sunday that Bennett has already vowed to pursue talks with Netanyahu’s rivals. Bennett, the officials said, “promised to continue negotiations if he receives the mandate” to form a new government. (Read more)
3. PM vows to punish terrorists after shooting in Samaria leaves multiple casualties - Israel Hayom
At least three Israelis were wounded in a drive-by terrorist attack in the Tapuach Junction in Samaria, a major intersection not far from Ariel.
According to first-responders, one of the victims was in critical condition and another had suffered serious wounds. Both were transported to a hospital in Petach Tikva. The third was treated for minor injuries.
It was not immediately clear where the terrorists arrived from and the IDF has launched a manhunt, placing roadblocks in the surrounding area.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to "hit back powerfully against our enemies" and said that he was "confident that our security forces will hunt down the terrorists."

4. Bennett, Shaked backing away from opposition, sources say - World Israel News
An unlikely alliance of Yemina, a party with staunch right-wing positions, and Yesh Atid, a center-Left party, together with anti-Zionist and left-wing Arab parties seems exactly that – unlikely.
For a time, it looked like the alliance was on the verge of success – and perhaps it still is – but political estimations now are that Yemina is withdrawing from its efforts to forge an opposition government, Israel Hayom reports on Monday.
Members of the opposition, or ‘change’ bloc, say that Yemina leaders Naftali Bennett and Ayelet Shaked “decided to destroy the change bloc.” They say that Yemina really intends to go with Netanyahu.
Bennett and Shaked deny this and say they are following the approach they laid out, in which they will work for a right-wing government but if that doesn’t work out they will try to form an opposition one. Their goal is to avoid a fifth election. (Read more)
5. 3 hurt, 2 seriously in West Bank drive-by shooting; IDF searching for terrorists - Times of Israel
Three 19-year-old yeshiva students were injured, two of them seriously, in a drive-by shooting at a bus stop in the northern West Bank on Sunday evening, Israeli authorities said.
The shots were fired from a passing car at the Tapuah Junction south of Nablus. The victims were all civilians, according to the Israel Defense Forces.
“IDF troops returned fire at the vehicle, which fled the scene. IDF troops are searching for the vehicle and are setting up roadblocks in the area,” the military said.
Later Sunday, the IDF said it was sending additional troops to the West Bank “in accordance with our ongoing situational assessment.” (Read more)

1. China acting 'more aggressively abroad', says Blinken - France 24
An increasingly powerful China is challenging the world order, acting "more repressively" and "more aggressively" as it flexes its influence, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in an interview that aired Sunday.
What we've witnessed over the last several years is China acting more repressively at home and more aggressively abroad. That is a fact," the top American diplomat said in an interview with CBS's "60 Minutes."
His comments came after President Joe Biden, in his first address to Congress on Wednesday, underscored that he was not seeking conflict with Beijing. (Read more)
- Heavenly Father, please give our nation and the nations of the world a keen eye to watch what is taking place in China to repress their people and what China is doing aggressively abroad. May the United States stand firm and not turn a blind eye but call China to account. Father, protect the Chinese people and the world from this evil intent. Let the fear of the Lord come upon them and put a check on any brazen actions. In Jesus Name, Amen
- "For nothing is hid that shall not be made manifest, nor anything secret that shall not be known and come to light." (Luke 8:17)
2. China shuts down Bible App, Christian WeChat as new crackdown policies go into effect - Christian Post
China’s communist authorities are continuing their crackdown on Christianity by removing Bible Apps and Christian WeChat public accounts as new highly restrictive administrative measures on religious staff went into effect Saturday.
On Saturday, new regulations on religion that China’s State Administration for Religious Affairs released in February went into effect. The regulations’ Article 16 under Chapter III states that Catholic bishops must be approved and ordained by the state-sanctioned Chinese Catholic Bishops’ Conference.
According to the interpretation of the Union of Catholic Asian News, the regulations “indirectly assert that the election of Catholic bishops will be done by the state-approved system under the Chinese Communist Party’s direction and the Vatican and Pope Francis will have no role in it […] It runs contrary to the laborious China-Vatican deal on the appointment of Catholic bishops, signed in September 2018.” (Read more)
- Almighty and Sovereign God, we stand against this Chinese crackdown on Christianity, in Jesus name. We ask that Your Holy Spirit will draw believers closer together. We pray their faith will grow stronger and that the Church will stand up to defend them. Let them take public stands against repression and not be afraid. You are their defender. Release the Word of God in many ways. Encourage Your people, we pray in Jesus Name, Amen.
- "So shall my Word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty but shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11)
3. Turkish Police Detain Hundreds at Lockdown May Day Marches - Algemeiner.com
Turkish police detained 212 demonstrators after scuffles broke out at May Day marches on Saturday amid a coronavirus-related curfew, according to the Istanbul governor’s office and Reuters witnesses.
Riot police and plainclothes officers jostled with union leaders and other demonstrators and threw some to the ground before detaining dozens of them near Istanbul’s Taksim Square, Reuters video and images showed.
Turkey this week adopted a 17-day partial lockdown, including stay-home orders and the closure of schools and some businesses, to curb a wave of coronavirus infections.
On Friday, Turkish media reported that officers were instructed to prevent people from filming or recording security forces on smartphones while they are on duty, a move critics called unlawful and a threat to citizens’ rights. (Read more)
- All Powerful Father, we take authority over these heavy handed measures in Turkey. We bind the control by the Turkish government, using fear to lockdown citizens and businesses. May their tyranny be recognized and called out. We ask for Your calm to come upon this nation. In Jesus name, Amen
- "In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you." (Isaiah 54:14)
4. North Korea warns US of ‘very grave situation’ in response to Biden speech - Washington Examiner
North Korea promised the United States will face a “very grave situation” after President Joe Biden described the country as a threat before a joint session of Congress.
“His statement clearly reflects his intent to keep enforcing the hostile policy toward the DPRK [Democratic People’s Republic of Korea] as it had been done by the U.S. for over half a century,” said Kwon Jong Gun, a senior North Korean Foreign Ministry official.
In his speech, Biden referred to North Korea as a threat to national security — a line the senior adviser described as a “big blunder” and said would cause the U.S. to find itself “in a very grave situation.”
“It is certain that the U.S. chief executive made a big blunder in the light of the present-day viewpoint,” Kwon said, suggesting the North Korean administration would pressure the U.S. to reconsider their relationship. “Now that the keynote of the U.S. new DPRK policy has become clear, we will be compelled to press for corresponding measures, and with time the U.S. will find itself in a very grave situation.”
The senior adviser did not provide any further details to clarify the comment. (Read more)
- Father, we declare and decree Your holy protection over the U.S. We ask that You would shatter the spirit of darkness and intimidation which breeds conflict between nations. Guide those in leadership to be ‘shrewd as snakes and innocent as doves’ that our administration would wholeheartedly seek Your wisdom and be in alignment with Your Will. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray-Amen.

5. Three People Were Killed After A Crowded Smuggling Boat Overturned Near The US–Mexico Border - Buzzfeed News
Three people died and 27 others were injured after an overcrowded boat capsized off the coast of San Diego on Sunday. Authorities believe the boat was being used to smuggle people into the US. It wasn't immediately known where the boat had departed from.
The overturned boat was reported by someone on shore around 10:30 a.m. Sunday near Point Loma, which is about 13 miles from the US–Mexico border. San Diego firefighters and lifeguards, along with the US Coast Guard and US Customs and Border Protection officers, responded to pull people from the water and search the area.
According to San Diego lifeguard chief James Gartland, Sunday’s incident was a mass rescue operation that included lifeguards using CPR on three victims, seven water rescues, and one cliff rescue.
Border Patrol agent Jeff Stephenson told reporters that while investigators are still looking into where the boat departed from, it’s common for smuggling vessels to enter the San Diego area from beaches on Mexico's Baja coast.
Crossing the border by sea, in crowded boats without adequate safety equipment, creates an incredibly dangerous situation for immigrants, he said. “The smugglers don't care about the people they’re exploiting; all they care about is lining their own pocket for profit,” he said. “To them, these people are just commodities; you can see that in the way they treat them.”
The captain of the boat was in custody Sunday, and criminal charges are possible. (Read more)
- Oh Holy Father, we plead Your grace and mercy over those who lost their lives and for all their extended families. Lord, we ask that You would provide for immigrants that are desperate for a better life, simply seeking for their family to survive, that they risk their lives coming to the U.S. May all corrupt leaders in their own nations be convicted by the desperate cry and needs of the people they govern. Bring greedy smugglers to justice that these heartbreaking tragedies will come to an end-Amen.
- “The rich and poor have this in common: The Lord made them both.” (Prov. 22:2)
6. Sacramento rebukes 'defund the police' movement and proposes city's highest-ever police budget - Washington Examiner
Cities across the country are slashing their police budgets following several fatal police shootings and subsequent "abolish the police” marches — but not Sacramento.
The capital of California has revealed its new 2021-2022 budget, costing a total of $1.3 billion, and it asks for more money than ever for their men and women in uniform.
"To put more money into law enforcement when we’ve said as a city we want to move in another direction, it doesn’t line up," Councilwoman Katie Valenzuela told the Sacramento Bee.
Sacramento City Manager Howard Chan announced that the new $165.8 million allocation is the highest-ever police budget, and it goes to great lengths to give the city's law enforcement officials the tools and training they need to protect their citizens.
- Father, we thank You for this news coming out of Sacramento. We offer You praise that the city officials have decided to invest funding to enhance and to equip the men and women in uniform as they work to protect their city. We also pray that the "new" strategies being introduced in this funding be used to quell the violence in the streets, bringing Your peace to rule. Thank You, Lord, amen and amen.
- "Through me, kings reign: through me, princes make just laws." (Proverbs 8:15)
7. Critical Race Theory: What It Is and How to Fight It - Hillsdale College
Critical race theory is fast becoming America’s new institutional orthodoxy. Yet most Americans have never heard of it—and of those who have, many don’t understand it. It’s time for this to change. We need to know what it is so we can know how to fight it.
In explaining critical race theory, it helps to begin with a brief history of Marxism. Originally, the Marxist Left built its political program on the theory of class conflict. Marx believed that the primary characteristic of industrial societies was the imbalance of power between capitalists and workers. The solution to that imbalance, according to Marx, was revolution: the workers would eventually gain consciousness of their plight, seize the means of production, overthrow the capitalist class, and usher in a new socialist society.
During the 20th century, a number of regimes underwent Marxist-style revolutions, and each ended in disaster. Socialist governments in the Soviet Union, China, Cambodia, Cuba, and elsewhere racked up a body count of nearly 100 million of their own people. They are remembered for their gulags, show trials, executions, and mass starvations. In practice, Marx’s ideas unleashed man’s darkest brutalities.
. . . rather than abandon their Leftist political project, Marxist scholars in the West simply adapted their revolutionary theory to the social and racial unrest of the 1960s. Abandoning Marx’s economic dialectic of capitalists and workers, they substituted race for class and sought to create a revolutionary coalition of the dispossessed based on racial and ethnic categories. (Read more)
- Lord, we come against the lie and deception of the enemy in creating forced racial conflict and oppression in our nation. Come in POWER to remove the ‘Marxist-cancer’ which seeks to destroy the U.S. ; We declare you will stop it, Abba, from infiltrating our school systems and poisoning the minds of our innocent children. Father, this nation belongs to You - Remove the veil and spirit of complacency and raise up a bold generation to declare “this far and no further and HERE shall your proud waves be STOPPED!!” Amen.
- “No human wisdom or understanding or plan can stand against the Lord” (Proverbs 21:30)
8. India's church ministers ask for prayer as country battles second wave - Christian Today
As India records record deaths and Covid-19 cases, church ministers in the country are asking for prayer. On Saturday, India became the first country in the world to record over 400,000 new cases in one day. A day later, the health ministry said a record 3,689 people had died within the past 24 hours.
Ministers from Church of Scotland partner churches in India are asking for prayer as India struggles to cope with the staggering numbers of infected. Rev Moumita Biswas, who is based in Calcutta and part of the Church of North India, said that the country had become "a valley of death". The present crisis is affecting her personally, having lost four of her relatives and a number of "close" colleagues to Covid.
"We have been in a terrible state for the past two and a half weeks," she said. "We are in a death-trap now, it has become a valley of death. Before this wave hit we just knew the numbers but now it's our family members, our relatives, our church leaders who have died." She continued, "Every Indian has someone or other in their family who has been affected. "We need support of food, which churches have been helping to provide. And, of course, prayers.
"Sharing our pain is a process of catharsis and helps to feel like we aren't alone and that our brothers and sisters are with us, which means a lot. "The greatest thing we have is prayers for each other. The other thing is to reflect your prayer into action – increase your awareness of what is happening in India, what is happening in Brazil. What has happened here can be a lesson for countries around the world." (Read more)
- Lord God, we bring before You the governing authorities and the medical community in India, asking for Your wisdom to be with them as they seek to bring this plague under control. As Aaron did under Moses' authority, our job is to stand in repentance for the sin of the people, asking for Your mercy to visit them in their time of need.
During this time of crisis in India, we stand as watchmen on the wall, sounding the alarm, and in our role as intercessors who stand in the gap for others until they, too, come to salvation. In Your Name, amen.
- "We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon You." (2 Chronicles 12:20)
9. Tupelo, Mississippi, takes direct hit from large nighttime tornado - Accuweather.com
Nearly 100,000 Mississippi residents were under a tornado emergency on Sunday night, including the city of Tupelo, as a confirmed large and destructive tornado tore through the region. Left in the wake of the night's weather was damage strewn across three communities, inflicting destruction on buildings and downing power lines.
Shortly before 10 p.m. CDT, the National Weather Service (NWS) issued a dire warning for the city of Tupelo, calling the situation particularly dangerous and life threatening as a confirmed tornado charged toward the city.
Local law enforcement has reported extensive residential damage around the Elvis Presley Museum Area in Tupelo, along with downed trees and power lines. Tupelo is the birthplace of Elvis Presley.
The city of Tupelo's Mayor's Office released a statement on Facebook on Sunday night, stating that damage had been reported throughout the city.
"Emergency crews are currently assessing the degree of damage. Please do not get out and drive. It is dangerous--there are reports that power lines are down on the roads. We will update you as soon as we know the extent of damage. Prayers that all are safe, and please keep our crews and first responders in your prayers also," the statement said. (Read more)
- Thank You, Almighty God for Your protection of the people of Tupelo, Mississippi. Thank You for the open recognition of You by the mayor and the call upon You for protection. Thank You for this town, the home of many Christian ministries including American Family Radio. We pray they all will come together and be a demonstration to the world of God's love and care. In Jesus name, Amen

10. Pro-life organizations awarded $85,000 in grants at National Prayer Luncheon for Life - Christian Post
Three pro-life organizations, including Students for Life of America, were awarded $85,000 in grants at the sixth annual National Prayer Luncheon for Life on Friday, where several prominent pro-life activists gathered to recognize the efforts of those working to end abortion.
Attendees gathered online and in person at the Gaylord Texan National Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas, to “pray, unite, save lives” and honor pro-life organizations for their impact on the movement.
“This event is designed to bring pro-lifers across America together to pray and to honor high-impact pro-life groups,” said Karen Garnett, vice president of culture for Heroic Media who's also the executive director of National Prayer Luncheon for Life, in a statement ahead of the event.
She added, “The five nominees for the 2021 National Prayer Luncheon for Life Pro-Life Impact Award have been selected for their demonstrated significant, quantifiable impact and measurable successes in saving lives and winning battles against the abortion industry.” (Read more)
- Oh Father, how we PRAISE You for this great news! Lord, bless the efforts of these organizations and multiply all they’ve been given ten thousand-fold. We ask for Your special favor over every pro-life activist who comes in Your precious name to end the sin of abortion in our nation. Work mightily Lord, that Your Power and Truth will permeate hearts in our country for repentance and change! May it all be for Your GLORY-Amen.

TYLER PERRY DELIVERS POWERFUL SPEECH ON 'REFUSING HATE' DURING OSCARS CEREMONY
"...I refuse to hate someone because they are Mexican or because they are black or white or LGBTQ. I refuse to hate someone because they are a police officer. I refuse to hate someone because they are Asian. I would hope we would refuse hate." -Tyler Perry
He urged Americans of all colors and creeds to reject the divisiveness promulgated by social media and cable news outlets.
“In this time, with all the internet and social media and algorithms and everything that wants us to think a certain way — the 24-hour news cycle — it is my hope that all of us will teach our kids, and not only remember, but just refuse hate,” Perry said. “Don’t hate anybody.”
Perry went on to dedicate his humanitarian award “to anyone who wants to stand in the middle” because “that’s where healing happens” and where “change happens.”
“So anyone who wants to meet me in the middle to refuse hate … to help lift someone’s feet off the ground, this one is for you, too,” the celebrity said. (Faithwire) Read more

90-hour Bible Reading Marathon
[This article was published last Friday, April 30th. The Bible Readathon continues through 10:00 a.m. tomorrow . . . ]
The annual 90-hour Bible Reading Marathon will kick off in Washington, D.C., Saturday as several congregations and members of Congress are expected to take turns reading from Genesis to Revelation in about four days.
The 32nd annual D.C. Bible Reading Marathon will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday. It will continue through 10 a.m. Wednesday. Hosted by the Indiana-based Bible distribution ministry Seedline International, the event will also be streamed online.
The event traditionally has taken place every spring on the West Terrace of the U.S. Capitol and has featured readings from members of Congress.
But the coronavirus pandemic postponed last year’s Bible Reading Marathon to September. This year, the impending inauguration forced the Bible Reading Marathon to find an alternate venue.
Last year, the event took place inside the headquarters of the evangelistic organization Faith and Liberty, located near the U.S. Supreme Court on Second Street. The organization seeks to take the “Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nation’s top elected and appointed officials.”
While Davidson sought to return the event to the U.S. Capitol this year, it will again take place inside the Faith and Liberty office.

News from the National Day of Prayer
FAITH COMMUNITIES NATIONWIDE PREP FOR THE NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER ON MAY 6
Join the National Day of Prayer Task Force as they, along with their sponsors, The Museum of the Bible and onecry.com, host an evening dedicated to praising God and interceding for America at 8 p.m. Eastern on May 6.
The main event will begin in the Capitol with a somber occasion. The words of 2 Chronicles 7:14 will be at the forefront of the day as those gathered in the congressional cemetery pray prayers of healing, reconciliation and repentance over the nation. The heart behind this decision comes from long-inflicted hurt against Native Americans. Dwelling on past actions is not the focus, but rather it is seeing this moment in history as an opportunity to ask, "Where do we go from here?"
Then-President Barack Obama signed off on the Native American Apology Resolution Dec. 19, 2009, which Sen. Sam Brownback proposed. The formal document was a part of the proposed defense appropriations spending bill which sought "to officially apologize for the past ill-conceived policies by the US government toward the Native peoples of this land and re-affirm our commitment toward healing our nation's wounds and working toward establishing better relationships rooted in reconciliation."
Since the apology was never publicly declared to Native American tribes, the National Day of Prayer committee took it upon themselves, along with Brownback, to make peace and repent of America's past sins. The hope and prayer behind this decision is to build bridges and enforce the belief that "Kingdom trumps nation."
Branzell spoke with Charisma News, sharing her anticipation for the event and the expectancy she has for the day to be one of joy, confession and restoration. Of this Kingdom -minded theme, Branzell says Brownback reading the apology at the start of the day sets the course for a national observance of a Biblical principle of high importance to Native Americans: healing through apology.
"Forgiveness and healing will be released across this nation, like a wind of the Holy Spirit," Branzell believes. Through modeling this attitude of repentance and confession by restoring America's relationship with its Native American population, Branzell is hopeful that all involved will learn to treat each other as image bearers again. An 'Alternative' to Hollywood: Angel Studios Raises Millions to Create Family-Friendly Content
The same media entrepreneurs who created VidAngel, Dry Bar Company and the hit series The Chosen are launching a crowdfunded movie studio that will produce enriching and inspiring content they say Hollywood lacks.
Angel Studios launched in March and quickly raised $4,999,993 – the maximum – from 4,737 investors.
The studio differs dramatically from Hollywood studios in two major ways: 1) it's crowdfunded and, 2) the audience, not Hollywood, chooses what movies and television shows are produced. For example, two projects on the Angel Studios website, the animated series Tuttle Twins and the movie The Shift, are currently seeking backers to greenlight them. (Tuttle Twins has raised $1 million of a maximum of $2.7 million, while The Shift, which needs $500,000, has raised $465,000.)
Angel Studios CEO Neal Harmon says it's a way for filmmakers to "create high-quality TV and film without entry into Hollywood." (Read more)

Muslims are taught that the majority of those who will be in hell are women. The women of Islam do not have hope for a good life, here or at death. Pray for them, that the love of God will be revealed to them in a powerful way.

About CHPP
About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners
Our Mission Statement
Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].
Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God."
