Alabama tornado kills five, leaves others injured as storms rip through the Mid-South
- Fox News

Five people were killed Thursday as tornado-producing storms ripped through central Alabama, destroying homes and structures along the way, WBRC6 reports.  Severe weather warnings were issued for the parts of the Mid-South and Tennessee River Valley, with tornados expected across the region.

The National Weather Service (NWS) declared a number of tornado warnings in Alabama, with some remaining in effect until 8 p.m. CT, as wild winds shred across the state.

"The most persistent/intense supercells will be capable of producing strong to violent tornadoes, along with very large hail and substantial damaging winds," the National Weather Service's Storm Prediction Center wrote Thursday. The strongest storms are predicted to form across parts of Mississippi, Alabama and Southern Tennessee. (Read more)

Absolute Socialism Just Around the Corner with Infrastructure Package: Rep. Ralph Norman (R- S.C.)

“Absolute socialism” is just around the corner in the United States if the proposed infrastructure bill passed Congress, according to Rep. Ralph Norman (R-S.C.).
The Democrat-led Senate is working on a major infrastructure bill that Democratic lawmakers hope will be signed by President Joe Biden by the end of September. Biden first floated the $2 trillion infrastructure bill while campaigning.
“Socialism probably is right around the corner—absolute socialism,” the Republican lawmaker and real estate developer told NTD News, expressing concern over the nation’s debt as the White House mulls how to pay for the wide-ranging bill.
The starting point for infrastructure costs stands at $320 billion from a transportation bill previously passed in the House. However, the White House has so far declined to specify an overall price tag since proposing its $2 trillion plan amid concerns of how to pay for it. Press Secretary Jen Psaki said on Monday that Biden will be discussing the proposal with his policy team “in days ahead.”
Democrats have said the package would include roughly $1 trillion for roads, bridges, rail lines, electrical vehicle charging stations, and the cellular network, among other items. The goal would be to facilitate the shift to supported “green” energy while improving economic competitiveness. (Read more)

Focus on Israel

1. Election Final Results: 59 Seats for Netanyahu, Bennett Coalition - Israel National News

The Central Elections Committee released the final results of this week's elections for the 24th Knesset Thursday evening.

According to the final results, the Likud is by far the largest party with 30 Knesset seats, Yesh Atid is second with 17 seats, and Shas is third with nine seats.

Blue and White won eight seats. Yamina, Labor, United Torah Judaism, and Yisrael Beytenu won seven seats each.

Religious Zionism, Meretz, New Hope, and the Joint Arab List received six seats each. The United Arab List just passed the electoral threshold to receive four seats.

The Netanyahu bloc received 59 seats if Yamina is included, two less than the 61 necessary to form a coalition. The anti-Netanyahu parties also cannot form a coalition (Read more)

2. After All Votes are Counted, Israelis Again Face Deadlock - Jewish Press

After 99.7 percent of the vote was counted Thursday, Israelis once again were faced with a deadlock.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s leading Likud party again was the largest with 30 votes – but with a right-wing bloc that so far has reached only 59 seats — not large enough to reach the magical necessary 61 mandates that would put an end to the endless Israeli Election Day Blues.

Here’s the full count: (Go here)

Official results will be published on Friday morning, just a few hours before the start of the Passover holiday weekend. (Read more)

3. Lapid Begins Courting Partners for Anti-Netanyahu Coalition - Jerusalem Post

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu failed to win a majority for his political bloc in Tuesday’s election, according to results released on Thursday night by the Central Elections Committee, making opposition leader Yair Lapid the most likely candidate to receive a mandate to form a government.

The Likud won 30 seats, Yesh Atid 17, Shas 9 and Blue and White 8. There are four parties with seven seats: Yamina, Labor, United Torah Judaism and Yisrael Beytenu.

The four parties with six seats are the Joint List, Meretz, New Hope and the Religious Zionist Party. Ra’am (United Arab List) narrowly crossed the 3.25% electoral threshold with four seats.

Netanyahu’s camp of Likud, Shas, UTJ and the Religious Zionist Party, together with Yamina, remained at 59 seats, two short of a majority. The remaining 61 MKs are committed to replacing Netanyahu, with the exception of Ra’am, which has said it would be willing to join either side. (Read more)

4. Major European Powers Vote in Favor of Anti-Israel UNHRC Resolution - Israel Hayom

The United Nations Human Rights Council on Tuesday passed a resolution critical of Israel with the support of major European powers, including Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Italy.

The motion was adopted with a 22 to 6 vote, along with 8 abstentions.

The resolution featured 19 paragraphs criticizing Israeli policies regarding Palestinians living in the West Bank, east Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip.

Only one paragraph mentioned rockets being fired at Israel from terrorist organizations located in the coastal enclave.

UN Watch, a pro-Israel NGO, slammed the UNHRC resolution, accusing the international body of anti-Israel bias. (Read more)

5. Report: Head of Israel’s Security Service Warned Abbas Not to Run or Form Government with Hamas in Upcoming PA Elections - Algemeiner

The head of Israel’s Shin Bet security service told Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas not to run or form a government with Hamas in the upcoming PA elections, Axios reported Wednesday.

According to the report, Shin Bet chief Nadav Argaman met with Abbas in Ramallah to urge him not to collaborate with Hamas out of concern in the Israeli security establishment that the Islamist terrorist group may exploit electoral success to take over the West Bank, as it did in Gaza.

Palestinian officials have claimed Argaman told Abbas to cancel the scheduled May 22 elections, but that Abbas refused.

Israeli officials have denied this, but said that Argaman did tell Abbas that a government that included Hamas would cause a serious crisis in PA-Israel relations. (Read more)

1. Graham blasts Biden’s lack of ‘situational awareness’ on southern border surge - Fox News

Republicans were not happy with President Biden’s assertion that his policies were not to blame for the surge in migrants at the southern border. "It’s clear he does not have the situational awareness he needs to understand what is going on at the border or how to fix it," Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said of Biden’s response to immigration questions in his first news conference as president. "What he did today was entice people to come, not deter them from coming," Graham later added of Biden's performance.

Biden was asked Thursday whether he had rolled back Trump-era immigration policies "too quickly." He said those policies, such as the "Remain in Mexico" policy, funding for the border wall and interior immigration enforcement mechanisms, "were not helping at all, did not slow up the amount of immigration."

"Rolling back the policies of separating children from their mothers?," the president said.

"I make no apologies for ending programs that did not exist before Trump became president that have an incredibly negative impact on the law -- international law -- as well as on human dignity. And so I make no apologies for that," Biden said. rump ended family separation at the southern border after fierce pushback.

"The Trump policies created dramatic decreases in illegal immigration," The South Carolina Republican continued, adding that Biden’s policies created a "virtual human tsunami."

"What’s sad is that President Biden doesn’t understand the basics about the current dynamic at the border and the "pull" factors of illegal immigration," Graham continued.

- Father God, we continue to pray in the Spirit over all matters related to Joe Biden. We ask that Your hand of protection would rest upon him, and that You would
strengthen his mental abilities to meet the task that has been set before him. Amen.

2. Are we staring at a coming systemic breakdown & the end of capitalism? - Zerohedge

For any problems they face, governments all over the world are now conditioned to simply deficit spend or issue new $trillions in ‘thin air’ currency. So how 'in danger' are we of that recklessness leading to a breakdown of the entire system?

Respected financial analyst Michael Every suspects we’re closer than most realize.
As governments continue to flood the world with debt-funded stimulus, they not only fan the flames under the social powderkeg of wealth inequality, but they are destroying their own powers in the process.

Up until the Great Financial Crisis, a dollar in new federal debt issued resulted in more than $1 in incremental GDP. But no longer: That indicates the government is now at the ‘pushing on a string’ phase.

It can’t grow out of its problems. Issuing new debt only digs the insolvency hole deeper at this point. (Read more)

- Lord God, help us during this critical time of economic unknowns and instability. We plead the blood of Christ over the U.S. to remain a Free-Capitalist Nation. Protect the financial blessings of our country, O Lord, that many may see Your Hand of rescue and provision. In Your mercy, save the U.S economy from ever becoming entrapped in a cycle of oppression and poverty. In Jesus name, Amen.

- “You can make many plans but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.”  (Proverbs 19:21)

3. Federal Reserve’s Digital Dollar Push Worries Wall Street – Yahoo.com

(Bloomberg) -- The financial services industry, braced for what could be its biggest disruption in decades, is about to get an early glimpse at the Federal Reserve’s work on a new digital currency.
Wall Street is not thrilled.
Banks, credit card companies and digital payments processors are nervously watching the push to create an electronic alternative to the paper bills Americans carry in their wallets, or what some call a digital dollar and others call a Fedcoin.
As soon as July, officials at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which have been developing prototypes for a digital dollar platform, plan to unveil their research, said James Cunha, who leads the project for the Boston Fed.
A digital currency could fundamentally change the way Americans use money, leading some financial firms to lobby the Fed and Congress to slow its creation -- or at least ensure they’re not cut out. (Read more)

- Father, we all feel the quick pace of changes rushing over the U.S with the world-wide testing of digital currency. We ask you Lord to direct our nation, giving Your wisdom and insight, that we may be lead by Your Will alone. Let us not fall by succumbing to world pressure or being swayed by the evil one towards any future plans of a New World Order. We trust and praise You Lord, as our Immanual, ‘God with us’! Amen.

- “So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you not abandon you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6)

4. EU Summit to Tackle Vaccination Drive, Vaccine Passports – DW

The European Union heads of state and government are meeting to talk pandemic strategies and diplomacy. They are also set to welcome Joe Biden at the videoconference
European Union leaders are discussing pandemic strategies on Thursday amid pressure over COVID-19 vaccine shortages and a potential third wave.  The bloc is also set to welcome a guest appearance by the United States President Joe Biden.

Some EU member states, including France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, have been battling a fresh spike in coronavirus cases. Plans for an in-person summit were abandoned in the build-up to the event. On top of the agenda is speeding up the vaccination drive, which has been slower than in Britain and the United States.

What about speeding up vaccination?

A slow rollout, delivery delays and overall vaccine shortages have led the EU to consider curbing vaccine export. On Wednesday, the EU Commission tightened vaccine export requirements amid a post-Brexit row with the UK. (Read more)

- Father God, we ask that You will give wisdom to the EU virtual conference leaders. May they not be governed by fear or control. May plans to share vaccines  be determined by supply and not speed. May Mr. Biden add to the discussion and not distract. In Jesus name, Amen

5. Updates on CCP virus: Utah Governor Signs Bill Lifting Statewide Mask Mandate – The Epoch Times

Utah’s mask mandate will end April 10 after the Republican governor signed a bill that lays out a new timeline for lifting some of the state’s CCP virus restrictions.
Masks orders will remain in place for schools and gatherings of more than 50 people. Businesses can also choose to require them. Gov. Spencer Cox signed the measure on Wednesday, the same day that vaccinations opened to all people aged 16 and older. (Read more)

- Thank You Heavenly Father that Governor Cox is ending the mandate for masks in Utah. May these relaxed regulations open the hearts and minds of people in Utah. May the virus not spread any farther and let there be freedom for people to go about their business. In Jesus Name, Amen

6. The number of Americans on Jobless Benefits Rose Last Week Despite initial Claims Drop- Zerohedge

The number of Americans filing for first-time jobless benefits last week fell to 684k - the first drop below 700k since the start of the pandemic as Texas chaos filters out of the data.
However, some context shows we are still dramatically above pre-COVID norms...
Pandemic emergency claims rose to a new record, even as the 'normal' continuing claims dropped back below 4mm...
Finally, we note the total number of Americans claiming some form of unemployment benefit disappointingly rose last week, back above 19 million... (Read more)

- Father God, while we are thankful that there are benefits for those unemployed  who deserve them, we pray that no one would walk away from a job to claim benefits. We also ask that no false claims or unqualified people would take advantage of the system. Let there be a thorough vetting of the people applying. Lord, let us open up our economy and encourage people to desire to work and not be idle or afraid. In Jesus Name, Amen

7. Education Secretary: Too soon to say all children will be back in school in the Fall – The Epoch Times

It’s too soon to confirm that all K-12 students in the United States can resume in-person learning in the fall, Education Secretary Miguel Cardona said on Wednesday.

“It’s premature to tell. One thing that I know as a former commissioner of education, COVID-19 numbers will dictate how we move to reopen schools. So, it’s not just about what’s happening in the schools, it’s about what’s happening in the community. If, as members of our community, we can follow those mitigation strategies to make sure that our schools are safe places for our students and for our staff, we should have students in school next year. We should have them in school in the spring,” Cardona said during an appearance on MSNBC.

“I really want to move forward this spring to safely reopen schools as much as possible, for K-8 is the goal, but we also know we have high schoolers that are waiting for their drama club to start, for their band, for those graduation ceremonies that are so important. So, we really need to make sure we’re following the mitigation strategies and doing everything to get our students in school now.” (Read more)

- Father, make a way for these kids to return to school safely, so they can enjoy each other, their clubs, and classes.

8. Biden stays in Washington as lawmakers and White House officials visit migrant child facility in Texas - Washington Examiner

White House officials and lawmakers headed to the southern border Wednesday for a surprise trip to an influx facility that temporarily houses unaccompanied children, but President Biden skipped the trip despite Republicans' calls for him to see the crisis in person. The trip would have been Biden's first visit as president to a facility responding to the influx of children, families, and adults from Mexico, for which Republicans have blamed him. The group is only visiting a Department of Health and Human Services facility and not touring the border or looking at Border Patrol stations and facilities, which are overcrowded with people being held longer than the three-day cap.

The White House announced Wednesday morning that staff and members of Congress would travel to the Office of Refugee Resettlement's facility in Carrizo Springs, Texas, which had stopped accepting children from the Border Patrol after the coronavirus positivity rate spiked past 10%. HHS said Tuesday that it was opening another facility on the property that would be a set of tents outside.

The federal government has opened overflow facilities in Midland, Texas; Pecos, Texas; Carrizo Springs; and Dallas to hold more than 15,000 children in custody. The uptick of children follows the Biden administration's decision in January to stop returning minors to Mexico, as was the policy in the final 10 months of the Trump administration. Children were sent back to their home countries to avoid filling government immigration facilities with people during the pandemic.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Tuesday that the White House's message to migrants is that "it is not the time to come, it is not a safe journey to make, that we are turning away people at the border, the majority of people are turned away at the border. But at the same time, we believe it is the humane and moral step to treat and ensure ... that these children are in safe places when they come across the border.” (Read more)

- Father God, as these dignitaries, from both political parties, visit these sites later today, we ask that they will see all that they need to observe, in order to bring order out of chaos and to set wise policies for the care of these migrant children. Help us, O Lord, we pray, amen and amen.

"Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:14)

9. As Cartels Get Stronger Due to Border Chaos, More Violence Expected in US – The Epoch Times
Mexican cartels are getting stronger as the Biden administration weakens security at the border, according to several current and former law enforcement officials.
Most cartel violence occurs in Mexico as different factions fight for territory along the border into the United States. Smuggling drugs and humans is their primary business, and they control the border.
But the cartels are also embedded inside the United States, and indications point to more violence stateside this year, according to Jaeson Jones, a former captain for the Texas Department of Public Safety, where he ran the border security operations center.
“The game has changed now,” Jones told The Epoch Times on March 3. “They don’t fear us. It’s just not like it used to be. And you can’t blame them. I mean, they have no reason to—we’ve done nothing to contain them. They’re just completely out of control.”
Jones said cartels will “absolutely” cause more violence “everywhere, much deeper” into the United States. He said the problem with cross-border crime and cartel violence is that it’s not identified as such in the FBI’s uniform crime data system. (Read more)

- Father, we intercede over this crisis at our borders. Protect our cities from violence! Give strategies to those lawmakers who are working to secure the border and convince the Biden administration to act!

"The mouth of the godly person gives wise advice, but the tongue that deceives will be cut off. The lips of the godly speak helpful words, but the mouth of the wicked speaks perverse words."  (Proverbs 10:31-32)

10. Sen. Marsha Blackburn demands vote on her 'End Child Trafficking' bill as unaccompanied minors flock to border - Fox News
Tennessee Sen. Marsha Blackburn demanded a floor vote Thursday on her proposed "End Child Trafficking Now Act," which would make DNA tests mandatory for any adult alien attempting to enter the U.S. with a minor.

"Minors are especially vulnerable to trafficking and are often forced to perform sex acts," Blackburn said. "Making DNA tests mandatory on anyone claiming a family relationship with a minor will send a powerful message that traffickers will be caught and aggressively prosecuted."

Separately, she told Fox News Wednesday that cartels were exploiting minors, forcing them to act as mules and carry drugs across the border between Mexico and Arizona.

"They put a wristband on them that shows they’ve either paid their fee [to be smuggled across across] or they need to work that fee out," she said. "That’s called indentured servitude: Work that fee out once they get to the U.S. This is through sex trafficking, human trafficking, labor gangs, MS-13 and other gangs."

Sens. Blackburn, Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, Thom Tillis, R-N.C., and Mike Rounds, R-S.D., introduced the bill Wednesday.

"Unaccompanied children are passing through our border with the help of strangers and members of cartels, putting these children at an increased risk of sexual abuse and human trafficking," Tillis said in a statement. "This is completely unacceptable and the Biden administration’s response has been severely lacking." (Read more)

- Father God, we thank You for Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn, one who has always stood strong in righteuosness, with unwavering faith in You, O Lord. We ask that this bill would find favor quickly in both the House and the Senate, and would be passed into law "asap." There is no time to delay!

- "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters," (Colossians 3:23)

The Daily Jot

Creating a problem to solve it with more problems

The Daily Jot, March 25, 2021

Department of Homeland Security data analyzed by Breitbart News reveals that between February 1 and March 22, the Biden Administration released nearly 23,430 border crossers into the US interior after apprehending them at the US-Mexico border, and another 130,000 escaped apprehension. Biden’s ending of Trump-era border security and publicizing an open border policy has created a humanitarian, sex and human trafficking, and national security crisis. Biden, while denying the situation is a crisis, put a gag on officials from talking about it to the news media. Senate Democrats Wednesday blocked a resolution stating the influx of migrants at the border constituted a crisis. Now Vice President Kamala Harris says otherwise.

After months of creating a crisis, denying it is a crisis, calling for volunteers to help, and refusing to discuss it with the news media, Biden is now appointing Harris to handle the issue. At the White House, Biden, in a rambling and delusional announcement behind a mask, blamed the Trump Administration for its draconian border policies and for separating children at the border, saying that despite these things, there was a surge of illegal border crossings that America is now experiencing. He said, “This new surge we’re dealing with now started with the last administration but it’s our responsibility to deal with it humanely and to stop what’s happening,” Harris accepted the job by saying that she can handle the “problem” at the border because she chew gum and walk at the same time.

Earlier on Wednesday’s “CBS This Morning,” Harris admitted, “Well, OK, look, it’s a huge problem. I’m not going to pretend it’s not. it’s a huge problem. Are we looking at overcrowding at the border in particular of these kids? Yes. Should these kids be in the custody of HHS, the Health and Human Services instead of the Border Patrol? Yes. Should we be processing these cases faster? Yes.” Then she pivoted to blaming the Trump Administration for the problem, saying “This is, however, not going to be solved overnight. There are things that we need to do, especially since there was a system in place previously, before the last administration, to allow us to process these kids in their country of origin, that was dismantled.”

Setting expectations low, Harris said, “We’ve got to reconstruct it. It’s not going to happen overnight…Look we’ve been in office less than a hundred days we’re addressing it, we’re dealing with it, but it’s going to take some time, and are we frustrated? Are you frustrated? Yes, we are.” Their solution appears is to pay other countries your hard-earned tax dollars to keep their people at home—this didn’t work in Obama-Biden Version 1.0 and it won’t work now. Biden invited this crisis and it benefits the globalist agenda, drug dealers and human traffickers at the expense of human pawns, including children, and tax-paying American citizens. Ephesians 5:6 says, “Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things comes the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.” Also, the consequences of unwise and scurrilous agendas.

WI Legislature Votes to Investigate 2020 Elections

“The Republican-controlled Wisconsin Assembly passed a resolution Tuesday to authorize an investigation into the 2020 presidential election that President Joe Biden narrowly won in the state.

The resolution, opposed by Democrats, is needed to give the committee authorization if it decides to issue subpoenas to compel testimony and gather documents, said Rep. Joe Sanfelippo. He is vice-chairman of the Assembly elections and campaign committee that would conduct the probe.

The resolution authorizing the investigation passed on a 58-35 party line vote, with all Republicans in support and all Democrats against. It passed after Republicans last month ordered an audit of the election results.

Republicans said they wanted to gather more evidence to see if laws were broken, but Democrats said they were trying to score political points, undermining the public’s faith in elections and insulting election clerks, poll workers and others who ran the election.” (Intercessors for America and the Associated Press) Read more here.

- Father, help truth and justice to be revealed in this investigation. Amen. [Prayer offered by IFA]

-"Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”(Matthew 18:19)

More about that Press Conference . . .

Watch: Joe Biden Lapses Into Nonsense During First Solo Press Conference as President

If the point of this news conference was confidence, it might have missed by a mile.

President Joe Biden’s first foray into the allegedly unscripted world of the presidential news conference – a medium his predecessor handled with ease – showed some serious drawbacks in the chief executive’s abilities.

And lapsing into nonsense at one point only made those doubts all the worse.

Check out this particularly cringe-worthy moment.
(See article to view this video.)

There’s no other way to put it than that’s simply embarrassing.

It’s embarrassing for Biden. It’s embarrassing for Biden’s family. And it’s embarrassing, most of all, for the country that has a clearly declining septuagenarian as its leader.

And the country noticed. (The Western Journal) Go here.

'Therefore Choose Life': Mississippi Gov. Signs Bill Outlawing Abortion of Down Syndrome Babies

Mississippi’s Republican Gov. Tate Reeves has signed a new bill into law that would protect down syndrome babies from abortion.

According to Faithwire, the Down Syndrome Information Act, also known as Hudson’s Law, requires doctors to provide educational information to parents of preborn children who are newly diagnosed with Down Syndrome.

The bill passed with wide bipartisan support in both state legislative chambers.

The name behind Hudson’s law was taken from Hudson Hartman, a two-year-old Mississippian who has Down Syndrome. Last summer, Gov. Reeves signed another bill, the Life Equality Act, into law banning discrimination abortions based on race, sex, disability, or genetic makeup. At the time, Husdon and his mom both served as lobbyists for the legislation.

The recent signing of the legislation was praised by pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List. (Christian Headlines) Read more.

Classic Hymns

O I want to see Him!

When He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. (1 John 3:2)

To listen to this classic hymn, CLICK HERE

Words and Music: Rufus Cornelius

Lyrics:
As I journey thro’ the land,
Singing as I go,
Pointing souls to Calvary—
To the crimson flow,
Many arrows pierce my soul
From without, within;
But my Lord leads me on,
Thro’ Him I must win.

Refrain

O I want to see Him,
Look upon His face,
There to sing forever
Of His saving grace;
On the streets of glory
Let me lift my voice,
Cares all past, home at last,
Ever to rejoice.

Refrain

When in service for my Lord
Dark may be the night,
But I’ll cling more close to Him,
He will give me light;
Satan’s snares may vex my soul,
Turn my tho’ts aside;
But my Lord goes ahead,
Leads whate’er betide.

Refrain

When in valleys low I look
Tow’rd the mountain height,
And behold my Savior there,
Leading in the fight,
With a tender hand outstretched
Tow’rd the valley low,
Guiding me, I can see,
As I onward go.

Refrain

When before me billows rise
From the mighty deep,
Then my Lord directs my bark;
He doth safely keep,
And He leads me gently on
Thro’ this world below;
He’s a real friend to me,
O I love Him so.

Refrain

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much"  (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God."  [Romans 13:1]
