HAPPY FIRST NIGHT OF PASSOVER!
What is Passover?
"In the Land of Egypt"
“Now the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt…” (Exodus 12:1, NKJV).[i]
This chapter details the exodus from Egypt, the laws of the Passover, and the plague of the first-born. But it opens with an intriguing phrase, “in the land of Egypt.” Since we know the story is unfolding in Egypt, why is it necessary for God to reiterate an obvious fact?
The Passover is one of the most significant events in Jewish history, and on a cursory level, we understand the meaning of this feast. God fulfilled His promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to bring the Israelites out of Egypt, to free us from the bondage of slavery and bring us into the land of Canaan that He promised to our forefathers.
Messianic Jews and increasingly more Christians are seeing the spiritual correlation in the Passover to the giving of the new covenant in Yeshua; His death, burial and resurrection, and our freedom from the bondage of sin, which is akin to spiritual slavery. But how can we connect Yeshua to the Passover and our exodus from Egypt? And, do we fully comprehend the depth of God’s inconceivable work and the full measure of His cost to redeem us, both physically and spiritually? For a more in-depth view let us turn to Midrash Exodus Rabba 15:5:[ii]

CCP Adviser Outlined Detailed Plan to Defeat US, Including Manipulating Elections
A leading Chinese professor—who is also an adviser to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)—laid out a comprehensive plan for the communist regime to overthrow the United States as the world’s superpower.
The professor’s multi-pronged strategy involves a range of malign actions to subvert the United States while strengthening the Chinese regime. They include: interfering in U.S. elections, controlling the American market, cultivating global enemies to challenge the United States, stealing American technology, expanding Chinese territory, and influencing international organizations.
The plan was explained in detail by Jin Canrong, a professor and associate dean of the School of International Studies at Beijing’s Renmin University of China, in a July 2016 speech on “Sino-U.S. Strategic Philosophy” given over two full days at Southern Club Hotel Business Class in south China’s Guangzhou City.
“We want to be the world leader,” Jin said, explaining Chinese Leader Xi Jinping’s desire for a “national rejuvenation” of the country. (The Epoch Times) Go here.
- Lord God, we are not pleased to read this news, but we are grateful that this
hidden agenda has been exposed. Lord God, we ask You to move upon the
hearts of our leaders to be wise to the globalist agenda of the CCP, and to
set a policy in place to protect our own people. Amen.
- "Now then, you kings, use insight;
Let yourselves be instructed, you judges of the earth.
Serve the Lord with reverence
And rejoice with trembling." (Psalm 2:10,11)

Mexico Deploys Almost 9,000 Troops to Stem Flow of Migrants From Northern Triangle to US Border
Mexico has deployed 8,715 troops to its southern and northern border to prevent migrants from the Northern Triangle countries from reaching the U.S.-Mexico border, as the United States faces a surge of illegal immigrants from Central America.
The Mexican military has set up 347 immigration checkpoints along three main routes in Mexico—the Gulf, Central, and Pacific, Mexico Secretary of Defense Luis Cresencio Sandoval said during a news conference on Monday.
Sandoval’s announcement comes as the Biden administration is sending a delegation to Mexico to discuss the ongoing immigration crisis.
Although the Biden administration has refused to use the word crisis to describe the surge of illegal immigrants crossing the U.S.-Mexico border, the administration’s top two officials will travel to Mexico and Guatemala this week to speak with officials about how they can help stem the surge of migrants arriving at the southern border.
Roberta Jacobson, the Obama administration ambassador to Mexico who now serves on President Joe Biden’s National Security Council, and Juan Gonzalez, the council’s senior director for the region, are meeting with their Mexican counterparts on Tuesday, Mexico Director for North American Affairs Roberto Velasco Alvarez said on Twitter Monday. (The Epoch Times) Read more.
- Lord God, we thank You that Mexico is taking this drastic action to curb the flow of migrants from coming to America from Central America. We pray that the nation of Mexico be richly blessed as a result of this move. In Your Name, amen.
- "Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 18:19)
South Dakota Governor Signs Bills to Protect Gun Rights
Republican South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem signed into law three bills concerning gun ownership and the use of deadly force earlier this week, fortifying Second Amendment protections for gun owners in the state.
The laws include restrictions for gun seizure and fee reductions for concealed-carry permits, as well as clarification for the use of deadly force for self-defense—also known as the “stand your ground” law.
“A person is justified in using or threatening to use deadly force if the person reasonably believes that using or threatening to use deadly force is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to himself, herself, or another, or to prevent the imminent commission of a forcible felony,” reads House Bill 1212.
“A person who uses or threatens to use deadly force in accordance with this section does not have a duty to retreat and has the right to stand his or her ground, if the person using or threatening to use the deadly force is (1) Not engaged in a criminal activity; and (2) In a place where the person has a right to be,” the legislation states. Our Weekly Call to Repentance
Dear Saints,
A lifestyle of REPENTANCE is so close to the heart of God.
Indeed, He commands us to " "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!" (Matthew 3:2)
How, then, can we approach His Throne of GRACE, in repentance?
We invite you to join us every week on Sunday evening, as we explore this vital topic together. We present a different prayer focus each week, leading us into repentance, so that we might approach His Throne of Grace in repentance, presenting ourselves to Him as a pure and a spotless Bride, without spot or wrinkle. (Ephesians 5:27)
Praying together, we desire to fulfill the mandate of Psalm 139:
" Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; 24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting." (Psalm 139:24)
You can join us, any Sunday evening, at 10:00 p.m. EST by calling:
712-770-5350
Access Code: 150411#
WELCOME!
". . . and if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
"Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place." (2 Chronicles 7:14,15)
