Hurricane Ian Heads Toward Potentially Catastrophic Strike On Florida

Hurricane Ian is gaining strength in the Gulf of Mexico and headed for a potentially catastrophic strike on Florida beginning Wednesday.
Ian rapidly intensified into a major hurricane overnight Sunday night, then made landfall in western Cuba two hours later.
Any final preparations for Ian in Florida should be rushed to completion since conditions are deteriorating in South Florida, and will steadily do so in central Florida.

Federal Judge Issues Temporary Restraining Order Against Group Involved in ‘2000 Mules’ Documentary
|
|
A federal judge has temporarily restrained a Texas organization involved in the documentary “2000 Mules” from accessing any more of Konnech computers and ordered it to provide information on how it was able to tap into the company’s network.
Konnech is a Michigan-based elections logistics company founded by Eugene Yu.
“The Temporary Restraining Order [TRO] is in the public interest because it is in the public’s interest to enjoin conduct that the United States Congress has found to be unlawful, to prevent the disclosure of personal identifying and banking information, and the TRO would, in fact, benefit the public’s expectation of integrity in the U.S. election process,” U.S. District Judge Kenneth Hoyt wrote in his Sept. 12 order.
Konnech sued True the Vote in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas on the same day the TRO was issued, alleging that True the Vote president Catherine Engelbrecht and board member Gregg Phillips violated the federal Computer Fraud and Abuse Act while defaming Yu.
“Defendants are in business to capitalize [on] their claim that the 2020 presidential election was ‘stolen,'” wrote Yu’s attorney Constantine Pamphilis in the complaint. “Defendants most recently capitalized on their claims of election fraud through their involvement in the production of a so-called ‘documentary’ titled ‘2000 Mules’.”
“2000 Mules” claims that significant fraud occurred in the 2020 presidential election. Conservative commentator Dinesh D’Souza, who directed the documentary, is not named as a defendant in the lawsuit. (Epoch Times) Read more here.

Mastriano: Biden DOJ ‘Trying to Intimidate’ Conservatives Through Arrest of Catholic, Pro-Life Father

Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate and state Sen. Doug Mastriano warned Monday that President Joe Biden’s administration sought to “intimidate” anyone “on the political opposition” through the arrest of a Catholic, pro-life father last week.
Mastriano referred to the early Friday morning arrest of Mark Houck, whose wife told Life Site News that 25-30 FBI agents entered their home around 7 a.m. with “big, huge rifles” to arrest her husband as their children watched, crying and screaming, from the top of the stairs.
“They are absolutely trying to intimidate not just pro-lifers, but anyone on the political opposition,” Mastriano told The Daily Signal.
“The DOJ has absolutely been weaponized against not just pro-lifers but anyone that is considered political opposition, whether it is Second Amendment defenders or anyone that Joe Biden disagrees with,” he continued. “Anyone that supports [Donald] Trump or asks questions about election integrity.”
The Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate, a retired U.S. army colonel, referenced the dramatic way in which Houck was reportedly arrested, pointing to reports that agents had their weapons drawn and asking, “Are you kidding me?”
“Aside from smashing the door down, this is the kind of operations we conducted in Afghanistan against heavily armed insurgents that had been killing Afghans and Americans,” he added. “You don’t do this. This is not proportional, and it’s not justified, it’s chilling, and it needs to stop.”
The drama is by design, Mastriano warned.
“It’s to send a message, this is intimidating and scary that the DOJ, together with the FBI, sadly, has been weaponized against the average citizens of Pennsylvania … Someone has to hold up a BS flag and say, ‘Stop.’” (The Daily Signal) Read more here.

1. Record number of Jews visit Temple Mount on Rosh Hashana, Arabs riot for 3rd straight day - World Israel News
Throughout the holiday of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, which was celebrated from Sunday evening until Tuesday sunset, Israel Police operated around the country with increased numbers in order to maintain peace and public safety.
In Jerusalem, the police provided security for an estimated 1,000 Jewish worshipers – a record number – who ascended the Temple Mount in the Old City, while maintaining freedom of worship of all religions
Israel security forces acted over the holiday against violent disturbances on the Temple Mount area, including attacks on policemen. Some rioters barricaded themselves inside the mosques there. (Read more)

2. Arabs Riot in Jerusalem, two arrested - Israel National News
Arabs continue to riot in Jerusalem on Tuesday evening after several confrontations with police were reported over the past two days.
Police worked to control riots in the Sur Baher and Silwan neighborhoods in southern Jerusalem on Tuesday. Rioters threw rocks, launched fireworks, ignited dumpsters, and threw bottles, as police attempted to restore order.
During the riots in Sur Baher, two Arabs were detained, one of which was holding a firework launcher and Palestinian flag, and during an extensive search of his person, a knife was found.
In addition, police found several Molotov cocktails ready for use. (Read more)

3. Lebanon Expects US Mediator Offer for Maritime Border with Israel within Days - Algemeiner
Lebanon expects a written offer from US mediator Amos Hochstein concerning the demarcation of a maritime border with Israel by the end of the week, Lebanon’s presidency tweeted on Monday.
Lebanon’s deputy speaker of parliament Elias Bou Saab met with Hochstein last week during a visit to New York and briefed President Michel Aoun on the outcome, the presidency added.
A US embassy official told Reuters that Hochstein was continuing “his robust engagement to bring the maritime boundary discussions to a close.” (Read more)

4. Israeli security forces investigating terror motivated obstruction of rail line -YNET
Israel Police and the Shin Ben Security Agency said on Monday that they had apprehended a suspect in connection with an obstruction that was found on the railway tracks between Acre and Karmiel, in the Galilee region of northern Israel.
The obstruction was removed without any damage of injury and the suspect, an Arab citizen was being questioned.
The tracks are inspected daily to remove any obstruction and ensure the safe passage of trains.
Authorities declined to provide any more information on their investigation and a gag order has been placed on the case. (Read more)

5. Russia aims Iranian made drones at hasidic Jews in Uman - report - Jerusalem Post
While thousands of Israelis marked the Jewish New Year with celebrations in the city of Uman, media outlets in Ukraine reported on Tuesday that Russian forces deliberately launched at least 10 Iranian suicide drones of the Shahad-136 model over the city, with the aim of harming Israelis staying there.
According to the report, during the last few days, the military forces of Ukraine shot down more than ten drones, some of which were launched from the territory of the Crimean Peninsula and aimed at Uman. According to the assessment, Russia wanted to focus on hasidic religious sites with a large audience.
A Ukrainian security official told the Babel news website that "planned acts of terrorism against Israeli citizens are one of the conditions for the transfer of Iranian drones to Russia. (Read more)

Ron DeSantis has warned that Hurricane Ian will cause 'catastrophic' flooding across the Sunshine State and urged people to prepare for the 'historic' storm. Florida Gov. DeSantis told Floridians not to 'put themselves in harms way' as he said the state is expecting unprecedented storm surges and flooding to cause major damage from the 15ft waves and 140mph winds.
Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, DeSantis said that 'safety is paramount' for anyone in the state, and warned those on the north coast and gulf coast that they could be hit hardest by the 'different' storm.
He added: 'Mother nature is a very fearsome adversary, please heed those evacuation warnings. You could see power outages, inland flooding, various types of tree damage from wind so be prepared for that.' DeSantis declared a state of emergency in all 67 counties as he called up 7,000 National Guard members to help with the effort, with 2.5million people under an evacuation order. (Read more)

2. Republicans sound alarm over Chinese government-linked farmland purchase near North Dakota air base - Fox News
Fifty-one Republican lawmakers are sending a letter to three of President Biden’s Cabinet secretaries warning that national security is threatened by a Chinese Communist Party (CCP)-linked company's efforts to buy farmland near an Air Force base in North Dakota.
Rep. Carlos Gimenez, R-Fla., led the letter with 50 of his colleagues to Secretaries Lloyd Austin, Janet Yelle, and Tom Vilsack about the land acquisitions near North Dakota’s Grand Forks Air Force Base by Chinese manufacturer the Fufeng Group.
The letter, exclusively obtained by Fox News Digital, will be sent to the three secretaries and warns of the "alarming development" for U.S. national security by allowing the Fufeng Group to purchase the land so close to the base.
"According to the United States-China Economic and Security Review Commission, the Grand Forks Air Force Base has exceptional intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities, making the recently purchased land the ideal location to closely monitor and intercept military activity," the lawmakers wrote. 3. Letter Reveals Obama Foundation Is Keeping Classified Docs in Abandoned Furniture Warehouse - PJ Media
The Obama Foundation stored classified documents in an abandoned furniture warehouse, according to a 2018 letter from the Obama Foundation to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).
The letter, available on the Obama Foundation website and dated Sept. 11, 2018, reveals that the Obama Foundation not only acknowledged possessing classified documents but also admitted that they kept them in a facility that did not meet NARA standards for the storage of those documents.
Media reports confirm that the Obama Foundation had rented space from Hoffman Estates to store these documents, and extended their original lease for four more years back in August.
“While no firm date has been announced for the completion and opening of the Barack Obama Presidential Library near the University of Chicago, its future contents will stay in Hoffman Estates for four more years,” the Daily Herald reported. (Read more)

4. U.S. Home Prices Fall For First Time Since 2012, Largest Ever Deceleration - Brietbart
Home prices fell in July compared with the previous month, according to the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller Index. This is the first national decline since 2012.
Before seasonal adjustment, the U.S. National Index fell 0.3 percent month-over-month decrease in July, while the 10-City and 20-City composites both posted decreases of -0.8 percent. After seasonal adjustment, the U.S. National Index fell -0.2 percent. The 10-City composite fell 0.5 percent and 20-City Composites fell 0.4 percent.
Despite the month-to-month decline, home prices in July were still higher than they were a year ago. Nationally prices 15.8 percent over July 2021, a significant cooling from the 18.1 percent year-over-year gain in the previous month. The 10-City composite is up 14.9 percent year over year, a slowdown from 17.4 percent in June. The 20-City composite rose 16.1 percent, a decrease from 18.7 percent in the previous month. (Read more)

5. DOJ files motion against Peter Navarro to produce email records from time in White House - Washington Examiner
The Department of Justice is requesting that the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia command former Trump White House adviser Peter Navarro to provide all email records from his time in the White House under the Presidential Records Act.
The attorneys involved in the court case wrote in a motion filed Monday that Navarro "wrongfully continues to possess" emails he sent on an unofficial email account.
The document says Navarro was, as of July 25, in possession of 200 to 250 documents that fell under the Presidential Records Act and that, his counsel has admitted, he withheld from the government, according to the filing. Some emails were obtained by the House select subcommittee on the coronavirus crisis as part of an investigation into the government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic. (Read more)

6. Italy’s Presumptive Prime Minister Is Already Sending Liberals Into Fits Of Hysteria - The Daily Caller
Giorgia Meloni, leader of the Brothers of Italy party, is poised to become Italy’s first female prime minister. Liberals none too happy with her Right-wing political views are claiming she is a fascist.
Meloni says she has no plans to cut access to abortion, but says that women should be “given other options.” She opposes adoption by same-sex couples, saying the ideal way for a child to be raised is by a woman and a man. Meloni’s politics are of a nationalist bent, and she has criticized globalism for taking “real power away from the people to supranational entities headed by supposedly enlightened elites.”
“We did not fight against and defeat communism in order to replace it with a new internationalist regime, but to permit independent nation states once again to defend the freedom, identity and sovereignty of their peoples,” Meloni said in a speech at the National Conservatism conference. 7. Fire breaks out at world’s biggest produce market in Paris - AP News
A billowing column of dark smoke towered over Paris on Sunday from a warehouse blaze at a massive produce market that supplies the French capital and surrounding region with much of its fresh food and bills itself as the largest of its kind in the world.
Firefighters urged people to stay away from the area in Paris’ southern suburbs, as 100 officers and 30 fire engines battled the blaze at the Rungis International Market.
Capt. Marc Le Moine, a spokesman for the Paris fire service, said no one was injured.
The fire was brought under control and there was no risk of it spreading from the soccer field-sized warehouse, covering an area of 7,000 square meters (1.7 acres), he said. (Read more)

8. Edward Snowden granted Russian citizenship via decree from Putin - Washington Examiner
Edward Snowden was granted Russian citizenship via a decree from President Vladimir Putin, according to Russian media.
The U.S.-born dissident was granted Russian citizenship in a sudden decree on Monday, though he's been residing in the country since 2013, several state media outlets reported. He sought and was temporarily granted asylum in the country after blowing the whistle on the National Security Agency's use of mass surveillance. After several renewals, in October 2020 he was granted permanent residency in the country, according to U.S. News.
The whistleblower has served as a constant critic of the U.S. government in exile through social media and several media appearances. (Read more)

9. Biden Makes Securing U.S. Jobs Easier for Border Crossers, Illegal Aliens - Brietbart
In 2019, former President Trump directed the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to stop fast-tracking work permits for border crossers and illegal aliens who are subsequently released into American communities.
The rule change made sure that border crossers and illegal aliens would need to be in the U.S. for at least a year before applying for work permits through the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) agency.
Now, as Reuters reports, Biden is repealing the Trump-era rule change to ensure that hundreds of thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens his DHS releases every few months into the U.S. interior can now more quickly secure work permits to take American jobs. (Read more)

10. Biden demands gas companies lower prices at the pump: 'Do it now!' - Just The News
President Joe Biden on Monday issued a firm declaration to fuel companies in the United States, ordering them to lower fuel prices for consumers to a level the president said would reflect what the product actually costs.
Biden made the remarks at a meeting of the White House Competition Council. It was the third such meeting of the council, which the president established by executive order last July. The president argued that, while oil prices have dropped worldwide in recent months, "we haven’t seen the lower prices reflected at the pump" and "oil and gas companies are still making record profits."
"Look, my message is simple," Biden said. "To the companies running gas stations and setting those prices at the pump: Bring down the prices you’re charging at the pump to reflect the cost you pay for the product. Do it now. Do it now." (Read more)

Excessive Demonstrations Of Force

The FBI is facing public scrutiny for use of excessive force against political opponents of the Biden Administration. So much so that it issued a statement denying a SWAT team was sent to arrest Catholic activist Mark Houck, but did not deny that weapons were pointed at Houck, his wife and children. The widely reported FBI statement said, “There are inaccurate claims being made regarding the arrest of Mark Houck…No SWAT Team or SWAT operators were involved.” According to Catholic News Agency reporters, the FBI spokesman who issued the statement declined to answer questions about the number of FBI officers at the scene or whether weapons were drawn and pointed at the family.

LIVE: Thousands flee Ian’s path as more evacuations are ordered in Florida
As Ian slammed Cuba with ferocious winds, heavy rain and a life-threatening storm surge on Tuesday, additional evacuation orders were issued in Florida.
AccuWeather meteorologists on Tuesday morning made a key adjustment to the Eye Path® forecast for Hurricane Ian’s landfall in Florida this week. The forecasting team now predicts that Ian will make landfall south of the Tampa area. “This would mean the worst of the storm surge (6-10 feet) would occur from Naples to near Venice,” AccuWeather Chief Broadcast Meteorologist Bernie Rayno said, warning that any barrier islands between these points will be “completely overwhelmed.” In addition, the timing of the storm’s landfall has changed too, with AccuWeather meteorologists saying that the storm is forecast to make landfall Wednesday evening over the central part of the Florida Peninsula.

Christians Unite Worldwide for '10 Days of Awe' Prayer Event

Thousands of churches in the United States and in 43 other countries around the world will participate in the 18th annual "10 Days", an organized global prayer event slated for Sept. 25 through Oct. 5. The organizers of the event invite Christians to join the Global Upper Room with followers of Jesus Christ around the globe to show the unity that Jesus prayed about in the Bible's New Testament in the book of John. "My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me" -- John 17: 20-23
These planned prayer gatherings will range from city-wide prayer events to small groups. People will also be able to participate through a Zoom meeting that will be live 24 hours a day during the 10-day event. Jonathan Friz, the founder of 10 Days told Charisma News that God revealed this prayer event to him in a powerful vision when he was in college."I had an encounter with the Lord when I was in college, and He showed me cities around the world stopping during this time period between the Day of Trumpets and the Day of Atonement and just fasting and praying and seeking God," he said."The cities I saw in the vision were covered in the glory of God. I knew it would never be the same. It has driven everything I have done in the prayer movement for the past two decades," Friz added.
The ministry now provides multiple language support, including Spanish, Italian, French, and German, according to Charisma News. In addition to obedience toward the answer to Jesus's prayer for unity, the organizers also explain more about the event in their Call to Action on the 10 Days website. It's rooted in the 10 "Days of Awe" between the biblical Feasts of Trumpets and the Day of Atonement. These feasts prophetically foreshadow the second coming. Therefore, 10 Days is also a time of longing for the return of Jesus Christ.
