New York City municipal workers held a rally outside of City Hall
on Monday to protest vaccine mandates.
New York City Workers Hold Anti-Vaccine Mandate Rally

NEW YORK - Hundreds of New York City municipal workers marched over the Brooklyn Bridge and then held a rally outside of City Hall on Monday to protest vaccine mandates. Workers chanted and waved American flags.

The city announced that all city employees will have to have at least one vaccine shot by this Friday or they will be put on unpaid leave. This changes a policy that would allow non-vaccinated employees to undergo regular testing.

In a tweet, the group said: "We will also be filing a request for a temporary restraining order asking the court to bar the City and the NYPD from implementing the mandate while our suit is pending."

Monday's protest came after several anti-mandate rallies across New York City.

One was held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, where demonstrators came out to support Nets Guard Kyrie Irving who isn’t playing right now due to his refusal to get the shot.

On Staten Island, a group of city workers, including NYPD and FDNY members, also rallied against the mandate. About 45% of FDNY workers are not vaccinated.

A lot of the protesters claim that having fewer firefighters, emergency dispatchers, and workers in other essential city services could threaten the fabric of New York City.

But Mayor Bill de Blasio maintains that the mandate is the right move. He was asked at a press conference Monday morning specifically about schools and if he is concerned about a lack of safety agents showing up due to the vaccine mandate.

He said he was not concerned, noting that 92% of school safety agents have been vaccinated.

"That's obviously a really outstanding number. That number puts us at a point where we have the ability to move some folks around or do some overtime," de Blasio said. "We can compensate for any needs." Read more

- Lord, we pray for the many municipal workers and families who are impacted by this unlawful mandate. Father, we come against the tyrannical rule and oppression of those who seek truth and righteousness. We pray for freedom and restoration in the mighty name of Jesus!

- "The God of Israel said, The Rock of Israel spoke to me: ‘He who rules over men must be just, Ruling in the fear of God.' " (2 Samuel 23:3)
FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1.  IAF to start training for strike on Iran nuke program in coming months - Times of Israel

The Israeli Air Force will begin practicing for a strike on Iran’s nuclear program beginning next year, having set aside funding and updated its training schedule for the mission, The Times of Israel has learned.

In light of growing uncertainty regarding a return by Iran to the 2015 nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, amid long-stalled negotiations with the United States, the Israel Defense Forces in recent months has ramped up its efforts to prepare a credible military threat against Tehran’s nuclear facilities.

Following the signing of the JCPOA in 2015, Israel put the issue of a military strike on the Iranian nuclear program on the back burner, allowing the IDF to invest its resources into other areas. But following the US abrogation of the nuclear deal in 2018 and Iran’s subsequent violations of the agreement since then — which picked up considerably ahead of and during the stalled talks — the matter has taken on renewed importance to Israel, which sees an Iranian nuclear bomb as a near existential threat. 2. Israeli helicopters said to strike Hezbollah-linked targets in southern Syria- Times of Israel

Israeli helicopters hit three targets in Syria near the border in the early hours of Monday, Syrian media reported.

According to the reports, the missiles struck targets connected to the Hezbollah terror group on the outskirts of the town of al-Baath as well as other locations in southern Syria.

The three sites were all reportedly connected to Hezbollah’s so-called Golan File, its efforts to establish a front along the Golan border from which it can carry out attacks against Israel. (Read more)

3.  Progressives in Israel push anti-IDF agenda on schoolchildren - World Israel News

In a move that threatens to shake the government’s stability, an MK from the Opposition’s Arab Joint List party tried introducing a bill Sunday to legislate the learning in all state schools of a 65-year-old tragedy.

Aida Touma-Suleiman, who refers to the creation of the State of Israel in 1948 as the Nakba (Arabic for catastrophe) and is a member of the Hadash (Communist) faction in the Joint List, introduced the bill. It has the support of the Islamist Ra’am and leftist Meretz parties for the “Kafr Qassem” Law, which would give official state recognition of the Kafr Qassem murders that took place in the village by that name during the 1956 Suez War, aka the second Arab-Israeli war, and make it a mandatory part of the curricula.

On October 29, 1956, the first day of the Suez War, the IDF expected Jordan to join the war on Egypt’s side. To help ensure quiet, the nightly curfew of 7 p.m. was brought forward to 5 p.m. in Arab villages that sat on the border with what was then part of Jordan, including Kafr Qassem. Border Police were ordered to shoot those who went outside after curfew.

IDF reservists killed 49 Arab villagers who were unaware of the curfew. Those responsible were brought to justice and the government paid reparations to the families. (Read more)

4. Hosting Emirati General, Israel Sees Airpower Cooperation - Algemeiner

The chief of the United Arab Emirates Air Force visited Israel on Monday on what the host country described as a harbinger of cooperation in air power.

The US allies normalized relations last year, brought together by shared worries about Iran and a desire for business ventures. Their public embrace has so far been in the diplomatic and commercial, rather than military, spheres.

Major-General Ibrahim Nasser Mohammed Al Alawi, commander of the UAE air force, made the previously unannounced appearance during a multinational drill, Blue Flag, hosted by Israel this week.

“This is a truly historic day with tremendous significance for the future of cooperation between our air forces,” his Israeli counterpart, Major-General Amikam Norkin, tweeted. The statement did not elaborate on how such cooperation might look. (Read more)

5. UAE Air Force Chief lands in Israel in first public visit - Jerusalem Post

A year after the signing of the Abraham Accords, which normalized ties between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, the Commander of the Kingdom’s Air Force Maj.-Gen. Ibrahim Nasser Mohammed al-Alawi landed in Israel for the first time.

Al-Alawi is in Israel as the guest of Israel Air Force Commander Amikam Norkin to take part in a conference for countries flying the F-35 during the large-scale international Blue Flag aerial exercise.

He received an honor guard led by Norkin at Palmahim Air Force Base south of Tel Aviv and discussed developing cooperation and strengthening the connection between the two Middle Eastern air forces.

“I thank you, Commander of the Emirati Air Force, for your willingness to come to Israel,” Norkin told him. “This is a historic and important day for cooperation between the air forces.” (Read more)

1. Rachel Levine: Transgender official sworn in as four-star admiral - (yahoo.com)

The US assistant secretary for health has been sworn in as the first transgender four-star officer in the country's history. Dr Rachel Levine, 63, is now an admiral of the US Public Health Service Commissioned Corps. Dr Levine, appointed by President Joe Biden, is already the highest-ranking openly transgender official in the US.

She described the occasion as "momentous" and "historic" during a swearing-in speech on Tuesday. "May this appointment today be the first of many more to come, as we create a diverse and more inclusive future," she said in a speech that paid tribute to other LGBTQ individuals who came before her.

Dr Levine is a graduate of Harvard College and Tulane University School of Medicine and previously worked as a paediatrician. The US Public Health Service Commissioned Corps has about 6,000 uniformed officers and is tasked with responding to health crises like the coronavirus pandemic and natural disasters. (Read more)

- Lord, this situation grieves us, as a man who thinks he is a woman is sworn in to respond to emergencies in the US. Sin has become acceptable in the US, so we pray for repentance across the nation. Let no corner of America fail to be touched by the power of Your Spirit.

- “And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Though they know God's decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.” (Romans 1:28-32)

2. California residents sound alarm over port backlog as shipping containers overflow into neighborhoods - Fox News

Shipping delays have been mounting and cargo has been piling up at California ports. Tens of thousands of containers are stuck at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach in California, which move more than a quarter of all American imports, according to The Wall Street Journal, which noted last month that dozens of ships are lined up to dock with waiting times stretching to three weeks.

Due to the overflow at ports, containers are now finding their way to residential streets. Valerie Contreras, a board member of the Wilmington, California, Neighborhood Council, told "Fox & Friends First" Thursday that the dangerous situation can’t continue. "The shipping industry is spilling over into our community and we cannot sustain it any longer," Contreras said.

"We have had these truckers going through our community. Our residential streets are backed up and we cannot handle the overflow of what's happening at the port. And it's quite dangerous."

One car was photographed being crushed by a container in the harbor area of Los Angeles. "This particular container of the driver pulled around the corner," Contreras said. "It disconnected from his fifth wheel and fell completely and crushed this car." (Read more)

- Lord, though governors and others have suggested a solution, the answer lies within the regulations that have created the backlog, whether from the “Covid pandemic” or others designed simply to control. We pray that You will cause all unnecessary regulations that are backing up this industry to fall to the ground and never return.

- “Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life.” (Psalm 54:4)

3. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey's dire warning: 'Hyperinflation' will soon 'change everything' - Fox Business

Twitter founder Jack Dorsey has issued a cryptic warning that "hyperinflation" will "change everything." In typical Dorsey style, the social media CEO tweeted out his comment, saying that "it will happen in the US soon, and so the world."

Hyperinflation is typically very high and accelerated inflation. Researchers have documented 57 cases of hyperinflation as of 2018, with the first recorded episode occurring between 1795 and 1796 in post-revolutionary France, according to The Economist.

Some economists and writers have looked at possible hyperinflation in the U.S. as early as March 2021 when the economy started to get back on track after an artificially depressed year due to lockdowns and immense restrictions during the coronavirus pandemic – policies that officials started reversing as vaccines became more available. (Read more)

- Lord, we bind and rebuke these words, declaring them dead on arrival. We pray that You will intervene to prevent hyperinflation.

- “For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” (Matthew 12:37)

4. Haiti gang leader threatens to kill kidnapped missionaries - Daily Mail Online

The leader of the Haitian gang that kidnapped 17 missionaries is threatening to kill them if he doesn't receive a ransom of up to $1 million for each person. 'I swear by thunder that if I don't get what I'm asking for, I will put a bullet in the heads of these Americans,' 400 Mawozo leader Wilson Joseph said in a video posted to social media Thursday.

Joseph - who goes by the alias Lanmò San Jou or 'Death Without Days' - issued the threat as he stood in front of open coffins apparently holding several members of his gang who were recently killed. Although he has formally issued his ransom demands to the country chief of Ohio-based Christian Aid Ministries, the nonprofit ministry affiliated with the group, he has yet to issue a deadline for the payment. (Read more)

- Lord, we bind this man’s thoughts, and pray Your Spirit will convict him of sin, righteousness, and judgment. We pray for Your mighty protection for the missionaries.

- “And when He comes, He will convict the world of sin and of righteousness, and of judgment.” (John 16:8)

5. Issa slams ‘betrayal’ as State Dept admits number of Americans still in Afghanistan higher than prior claims - Fox News

The State Department on Friday conceded that there are significantly more Americans in Afghanistan than previously estimated -- leading to Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., and other Republicans to accuse the administration of a "betrayal" of Americans abroad. State Department officials briefed congressional staff this week and told them that it is in touch with 363 Americans in Afghanistan and nearly 176 legal permanent residents, a congressional source who was on the call told Fox News.

That 363 number is significantly higher than previous estimates by the Biden administration, which had put the number at around 100 in September -- and is only the number with whom the State Dept. is in contact. CNN first reported the 363 figure.

It comes amid continuing fallout from the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan ahead of the Aug 31 withdrawal deadline -- which saw a scramble of Americans and Afghans trying to get out of the country before the Taliban took over. (Read more)

- Lord, let no more lies come from the Biden administration about Afghanistan.  We pray that You will protect all Americans still inside the country and bring them home safely. We ask for a move of Your Spirit over Afghanistan, to bring all into repentance and thereby be saved.

- “The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)

6. Report: Fauci's NIH Division Partially Funded Insects Eating Beagles Alive - Breitbart.com

Responding to a report from the non-profit organization White Coat Waste Project, both Democrats and Republicans signed a letter this week demanding to know why the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases – one of the 27 institutes under the NIH – partially funded an experiment that locked beagles’ heads in cages while hordes of hungry sandflies ate them alive.

According to the Hill, the beagles were infected with “disease-causing parasites to test an experimental drug on them.” The experiment transpired in a Tunisia, North Africa laboratory where as many as 44 beagle puppies endured what Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) referred to as a “cruel” and “reprehensible misuse of taxpayer funds.” (Read more)

- Lord, it is difficult for Your people not to feel hate for people like Fauci, especially after these kinds of revelations. We ask for inner strength for us that we not go off the rails ourselves with the evil being manifest in the earth today against babies, adults, and even animals. But we also pray on our knees for judgment to come to everyone who has violated Your Words and Your Heart.

- “Whoever is righteous has regard for the life of his beast, but the mercy of the wicked is cruel.” (Proverbs 12:10)

7. Atlanta fire chief fired because of his faith now helping others facing the same issues with cancel-culture - Lawenforcementtoday.com

Kelvin Cochran proudly served as a firefighter for over thirty years, and in fact received the honor of “Fire Chief of the Year” in 2012, with former president Barack Obama appointing him as the U.S. Fire Administrator, the highest fire service post in the nation. He was until 2015 the fire chief for the Atlanta Fire Department.

However that all came crashing down as Cochran became one of the first victims of “cancel culture,” terminated as Atlanta’s fire chief for expressing his personal views about marriage.

His crime? He wrote a book in which he stated his belief…his personal view…that marriage should be between one man and one woman.

In an interview on the Daily Signal podcast, Cochran spoke out about his new book, “Facing the Fire: The Faith That Brought ‘America’s Fire Chief’ Through the Flames of Persecution.” He says the experience of losing his job for nothing more than expressing his faith was “challenging to say the least.” (Read more)

- Lord, we thank You that this man stood firm on his faith in the midst of persecution.  We pray for all who are under the hatred of others at this time and ask for their souls. If they will not repent, we pray for their removal from positions of power.

- “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:10)

 8. Treasury Sec. Yellen: Inflation Will Get Back to the 2% Range by Next Year - Breitbart.com

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that she thinks the recent rising prices will stabilize in 2022.

Anchor Jake Tapper said, “The Biden administration is trying to reach this deal to spend about another $2 trillion — makes a total of an extraordinary $5 trillion in spending this year. Inflation is growing at its fastest pace in 30 years. If the economy is already overheating, is spending even more money essential pouring gas on the inflation fire?”

Yellen said, “Well, the additional spending in the infrastructure package, and in the Build Back Better package, both of those are spending over ten years, not in a single year. The rescue package did involve substantial spending this year. Let’s remember that a benefit of that package is that unemployment is declined to 4.8%, that Americans tell us that they feel confident they can find jobs now, the size of the labor force that is declined. It’s not moved back to pre-pandemic levels, in part because of COVID, because of health concerns, because of child care concerns, school concerns.”

She added, “This is temporary pains that result from a COVID economy.” (Read more)

- Lord, we ask that You grant your people discernment and truth over the deception of the Biden administration. Yellen’s statement may not  be the truth, so we pray for Your provision during these difficult times.

- “And with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.”  (1 Thessalonians 2:10)

9. Controversial Biden Nominee Confirmed: She 'Encouraged Harassment of Religious Schools' - Christianheadlines.com

The U.S. Senate on Wednesday confirmed a controversial nominee to the U.S. Department of Education who served in the Obama administration and who critics say was an extremist on religious liberty and LGBT issues. The Senate confirmed Catherine Lhamon as assistant secretary for civil rights at the U.S. Department of Education when Vice President Kamala Harris voted for Lhamon to break a 50-50 tie. Lhamon also served as assistant secretary for civil rights during the Obama administration and then as chair of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights.

During her tenure, she wrote a letter telling public schools they were in violation of federal law if they prohibited students from using the restroom or locker room that matched their gender identity. The Obama rule, for example, permitted a biological boy who identifies as a girl to use the girls’ restroom. Schools also were considered in violation of federal law if they prohibited transgender-identifying students from playing on the gender-specific sports team of their choosing.

“A school may not require transgender students to use facilities inconsistent with their gender identity or to use individual-user facilities when other students are not required to do so,” she wrote. Additionally, Lhamon was slow to approve, and she even resisted exception requests by religious colleges and universities who wanted to follow their beliefs on LGBT and gender issues. (Read more)

- Lord, once again, we ask for a move of repentance over those who defy Your word and heart. We pray for ourselves first, to repent of our own sins, and plead with You to stop the constant push for things which are an abomination to You.

- “In order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.”        (Romans 8: 4-6)

10. Another debt ceiling fight looms as Biden reveals spending plans - Washington Examiner

President Joe Biden has dished on his closed-door negotiations with congressional Democrats over his $2 trillion social welfare and climate spending package. But the White House and Capitol Hill's lack of public clarity regarding how Democrats plan to contend with the looming debt limit have observers rattled to frustrated.

Biden conceded that his social spending package will likely include four weeks of paid family medical leave instead of his proposed 12 and an $800 voucher for dental care rather than expanded dental, vision, and hearing Medicare coverage, among other programs, during a televised town hall.

But his administration's insistence that Democrats and Republicans raise or suspend the debt ceiling together before the Treasury Department predicts the country will default on its roughly $28 trillion loan in December has onlookers like GOP Senate budget and appropriations expert Bill Hoagland worried because Republicans have been adamantly against a statutory increase.

For Hoagland, now a senior vice president at the Bipartisan Policy Center, the concern is that if Democrats are not prepared to revise the budget resolution so they can deploy the simple majority procedure known as reconciliation to lift or suspend the debt limit, then the next step could be changing the rules of the Senate to permit them to do so with the 51 votes they have with Vice President Kamala Harris. (Read more)

- Lord, please bring wisdom to our leadership on both sides of the aisle. Whatever Your plan to save America from the actions of those who just want to spend money, we stand on Your Name and in Your Word. We refuse the plans of evil and place our trust in You.

- “For I know the plans that I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

11. Sudan military coup reports lead US Embassy to advise Americans to shelter in place - Fox News

Indications of a military coup in Sudan targeting the country's tenuous transitional government sparked the U.S. Embassy in the capital city, Khartoum, to urge Americans in the country to shelter in place Monday.

"The U.S. Embassy has received reports that armed forces are blocking certain areas in and around Khartoum. Internet in Khartoum is non-functional," the embassy elaborated.

Reports out of the country suggest a coordinated military offensive to black out the internet in Khartoum, arrest key political figures and raid broadcast companies. A Reuters witness described members of the military and the country’s paramilitary Rapid Support Forces stationed in the streets throughout the capital.

Military forces in the country have reportedly placed Prime Minister Abdulla Hamdok under house arrest and have been urging him to come out in support of the coup. (Read more)

- Lord, as the unrest and rise of evil in the entire world continues unabated, we plead for Your Holy Spirit to once again flood the earth with the knowledge of You. We ask for a new Great Awakening across the entire world.

 - “I have heard all about You, Lord. I am filled with awe by Your amazing works. In this time of our deep need, help us again as You did in years gone by. And in Your anger, remember Your mercy.” (Habakkuk 3:2)

12. Florida educators tied mask to disabled student's face for 6 weeks without parents' consent, father says - Fox News

A Florida father is accusing educators at his daughter's elementary school of forcing his daughter with Down syndrome to wear a mask by tying it to her head for about six weeks.

Jeffery Steele's daughter, Sofia Steele, is nonverbal and has an enlarged tongue. On Oct. 7, Sofia stepped off of the school bus with a mask, wet from her saliva, tied to her head with a thin, nylon string, Steele told Fox News Digital, but she did not leave for school with a mask on that day or any day prior.

Sofia has an individual education plan (IEP), and educators are supposed to inform parents of any changes made to their children's IEPs, Steele said. But the school never informed him or his wife that they were going to require Sofia to wear a mask, and no one asked the parents for their consent in tying it to her face during school.

- Lord, this is egregious behavior on the part of this school - the child could have aspirated and died.  We pray that You will protect the children from these horrific mask mandates. Whether a child has debilitating issues such as this one, or asthma or any other problems, forcing them to try and breathe through a mask is evil.

- "Blessed are they who observe justice, who do righteousness at all times!"    (Psalm 106:3)
The Daily Jot

Stand

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, October 25, 2021

Reading the headlines over the weekend, it is a sad testimony to humankind. Rapes, murders, beheadings, kidnappings, ransoms, censorships, mandates, oppression, and the list goes on and on. The easy thing to do is disconnect. The hard thing to do is to engage. Many people are asking: What can I do? The answer is not simple. Ephesians 6:11 says, “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” And verse 13 says, “Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Standing is increasingly difficult these days because of fear, enormity, discernment. It can be overwhelming.

In Ezekiel 22, the Lord God speaks into a situation in ancient Israel much like what we have in many places around the world, especially in America. In Verse 25, the Lord God says, “There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof.” In Verse 29, The Lord says, “The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully.” He concludes in verse 30, “And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.” Sadly, He found none. Researches unearth the second 1,300-year-old ski from ice in southern Norway.
'Best-preserved' artifact of its kind unearthed from melting ice

After years of global warming taking a toll on the glacial ice in Norway, a team of researchers has unearthed the final piece of a rare discovery in Norway that was originally made in 2014 -- a 1,300-year-old ski that matches with one previously found, making a complete set.

The wooden skis were uncovered by a team of field researchers called "The Secrets of the Ice." The team investigates ancient discoveries as global warming impacts the Earth and melts away glacial ice, allowing new artifacts to be revealed slowly.

The first ski was dug out of the ice in 2014, AmazeLab reported. It was located in the Digervarden Ice Patch, located in southern Norway. The ice at the time was too thick for the archaeologists to search for and retrieve the second ski. But since that discovery, global warming has taken a toll on the ice patch, and the ice has since receded.

After the first ski was found, researchers monitored satellite imagery to examine the ice in the area, and an in-person survey was conducted in 2016, according to Smithsonian Magazine.

Once the ice melted enough, archeologists were able to retrieve the second ski, making it the oldest set of skis ever recovered on Earth and, according to Smithsonian Magazine, one of the best-preserved as well. Read More

Condoleezza Rice denounces critical race theory: 'I don't have to make White kids feel bad for being White'

Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on Wednesday denounced the teaching of critical race theory (CRT) in schools, declaring that Black children could be completely empowered without making White children feel bad for their race.

During a guest host appearance on ABC's "The View," Rice, the first Black woman to head the State Department, cited her experience growing up in segregated Birmingham, Alabama, as she argued that young children didn't need to be taught CRT and parents needed to have a say in their children's education.

"I’m not certain seven-year-olds need to learn it," Rice said as co-host Whoopi Goldberg referenced the debate over the teaching of CRT and how big a voice parents should have in the education of their children.

Co-host Joy Behar claimed parents shouldn't be interfering in schools to the extent that they have a say over the subject a teacher is able to teach.

"If they are adamant and they don’t want you to teach what is going to be taught, period, they’re going to have to home-school their kids because this is not going to wash," she said.

"Well, they’re actually homeschooling them in increasing numbers and I think that’s a signal," Rice said. "First of all, parents ought to be involved in their children’s education … I think parents ought to have a say. We used to have parent-teacher conferences. We used to have PTAs. There are lots of ways for parents to be involved, and they should be." (Fox News)

Thoughts for Repentance
21 Days of Prayer

Failing to Hallow the Name of the Father | Day 16
Day sixteen: Failing to hallow the Name of our Father. Ask the Helper if you have a spirit in you that fails fully to hallow the Name of our Father. Where did it first surface in you? Is it a generational spirit? How does it show up in your life today?

What is His replacement? Wholehearted devotion to Abba's Heart, to the Son, to the Holy Spirit. Matthew 6:9-13: In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

He Keeps Me Singing

To listen to this classic hymn, CLICK HERE

Words and Music: Luther Bridges

Scripture: He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Psalm 40:3

Lyrics:
There’s within my heart a melody
Jesus whispers sweet and low,
Fear not, I am with thee, peace, be still,
In all of life’s ebb and flow.

Refrain
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus,
Sweetest name I know,
Fills my every longing,
Keeps me singing as I go.

All my life was wrecked
By sin and strife,
Discord filled my heart with pain,
Jesus swept across the broken strings,
Stirred the slumbering chords again.

Refrain

Feasting on the riches of His grace,
Resting ’neath His sheltering wing,
Always looking on His smiling face,
That is why I shout and sing.

Refrain

Though sometimes He leads
Through waters deep,
Trials fall across the way,
Though sometimes the path
Seems rough and steep,
See His footprints all the way.

Refrain

Soon He’s coming back
To welcome me,
Far beyond the starry sky;
I shall wing my flight
To worlds unknown,
I shall reign with Him on high.
