Ivanka Trump Shares Holiday Message for Sukkot
|
|
Former president and 2024 Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s daughter and former advisor Ivanka Trump shared a special Sukkot holiday message over the weekend, during the week-long Jewish festival. Taking to the social media platform Instagram, Ivanka Trump wished her followers a “joyful” Sukkot holiday. “Wishing everyone celebrating a joyful and blessed Sukkot,” Trump wrote, followed by emojis representing the citron (etrog) and myrtle (hadas), two of the Four Species shaken during morning prayers during Sukkot.
The holiday message was accompanied by a photograph of Trump with her husband and fellow former Trump presidential advisor, Jared Kushner, and the couple’s three children, Arabella Rose, Joseph Frederick, and Theodore James. In the photo, Trump, her husband, and her children pose in their sukkah, with the Four Species laid out on a table. On October 11th, Trump used her X/Twitter account to mark the upcoming Yom Kippur fast. As Yom Kippur begins, I join those observing in a day of reflection and prayer. “May this sacred time bring peace, clarity, and a sense of connection. G’mar Chatima Tova,” she wrote. Israel Delays Iran Retaliation After US Leak
|
|
'The leak of the American documents delayed the attack due to the need to change certain strategies and components. There will be a retaliation, but it has taken longer than it was supposed to take'
Israel has delayed its retaliation against the Islamic Republic, over the October 1 ballistic missile attack, after a Pentagon leak revealed Israeli plans, a British report claimed Thursday.
According to an unnamed intelligence source said to be familiar with Israeli deliberations quoted by The Times daily, "the leak of the American documents delayed the attack due to the need to change certain strategies and components. There will be a retaliation, but it has taken longer than it was supposed to take."
Earlier in the week reports in U.S. media identified the suspected leaker as Ariane Tabatabai, an Iranian American whose role as the Bureau Chief to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin's aid for special operations granted her access to highly secret information. These reports were since disputed yet no official information is available on the suspect's identity. (i24news) Read more here.

- Abba, thank You that this leak was identified before Israel put it's plan into action. We ask You to bring into the light the person who perpetrated this treasonous act against our ally, Israel. We ask for them to be held accountable for this action and be charged to the fullest extent of the law. Father God, we ask Holy Spirit to work in the midst of all Israeli leadership as they "reconstruct" their response to Iran's missile attack. We ask You to guide and direct all plans and final decisions made. Jesus, be with Your people through this very dark time and ensure their intentions are Your intentions, help them to ask You the right questions as they pray about this very weighty response.

Trump Leads Harris by 2 Percent in New National Poll
|
|
A new national poll indicates former President Donald Trump is in the lead again in the presidential race. On Oct. 24, the Wall Street Journal published a poll conducted on its behalf by Fabrizio, Lee & Associates, and GBAO. The poll, which surveyed 1,500 registered voters between Oct. 19 and Oct. 22, concluded that if the election were held today, 47 percent of respondents would vote for Trump.
The same poll found 45 percent of respondents would vote for Vice President Kamala Harris. The poll carried a 2.5 percent margin of error, making the contest a statistical tie.
The same firms conducted a similar poll in late August. Then, 47 percent backed Harris while 45 percent backed Trump. The Oct. 24 poll is the latest in a string of positive national results for the Trump campaign. (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Abba, we give You thanks that President Trump seems to be surging in these last 2 weeks before election day, November, 5. Father God, our hope is not in polls or in numbers of registered voters in a particular party, our hope is in You. We seem to get pulled into emotions, either good or bad, about who will win the 2024 elections, but we also seem to fail to remember who is in charge and it isn't us!!!! Lord, continue to remind us to keep our eyes on You and not on all the subjective guessing that is going on right now. Only You know who wins, only You will establish our president in 2025.
We ask You to send out legions of angels to stand guard all over our country because we hear rumors of riots being started, businesses being burned, but we stand in Your authority and decree that NO riots will be started, no businesses burned when this election is complete. We ask You to let legions of Your angels watch over every vote that has been and will be cast. We ask You to bring to light any people or locations who have been or are planning to manipulate votes to favor their candidate, bring swift justice to them and allow all ballots to be counted as they were intended to be. Jesus, history has taught us that only You can make voter rolls clean, only You can make this an honest election. We ask this in the name El Shaddai, God Almighty, the God who has ultimate power over all things.

1. Five soldiers fall in battle in Lebanon - Israel National News
Five IDF soldiers, Command Sergeant Major (res.) Mordechai Haim Amoyal, Sergeant Major (res.) Shmuel Harari, Master Sergeant (res.) Shlomo Aviad Nayman, Sergeant First Class (res.) Shuvael Ben-Natan, and Sergeant First Class Gai Ben-Haroosh fell in battle in Lebanon, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit announced Thursday evening.
The IDF Spokesperson's Unit stated that in the incident in which four of the soldiers were killed, an IDF officer and two reservists in the 222nd Battalion, 2nd "Carmeli" Brigade, were severely injured.
In addition, a combat officer in the 75th Battalion, 7th Armored Brigade, was severely injured today (Thursday) during combat in southern Lebanon.
In another incident, an IDF reservist in the 7155th Battalion, 55th Paratroopers Brigade, was severely injured today (Thursday) during combat in southern Lebanon.
In addition, a reservist combat officer in the 6226th Reconnaissance Battalion, 226th Paratroopers Brigade, was severely injured today (Thursday) during combat in the north.

2. IDF pounds Beirut after Hezbollah’s Simhat Torah eve rocket fire at central Israel - Times of Israel
Lebanon state media reported 17 Israeli strikes on Beirut’s southern suburbs, with six buildings leveled and the vacated offices of a Hezbollah-linked broadcaster hit on Wednesday, after the Lebanese terror group fired rockets at central Israel as the country began marking the Simhat Torah holiday.
AFPTV footage showed a massive explosion followed by smaller blasts in the southern suburbs following an Israeli army evacuation warning for the area, where Hezbollah holds sway.
The official National News Agency (NNA) reported at least 17 Israeli raids, marking one of the most intensive nights of strikes targeting the area in the past month.
Six buildings were destroyed around the suburb of Laylaki, NNA said, calling the raids “the most violent in the area since the beginning of the war.” (Read more)

Israel’s military chief said there was a possibility for a “sharp conclusion” to the conflict with Iran-backed Hezbollah in Lebanon, the military said on Thursday.
“In the north, there’s a possibility of reaching a sharp conclusion. We thoroughly dismantled Hezbollah’s senior chain of command,” Chief of the General Staff Herzi Halevi said in a video statement from a security assessment in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday. (Read more)

4. Israeli delegation to travel to Qatar on Sunday to restart hostage talks - i24 News
After exposing the involvement of six Al Jazeera journalists in terrorism and connections to terrorist groups, the IDF revealed additional documents indicating close cooperation between Hamas and the Qatari state-owned network, the military said on Thursday.
Cooperation ranged from prohibiting the channel from criticizing the terrorist organization to concealing incidents of failed launches and even establishing a secure communication line between Hamas and Al Jazeera, the IDF stated.
In a recovered 2022 document, Hamas described how it provided Al Jazeera with clear instructions on covering a failed Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) rocket launch in Jabalya, which resulted in the deaths of several civilians. (Read more)

Give credit where it’s due. In recent years, The New York Times has become an almost unreadable publication. Left-wing bias is present in nearly every article as a partisan agenda has been weaponized by a business plan in which the so-called “newspaper of record” has marketed itself almost exclusively to affluent liberal readers. This has resulted in a cascade of biased reporting and editing aimed at affirming those readers’ prejudices and pre-existing opinions about issues, candidates and lifestyle choices. Though other major papers, as well as broadcast and cable channels, have taken similar paths, no other news outlet better exemplifies the way legacy corporate mainstream media has discarded journalism for political activism.
Still, the organization is large enough that every once in a while, articles that are more in line with the traditional purpose of journalism—seeking the truth and exposing corrupt practices no matter who is the guilty party—seem to sneak into the Times. We pray this study will be released abroad all over our country because this policy has held students back from getting a real education and has only harmed other minorities that were not targeted. We thank You that this man's eyes have been opened to the truth of how so many are being deceived today. We might add that being raised with a strong faith in God can help anyone over any issues with the family they are born into as the Lord stands with those who are His. 3. Steve Bannon Slated for Release From Prison Next Tuesday – Discern Report
Former Trump White House chief advisor and War Room host Steve Bannon is scheduled to be released from federal prison next Tuesday, the Bureau of Prisons has confirmed.
Even though Bannon has bas been eligible for early release from prison for weeks, the Biden-Harris administration has ignored that stipulation and held firm on the Oct. 29 release date at which Bannon will have served the full 120 days in jail that he received as his sentence for being found guilty on a contempt of Congress charge. 4. On the Wrong Track: This is What an Imploding Economy Looks Like - The Economic Collapse Blog
One of the main reasons why Americans are in such a foul mood right now is because the economy is in really bad shape and it just keeps getting worse. This is very good news for the Trump campaign, because most Americans don’t want things to remain the same. A desire for change is in the air, but our economy is unraveling so rapidly that it won’t be easy for anyone to turn things around. We have built up a tremendous amount of momentum in the wrong direction, and it appears that the months ahead are not going to be pleasant.
Just look at what is happening to home sales. Last month, sales of previously existing homes fell to the lowest level that we have seen since October 2010. Of course in October 2010 we were dealing with the aftermath of a global financial crisis.
Overall, we are on pace “for the worst year since 1995” for sales of previously existing homes… We haven’t seen anything like this for a long time, and nobody can deny that the market for residential real estate is in a depressed state right now. And it appears that this month could be even worse than last month, because the number of mortgage applications being submitted is absolutely plummeting (Read more) |

5. Boots on the Ground After Hurricane Helene – The Epoch Times
The destruction in Appalachian communities needs to extend to the restoration of historic buildings.
Beautiful Western North Carolina is replete with small, charming, historic towns. However, on Sept. 27, many suffered devastating damage due to the impact of Hurricane Helene.
Many residents’ families have lived in the Appalachian communities for generations, but they’re not used to hurricanes. People were completely unprepared when 10 to 30 inches of rain pounded the mountainous region, causing creeks, streams, and rivers to swell their banks. The destructive power wrought by the downward flow of merging waterways and mudslides uprooted trees, lifted homes, hurled vehicles, and destroyed bridges.
In the past three-plus weeks since the monumental storm affected “1.8 million people living in the 25 counties,” according to the North Carolina Office of State Budget and Management, rural towns have been transformed from idyllic to nightmarish.

6. Harvard Lied: Data Shows Nearly 14,000 US Minors Were “Transitioned” (Mutilated) to LGBT Between 2019 and 2023 – Discern Report
New research by the public advocacy group Do No Harm has found that between the years of 2019 and 2023, a total of 13,994 minors across the United States received “gender-affirming care,” which for more than 5,700 of them included body butchery in the form of transgender surgery.
Debunking a Harvard University study from back in June that claims there is “little to no utilization of gender-affirming surgeries by transgender and gender-diverse (TGD) minors in the U.S.,” Do No Harm’s research proves once and for all that LGBT perversion has reached the bottom of the barrel in terms of the innocence being targeted by its doctrines.
Millions of American children these days are being bombarded day in and day out with LGBT perversion at school, in media and online. Many of these kids end up believing the lies they are told by their teachers, politicians and Hollywood actors about the gender “spectrum,” prompting them to lob off body parts and take hormone-destroying pharmaceuticals in order to become their “true selves.” (Read more)

Ultimate Projection

Projection is accusing someone of what you have done, are doing or intend to do. Projection is the ultimate in US politics. As a political consultant in the 80s and 90s, there was one action that was consistent in every opposing candidate—accusing another of what that candidate was doing. For example, if a candidate accused his opponent of having an affair, it was a sure signal that the accuser was having an affair. If a candidate accused his opponent of financial maleficence, you can rest assured that the accuser was playing funny games with money. We have seen this play out on the presidential stage very clearly over the recent elections. And it is continuing today just days away from the election.
Remember when Hillary Clinton was accusing Donald Trump of colluding with Russia? Turns out that she was bilking millions from Russian interests through the Clinton Foundation, AND it was Clinton, Barack Obama and the Democratic Party that paid to have a false dossier on Trump to “prove” their claims. Or how about when Clinton accused Trump of not accepting the results of the election because he is a threat to democracy. But it was Clinton, not Trump, that legally contested the election results in 2016, channeling democrat Al Gore in 2000 and again in 2004 with John Kerry. The Democratic Party has a long history of legally challenging election results. Harris Rejects Religious Exemptions in Abortion Debate

Democratic candidates have been running on abortion for years, and both President Joe Biden and now Vice President Kamala Harris have pledged to resurrect a more extreme version of Roe v. Wade if Democrats win the White House in November. But Harris is promising more than just unrestricted abortion on demand: she’s promising to make American Christians carry out and pay for abortions.
In an NBC News interview on Tuesday, Harris was asked if she would consider “making concessions” on abortion if she were to win the White House in order to garner support from pro-abortion Republicans like Senators Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) and Susan Collins (R-Maine). “What concessions would be on the table? Religious exemptions, for example; is that something that you would consider if the Republicans control Congress?” NBC’s Senior Washington Correspondent Hallie Jackson asked. Harris replied, “I don’t think we should be making concessions when we’re talking about a fundamental freedom to make decisions about your own body.”
When Jackson asked if Harris would consider religious exemptions as an “olive branch” extended to Murkowski or Collins, the vice president said that “a basic freedom has been taken from the women of America, the freedom to make decisions about their own body, and that cannot be negotiable, which is why we need to put back in the protections of Roe v. - Lord, throughout Your word, You are clear about the shedding of innocent blood. How more innocent can we get than a life or lives within our mother’s womb? We continue to put Kamala Harris, presidential candidate, into Your almighty hands as we continue to pray, on our faces, that she will not be the next president of the US. Visit the voters in the night, in dreams and visions, or put a weighty check in their spirits to warn them of the consequences of a victory for the far, far deceived and deceitful left. We forgive and pray for salvations; but we also decree and declare that abortion is wrong and that our citizens should never be forced to act in any way that denies or contradicts their religious beliefs.

‘Enthusiasm Is Not a Prerequisite for Voting’ Pastor Hamrick Reminds Christians

“I wish I were more optimistic about the involvement of the church,” Cornerstone Chapel Senior Pastor Gary Hamrick told FRC’s Joseph Backholm, “but unfortunately, I’m seeing a trend right now that Christians want to check out. They’re not enthusiastic about [the] candidates. And I understand that as far as enthusiasm goes, but I try to tell people enthusiasm is not a prerequisite for voting.” These are critical times, he insisted, “because if we as Christians decide to sit it out, guess what will fill the vacuum? Every evil policy. And then we have no one to blame except ourselves.”
For the purist, it’s not an easy election. But that’s the point, Hamrick argues. There is no perfect leader. “You have to look at the candidates and who most closely aligns with your biblical worldview.” That means “sometimes we have to unite in ways that promote righteousness, even though we don’t particularly like everything about it.” But let’s be honest, the longtime pastor pointed it. “Without it, we’re worse off.”
To those who say Hamrick is politicizing the pulpit, he replies simply, “Look, I’ve been preaching out of the same Bible for 30-plus years. I haven’t gone anywhere. As the culture has drifted further Left, it makes people like you and me look like we’re going further Right. … [I]t’s the culture that’s drifted. It’s not us.” And let’s face it, Hamrick explained. - Lord, we know from Your word that “judgment begins at the house of God”. We, the church, repent, Lord, for not broadcasting the Spirit of Your word far and wide across our nation, especially within our own congregations. We confess that many shepherds are not teaching or preaching Your word in its entirety but have given in to the secularists and “what seems right in their/our own eyes”. We have no excuse and ask for Your mercy and help as we approach November 5. As Your body, we have crossed many red lines into what are beliefs and deeds that are an abomination to You.
Therefore, as The Body of Christ repents, we must include voting in the upcoming election. It is our right and our sacred duty to vote, and to vote for those people who will serve the citizens and follow what is good and right in the eyes of Almighty God. We have no perfect candidate, nor will we until the Messiah returns; but we do have a very clear choice between the two candidates.
Abba Father, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, if we, Your people, will humble ourselves and repent, pray and vote, we have the chance of Your healing our land! Help us to choose light and life as we ALL head to the polls! May we ALL shout, “JESUS IS LORD!” In Yeshua’s name, AMEN!!!

Father, open the eyes of Your people to the stakes involved in this election’s results; and show them that by not voting, they are increasing the chances for total evil and the destruction of the America we know and love. May any still sleeping or thinking their vote won’t have any effect, be shaken awake by the truth of the cesspool the U.S. will become if we do not return to You. We know Pres. Trump is not perfect, but neither was King David nor Moses, etc.—yet You used them to bring great glory to Your name and to further Your kingdom on the earth! May we as imperfect Christian voters see that Trump is the best choice if we desire a decent (not perfect, but decent) homeland for us and our posterity--a life full of blessings such as freedom of speech, freedom of religion and the right to disagree with abortion, the blessings of affordable prices and living wages, and freedom from open borders and illegal alien criminals freely roaming through our land!

Pluto is probably best known for being a demoted planet. In 2006, the International Astronomical Union stripped it of its original classification, after narrowing the definition of a planet to be one that clears its orbit with its gravitational heft. Pluto doesn’t meet this membership criterion because its orbit is peppered with other icy bodies in the Kuiper belt.
While space scientists today still argue about Pluto’s rightful place in the pantheon of planets—some say its geology is as rich as that of any planet—no one can deny its scientific intrigue. From afar, Pluto once seemed boring and dead. After all, the dwarf planet is only two-thirds the size of our moon and resides more than 30 times farther out from the sun than does Earth. Before any mission to Pluto, scientists assumed that it would be an uneventful world. “I thought we were going to see something like an icy version of our moon,” says Fran Bagenal, a planetary scientist at the University of Colorado Boulder.
But despite its frigid temperatures on the surface, which drop to minus 400 degrees Fahrenheit, Pluto has a roaring internal geologic engine. That engine fashioned Pluto’s rich tapestry of flowing glaciers, jagged mountains and other unfamiliar terrestrial features on the surface.
To date, only a single mission, the 2015 New Horizons flyby, has ever dropped by Pluto. Even in a single brief encounter, the snapshots it returned of Pluto’s surface were enough to overturn many initial assumptions about this far-flung world.
