Iran vows to a strike Israel, America readies troops-pray!

Dear Intercessor,

Thank you for praying so actively for Israel! I wanted to share a sobering update and call for urgent prayer.

Iran has issued threats of preemptive attacks  against Israel.

According to Alarabiya online, Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian issued the threat on Monday. “... [A]ny preemptive action is possible in the coming hours,” Amir-Abdollahian said in a live interview broadcast on Iran state TV.

This, while the U.S. has now put about 2,000 U.S. troops on prepare-to-deploy orders, according to an NBC defense department source.

Pray with me for Israel to solidly defeat the terror attacks, that there would be no involvement by other nations that would widen the conflict, and for those who are being held hostage to be safely released.

Our prayer not only wages war in the heavenlies but is a great source of encouragement to friends and loved ones in Israel.

Macron Calls for ‘Ruthless’ Deportation of All Migrants with Ties to Islamic Extremism from France

French President Emmanuel Macron called for all radical Islamist migrants residing in France to be removed from the country in the wake of the suspected Islam-inspired assassination of a middle school teacher on Friday.

President Macron has tasked Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin to carry out a “ruthless” examination of the files of those who “carry hatred and terrorist ideologies” over the next 48 hours in order to remove foreign-born Islamists from France, Le Figaro reports.

It comes after Dominique Bernard, a middle school teacher in the city of Arras, was allegedly stabbed to death by a suspected Islamist named Mohamed Mogouchkov. The Russian-born suspect was reportedly on the country’s extremist watch list — referred to as having an “S file” — prior to the attack and had also reportedly been subject to a deportation order in 2014 that was successfully quashed by appeals from pro-migrant groups.

Darmanin has said out of the over 20,000 S files — not all of which remain active — there are at least 489 extremist foreigners who are considered to be a danger to the country residing in France. A further 300 radical foreigners are currently in prison or under house arrest. The minister said that the government will seek to “systematically deport” them following the end of their prison sentence. (Breitbart) Read more here.

- Father God, we thank You that the President of France is taking such stern measures to protect his people from Islamic extremists. We ask that our nation does the same. In Your Name, amen and amen.

- “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven." (Matthew 18:19)

Iran Warns It Will Intervene If Israel Launches Ground Assault In Gaza: REPORT
Iran warned on Saturday that it will intervene in the Israel-Hamas conflict if the Israel Defense Force (IDF) launches a ground assault in the Gaza Strip, according to diplomatic sources who spoke to Axios.

Iran has supported and funded Hamas for decades and views the terrorist group as a proxy that can carry out attacks on its behalf. Iran sent a message to Israel through the U.N. on Saturday that it will intervene in the Israel-Hamas conflict if the IDF begins a ground assault in Gaza, raising the threat of a much broader regional war, according to Axios.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian met with a UN diplomat on Saturday to discuss the conflict, according to Axios. Amir-Abdollahian said that Iran does not want to get involved in the conflict, but that it would if Israel crosses the “red line” of launching a ground assault in Gaza, according to Axios. Amir-Abdollahian also said Iran wants to assist in efforts to free the over 120 hostages Hamas has taken since Oct. 7.

Iran could intervene in the conflict in a number of ways; it could work through Hezbollah, a Lebanese terrorist group that it also uses as a proxy, and launch an attack through Israel’s northern border from Lebanon. It could also choose to get involved directly in the conflict through the country’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. (Daily Caller) Read more here.

- Father, we pray a hedge of protection around all nations that belong to You, and a move of Your Spirit to bring repentance for all. We ask for Your peace and protection against Iran’s vicious regime and declare that their words will fail by the power of the Blood of Jesus.

FBI Director Christopher Wray: Americans Should Stay ‘Vigilant’ of ‘Increased’ Hamas Threat
FBI Director Chris Wray warned Americans to stay “vigilant” Saturday as the bureau saw an increase in reports after Hamas threatened to carry out a “Day of Jihad.”

During a Saturday speech at the International Association of Chiefs of Police conference in San Diego, California, Wray took time to offer “heartfelt condolences to the people of Israel, and share the outrage I know we all feel at the sheer brutality and disregard for innocent lives there,” Fox News reported.

“History has been witness to antisemitic and other forms of violent extremism for far too long. Whether that be from foreign terrorist organizations, or those inspired by them, or domestic violent extremists motivated by their own racial animus, the targeting of a community because of their faith is completely unacceptable. We remain committed to continue confronting those threats — both here in the United States and overseas.”

Hamas, an Islamist militant group with control over Palestinian territory in the Gaza Strip, wounded roughly 3,000 people in addition to those they murdered, and kidnapped over 100. Israel launched a massive counterattack into Gaza shortly thereafter, killing at least 2,215 Palestinians, including more than 700 children, according to a UNICEF spokeswoman’s statement to CNN.

Wray called for vigilance in order to protect “our communities” from the uptick in reports of dangerous threats:

“In this heightened environment, there’s no question we’re seeing an increase in reported threats, and we have to be on the lookout, especially for lone actors who may take inspiration from recent events to commit violence of their own. And I’d encourage you to stay vigilant, because as the first line of defense in protecting our communities, you’re often the first to see the signs that someone may be mobilizing to violence. And I’d also ask you to continue sharing any intelligence or observations you may have.”

“On our end, we’re committed to doing the same, so that together, we can safeguard our communities,” the FBI director added. (Breitbart) Read more here.

- Lord, we pray that You will move on Your people, as well as all Americans to be watchful and guard their steps. We thank You that You take care of Your own, and will keep everyone safe. We also ask for faith, discernment, and knowledge for Your people in these difficult times.

- “Forever, O Lord, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens. Your faithfulness endures to all generations; you have established the earth, and it stands fast.” (Psalm 119: 89-90)

Christian lawmakers offer open-ended
support for Israel
Israel has a duty to take appropriate measures to ensure the security of its people for as long as necessary, the legislators from 30 nations said.

The heads of more than 30 pro-Israel parliamentary caucuses around the world have declared their staunch, open-ended support for Israel’s military offense against Hamas in the Gaza Strip following the surprise attacks last weekend.

The move by the Israel Allies Foundation’s global network comes as international attention is shifting away from the terrorist assault to the humanitarian situation in the coastal territory.

“The people of Israel have endured relentless acts of terror and aggression by Hamas, an internationally recognized terrorist organization that consistently undermines peace and stability in the region,” the caucus heads’ statement read. “Israel has demonstrated remarkable restraint and resilience in the face of continuous attacks on its sovereignty and innocent civilian lives.

“The safety and well-being of any nation’s citizens are paramount, and Israel, like any other sovereign state, has the right and duty to take appropriate measures to ensure the security of its people for as long as they deem necessary,” it continued.

The letter was signed by lawmakers from countries including the Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Lithuania, Moldova, the Netherlands, Norway, Slovakia, Costa Rica, Honduras, Guatemala and the U.K.

The support follows a similar letter released earlier by the heads of the U.S. Congressional Israel Allies Caucus. (JNS.org) Read more here.

1. China Issues Ominous War Warning to U.S. - Newsweek

China has reacted to a recent U.S. report weighing up the possibility of simultaneous wars against both Moscow and Beijing by warning Washington that "those who play with fire will perish by it."

The U.S. is not ready to face the challenge of the growing nuclear threat posed by Russia and China. This is according to a 145-page report released by the Congressional Commission on the Strategic Posture of the United States on Thursday.

"It is an existential challenge for which the United States is ill-prepared, unless its leaders make decisions now," the report states. The panel behind the report, led by a bipartisan panel of six Democrats and six Republicans, produced the document after a year of research into the topic.

In the report, the behavior of both Russia and China is described as "militarily troubling and increasingly aggressive," something that in turn has increased "the risk of conflict with two nuclear peers." China is expected to reach nuclear parity with the U.S. by the mid-2030s, according to the report. (Read more)

- Lord, we pray that You will teach us to wage war Your way, and grant the U.S. the ability to prepare for any eventuality. Bring more weapons, ammunition, along with Your mighty wisdom for our military leaders. Bring also the truth and reality of the situation to them.

- “Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle;” (Psalm 144:1a)

Republican Florida Rep. Cory Mills announced Saturday on X (formerly Twitter) that his office facilitated the evacuation of 96 Americans out of Israel amidst the conflict with Hamas.

Mills previously stated he would facilitate the evacuation of stranded Americans from the danger presented by Hamas, per News Nation. As of Saturday, he reportedly helped almost a hundred Americans return home safely.

“Our office and team haS [sic] now gotten out 96 Americans from Israel. 77 of which I was on myself,” Mills announced on X.  “We’ve also secured a charter aircraft that can hold 218 passengers. It Will not cost anything the Americans needing ti [sic] get out of Israel.”

“I’m also proud to report that we’ve evacuated @billhuizenga son and he’s safely out of Israel,” the congressman added. (Read more)

3. Biden's NSA pressed on previous comments about 'quieter' Middle East: 'So far off the mark' - Fox News

NBC News' Kristen Welker pressed President Biden's National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan about how he was "so far off the mark" in describing the conflict in the Middle East as "quieter" today than it has been in two decades.

"Jake, as you know, there’s been a lot of discussion about how this attack could have been missed. I want to play you some remarks that you made eight days before the attack and get your reaction on the other side," Welker asked before playing the clip.

Sullivan said the Middle East was quieter than it has been in a long time about a week before Hamas attacked Israel.

"The Middle East region is quieter today than it has been in two decades. Now challenges remain. Iran’s nuclear weapons program, and the tensions between Israelis and Palestinians, but the amount of time I have to spend on crisis and conflict in the Middle East today compared to any of my predecessors going back to 9/11 is significantly reduced," he said.

"Jake, why was your assessment there so far off the mark?" Welker asked.

"Well, first, Kristen, I made those comments in the context of developments in the wider Middle East region over the last few years after two decades that involved a civil war in Yemen and a massive humanitarian catastrophe, a civil war in Syria and a massive refugee crisis, an invasion and insurgency in Iraq, a NATO military operation in Libya. Iranian-backed attacks on both Saudi and the UAE as well as many other steps including the rise of a terrorist Caliphate that actually occupied a huge amount of territory," he said. (Read more)

- Lord, there are excuses floating around the administration about everything. Their inability to simply say they were wrong appears to be nonexistent.  We pray for all of them to take responsibility for their actions and reverse course when necessary.

4. DeSantis Rejects US Welcoming Gaza Refugees – Daily Caller

Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis stated the U.S. should not be welcoming refugees from Gaza fleeing the Hamas-initiated conflict to come to the states at a campaign event Saturday in Creston, Iowa.

The 2024 presidential candidate declared, “We cannot accept people from Gaza into this country as refugees,” Politico reported. “If you look at how [people in Gaza] behave, not all of them are Hamas, but they are all anti-Semitic,” DeSantis continued.

The comments come as the future of the Palestinian territory remains uncertain in light of Hamas recently attacking Israel and the war which subsequently erupted.

In retaliation to the aggression by Hamas, Israeli military forces are expected to commence a ground invasion of Palestinian territory, per the Associated Press (AP). The invasion is said to be all encompassing, involving military assets from the “air, ground and sea,” the outlet continues. (Read more)

- Lord, though so many wish to help the Palestinians, we pray that wisdom will prevail in this issue. It is impossible to know who is friend or foe at this time.

5. Biden: Israel must eliminate Hamas, but path to Palestinian statehood also needed - CBS News/Bill Koenig

(Editor's note: this comment was made by Joe Biden during a lengthy interview
with Scott Pelley on CBS News on Sunday morning. To view all of this interview,
please go here.)

US President Joe Biden says Hamas must be destroyed but that there also must be a “path to a Palestinian state.”

Biden says during an interview on CBS’s 60 Minutes that Hamas “engaged in barbarism that is as consequential as the Holocaust.”

Asked if he thinks there should be a ceasefire, he answers that “Israel has to respond,” hinting that Jerusalem has US backing to forcefully attack the terror group.

- Father God, it grieves our hearts that, even in light of the barbaric invasion of Israel by Hamas last weekend, Joe Biden still supports the two-state solution. The land belongs to the Jew.

- 2 "And God spoke to Moses and said to him: “I am the Lord. 3 I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name Lord I was not known to them. 4 I have also established My covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, in which they were strangers."    (Exodus 6:2-4)
6. Nearly 20 GOP governors urge Biden to 'project American strength' by 'unequivocally' supporting Israel" - Fox News

A group of 19 Republican governors sent a letter to President Biden on Friday in which they criticized his administration's initial response to Hamas terrorists' attack on Israel and called on him to provide "unequivocal support" for Israel as it continues to fight the terror organization.

The governors said in the letter that they want to offer their support to Israel and strongly condemn Hamas' attacks against the Jewish State, which began last week.

"We pledge our steadfast support to our ally Israel following the appalling attacks perpetrated against Israel's sovereignty and innocent civilians on October 7, 2023," the governors wrote. "We write today to make clear that our states absolutely condemn these heinous acts of terrorism led by Iran-backed Hamas and proudly stand with Israel and the Jewish people." (Read more)

- Thank You Father for the strong voice of these governors in holding Biden to task regarding the position of American states in respect of Israel and we bless them, in Jesus name  We pray for even more states across this nation to stand with Israel and against equivocation or appeasement.  We call for the United States to be a nation that blesses Israel, from the leader of every state, to the highest position in our federal government, according to Your word.  Amen.

- " . . . for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist."  (Luke 21:15)

7. House GOP Introduces Bill to Block Palestinian Refugees from Coming into the U.S. - American Greatness

Two Republican representatives will introduce a bill to forbid the United States from allowing any Palestinian refugees to enter the country, in the midst of the ongoing war in Israel.

As Fox News reports, Congressmen Tom Tiffany (R-Wisc.) and Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) are set to introduce the Guaranteeing Aggressors Zero Admission Act, or the GAZA Act. The legislation will prohibit the Biden Administration from giving visas to anyone who holds a Palestinian passport, and would also forbid the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) from allowing Palestinians into the country as a result of its parole program.

“We can’t let President Biden abuse our parole and visa rules to bring unvetted Palestinians into American communities the way he did with thousands of unvetted Afghans,” Tiffany said on Twitter. “I introduced the GAZA Act to protect America’s national security.”

At the same time, Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) is preparing to introduce his own bill to force the Biden Administration to cancel all visas for any foreign nationals who “endorse or espouse terrorist activity.” (Read more)

- Holy King, we appreciate these Congressmembers who are standing up for our nation and working to build a legal wall that should keep terrorists out of our country.  We pray for enforcement features with teeth, so that they can actually compel compliance and protection at every gate, in Jesus name.  We pray for Your divine intervention Holy One, to thwart and destroy every plot being cooked up, so that we will not see any potential evil actions on our soil, in Jesus name.

- "I know that the Lord will maintain The cause of the afflicted, And justice for the poor.  Surely the righteous shall give thanks to Your name; The upright shall dwell in Your presence."  (Psalm 140:12-13)

8. McCarthy calls out Republicans who 'disrupted the nation' by siding with Dems in ouster: 'Biggest' mistake – Fox News

California Rep. Kevin McCarthy called out the eight House Republicans who sided with Democrats in the historic ouster earlier this month, accusing them of "disrupt[ing] the nation" as he vowed to help Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, become his replacement behind the gavel.

"The real challenge here is eight Republicans did something. No one would have thought that they would work with every single Democrat to disrupt this nation, to remove me as speaker," he told FOX News on Sunday.

"It has taught people now that why don't you just go work with Democrats and disrupt government? This will go down in history as one of the biggest mistakes these eight have made in the process," he continued.

The California Republican faced an uphill battle after verbal onslaught from some hardline Republicans, most notoriously Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz, led to the historic de-throning after a majority approved the motion to vacate. (Read more)

- Lord, we understand the need for many of the things demanded by that small handful of Republicans.  But there is a reality that they refuse to see: The Senate is controlled by Democrats and nothing they proposed will see the light of day. We pray that bitterness and ego will be removed from all members of Congress on both sides. We ask that truth penetrate the hardness of heart to bring about real change.

- “Repent, therefore, of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord that, if possible, the intent of your heart may be forgiven you.” (Acts 8:22)
9. Democrats Worry About ‘Old, Slowing Down,’ and ‘Feeble’ Joe Biden – Breitbart

Democrats remain concerned about President Joe Biden’s ability to win reelection, as voters reportedly perceive him as “old, slowing down,” and “feeble.”

A majority of Democrats are “concerned” about Biden’s ability to perform his job, given the fact he is 80 years old, recent polling shows. In addition, a strong majority of Americans believe Biden is too old for another term as president and hold concerns about his “health and mental acuity.”

“I think it’s important to confront it [worry],” Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) told Politico’s Jonathan Martin Wednesday about the Democrat Party’s fear that Biden cannot defeat former President Donald Trump in a general election.

“I think you got to be as public as you possibly can in addressing issues, and that’s how you can settle it,” embattled Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT) said about Biden’s age. “But it’s not going to be easy because he is [going to be] 82 years old.”

The senators’ concerns are based on polling and focus groups that show swing voters’ first word or phrase used to describe Joe Biden is “some combination of ‘old, slowing down’ or, if they were harsher, ‘dementia or feeble,’” a pollster told Politico. The pollster reportedly pushed respondents to receive positive impressions of Joe Biden, and many could not remember any alleged accomplishments. (Read more)

- Father, we pray that You will bring about the right choice for President who is not “feeble” or struggling mentally. We pray on our knees for our nation, that You would undertake to help us in these desperate times. Grant us all truth, faith, and righteousness.

- “Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness.”  (Ephesians 6:14)
10. Outbreak of diphtheria kills 600 in Nigeria - Africa News

Nigeria is grappling with a devastating diphtheria outbreak that has claimed the lives of more than 600 people, primarily children, since its onset in December 2022. This recent outbreak surpasses the 2011 incident, which reported a mere 98 cases.

Kano state, located in the northern region, has become the epicenter of this health crisis, bearing the brunt of the outbreak with over 500 recorded fatalities. However, there is a glimmer of hope as the number of active cases has recently declined.

Diphtheria is a highly contagious disease that primarily affects the nose and throat and can also lead to skin ulcers. It spreads through coughs, sneezes, and close contact with infected individuals, with severe cases often proving fatal. (Read more)

- Father God, we lift up those who are grieving their lost loved ones due to this outbreak in Nigeria. We ask that You place Your hedge of protection over this nation, and that this outbreak will disappear from the land. Thank You, O Lord, for hearing our prayer, amen and amen.

- "You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday."

(Psalm 91:5,6)

The Daily Jot

Chaos And The Holy Spirit

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, October 16, 2023

God brought order on the earth out of chaos. Genesis 1:2 says, “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” John 1:1-5 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shined in darkness; and the darkness did not comprehend it.” Herein, God, the Holy Spirit, and the Word, Christ bringing light and order. Where is this light today?

When we look at events like what happened in Israel, many ask where is God in all this? Where is the light today? Just as in the Garden of Eden, God not only made a wonderful place for his creation, but also gave Adam and Eve the freedom to make their own choices. This holds true today. We each have the freedom to choose. Evil crept into the Garden and used crafty and vain words to deceive Adam and Eve into sin. There were great consequences. Adam and Eve chose to believe the serpent rather than God. They were removed from the Garden. They became truly mortal. Their first-born was a murderer. Their life became difficult because of the choice they had made. Read More

Israel at War! Stand in Unity and Support for Israel and the Jewish People!
Pictured above: 900 roses laid out in front of Israel embassy in Stockholm in honor of the 900 Jews slaughtered by Hamas. The death toll is now over 1300.

I stand united in support of Israel and the Jewish people worldwide following the brutal, unprovoked and unprecedented massacres and kidnappings by Hamas, an internationally recognized terrorist organization, against innocent Israeli civilians, many of whom were celebrating the Jewish holy day of Simchat Torah, a holiday which celebrates the joy of Scripture. Hamas’s crimes against humanity are violent manifestations of the terrorist group’s genocidal aspirations against the Jewish people and the State of Israel. And they must be recognized and condemned as such. I am here to stand and be counted and pledge my support for our Jewish brothers and sisters during this devastating time, and I will be vigilant in prayer for Israel and the Jewish people. I unapologetically stand with the State of Israel and the Jewish people now and always.

Deafening Silence

Over the weekend, FBI Director Christopher Wray finally admitted what anyone with half a brain already knew. We are facing a higher potential for terrorist attacks in the U.S. by those “who may take inspiration from recent events to commit violence of their own.”

A Jewish student’s room at Drexel University was set on fire. An Israeli student at Columbia University was attacked. Swastikas are showing up everywhere, including the high school my children attended.

But I still don’t see Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and other top progressives condemning this hatred, deeply rooted in radical Islam, with the same degree of passion they have when they condemn half the country that wants to make America great again.

By the way, where’s Antifa? They claim to be fighting fascism. Well, we have real Nazis right now on university campuses calling for a second Holocaust. Did Antifa suddenly go on vacation? Of course, not. When these thugs fight “fascists,” they mean us – conservatives and Christians.

Joe Biden said Donald Trump called neo-Nazis in Charlottesville “fine people.” He continually repeats that lie. Trump did not say that. He specifically condemned the neo-Nazis at the Charlottesville riot.

But I have not heard Joe Biden condemn the students carrying Hamas flags and chanting, “Gas the Jews.”  He has not called them “Nazis.” Neither has Kamala Harris, Chuck Schumer or Nancy Pelosi.

For days now, the leadership of the neo-Marxist left has refused to condemn the Nazism and anti-Semitism on full display at America’s university campuses.

Their silence is deafening. Their silence is complicity.

Republicans have won the race to determine the next governor of Louisiana, flipping the state from Democrat control in the first major contest ahead of the 2024 elections.

Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry was declared the clear winner in Saturday's jungle primary, reaching the 50% vote threshold needed to avoid a runoff. The Associated Press called the race.

Landry and Democrat Shawn Wilson were considered the front-runners in the crowded race to replace term-limited Democrat Gov. John Bel Edwards.

As the first major test for Republicans and Democrats ahead of the 2024 elections, the outcome could signal momentum for the GOP going into this year's remaining races, as well as the presidential election year. (Fox News) Read more

- Lord, we praise You for this first test result, and ask that You move mightily across the country to grant wisdom and understanding of the stakes involved. We bind all election fraud, or any other tactic that would hinder these elections. We ask that Your perfect choice of candidates be elected to office.

And Now . . . Lion of Judah: ROAR!!!!

He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war.
He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud;
He shall prevail against His enemies."

After centuries out of sight, the oldest surviving Hebrew Bible is making a permanent move to Israel
The Codex Sassoon, which contains all 24 books of the Hebrew Bible, dates from the 10th century.

It was a bittersweet moment for ANU — The Museum of the Jewish People in Tel Aviv. After centuries away from the public eye, the Codex Sassoon, the world’s earliest surviving copy of the Hebrew Bible, was finally on display in Israel — but the display was intended to be temporary, with the Codex’s permanent home not yet decided.

Then, in March, Alfred Moses, 94, learned that the Bible was at the museum on temporary display only. So, he reached out to Shulamith Bahat, CEO of ANU America, and told her he would buy it — with plans to eventually donate it to the museum.

On Thursday, some seven months later, the Codex Sassoon made a permanent move to Israel, with The Museum of the Jewish People set to begin displaying it next week. At least at first, it will be displayed open to the page bearing the 10 Commandments — “the crown of our story,” Bahat said — to represent the universality of the Hebrew Bible.

“I felt something was missing there,” said Bahat, of the museum before the Codex. “Now there is nothing missing. Now the place is complete. It was meant to be.”

On May 17, Moses, an attorney who served as U.S. ambassador to Romania during the Clinton administration, purchased the Codex — which dates from around 900 C.E. and includes all 24 books of the Hebrew Bible, and an extensive collection of critical notes to the text known as the Masorah — at auction at Sotheby’s for $38.1 million

DeSantis says nearly 300 Floridians returned to Sunshine State after being stranded in Israel
The flight carrying 270 passengers included 91 children and four dogs, Project DYNAMO CEO Bryan Stern said

Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Sunday that a flight carrying 270 people, who were stranded in Israel following flight cancellations amid the country's war against Hamas terrorists, has landed in the Sunshine State.

The flight landed at Tampa International Airport from Tel Aviv, the governor's office said in a news release. The partnership with the search and rescue non-profit group Project DYNAMO also brought seven additional evacuees to Orlando.

"I am proud of how quickly we have been able to activate resources and do what the federal government could not – get Floridians and other Americans back home, reunited with their families, free of charge," DeSantis said in the release.Once the flight landed in Tampa, evacuees were able to access resources from state agencies, according to the release. DeSantis is also sending medical supplies, hygiene products, clothing and children's toys to Israel to assist impacted Israelis.

The Florida Division of Emergency Management will lead efforts for additional flights, which will continue to transport Floridians back to the state and move more supplies to Israel. (Fox News) Read more here.
- Abba, You are our Redeemer and Rescuer and we PRAISE You for the return of Floridians stranded in Israel! We ask for a special blessing to fall upon Governor DeSantis for his decisive actions and swift coordination of extensive details. Give uncommon wisdom and provision to the Florida Division of Emergency Management in their continual efforts to rescue Floridians from Israel and provide needed supplies to Israeli civilians.

May the successful actions of Governor DeSantis and his dedicated team serve as an example for our current Administration to unite in order to quickly rescue hostages and stranded Americans left behind! In Jesus mighty name-Amen

Thought for the Day
Prayer softens hearts, silences strife and extinguishes fire. Pray with the heart, every prayer gives relief to a suffering soul (Mk. 11:24-26; I Jn. 5:14).
A Special Message
The Sinner's Prayer
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."

Scripture: The LORD of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. Psalm 46:7

Lyrics:
O come behold the works of God
The nations at His feet
He breaks the bow and bends the spear
And tells the wars to cease
O Mighty One of Israel
You are on our side
We walk by faith in God who burns the chariots with fire

Chorus:
Lord of Hosts you’re with us
With us in the fire
With us as a shelter
With us in the storm
You will lead us
Through the fiercest battle
Oh where else would we go
But with the Lord of Hosts?

O God of Jacob, fierce and great
You lift Your voice to speak
The earth it bows and all
The mountains move into the sea
O Lord You know the hearts of men
And still you let them live
O God, who makes the mountains melt
Come wrestle us and win
O God who makes the mountains melt
Come wrestle us and win

Chorus

Though oceans roar, You are the Lord of all
The one who calms the wind and waves and makes my heart be still
Though the earth gives way, the mountains move into the sea
The nations rage, I know my God is in control
Though oceans roar, You are the Lord of all
The one who calms the wind and waves and makes my heart be still
Though the earth gives way, the mountains move into the sea
The nations rage, I know my God is in control

Chorus
