2.1M Korean Christians attend joint worship service for repentance, resist LGBT ideology
|

SEOUL, South Korea — In the afternoon of Reformation Sunday, some 2.1 million Christians gathered for a joint worship service to “unite for repentance, revival and restoration of holiness in our society.” According to organizers, an estimated 1.1 million joined onsite despite the bad weather with another 1 million joining online (although police estimated a lower figure for the in-person gathering). The unprecedented joint worship service brought together Korean churches across denominations as they affirmed traditional marriage and family and prayed for their nation.
The initial trigger for the event was an anti-discrimination law that Korean Christian leaders fear will pave the way to gay marriage and ultimately open the country up to trans ideology that would harm families and restrict the freedoms of churches to live out their faith. They point to Western countries, such as the U.K. and Canada, as warning signs of what might be to come unless believers stand up at this time. “Through this worship service that we offer today in spirit and truth, I hope that families and churches will live and that the Korean church and the world church will experience a new revival,” the Rev. Jung-Hyun Oh, senior pastor of Sarang Church, told attendants, according to reporting by Christian Daily Korea. Three sermons preached during the afternoon highlighted the importance of the Church not remaining silent, so they could safeguard families and children, with one pastor praying to God, “Please accept our repentance and protect our families.” (Christian Post) Read More

Pennsylvania Supreme Court Sides with GOP in Last-Minute Mail-in Dispute
|
|
The Pennsylvania Supreme Court shut down an effort to allow mail-in ballots lacking a handwritten date to be counted in the 2024 election.
The ruling overturns a decision from a Commonwealth Court finding that the state law requiring a handwritten date was unconstitutional. The Pennsylvania GOP appealed that ruling to the state supreme court, and now undated mail-in ballots will not be counted in the upcoming election.
Justice Kevin Dougherty admonished the Commonwealth Court for its ruling in a forcefully-worded opinion relating to Friday's ruling.
"'This Court will neither impose nor countenance substantial alterations to existing laws and procedures during the pendency of an ongoing election.’ We said those carefully chosen words only weeks ago. Yet they apparently were not heard in the Commonwealth Court, the very court where the bulk of election litigation unfolds," Dougherty wrote.
"Today’s order, which I join, rights the ship. And it sends a loud message to all courts in this Commonwealth: in declaring we would not countenance substantial alterations to existing laws and procedures during the pendency of an ongoing election, we said what we meant and meant what we said," he continued.

Bombshell Report Exposes Biden-Harris Alliance with United Nations to "Fast-Track" Migrants into US

US Economy Added 12,000 Jobs in October, Well Below Economists' Expectations - Fox
|
|
U.S. job growth slowed down in October, coming in well short of economists' expectations, while the unemployment rate was unchanged.
The Labor Department on Friday reported that employers added 12,000 jobs in October, well below the 113,000 gain that was predicted by LSEG economists.
The unemployment rate was 4.1%, in line with expectations.
The number of jobs added in the prior two months were both revised downward, with job creation in August revised down by 81,000 from a gain of 159,000 to 78,000, while September was revised down by 31,000 from a gain of 254,000 to 223,000.
Private sector payrolls contracted by 28,000 in October after LSEG economists projected they would rise by 90,000.
The manufacturing sector saw employment decline by 46,000 jobs in October, which the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) noted was largely due to strike activity in the transportation equipment manufacturing sector. About 33,000 unionized machinists at Boeing have been on strike since early September. (Fox News) Read more

1. Rubio Demands U.S. Government Stop Importation Of Slave-Made Drugs - Daily Wire
Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) sent a letter to FDA Commissioner Robert Califf and DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas demanding they guarantee that goods imported to the United States are not made with slave labor.
In 2021, Rubio introduced the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA), which was signed into law. The Act would “ensure that goods made with the slave labor of Uyghurs and other predominantly Muslim ethnic groups in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region and elsewhere in the People’s Republic of China do not enter the United States,” Rubio’s website noted.
In the letter, Rubio noted “recent reports identifying two pharmaceutical producers based in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR) of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) that are permitted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to distribute their products in the U.S.,” adding, “This is in clear violation of current law which prohibits imports from the region due to the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) egregious human rights abuses, including genocide, forced abortions, and forced sterilizations. 2. Republicans call on Mayorkas to reinstate COVID-era border policy amid tuberculosis 'surge' - Fox
Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, led some of his Republican colleagues in calling for Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to reinstate a COVID-19 era border policy due to rising tuberculosis cases in the U.S.
"Due to your negligence and refusal to enforce our current laws, tuberculosis (TB) is rapidly spreading through the millions of unscreened illegal immigrants released into the interior of the United States, putting American lives and health at severe risk," Lee wrote in a letter sent to Mayorkas Wednesday, which was also signed by senators Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., and Roger Marshall, R-Kan.
The senators requested that he close the border, detain and deport "inadmissable" immigrants, reinstate the Trump-era Remain in Mexico policy and bring back Title 42, which gave authority to turn away illegal immigrants due to the risk of communicable diseases.
The Biden administration lifted the policy last year despite bipartisan pleading against him doing so.
"The Biden-Harris administration’s destruction of America’s southern border has resulted in violent crime, human trafficking, drug smuggling and now a surge in a disease that was declining for nearly three decades before they took power. Secretary Mayorkas must answer for his part in this failure," Lee told Fox News Digital in a statement. Read more

3. Harris slammed for hiring adviser with ties to dark money group pushing gas stove ban: 'Par for the course' - Fox
Energy advocates are knocking Vice President Kamala Harris for bringing on a top campaign adviser with ties to a controversial environmental group behind the effort to ban gas stoves.
O.H. Skinner, executive director of the nonprofit Alliance for Consumers, told Fox News Digital that "this is sadly par for the course."
"For years the left has been focused on assaulting consumers and the things in their homes. That has included a litany of Biden-Harris regulations and mandates," he said. "From ‘green’ regulations on dishwashers and washing machines to EV mandates and bans on gas stoves, a Harris-Walz administration will no doubt continue to eviscerate consumer choice and force Americans to pay more for everyday products and household appliances that do a worse job." 4. Trump Slaps CBS With $10 Billion Lawsuit Over ’60 Minutes’ Harris Edit - Daily Caller
Former President Donald Trump filed a $10 billion lawsuit Thursday against CBS after the network appeared to manipulate a recent “60 Minutes” segment to allegedly favor his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris.
The lawsuit claims that CBS aired a curated version of Harris’s response to a critical question about the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, purposely omitting parts of her answer that cast doubt on the Biden administration’s stance on Israel’s military actions, according to the complaint filed in federal court in Texas. Trump’s legal team argued that CBS engaged in “deliberate deception,” presenting an edited version of the interview that avoided what the lawsuit calls a “word salad” of mixed messaging from Harris.
“To paper over Kamala’s ‘word salad’ weakness, CBS used its national platform on 60 Minutes to cross the line from the exercise of judgment in reporting to deceitful, deceptive manipulation of news,” the lawsuit reads.

5. Fox News Host Presses Dem Rep On Whether She Truly Believes Trump Would Detain Her In Internment Camp -Breitbart
Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum questioned Democratic Michigan Rep. Debbie Dingell on Thursday about whether she actually thinks former President Donald Trump would place her in an internment camp if he is reelected in November.
Dingell claimed on “The Lead with Jake Tapper” Monday that Trump “wants to start internment camps” and might place her “in one” due to being a political rival. MacCallum, on “The Story with Martha MacCallum,” asked Dingell why she held that view, with the representative initially calling it “a joke,” but then suggesting there was some truth to her comment.
“I will be serious and say I said that as a joke because I am reminding members, sort of as a joke, because the president has made it very clear he’s going after his political enemies, and it is well documented what he has gone after me on numerous times because he doesn’t agree with what I’ve said or done,” Dingell said. “I try to be respectful.” Read more

We pray that You would put Your bit in the mouths of all of America’s leaders to cause them to stop saying foolish things, either about Trump or others.

6. North Korea Tests Long-Range Missile After Deploying Troops To Russia- Daily Wire
North Korea tested an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) on Thursday designed to threaten the United States, the first ICBM test in nearly a year.
The test comes less than a week before the U.S. presidential election and as North Korea sends thousands of troops to reinforce Russia’s military in the war in Ukraine. North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un called the test “an appropriate military action” in response to threatening moves from its adversaries.
“The test-fire is an appropriate military action that fully meets the purpose of informing the rivals, who have intentionally escalated the regional situation and posed a threat to the security of our Republic recently, of our counteraction will,” Kim was quoted in North Korea state news, according to Reuters. 1. 130 rockets, 10 drones fired at Israel Saturday; helicopter downs drone south of Haifa - Times of Israel
Over 130 rockets were fired at northern Israel from Lebanon throughout Saturday, the military said, with sirens repeatedly sending people rushing to shelters.
Meanwhile, 10 drones targeted the country — six from Lebanon, three from Iraq and one whose origin was unclear. Seven drones were intercepted by the military.
A rocket attack early in the morning in central Israel wounded 11 people after one of three rockets struck a home in Tira. The IDF said it was investigating the failure to intercept the rocket. (Read more)

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had to cancel a visit to the town of Metula, on the Lebanese border, on Sunday while he was en route to the town after a UAV detonated in the area.
The UAV exploded in Metula about 20 minutes before Netanyahu's scheduled arrival.
The Prime Minister's Office commented on the reports that he chose not to meet residents of the north during his visit and wrote: "In contrast to the fake reports in the media, Prime Minister Netanyahu did not ask to cancel his visit to Metula today." (Read more)

The Prime Minister's Office on Saturday night responded to the publication of the security document this evening and denied any connection to its leak.
According to them, the document in question was not passed on at all from IDF Intelligence to the Prime Minister's Office, and that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was first exposed to it only through the media.
According to the office, the person mentioned in the leak had never participated in security discussions, had not been exposed to classified information, and had not taken part in secret visits. "To suggest that the publication of the article in Germany – whose purpose was to support Israel's positions, and which included a document of the kind that has been published with official approval in the past – caused any damage to the negotiations for the release of the hostages or to Israel's security is simply ridiculous," the Prime Minister's Office said. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s close aid is suspected of leaking sensitive security documents as part of an orchestrated campaign to thwart a hostage deal, court documents revealed on Sunday night.
Speculation about the case had seized public attention for days, even before Rishon Letsiyon Magistrate Court Judge Menahem Mizrahi partially lifted a gag order on details of the security breach.
It has already been billed as one of the most serious security breaches in the country’s history. Details are scarce, but a court decision showed that four individuals were under investigation, including a civilian, Eliezer Feldstein, a close associate of Netanyahu’s who had been informally working for him. Iran’s supreme leader on Saturday threatened Israel and the US with “a crushing response” over attacks on Iran and its allies.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei spoke as Iranian officials are increasingly threatening to launch yet another strike against Israel after its October 26 attack on the Islamic Republic that targeted military bases and facilities and that Iran said killed at least five people.
Israel’s retaliatory strikes on Iranian military facilities came weeks after the October 1 attack, in which Iran launched 200 ballistic missiles at Israel, sending most of the population rushing to bomb shelters and safe rooms, causing relatively minor damage to military bases and some residential areas, and killing a Palestinian man in the West Bank. Judge Orders Arizona Secty of State to Turn Over Names of Voters Who Registered Without Proof of Citizenship

A new ruling from an Arizona judge will require the secretary of state to immediately release a list of 218,000 individuals who registered to vote without providing proof of citizenship, which is required by law.
Today’s ruling comes one month after Arizona secretary of state Adrian Fontes, a Democrat elected in 2022, revealed that a computer glitch had allowed the affected individuals to register to vote without providing proof of citizenship.
ontes had argued that his office didn’t have a full, verifiable list of voters affected by the glitch and said the task would be further complicated because the driver’s license database, which is where the glitch originated, is managed by the state department of transportation’s motor-vehicle division.
He testified that his office has a list of 98,000 of the 218,000 individuals affected by the glitch.

Anti-Trump Protests Are Being Readied In The Nation’s Capital
|

|
Donald Trump’s opponents appear to be planning potentially violent demonstrations that could rock the nation’s capital if the former President should win the 2024 election. This dark prospect emerges from current requests for a demonstration permit I obtained from the National Park Service (NPS), the federal agency which regulates legal demonstrations in Washington, D.C.
Richard’s Substack is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support NPS permit records show that nearly all the post-election and Inaugural Day permits have been filed by leftwing anti-Trump groups, including pro-Palestinian and “defend democracy” groups.
The applicants claim about 15,000 protesters could descend on Washington, D.C. on election night and up to 200,000 anti-Trump protests could arrive leading up to and including Inauguration Day, when the next President is sworn in.
On election night a group that calls itself “Defend Democracy Election Night Watch Party” states in its permit application that the event is an “election night watch event for advocates of democracy.” They report: “We’ll watch the election results live as they come in and speakers will talk about the importance of ensuring that every vote counts.” They will gather at Freedom Plaza in Washington, D.C., a common place for demonstrations.
About another 10,000 people are expected to descend on Washington four days after the election for an event titled, “Rally to Defend Democracy.”
It’s also revealing that some anti-Trump activists already are planning some form of “resistance” on election night – a possible code word for violence. Lacy MacAuley, a DC activist is quoted as coyly telling the Washington Post that her planned demonstration on election night could result in “feisty resistance.” MacAuley is a dedicated political organizer and once was part of a group called Disrupt J20 that attempted to interrupt the 2017 Trump Inauguration. She told the website called “Interviews for Resistance” that her group was “an umbrella coalition of groups with a core of local organizers who have a lot of activist experience. Washington, D.C. organizers … most of whom are anarchists. … The idea … is we want to undermine Trump’s presidency from the get-go. There has been a lot of talk of peaceful transition of power as being a core element in a democracy and we want to reject that entirely and really undermine the peaceful transition,” she said in a website titled “Interviews for Resistance.” (One News Now) Read more here.

The Choice of God

The country is so deeply divided. People make all sorts of claims against those who don’t believe or think the way they think they should think or believe. There have been so many prayers and declarations and claims and counterclaims over this presidential election. And I wish I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard “God chooses the leaders” as if we as humans—hear me know--have no dog in the fight. This is fatalistic thinking—truly. God intervenes. God chooses the path of his plan. But when the people wanted a king, what did He give them? When they wanted meat in the wilderness, what did He give them? We as mere humans have responsibility for our destiny in a free will partnership with God.
One of the ways God choses leadership in America—because we do have a choice thanks to the freedom God gave us in forming this great nation—is through the Holy Spirit. People yielding to the Holy Spirit will at least attempt to do the right thing. For example, I read that almost a million more people than in the last presidential election early voted in a one of swing states. They didn’t vote in 2020. But they are driven in 2024. Maybe they were led by the Holy Spirit to do so. This column has said from time to time that it will be an act of God if Donald Trump wins with all that is against him. If this is so, it is because people were motivated to vote. And in the same sense, if Kamala Harris wins, people were motivated to vote. God will not be mocked. God will have his way. But it is through his partnership with humans.
Herein is where the lines between Godly and Godless are drawn. How does one who claims to honor and follow the LORD determine the vote? How does God look upon the issues candidates represent? How does God look upon a candidate that would suppress freedom of religion and the right to talk about it when God commands us to “Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15).” How does God look upon abortion when we see that John the Baptist leapt in the womb when it was said that Mary was with child, the God child (Luke 1:41)? How does God look upon a candidate that supports homosexuality and transgenderism when it is clear in the Word of God that these deviant behaviors are sin—but a candidate doesn’t seek to help people out of sin, but rather encourages others to enter into it.
What does God think of a candidate who supports with billions of dollars a people who terrorize, kill, steal, and destroy God’s chosen (Genesis 12:3)? There are clear lines drawn in this election that separate the candidates. Political parties are vehicles for such issues. Candidates representing parties that advocate against God cannot be separated from their allegiances. Many are torn about how they should vote because they don’t like the language or attitude of one candidate or another. Ask, though, which candidate aligns most with God because if one proclaims God, and represents God as an ambassador here on earth, that person is mocking God by supporting someone who is in word and deed against God. Yes, God chooses our leaders. He will choose through you.

Washington Gov. Jay Inslee has activated members of the National Guard, placing them on standby to support local and state law enforcement in the event of an outbreak of election-related violence.
The “purely precautionary” deployment, as announced by Inslee on Nov. 1, follows warnings from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that the 2024 election cycle could be a “key event for possible violence” and foreign influence targeting election infrastructure. (Read more)

Tropical storm likely to brew in Caribbean,
may reach US
|

AccuWeather meteorologists expect a tropical storm to form in the Caribbean in the next few days, which could then evolve into a hurricane before possibly striking the United States.
The Caribbean Sea has been an area AccuWeather meteorologists have been watching since Oct. 21 for tropical storm formation. Indications continue to point toward a named storm developing within the next couple of days and potentially threatening the United States Gulf Coast late next week to the second weekend of November.
On Saturday afternoon, AccuWeather hurricane experts designated an area in the Caribbean Sea as a tropical rainstorm. This is done to raise awareness and allow residents and visitors in the affected areas ample time to make the necessary preparations.
Waters in the Caribbean remain warm enough to help foster additional organization and strengthening. Disruptive breezes, called wind shear, also remain low in the region. AccuWeather experts are calling for a tropical storm to form by Monday night.
"The brewing tropical storm is expected to make a northeastward turn across Jamaica and Cuba next week, bringing heavy downpours and gusty winds to those islands. It is not out of the question it becomes a hurricane in the Caribbean prior to reaching Jamaica or Cuba," AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Alan Reppert said. Read More
