Hunter Biden Agrees to Testify to Congress

President Joe Biden's son has agreed to testify to Congress, one of his lawyers said on Nov. 28. Hunter Biden will answer questions before the U.S. House of Representatives Oversight Committee, lawyer Abbe Lowell said in a missive to the chairman of the panel. "Our client will get right to it by agreeing to answer any pertinent and relevant question you or your colleagues might have," Mr. Lowell told Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.).

But Mr. Lowell is demanding that the appearance take place in public. "A public proceeding would prevent selective leaks, manipulated transcripts, doctored exhibits, or one-sided press statements," Mr. Lowell wrote.

Mr. Comer issued subpoenas for Mr. Biden, the president's brother James Biden, and others in November as part of the investigation into how involved President Biden was with the family's business schemes.

A subpoena commanded Mr. Biden to appear in Washington on Dec. 13. Mr. Comer said Tuesday that the appearance would happen behind closed doors. “Hunter Biden is trying to play by his own rules instead of following the rules required of everyone else. That won’t stand with House Republicans," Mr. Comer told The Epoch Times via email.

"Our lawfully issued subpoena to Hunter Biden requires him to appear for a deposition on December 13. We expect full cooperation with our subpoena for a deposition but also agree that Hunter Biden should have opportunity to testify in a public setting at a future date," Mr. Comer added.

Defying a subpoena can result in criminal charges. Several Trump administration officials, including Steve Bannon, have been convicted of contempt of Congress for defying subpoenas. (The Epoch Times) Read more here.
- Abba, thank you so much that Hunter Biden is finally going to be required to answer questions concerning money received from the CCP and other countries.   We ask you to release angel armies to stand guard in that room so the enemy cannot enter.  We ask you to bring confusion into Hunter's mind and bring forth truth in his words.  We ask you to pour into his mind, heart and spirit the fear of the Lord, in Jesus' name.  We give you praise, honor and glory for all you are doing to break down the cloak of protection that has been around the Biden family, and for bring truth into the light out of darkness.  We ask this in the name El Roi, the God who Sees.

and he examines all your paths."

White House: IDF op in southern Gaza must be ‘different’ than in north

The White House says it has made clear to the Israeli government that its military campaign in Gaza’s south must differ substantially from its operations in the strip’s north in the opening weeks of its war against Hamas.

A senior administration official, briefing reporters on Tuesday, said U.S. President Joe Biden and others in his government have “reinforced in very clear language with the government of Israel” that the “conduct of the Israeli campaign, when it moves to the south, must be done in a way that is to a maximum extent not designed to produce significant further displacement of persons.”

During its campaign in the north, Israeli officials ordered an evacuation of civilians to the south to limit civilian casualties. Israel is expected, following a ceasefire that will carry through at least Thursday, to begin operating in Gaza’s southern portion, with the Biden administration fearful civilian casualties could explode.

- Abba, our hearts are breaking for your people Israel with all the enemy has done and is still trying to do.  We ask that you will amplify your voice when you speak to Prime Minister Netanyahu and all those involved in defending Israel from Hamas and Hezbollah, drowned out all that is just noise.  We ask that you will silence every voice within Israel and without that does not stand with your plans for your land and people.  Father God, please forgive the US and every other nation trying to manage this conflict, trying to play "god" with the lives of your people.  We ask you to speak to Biden and all those in his regime who speak as if they know what is best for your people..  We ask you to pour out the fear of the Lord into their minds and hearts, give them an understanding of how you see them when they demand Israel follow their direction and not Yours.  We ask this in the name Yahweh-Nissi, The Lord our Banner.   (Banner is understood to be a rallying place. This name commemorates the desert victory over the Amalekites.)

- "Someone's thoughts may be as deep
as the ocean, but if you are
     smart, you will discover them.
   There are many who say,
          "You can trust me!"
              But can they be trusted?
Jesus Christ, our Savior and our Lord. Amen and amen."

Israel said open to weighing further hostage deal once all children and women freed

As the fifth group of 10 freed Israeli hostages made their way back to Israel from Gaza on Tuesday night, Israeli negotiators were in Qatar for discussions on another possible extension to the truce deal that may see more civilian hostages, mainly women and children, released over the coming days. Talks were also reportedly being held on a potential broader framework to see male hostages freed.

The temporary truce, which began Friday, is currently in its fifth day and is slated to extend for a sixth day with 10 more hostages set for release on Wednesday.

Mossad spy agency chief David Barnea was in Doha on Tuesday for talks with CIA director William Burns, Egyptian intelligence chief Abbas Kamel, Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Abdul Rahman al-Thani and other Qatari officials, for expanded discussions on the hostages held by Hamas and other terror factions in Gaza since the October 7 onslaught. (Times of Israel) Read more here.

- Abba, we are so very thankful for every hostage that has been returned to Israel and we ask you to continue bringing your kids home until all have been restored to their families and friends.  Jesus,we ask for great wisdom and supernatural understanding for all who are working to bring this about.  We ask that you reveal hidden motives of anyone who is part of the negotiations.  We ask for changed minds and hearts of all involved.  Father God, we need You to be present at each of the meetings, please guide and direct every word spoken and decision made.

Holy Lord, we are desperate for your hand on these lives, that not even 1 more will die but all will live and come home.  Abba, we cry with and pray for all who have been abused during their captivity, be with them in their darkness and lead them out into your healing light.  We ask you to hold each abuser accountable for their actions, let their hearts cry out in fear as the hearts of those they abused did, let them feel their pain!  We pray for minds, hearts, emotions, and bodies to be healed as You know they need to be healed.  We ask for your Shalom to settle on each one that is home, bring peace and a knowingness that they are finally safe.  We ask this in the name Jehovah Rapha, the God Who Heals.

- "When they call on me, I will answer;
I will be with them in trouble,
I will rescue and honor them."

(Psalm 91:15)
FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Netanyahu: ‘No way’ we will agree to end war against Hamas -JNS

Jerusalem will not give up on its goal to destroy Hamas, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday, amid rumors the terrorist organization offered to release all hostages held in Gaza in exchange for an end to the Israel Defense Forces operation.

“There is no way we are not going back to fight to the end. This is my policy, the entire Cabinet stands behind it, the entire government stands behind it, the soldiers stand behind it, the people stand behind it—this is exactly what we will do,” said Netanyahu.

“From the beginning of the war, I set three goals: the elimination of Hamas, the return of all our hostages, and to ensure that Gaza will never again be a threat to Israel. These three goals remain,” the premier said. (Read more)

2. Twelve Israeli hostages freed after 54 days in Hamas captivity - World Israel News

Hamas on Wednesday evening released another 12 Israeli hostages, 54 days after they were taken to the Gaza Strip during the terror group’s Oct. 7 assault on southwestern Israel.

The hostages were handed over by Hamas terrorists to representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Gaza.

A spokesperson for the Qatari Foreign Ministry said the group included five minors, including one dual Israeli-Dutch citizen, and five minors, including one American and three German nationals.

Two of the 12 Israelis freed on Wednesday were women with dual Russian citizenship, “extra” captives who were released during an earlier handover as a gesture of “appreciation” to President Vladimir Putin. (Read more)

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in a Wednesday post on X stated that "There are numerous accounts of sexual violence during the abhorrent acts of terror by Hamas on October 7 that must be vigorously investigated and prosecuted.

"Gender-based violence must be condemned. Anytime. Anywhere," he continued.

4. President Herzog tours Israel-Egypt border - Israel National News

President Isaac Herzog conducted a tour of the Nitzana Crossing situated on the Israel-Egypt border on Wednesday.

The President first received an overview from the head of the COGAT Civil Department, Col. Elad Goren, along with Col. (Res.) Shay Karmona, and Director of the Nitzana Crossing, David Hazut. They presented the President with a review of the civilian activity and humanitarian aid Israel facilitates through Egypt and the international aid organizations operating in the Gaza Strip as part of the agreement to see hostages released.

The President then visited the security inspection area at the Nitzana Crossing, from where around 200 humanitarian aid trucks are transported daily to the Gaza Strip via the Rafah Crossing, containing water, food, shelter equipment, and medical supplies. (Read more)

5. Anti-Israel Demonstrators Force Families of Israelis Killed, Abducted by Hamas to Evacuate Australia Hotel - Algemeiner

Anti-Israel activists on Wednesday gathered for an angry demonstration outside a hotel in Melbourne, Australia where a delegation of the families of Israelis murdered and abducted by Hamas were staying, forcing them to evacuate and discuss different security arrangements with police.

Several dozen demonstrators gathered to protest at the hotel after learning the Israel delegation was staying there, according to Hebrew media reports. The activists chanted “shame” and “Free Palestine” while holding signs that equated Zionism with fascism.

The Israeli delegation was evacuated from the hotel to the police station, where they discussed security arrangements for the group while in Australia. Meanwhile, the hotel was reportedly searched by both local police and the security team accompanying the delegation. (Read more)

1. Lack of ‘Affirmation’ Is Child Abuse: New Biden Rule Applies Transgender Standard to Foster Care - Daily Signal

A new rule in HHS’ Administration for Children and Families would apply the idea that any lack of “affirmation” constitutes a form of child abuse to foster care placements. Once that idea takes root in foster care, child protective services agencies might start applying it more broadly.

The rule would reinterpret the Social Security Act, which requires agencies to ensure that each child in foster care receives “safe and proper” care. The rule would lay out steps agencies must take to meet that requirement for “LGBTQI+ children,” defined as kids who “identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, as well as children who are non-binary, or have non-conforming gender identity or expression.”

Before agencies place a child with a foster parent, known as a “provider,” that person must “establish an environment free of hostility, mistreatment, or abuse based on the child’s LGBTQI+ status;” receive training “to be prepared with the appropriate knowledge and skills to provide for the needs of the child related to the child’s self-identified sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression;” and must be able to “facilitate the child’s access to age-appropriate resources, services, and activities that support their health and well-being.” (Read more)

- Lord, this proposed rule–and legislation in some states–seeks to hinder Your church from fulfilling your commands to help orphans, children and those in need. Fatjer God, we pray that this policy would be reversed or mended in some way. Give us boldness and wisdom as we stand against such efforts for the sake of these children.

- “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.” (James 1:27)

2. Study: Overturning Roe Led to 32K More Births - Newsmax

A new study finds that since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in June 2022, the United States has seen an increase of approximately 32,000 births in states implementing abortion restrictions. The study, conducted by the Institute of Labor Economics, found that after the Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization decision, "in the first six months of 2023, births rose by an average of 2.3 percent in states enforcing total abortion bans," leading to an estimated 32,000 additional births.

Comparing data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the researchers described the shift in birthrate as the "most profound transformation of the landscape of U.S. abortion access in 50 years."

"As of November 1, 2023," the researchers note, 14 states are enforcing near-total abortion bans, significantly increasing the distance women must travel to access abortion services.
Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America, told Fox News that the study's findings are a "triumph that pro-life policies result in lives saved.” (Read more)

- Lord God, we thank you for this miracle of more lives being born since the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Still, there are millions who refuse to see abortion for what it really is. So we pray for more opportunities to persuasively challenge that mindset with thought provoking questions, biblical truth, and through tangible action. We’ve been given an opportunity to shine the light on darkness; so we pray for the courage to boldly stand for and protect every innocent life.

3. Hamas claims infant hostage, brother and mom all killed, Israel investigates - DML News

The youngest Israeli hostage held by Hamas, his 4-year-old brother and their mom were killed by Israeli bombing on the Gaza Strip, the terror group’s military arm said Wednesday without evidence. Israel said it’s looking into the Al Qassam Brigades Telegram announcement about the deaths of 10-month-old Kfir Bibas, 4-year-old Ariel, and 23-year-old Shiri Silverman-Bibas.

The IDF statement continues:
“IDF representatives spoke with the members of the Bibas family, informed them of the claim, and are accompanying them at this time. The IDF is examining the reliability of the information.
“The responsibility for the safety of all the hostages in the Gaza Strip rests fully with the terrorist organization Hamas. Hamas endangers the hostages, including nine children. Hamas is required to immediately return them to Israel.” (Read more)

4. Internal docs show Biden admin waived taxpayer safeguards to boost offshore wind project - Fox News

The Biden administration quietly granted a request from an energy firm developing an offshore wind project off the coast of Massachusetts to waive development fees designed to safeguard taxpayers, according to internal documents reviewed by Fox News Digital.

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) informed Vineyard Wind that it had waived a financial assurance for decommissioning costs fee in a June 15, 2021, letter obtained by watchdog group Protect the Public's Trust (PPT). Federal statute mandates that developers pay that fee prior to construction on their lease, a potentially hefty fee designed to guarantee federal property is returned to its original state after a lessee departs its lease.

"At the same time the Department of the Interior was looking at forcing greater and more expensive bonding requirements on holders of long-standing oil and gas leases, they were relaxing these requirements on the nation's first utility-scale offshore wind energy producer, one that just coincidentally happened to be a client of their incoming #2," PPT Director Michael Chamberlain told Fox News Digital. - Lord God, we ask for wisdom for the Biden administration, and all those making decisions on behalf of "we the people," especially on how our money is spent. We come against all lies and deceit, to deceive us behind our backs. We pray that the truth would be revealed, and that no secrets would be kept from the American people, in Jesus' name, amen.

5. Biden’s cryptic post about Hamas has critics questioning his true intentions - DML News

President Biden’s apparent call for Israel to stop the war with Hamas invoked several concerns on social media over whether the president is endorsing a total cease-fire. As Israel continues a temporary cease-fire with Hamas to receive hostages, Biden made a post on his personal X account that argued continuing the war would be to “give Hamas what they seek.”

Hamas unleashed a terrorist attack because they fear nothing more than Israelis and Palestinians living side by side in peace. To continue down the path of terror, violence, killing, and war is to give Hamas what they seek. We can’t do that,” Biden wrote.

Biden’s strange post is being slammed on social media. Jeremy Redfern, press secretary for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, wrote, “This statement is a giant lie. A large majority of Palestinians in Gaza support the October 7th terrorist attacks, and they don’t want a two-state solution. They don’t want Israel to exist. When Palestinians say “from the river to the sea…” we should believe them.” (Read more)

- Lord God, we cover these words in the blood of Jesus and come against all propaganda to try to manipulate and control public opinion, and manipulate the way Israel stands up for themselves. We lift up our government to you, Lord, that they would stand by Israel, and not take advantage of them. We pray for Israel, Lord God, that you will continue to give them wisdom, discernment, guidance, protection, and everything else they need to properly protect themselves and their nation. In Jesus' name, amen.

- “…and that in this matter no one should wrong or take advantage of a brother or sister. The Lord will punish all those who commit such sins, as we told you and warned you before.” (1 Thessalonians 4:6)

6. Kim Jong-un Claims North Korean Satellite Is Spying on White House - Breitbart

The communist propaganda outlet of North Korea claimed on Tuesday that an alleged surveillance satellite launched on November 21 had already taken photos of several sensitive American military sites and the White House.

The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), the flagship media network of the communist North Korean regime, reported that dictator Kim Jong-un spent much of his day on Tuesday perusing a report on the “Malligyong-1” surveillance satellite, whose launch prompted stern condemnations from South Korea, America, and the United Nations. The satellite reportedly took photos of several sites in the United States and abroad.

Kim Jong-un, according to North Korean state media, declared shortly after the launch that he had plans for “many more reconnaissances satellites” to “closely monitor and grasp the nature … of the U.S. imperialists” (Read more)

7. Dem-run city expands asylum assistance to migrants amid stinging budget cuts due to raging crisis - Fox News

New York City is expanding assistance to asylum seekers to help them complete applications for asylum, work authorization, and other programs — as the city continues to grapple with a migrant crisis that has led to massive budget cuts.

Mayor Eric Adams announced the expansion of the Asylum Application Help Center — which allows illegal immigrants to apply for asylum, Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and work authorization if eligible. The city will open two satellite sites to assist with applications, the city announced. It will use state funding to provide the sites. Migrants can arrange one-on-one appointments at help centers, where trained staff will provide "individualized support" based on their needs, the city said.

The city has been dealing with a migrant crisis that Adams has warned could "destroy" the city. The more than 140,000 migrants the city has seen since last year represent only a fraction of the millions who have been encountered at the border since the crisis began in 2021, but it has overwhelmed the sanctuary city’s social services — with officials demanding more help from the federal government. (Read more)

- Lord God, we cover New York City in the precious blood of Jesus. This makes no sense that they would talk about their migrant crisis and then further their crisis with this decision. We just lift up all of the citizens in New York City who are suffering due to the irresponsibility of their local government, that you would bring them comfort and supernatural answers to their growing issues. We pray in new leadership that the state would be a turned around for your glory, in Jesus' name, amen.

- “You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.” (Genesis 50:20)

 8. US Intel Officials Worry Little-Known Tech Firm Could Hand Americans’ Genetic Data To China - The Daily Caller

United States intelligence officials are fearful that an Abu Dhabi technology firm could hand over Americans’ genetic data to China, The New York Times reported on Monday.

The company, called G42, engages in business with Chinese companies, according to the NYT. It may function as a bridge for China’s government to access cutting-edge U.S. tech and millions of Americans’ genetic data, two officials with knowledge of intelligence reports told the NYT.

G42 consists of various ventures, including a $10 billion tech investment fund, an Arabic artificial intelligence (AI) model and a genome-sequencing initiative, according to the NYT. Its international investments include acquiring over $100 million worth of shares in ByteDance, the Beijing-based TikTok parent company, Bloomberg reported. (Read more)

- We eliminate these plans with the blood of Jesus to mess with the DNA and genetic signature of every American citizen to potentially create bio weapons that may seek to harm and destroy your creation, Lord God. We pray that every one of these companies would be held accountable and be required to reveal everything that they are doing with AI and DNA. We come against all evil agendas that would seek to harm Americans and the human race and pull it down in Jesus' name, amen.

- “The LORD frustrates the plans of the nations and thwarts all their schemes.” (Psalm 33:10)

Stupidocrisy: Biden’s Thanksgiving Without God

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, November 29, 2023

Joe Biden is exactly the type of politician and leader that this country doesn’t need and shouldn’t have. Despite destroying an excellent economy. Despite allowing an invasion across our borders of who knows what. Despite specific actions that has caused groceries and gasoline prices to soar to record levels of inflation. Despite paying lip service to Israel while sending billions to terrorists like Hamas, Iran, and the Palestinian Authority. Despite supporting, even promoting, the killing of the unborn. Despite characterizing patriotic Americans as extremists because they disagree with his horrible policies. This so-called leader of the free world denies the supreme power in declaring a day of Thanksgiving in America.

In his Thanksgiving Proclamation, Biden mentions God once—when he says the date: “twenty-second day of November, in the year of our Lord two thousand twenty-three.” Yes, he says we should “be grateful for all the blessings of this Nation and its limitless possibilities.” He said the Pilgrims celebrated Thanksgiving in “honor of their first successful harvest and the support and generosity of the Wampanoag people who made it possible.” Joe, the Pilgrims were not celebrating in honor of the Native Americans. Their feast was in thanksgiving “by the goodness of God,” as Pilgrim father Edward Winslow writes in “Mourt’s Relation,” the only account of the first Thanksgiving, celebrated over three days after the harvest with “many of the Indians coming amongst us.” Joe, either you don’t know history or you’re lying about it—or both. A "Holiday Tree" or a "Christmas Tree" on the Grounds of the White House Ellipse?
A crane attempts to "rescue" the White House Christmas tree on the afternoon of Tuesday, November 27th, after it was toppled by high winds in Washington, D.C.
Editor's note:

Every year since 1923, the White House has erected a national Christmas tree on its land on the Elllpse, south of the building. Then, just after Thanksgiving, the President hosts a national "tree lighting ceremony", ushering in the
Christmas season for the country.

Sadly, however, this year's effort has run into two major problems, as noted below.

In addition, our friends downtown who are "boots on the ground" have reported that, at first, this tree was to be called a "Holiday Tree". We now understand that, in anticipation of this year's National Lighting later today, this year's tree WILL be called a CHRISTMAS TREE - not a "holiday tree!"

Please read on to learn "the rest of the news" about the warfare that the White House has encountered as it has attempted to erect a "holiday tree" on its property and thank you all for joining us in prayer, rejoicing that this tree will now be named in honor of the birth of our Messiah. AMEN.
(Act One - Wednesday, November 15th)

The White House Christmas tree developed a fungal disease. A West Virginia spruce is here to save the day

The National Park Service collaborated with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service for the first time to find a 40-foot Norway spruce from Monongahela National Forest in West Virginia to decorate President’s Park.

“It arrived this morning and it was placed around 7:30 in the morning so it hasn’t been decorated yet,” National Park Service spokeswoman Chelsea Sullivan said. “We’re doing that between now and the event on Nov. 30.”

The park service decided to break tradition after last year’s tree, planted on Oct. 30, 2021, was removed on Nov. 11 after developing a fungal disease. The new tree has been cut down and placed in the park, instead of planting a new tree. (WTOP News) Read more here.

(Act Two: Tuesday, November 28th)

The National Christmas Tree in D.C. near the White House is once again upright after strong winds toppled it Tuesday afternoon.

The tree fell over around 1 p.m. during a strong wind gust, the National Park Service said.

“After assessing the tree’s condition and replacing a snapped cable, the tree is now upright as of 6 p.m.,” a National Park Service spokesman said in statement.

Local news cameras captured crews using a crane to lift the fallen tree and bring it back to an upright position. And while the tree is once again up and illuminated, it will require some rearrangements for Thursday’s official lighting, said WTOP’s Dick Uliano, who reported from the Ellipse.

Northwest winds ushered in a cold snap Tuesday, with winds between 10 to 20 mph and gusts of up to 35 mph. Tuesday recorded wind gusts of between 30 to 40 mph, which 7News First Alert meteorologist Mark Pena said was certainly enough to tip over the tree. (WTOP News) Read more here.

- Father God, we thank You that, finally, a tree has been found that WILL stand, tall and firm, in these severe conditions. We thank You, too, that our local sources have confirmed that, while the White House had originally referred to the tree as a "holiday tree" (honoring any "god" you choose), the administration has finally given up and decided to refer to THIS tree as a "Christmas tree" - honoring the birth of our Savior.

And so now, just as the false god Dagon fell before the presence of the Lord in the time of King David, this "false god," too, has yielded to the One True King - Jesus Christ, our Savior and our Lord. Amen and amen.

-
"Then the Philistines took the ark of God and brought it from Ebenezer to Ashdod. When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon and set it by Dagon.  And when the people of Ashdod arose early in the morning, there was Dagon, fallen on its face to the earth before the ark of the Lord. So they took Dagon and set it in its place again. And when they arose early the next morning, there was Dagon, fallen on its face to the ground before the ark of the Lord. The head of Dagon and both the palms of its hands were broken off on the threshold; only Dagon’s torso was left of it. Therefore neither the priests of Dagon nor any who come into Dagon’s house tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod to this day." (I Samuel 5:2-5)

And Now . . . Lion of Judah: ROAR!!!!

He shall prevail against His enemies."

Archaeologists used Google Earth to help find 3,000 square miles of prehistoric settlements from a
new-found civilization in Central Europe
  • A new study found evidence of a previously unknown network of societies living in Central Europe in the Late Bronze Age.
  • Researchers used satellite images from Google Earth to find 100 new prehistoric sites.
  • The ancient society was less centrally located and less hierarchical than its predecessor.

Archeologists have discovered evidence of a previously unknown prehistoric civilization spanning 3,000 square miles across Central Europe. And Google Earth helped them do it.

"When we recognized how dense this settlement network was, we realized this was something really important and new for understanding how Bronze Age societies were organized in Europe," Barry Molloy, an associate professor of archaeology at University College Dublin, told Business Insider via email.

Experts have long believed that an advanced civilization that thrived in Central Europe during the Early and Middle Bronze Age, beginning in 2200 BCE, was abandoned by 1600 BCE. Read More

US Faith-Based Groups Aim to Save 'Israel's Breadbasket' at Risk Since Terrorist Invasion
A coalition of faith-based organizations has announced it is adopting an Israeli community as its sister city in a bid to rescue and restore "Israel's breadbasket" – a vital agricultural region between Gaza and the Negev Desert that accounts for over 60% of Israel's agricultural produce. Known as Ein Habesor, this region is referenced in the Bible in 1 Samuel 30 as "the brook of Bezor," where the future King David and his warriors briefly rested and regrouped before routing their ancient foes the Amalekites. Due to the violent upheaval and deadly danger caused by Hamas in the region, the crops there are at serious risk. "Right now Israel's vital produce is just rotting on the vine, and if we don't turn things around soon it could become economically devastating for the whole region," Todd Lamphere, vice president of Governmental Relations for CityServe International said in a press release.

CityServe is a nonprofit collaborative network of churches known for providing disaster relief both domestically and across the globe. Lamphere has just returned from a fact-finding mission to Ein Habesor on behalf of CityServe and the other three coalition partners that are adopting the remote village. The other partners include the National Faith Advisory Board, Intercessors for America, and Paula White Ministries. "We're going to do whatever it takes to get our new sister city Ein Habesor back up and running again," Lamphere added. "Arabs and Jews alike depend on that fresh produce. This great need transcends nationality, religion, and a host of complexities in the region." - Abba, we give You praise for the Body of Christ having opportunity to serve the needs of Israel. We ask for Your double-portion of blessings to be poured-out among the networks of ministries that are sharing the task of harvesting crops in the Land of Israel. We ask in the Name of Jesus for multiplication, timely harvesting and abundant provision of fresh food for the region during this time of war. May there be miraculous testimonies of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob supplying all their needs! We give You all the Glory, Jehovah Jireh!- In Jesus Name-Amen

Thought for the Day
"For You are my rock and my fortress;
Therefore, for Your name’s sake,
Lead me and guide me."

(Psalm 31:3)
A Special Message
The Sinner's Prayer
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."

Scripture: He’s calling you! Mark 10:49

Lyrics:
Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling,
Calling for you and for me;
See, on the portals He’s waiting and watching,
Watching for you and for me.

Refrain
Come home, come home,
You who are weary, come home;
Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling,
Calling, O sinner, come home!

Why should we tarry when Jesus is pleading,
Pleading for you and for me?
Why should we linger and heed not His mercies,
Mercies for you and for me?

Refrain

Time is now fleeting, the moments are passing,
Passing from you and from me;
Shadows are gathering, deathbeds are coming,
Coming for you and for me.

Refrain

O for the wonderful love He has promised,
Promised for you and for me!
Though we have sinned, He has mercy and pardon,
Pardon for you and for me.
