TODAY'S TOP STORY

The Heart Behind Mississippi's Abortion Law

As Mississippi Governor from 2012 to 2020, Phil Bryant knocked off key social ills. Rates for unemployment, high school dropouts and teen pregnancies hit record lows during his tenure. But what he really wanted to stop was abortion.

In an interview with IFA’s Dave Kubal, Bryant shared: “The number one issue— the first thing we all do as governors or anyone in public life— is public safety. To protect the lives of our citizens. These (pre-born children) are citizens. And they deserve due process. They deserve the constitutional rights of every citizen of the United States. They are children of God and we must lay down our lives, if necessary, to protect them.”

Hope to do this came with the heartbeat bill and the science of the sonogram. “At about fifteen weeks, you can detect…that heartbeat, the brain is beginning to mature. Life clearly exists,” Bryant said. “So it was a viability question. Is that child viable? Is it a human life? And if it is a human life, does the state of Mississippi have a right to protect it? We said it does and we are going to fight it all the way to the Supreme Court.”

This case—Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health—aims directly at Roe v. Wade. Bryant said, “Our 10th amendment said all of those laws that are not prohibited—powers that are not specifically given to the federal government—are those of the states. We believe this is a states’ rights issue.”

Bryant is no stranger to the court system. He was sued over the state flag, religious freedoms, even the state budget. “And all of the cases went to the same judge. Remarkably the same Obama-appointed judge got every case in which I was sued,” Bryant said.

But things went differently with the lawsuit over the heartbeat bill. “It went to the Fifth Circuit and the Fifth Circuit said, ‘We’re trying to deliberate as to whether or not we will hear it,’’ Bryant said. “And the United States Supreme Court said, ‘We are going to hear it. We’re going to pull that out and bring it before the United States Supreme Court. Remarkable that this is happening at this time.” (Source: Intercessors for America)

Father God, thank You for pro-life heroes like Governor Phil Bryant. We pray that the Mississippi law would stand and would be used by You to end the terrible precedent of Roe v. Wade. (From IFA)

Yes Lord, we cry out for justice, life, Constitutional protections for these most vulnerable citizens of our land.  You are the Mighty One, You are the Author and Finisher of all things -- Father, we beseech You to cause our intercession to be with wisdom and discernment.  We ask also that You turn the hearts of the Supreme Court and people of this land to Life.  Let this case be so hard fought beforehand that at this point, You only need to say the word and it is done.  In Jesus name and for Your glory! Amen.

- "The Lord thundered from heaven, And the Most High uttered His voice, Hailstones and coals of fire.  He sent out His arrows and scattered the foe, Lightnings in abundance, and He vanquished them."  (Psalm 18:13-14)

1. For 2nd Time in Days, IDF Foils Weapons Smuggling from Jordan - Jewish Press

Israel’s combined security forces were successful in thwarting an attempt to smuggle guns from Jordan to Israel on Monday night, the second such incident in less than a week.

The IDF stated that its forces identified two suspects who tried to smuggle weapons into Israeli territory in the area of the Jordan Valley.

IDF troops and police officers operating in the area arrested the two suspects and seized 11 different weapons, including eight handguns, two Kalashnikov assault rifles, and an M-16. (Read more)

2. Police arrest 9 Arabs, confiscate millions in money laundering bust - World Israel News

Police forces who raided the Arab town of Kafr Manda in northern Israel on Tuesday morning arrested nine suspects and confiscated millions in an operation to take down a money-laundering ring.

Over the past months, the police’s Lahav 433 economic division has conducted an undercover investigation, on suspicion of tax offenses committed by the ring amounting to tens of millions of shekels through the distribution of fictitious invoices and straw companies.

With the move to an open investigation, police and other Israeli tax and finance officials raided on Tuesday morning 14 homes and businesses of the suspects to make arrests and conduct searches. (Read more)

3. In first official comment, Turkish minister accuses Israeli couple of political-military espionage - Israel Hayom

Five days after the detention of two Israeli tourists for allegedly taking unauthorized photos of the presidential residence in Istanbul, Turkey made its first official comment on Tuesday.

Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu spoke on the incident during a press conference, saying that the two were taken into custody because "they not only focused on the palace but also market it."

The two Israelis, Natalie and Mordy Oknin, were arrested while taking photos at the observation deck of the Camlica radio and television tower on the Asian side of Istanbul last week. They were placed on remand for 20 days and on Sunday, they were granted access to Israeli consular officials and to their Israeli lawyer. (Read more)

4. Israel’s next-gen robots could replace ground troops on front lines - Jerusalem Post

“If you want to send robots where you don’t want to send soldiers, you need a solution for that,” said Elad Levy, CEO and founder of Roboteam.
His company, together with Elbit Systems, on Tuesday, announced the debut of what they are calling “the mothership of unmanned vehicles”: ROOK, a multi-payload military 6x6 Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV).

The UGV’s innovative design and built-in autonomy suite offers improved capacity, maneuverability and agility from its previous models, creating “a human machine” that is “really part of the team,” said Yoav Poizner, the senior director of Elbit C4I and Cyber.
He said the ROOK is the next step toward enabling “everything that happens in the sky” through use of drones and aerial robots to occur on the ground and in the field where soldiers need it, too. (Read more)

5. Israel’s Archaeologists Unearth Evidence of Hanukkah Stories - Algemeiner

i24 News – A fortress from the Hellenistic period, destroyed and set on fire by the Hasmonean rebels, was unearthed during excavations carried out by the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA).

The ruins were discovered in Israel’s Lachish Forest, located in the southern part of the country, broadcaster Kan reported.

“The excavation site provides tangible evidence of the Hanukkah stories,” Saar Ganor, Vladik Lifshits and Ahinoam Montagu, excavation directors representing the IAA, explained, according to the Jerusalem Post.

“It appears that we have discovered a building that was part of a fortified line erected by the Hellenistic army commanders to protect the large Hellenistic city of Maresha from a Hasmonean offensive,” the specialists said, according to Israel National News. (Read more)

1. Taliban hold military parade with U.S.-made weapons in Kabul in show of strength - Reuters

Taliban forces held a military parade in Kabul on Sunday using captured American-made armoured vehicles and Russian helicopters in a display that showed their ongoing transformation from an insurgent force to a regular standing army. The Taliban operated as insurgent fighters for two decades but have used the large stock of weapons and equipment left behind when the former Western-backed government collapsed in August to overhaul their forces.

The parade was linked to the graduation of 250 freshly trained soldiers, defence ministry spokesman Enayatullah Khwarazmi said.
The exercise involved dozens of U.S.-made M117 armoured security vehicles driving slowly up and down a major Kabul road with MI-17 helicopters patrolling overhead. Many soldiers carried American made-M4 assault rifles.

Most of the weapons and equipment the Taliban forces are now using are those supplied by Washington to the American-backed government in Kabul in a bid to construct an Afghan national force capable of fighting the Taliban. (Read more)
- Dear Lord, it is hard to hear of this flaunting of equipment that formerly belonged to the United States.  We pray that this equipment will never work as intended and that parts will never be available for repair when necessary.  We pray that the weaponry will malfunction in all they try to do to subjugate the people around them. Father, we pray that the Taliban will experience a decline in recruits because of their evil intentions and that seeds of the Gospel planted there will spring up instead.

- "Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity."       (Ps. 37:1)

2. Former Obama Cabinet member praises Austria's decision to lock down unvaccinated - Fox News

Former Secretary of Education Arne Duncan took to Twitter Monday to praise Austria’s controversial decision to lock down unvaccinated citizens due to an uptick in COVID-19 cases, raising questions on whether a similar policy could be embraced by other countries.

The Obama administration official retweeted a report on Austria’s nationwide lockdown for those who are unvaccinated and have not recently contracted the virus. The Associated Press called the move "the most drastic of a string of measures" by European countries to counter the fourth wave.

Officials in the country say police patrols and checks will be stepped up and unvaccinated people can be fined up to $1,660 if they violate the lockdown. The lockdown impacts about 2 million Austrians. Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg said his aim is to increase the number of those who take the jab. (Read more)

- We strongly come against this tyrannical thinking that only produces bondage and control of people and ignores the science involved in the spread of this virus.  We pray for individuals, institutions, businesses, and other organizations to come against this kind of treatment of the population of a whole country.  We ask You, oh Lord, to bring an end to this deadly virus so that this demonic control will lose its reason to exist.  We pray for the citizens of Austria to raise up a chorus of prayer to be loosed from this bondage.

- "And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;"  (Exodus 3:7)

3. New Hampshire high school student sues district and principal after he was suspended for saying 'there are only two genders' - Daily Mail

A New Hampshire student-athlete and his mother are suing the school district after he was suspended from a football game for expressing his view that there are 'only two genders.' The freshman student - only identified as M.P. in court documents - was discussing the difficulty of addressing a non-binary person in Spanish with his friends on the school bus when another student interjected to argue when M.P. replied, 'There are only genders.'

After the short discussion on the bus, the students engaged in a debate over gender and sexuality in text messages. Those messages were turned into school administrators who suspended M.P. for 'not respecting pronouns.'

The lawsuit filed on November 4 in Rockingham Superior Court, and obtained by DailyMail.com, said that the one-game suspension of the student in September was in violation of the student's constitutional right to free speech and the New Hampshire Bill of Rights because he expressed his religious Catholic beliefs. (Read more)

- Father God, we thank You for this young man who is adhering to his faith in proclaiming the truth that adults in the school district will not admit to.  We speak success to this lawsuit and pray that it will be an example to other education agencies that this political correctness will never be accepted as "fact."  We pray for more students and parents to arise to resist this deception of the enemy and free our country of lies being taught to our children.

"Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,"  (Romans 1:22)

4. Wyoming GOP votes to no longer recognize Cheney as a Republican - The Hill

The Wyoming Republican Party voted on Saturday to no longer recognize Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) as a member of the GOP.
The state party central committee's 31-29 vote followed similar votes by Republican officials in roughly one-third of Wyoming’s 23 counties, The Associated Press reported.

It’s laughable to suggest Liz is anything but a committed conservative Republican. She is bound by her oath to the Constitution. Sadly, a portion of the Wyoming GOP leadership has abandoned that fundamental principle, and instead allowed themselves to be held hostage to the lies of a dangerous and irrational man," Jeremy Adler, a Cheney spokesman, said in a statement to The Hill on Monday.

The vote marks the Wyoming Republican Party's second rebuke of Cheney following her vote to impeach former President Trump for his role in the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. In February, the same committee voted to censure Cheney. (Read more)

- Father, we thank You that some Wyoming Republicans were willing to stand up and be counted on behalf of the citizens.  We ask that there would be conservative, honorable, and God-fearing people running to replace Representative Cheney in Congress and that they would honor the Constitution.  We ask that You draw her to Yourself so that she would walk in repentance.

- "Exalt the Lord our God, And worship at His footstool -- He is holy."  (Psalm 99:5)

5. Trump Adviser Steve Bannon Surrenders to FBI, Later Released on Own Recognizance - The Epoch Times

Former President Donald Trump adviser Steven Bannon surrendered to federal agents on charges of contempt of Congress on Nov. 15. The arraignment for Bannon on contempt to Congress charges was postponed until Nov. 18. He was released on his own recognizance ahead of the next hearing.

For the time being, Bannon will have to live at his stated address, surrender his U.S. passport, not travel outside the District of Columbia without notifying the court, and submit to other court-ordered requirements.
Bannon was mobbed by members of the media as he surrendered to federal officials at an FBI field office in Washington, D.C.

“We’re taking down the Biden regime,” he told reporters on the scene. “I want you guys to stay focused, stay on message. Remember signal, not noise. “I don’t want anybody to take your eye off the ball of what we do every day.” (Read more)

- Father God, we pray that this type of shocking event serves to wake up the people of this nation.  We have witnessed countless subpoenas be disregarded by the highest levels of government over the last two to three decades without consequences.  This is a jolt of reality that demands attention and we ask You to guide us with wisdom and discernment in prayer, through these days of challenge.

- "Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, 'Son of David, have mercy on me!'"  (Mark 10:48)

6. Biden Signs $1.2 Trillion Infrastructure Bill in Bipartisan Ceremony - The Epoch Times

President Joe Biden signed the $1.2 trillion Infrastructure and Jobs Act on Nov. 15, marking an important victory for the president following months of quarrels among House and Senate Democrats.

Biden signed the bill in front of the White House, while flanked by members of both parties, in an effort to portray the bill to the American people as a bipartisan effort.
“For too long, we’ve talked about having the best economy in the world,” Biden said during the signing ceremony. “We’ve talked about asserting American leadership in the world with the best and safest roads, railways, ports, and airports.”

“Here in Washington, we’ve heard countless speeches, promises, and white papers from the experts. But today, we are finally getting it done. And my message to the American people is: America is moving again. And your life is going to change for the better.” (Read more)

- Father, we thank you that this travesty will ultimately result in more and more people of this nation recognizing the empty, false promises of this administration. We pray for a collapse of this legislation under its own weight and we pray for a stop to potential economic destruction and control over our Constitutional freedoms and liberties.

- "And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one's work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear;"         (1 Peter 1:17)

7. Boris Johnson Refuses to Rule Out Christmas Lockdown Amid ‘Storm of Infection’ in Europe - Brietbart

In a press conference from Downing Street on Monday, Mr Johnson warned that there are “storm clouds” of rising coronavirus infections in Europe. “A new wave of coronavirus is steadily sweeping through central Europe and is now affecting our nearest neighbours in Western Europe,” he said per i News.

“We cannot rule anything out and the most important thing people can do to prevent NPIs (non-pharmaceutical interventions) from being needed is to get the boosters.”

Mr Johnson echoed the veiled threats put forward by government ministers, that lockdown restrictions could be put back into effect if those eligible for the booster shot vaccines — which now includes everyone over the age of forty — do not take their shot. (Read more)

- Oh Lord God, would You compel these governmental authorities to recognize scientific research and evidence from around the world, regarding this virus, please.  These lockdowns are evil and cruel and we bind this tyranny in Jesus name.  Father, loose angels carrying scrolls of truth into this earth so that Your revelation and light would be released and the horrific demands upon citizens would be brought under Your control.

- "O Lord, my strength and my fortress, My refuge in the day of affliction, The Gentiles shall come to You From the ends of the earth and say, 'Surely our fathers have inherited lies, Worthlessness and unprofitable things.'"  (Jeremiah 16:19)

 8. California Rep. Speier becomes ninth House Democrat to announce retire ahead of midterms - Just The News

California Democratic Rep. Jackie Speier said Tuesday that she will not seek reelection in 2022, as her political party's effort to keep the House majority appear increasingly challenging. “Today, I’m announcing that I will not be a candidate for reelection to Congress in 2022," Speier said in a video. "It's time for me to come home, time for me to be more than a weekend wife, mother and friend."

Speier career in elected office began 1980 with winning a seat on the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors. She also served in California's state legislature before entering the House in 2008, according to The Hill newspaper.

In 1978, while she was serving as an aide to the late-Rep. Leo Ryan, a fellow California Democrat, Speier survived being shot five times during a fact-finding mission to Jonestown in Guyana. Ryan was killed during that trip, The Hill also reports. (Read more)

- We ask You, Lord, to continue to prepare those people You have picked to fill the nine seats [or more!], vacated by Democrats, in Congress in 2022. May Your chosen find victory at the polls, and may citizens find righteousness in the city gates! May the nine retiring find new life in You and be used to further Your kingdom.

- Then I said to them, “You see the bad situation we are in, that Jerusalem [Washington D.C.] is desolate and its gates have been burned by fire. Come, let’s rebuild the wall of Jerusalem [Washington, D.C.] so that we will no longer be a disgrace.” (Nehemiah 2:17)
9. Nearly 100 children near DC receive incorrect dose of vaccine at clinic - The Hill

Officials in Maryland's Montgomery County confirmed on Monday that 98 students received an incorrect dose of the COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine. The incident occurred on Nov. 10. at South Lakes Elementary in Gaithersburg, Md., where affected students received doses of the Pfizer vaccine that were diluted "more than recommended," the county said in a statement.

The county also said the staff person at the school clinic realized their mistake and notified officials. The statement said that both Maryland Department of Health and Pfizer were consulted, and recommended that the children receive an additional dose "as soon as possible." The school will hold an additional clinic on Nov. 17 for the affected children to get an additional dose.

“We apologize for the error, and we are offering another opportunity for the children to be revaccinated,” the acting county health officer, Dr. James Bridgers, said in a statement.  “We are confident that this is an isolated situation and staff have already received additional training on reconstituting and administering pediatric doses,” he added. (Read more)

Lord, we are heartsick at this news. Supernaturally heal and protect these children, causing the “incorrect dose” to have no effect. Please speak wisdom and truth to their parents regarding any more “vaccine” doses. While Dr. Bridgers is confident that this is an isolated situation, we are not and know of high numbers of deaths and various complications from the jab; plus, we have no idea, medically, what lies ahead for those who have received the concoction. Have mercy, Lord; spare our children. May the truth be shouted from the housetops, hills and all media outlets; and may all “vaccine” mandates be canceled. In Jesus name, Amen!

- "So do not fear them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.  What I tell you in the darkness, tell in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim on the housetops."                     (Matthew 10:26-27)

10. Xi calls Biden 'my old friend' after US president had insisted they were not close - Fox News

China’s President Xi Jinping referred to President Biden as his "old friend" ahead of a highly anticipated virtual summit meeting Monday evening that did not produce any major breakthroughs.

Xi’s choice of words to describe his relationship with Biden contradicted the way both the president and White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki have characterized their relationship. Biden has touted his rapport with Xi as an advantage during increasingly fraught diplomatic dealings between the US and China, even as he has disputed the idea they are friends.

"It’s the first time for us to meet virtually. Although it’s not as good as a face-to-face meeting, I’m very happy to see my old friend," Xi said through a translator at the start of the meeting. (Read more)

- Father God, given the identity of the one who thinks he is the president of the United States, we are grateful to learn that nothing really came out of this meeting, lest a major strategic error occur. Thank You, Lord, for covering this virtual summit, in Your name, amen.

Don't Be Gaslit By Biden's False Mandate

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, November 16, 2021

The Biden White House is purposely telling companies to defy the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals stay of the Administration’s COVID 19 mandate. This is a calculated political move of which no business or individual should comply. Here’s how it works: The Biden Administration knows that it is unlawful for the federal government to force a national mandate. But, It is threatening fines and legal action against non-compliance instilling fear into those who would dissent. Biden knows that the courts will take a long time to decide the issue because his Administration will keep stalling the courts. By the time the issue is settled, employees will have been forced to vaccinate or lose their jobs. Biden wins. Vaccinations are irrevocable.

The longer courts take to decide the Biden mandate’s legality, the more time Biden buys to bully companies and citizens into taking the vaccination. That’s why Americans, vaccinated or not, should stand against this tyrannical power grab. The 5th Circuit has laid out tremendous arguments as to why this mandate is illegal. Here are some of them taken from the three-judge panel’s decision: 1) OSHA was never intended to make sweeping pronouncements on matters of public health affecting every member of society in the profoundness of ways; 2) The mandate is both overinclusive by applying it to all employees and workplaces, and underinclusive while applying it to save employees with 99 or more coworkers from a grave danger in the workplace, while making no attempt to shield employees with 98 or fewer coworkers;

3) The underinclusive nature of the Mandate implies that the Mandate’s true purpose is not to enhance workplace safety, but instead to ramp up vaccine uptake by any means necessary. 4) underinclusiveness of this sort is often regarded as a telltale sign that the government’s interest in enacting a liberty-restraining pronouncement is not in fact “compelling.”; 5) The mandate’s stated impetus—a purported “emergency” that the entire globe has now endured for nearly two years, and which OSHA itself spent nearly two months responding to—is unavailing as well; 6) The promulgation grossly exceeds OSHA’s statutory authority; 7) the Mandate fails to consider what is perhaps the most salient fact of all: the ongoing threat of COVID-19 is more dangerous to some employees than to other employees. Israel Stands Alone - US Fails To Support In UN Vote
The United States voted last week to abstain on a resolution concerning the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), the U.N.'s agency that handles Palestinian refugees--part of several resolutions put forth in the U.N. General Assembly concerning the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that largely targeted Israel for its treatment of Palestinians.

The text, called "Assistance to Palestinian Refugees," demands "compensation" for descendants of Palestinian refugees who lost property when they fled their homes, as well as an unlimited "right of return" for Palestinian refugees to a sovereign Israel.

Israel was the sole country that opposed the text, which passed the General Assembly on Nov. 9 with a vote of 160-1, including nine abstentions from the United States, Canada, Cameroon, the Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Papa New Guinea and Uruguay. (JNS.org) (Read more here)

- Father God, we are grieved at this report. Lord God, Holy One, please receive the prayers of Your saints in America, who continually stand by Israel in prayer. Let not the blindness of the wicked bring a judgment upon us, O Lord. We stand in the gap for America, even as we lift up Israel before You. In Your name we pray, amen and amen.

- "Let the priests, who minister to the LORD, Weep between the porch and the altar; Let them say, “Spare Your people, O LORD, And do not give Your heritage to reproach, That the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’ ” (Joel 2:17)
'I'm Against Government Intrusion': How an Ordinary Truck Driver Defeated New Jersey's Top State Senate Democrat

Edward Durr will be the first to tell you he is a simple man, living a simple life as a truck driver. That changed, however, earlier this month, because he and other voters in New Jersey got tired of politics as usual. So Durr took on Steve Sweeney, the state legislature's top Democrat, and won. Now he's headed for a seat in the New Jersey Senate.

"I think they've woken up because the people sent a clear message that they're tired of being pushed around," Durr tells CBN News. "I was just fortunate enough to be the person, so to speak, the tip of the spear."

He pulled off the miracle with limited resources. Incredibly, he spent less than $200 in the primary, half of it on Dunkin' Donuts. Overall, he spent a paltry $5,000 or so.

"I think I showed him that you don't have to be a millionaire to run for office," says Durr. "If you just get out and do the work and get a good amount of people behind you and support you and believe in you, things can change."

Even former President Trump reached out after Durr's big victory telling him, "If there's anything I can do for you, you let me know ok?" Durr matter-of-factly responded in kind. "Thank you very much, sir, and you know you can call me at any time."

So how did Durr do it? A bad economy helped, but the truck-driving candidate really capitalized on what voters saw as government overreach. It became an issue of liberty.

"Certain businesses are forcing people to wear masks where certain stores you can go in and out," Durr says. "I'm against government intrusion in anybody's personal life. That's where I stand."  (CBN) Read more.

Washington State Hit by Dangerous Storms
In dramatic rescue, Coast Guard airlifts travelers from floodwaters
Numerous rescues were reported due to flooding in Washington Monday, as a fierce storm fueled by an atmospheric river caused rivers to swell to record levels, mudslides to block roads and high winds to leave tens of thousands without power.

Major flooding and mudslides prompted a state of emergency declaration to be issued for parts of Washington state Monday as heavy rain caused by an atmospheric river of moisture over the Pacific continued to torment the Northwest and parts of British Columbia, Canada.

Washington Gov. Jay Inslee issued the severe weather proclamation for 14 counties Monday thanks to the ongoing stormy pattern that has resulted in record flooding on several major rivers in the state. Some areas had received nearly 10 inches of rain over a 48-hour period as of late Monday night.

The United States Coast Guard shared a video showing a harrowing rescue by helicopter of six adults and four children, including one baby, near the town of Forks, Washington.

“The severe storm with floods, landslides, mudslides and the potential for straight-line winds is causing road closures, the need to establish alternate transportation routes, evacuations, impacts to local utility services, including significant power outages, localized reductions in available drinking water, and damage to homes and other public and private property and infrastructure,” Inslee’s office said in a statement. (Accuweather.com)

- Father God, we pray for protection for those in the State of Washington and in British Columbia in Canada from further damage from these storms. We ask, too, for quick restoration of power and a return to normal life as soon as possible for all who have been impacted by these storms, and for grace in the time of waiting. In Your Name, amen and amen.

- "But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)

Astronauts shelter in space capsules as debris
comes close to space station

Nov. 15 (UPI) -- The United States on Monday called a Russian anti-satellite missile test "reckless" and "irresponsible" after debris from the test endangered astronauts working aboard the International Space Station.

The seven astronauts were forced to take shelter in their space capsules as a cloud of space junk moved toward the station at high speeds.

While the debris eventually moved away from the station, NASA's mission control in Houston advised the astronauts to seek refuge to avoid a collision that might require them to return to Earth.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken confirmed the debris came from fragments of a Russian satellite that was broken into thousands of pieces when an ASAT test was "recklessly conducted" by Moscow earlier in the day.

"This test has so far generated over 1,500 pieces of trackable orbital debris and will likely generate hundreds of thousands of pieces of smaller orbital debris," he said. "The long-lived debris created by this dangerous and irresponsible test will now threaten satellites and other space objects that are vital to all nations' security, economic, and scientific interests for decades to come."

Monday's events, he added, "clearly demonstrate that Russia, despite its claims of opposing the weaponization of outer space, is willing to jeopardize the long-term sustainability of outer space and imperil the exploration and use of outer space by all nations through its reckless and irresponsible behavior." The Good News Corner
Franklin Graham Thanks Christians for Their Prayers:
Says This About Thanksgiving

"I want to thank all of you who have prayed for me and shared such encouraging words while I am in the hospital," Graham said. "It means more than you know. I thank God for the good reports. My doctors say I'm doing well and recovering normally."

With Thanksgiving Day approaching in a couple of weeks (Nov. 25), Graham also sent out a message to reach the unsaved.

As we approach Thanksgiving, what are you thankful for this year? Graham asked. I am thankful for my salvation, that God loved me enough to send Jesus from Heaven to this earth to take my sins; that He died on a cross and shed His Blood for my sins. He was buried and God raised Him to life. I was 22 years old when I asked Jesus Christ to come into my heart. I've never regretted that moment."

I hope you will share this message with those on your social media. Ad if you haven't put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, I pray you will do that today. It's the most important decision any of us will ever make." (Charisma News) Read more.

Thoughts for Repentance
21 Days of Repentance

Day #5: The 5th Seal ~ Martyrdom of the Saints
Repenting to avoid His Judgment

And when the Lamb opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony they had upheld. And they cried out in a loud voice, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You avenge our blood and judge those who dwell upon the earth?” Then each of them was given a white robe and told to rest a little while longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers, were killed, just as they had been killed.…
~Revelation 6:9-11 (KJV)

At this stage of God's Epic Drama, it is almost amazing to me that some people still believe in a "Secret Rapture" akin to the Left Behind series. There has never been a time on planet Earth when true Christians were not persecuted and hunted down. Maybe it was not in your little corner of the world, but those pockets of liberty are rapidly diminishing faster than a sandcastle upon rising tide.

It is a somber realization that the 5th Seal is widespread martyrdom of the Saints. While this may strike fear and terror in the breast of many, I prefer to focus on the picture up above. It is atheists who "rage, rage against the dying of the light." True Christians should see death as a welcome respite of transition to a better place in the Presence of God.

Words and Music: Charles Tindley

Scripture: Cast your cares upon the Lord and He will sustain you. Psalm 55:22

Lyrics:
If the world from you withhold
Of its silver and its gold,
And you have to get along with meager fare,
Just remember, in His Word,
How He feeds the little bird;
Take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.

Refrain
Leave it there, leave it there,
Take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.
If you trust and never doubt,
He will surely bring you out.
Take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.

If your body suffers pain
And your health you can’t regain,
And your soul is almost sinking in despair,
Jesus knows the pain you feel,
He can save and He can heal;
Take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.

Refrain

When your enemies assail
And your heart begins to fail,
Don’t forget that God in Heaven answers prayer;
He will make a way for you
And will lead you safely through.
Take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.

Refrain

When your youthful days are gone
And old age is stealing on,
And your body bends beneath the weight of care;
He will never leave you then,
He’ll go with you to the end.
Take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.

Refrain
