TENS OF THOUSANDS GATHER AND MARCH FOR ISRAEL IN THE NATION'S CAPITAL

WASHINGTON - An estimated 290,000 people descended on the National Mall Tuesday in a show of support for the state of Israel, the hostages that were taken on Oct. 7, and to stand against the growing antisemitism around the country.
In addition, organizers said 250,000 people watched the event online.
"I think what's important is not what's said at the rally, it's important how many people show up. this is a numbers game," former U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman told CBN News.
Organizers said a public stand with Israel was needed as blatant Jew hatred is rapidly rising across America. FBI Director Christopher Wray recently told Congress that antisemitism is reaching historic levels in the United States.
"A lot of what we're doing with this event on Tuesday is to show the world, to show America, to show Congress, and to show the White House that the vast, vast majority of Americans stand with Israel and not with these Hamas sympathizers who are dressing like terrorists and minimizing and rationalizing the terror that has befallen Israel," William Daroff, CEO of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations told CBN News. White House Gives Dire Update on Americans Kidnapped During Hamas Terrorist Attack
|

The United States and Israel aren't sure how many hostages taken by Hamas last month "are still alive," White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan said on Nov. 12.
During an appearance on ABC News' "This Week," Mr. Sullivan said the United States is still working to release nine American citizens and one U.S. green-card holder who are suspected to have been captured by the State Department-designated terrorist group.
"We do not know the precise number of hostages. We know the number of missing, and that's the number the Israelis have given, but we don't know how many of those are still alive," he said. "As far as Americans are concerned, there are nine missing American citizens as well as a missing legal permanent resident—a green card holder."
Hamas kidnapped a number of civilians during a series of attacks in Southern Israel that left at least 1,400 people, most of them civilians, dead on Oct. 7. Israeli officials have said that more than 200 civilians were captured by the group, saying they're likely being kept in a series of tunnels underneath Gaza used by Hamas.(The Epoch Times) Read more here.

US strikes Iranian assets in Syria for
third time in weeks

The strikes were conducted against a training facility and a safe house near the cities of Abu Kamal and Mayadin.

The United States struck two Iranian-linked sites in Syria on Sunday in response to recent attacks on American forces, according to U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.
At least six Iranian-aligned terrorists were killed in strikes, Fox News reported, citing American defense officials.
This was the third time in less than three weeks that the U.S. military has targeted locations in Syria it said were tied to Iran, whose terror proxies have wounded dozens of American troops in a series of attacks in the Middle East since the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war on Oct. 7.
“U.S. military forces conducted precision strikes today on facilities in eastern Syria used by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Iran-affiliated groups in response to continued attacks against U.S. personnel in Iraq and Syria,” according to a statement by Austin.
The strikes targeted a training facility and a safe house near the cities of Abu Kamal and Mayadin, respectively, the statement said.
“The President [Joe Biden] has no higher priority than the safety of U.S. personnel, and he directed today’s action to make clear that the United States will defend itself, its personnel, and its interests,” added Austin. (JNS.org) Read more here.

House members emotional after seeing footage of Oct. 7 attack on Israel
|
|
House lawmakers appeared shaken Tuesday morning after being shown highly graphic footage of the Palestinian militant group Hamas’s deadly Oct. 7 attack on Israel.
The House Foreign Affairs Committee invited lawmakers from both parties to watch the footage. In an email to members, the committee described the video as “proof of Hamas’ war crimes.” About 150 lawmakers, Democrats and Republicans, attended the screening of the 40-minute video of the attack, in which Hamas militants killed 1,200 people and abducted about 240 others.
The screening, which was held in collaboration with the Israeli Embassy, comes as Israel faces mounting criticism from the United Nations and human rights groups over its retaliatory bombardment of the Gaza Strip, where more than 11,000 Palestinians — roughly 1 in every 200 people — have been killed over the past five weeks.
U.S. lawmakers have also faced mounting criticism from liberal constituents who want to see the Biden administration use its leverage with Israel to push harder for humanitarian relief and a cease-fire, as photos and videos continue to filter out of Gaza showing flattened apartment buildings and lifeless children being pulled from rubble.
On Tuesday, following the screening, several members were seen leaving the room in tears, and others consoled their colleagues as they walked to their respective party’s meetings.
“It’s a nightmare. It’s a nightmare,” Rep. Jamie B. Raskin (D-Md.) said of the footage. “We have 21st-century technology and 14th-century brains. The human species has a lot of work to do.”
The footage, which the Israeli government has also shown to Biden administration officials and journalists in Washington, New York and Tel Aviv, included graphic footage of burned, disfigured and bloodied bodies strewn across roadways and the floors of homes. In one video, captured by a security camera, Hamas militants can be seen killing a man with a grenade, and then pulling drinks from the refrigerator as the man’s sons scream and cry.
The Israeli government said it assembled the footage largely from militants’ body cameras and cellphones, security footage, and cellphone videos captured by victims and first responders.
Raskin said people leaving the room “were shaken to the core” after watching the video.
“It was utterly chilling,” Raskin told The Washington Post. “Hamas is a terrorist death cult, and it would clearly kill every person in Israel if it could. Nor does it show any interest in the rights of the Palestinian people.” (Washington Post) Read more here.

1. IDF offers incubators to Gaza; Hamas refuses to let medical staff take them - Israel Hayom
Palestinian authorities proposed a Red Cross-supervised evacuation of a hospital beset by fighting in Gaza on Tuesday, despite Israeli offers to provide incubators.
After days of battles with Palestinian terrorists, Israeli forces have encircled Shifa Hospital, where hundreds of patients, medical staff, and displaced people are trapped with dwindling supplies and without electricity to run incubators and other equipment. The IDF announced the transfer of incubators to the hospital on Tuesday, although it was unclear if Hamas would let them arrive at the place after being placed nearby.
The war, now in its sixth week, was triggered by Hamas' surprise attack into Israel, in which terrorists murdered some 1200 civilians and soldiers and dragged some 240 hostages back to Gaza. (Read more)

KHAN YOUNIS, Gaza Strip (AP) — The Israeli military seized broader control of northern Gaza on Tuesday, including capturing the territory’s legislature building and its police headquarters, in gains that carried high symbolic value in the country’s quest to crush the ruling Hamas militant group.
Meanwhile, Palestinian authorities called for a cease-fire to evacuate three dozen newborns and other patients trapped inside Gaza’s biggest hospital as Israeli forces battled Hamas in the streets just outside.
Inside some of the captured buildings, soldiers held up the Israeli flag and military flags in celebration. In a nationally televised news conference, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said Hamas had “lost control” of northern Gaza and that Israel made significant gains in Gaza City. (Read more)

4. Israel said seeking to appoint UK’s Tony Blair as Gaza humanitarian coordinator - Times of Israel
Israel is seeking to install former British prime minister Tony Blair as a humanitarian coordinator for the Gaza Strip, according to a report Sunday, out of a desire to improve the humanitarian situation inside the Palestinian enclave and reduce international pressure as it continues to wage its war on Hamas.
The Ynet news outlet, citing unnamed senior officials, said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hopes to leverage Blair’s experience as former envoy to the region for the Middle East Quartet to temper international concerns over the civilian cost of Israel’s campaign in Gaza.
The report indicated Blair has been contacted on the matter and talks have been ongoing in recent weeks. The former British leader’s office told Ynet in response that “he has not been given or offered a position,” but did not directly deny any contact. (Read more)

5. Israel's Foreign Minister says UN chief not fit to lead - i24 News
Israel's Foreign Minister Eli Cohen on Tuesday said that United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres was not fit to head the global body, saying he had not done enough to condemn militant group Hamas and was too close to Iran.
His comments, made at a press conference inside the UN building in Geneva.
"Guterres does not deserve to be the head of the United Nations," Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen said. Cohen was meeting in Geneva with the World Health Organization (WHO) and International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) alongside families of Israeli hostages.
"I think that Guterres like all the free nations should say clearly and loudly: free Gaza from Hamas. Everyone said Hamas is worse than ISIS. Why can he not say it?" stated Cohen. (Read more)

Employees and supervisors at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) are at the center of a brewing media firestorm after The Wall Street Journal released an in-depth report on the agency's "party culture."
"A male Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. supervisor in San Francisco invited employees to a strip club," The Wall Street Journal revealed in a recent story headlined, "Strip Clubs, Lewd Photos and a Boozy Hotel: The Toxic Atmosphere at Bank Regulator FDIC."
"A supervisor in Denver had sex with his employee, told other employees about it and pressed her to drink whiskey during work," the report continued. "Senior bank examiners texted female employees photos of their penises. The agency tolerated a heavy drinking culture." (Read more)

A new book aimed at “exposing the billionaire class” says Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates’ investments in patented fertilizers, fake meat and U.S. farmland aren’t saving the planet but rather enriching his bank account.
“Controligarchs,” which hits bookshelves Tuesday, examines billionaires like Bill Gates and how their wealth controls the levers of power that dominate the everyday life of average Americans.
Author and investigative journalist Seamus Bruner — who led teams whose findings sparked multiple FBI investigations and congressional probes into the Clinton and Biden families — says that his research uncovered Gates’s efforts to buy up American farmland and invest in synthetic dairy and lab-grown meats in the name of preventing climate change.

4. Randi Weingarten gets educated about exactly who is to blame for the rise in homeschooling - Fox News
American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten got more than she asked for after she posted an article about the rise in homeschooling in America on social media Sunday.
"What's behind the increase in homeschooling," Weingarten posted on X along with an article with the same title from Axios, which included experts attributing the rise to kids needing specialized services and the pandemic. Some X users, however, blamed Weingarten and the agenda the AFT has pushed for in education.
The AFT previously promoted the use of a pronoun card which included a question of whether the student wanted their parents to know about their pronouns.
The AFT has also partnered with First Book, an organization that distributes books containing gender ideology education to K-12 schools around the country. (Read more)

5. 8 Republicans help Democrats block effort to impeach DHS Secretary Mayorkas - DML News
House Democrats, with the help of a small group of Republicans, on Monday successfully blocked an effort led by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., to impeach Homeland Security Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas in a straight up or down vote.
The final vote tally was 209-201, with eight Republicans joining all Democrats in support of the latter party’s motion to stop that floor vote, and instead refer the impeachment resolution introduced by Greene to the House Homeland Security Committee. Twenty-four members — 12 Democrats and 12 Republicans — did not vote on the measure.
Fox News reporter Bill Melugin, who reports extensively on the invasion at the southern border, said he received a text from one House Republican, which read, “Impeachment of Mayorkas is literally the lowest hanging fruit and we are fucking it up. 6. First photos reveal the COCAINE found in the White House - The Daily Mail
Photos of cocaine found in a phone locker in President Joe Biden's White House this summer can be revealed by DailyMail.com for the first time. The Secret Service included images of the bag of white powder that was found in a cubby hole used to store personal belongings near the White House's West Executive entrance in response to a Freedom of Information Act request.
Cocaine was found in locker No. 50 on Sunday, July 2 while the Biden family - including son Hunter - was spending the weekend away at Camp David ahead of the Fourth of July holiday.
The discovery prompted an evacuation of the West Wing and street closures surrounding the White House and then triggered an 11-day investigation once the substance was identified as the illicit drug.
Documents obtained by DailyMail.com also show the Deputy Director of the FBI Paul Abbate was involved in the investigation, which clouded the Biden administration in scandal this summer. (Read more)

7. Biden border crisis costing taxpayers nearly half a trillion dollars - Washington Examiner
House Republicans released a report that totaled the costs of record-high illegal immigration at the southern border under the Biden administration and estimated that U.S. taxpayers have paid nearly half a trillion dollars.
The House Homeland Security Committee on Monday debuted a 49-page document that broke down the education, healthcare, law enforcement, and other costs that the arrests of more than 6 million illegal immigrants have generated since early 2021.
"Every day, millions of American taxpayer dollars are spent on costs directly associated with illegal immigration and the unprecedented crisis at the Southwest border sparked by Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ policies," the report stated. "Mass illegal immigration, accelerated by Mayorkas’ open-borders policies, now represents a massive cost to the federal government and state governments alike, as well as the pocketbooks of private citizens and businesses." 8. Paivi Rasanen Acquitted Over ‘Hate Speech’ for Sharing Bible Verse - Washington Stand
A Finnish parliamentarian and a Protestant church leader have been acquitted over charges of “hate speech” and violating the nation’s statute against “War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity” by sharing Bible verses and traditional Christian teachings about sexuality.
The Court of Appeals in Finland unanimously acquitted Päivi Räsänen, a Member of Parliament in Finland with the Christian Democrats Party, as well as Lutheran Bishop Juhana Pohjola, of all charges. Räsänen faced up to two years in prison, although the prosecutor lobbied for a fine in the thousands of euros.
Räsänen’s legal saga began after a 2019 social media post in which the devout Christian asked why her denomination, the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland, would participate in an LGBTQ Pride march. The post included a photo of Romans 1:24-27, one of many Bible passages that declares same-sex intercourse is sinful. Authorities also filed charges over a 2004 booklet expounding on biblical doctrine titled “Male and Female He Created Them: Homosexual Relations Challenge the Christian Concept of Humanity,” as well as comments she made in December 2019 on Ruben Stiller’s radio show. We pray for this prosecutor to have a powerful come-to-Jesus meeting and learn that he can't destroy the Living God, but he can repent and walk in redemption and life, in Jesus name.

9. Senate Rules panel votes along party lines to break Tuberville’s military holds - The Hill
The Senate Rules Committee voted along party lines Tuesday to advance a resolution that would allow Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) to confirm more than 350 military promotions being held up by Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) in a single package.
The resolution, however, would not apply to nominees to the Joint Chiefs of Staff or commanders nominated to lead combatant commands.
The Rules panel’s 9-7 vote means Schumer can bring the resolution to the Senate floor, but it needs 60 votes to pass.
“One member of the Senate, the senior senator from Alabama, has defied long-standing Senate custom and prevented the swift bipartisan confirmation of hundreds of generals and flag officers,” Schumer, a member of the Rules Committee, said before the vote. “What Sen. Tuberville [is doing] is truly an anomaly that does much harm and requires a response.”
Schumer added, “If my Republican colleagues can’t convince Sen. Tuberville to relent, I will bring it to the floor shortly for a vote. We need to get these military nominees confirmed ASAP for the sake of our national security,” he said. (Read more)

Somewhere along the line, the Christian “church” went off mission by entrusting moral solutions to politics. Abdicating “church” responsibilities to politicians and government has bad results. In the 1960’s mainline churches supported President Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society agenda where a new era of taxation and government programs were to aid the less fortunate. To many church leaders this transfer of wealth meant the government would be doing the heavy lifting in helping the poor and elderly, and thus, reducing the financial pressure from church community outreach. This meant more money for buildings and programs, parking lots and technology, but the blessings of salvation and giving were diminished.
Fast forward to today. The “church” is in shock over the results of the recent elections. Democrats in Virginia made abortion rights the only issue. They bombarded the airwaves with the concept that because Republican extremists wanted no abortion-no exceptions, women were going to die. Republicans had no response. They let the lies stand. They ceded their values. And the Democrats won. In Ohio, a similar election. Democrats pounded their claims about women’s rights and abortion restrictions without exceptions. Not only did they codify abortion and other parental rights restrictions in the Ohio constitution, they were successful in legalizing marijuana. Israel calls on Hamas to surrender Shifa hospital base as US strikes Iran proxies in Syria

The Israeli military is calling on Hamas to surrender its bases in and under Shifa Hospital in Gaza on Monday, despite Hamas denials that it has such a base. Fighting has centered around the hospital for days as patients suffer a lack of resources. The U.S., meanwhile, has launched airstrikes against Iranian proxy terrorist groups in Syria.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu offered a dire warning to America that it may be "next" if the IDF doesn't decimate Hamas during an interview with FOX News' Sean Hannity.
"We have to win not only for our sake, but for the sake of the Middle East, for the sake of our Arab neighbors. You know what, for the sake of Gazans who've been held by this dark tyranny that has brutalized and brought them nothing but bloodshed and poverty and misery," Netanyahu said Monday. "We have to win to protect Israel. We have to win to safeguard the Middle East. We have to win for the sake of the civilized world. That's the battle we're fighting, and it's being waged right now. There is no substitute for that victory."
"If we don't win now, then Europe is next and you're next. And we have to win," he later added.
Netanyahu stressed that "our fight is your fight" and that there is "no substitute for victory."
"We have to have the forces of civilization beat these barbarians because otherwise this barbarism will spread and will endanger the entire world," Netanyahu said. Internal State Department memo accused Biden of 'misinformation' on Israel-Hamas war

An internal State Department dissent memo that was reportedly leaked to the press accused President Biden of "spreading misinformation" about the Israel-Hamas war and claimed Israel is committing "war crimes."
Axios reported that it obtained what it called a "scathing" memo that was signed by 100 State Department and USAID employees that suggested Biden’s continued support of Israel has made him "complicit in genocide" as the Jewish state continues to retaliate after Hamas killed at least 1,400 civilians during the Oct. 7 terror attack.
"Some of the memo's language echoes that of progressive activists in the U.S., whose anger and protests over Biden's handling of the war have rippled through the Democratic Party — and created a new challenge for the president's 2024 campaign," Axios reported.
The memo does not offer specific examples of what "misinformation" Biden has helped spread, according to the report.
"The memo, transmitted to the State Department's policy office on Nov. 3, opens by noting the ‘recent atrocities committed by Hamas on October 7th’ — a reference to Hamas' attack on Israel that killed 1,400 people and ignited the war. For the most part, however, the memo's authors focus on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's counterattack on Hamas in Gaza," Axios reported. (Fox News) Read more here.

Intense eruptive activity started at the Mt. Etna, located in Italy’s Sicily, local media reported on Monday.
As the volcanic clouds created by the explosions in the mountain have reached an inestimable height, the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) issued a red code for aviation, noted the public broadcaster Rainews.
INGV announced that a network of surveillance cameras had revealed an increase in Strombolian activity at the southeast crater, accompanied by a lava overflow from the southeast saddle.
From the forecast model of volcanic ash dispersal, the simulation of the eventual dispersion of the volcanic plume indicates an east-southeast direction, it added.

Court Rules Chicago Board of Ed Violated Student's Rights by Forcing Her to Practice Hindu Rituals

An Illinois Circuit Court has ruled in favor of a former Chicago public school student who was forced to participate in Hindu rituals by her school, directly violating her Christian beliefs. Mariyah Green was awarded $150,000 in damages and legal fees by the Illinois Circuit Court last week for violations of her First Amendment rights by the Board of Education of the City of Chicago and the David Lynch Foundation, over mandated participation in Hindu rituals while attending Bogan High School. Students were required to participate in a program called "Quiet Time," which was a Hinduistic religious program encompassing the practice of Transcendental Meditation.
Green and other students participated in a portion of the program that required them to engage in a Puja initiation rite. This ceremony included reciting statements recognizing the power possessed by various Hindu deities and invitations to channel their powers. Those who did not want to participate in the "Quiet Time" program were warned that their failure to participate could impact their grades and disqualify them from participating in their respective graduation ceremonies. Green was told that her grades - and thus her eligibility to play basketball - would be negatively affected if she did not participate in the "Quiet Time" program.
