The Islamification of US Universities... and Jewish Students

Some Islamists predict a disturbing side effect of the pro-Palestinian campus protests. The protestors, many of whom are Jewish, will come closer to Islam and convert as a result of their political activism.
Similarly, the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) reported that Dawud Walid, the Executive Director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) Michigan chapter, said in a Friday sermon at the Medina Activity Center, MCWS (Muslim Community of the Western Detroit Suburbs), on April 26, 2024, that he had joined protestors at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Perhaps the most disturbing aspect of his speech was his observation that about half of the people protesting were Jewish supporters of Muslims against the occupation of Palestine. He predicted that they would join Muslims to pray in mosques one day. (Israel365News) Read more here.

1. IAEA chief: Iranian ‘loose talk’ about nukes must stop - JNS
International Atomic Energy Agency Director Rafael Grossi said on Tuesday that the agency was taking the Islamic Republic’s recent remarks about nuclear weapons very seriously.
“Loose talk about nuclear weapons is extremely serious for me. And I think it should stop. We are moving closer to a situation where there is a big, huge question mark about what they are doing and why they are doing it,” Grossi told The Guardian following a meeting with U.K. Foreign Secretary David Cameron.
Over the weekend, an Iranian lawmaker representing a district close to Iran’s Natanz nuclear facility said the Islamic Republic might already possess a nuclear bomb.
“In my opinion, we have achieved nuclear weapons, but we do not announce it,” said Ahmad Bakhshayesh Ardestani. (Read more)

2. Iran-Backed Houthi Terrorists Vow to Target All Ships Heading to Israel - Algemeiner
Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi militia will target all ships heading to Israeli ports, even if they do not pass through the Red Sea, the head of the US-designated terrorist organization said on Thursday.
Abdulmalik al-Houthi declared in a televised speech that the Houthis will extend their attacks on Israel-bound ships beyond the Red Sea region to the Mediterranean Sea in what the Yemeni rebels have described as a campaign of solidarity with Palestinians during the ongoing Israel-Hamas war in Gaza.
“We will target any ship heading to Israel that comes within range of our weapons,” Abdulmalik al-Houthi said. “Everyone must stop transporting to the occupied Palestinian ports … It is in the interest of all companies to stop transporting to the Israeli enemy towards the Mediterranean Sea or in any direction.” (Read more)

3. Explosive Hezbollah drone injures troops, rockets pound north as fighting heats up -Times of Israel
Three soldiers were injured, one seriously, when a drone packed with explosives launched from Lebanese territory crashed and blew up in an area near the northern community of Metula, the Israeli military said Thursday.
The attack was claimed by the Hezbollah terror group, which said it had targeted Israel Defense Forces targets with a missile-armed drone, as cross-border hostilities continued to spiral following the killing of a senior Hezbollah field commander earlier this week.
One of the troops was hospitalized in serious condition, the military said, and the other two were lightly hurt as a result of the blast. (Read more)

4. Egypt said to form panel to mull moves against Israel amid anger over Rafah op - Times of Israel
Egypt has reportedly formed a panel of international law experts that will look into potential steps Cairo is weighing against Israel, as the country fumes over the IDF’s offensive in Rafah.
According to UAE news site The National, which cites unnamed sources, the panel is to also include constitutional experts and senior intelligence officers.
The report says further details on the panel’s makeup and mandate are unknown, but elaborates that it “reflects the depth of anger Cairo feels over the seizure by Israel on May 7 of the Palestinian side of the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and Gaza, as well as its rapidly expanding ground operation in the border city.” (Read more)

5. Antisemitic incident in central London Jewish area as knife-wielding woman arrested - Israel Hayom
An antisemitic incident occurred in the heart of the British capital when an armed woman threatened passersby Thursday in the center of Stamford Hill, one of Britain's largest and most populated Jewish neighborhoods.
The woman was filmed shouting at a man with an ultra-Orthodox appearance, "You are to blame for all the problems in the world. You always start fights! Who started World War II? The Jews!"
Officers from London's Metropolitan Police arrived at the scene and arrested the woman, threatening her with a taser and instructing her to lie on the ground. The woman was taken into custody for questioning. (Read more)

1. National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan to Visit Israel, Saudi Arabia, Amid Rafah Tensions – JNS News
The Biden administration has reportedly reached an understanding with Jerusalem that the IDF operation in the city will not be significantly expanded until after the visit. U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan is scheduled to visit Israel and Saudi Arabia later this week to discuss normalization between Jerusalem and Riyadh and the Israeli military operation in Rafah in southern Gaza.
A senior U.S. official told the Axios news site that the Biden administration had reached an understanding with the Israeli government that the scale of the Israel Defense Forces operation in the last Hamas stronghold would not be significantly expanded ahead of Sullivan’s visit.
The Biden administration is opposed to a full-scale invasion of Rafah, threatening to withhold weapons should a wider ground offensive take place. The IDF last week began what Israel described as a “precision operation” in eastern Rafah, including the mass evacuation of the city’s noncombatants to the Al-Mawasi humanitarian zone. (Read more)

2. Chase the Vote Strategy that Conservative Activists Hope will Win the 2024 Election - The Epoch Times
In an office in Phoenix, dozens of young conservatives are enacting a strategy they say they learned from “defectors from the left.”
Matthew Martinez bounded from map to map, a broad smile on his face. He pointed out important areas of Arizona and Wisconsin—“super chase” jurisdictions scattered throughout the two battleground states.
Behind him, a few other Turning Point Action staffers were working at a bank of computers.

3. Non-Citizens are Illegally Registering to Vote, Study Finds – Discern Report
A new study has found that a shocking number of non-citizens have registered to vote in America’s elections ahead of the critical November presidential race.
The study, published by Just Facts, is based on the latest available data and an enhanced version of a stress-tested methodology from a scholarly journal.
Researchers found that about 10 percent to 27 percent of non-citizen adults living in the U.S. are now illegally registered to vote. The U.S. Census recorded more than 19 million adult non-citizens living in the U.S. during 2022.
Given their voter registration rates, this means that about two million to five million of them are illegally registered to vote. (Read more)

The Chinese regime has improved influence operation tools such as TikTok, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies to use against targets
Beijing is “growing increasingly confident” in its ability to influence elections in the United States and globally, according to Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines.
The Chinese authorities, she said, have perfected their influence operation tools through artificial intelligence and big data analytics, she told lawmakers at a Senate hearing on foreign threats to the 2024 elections.
“Their tactics globally include bankrolling candidates, they prefer using deep fake technologies to generate content, collecting polling data to determine targets for them, conducting social media influence operations,” she said, adding that China’s armed forces, known as the People’s Liberation Army, operate social media accounts on multiple social media platforms. 5. What’s Behind America’s Doctor Crisis? - The Epoch Times
Physicians are retiring in greater numbers as burnout levels increase at the same time Americans are placing higher demands on the health care system.
Problems securing appointments to see doctors in the United States are exacerbated by soaring health care demand and fewer doctors. Many specializations are increasingly affected by this trend, but primary care and emergency medicine are among the hardest hit.
The average wait time to see a doctor has increased since 2017 and continued to rise after the demand spike brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. A survey conducted by AMN Healthcare in 2022 of 15 large metro markets revealed that the average time to see a physician was 26 days—an 8 percent increase from 2017 and a 24 percent spike since 2004.
Staff constraints are also felt in hospital emergency departments. Nearly 140 million Americans visited a hospital emergency department in 2021, based on data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Of those, about 13 percent resulted in hospital admission, and thousands waited hours to see health care providers. (Read more)

The least expensive state requires about half that salary – still over $100,000.

Please watch over and provide for the true innocents in each country, and give us leaders who will seek Your face and hold those accountable that have stolen and wasted needed resources, including our tax dollars.

Holy Spirit, we ask You to come and fall powerfully on our nation’s leaders, imparting what each one needs to begin to view the world with our Father’s eyes.

8. Russia is About to Overrun Ukraine’s Defenses: Why Are There no Peace Negotiations? - Discern Report
There are two classic propaganda narratives used by governments when it comes to keeping the public invested in any war campaign that does nothing to advance their national interests:
First, there’s the “commitment” lie, which says that once you step in to support a war effort you then must stay exponentially committed, even if that war effort is exposed as pointless. Anytime the public pulls back from that war in a bid to reconsider what purpose it serves they are ridiculed for potentially “risking lives” and setting the stage for defeat. In other words, you must support the effort blindly. You’re not allowed to examine the conflict rationally, because who wants to be blamed for losing a war?
Second, there’s the “domino effect” lie, which says that if you allow a particular “enemy” to win in one conflict, they will automatically be emboldened to invade other countries until they own the entire planet. It’s the same claim used to trick the American populace into supporting the war in Vietnam and it rarely turns out to be true. In fact, nations that engage in regional wars tend to be so weakened by the fighting that they don’t have the means to move on to another country even if they wanted to.
No amount of additional funding or arms shipments are going to help them, and it has nothing to do with conservatives questioning the validity of war spending. (Read more)

May there be peace negotiations that are fair and take both nations into consideration in dividing the spoils. We pray that those within Russian and Ukrainian territories and those from other nations who have a vested but misguided interest in maintaining the war, would come to have no standing nor influence. May they come to their senses or be denied a voice in the outcomes. Cleveland Clinic: COVID Vaccine Offered Lower Protection And Higher Risk

A Cleveland Clinic study of 47,561 Cleveland Clinic employees indicated that the COVID-19 vaccine was only 23% effective and higher doses were associated with higher risk of COVID-19. The study sates: “There was no significant difference in the cumulative incidence of COVID-19 in the 2023- 2024 formula vaccinated state compared to the non-vaccinated state in an unadjusted analysis…Consistent with similar findings in many prior studies [3,8,10,12,18–20], a higher number of prior vaccine doses was associated with a higher risk of COVID-19. The exact reason for this finding is not clear. It is possible that this may be related to the fact that vaccine-induced immunity is weaker and less durable than natural immunity.”
Another recent study, Review: N1-methyl-pseudouridine (m1Ψ): Friend or foe of cancer?, published in the International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, drew a distinct correlation between the Moderna and Pfizer COVID 19 vaccines and cancer. A very technical expose’ of ingredients used by the big pharma conglomerates demonstrated that adding 100% of N1-methyl-pseudouridine to the mRNA vaccine improved its effectiveness. This is the story that was told to the public. What was not told to the public, and was found in this study, that modifying mRNA vaccines with 100% N1-methyl-pseudouridine “stimulated cancer growth and metastasis, while non-modified mRNA vaccines induced opposite results, thus suggesting that COVID-19 mRNA vaccines could aid cancer development.” Read More

Former President Trump is attending youngest son Barron Trump’s high school graduation in Florida on Friday, a break from his criminal trial in New York City.
Barron Trump, 18, will graduate from Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Friday. The graduation ceremony is private.
Barron Trump will go to college, but it is unclear which university he has selected. The former president has previously floated the possibility of his son attending his own alma mater, the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump Jr. and Tiffany Trump also graduated. Eric Trump attended Georgetown University.
"Barron’s a great student and he’s very proud of the fact he did so well and was looking forward for years to having his graduation with his mother and father there," Trump said before Merchan granted his request to miss a day in court for the "scam trial."
Former first lady Melania Trump told Fox News Digital during an exclusive interview last month that nothing makes her prouder than the relationship she has built with Barron.

At Least 4 Dead, Nearly 700K Without Power After Severe Storm in Houston: 'It Was Fierce'

On the morning of May 17, streets were littered with glass in downtown, while school districts canceled classes for more than 400,000 students
Hurricane-force winds tore buildings apart, caused glass to fall from downtown skyscrapers and knocked out electricity to nearly 1 million homes in Houston, resulting in the deaths of at least four people, authorities said.
The powerful storm moved quickly across the metro area on the evening of Thursday, May 16, Houston Mayor John Whitmire said.
“It was fierce, it was intense, it was quick and most Houstonians didn’t have time to get themselves out of harm’s way,” Whitmire told reporters on Friday.
Falling trees claimed the lives of at least two people, while another died in an accident involving a crane overturning, the Houston Chronicle reported.
On Friday morning, Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo and Whitmire gave a joint update on the aftermath of the storm, which resulted in school districts canceling classes for 400,000 area students and the closing of government offices.
“We are going to have to talk about this disaster in weeks, not days,” Hidalgo said.
By midday Friday, nearly 700,000 Harris County residents were still without power, while authorities were cautioning residents to avoid unnecessary driving — especially in downtown, where streets were littered with glass.

For the first time since 1946, stargazers will have the chance to see an incredibly rare explosion in the cosmos known as a nova.
The celestial wonders of April’s solar eclipse and the mesmerizing dance of last weekend's aurora borealis captivated millions, yet the cosmos has an even more elusive spectacle in store. Before the year’s end, the night sky will unveil an astronomical phenomenon so extraordinary that it eclipses the rarity of both these events combined.
A blazingly bright event known as a nova, a light show that happens approximately once every 80 years, is expected to be visible in the coming months.
"This could be a once-in-a-lifetime viewing opportunity," NASA said.
T Coronae Borealis is a white dwarf 3,000 light-years from Earth and will be the focal point of the highly anticipated outburst. It last flashed in the sky in 1946 and is predicted to happen again before October.
A nova might not be as breathtaking as a total solar eclipse or as awe-inspiring as the aurora, but it happens far less frequently than either. Regent University Launches Institute for Israel Studies to Counter Rising US Antisemitism

Regent University has launched a new academic institute that will counter the anti-Israel propaganda that is fueling the rise of antisemitism across college campuses in America by equipping evangelical Christian students to know how to counter false narratives in academia. The Institute for Israel Studies launched this month within the Robertson School of Government and is scheduled to provide educational offerings for Christians who are pro-Israel this fall. Dr. A.J. Nolte, assistant professor of government at the Robertson School and chair of the institute, told CBN News the purpose is to provide "education about contemporary Israel and some of the realities about the modern state."
He shared that much of the "propaganda" presented to college-age students falsely paints Israel as a 'genocidal apartheid state.' "The battleground really is in the schools. It's in academia right now," he told CBN News. "If you look at what is happening post-October 7th, the locus of antisemitism and anti-Israel activity in the United States is coming from universities. The only way to fight that is to fight fire with fire in the academic university setting." Nolte adds the Robertson School of Government is "well-positioned to counter a lot of those negative narratives from within a Christian frame.
