Nashville police identified the shooter who opened fire on Monday morning at The Covenant School as 28-year-old Audrey Hale, a transgender woman and former student at the private Presbyterian school.
Hale's home address is about three miles away from the Covenant School, according to public records. The FBI, ATF, and local police cordoned off that home with crime scene tape on Monday afternoon.
Investigators found a "manifesto" and other writings that they are looking into as they search for a motive. Hand drawn maps of the school with detailed entry points were also located at the residence. (Fox News) Read more here.

Chinese-American bank 'willingly' provided Biden family financial records: GOP senator
|
|
As more confirmations come forth regarding the Biden family’s business dealings in China, Americans are calling on President Joe Biden to address the "significant and important" financial connection.
"When you see this kind of a connection between a sitting president, his son and the Chinese government, when people just don't trust this and know that it's one of the biggest threats facing us right now, that's a really big issue that needs to be addressed," Maslansky + Partners President Lee Carter said on "Mornings with Maria" on Monday.
Her comments come on the heels of Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., revealing Sunday to host Maria Bartiromo that Chinese-American-owned Cathay Bank disclosed Biden family bank records that match U.S. regulator records. "A bank from China, let's face it, the Communist Party controls those types of institutions; they willingly gave us the documents that backed up the Treasury records," Johnson said on "Sunday Morning Futures."
While Cathay Bank was founded in the U.S. in 1962 and is currently headquartered in Chinatown, Los Angeles, they also house representative offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Taipei, according to its website. It also claims to be America’s oldest operating bank founded by Chinese Americans.
Despite Biden denying in recent weeks that his son, Hunter Biden, brother Jim, and Hallie Biden, the widow of his son, Beau, received split payments of $1 million from Hunter’s business associate, Rob Walker, Johnson claimed the new Cathay Bank records solidify the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into the family’s international business ventures.
"Is that the Chinese Communist Party, is that a shot across President Biden's bow, saying, 'Listen, this is some of the information we have. If you don't toe the line, if you don't do things that displease us, we're going to even provide … more information,'" Johnson said. "So, we obviously have a multiple-tier system of justice." (North Dakota) Train Carrying Hazardous Materials Falls Off Tracks,
Sends Dozens of Cars Toppling

A 70-car train carrying hazardous materials derailed in North Dakota, officials said Monday.
The train derailed at around 1 a.m. on Monday about 2 miles from Wyndmere in Richland County, sheriff’s officials told local media outlets. No deaths or injuries were reported, officials said.
Of the 70 cars, some 31 derailed off the tracks, officials said. Some of the cars were reportedly leaking petroleum products used to make asphalt, officials told Valley News Live, while adding that there is no danger to the public.
Richland County Sheriff’s officials told Valley News Live that several streets in Wyndmere will be shut down for cleanup and is expected to last between seven and 10 days. Reports indicate that the train was operated by Canadian Pacific.
Wyndmere is located in the southeast portion of North Dakota, around 50 miles from both the Minnesota and South Dakota borders. Both Wyndmere and Richland counties are sparsely populated, with Richland having a population of about 16,000 and Wyndmere having 400.
On Sunday, meanwhile, officials said that several Canadian Pacific train cars derailed in a Chicago-area suburb. [Franklin Park - the editor] Neither car was carrying hazardous materials, authorities told a local Fox News affiliate.

Talks between opposition and coalition figures over the judicial overhaul plan begin at the President’s Residence in Jerusalem, President Isaac Herzog’s office says.
Yesh Atid’s delegation is made up of MKs Orna Barbivai and Karin Elharrar, former Prime Minister’s Office director general Naama Schultz and lawyer Oded Gazit, while National Unity has sent MKs Chili Tropper, Gideon Sa’ar, Orit Farkash-Hacohen and attorney Ronen Aviana.
Likud says its team will be made up of Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, Kohelet Policy Forum legal scholar Aviad Bakshi, Cabinet Secretary Yossi Fuchs and academic Talia Einhorn.

(March 28, 2023 / JNS) Israeli Prime Minister could soon be invited to the White House for a meeting with U.S. President Joe Biden after announcing a pause in judicial reforms.
“I believe he will be invited after Passover,” U.S. Ambassador to Israel Thomas Nides told Army Radio on Tuesday.

3. Gallant still carrying out defense minister duties, with future up in the air - Times of Israel
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant was still serving in his role on Tuesday, two days after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dismissed him for publicly urging a halt to the government’s judicial overhaul legislation.
Gallant addressed the nation with his recommendation on Saturday and was fired by Netanyahu in a statement Sunday. By Monday evening, Netanyahu, under intense public pressure, had halted the legislation as Gallant had sought. But he has not commented so far on Gallant’s future.
Hebrew media has reported on an ongoing coalition push behind the scenes for Netanyahu to reverse his decision. For now, the defense minister is fulfilling his duties, with no official notice of termination yet handed to him. (Read more)

4. Far-right group attacks Arabs at pro-overhaul protest, chants ‘may your village burn’ - Times of Israel
Far-right groups were filmed attacking Arab passersby during pro-government demonstrations in Jerusalem and in one case “savagely” beating a man, police said early Tuesday, adding that three people had been arrested for the assault.
The attacks came as mass protests for and against the government’s judicial overhaul across major cities descended into clashes with police who sought to clear roads and restore order overnight, as the country still boiled after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that his government would temporarily halt the legislative push that sparked the demonstrations.
The largest evening demonstrations took place in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, with the former being the gathering site for tens of thousands of pro-overhaul demonstrators and the latter hosting a similar number of protesters opposed to the government’s effort to radically curb the High Court of Justice’s power. Fifty-three arrests were made of demonstrators for blocking roads and creating public disturbances throughout the day across the country, though mostly in Tel Aviv. (Read more)

5. Yesh Atid calls for creation of Israeli constitution - Israel National News
The Yesh Atid party stated following the first round of negotiations on the judicial reforms at the President's Residence this evening (Tuesday) that its negotiating team called for "significant reforms" during the meeting, including the creation of a constitution for the State of Israel.
“We told the president that in the 75th year of the State of Israel, we can make a real change — not just cosmetic fixes, but a widely agreed upon constitution based on the values of the Declaration of Independence,” the delegation said in a statement.
The delegation also stated that it "seeks a broad consensus of public representatives to reflect a national consensus of the citizens of Israel.” (Read more)

1. Marjorie Taylor Greene votes against sanctioning China over organ harvesting - Washington Examiner
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) voted against a bill seeking to impose sanctions on China over reports of human trafficking for the purposes of organ removal and harvesting.
The House passed the measure with a 413-2 vote, with only Greene and Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) voting against the legislation. The pair voted against the sanctions because it amounted to U.S. overreach, the lawmakers said, with Massie noting the legislation gave the president too much authority over imposing sanctions.
The bill gives the President unilateral broad authority to sanction individuals and politicians without any adjudication or due process," Massie told the Washington Examiner. "Furthermore, according to language in this bill, anyone who receives or offers compensation for an organ donation could be defined as an organ trafficker eligible for punitive actions from the US President." Greene echoed similar sentiments, calling the proposal a "flawed bill" that encourages increased U.S. involvement in global affairs. (Read more)

2. IRS Agent Showed Up To ‘Twitter Files’ Journalist’s Home Unannounced On The Day He Testified Before Congress - Daily Caller
Journalist Matt Taibbi received an unannounced home visit from an IRS agent on the same day he testified in front of the House Weaponization Subcommittee about the Twitter Files, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Taibbi was reportedly left a note by the IRS agent to call the agency four days later, and when he called, the IRS told him his 2018 and 2021 tax returns were rejected because of identity theft concerns, according to the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) Editorial Board.
Republican Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan, Chair of the House Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, wrote a letter to IRS commissioner Daniel Werfel and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen demanding answers about why the IRS sent an agent to Taibbi’s home. (Read more)

3. Nashville school shooting should be investigated as hate crime, Hawley says - Fox News
The shooting at a Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee that left three children and three adults dead should be investigated as a hate crime, Missouri Senator Josh Hawley said Tuesday.
"We should be clear about what happened in Nashville. Police say the shooting was ‘targeted,’" the Republican lawmaker tweeted. "That makes it a federal hate crime - against Christian children and teachers. Targeting victims on the basis of religious affiliation is a hate crime. It should be investigated as such."
"All federal resources necessary should be brought to bear," Hawley added in a follow-up tweet. "And those individuals or groups who have spread a message of hate against the Christian community - which resulted here in horrific violence - should be held to account." Hawley is calling on the FBI and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to open a federal hate crime investigation into the Nashville school shooting. (Read more)

4. FDA admits to knowing about deadly bacteria found in baby formula months before it was recalled - Fox News
The Food and Drug administration (FDA) admitted to having knowledge of a deadly bacteria detected in a type of baby formula months before the brand was recalled.
In November, the FDA inspected the Mead Johnson plant, where Enfamil ProSobee Simply Plant-Based Infant Formula is made, and was informed that Cronobacter bacteria had been detected at the Zeeland, Michigan facility, in September.
Despite the initial contaminated batch being destroyed, another 145,000 cans were recalled after the bacteria was found in the formula. No bacteria was found in the recalled cans of formula, according to the FDA.
The February recall came around five months after the discovery of Cronobacter, which the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says "can be deadly for young infants." Symptoms in babies include fever, poor feeding, excessive crying, low energy, seizures, spine swelling, and bloodstream infections. (Read more)

5. Support for Traditional American Values, Patriotism Declines - Brietbart
The percentage of Americans who say patriotism, religious faith, family, and other traditional American values are “very important” is on the decline, a Wall Street Journal-NORC poll found.
Support for every traditional American value included in the poll has receded since 1998 besides “money,” which has grown in importance. The data also shows young people and Democrats tend not to highly rank traditional American values as much as older adults and Republicans.
Bill McInturff, a pollster who worked on a similar Journal survey that measured these values, told the publication that “these differences are so dramatic, it paints a new and surprising portrait of a changing America” and speculated that “perhaps the toll of our political division, Covid and the lowest economic confidence in decades is having a startling effect on our core values.’’ (Read more)

6. Blac Chyna removes 'demonic' tattoo as she regains her faith - Fox News
Blac Chyna used to be known for her sexy image and the exaggerated look she achieved with plastic surgery and fillers, but those days are gone. Now, Chyna, whose real name is Angela White, says she is a born-again Christian — and she's making some big changes in her life to reflect that.
One of those changes, as she explained in a new video she shared to Instagram, is the removal of a "demonic" tattoo from her hip.
"So y'all know that I got this Baphomet tattoo," she said, referring to the old pagan deity that's depicted as a goat with a pentagram on its forehead and is commonly associated with Satan.
"It's got to come off, you know what I mean?" she asked. "I'm not about to have no mark of the beast, nothing like that."
Chyna recently discussed these decisions on "Fox and Friends Weekend," explaining, "Honestly, for me, I was like, this is too much. It's time for a change. This is not really who I am. 7. House unanimously passes bill to stop treating China as a 'developing country' - Just The News
The House unanimously passed a bill that would direct the Secretary of State to work on removing the "developing country" label placed on the People's Republic of China in international organizations and treaties.
The bill, titled the "PRC Is Not a Developing Country Act," was introduced by Rep. Young Kim (R-Calif.) and passed Monday in a 415-0 vote. The legislation calls for the Secretary of State to "pursue" changing the status of China, where possible, from a developing nation to an upper middle income, high income or developed country. The bill also said the secretary should work to ensure China "does not receive preferential treatment or assistance" from its label as a developing country.
Even though China has the second-largest economy in the world, with the U.S. as the first, some international organizations, such as the United Nations, still classify China as a developing country. (Read more)

8. TV Meteorologist Prays On-Air as Tornado Slams Town: 'Dear Jesus, Please Be with Them' - Christian Headlines
Video of a Tupelo, Miss., meteorologist went viral after he prayed live on-air Friday evening while watching radar images of a deadly tornado approaching a small community.
Meteorologist Matt Laubhan of WTVA-TV was keeping viewers updated on a tornado warning with live radar images Friday when one particular radar image caused him to pause. The image showed the tornado heading straight toward the town of Amory, which has a population of about 6,500 people.
“Oh, man,” he uttered, disturbed by the radar image. “Dear Jesus, please help them. Amen,” he said.
Laubhan told CNN the prayer wasn’t planned.
“I can't say that I was intending on praying,” Laubhan told CNN. “It was kind of a situation where we knew something extremely bad was happening. And we knew that it was possible, maybe even probable, that people were being hurt and about to die. And I very rarely am at a loss for words, and I was just feeling a little bit overwhelmed, honestly. And it just kind of came out. And the reaction from the public here in Mississippi, in particular, has been overwhelmingly positive. In many cases, people told me that it helped them to realize the seriousness of the situation. And I'd like to say it was something I intended on doing, but I think God just kind of took over at that moment.” (Read more)

Experts Divided On Sharp Decrease In US Life Expectancy

National Public Radio carried a story March 25 saying that life expectancy in the United States is declining at an alarming rate compared to other “wealthy” countries. Researchers for the Journal of the American Medical Association, the National Academy of Science, funded by the National Institutes of Health are all decrying how the US life expectancy is lower than that of Cuba, Lebanon and Czechia. They talk about how American children are less likely to live to age five than children in other countries and that people are being killed in the US before age 50—pointing to teen pregnancy, drug overdoses, HIV, fatal car crashes, injuries, and violence—they specifically stated semi-automatic weapons and mass shootings.
In typical fashion, the researchers seemed to discount the leading cause of death, heart disease, and focus on social aspects—lack of universal healthcare, gun ownership, racial disparities, etc. One researcher said that “Two years difference in life expectancy probably comes from the fact that firearms are so available in the United States.” This is an erroneous assumption. The Department of Justice documents approximately 9,000 gun-related deaths per year in the US. Drunk driving kills over 10,000 people a year. The Centers for Disease Control reports the five leading causes of death in the US are: Heart disease: 695,547; Cancer: 605,213; COVID-19: 416,893; Accidents (unintentional injuries): 224,935; and Stroke (cerebrovascular diseases): 162,890. ‘In the Arms of Christ’: Pastor’s Daughter Among Children Killed During Christian School Shooting

As the nation continues to process the horror that unfolded Monday morning at The Covenant School, a Christian elementary academy in Nashville, Tennessee, heartbreaking new details continue to emerge.
Among the unimaginable stories, a pastor’s young daughter was reportedly one of the six victims killed during the mass shooting.
Hallie Scruggs, 9, was the youngest daughter of Chad Scruggs, senior pastor at Covenant Presbyterian Church, the house of worship affiliated with the school, and his wife, Jada, The New York Post reported.
Chad Scruggs previously served as pastor of Park Cities Presbyterian Church in Dallas, Texas, for nearly six years, and also worked as a campus minister at Reformed University Fellowship at SMU.
Mark Davis, senior pastor of Park Cities, told WFAA-TV the Scruggs family is still close with the church community and that members of Park Cities have flown to Nashville to offer comfort during this time.
Davis said he spoke with Scruggs just hours after shooter Audrey Hale, 28, allegedly entered The Covenant School and committed the unthinkable.In addition to hearing despair in the pastor’s voice, Davis said he also listened to the grieving father’s faith shine through amid the onslaught of inconceivable pain.

Covenant School Shooter's Twisted Final Messages Revealed: 'Something Bad Is About to Happen'

The Nashville, Tennessee, school shooter told a former middle school basketball teammate minutes before entering the school that she planned to die, according to a report Tuesday from local news outlet WTVF-TV.
The shooter, 28-year-old Audrey Hale, attended the Covenant School as a girl but later identified as male. She told Averianna Patton at 9:57 a.m. in an Instagram direct message that she was going to die, according to WTVF.
“I’m planning to die today,” the transgender shooter wrote. “THIS IS NOT A JOKE!!! You’ll probably hear about me on the news after I die. “This is my last goodbye. I love you. See you again in another life.”
After attempting to comfort Hale, Patton alerted the Nashville Davidson County Sheriff’s Office at 10:13 a.m. but did not receive an officer at her home until 3:29 p.m., according to WTVF.
“I know but I don’t want to live,” Hale wrote to Patton after she tried comforting her. “I’m so sorry. I’m not trying to upset you or get attention. I just need to die.”
“After phone calls from friends and Audrey’s name was released as the shooter at Covenant Nashville school, I learned that Audrey was the shooter and that she had reached out to me prior to the shooting,” Patton told the outlet.
“My heart is with all of the families affected and I’m devastated by what has happened,” she said. (Western Journal) Read more here.

Trans Activists Called for ‘Day Of Vengeance’ Before Shooting of Christian School

On Monday, 28-year-old Audrey Elizabeth Hale, a biological woman who identified as transgender, murdered six people, including three children, at The Covenant School, a private Christian grade school in Tennessee.
This deadly attack was carried out the same week as a planned “Day of Vengeance” by transgender activists later this week.

The website of the Trans Radical Activist Network (TRAN), declares, “Like the Stonewall Riots the gays and lesbians were experiencing what the trans community is facing now. This cycle of hate needs to end in fact it must. Allies, siblings we need you now more than ever. ‘I was a radical revolutionist. I still am a revolutionist…I am glad I was in the Stonewall Riot. I remember when someone threw a Molotov cocktail, I thought, ‘My god, the revolution is here. The revolution is finally here?’ —Sylvia Rivera.”
Currently, there is no known connection between the shooter and the group. On Monday, Nashville Chief of Police John Drake was asked whether Hale identifying as transgender played a role in her targeting the school, and he would not confirm this but indicated that it was a working theory and said it would be discussed at a later date.
The primary Day of Vengeance event is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Supreme Court in D.C., with additional events planned for March 31. LGBTQ activists specifically targeted Justice Brett Kavanaugh, who was previously the target of an assassination attempt by a far-left activist last year.
The group purports to seek revenge for what they term “trans genocide,” a conspiracy theory that claims that transgender people are systemically targeted with violence. However, an examination of FBI statistics by the Daily Wire shows no proof to corroborate this claim. In 2021, only two of the 271 recorded hate crimes against transgender individuals resulted in murder. These figures are substantially lower than those of other groups and insufficient to substantiate allegations of “trans genocide.”
There is currently no indication that the planned “Day of Vengeance” has been canceled. However, in the wake of Monday’s shooting, various social media accounts connected to the group have been made private.

The first stones at Stonehenge were emplaced in southern England about 5,000 years ago, and the monument was constructed in stages over roughly 1,000 years. But researchers have debated its purpose for centuries. The new study, published March 23 in the journal Antiquity(opens in new tab), disputes claims made last year that it functioned as a solar calendar with 356.25 days — almost exactly the measurement used for the solar calendar today, according to that study's author, Timothy Darvill(opens in new tab), a professor of archaeology and Stonehenge expert at Bournemouth University in the U.K.
Darvill's interpretation has been rejected by two scientists — mathematician Giulio Magli(opens in new tab) of the Polytechnic of Milan and astronomer Juan Antonio Belmonte(opens in new tab) of the Institute of Astrophysics of the Canary Islands — who say Stonehenge wasn't accurate enough to serve as a solar calendar. 11-Year-Old Describes Miraculous Healing at Asbury Revival: 'A Genuine Touch from the Lord'

When the Asbury University revival broke out, thousands of people from all ages flocked to Kentucky to join in the mighty move of God. Among them was an 11-year-old girl from Virginia named Helen White who recently shared with CBN News her testimony of experiencing a miraculous healing during the revival. "It was the best night of my life, I loved it," described Helen. "I pray every night and thank the Lord that I got to go." When the White family heard about the revival at Asbury University, they canceled their weekend plans, loaded up their RV, and drove about 10 hours to Kentucky to witness the move of the Holy Spirit for themselves. Helen said she watched the livestream for a few days leading up to the family's trip and begged her parents every day to take her and her three younger siblings. "It was beautiful, it was so simple, such simple worship, but it felt so holy," said Helen.
While there, Helen says God miraculously healed her from celiac disease and Eosinophilic Esophagitis, or EoE. "This one guy, he prayed for me of my EoE, and I just felt this tingling in my hands and my feet and my whole body and I actually was healed," recalled Helen. Helen's mom, Christina, joined in the prayer for her daughter's healing. "I was just praying quietly and watching her interact with this prayer minister and she's saying, 'My hands are tingling. Okay now I feel it to my elbows,' and we would thank God and keep praying, then she said my whole body feels like it's electric," said Christina. "I don't have to know what was happening in that moment because I know God was there, I know that was a touch from the Spirit and I know that He is moving." Read More
