Congresswoman: FBI ‘Afraid’ Informant Could be Killed over Information He has on Biden Family
|
|
A Republican member of the House Oversight Committee made a chilling claim regarding an FBI informant who claims to have damning information on Joe Biden and his family’s involvement in a bribery scheme while he was Vice President.
As reported by Fox News, Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) tweeted, after leaving a “meeting for House Oversight,” that “the [FBI] is afraid their informant will be killed if unmasked, based on the info he has brought forward about the Biden family.”
The informant in question first approached Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Congressman James Comer (R-Ky.), chairman of the Oversight Committee, last month with his claims that then-Vice President Joe Biden was involved in a bribery scheme to directly change U.S. foreign policy in exchange for $5 million from an unidentified foreign country. His claims were documented in an FD-1023 form, which was filed on June 30th, 2020.
The source has since been described as a “highly credible” FBI source who has been used in numerous FBI investigations dating back to the Obama Administration, as well as a “pre-existing” source who has been involved in separate matters unrelated to Biden.
“We are going to be bringing the FBI Director in before Congress for contempt of Congress proceedings as he is still conniving to shelter the Biden administration from its own sickening corruption,” Congresswoman Luna confirmed in an interview. (American Greatness) Read more here.

Biden’s Pick for NIH Director Has Deep Ties to Big Pharma
|

Dr. Monica Bertagnolli, Joe Biden’s choice to lead the National Institutes of Health (NIH), has deep ties to big pharma, reportedly receiving over $290 million in research funding from Pfizer over her career as an oncologist and scientist. If confirmed, Bertagnolli, currently the director of the National Cancer Institute, would replace Dr. Lawrence Tabak, DDS, Ph.D., NIH’s interim director. The NIH has a $47 billion budget that encompasses “a wide variety of medical research beyond cancer, including infectious diseases, heart disease, Alzheimer’s and other brain disorders, diabetes, drug addiction and mental health,” according to the Associated Press.
Bertagnolli received $290.8 million in research funding from Pfizer over her career as an oncologist and scientist,” according to data uncovered by The Heritage Foundation. Bertagnolli has also received $17.4 million in grant funding from Janssen Research & Development LLC, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, independent journalist Jordan Schachtel reported.
In a series of tweets, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Children’s Health Defense founder and Democrat candidate for president in 2024, criticized Bertagnolli’s nomination, pointing out that “The White House left the Pfizer connection out of its announcement of the nomination. Does this mean Dr. Bertagnolli is personally corrupt? Not at all. But it does mean that she will probably represent the viewpoints and priorities of the pharmaceutical industry. That is how agencies are captured,” Kennedy wrote.
Dr. Bob Gill, a general practitioner in England’s National Health Service, told British actor/comedian/ political pundit Russell Brand in a recent interview that Bertagnolli’s nomination is “a very big problem,” that “doesn’t bode well.” “The NIH should be acting in the public interest, but when you have people heavily sponsored or funded by private business and drug companies, well that raises the obvious question of conflicts of interest,” Gill, added.

Security Footage from J6 Confirms Over 300 Protesters Entered Capitol Through Open Door
|
|
Newly-released security footage from the protests on January 6th, 2021 reveal that as many as 300 protesters were allowed to enter the U.S. Capitol through a door that was unguarded and left open on the building’s West side.
According to Just The News, which has been given access to the footage in question by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), the footage shows that, at around 2:30 PM EST, Capitol Police clearly ushered protesters into the building and through the Upper West Terrace hallway, towards a door that was marked as a fire evacuation door that would activate an alarm and unlock all doors throughout the building.
“Emergency exit only,” the sign on the door read, saying to “push until alarm sounds” and that the “doors will unlock in 10 seconds.” The doors appeared to open from the inside, allowing 309 protesters to pass through it over the course of the next 20 minutes. This particular incident, one of several breaches in the building on that day, is barely referenced in the Capitol Police’s official report, which simply notes that, at 2:34 PM, the “Upper West Terrace is breached.”
Senator RonJohnson (R-Wisc.) said that this footage revealed a genuine security failure on the part of Capitol Police which was never addressed by the one-sided January 6th Committee run by former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) in the previous Congress. “Some people did enter the Capitol, not by committing acts of violence, but were literally let in,” said Johnson upon seeing the footage.
FBI whistleblower Steve Friend said that the new footage could prove to be valuable to January 6th defendants who are currently seeking appeal. "I think it’s sort of a game changer,” said Friend. “I mean, here, they didn’t even position authority figures there who would admonish folks not to use that door. And that’s the Capitol, the people’s house. And I think there was a general sentiment among people there who even might have thought that it was more of just a regular tour of the building.”
Congressman Troy Nehls (R-Texas), a former sheriff himself, said that the footage was proof that Pelosi and the Democrats “picked and chose what they wanted to expose during that sham committee. They got people screaming, and they found the worst 10 minutes inside the Capitol,” Nehls continued. “But when you truly see the video, there are hours and hours of no violence, non-violent protesters just walking around inside the Capitol, waving their flags, singing God Bless America.” (American Greatness) Read more here.

White House Says DOJ to Challenge State Laws That Block Transgender Treatments for Kids
|

|
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre says the Biden administration can and will use the Department of Justice to fight state laws that “target” transgender kids.
“This year alone, more than 600 anti-LGBTQI bills have been filed in statehouses across the country, and a significant portion of those bills target transgender youth,” she said Friday. “As President Biden says, these young people are some of the bravest people he knows, but no one should have to be brave to be themselves.”
She went on to say that the Biden administration is taking more steps to advance equality for the LGBTQ community and protect their civil rights.
“DOJ is actively supporting challenges to state laws that target transgender kids,” she continued. “In light of the Dobbs decision, he took action to protect marriage equality by signing into law the Respect for Marriage Act and he continues to call on Congress to pass the Equality Act to enshrine civil rights protections for LGBTQI+ Americans in federal law.”
Several states, including Texas and North Dakota, have taken action at the local level and banned transgender surgery for minors.
Jean-Pierre, who is a lesbian, said that this year has been a hard year for the LGBTQ community. “This year has been really scary for our community,” she said, adding that “people are being treated, threatened, intimidated and targeted for who they are and who they love.” (The Washington Standard) Read more here.

1. Iran unveils its first hypersonic missile - JNS
Iran on Tuesday revealed what it claimed was the regime’s first hypersonic missile, according to official Iranian media.
The “Fattah” missile was presented at a morning ceremony attended by Iranian President Ebrahim Rahisi, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Commander-in-Chief Maj. Gen. Hossein Salami and other top officials, IRNA reported.
The missile has a range of 1,400 kilometers (870 miles) and a maximum speed of Mach 13-15, according to the report.
“This missile targets the enemy’s anti-missile systems and is a big generational leap in the missile field,” said Amir Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the IRGC’s Aerospace Force.
In November, Hajizadeh claimed that Tehran had developed a hypersonic missile that could reach Israel in 400 seconds (just under 7 minutes). Iran’s Sobh-e-Sadegh newspaper published the threat in Hebrew on its front page. (Read more)

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Tuesday threatened to bomb Hezbollah and Lebanon "into the stone age," if the terror group "makes a mistake" and "starts a war against Israel."
During a visit to the IDF’s Northern Command, he said, “I hear our enemies boasting about weapons they are developing. For any such development, we have an even better response - by air, by sea and on land and through other means of attack and defense."
The defense minister was visiting the North within the framework of the two-week-long “Firm Hand” military exercise. During the visit, Minister Gallant held a situation assessment together with senior IDF officials. (Read more)

3. Israel's Netanyahu, Egypt's Sisi hold phone call after deadly border incident - i24News
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi held a phone call on Tuesday following the deadly border security incident, agreeing to work together in a "joint investigation."
The Egyptian leader expressed his condolences for the death of the three soldiers killed by an Egyptian border policeman on Saturday.
Netanyahu thanked al-Sisi for the condolences and for Egypt’s “commitment to an exhaustive and joint investigation of the incident.” The two also “expressed their commitment to further strengthening peace and security cooperation,” and said it was “vital” to both countries .(Read more)

4. MK Sukkot at scene of attack: The checkpoints must be returned - Israel National News
MK Tzvi Sukkot (Religious Zionist Party) on Tuesday evening visited the scene of the attack in Huwara, in which an Israeli was lightly injured after terrorists fired more than 10 bullets towards his car.
Speaking while standing next to the vehicle which was attacked, he said, “I was making my way home from the Knesset, when I heard on the radio the report about the shooting attack. I came here…this vehicle was hit. A dozen bullets were fired at it. Miraculously, it ended without any deaths.”
“This has to stop today. The checkpoints must be returned. This is [a matter of] pikuach nefesh (preservation of human life). The person who sat in this vehicle was almost murdered. This cannot continue. The checkpoints must be returned, plus a wide scale operation in northern Samaria. We will do everything to make sure that happens,” stated Sukkot. (Read more)

Scores of religious leaders representing the world’s major faiths gathered in Jerusalem on Tuesday, seeking to promote dialogue and cooperation in the Holy Land.
The morning-long session at the Religious Leaders Unite for Peace conference brought together Christian, Muslim, Jewish and other spiritual leaders in Israel’s capital. It was organized by the Republic of Kazakhstan, which has hosted such conferences in Astana every three years over the last two decades.

1. Biden Cuts Off Health Care to Poor Women in Tennessee Because It Protects Babies From Abortions - Life News
Joe Biden is playing politics with impoverished women’s lives by denying health care funding to pro-life states because they protect unborn babies from abortion.
Biden and Democrats frequently accuse pro-life Republicans of not doing enough to expand health care access. But new reports reveal that the Democrat leader actually is the one cutting off critical medical services to low-income individuals — including birth control and other family planning.
First Texas, then Oklahoma, and now Tennessee all have been denied millions of dollars in federal funding to provide Medicaid or Title X family planning services.
And the only reason appears to be that the states ban elective abortions, which federal tax dollars are not supposed to fund anyway.

2. A Utah school district has removed the Bible from some schools' shelves - NPR
Frustrated with book challenges and bans in their school district, a parent in Utah decided to submit a complaint of their own — about the Bible.
The Davis School District took the parent's objection seriously, placing the Bible under review. This week, the district officially decided to remove the religious text from elementary and middle school libraries for containing "vulgarity or violence." The ban will take effect immediately, with Bibles being removed from classrooms even as they close down for the summer.
The parent's complaint, which gained national attention when it was reported in March, cites Utah's 2022 law banning any books containing "pornographic or indecent" material. The statement calls the Bible "one of the most sex-ridden books around," and includes an attachment of passages from the Bible they believe violate the law. (Read more)

3. Matt Walsh’s ‘What Is a Woman?’ hits 165.4 million views on Twitter - Life Site
After a chaotic day and a half of suppression and free speech victories, the groundbreaking What Is a Woman? documentary has reached over 165 million views (Sunday 7 p.m.) on Twitter. Numbers will continue to rise as the Daily Wire has left the film free to view on the platform over the weekend.
Matt Walsh, Daily Wire podcaster and star of the film, shared on Saturday morning that in addition to 110 million views, the movie had “120 thousand retweets,” figures he described as “incredible.”
The milestone came hours after Daily Wire’s Friday night update, which shared that the film had “amassed over 78 million views” in just 24 hours. With this number, the outlet “decided to leave it up the rest of the weekend, so the sky’s the limit.” (Read more)

4. Texas becomes largest state to ban sex-change surgeries, puberty blockers for minors - Christian Post
Gov. Greg Abbott of Texas signed a bill into law Friday that bans sex-change surgeries and hormonal interventions aimed at transitioning minors with gender dysphoria, as the Lone Star State joins more than a dozen others to pass similar legislation.
Senate Bill 14, which goes into effect on Sept. 1, prohibits medical interventions such as puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgeries like double mastectomy for female-born minors identifying as male. It also forbids the use of state funds for such procedures in children.
The law stipulates that the procedures are prohibited "for the purpose of transitioning a child's biological sex as determined by the sex organs, chromosomes, and endogenous profiles of the child or affirming the child's perception of the child's sex if that perception is inconsistent with the child's biological sex." 5. WHO, EU announce partnership creating ‘global system’ of digital vaccine passports - Life Site
The World Health Organization and the European Union announced their collaboration on global digital vaccine passports at a joint press conference in Geneva on June 5.
“In June 2023, WHO will take up the European Union (EU) system of digital COVID-19 certification to establish a global system that will help facilitate global mobility and protect citizens across the world from on-going and future health threats, including pandemics,” the WHO press release states.
“This is the first building block of the WHO Global Digital Health Certification Network (GDHCN) that will develop a wide range of digital products to deliver better health for all.” The WHO has stated that they will use the “EU Digital COVID Certificate” as a model to establish a global digital health certificate. 6. Deadly bacteria that kills up to 50% of patients now ENDEMIC to US gulf coast, - The Daily Mail
A deadly bacteria that kills up to 50 percent of people it infects has now been listed as endemic along the US gulf coast. Dr Julia Petras, an epidemiologist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) who made the warning, said Burkholderia pseudomallei was now likely lurking in soil and stagnant water across the 1,600 miles from Texas to Florida.
People infected with the bacteria suffer melioidosis, a severe condition that can trigger pneumonia and sepsis and can be fatal.
Doctors are now on alert for the disease, which can initially be misdiagnosed as another infection. The CDC declaration comes less than a year after it was detected in the US for the first time in soil from the Mississippi coast. (Read more)

7. Migrants Attempt Border Rush at Texas Port of Entry - Brietbart
A group of migrants attempted to force their way into the United States by rushing a CBP official port of entry. The action by the migrants forced federal authorities to close down the international port of entry.
The incident took place on Monday afternoon in Brownsville, Texas, at the Gateway International Bridge. According to information provided to Breitbart Texas by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, at about 4:15 p.m. groups of migrants began congregating in the vicinity of the bridge.
“CBP continuously evaluates its operational posture to determine if additional reductions in processing and operations are necessary, and will communicate additional changes to the public as they occur,” a statement from CBP revealed. (Read more)

8. US judge blocks Florida ban on trans minor care in narrow ruling, says ‘gender identity is real’ - AP News
A federal judge temporarily blocked portions of a new Florida law championed by Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis that bans transgender minors from receiving puberty blockers, saying in a Tuesday ruling that gender identity is real and the state has no rational basis for denying patients treatment.
Judge Robert Hinkle issued a preliminary injunction, saying three transgender children can continue receiving treatment. The lawsuit challenges the law DeSantis signed shortly before he announced a run for president.
“Gender identity is real. The record makes this clear,” Hinkle said, adding that even a witness for the state agreed. Transgender medical treatment for minors is increasingly under attack in many states and has been subject to restrictions or outright bans. But it has been available in the United States for more than a decade and is endorsed by major medical associations. (Read more)

Leave Our Children Alone

As Americans are forced to “celebrate” all things queer, the country should consider the rainbow-colored elephant in the room. The LGBTQ+++ agenda is directly aimed at evangelizing, grooming and recruiting children. From drag queen story hours for pre-school and elementary to anti-bullying classes in schools to sexual education to diversity and inclusion requirements, the target is children. In any other time in history, this type of activity would be considered a sexual offense against minors and prosecuted as such. Today, however, and especially this month of June, the government, corporations and the mainstream media are promoting the broadening spectrum of sexual deviancy for children. Here’s the proof.
On June 2, White House Press Secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, a lesbian, opened the daily briefing with a monologue on how the Biden Administration is supporting targeting children with the LGBTQ+++ agenda. She said, “Now, yesterday, as you all know, marked the first day of Pride Month. New York Mayor Suggests Residents Let Illegal Aliens Into Their Homes

As the city of New York continues to experience a flood of illegal aliens on a weekly basis, Mayor Eric Adams (D-N.Y.) has suggested that citizens should open up their homes to illegals in order to mitigate the overflow of illegals who have already filled up most shelters and makeshift shelters.
Breitbart reports that over 72,000 illegals have come to New York City since the spring of 2022. Of those 72,000, roughly 37,500 are still in the city’s public shelter system, with shelters becoming so overrun that the city has been forced to convert hotels, schools, and other public spaces into additional illegal shelters. On Monday, Adams announced that another 1,000 illegals will be given housing across 50 different churches and faith-based facilities.
“It is my vision to take the next step to this faith-based locales and then move to private residences,” Adams said in his remarks. “There are residents who are suffering right now because of economic challenges; they have spare rooms, they have locales, and if we can find a way…we can take that $4.2 billion, $4.3 billion maybe, now, that we potentially have to spend, and we can put it back into the pockets of everyday New Yorkers.” (American Greatness) Read more here.

10 Things for Christians to Remember during Pride Month

We all know it’s coming and in various ways we are bracing for it. You’ll be navigating workplaces, city streets, social media feeds, and corporate events celebrating it. The first thing to understand is that “Pride month” does not mean the same thing to everyone.
For many, Pride month is seen as a month of inclusivity and tolerance where people are seen and reminded that they matter. In significant ways, these are values that Christians share. But there’s so much more to it.
The message of Pride is not that you matter because you are created in the image of God, a message Christians not only agree with but started. No, Pride is a declaration of independence against nature and nature’s God. It is a claim that we can do whatever we want and no one can stop us. Live your truth. Live authentically.
In addition, for many, the symbolism has come to represent oppression, intolerance, and hate. The rainbow flag, which has now become much more than a rainbow, represents a movement that is pushing speech codes, that has closed businesses, and harassed people because they did not share a commitment to the sexual revolution or would not affirm that men can become women and get pregnant.
But let’s not get angry or panic. How do we think soberly, act biblically, and maintain our joy as we wade through this month-long celebration of sin?
Here are a few things to remember.

Louisiana Senate Resuscitates Stop Harming Our Kids Act

The Louisiana Senate on Friday resuscitated the Stop Harming Our Kids Act (HB 648), after the Senate Health and Welfare Committee killed it in a Wednesday vote. After another committee gave the bill a green light, the entire Senate approved the bill 29-10 on Monday. Buoyed by constituent support, the bill now faces a final dash to the finish before the state legislature adjourns sine die on Thursday of this week.
Advocates for protecting minors from harmful gender transition procedures were “extremely disappointed” last week, Louisiana Family Forum President Gene Mills told The Washington Stand, when Senator Fred Mills (R), chairman of the Health and Welfare Committee, sided with Democrats in a 5-4 vote to bury the bill after heavy lobbying from Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards (D).
The apparent act of “legicide” created a “huge uproar, both within Louisiana and nationally,” Mills said in a comment to TWS, with hundreds of constituents contacting their representatives to express their support for the bill.
In response, the Senate voted 26-12 to discharge the bill from the Health and Welfare Committee and reassign it to the Judiciary A Committee — employing a rarely-used maneuver found in the Senate rules. The Judiciary Committee “very quickly came to a decision on the bill and passed it on to the Senate floor for a vote,” said Mills. Judiciary Committee Chairman Barrow Peacock (R) said members had received over 1,000 emails supportive of HB 648 in less than 24 hours while it was assigned to the new committee.
“What we’ve seen happen is that the entire Senate body has responded to the calls that people have made,” summarized Family Research Council President Tony Perkins on “Washington Watch.” “The committee has … basically been stripped of jurisdiction on this. And it’s gone to another committee.”
“Both the Speaker of the House and the Senate President have assisted us in getting the bill this far,” Mills told Perkins. “And we feel optimistic that we have the vote on the floor.” (The Washington Stand) Read more here.

Review Board: NASA-JPL Psyche Progress Outstanding, Launch on Track

Steps taken by NASA, the agency’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Southern California, and Caltech, to put the Psyche mission on track for an October 2023 launch have been outstanding, according to an independently appointed review board. NASA and JPL convened the board last summer after the Psyche mission team requested to delay the spacecraft’s August 2022 launch to a metal-rich asteroid of the same name.
In its November 2022 report, the independent review board made extensive recommendations to address both project and JPL institutional issues that contributed to the launch delay. After thorough follow-up reviews with the Psyche project, JPL, and Caltech, the board’s May 30 report finds the actions taken since November exceeded expectations. Caltech manages JPL for NASA.
“I am pleased with the independent review board’s resoundingly positive assessment of JPL’s hard work in correcting the issues outlined in the board’s original report,” said Nicola Fox, associate administrator of NASA’s Science Mission Directorate in Washington. “We know the work is not over. As we move forward, we will work with JPL to ensure these implemented changes continue to be prioritized to position Psyche and the other missions in JPL’s portfolio for success.”
Led by retired aerospace executive A. Thomas Young, the Psyche independent review board concluded in its initial report that while JPL workforce issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic contributed to the launch delay, additional factors, ranging from staffing to communication to management oversight, contributed as well. Seoul stadium overflows for 50th anniversary of Billy Graham's historic Korea crusade

A crowd of about 70,000 people overflowed the Seoul World Cup Stadium on Saturday as Franklin Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, gave a passionate sermon on the 50th anniversary of his father Billy Graham’s historic outreach in Seoul. Graham’s address occurred on a significant day, mirroring an event that drew 1.1 million people to Yoido Plaza on June 3, 1973. Known as Billy Graham’s largest crusade, attendees predominantly made the journey on foot, showing an extraordinary devotion and eagerness to engage with the spiritual message.
The Korean churches and Dr. Billy Kim, the pastor who translated for Billy Graham during the original 1973 outreach, extended the invitation to Franklin Graham. The event sought to offer solace and inspiration, echoing the profound effect of the original gathering. “Korea has changed so much in 50 years. The world has changed, but God’s love for you has not changed,” Franklin Graham told the crowd. “God made you, He created you, and He loves you. He sent His Son Jesus Christ to save you from your sins.
