"Decreeing the Word of God Over the News of the Day"

United We Stand                      Wednesday, June 26, 2024
The recording of Monday's weekly call is now available. You can access this recording by going here.

Our speakers were Ed Morris and Pastor Jeff Daly, with news of a call to repentance in the State of Tennessee. (See below)

Thank you for listening to this recording, at your convenience.
A note of apology from Sara Ballenger:

During our call on Monday night, I muted our recording in order to offer prayer over a very sensitive issue. Today, in this public platform, I am still not free to share the details of that message, but I do want to repent to all of you that, in sharing this topic, I totally forgot to put "first things first": FORGIVENESS.

When addressing an "enemy," Abba is very clear that, before doing so, we must first forgive the other one, for he or she does not know what they are doing. (Luke 23:34)

So, I now publicly REPENT that, in the heat of the moment, I totally forgot to put first things first, and to ask our Lord to forgive any and all enemies, for they know not what they do.

Thank You, O Lord, for hearing and receiving my prayer; and we pray for the lost that they may be found.

In Your love, Messiah,

Amen and amen

NY Judge Partially Lifts Trump Gag Order, Sets Timeline for Expiration

New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan terminated parts of former President Donald Trump’s gag order on June 25, adding that the rest will expire once sentencing is complete.

The judge broke the original gag order down into three categories: statements about witnesses; statements about court staff and counsel, and later extended it to include family members of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and Justice Merchan, but not the judge and district attorney themselves; and statements about jurors.

“Circumstances have now changed. The trial portion of these proceedings ended when the verdict was rendered, and the jury discharged,” Judge Merchan wrote. He terminated the order as it applies to witnesses and jurors.

Jurors were told, after they delivered the verdict on May 30, that they were no longer under orders to not discuss the case, and were free to speak about it as they wished.

Judge Merchan added that it was his “strong preference” to extend the order as it applied to jurors but ruled that the appellate court decision had upheld the original gag order, which applied to the trial, and therefore the order “must be terminated.”

He added in his order that his March 7 protective order barring parties from releasing the identities of individual jurors “will remain in effect until further order of this Court.” (Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Lord God, we continue to lift up this hostile matter to you not just for the sake of Donald Trump, but for the sake of our Constitution and the fabric of our republic that has been torn every day by these court cases. We need a miracle in this area, Lord God. We continue to decree and declare that the devil cannot have this nation, cannot have this next election, and that your will would be done through it all. In Jesus' name, amen.

- “Arise, LORD! Deliver me, my God! Strike all my enemies on the jaw; break the teeth of the wicked.” (Psalm 3:7)

Minnesota's Rapidan Dam collapses - sending river of water toward town

A dam in south central Minnesota failed Monday morning - spurring fears of flooding for nearby residents.

Citizens in low-lying areas of the Minnesota River Valley have now been told to evacuate - as officials continue to monitor whether the Rapidan Dam will fully give in.

The structure is located on the Blue Earth River, where it's been for the past 114 years.

Debris started accumulating there Sunday after abnormally high rates of rainfall, placing it 'in imminent failure condition.'

By 10:36 am, the river had eroded earth around the west side of the dam near the south side of Mankato to the point where water was sent cascading over the concrete, with accumulating flooding now putting the city of 45,140 at risk.

in their own statement, the National Weather Service described how the failure is set to cause the portion of river that cuts through Mankato to crest just below major flood state Tuesday morning.

Twenty other cities - such as Fairmont - also sit in the flash flood radius, as water has already washed out a large portion of the dam, which for years has warranted questions about its structural integrity. (MSN.com) Read more here.

- Lord God, we cover this situation in the blood of Jesus, that no harm would be done to local residences or their property. Lord, we pray that you would help local officials and authorities get control of this situation and all that was lost would be restored. In Jesus' name, amen.

- "For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." (Isaiah 41:13)

Gen. Charles Brown says US will not assist Israel in fighting Hezbollah
Gen. Brown asked Israel to think of how a war would affect the region, as well as the impact it would have on US forces.

Joint Chiefs of Staff head Charles Q. Brown warned on Monday that the US may not be able to help defend Israel against an all-out war with Hezbollah in the same way that it stepped in during the Iran drone attack in April.

Brown, a US Air Force general, also said that Iran “would be more inclined to support Hezbollah."

While the Islamic Republic supports Hamas, General Brown said that Tehran would stand more firmly behind Hezbollah, “particularly if they felt that Hezbollah was being significantly threatened.”

Brown also said that any Israeli military offensive into Lebanon could risk triggering a broader war, putting US forces in danger.

Risk of escalation

In the event of war, Brown said the US would likely not be able to provide the same assistance as it did when Iran carried out a missile and drone attack on Israel earlier this year. He also said it was hard to fend off the shorter-range rockets that Hezbollah fires across the border into Israel. (Jerusalem Times) Read more here.

- Lord God, we pray over the Biden administration that they would remember their allies and remember those whom we have vowed to help. Help this administration be people of their word and to stand by Israel and Netanyahu. We come against all bribery, lies, and deceit that could be used to try to manipulate and control the situation, in Jesus name. Lord give Biden wisdom and discernment to do what’s best for our nation and Israel, in Jesus name. Amen.

- “So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.”   (James 4:17)

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. 'Middle East preparing for war': Arab states anticipate coming escalation, fmr. IDF officer says - Jerusalem Post

Col. (res.) Alon Eviatar was interviewed this past Sunday on 103FM to address the IDF's ongoing battle against Hamas in Gaza and the potential for an all out war with Hezbollah in Lebanon.

"I think Hamas is marking several important events in the coming days or weeks. The most important thing, above all tactical events and eliminations, is that I think Hamas is aiming to reach a state of real war between Israel and Hezbollah," Eviatar stated.

"The Middle East is preparing for war. From Hamas's perspective, this is what will get it out of its situation in Gaza. From Hamas's point of view, a war with Hezbollah will end the IDF's military action in Gaza on Hamas's terms. For Hamas, a war with Hezbollah would flank Israel from the North as well," he added. (Read more)

2. IDF eliminates senior Islamic Jihad terrorist in Gaza - Israel National News

An IAF aircraft, directed by IDF intelligence, on Tuesday struck and eliminated the terrorist Fadi Al-Wadiya, who served as a significant operative in the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization.

"As part of his role, Fadi Al-Wadiya developed and advanced the terrorist organization's rocket array and was a central figure in the terrorist organization's knowledge of electronics and chemistry," the IDF Spokesperson's Unit said.

On Monday, IAF aircraft guided by military and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) intelligence struck two buildings in Al-Shati and Tuffah in northern Gaza, which served the Hamas terror group.

The terrorists who were in the buildings were involved in planning many terror attacks against Israel, and some of them were involved in holding hostages and took part in the October 7 massacre. The IDF noted that the buildings are part of a school compound which Hamas used as a shield for its terror activities. (Read more)

3. Benny Gantz: Israel can destroy Hezbollah’s military in days - Jerusalem Post

The IDF can destroy Hezbollah’s military capabilities in a matter of days, National Unity Party leader Benny Gantz said on Tuesday.

Speaking at the 21st Herzliya Conference at Reichman University, Gantz said a major challenge for Israel is to “return the southern and northern residents back to their homes, even at the price of escalation.”

He said he heard the reports about the Hezbollah threat to bring down Israel’s electrical grid, and responded, “We can bring Lebanon completely into the dark, and take apart Hezbollah’s power in days.” (Read more)

4. Flames in the Galilee After Hezbollah Attacks - Jewish Press

The area around the Galilee community of Moshav Dishon went up in flames on Tuesday afternoon after Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon launched two explosive suicide drones at the area.

Although both of the drones were shot down, the falling shrapnel from the interceptions touched off flames in the area.

Dishon is located near the border with Lebanon within the Naftali Mountains near the Dishon Stream, and has been a frequent target for Hezbollah attacks.

Five firefighting teams from the Galilee-Golan station, under the command of Rabbi Reshef Shimon Ohayon, are at the site battling the blaze. (Read more)

5. Paris Hotel Refuses to Serve Israeli Family as Antisemitism Continues to Spiral in France - Algemeiner

An Israeli family visiting Paris was denied service at a hotel after an attendant noticed their Israeli passports, continuing a record spike in antisemitism across France that has increasingly led to violence against the Jewish community.

According to the French magazine Le Point, the Israeli family of three intended to spend three nights in Paris. Although they had booked their Novotel Paris Porte de Versailles hotel room online, an attendant informed the family, after seeing their Israeli passports, that the price of the room had increased.

“He completely changed face,” the father said in a complaint to French authorities, according to the publication. (Read more)

1. Parts of Biden student loan forgiveness plan blocked by judges - Washington Examiner

Two federal judges blocked parts of President Joe Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan.
Federal judges in Missouri and Kansas ruled that the Saving on a Valuable Education program can’t be fully implemented. So far, debt for over 400,000 borrowers has been forgiven, at the amount of $5.5 billion.

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey, who put forward the challenge to SAVE, celebrated the move in a post on X. “BREAKING: The Court has granted our motion to BLOCK Joe Biden’s illegal student loan plan,” he said. “Congress never gave Biden the authority to saddle working Americans with half-a-trillion dollars in other people’s debt. A huge win for the Constitution.”

In Kansas, District Judge Daniel Crabtree ruled that Biden didn’t get sufficient approval from Congress for the move. And in Missouri, District Judge John Ross argued that forgiveness would illegally deprive state lenders of revenue. (Read more)

- Thank You Father for these leaders who are willing to take action against the unrighteous deeds of this administration and push back on their efforts to disregard our economic stability, in Jesus name.  We pray for more action to stop this freewheeling spending of our tax money to pamper  college graduates, keeping them dependent and looking for handouts rather than running headlong into society, working hard to make their way like everyone else.  Release righteousness, in Jesus name.

- "Oh that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men! Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, And declare His works with rejoicing."  (Psalm 107:21-22)

2. Biden Admin Weighed Using ‘School Children’ To Help Register Dem-Leaning Voters, Emails Show - The Daily Caller

The Biden administration sought taxpayer funding for a program that would use school children to provide voter registration materials to Native Americans, according to emails obtained by Protect the Public’s Trust and shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Department of the Interior (DOI) officials in 2022 developed a plan that would have given Native American children attending Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) schools voter registration materials to bring home to their parents, internal emails show. Native Americans strongly preferred Democratic House candidates that year, with 56% saying they would cast their ballot for a Democrat compared to the 40% who said they’d vote Republican, according to a poll conducted by the African American Research Collaborative shortly before the midterm elections.

Berg went into greater detail regarding the proposed voter registration operation, writingin March 2022 that he and his colleagues had “developed a plan to distribute voter registration applications at BIE schools so that school children [could] bring home voter registration applications to their parents and/or guardians.” (Read more)

- Holy King, thank You that a House investigation has begun to assess the constitutionality of this executive order tasking federal agencies to recruit and register voters. By no means should the federal government be engaging in such voting activities outside their well-defined purview.  We pray for righteousness to overwhelm devious deeds, in Jesus name.  We forgive Joe Biden for the many ways he works to advance his agenda, we pray for him to have a time with You, Father, where he is brought to his knees in repentance and that he turns to You and gets a new heart, in Jesus name.

- "But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth."  (James 3:14)

3. Temporary Election Worker for Maricopa County Arrested for Theft of Keys from Election Center - Breitbart

A temporary election worker for Maricopa County in Arizona was arrested after he allegedly stole items from an election center. Law enforcement officials revealed that 27-year-old Walter Ringfield was arrested on Friday after he reportedly stole a security fob and keys from the Maricopa County Tabulation and Election Center, according to KTAR News.

Ringfield, who was on probation for a previous felony, was booked into jail on charges of “theft and criminal damage,” according to the outlet. The Maricopa County Elections Department said in a statement to ABC15 that election workers who had been conducting “daily inventory” on Friday morning, realized that “an item” was missing “from the Ballot Tabulation Center and had been taken the night before.”

“On Friday morning, when completing a daily inventory, Maricopa County election workers identified that an item was taken from the Ballot Tabulation Center on Thursday evening,” the Maricopa County Election Department said. “Staff took immediate action to investigate the matter and contacted the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. The stolen item has been recovered but to ensure the integrity of the Maricopa County Elections, election workers are reprogramming and reconducting logic and accuracy testing of all equipment.” (Read more)

- Mighty King, we thank You that this theft was exposed and stopped, and we pray for righteousness in the reprogramming and accuracy of all equipment.  We have little confidence in Maricopa County elections, so we pray Holy Spirit that You invade the workers with Your light and surround the equipment with mighty angels who will fight for righteousness and integrity, in Jesus' holy name.  We also pray for all electronic voting machines to be removed from every state and election so that this entire nation can be assured of one person one vote for our President, in the name of Jesus.  Amen.

- "And let our people also learn to maintain good works, to meet urgent needs, that they may not be unfruitful."  (Titus 3:14)

4. Obama again stepping into role as Joe's closer ahead of Trump v Biden rematch - Fox News

Former President Obama is again stepping in to help lock up votes and dollars during the home stretch of President Biden's quest for the White House, apparently having ditched the concerns that reportedly made Obama wary of Biden's candidacy in 2020.

Biden's rematch with former President Trump features a second encore from Obama, whose celebrity and status with Democratic donors has been a financial and public relations boon to Biden at a time when the president is facing increasing questions about his record, plans and cognitive abilities.

"I take great pride in what the Biden administration has accomplished," Obama said during a recent event with Biden and late-night host Jimmy Kimmel at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. "And it’s a reminder that we don’t have to just vote against something in this election. We have somebody to worry about. And there’s a whole agenda that we should be concerned about." (Read more)

- Holy King, we strike this "whole agenda" to the ground in Jesus name and declare that none of it will ever again see the light of day because of the Holy Glory of Almighty God being released upon this nation in the Mighty Name of Jesus. We put Joe Biden, Barak Obama, and all the others working with them under the authority of Almighty God and declare that their agenda is finished and their plans to dismantle this Constitutional Republic and all for which it stands is finished and stopped by the blood and authority of Jesus Christ, the Messiah.  Amen.

- "But You have seen, for You observe trouble and grief, To repay it by Your hand. The helpless commits himself to You; You are the helper of the fatherless. Break the arm of the wicked and the evil man; Seek out his wickedness until You find none. The Lord is King forever and ever; . . . " (Psalm 10:14-16a)

5. Biden DOE Outsourcing Home Appliance Regulations to Left-Wing Green Groups - Free Beacon

Each time the Department of Energy (DOE) finalized regulations targeting popular home appliances—including stoves, clothes washers, refrigerators, and water heaters—over the last several months, the agency included a similar line in the announcement: The new rules were crafted with the help of recommendations from a "wide range of stakeholders."

According to the DOE, the stakeholders included industry partners and consumer advocacy organizations. A Washington Free Beacon review, however, shows 7 out of the 10 stakeholders whose recommendations DOE consulted are climate activist groups or left-leaning consumer groups. Those groups collectively boast substantial financial backing from grantmaking nonprofits that regularly funnel money to a wide range of progressive social and environmental initiatives.

Among the stakeholders are the Consumer Federation of America, Appliance Standards Awareness Project, American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy, Earthjustice, National Consumer Law Center, National Resources Defense Council, and Consumer Reports. Those groups have received millions of dollars from nonprofits such as the Bloomberg Family Foundation, TomKat Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, Hewlett Foundation, and Schmidt Family Foundation. (Read more)

- Holy One, we also stand against this tyrannical takeover of our homes and way of life in exchange for the climate change agenda with its spurious data.  Jesus, You have created us to be creators and inventors, following in Your "footsteps".  Our way of life is the result of people who chose to use their talents to make life better and easier; never being used to injure or restrict others.  We declare these controlling stakeholders will not be allowed to interfere in our homes, our civil and constitutional rights nor livelihoods in order to promote their own particular financial kingdoms, in Jesus name.  We also call for truth upon the climate change agenda, in Jesus name.

- "The earth is the Lord's , and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein.  For He has founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the waters."  (Psalm 24:1-2)

6. Julian Assange dropping $500K for flight to remote island to avoid setting foot on US mainland - New York Post

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange shelled out half a million dollars to fly to a remote island to avoid returning to the American mainland after accepting a plea deal with the US government and being freed from prison.

Assange, 52, was freed Monday morning from UK prison and flew from London Stansted Airport to the US territory of Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands — a $500,000 flight, according to reports. He will have a US federal court hearing Wednesday morning on the remote commonwealth island.

There, he will plead guilty to conspiracy to obtain and disclose national defense information for releasing classified reports on the US wars in Afghanistan and Iraq on his WikiLeaks site, the US Justice Department said in the court docs filed Monday. (Read more)

- Holy One, we thank You for making a way for Julian Assange to receive some sort of freedom in this matter.  We pray that during his lengthy time of isolation, he had the opportunity to meet You and become a follower, in Jesus name.  We pray for his life, and for God-ordained justice to protect and guide him.  We thank You for making it possible for him to have the financial resources needed to purchase this ticket and we pray that he has a decent life and can be joined with his family, who will all become followers of You, Jesus the Savior.  Amen.

- "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before,"  (Acts 3:19-20)

The Daily Jot

Illegal Immigration, Crime, And The Bible

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, June 25, 2024

It seems there is headline after headline about the rape, murder and other violent crimes perpetrated by illegal immigrants—not only in America, but in Europe as well. The Biden border security issue is a driving force in the presidential election campaign. In essence, there appears to be no border security. An April 2024 Department of Homeland Security (DHS) report estimates that during the two-year time frame from 2020-2022, the “unauthorized immigrant” population grew from 10.5 million to 11.6 million, but admits there is no accurate count available. Likewise, official up-to-date government statistics on illegal immigrant violent crime also are not available. So what is the truth?

First, there is a cost to each taxpayer for illegals entering the country. The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) estimates that there are over 3.000 illegal border crossings per day. FAIR estimates the illegal alien population much higher than DHS at 15.5-16.8 million. FAIR says “illegal aliens and their U.S.-born children impose a net annual cost of $150.6 billion on American taxpayers as of the beginning of 2023.” Biden’s “catch and release” policy has backlogged immigration court dockets, FAIR says, by 2.1 million, as 66% increase over the last year of the Trump administration, with thousands untraceable due to the policy. Tennessee Governor Bill Lee Calls for a Month Of Repentance

May this be an example to other States and other nations.

Repentance is God's Gift. Like prayer, fasting, worship, reading His Word, repentance is His Gift, close to His Precious Blood in importance. It's the only WAY into His Kingdom: "Repent, the kingdom of heaven is at hand." (Matthew 4:17; Mark 1:15).

Pride Month Goes Out with a Whimper
Pride Month Goes Out with a Whimper

It’s been a long time since Americans could sit back and actually enjoy the month of June. It was always an insufferable four weeks, breathing in the rainbow-saturated air that fell heaviest across our favorite sports, stores, shows, and social media. But the most remarkable thing about this year’s Pride Month may be just how unremarkable it was. Sure, there were still parades, over-the-top political pronouncements, and colorful flags billowing from too many government buildings, but the characteristic dread and fatigue from Pride is gone — replaced by a quiet confidence that maybe, just maybe, we’ve been heard.

For the conservatives in the movement fighting this battle the longest, 2024 didn’t just feel different. It was different. Heading into these final days of June, the biggest story across the mainstream media isn’t who’s celebrating Pride, but where did it go? The Associated PressNBC NewsVox, and others have talked to countless experts, who all have the same thing to say: Executives are too worried about rocking the consumer boat.

“They’ve been rattled,” Drexel University Marketing Professor Daniel Korschun insists of CEOs and other industry heads. “There’s been a definite scaling back in both big and small ways,” Joanna Schwartz, another professor at Georgia College & State University, agreed. “I had expected some brand caution, but this year seems [to be] a near full-scale retreat.”

For people whose livelihoods are actually tied to the LGBT activism that June represents, “bad” doesn’t begin to describe the year they’re having. For Tim Bennett, co-founder of a firm called Tribury that specializes in reaching gay- and trans-identifying audiences, business has been a bust. A lot fewer clients are “reaching out for Pride Month collaborations,” Bennett admitted to Vox. “In speaking with my peers,” he said, “most of us are experiencing the same pullback or wait-and-see approach.” Brand sponsorships are especially low.

Rob Smith, who sells gender-neutral clothing, told the AP that he’s seen a 25% drop in the number of stores carrying his line just over the last several months. That jives with what Alysse Dalessandro has experienced as an LGBTQ content creator. She went from 35 clients who hired her as a model for their Pride Month campaigns in 2022 to nine in 2023 — and just five this year. Even The Trevor Project, an extreme trans-affirming youth nonprofit, conceded to Marketing Brew that it’s seen “a decline in corporate giving in the last couple of years.” (The Washington Stand) Read the full article by going here.

- Oh HalleluJah Father! We rejoice to see the consequences that have come as a result of Christians and moral people taking their responsibilities to be involved, speak up, and not engage in the support of this cruel agenda, in Jesus name.  We praise You Jesus for igniting a fire in some few folks and then some many folks who are just righteously disgusted by the sexual immorality and perversion that this month and agenda represent and bless those who have been on the front lines over the last many years.  Their labor has borne fruit. May the body of Christ see what strength comes from taking action, in Jesus name.  We declare this entire gender agenda will completely collapse and that people will find their value and worth in salvation and knowing that God created every single person with His loving hands and breath, in Jesus name.

- "He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins."  (Colossians 1:14-15)

"having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it."  (Colossians 2:15)

And Now . . . Lion of Judah: ROAR!!!!
"The Lord shall go forth like a mighty man;
He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war.
He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud;
He shall prevail against His enemies."

(Isaiah 42:13)
Signs & Wonders
Why is this destructive flooding happening across the Midwest?

RAPIDAN TOWNSHIP, Minn. — Video shows the extent of the flooding as the Blue Earth River breached the Rapidan Dam Monday. Meanwhile, the National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for areas downstream Tuesday morning.

The failure is expected to cause the Minnesota River at Mankato to crest just below major flood state on Tuesday morning, the National Weather Service says. Downriver, Xcel Energy says it has been fortifying several other facilities with sandbags and barriers to protect them if the dam becomes comprised and reaches the substations.

Le Sueur County residents in low-lying areas of the Minnesota River Valley are advised to closely monitor the situation and potentially evacuate, according to the county's emergency management office.

The National Inventory of Dams rated the Rapidan Dam in poor condition.

Meanwhile, Iowa residents have needed rescue from record-setting flooding that has swamped parts of the state, covering buildings up to their rooftops, shutting down major roads, and disrupting basic services like electricity and drinking water.

Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds said water in some areas rose above records from 1993, a flood many in the Midwest remember as the worst of their lives. The floods have hit parts of Iowa, South Dakota, Nebraska and Minnesota.

The water was so powerful that it pulled down a train bridge connecting North Sioux City, South Dakota, with Sioux City, Iowa. The water is expected to be at its highest early this week — in some places it has already passed — and then the crest of the river will move south, eventually into the Missouri and Mississippi rivers. The Good News Corner
God opens doors for the Deaf in South Sudan
South Sudan (MNN) — In South Sudan, DOOR International is training local Deaf leaders to share the gospel and to plant Deaf churches.  Rob Myers with DOOR International is excited about what God has been doing among Deaf communities in South Sudan. “DOOR’s work in general really has two main emphases,” Myers says. “One of them is training local Deaf leaders to share the gospel—to disciple other Deaf people—and to plant Deaf churches. We call that our two-by-two program. And then right on the heels of that, and really key and integral to that too, is helping local communities do Bible translation in their own sign languages.”

One member of the Deaf community in South Sudan whose life was changed due to the work of DOOR is a man named Keij Worro.  Worro, originally from northern Sudan, fled south with his family when civil war broke out, in order to find a better life.  His family struggled, losing many family members due to illness and the war. But Worro especially struggled as his family knew almost no sign language and were unable to communicate with their Deaf son.  “And that is the case for too many Deaf people around the world,” Myers says. “They might not have access to a Deaf school. Their family doesn’t have resources. That is until Worro encountered a group of Deaf people conversing in sign language, including Morris Yanga, one of DOOR’s Deaf church planters in South Sudan. Though Worro was initially skeptical of the group, he was welcomed instantly.  “For many, many Deaf people that I talk to who come to Christ, really one of the first turning points is encountering another Deaf believer,” Myers says. (Mission Network News) Read More Here

- Father, we thank You for this amazing Ministry, with the focus of specifically training deaf Leaders to share the gospel with the hearing impaired and planting new churches for the deaf community! We ask for Your blessings upon these Christian Leaders as they disciple those with hearing impairments who would otherwise never know the gospel. May the Name of Jesus Christ be lifted high and miracles of 'hearing' both spiritually and physically fall upon every new believer as they encounter the LIVING CHRIST! By the blood and powerful Name of Yeshua- Amen and Amen.

- "And he said to them, 'Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation'". (Mark 16:15)
Thought for the Day
"There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God,
The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.
God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved;
God shall help her, just at the break of dawn."

(Psalm 46:4,5)
A Special Message
The Sinner's Prayer
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."

Scripture:Ever the silver cord be loosed…then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. Ecclesiastes 12:6–7

Lyrics:
Some day the silver cord will break,
And I no more as now shall sing;
But oh, the joy when I shall wake
Within the palace of the King!

Refrain
And I shall see Him face to face,
And tell the story—Saved by grace;
And I shall see Him face to face,
And tell the story—Saved by grace.

Some day my earthly house will fall.
I cannot tell how soon ’twill be;
But this I know—my All in All
Has now a place in Heav’n for me.

Refrain

Some day, when fades the golden sun
Beneath the rosy tinted west,
My blessèd Lord will say, Well done!
And I shall enter into rest.

Refrain

Some day: till then I’ll watch and wait,
My lamp all trimmed and burning bright,
That when my Savior opens the gate,
My soul to Him may take its flight.
