British submariner and equipment are assisting search efforts for missing sub

A British navy submariner and equipment from a UK firm will help the search for the missing Titan submersible, a Downing Street spokesperson said Thursday.

“At the request of US Coastguard, the UK has embedded a Royal Navy submariner to assist the search and rescue effort for the missing submarine," the spokesperson said, according to UK's PA Media on Thursday.

Lt. Commander Richard Kantharia "has significant knowledge of submarine warfare and dived operations and so he will obviously be bringing that experience to the search and rescue team," the spokesperson added.

The officer was on exchange with the US Navy and has been seconded to the search and rescue team, PA reported.

A British C-17 aircraft will transport “specialist commercial equipment” provided by deep sea-mapping company Magellan to St. John’s to assist with the search-and-rescue effort, PA also reported.

The missing submarine is carrying five people — a British adventurer, a French diver, a Pakistani father and son and the founder of OceanGate Expeditions, the company that operated the tour to the Titanic wreckage.

A massive search operation is underway in an area twice the size of Connecticut for the submersible that went missing Sunday —as officials fear the craft’s oxygen supply could run out this morning. (CNN) Read numerous articles by going here.

( A note from the editor: we normally do NOT run articles from CNN, but they do seem to have the most accurate information available regarding news of the status of this sub.)
- Lord God, at Your direction, we will not stop praying, believing for a good outcome on this story, until all the facts of the status of the five passengers aboard the Titan
have been confirmed. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers for their well being, in Your name we pray, amen and amen.

- "Pray without ceasing . . ." (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

Trump Responds to Charges Against Hunter Biden

Former President Donald Trump and other Republicans on June 20 denounced the criminal plea deal that federal authorities reached with President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden.

An attorney representing Hunter Biden said his client was taking responsibility for offenses that occurred while he struggled with drug addiction. Trump and others decried the agreement for letting Hunter Biden off easy.

In a post on his Truth Social platform on June 20, Trump said the Department of Justice gave the president’s son a free pass. “Wow! The corrupt Biden DOJ just cleared up hundreds of years of criminal liability by giving Hunter Biden a mere ‘traffic ticket.’ Our system is BROKEN!” Trump wrote. “People are going wild over the Hunter Biden Scam with the DOJ!”

Several prominent Republicans described the agreement with Biden’s son as a “sweetheart deal.” If a judge follows prosecutors ‘ recommendations, it may result in no jail time for Hunter Biden, 53.

The misdemeanor offenses involving tax filings and weapons violations would be minor when stacked against allegations concerning the Biden family’s multimillion-dollar dealings with foreign interests. Congressional probes into those allegations of influence peddling are continuing.

Under the headline, “President Trump Was Right,” the Trump campaign issued a statement showing that the former president recently predicted leniency for Hunter Biden. “They’ll hit Hunter with something small to make their strike on me look ‘fair,'” Trump said in a June 6 Truth Social post. (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Lord God, we do thank You for President Trump - a man who speaks truth at all costs. We now follow his lead in intercession, asking that Hunter Biden receive the full measure of justice for his past misdeeds. In Your Name, amen and amen.

- "The Lord ...  will not at all acquit the wicked." (Nahum 1:3)

GOP-Led House Censures Dem Schiff, Outspoken Trump Critic

The House voted Wednesday to censure California Rep. Adam Schiff for comments he made several years ago about investigations into Donald Trump's ties to Russia, rebuking the Democrat and frequent critic of the former president along party lines.

Schiff, who will stand in front of the House while the resolution is read, becomes the 25th House lawmaker to be censured. He was defiant ahead of the vote, saying he will wear the formal disapproval as a “badge of honor" and charged his GOP colleagues of doing the former president's bidding.

“I will not yield,” Schiff, who is running for the Senate in his home state, said during debate over the measure. “Not one inch.”

More than 20 Republicans voted with Democrats last week to block the censure resolution, but they changed their votes this week after the measure's sponsor, Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna of Florida, removed a provision that could have fined Schiff $16 million if the House Ethics Committee determined he lied. Several of the Republicans who opposed the resolution last week said they opposed fining a member of Congress in that manner.

The final vote was 213-209. The revised resolution says Schiff held positions of power during Trump’s presidency and “abused this trust by saying there was evidence of collusion between Trump’s campaign and Russia.” Schiff was one of the most outspoken critics of the former president as both the Justice Department and the Republican-led House launched investigations into Trump’s ties to Russia in 2017. Both investigations concluded that Russia intervened in the 2016 presidential election but neither found evidence of a criminal conspiracy.

“Representative Schiff purposely deceived his Committee, Congress, and the American people,” the resolution said. (Newsmax) Read more here.

- Father God, we thank You for this move by the House of Representatives which holds Rep. Adam Schiff accountable for his actions during the Trump administration. We ask that a system of justice, based upon truth, would be re-established in our nation, so that we might, once again, function as a people who live under the law. In Your Name, Holy One, we offer this prayer, amen and amen.

- "
But let justice run down like water,
And righteousness like a mighty stream."
(Amos 5:24)
FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. First time in years: Jenin terror cell eliminated in drone airstrike - Israel National News

The IDF and Shin Bet confirmed that for the first time in years, a terrorist cell was eliminated in an airstrike in Jenin.

A vehicle carrying a terrorist squad that was on its way to carry out a shooting attack was targeted using an unmanned aerial vehicle and eliminated. The terrorist squad was responsible for previous shooting attacks.

This is the second time an IDF aircraft has been used in Jenin this week. On Monday, an IAF attack helicopter was deployed to Jenin to assist in the extraction of wounded soldiers who had been ambushed by terrorists in the city. This was the first time an attack helicopter had been deployed in Judea and Samaria since 2002, during the height of the Second Intifada. (Read more)

2. Netanyahu Warns, ‘We Are a Nation of Laws’ - Jewish Press

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Wednesday the Israeli government “will not allow disturbances,” either on the Golan Heights or in Judea and Samaria.

“There are days when we must state what is self-evident: The State of Israel is a nation of laws. All citizens of Israel are obligated to obey the law. We will not allow disturbances either on the Golan Heights or in Judea and Samaria,” Netanyahu said in a statement released by his office.

I give full backing to the Israel Police and the security forces in their efforts to maintain law and order. We will not accept any provocations to the police or the security forces in these places or anywhere else. We are a nation of laws.” (Read more)

3. Following Samaria massacre, Israel to build 1,000 new homes in Eli - World Israel News

The Israeli government will fast-track approval for 1,000 new homes in the town of Eli in Samaria, in response to the deadly terrorist shooting attack which took place just outside the town Tuesday.

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich agreed to immediately advance plans for 1,000 new housing units in Eli.

“Our answer to terrorism is to strike at it forcefully and build up our country,” the three leaders said in a joint statement Wednesday afternoon.

Four Israeli Jews were murdered in Tuesday’s attack, which was carried out by two Palestinian Arab terrorists affiliated with Hamas– Mohannad Shahada and Khaled Saba. (Read more)

4. Hours after losing battle for Bar Association, Likud moves to void its power - Times of Israel

Hours after the coalition’s preferred candidate to lead the Israel Bar Association acknowledged defeat in the vote, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party on Wednesday prepared to advance a bill to strip the IBA of much of its authority.

Results from the organization’s leadership election handed a win to Amit Becher, the candidate standing on an anti-overhaul platform. The IBA currently has two seats on the country’s Judicial Selection Committee, whose makeup is currently in fierce contention as the government attempts to remake the nation’s judicial system to hand far more power to the executive branch.

Sponsored by Likud MK Hanoch Milwidsky, the bill would take away the Bar Association’s authority to license lawyers, and possibly its two seats on the nine-member committee entrusted with picking Israel’s judges. (Read more)

5. Golan Druze protest turns violent - JNS

A dozen police officers were injured and three protesters were hurt, two seriously, during a demonstration on Wednesday by the Druze community in the Golan Heights against the construction of a wind farm.

The injured protesters were transported to Ziv Medical Center in Tzfat; one man in his 20s suffered from a gunshot wound.

The Israel Police said that 12 of its officers were injured in the clashes without giving details on their condition. (Read more)

1. Durham testifies that the FBI ignored Hillary Clinton plan to link Trump to Russia, slaps down Dems’ attacks - DML News

Special Counsel John Durham testified Wednesday that the CIA in 2016 received intelligence that suggested Hillary Clinton had approved a plan to tie then-candidate Donald Trump to Russia — intelligence that the FBI ignored. Durham testified publicly for the first time before the House Judiciary Committee Wednesday, just weeks after releasing a report that found the Justice Department and FBI never should have launched the Trump-Russia investigation.

When asked about his findings, Durham said the FBI failed to “sufficiently scrutinize information it received” and did not “apply the same standards to allegations it received about the Clinton and Trump campaigns.”

“The FBI was too willing to accept and use politically funded and uncorroborated opposition research, such as the Steele dossier,” Durham testified. “The FBI relied on the dossier and FISA applications, knowing there was likely material originating from a political campaign or political opponent.” (Read more)

- Lord God, it is so disheartening that all of this information comes out after the fact. Trump's presidency was cut short in so many ways because of this fraudulent investigation. And the American people were lied to about this fraudulent investigation. So in the name of Jesus, we pray for recompense and that the enemy return back all that he has stolen from the American public. We pray that people will be held accountable for this tragedy, in Jesus name, amen.

- “But if he is caught, he must pay back seven times what he stole, even if he has to sell everything in his house.” (Proverbs 6:31)

2. RFK Jr. Reveals Why Ivermectin Had to Be Destroyed - The Vigilant Fox

Ivermectin is often recognized – 2nd to penicillin – for having the greatest impact on human health. And its discovery won the Nobel Prize in 2015. But its existence threatened a $200 billion vaccine enterprise.

“The Federal Emergency Use Authorization Statute says that you cannot issue an emergency use authorization to a vaccine if there is an existing medication that has been approved for any purpose that is demonstrated effective against the target illness,” explained Kennedy.

“So they had to destroy ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine and discredit it. And they had to tell everybody it’s not effective. Because if they had acknowledged that it’s effective in anybody, the whole $200 billion vaccine enterprise would have collapsed.” (Read more)

- Lord God, we cannot even fathom the evil behind withholding medication that could save a life just to make money and push an agenda. We just ask Lord for recompense and restoration in all areas, financial, health, healed hearts, family members, and every area that has been traumatized and affected by this evil. We know that your love Lord covers a multitude of sins, so we thank you God that you’re healing every heart and restoring every soul from the pain that they have gone through for the last couple years, in Jesus name, amen.

- “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18)

3. Supreme Court sides with feds, tribes in challenge over American Indian adoptions- Washington Times

The Supreme Court batted down a challenge Thursday from non-Indian families hoping to adopt American Indian children with a ruling supporting a federal law that says Indian children generally should be placed with their tribes.

The 7-2 ruling rejected claims that the Indian Child Welfare Act, which was drafted to protect tribal children from being taken outside their communities, stretches beyond Congress’ powers and violates the Constitution’s 10th Amendment by forcing states to place children with tribes even when judges don’t believe it’s in the best interest of the child.

“Congress’s power to legislate with respect to Indians is well established and broad. Consistent with that breadth, we have not doubted Congress’s ability to legislate across a wide range of areas, including criminal law, domestic violence, employment, property, tax, and trade,” Justice Amy Coney Barrett wrote in the chief opinion for the court. - Lord God, we pray for the children in our foster care system who are waiting to be reunited with their biological parents or to find a loving adoptive family. We pray that they will find hope in You, God, who is the Father of all. And lastly we pray that our adoption processes would be a help, not a hindrance, to the best interests of these childen.

- “A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.” (Psalm 68:5)

4. Oregon Republican Walkout Ends With Parental Rights Restored and Infanticide Stopped - Life News

Oregon Senate Republicans ended their historic walk-out Thursday after Democrats agreed to several compromises on two radical pro-abortion bills, including one that would have stripped parents of their right to be involved in their children’s abortion decisions.

Since May 3, Republican lawmakers blocked the Democrat-controlled Senate from passing legislation because of House Bill 2002, a radical pro-abortion bill that would allow girls as young as 10 to have abortions – or be coerced by an abuser – without their parents’ knowledge.

This week, the two parties reached an agreement to amend the pro-abortion bill and kill a second, Senate Joint Resolution 33, which would have amended the state constitution to create a “right” to unrestricted abortion on demand, according to Oregon Right to Life.

- Lord God, we thank you for righteous leaders that did everything that they could to stand up for life. We pray for all of those that are involved in the abortion industry, and those that are making laws that the veil of deception would be taken off of their eyes, and that their hearts would be softened, and that they would come to the realization to how precious life is, and do whatever necessary to protect it, in Jesus name, amen.

- “…having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you.” (Ephesians 1:18)

5. White powder letter investigation expands beyond Kansas - DML News

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation announced that the investigation into around 100 suspicious letters sent to legislators and public officials has now expanded beyond Kansas, so the FBI will now be the agency leading the investigation. The KBI says they will continue to work with all law enforcement partners to bring an appropriate resolution to the incidents.

“Our focus remains on ensuring the safety of Kansans, and holding those responsible for these crimes accountable, said KBI Director Tony Mattivi. “The KBI is so appreciative of the incredible coordination and outstanding response by countless federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, as well as by fire departments and hazmat teams to this unprecedented event.” (Read more)

Lord God, we pray protection over all of the public officials and legislatures that are under attack that no harm or evil will prevail and come against them in Jesus name. And we pray for those investigating this, that you would give them wisdom and direction in Jesus name amen.

- “Would not God find this out?
For He knows the secrets of the heart.” (Psalm 44:21)

6. Pentagon 'leaker' Jack 'The Dripper' Teixeira, 21, pleads NOT GUILTY - Daily Mail

Jack Teixeira, the Massachusetts Air National Guard member accused of leaking highly classified military documents on a social media platform, pleaded not guilty Wednesday to federal felony charges.

Teixeira, 21, entered the pleas during a hearing in Worcester's federal court days after he was indicted by a grand jury on six counts of willful retention and transmission of national defense information.

Each count is punishable by up to 10 years in prison. Handcuffed and wearing orange jail garb, Teixeira smiled at family seated in the gallery at the start of the hearing.
He stood at the defense table next to his lawyers and leaned over to say 'not guilty, your honor' into the microphone after the judge read each count. (Read more)

- Lord God, we cover this situation in the blood of Jesus and we ask that you reveal the truth about what really happened and that Justice would win out in Jesus name.

Thus says the Lord: “Keep justice, and do righteousness, for soon my salvation will come, and my righteousness be revealed." (Isaiah 56:1)

7. No One Participates in Politics More than Atheists - Graphs About Religion

The last forty years of politics and religion has been focused squarely on the ascendancy of the Religious Right. I must admit that I’ve probably contributed my fair share to that discourse, as well.

A motley crew of white evangelicals and traditional Catholics locked arms on some social issues, started voting in large numbers for Republican candidates, and changed American politics forever.

“Atheists are more likely to donate to political candidates, put up yard signs, and contact public officials than any other religious group. Likewise, atheists are significantly more involved than evangelicals, often seen as the country’s most politically active religious group. In total, Burge calculates, “the average atheist is about 65 percent more politically engaged than the average American.” (Read more)

- Lord God, let us remember that it was a case, brought forth by an atheist that eventually got prayer and the Bible taken out of public schools. We pray for Christians to put their faith into action in the voting booth. We pray Lord that your Spirit would continue to equip and motivate Christians to bring the light of their Christian influence into the darkened corners of culture, including the voting booth. You are a sovereign God, who chooses to work through his people, and you tell us in your Word, that we prove our faith by our actions, and what we do.

“Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” (James 2:17)

8. UK students identify as horses, dinosaurs, moons amid neogender ‘furry’ trend - New York Post

Students at woke schools in the UK have been identifying as neogender “furries” like horses, dinosaurs and even curse-casting moons — sparking outrage from Britain’s top leader and a government investigation.

The revelations are part of an investigation by The Telegraph, which reported this week on a now-viral video showing a teacher at a school in East Sussex blasting a girl as “despicable” for refusing to accept a classmate who identified as a cat.

A high school student was recorded as identifying as a dinosaur, and another student was discovered who called themselves a horse. According to a student at a Wales school, a classmate will say they were “discriminated against if you do not refer to them as ‘catself’” — and will “meow rather than answer a question in English.”

“And the teachers are not allowed to get annoyed about this because it’s seen as discriminating,” the student said. “It’s affecting other people and their education and everybody in their lessons. It’s distracting to sit in a lesson and have someone meow to a teacher rather than answer in English. (Read more)

- Lord God, this is a prime example of the dangers of allowing children to identify as whatever they feel like one day, and the dangers of teachers, schools, and our leaders pushing this as normal. Help us, Lord, we repent for not properly teaching our children their unique purpose and identity in Christ. Lord help restore the identity and the unique purpose and plans you have for this upcoming generation, that it will not be lost, in Jesus name, amen.

- “We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation
about the glorious deeds of the LORD,
about his power and his mighty wonders.” (Psalm 78:4)

Stupidocrisy: They Didn't Dodge Well

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, June 21, 2023

You’ve probably heard about the big brouhaha when the LA Dodgers decided to invite the blasphemous drag queen Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence to be honored with the Community Hero Award during a pregame ceremony on the team’s Pride Night. At first, there was such public outcry against the Dodgers that they disinvited the “Sisters.” But not to be outdone by Bud Light transmania, the Dodgers reinvited the God-mocking group with a formal apology. They threw Catholics and Christians a bone by announcing they would sponsor a Christian Faith and Family Day at Dodger Stadium on July 30. The Pride Night of June 16 went on as scheduled, but it didn’t turn out as well as the Dodgers had hoped.

Hours before the first pitch, police gathered around the stadium area to guard against any violence. Several sources, including FOX News, reported thousands showed up to protest their disgust with the Dodgers for allowing the “Sisters” to openly offend Christians and Catholics, much less the direct mocking and ridiculing of God Almighty. The thousands blocked the main entrance to the stadium. When the award was announced at third base a bit before the game, reports say that the handful of fans in the stadium responded with a mixed amount of cheers and boos. Brian Birch, president of CatholicVote, wrote Major League Baseball Commissioner that “Their [the Sisters] sole mission is to disgust Christians with the most grotesque acts they can imagine.” Then the Dodgers suffered the biggest shutout loss in 125 years. 16th-century church emerges from south Mexico lake amid intense drought
For the third time since the area was flooded, the remains of the Temple of Quechula have emerged from the waves at the Nezahualcoyotl reservoir. However, its appearance is a bad omen for local fishermen.

The grandiose Temple of Quechula was built with the belief that the village of its namesake would boast a large, booming population. Today, the abandoned city hosts schools of fish that feed the livelihood of local fishermen, submerged within the Nezahualcoyotl reservoir, at least partially.

Over the past six months, drought in Chiapas, Mexico, has plunged water levels at the Nezahualcoyotl reservoir, built on the Grijalva River, to extreme levels.

The church was built in the 16th century under the order of a group of monks led by Friar Bartolome de la Casas in a region inhabited by the Zoque people in the 16th century. However, the building was later abandoned due to the plagues of 1773–1776, according to architect Carlos Navarrete. It stood above ground until 1966 when the Malpaso Dam was completed. Read More

‘It’s absolutely amazing’:

Couple beat ‘one in 200 million’ odds by giving birth to identical triplets
An English couple who beat the odds of one in 200 million by giving birth to identical triplets has finally brought their premature daughters home. James Casper, 26, and Jenni Casper, 27, of Selby, North Yorks, were initially told they were expecting twins but were “speechless” when they learned they were actually having triplets at Jenni’s 12-week scan. During their 20-week scan, they discovered that the triplets were identical. On March 31, 2023, the three girls—Harper-Gwen, Marvella, and Evalynn—were born nine weeks prematurely weighing 2 pounds 13 ounces (1.27 kilograms), 3 pounds 1 ounce (1.38 kilograms), and 3 pounds (1.36 kilograms).

James said that Harper-Gwen, Marvella, and Evalynn are all “literally identical.” As the triplets were conceived naturally and shared the same placenta in the womb, there was a one in 200 million chance that they were going to be born. Neither of the parents has multiple births running in the family so the family thinks they hit the “lottery,” with this pregnancy. “If our luck is this good, then it has to keep stretching surely;” he said. “It’s absolutely amazing, we couldn’t be any happier.” (Read More)

Scripture: He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Hebrews 13:5

Lyrics:
There’s One who can comfort when all else fails,
Jesus, blessèd Jesus;
A Savior who saves tho’ the foe assails,
Jesus, blessèd Jesus:
Once He traveled the way we go,
Felt the pangs of deceit and woe;
Who more perfectly then can know,
Than Jesus, blessèd Jesus?

He heareth the cry of the soul distressed,
Jesus, blessèd Jesus;
He healeth the wounded, He giveth rest,
Jesus, blessèd Jesus:
When from loved ones we’re called to part,
When the tears in our anguish start,
None can comfort the breaking heart,
Like Jesus, blessèd Jesus.

He never forsakes in the darkest hour,
Jesus, blessèd Jesus;
His arm is around us with keeping power,
Jesus, blessèd Jesus:
When we enter the shadow land,
When at Jordan we trembling stand,
He will meet us with outstretched hand,
This Jesus, blessèd Jesus.

What joy it will be when we see His face,
Jesus, blessèd Jesus;
Forever to sing of His love and grace,
Jesus, blessèd Jesus:
There at home on that shining shore,
With the loved ones gone on before,
We will praise Him forevermore,
Our Jesus, blessèd Jesus.
