Israel Rescues 4 Hostages Kidnapped by Hamas:
"We are Overjoyed"

Israel says it safely rescued four hostages that were captured by Hamas during the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks.

The IDF said the hostages, three men and one woman, were rescued in the largest such hostage recovery operation since the war with Hamas began in Gaza.

Noa Argamani, 26, Almog Meir Jan, 22, Shlomi Ziv, 41, and Andrey Kozlov, 27, were rescued in two separate locations in a complex special daytime operation in the heart of Nuseirat in central Gaza. They had been held in captivity by the terrorist group for 246 days.

Argamani has been one of the most widely recognized hostages since she was abducted from a music festival in southern Israel. The video of her abduction was among the first to surface, images of her horrified face widely shared — Argamani detained between two men on a motorcycle, one arm outstretched and the other held down as she screams "Don’t kill me!"

Her mother, Liora, has stage four brain cancer and in April released a video pleading to see her daughter before she dies.

Officers of the National Police special anti-terror unit of Yamam along with Shin Bet agents simultaneously raided two Hamas buildings to pluck the hostages to safety. Argamani was rescued at one site, while Meir Jan, Kozlov, and Ziv were at the second location.

During the operation, Chief Inspector Arnon Zmora, an officer in the special anti-terror unit of Yamam, was critically injured and later died from his injuries. (Fox News) Read more

- Father, we praise You for the rescue of these hostages alive. This reveals the incredible courage and perseverance of the IDF. We ask that you touch the hearts of all Israelis and the Arabs among them with Your Holy Spirit. Bring salvation! WE also pray for Your comfort to the family of Arnon Zmora who succumbed to his injuries.

- “Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” (Psalm 82:3-4)

Terror Organization Takes Nine UN Employees Captive

The Houthis, an internationally designated terror group that governs part of Yemen, has taken at least nine United Nations employees captive, The Associated Press reported Friday.

Authorities told the outlet that it was unclear why the employees were abducted and that the rebel group had likely also detained other aid workers from other organizations.

Regional officials told AP that those taken worked for “the U.N. human rights agency, its development program, the World Food Program and one working for the office of its special envoy.” The Houthis also detained the wife of a U.N. hostage, the officials said.

The United Nations declined to comment on the situation, AP reported.

In a statement to the outlet, the Yemen-based Mayyun Organization for Human Rights said, “We condemn in the strongest terms this dangerous escalation, which constitutes a violation of the privileges and immunities of United Nations employees granted to them under international law, and we consider it to be oppressive, totalitarian, blackmailing practices to obtain political and economic gains.” Read more

UN to Blacklist Israel - with Hamas - as Threat to Children, Netanyahu Responds: "Delusional"

The United Nations (UN) is set to add Israel, and the Hamas terrorist group, to a blacklist of countries and groups that harm children — provoking an angry response from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who called the decision “delusional.”

The move marks the second time in recent weeks that an international body has equated Hamas and Israel in condemnation, after the International Criminal Court announced that it would seek arrest warrants for Israeli officials as well as Hamas leaders for alleged war crimes during the conflict in Gaza.

The New York Times reported:

The United Nations will add Israel as well as Hamas to a list of countries and armed groups that harm children when it releases its annual report on children and armed conflict, citing the heavy toll the war in Gaza has taken on minors, including killing, maiming and starvation, U.N. officials said.

Reuters noted that United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres was personally responsible for the decision to blacklist Israel, and that the United Nations Security Council will review the listing next week:

The global list is included in a report on children and armed conflict that Guterres is due to submit to the U.N. Security Council on June 14

Israel’s Foreign Minister Israel Katz said the decision “will have consequences for Israel’s relations with the U.N.” Israel has long had contentious relationship with the U.N. that has only worsened during the Israel-Hamas war in the Gaza Strip.

“I am utterly shocked and disgusted by this shameful decision of the Secretary-General,” said Erdan. “Israel’s army is the most moral army in the world, so this immoral decision will only aid the terrorists and reward Hamas.” (Breitbart)  Read more

- Lord, this is a delusional listing, not rooted in truth. We pray that a move of Your Spirit will be released across the UN, and that Your enemies will be scattered and removed.

- “God shall arise, his enemies shall be scattered; and those who hate him shall flee before him!” (Psalm 68:1)

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Explosive drones, rocket barrage from Lebanon spark fires in Golan Heights - Times of Israel

Waves of rocket and drone attacks on northern Israel set off sirens repeatedly throughout Sunday and sparked fires in the Golan Heights, as Israel and Hezbollah once again traded fire throughout the day while international allies called for a de-escalation.

A day earlier, the Iran-backed Lebanese terror group boasted of using the heavy Falaq-2 rocket, which holds a 60-kilogram (132-pound) warhead, against Israel for the first time.

Around noon on Sunday, two explosive-laden drones launched from Lebanon at Israel struck areas in the northern Golan Heights, sparking fires, the Israel Defense Forces said.

2. Netanyahu: Israel will do whatever it takes to return hostages - JNS

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke on Saturday night with the four freed Hamas hostages and their families at Sheba Medical Center in Ramat Gan, praising the soldiers who carried out the daring daytime rescue operation in Gaza earlier in the day.

“Israel just carried out a remarkable rescue operation of four hostages held by Hamas. This operation required ingenuity and courage of the highest degree, and our soldiers performed in an unmatchable way,” the premier said after meeting the rescued abductees and their relatives.

“We’re committed to getting the release of all the hostages, and we expect Hamas to release them all—but if they don’t, we’ll do whatever it takes to get them all back home,” he continued. (Read more)

3. IDF rescues 4 hostages from 8 months’ captivity in daytime operation in central Gaza - Times of Israel

Four Israeli hostages were rescued alive from Hamas captivity Saturday in a daring daylight operation in the central Gaza Strip, the military announced.

Noa Argamani, 26, Almog Meir Jan, 21, Andrey Kozlov, 27, and Shlomi Ziv, 40, had been abducted from the Supernova music festival near the community of Re’im on the morning of October 7, when some 3,000 Hamas-led terrorists killed 1,200 people and took 251 hostages in a murderous rampage in southern Israel.

Officers of police’s elite Yamam counter-terrorism unit, along with Shin Bet agents, simultaneously raided two Hamas-controlled multi-story buildings in the heart of central Gaza’s Nuseirat, a joint statement said. Argamani was rescued at one site, while Meir Jan, Kozlov, and Ziv were at the second location. (Read more)

4. Israeli airstrike kills two in southern Lebanon - Reuters

BEIRUT, June 8 (Reuters) - Two people were killed on Saturday in an Israeli airstrike on the outskirts of the southern Lebanese town of Aitaroun, Lebanon's state news agency NNA said on Saturday.
The Israeli military said in a statement that its soldiers had identified a Hezbollah militant in the Aitaroun area, and that soon afterwards an Israeli aircraft had carried out an airstrike that hit the individual.
Israeli forces launched two missiles targeting a cafe at a petrol station, causing significant damage to the premises and to the surrounding area, NNA said.
Lebanese armed group Hezbollah said its fighters retaliated by firing rockets on Malkia, in northern Israel, followed by a salvo of missiles at a military command centre in northern Israel using the Falaq 2 rockets. (Read more)

5. Hamas Claims 3 Hostages, Including US Citizen, Killed in Israel - Algemeiner

Hamas’ armed al-Qassam Brigades said in a video posted on its Telegram channel on Sunday that three hostages were killed, including a U.S. citizen, in an Israeli military operation on Saturday in which some hostages were freed.

The group did not release the names of those said to be killed, but the video showed what appeared to be three unidentifiable corpses using censor bars over their faces.

“Your captives will not be released unless our prisoners are freed,” the video added.

Israel rescued four hostages held by Hamas in a hostage-freeing operation in central Gaza’s al-Nuseirat on Saturday which killed 274 Palestinians.

A Hamas assertion on Saturday that some hostages were killed in the operation was dismissed shortly afterwards as a “blatant lie” by an Israeli military spokesman. (Read more)

1.  Joe Biden Scores Migrants More Jobs While Americans Drop Out of Workforce – Breitbart

President Joe Biden’s economic agenda is scoring foreign-born workers more jobs in the United States labor market as hundreds of thousands of native-born Americans have dropped out of the workforce over the last year.

New Bureau of Labor Statistics data shows that while 637,000 foreign-born workers joined the U.S. labor market in the last year, almost 300,000 native-born Americans fell out of the workforce.

“All of the net job growth over the last year has gone to foreign-born workers, (a category which the Labor Dept. admits includes illegal aliens) while native-born Americans have lost a net 300k jobs,” Heritage Foundation economist E.J. Antoni wrote on X.

“No wonder Americans view economy so terribly: they aren’t the ones [with] the jobs; native-born employment is not only millions below pre-pandemic trend, but even below pre-pandemic level, while millions more foreign workers are employed today than Feb ’20, and back to trend,” Antoni wrote.

- Father, this deception by the Biden administration is harming American citizens and needs to stop.  The statistics released are likely false ones, designed to sway the elections. We bind these actions and pray that You would intervene to reveal the truth to all who will vote.

- “A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who breathes out lies will not escape.” (Proverbs 19:5)

2. Report: UAE foreign minister slams ‘useless’ Palestinian Authority, says no reforms apparent during Blinken meeting – All Israel News

The foreign minister of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed (ABZ), reportedly slammed the Palestinian Authority in a meeting last month between U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and high-ranking Arab officials descended into a heated shouting match, the Times of Israel reported on Thursday.

The meeting in Saudi Arabia was focused on finding a strategy for the Gaza Strip after the war, including a discussion about the Palestinian Authority’s (PA) efforts at reform.

The United States has pushed for the PA to reform itself and eventually resume governance of Gaza.

Israel strongly rejected these plans, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stating, “Gaza will be neither Hamastan nor Fatahstan.”

During the meeting, Hussein al-Sheikh, a close advisor of PA President Mahmoud Abbas, complained about the lack of political and financial support for the PA. Read more

- Lord, we pray that terrorists will not be able to govern Gaza after the war. Let truth reign over this situation, and Your wisdom to prevail.

3. NY v. Trump: Judge reveals Facebook post implying juror discussed guilty verdict before trial concluded - Fox News

The judge presiding over former President Trump’s New York criminal trial notified his defense team on Friday of a comment on the court's public Facebook page that implies one of the jurors discussed the guilty verdict with family before the trial concluded.

Fox News obtained the letter Judge Juan Merchan shared with Trump defense attorneys and Manhattan prosecutors.

"'Today, the Court became aware of a comment that was posted on the Unified Court System's public Facebook page and which I now bring to your attention. In the comment, the user, ‘Michael Anderson,’ states:

"’My cousin is a juror and says Trump is getting convicted! Thank you folks for all your hard work!!!!’"

The comment was posted on May 29 "regarding oral arguments in the Fourth Department of the Appellate Division unrelated to this proceeding."

The profile for "Michael Anderson" has little publicly available information, but the user identifies himself as a "Transabled & professional sh-- poster."

A Trump campaign official told Fox News Digital they are "investigating the matter." Read more

- Lord, whether this was a fake post or not, it may reveal the mindset of many in New York state regarding President Trump. The obvious bias on the part of the judge, prosecutors and jurors is extremely concerning. We ask for justice for the former President in all the cases that he is facing.

- “When justice is done, it is a joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers.” (Prov. 21:15)

4. Supreme Court justices disclose book advances, including $900,000 for Jackson- LA Times/MSN

The Supreme Court justices reported Friday that they are receiving big-money advances for writing books about themselves or the law, often shortly after arriving at the court.

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson reported she received an $893,750 advance last year for a memoir she plans to write called "Lovely One."

Her publisher said the book will be out later this year and tells of "her family’s ascent from segregation to her confirmation on America’s highest court within the span of one generation." She also reported receiving four concert tickets valued at $3,700 from Beyoncé.

Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh reported receiving a $340,000 advance for what was described as a "legal memoir" that he is working on.

And Justice Neil M. Gorsuch said he received $250,000 from publisher Harper Collins for a book he is writing with a former clerk.

Several justices in recent years have reported sizable book advances. Read more

- Lord, because this headline appeared in all the news media, we know that many think the Justices are doing something illegal. They are not. We pray that Your mercy will cover the Justices who are writing books and ask that the furor die down. Grant them peace.

- “Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way.”      (2 Thessalonians 3: 16a)

5. Biden Publicly Apologizes To Zelenskyy, Tells Him It’s Republicans Fault For Ukraine Aid Troubles – Daily Caller

President Joe Biden publicly apologized to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday and appeared to blame Republicans for Ukraine’s aid struggles.

Biden and Zelenskyy met in Paris, France, on Friday ahead of Biden’s expected travel to Italy next week for the Group of Seven (G7) summit with the U.S.’ strongest allies. During their meeting, Biden told Zelenskyy he was sorry it took so long to sign off on the new $60 billion aid package for Ukraine’s security, noting that there were “very conservative members” in Congress who had stonewalled its delivery.

“We’re not gonna walk away from you. I apologize for the weeks of not knowing what was going to pass, in terms of funding,” Biden told Zelenskyy in front of reporters on Friday. “And because we had trouble getting the bill that we had to pass — that had the money in it — some of our very conservative members who were holding it up. But we got it done, finally.”

The $60 billion aid package was passed by Congress and signed by Biden in April after months of deliberations and clashes between lawmakers. Biden has been publicly supportive of Ukraine’s wartime efforts against Russia and has approved a total of $175 billion in aid since the conflict began in 2022.

Behind closed doors, however, the Biden administration has reportedly expressed concern about Russia’s odds at victory as it continues to make advances along the Eastern front of the war. Russia’s military has largely recovered from losses sustained in the first two years of the war and does not suffer from the same manpower or weapons shortages that Ukraine does. Read more

- Father, Joe Biden is continually placing blame on Republicans and never takes any responsibility for his own actions. We pray that You will find a way to stop the lies and bring repentance to this entire administration.

- “You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” (John 8:44)

6. Trump Raises $12 Million At Fundraiser In Nancy Pelosi’s Hometown – Daily Wire

Former President Donald Trump reportedly raised about $12 million during a fundraiser with tech entrepreneurs in San Francisco on Thursday.

The fundraiser was at the Pacific Heights home of Venture capitalist David Sacks who hosted the fundraiser alongside venture capitalist Chamath Palihapitiya, Reuters reported. Sacks and Palihapitiya are co-hosts of the popular “All-In” podcast. The cost of attending ranged between $50,000 to $500,000 depending on benefits. A number of well-known venture capitalists and crypto investors showed up for the event.

Trump was introduced at the event by Sacks, who announced his endorsement of Trump in a Thursday post on X, and Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH). Trump has repeatedly criticized Democrats for their proposed increase in regulations on cryptocurrency.

The event took place in deep blue San Francisco, which is represented by former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a political foe of Trump. Read more

- Lord, even as President Trump faces serious problems, this article claims he remains “relaxed and happy.” We pray that You continue to be with him to bring faith, strength, and hope as he navigates the pathway ahead despite the obstacles placed before him.

- “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
(Proverbs 3:5-6)

And Now . . . Lion of Judah: ROAR!!!!
"The Lord shall go forth like a mighty man;
He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war.
He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud;
He shall prevail against His enemies."

Wyoming's Teton Pass road collapses in landslide:
‘Catastrophic failure’
Teton Pass road links eastern Idaho to tourist destination Jackson, Wyoming

A mountain pass road near the popular tourist destination of Jackson, Wyoming, collapsed Saturday after a landslide, adding at least an hour of travel time for those who drive on the roadway.

The roadway at milepost 12.8 on Teton Pass "catastrophically failed," severing a large chunk of the winding road, and will remain closed as officials plan how to repair the damage, the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) said.

"We understand this highway is a lifeline for commuters, deliveries, medical care access and tourism, especially with limited alternatives and the summer season upon us," WYDOT Director Darin Westby said in a statement.

Aerial photos and drone video show a sheer chasm where the roadway’s pavement used to be, and a guardrail dangling down the collapsed section onto loose dirt and rocks.

The road was closed at the time of the collapse as crews attempted to address a major crack that split the roadway on Friday and was becoming more pronounced as the land continued to move.

"WYDOT engineers, surveyors and geologists mobilized quickly to try to maintain highway viability as long as possible, but catastrophic failure could not be avoided," Westby said.

No one was injured, and no equipment was damaged when the roadway finally collapsed, officials said.

"I am grateful for the efforts of WYDOT staff to protect public safety during this developing situation, and am thankful no one was injured during this incident," Gov. Mark Gordon said in a statement. (Fox News) Read more here.

- Father God, we agree with the statement of Governor Mark Gordon, giving thanks that no one was injured or killed in this catastrophic event. We ask now for your wisdom for the engineers who will begin to rebuild this section of highway; and who will develop alternate routes for those who are traveling this road. In Your Name we ask this prayer, Holy One, amen and amen.

- "I will make a way where there seems to be no way." (Isaiah 43:16)

Fire of Revival Spreads as Thousands Pack Stadiums
Another wave of massive revival gatherings took place across Europe this weekend, and more than a thousand people made decisions to follow Jesus Christ, this time in Hungary and Italy. International evangelist Jean-Luc Trachsel says “the power of the Lord” moved at two huge conferences in Hungary and Italy as people were saved, healed and delivered. “Fire of revival is spreading everywhere in Europe to hungry and thirsty people,” he wrote on social media. “Stop to watch and dare why it’s not coming to your place. Go to your knees and cry out to the Lord of the harvest to save your region.”

Trachsel is the founder of Jean-Luc Trachsel Ministries which works to “bring unity among Christians and to proclaim the Gospel to this generation with mercy and compassion,” according to the website. As CBN News reported, Trachsel delivered a message in Paris, France, for the “March For Jesus in France” a little less than two weeks ago where 25,000 people praised Jesus in front of the Eiffel Tower and heard an encouraging word from God. Trachsel shared that a “fire of revival” also occurred at the “This Is the Day!” worship event at DVTK Stadium in Miskolc, Hungary. That stadium can hold more than 15,000 people, and it was filled with souls hungry for God. Trachsel reports 1,300 people gave their lives to Christ. “Another place in Europe where God is moving in a glorious way, Read more

We cry out for Your FIRE of REVIVAL to continue to spread in America and around the world. We declare in Jesus Name that signs and wonders will be revealed, prodigals are returning home and the harvest is ready in America! In the powerful Name of Yeshua-Amen.

The Sinner's Prayer

Words: Fanny Crosby
Music: Howard Doane

Scripture: The Lamb…will lead them to springs of living water. Revelation 7:17

Lyrics:
All the way my Savior leads me;
What have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt His tender mercy,
Who through life has been my guide?
Heav’nly peace, divinest comfort,
Here by faith in Him to dwell!
For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well;
For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well.

All the way my Savior leads me,
Cheers each winding path I tread;
Gives me grace for every trial,
Feeds me with the living bread.
Though my weary steps may falter,
And my soul athirst may be,
Gushing from the rock before me,
Lo! A spring of joy I see;
Gushing from the rock before me,
Lo! A spring of joy I see.

All the way my Savior leads me
O the fullness of His love!
Perfect rest to me is promised
In my Father’s house above.
When my spirit, clothed immortal,
Wings its flight to realms of day
This my song through endless ages—
Jesus led me all the way;
This my song through endless ages—
Jesus led me all the way.
