Iran, Russia, China to Run War Drills in Latin America - Washington Free Beacon
|
|
Iran, Russia, and China are gearing up to run a series of major war drills in Latin America in a show of force meant to signal how these militaries can reach the United States.
Venezuela, under the leadership of anti-U.S. socialist president Nicolás Maduro, is scheduled to host the war games in mid-August, according to a report by the Center for a Secure Free Society, a think tank that tracks malign regimes. Along with 10 other nations, Russia, China, and Iran will move their militaries into the Western Hemisphere for war drills that will "preposition forward-deployed military assets in Latin America and the Caribbean."
The war games, known as the Sniper Frontier competition, show that these malign regime from across the globe are uniting and "getting ready to make a loud statement that the region is ready to embrace the multipolar force," according to the think-tank report, which focuses on Latin America's embrace of authoritarian regimes. A key portion of Russia's "military is prepping to bring, for the first time, some of these military games to the Western Hemisphere"—even as Moscow is bogged down with war in Ukraine.
The war drills are one of the starkest signs to date that Latin America's coalition of anti-U.S. regimes is working to boost relations with Russia, China, and Iran. Maduro recently wrapped up a diplomatic tour of the Middle East in which he inked a 20-year strategic deal with Iran that laid the groundwork for an Iranian oil tanker to dock in Venezuela and offload Tehran's illicit crude. "The strategic deal between Iran and Venezuela is meant to mirror similar strategic agreements that the Islamic Republic signed with China and Russia in recent years," according to the think-tank report. Blue states believe their abortion policies can bring companies back
Amid predictions of a political “red wave” in the upcoming midterm elections, an economic wave has been building for years—with no end in sight—as companies flood out of blue states and into red states. .
As a result of its political divisions, the United States appears to now be dividing itself into prosperous, high-growth states and states that are suffering a chronic decline. But Democrat-run states believe that their abortion policies could be a key factor in attracting companies back.
Caterpillar and Citadel, which announced their exit from Illinois in June, are only the latest firms to leave high-tax, high-regulation states. Tesla, Hewlett-Packard, Oracle
, and Remington are also among the hundreds of companies flocking out of California, Illinois, New York, and New Jersey to business-friendly places such as Texas, Florida, Arizona, and Tennessee. Relocating companies have spanned industries including tech, finance, media, heavy manufacturing, autos, and firearms.
“There is a great migration going on, and I expect it to accelerate,” Glen Hamer, president of the Texas Association of Business, told The Epoch Times. “When the Caterpillars and the Elon Musks relocate, it’s an advertisement to the entire country and the entire world that something positive is going on in that state. And there is a multiplier effect.”

Attorneys Claim Government Manufacturing Evidence To Charge, Incarcerate Jan. 6 Prisoners

As Jan. 6 prisoners continue to languish in jail without trials, without bond and in subhuman conditions, two Jan. 6 attorneys are claiming the government is manufacturing evidence to arrest and incarcerate them. Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) says the government is also “hiding evidence” that could possibly exonerate some of them.
This is not the first time Democrats have manufactured evidence to support their allegations in a legal proceeding.
A History of Fabricating Evidence
In July of 2018, the infamous Steele dossier was revealed to be little more than a collection of unverified opposition research
funded by Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC), to obtain a warrant to spy on former Trump campaign volunteer Carter Page and to derail the Trump campaign.
During a Sept. 26, 2019, Intelligence Committee hearing, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) read a fabricated transcript of a phone call between former President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. When he was caught, he claimed it was “a parody.”
During the first impeachment trials in February 2021, Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) used a photoshopped version of a Twitter post Trump re-tweeted about supporters “fighting” for the country to make it seem more ominous.
After being caught and being forced to admit they doctored a text message between Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows during the December 2021 Jan. 6 hearings, and also excluded content about how they had wanted former Vice President Mike Pence to handle electoral votes during the Joint Session of Congress, Jordan further opined that their statement saying “We regret the error,” is really government-speak for, “We got caught lying.” (ZeroHedge) Read more. |

1. Coalition collapse could impede concessions for Palestinians ahead of Biden trip -Times of Israel
WASHINGTON — While the replacement of Naftali Bennett in the Prime Minister’s Office with the more moderate Yair Lapid may have given proponents of a peace process with the Palestinians cause for optimism, a senior US official told The Times of Israel on Wednesday that the development may actually complicate Jerusalem’s ties with the Palestinians in the short term.
Lapid in the past has voiced support for a two-state solution — which his predecessor vehemently opposes — and in his first speech as prime minister expressed his willingness to make peace with the Palestinians.
The rhetoric is a welcome development, as far as the US is concerned, and there is hope in Washington that Lapid will stake out such a position while standing beside US President Joe Biden when the latter visits Israel next week. (Read more)

2. Defense Minister Gantz meets Abbas in Ramallah - Israel National News
Defense Minister Benny Gantz met with Chairman of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah on Thursday evening.
The meeting took place in light of the holiday of Eid al-Adha, and in order to discuss security and civilian coordination ahead of the visit of US President Joe Biden to Israel.
The meeting was conducted in positive terms. The parties discussed regional civilian and security challenges. (Read more)

3. Canadian army helping Palestinians take over Judea and Samaria - World Israel News
In recent weeks, a delegation of senior Canadian military personnel has been documented patrolling in uniform in Area C in Judea and Samaria, including at an illegally-built structure, the Regavim organization reported Thursday.
Area C is under full Israeli security and civilian control, as per the 1993 Oslo Accords.
Last week, a high-ranking Canadian army officer, together with a delegation of Canadian military personnel, visited an illegal structure built on state land belonging to Maon in the southern Hebron Mountains, where he met with Arabs from the area.
The delegation was also hosted by the IDF’s Central Command General Yehuda Fuchs, hence their identity is known and their presence on the ground is known to IDF officials. (Read more)

4. Israel to reopen economic office in Turkey after three-year hiatus - JNS
(July 6, 2022 / JNS) Israel’s Economy and Industry Minister announced on Tuesday that Israel will reopen its economic office in Istanbul, Turkey, on Aug. 1, after the office’s activities were drastically reduced in 2019.
The return of an Israeli economic attaché in Istanbul will affect about 1,540 Israeli companies currently exporting to the Turkish market and help strengthen their business operations within this market, the ministry said in a statement.
“Turkey is the fourth most important trading partner in the Israeli economy and the fifth most important export destination in 2021,” it added. (Read more)

5. Abraham Accords Yield $3 B. in Israeli Defense Sales to Arab Countries - Jewish Press
Since the signing of the Abraham Accords about two years ago, Israeli defense and IDF officials have held about 150 meetings with their counterparts in Arab countries in the region, not including Jordan and Egypt, resulting in more than $3 billion in defense procurement transactions, Defense Minister Benny Gantz revealed.
The Abraham Accords, which were signed in September 2020, established diplomatic relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, and shortly after that with Sudan and Morocco.
The Abraham Accords, the first pact between an Arab country and Israel in 25 years, is expected to lead to similar agreements with other Arab countries, possibly Oman or Saudi Arabia.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday ahead of President Joe Biden’s visit to the region next week, Gantz also related to the drones dispatched by the Hezbollah terror organization in the past week from Lebanon toward Israel’s Karish gas rig and said they were produced by Iran. (Read more)

1. At least 46 abortion centers have closed following Supreme Court overturning of Roe v. Wade – LifeSite News
Still more abortion mills are expected to close in the coming days and weeks as historic anti-abortion state laws come into effect.
) – According to Operation Rescue’s first-hand investigation, over 49 abortion clinics have either halted abortions or have been forced to close their doors altogether since last Friday when the U.S. Supreme Court released its decision in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case.
The decision effectively overturned the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision and its companion case, Casey v. Planned Parenthood (1992), placing the issue of abortion in the hands of the states.
More abortion mills will close in the coming days and weeks as state laws go into effect. Although efforts are being made in some states to block pro-life laws, the U.S. Supreme Court has already begun to bring correction to the methods used for years by the abortion industry to nullify state laws that protect life in the womb.
On Thursday, the U.S. Supreme Court threw out three cases wherein lower courts had ruled to block enforcement of state pro-life laws passed in Arkansas, Arizona, and Indiana. The lower courts were instructed to reconsider those decisions in light of Roe’s overturn. (Read more) |

3. FIVE Major Trends To Watch For During The Second Half Of 2022 – The Economic Collapse Blog
Can you believe that it is the second half of 2022 already? I don’t know about you, but to me it seems like time goes by faster with each passing year. Perhaps that is just because I am getting older. In any event, the first six months of 2022 are already in the tank. Recently, I have been finding myself using the word “accelerate” a lot in my discussions with other people. Global events have certainly accelerated during the first half of this year, and I am convinced that they will accelerate even more during the second half.
In particular, I believe that things will really start getting crazy once summer is over.

4. Britain’s Boris Johnson resigning as PM amid scandal – The Hill
LONDON (AP) — Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced his resignation Thursday amid a mass revolt by top members of his government, marking an end to three tumultuous years in power in which he brazenly bent and sometimes broke the rules of British politics.
Months of defiance ended almost with a shrug as Johnson stood outside No. 10 Downing St. and conceded that his party wanted him gone.
“Them’s the breaks,” he said.
The brash, 58-year-old politician who took Britain out of the European Union and steered it through COVID-19 and the war in Ukraine was brought down by one scandal too many — this one involving his appointment of a politician who had been accused of sexual misconduct.
The messiest of prime ministers did not leave cleanly. Johnson stepped down immediately as Conservative Party leader but said he would remain as prime minister until the party chooses his successor. The timetable for that process will be announced next week, he said.

PM says he told Macron there must be credible threat against Tehran, presented intelligence on Hezbollah attacks
PARIS — In his meeting Tuesday with France’s President Emmanuel Macron, Prime Minister Yair Lapid stressed the importance of a credible military threat in order to push Iran into a nuclear deal that is acceptable to Israel.
“Our claim is that if Iran won’t agree to this deal, they won’t agree to anything without a credible military threat,” Lapid told Israeli reporters in Paris after the meeting.
There is also a growing acceptance, the prime minister claimed, that there won’t be a return to the 2015 JCPOA deal.
“The feeling is that there won’t be a deal, and if there is no deal, then there needs to be something else,” said Lapid.
Having the Iranians believing there could be a military strike on their nuclear facilities and military assets is the key to creating that alternative, in Israel’s eyes. (Read more) |

6. Drs. Robert Malone, Peter McCullough sue Twitter for censoring COVID posts – LifeSite News
Drs. Peter McCullough, Robert Malone, and Bryan Tyson have filed a lawsuit against Twitter, alleging that the social media giant silenced them for posting truthful information about COVID-19.
The lawsuit also alleges that Twitter refused to give them “verified” badges despite meeting the criteria outlined by the company. The complaint argues that Twitter breached its own terms when it suspended the doctors; they want the court to order Twitter to reinstate their accounts.
On May 12, one of the group’s lawyers, Matthew Tyson, sent a letter to Twitter requesting the reinstatement of five accounts (including Drs. Vladimir Zelenko and George Fareed) and to give them “verified” badges.
In the letter, Tyson admitted that Twitter is a private company, so it is not bound by the First Amendment. “However, Twitter also implemented specific community standards to limit COVID-19 misinformation on the platform, and Twitter was bound to follow those terms,” he added. (Read more)

7. Vaccinated population accounts for 86% of Covid-19 deaths in Canada, but government continues to push boosters – Pandemic News
Canada is known for having some of the most draconian Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine mandates in the world, with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau blaming what he termed “anti-vaxxer mobs” for spreading the illness in the country and violators of vaccine mandates facing steep fines.
Now, the decision to force the jab on so many Canadians is coming back to haunt him as statistics show that vaccinated Canadians made up around 9 out of every 10 Covid deaths in Canada in the past month, with 80 percent of these deaths occurring in people who were triple vaccinated. The data can be difficult to parse as the Canadian government only reports epidemiology data sporadically and unpredictably using time frames that many observers suspect are chosen to obscure this shocking trend. However, analysis by Expose-News found that both hospitalizations and deaths in the country were largely made up of those who had been jabbed, particularly those who had also rolled up their sleeve for the boosters being pushed on the population.
In a five-week period from May 1 to June 5, Canada saw 7,625 Covid-19 hospitalizations. 6,560 of these individuals were vaccinated, with 4,590 of them being triple-vaccinated. According to the publication’s calculations, the vaccinated population made up 86 percent of hospitalizations, 70 percent of which were among those who were triple vaccinated. Another Greatest Generation Needed

Those who guided America through the second world war earned the moniker “The Greatest Generation.” They survived the 1918 flu pandemic, the Great Depression, and they took on the greatest threat to freedom the world had ever known at the time, and won. They developed technology and moved the nation from horse and buggy to landing on the moon. Their faith in God and love for family and country was unmatched. America has not known such “get it done” men and women since its founding. And today, we stand on the threshold of yet another war that threatens the very ideal of America–the freedom of speech, of religion, of pursuit of happiness, and self-governance. And where is this generation?
It’s really hard to fathom. Leftist, Marxist, Socialist, Communist, Fascist politicians and captains of business and media are taking intentional actions aimed at destroying America’s freedoms, and Americans in general are letting these usurpers get away with it. If we do not stand against this; If we do not find it in ourselves to oppose what these people are doing; If we do not turn our hearts back to the one true God; If we do not pray and act, this country and the very freedoms we all enjoy, will be lost. The moral decline in this nation, coupled with both apathy and the constant excuse of “not knowing what to do,” are allowing evil to advance. Biden's Strategic Oil Reserve Release Shipped to China

Americans received a nasty surprise when they learned today that much of the oil released from the nation’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve has been exported rather than refined domestically in the U.S. to lower the cost of gasoline at the pump.
President Joe Biden’s on-going million barrel a day release of oil from nation’s oil reserve has depleted it to levels not seen since 1968. All at a time when the Biden administration has engaged in wholesale war against domestic energy producers under the guise of forcing energy transformation on America. You might ask who is getting our oil that is being drained from what effectively is our military’s national security oil savings bank
Reuters reports that China is one of the June recipients of the formerly strategic oil. China, let that set in. The same China which has been in a one-sided war against the United States for at least a decade. The same China which has been increasing
their natural gas drilling and oil production, while the Biden administration has squashed domestic U.S. production. (Read more)

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — A British Royal Navy vessel seized a sophisticated shipment of Iranian missiles in the Gulf of Oman earlier this year, officials said Thursday, pointing to the interdiction as proof of Tehran’s support for Yemen’s Houthi rebels in the embattled country.
The British government statement was striking in that it provided some of the strongest findings to date that Tehran is arming the Houthis against the Saudi-led military coalition with advanced weapons smuggled through the Persian Gulf.
The U.K. Embassy in the United Arab Emirates described the seizure of surface-to-air-missiles and engines for land attack cruise missiles as “the first time a British naval warship has interdicted a vessel carrying such sophisticated weapons from Iran.”
“The U.K. will continue to work in support of an enduring peace in Yemen and is committed to international maritime security so that commercial shipping can transit safely without threat of disruption,” said James Heappey, Minister for the Armed Forces. (MSN.com)

'It's clear the lake is in trouble': Great Salt Lake
reaches new historic low

As the largest saltwater lake in the Western Hemisphere reached a new record low, the receding water levels in another lake exposed a relic that once sat nearly 200 feet below the surface.
Water levels at Utah's Great Salt Lake reached a new historic low on Sunday, and officials project levels will continue to drop for the next few months.
On July 3, the lake's average daily surface water elevation was measured as 4,190.1 feet at the U.S. Geological Survey gauge at Saltair Boat Harbor on the southern end of the lake. Last year, on July 23, the same gauge recorded the average daily level of 4191.3 feet, and the water level continued to plunge to 4,190.2 feet by late October.
Officials believe that the lake levels this year will also continue to plunge until fall or early winter when storms roll in and agricultural irrigation ends for the season. The persistent drought in the West, exacerbated by climate change, as well as water diversions from the Bear River Watershed have long contributed to its depletion.
"This is not the type of record we like to break," Utah Department of Natural Resources executive director Joel Ferry said in a joint news release from the USGS and the Utah Department of Natural Resources. "Urgent action is needed to help protect and preserve this critical resource. It's clear the lake is in trouble. We recognize more action and resources are needed, and we are actively working with the many stakeholders who value the lake." Read More

Tony Evans: Racial division stems from 'failure of the pulpit;' Church must 'lead the way' as solution

Tony Evans, the senior pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Church, said that because the Church instigated the problem of racism in the United States, it’s up to the Body of Christ to serve as the solution. During a segment titled “Jesus the Center of Racial Reconciliation: Adopting a Kingdom Race Mindset” during the morning session of the second day of the 2022 Southern Baptist Convention's Annual Meeting in June, Evans cited 2 Chronicles 15:2 to explain the unrest seen across the nation.
“When it comes to our racial divide, it was the failure of the pulpit and the failure of the Church which has put us in this ignominious situation today,” Evans said. “And we are told in 2 Chronicles that only when they came together in unity did God bring them rest, verse 15 says, to the distress that was in the land. The political, the social, the racial, the class distress that we are facing, that has helped to be caused by the Church, can only be properly dissolved by the Church,” Evans said. “If God can’t get the Church right, the culture can never become right.”
Evans stressed that Satan has “been successful in illegitimately dividing the Church so that the power of God is absent. So now is the time for us to come to the forefront with a plan to let the nation sees something different,” he emphasized. (Christian Post) Read More
