Special counsel informs Trump he is target in probe of efforts to overturn 2020 election
The development indicates another indictment of Trump could be imminent.
Special counsel Jack Smith has informed former President Donald Trump by letter that he is a target in his investigation into efforts to overturn the 2020 election, sources familiar with the matter tell ABC News. The letter, which sources said was transmitted to Trump's attorneys in recent days, indicates that yet another indictment of the former president could be imminent.

The target letter mentions three federal statutes: conspiracy to commit offense or to defraud the United States, deprivation of rights under color of law, and tampering with a witness, victim or an informant, sources familiar with the matter told ABC News.

There are no additional details in the letter and it does not say how the special counsel's office claims Trump may have violated the statutes listed, sources said.

Trump, appearing Tuesday night at a town hall in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, told Fox News' Sean Hannity that he received the letter on Sunday. "It bothers me," said the former president. "I got the letter on Sunday night. Think of it, I don't think they've ever sent a letter on Sunday night. And they're in a rush because they want to interfere, it's election interference, never been done like this in the history of our country and it's a disgrace what's happening to our country." Father God, we rise up together today as Your one man army and we face the spiritual forces of wickedness in high places and we decree in the authority of the shed Blood of Jesus:

"THIS FAR AND NO FURTHER, AND HERE SHALL YOUR PROUD WAVES STOP!" (Job 38:11)

We thank You, too, for the Blood of the French Huguenot martyrs, who bled and died for the faith at Matanzas and at Fort Caroline, Florida in 1565. Father God, they paid the price for our freedom on those sandy shores, and that freedom -- the freedom to walk in TRUTH, can never be removed from our land, because IT IS WRITTEN:

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." (Revelation 12:11)

Jordan Threatens FBI Director Wray With Contempt Over ‘Targeting’ Parents, Catholics

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) has threatened to hold FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt of Congress if the bureau does not comply with two subpoenas related to its alleged targeting of concerned parents and Catholics.

In his letter to Mr. Wray on July 17, Mr. Jordan highlighted the FBI’s “wholly inadequate” response to the subpoenas, which he believed hindered the committee’s oversight efforts.

“Of particular interest to the Committee is the FBI’s weaponization of its law-enforcement powers against Americans who exercise their First Amendment rights,” Mr. Jordan wrote (pdf).

The first subpoena, issued on Feb. 3, requested documents and information related to the “FBI’s targeting of concerned parents who speak out at school board meetings.”

The second subpoena, issued on April 10, was about the “FBI’s profiling of traditional Catholics as domestic extremists.”

“To date, the FBI’s compliance with these subpoenas has been wholly inadequate and has materially impeded the Committee’s oversight efforts,” Mr. Jordan wrote.

“After several accommodations, months of persistent outreach by the Committee, and attempts to negotiate and work with the FBI in good faith, we write to notify you that if the FBI does not improve its compliance substantially, the Committee will take action—such as the initiation of contempt of Congress proceedings—to obtain compliance with these subpoenas.”

The deadline for the FBI to provide the requested documents is set for July 25 at 12 p.m. (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Father God, we ask that You would move upon the heart of FBI Director Christopher Wray to stop stonewalling in this matter, and to release the documents
required by the House Judiciary Committee so that they can do their work for the American people. We thank You that Committee Chairman Jim Jordan and his members are indeed investigating the possible weaponization of the FBI, as it uses its resources to curtail the freedom of speech of the Catholic Church and our parents in America as they each do their own jobs for their people and for their children. In Jesus' name, amen and amen.

- " I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh." (Ezekiel 36:26)

US Deploying Fighter Jets, Navy Destroyer to Gulf After Iran Attempts to Seize Oil Tankers

The United States is sending fighter jets as well as a Navy destroyer to the Strait of Hormuz and the Gulf of Oman in order to bolster security and deter threats to commercial ships, the Defense Department announced on July 17.

Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh said in a press briefing that the F-35 fighters and F-16 fighters and the destroyer USS Thomas Hudner, which was previously in the Red Sea, will be deployed to the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.

This, she said, will help “defend U.S. interests and safeguard freedom of navigation in the region.”

The increased presence is in response to a “number of recent, alarming events in the Strait of Hormuz,” Ms. Singh said, pointing to two separate incidents earlier this month during which the Iranian navy attempted to illegally seize two oil tankers in waters between Iran and Oman. (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Thank You, Lord, that our navy is being used to confront Iran's bullying actions.
We ask for safety for all who are engaged in these incidents, in Your Name, amen.

- "He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways."

Judge Rejects Trump’s Bid to Move New York Felony Case to Federal Court

Former President Donald Trump’s attempt to shift his New York criminal case to federal court has been rejected by a U.S. judge.

Trump and his lawyers argued that because Trump was president when he carried out the actions for which he’s been charged, the case should be heard in federal, not New York, court.

U.S. District Court Judge Alvin Hellerstein, a Clinton appointee, disagreed.

“Trump has failed to show that the conduct charged by the Indictment is for or relating to any act performed by or for the President under color of the official acts of a President,” Hellerstein said in a July 19 ruling. “Trump also has failed to show that he has a colorable federal defense to the Indictment.”

A lawyer for Mr. Trump declined to comment. (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Father God, we thank You that You have given our former president the strength of Samson, as he continues to stand against all assaults from his enemies.
We ask You to forgive U.S. District Court Judge Alvin Hellerstein, a Clinton appointee, for he knows not what he does. Lord God, although we do not call President
Trump a prophet, we do recognize the anointing that rests upon him. We pray for this judge as he has now taken this dangerous action, because it is written Psalm 105:15: "Touch not the Lord's anointed and do His prophets no harm."  Amen.
FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Herzog hails Israel’s ‘greatest partner and friend’ in Congress address - JNS

Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Wednesday addressed a joint session of Congress, following a meeting the previous day with his U.S. counterpart at the White House.

“At this moment in my people’s history, gathering on Capitol Hill to celebrate 75 years of Israeli independence with our greatest partner and friend, the United States of America, my soul is overflowing with pride and joy. The people of Israel are grateful to no end for the ancient promise fulfilled and for the friendship we have formed,” said Herzog.

“When the State of Israel was established in 1948, the land which the Almighty promised to Abraham, to which Moses led the Israelites, the land of the Bible, of milk and honey, evolved into an exquisite land of democracy. Against all odds, the Jewish people returned home and built a national home, which became a beautiful Israeli democracy, a mosaic of Jews, Muslims, Christians, Druze and Circassians, secular, traditional and Orthodox, of all denominations and all possible views and lifestyles. A land which welcomed the ingathering of exiles from one hundred different countries,” continued Herzog. (Read more)

2. ‘Reasonableness’ bill okayed for final Knesset votes next week, as opposition fumes - Times of Israel

Amid tumultuous scenes, a Knesset committee on Wednesday night okayed a controversial bill drastically limiting use of the reasonableness judicial standard for final approval by the plenum, paving the way for the coalition to pass a part of its far-reaching judicial overhaul for the first time.

The second and third readings on the bill, an amendment to Basic Law: Judiciary,  will begin on Sunday in the Knesset plenum, and the bill is expected to be approved and passed into law on Monday or Tuesday.

The approval came at the end of several marathon sessions by the Constitution, Law and Justice Committee, which had to slog through 20,000 objections seemingly meant to gum up the legislation and stop the government from racing ahead with the bill, after compromise talks collapsed last month.

3. King of Morocco warmly invites Netanyahu to visit country -  World Israel News

King Mohammed VI of Morocco has invited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to visit the North African country, the Prime Minister’s Office announced on Wednesday evening.

“The invitation was issued in a warm personal letter in which the king thanked the State of Israel for its willingness to recognize Morocco’s sovereignty in Western Sahara,” the prime minister stated.

A visit by Netanyahu would “open up new possibilities for strengthening relations between our countries,” wrote the Moroccan king, according to the PMO.

Israeli National Security Advisor Tzachi Hanegbi and Moroccan Foreign Affairs Minister Nasser Bourita will coordinate a date for Netanyahu’s first-ever visit to the kingdom. (Read more)

4. European Commissioner Expresses Support for Freezing Palestinian Aid - Algemeiner

A cabinet member of the European Commission, a body within the executive of the European Union, has expressed support for suspending aid to the Palestinian Authority (PA) if its leaders continue refusing to remove antisemitic and violent themes from schoolchildren’s textbooks.

EU Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi made the comments on Friday, following the European Parliament’s passing last Wednesday two resolutions insisting “that all antisemitic references be deleted and that examples that incite hatred and violence be removed.”

“Education for the next generation that supports peace, tolerance, coexistence & non-violence is a shared interest,” Varhelyi, who assured Israel in May that aid to the PA will not fund terror groups, said in a public statement. “We remain committed to deliver through constructive engagement with the Palestinian Authority, while reserving the right to take appropriate measures as necessary.” (Read more)

5. Israel launches pilot for US visa waiver, easing travel for Palestinian-Americans - Times of Israel

Israel will begin easing travel restrictions for Palestinian-Americans in a significant step toward its goal of being welcomed into the US Visa Waiver Program (VWP) in the coming months, the State Department announced on Wednesday.

Starting Thursday, US citizens on the Palestinian Authority’s population registry will be allowed to travel to and through Israel for up to 90 days, a senior State Department official said during a briefing with reporters. The program, which Israel has called a pilot, was first reported by The Times of Israel last month.

Palestinian-Americans will thereby join all other US citizens who have long been able to travel to Israel for up to three months for business or pleasure. In confirming the policy change, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said it will apply both to US citizens in the West Bank as well as the Gaza Strip. (Read more)

1. Early-voting begins and campaigning heats up - Cleveland

Early voting for the Aug. 8 election began this week, and the campaigns for and against State Issue 1 have intensified accordingly.

On Monday, cleveland.com and The Plain Dealer published a story detailing the efforts Issue 1 opponents and proponents are making to mobilize their sympathetic voters, including door-to-door campaigning. Doorstep conversations with voters and interviews with activists showed that abortion remains a huge motivating factor for both sides. The next day, early voting began in Cuyahoga County and at boards of election around the state.

Also on Tuesday, we sent a reporter to talk with voters who showed up minutes after early voting began to see what motivated them. We also reported how Protect Our Constitution, the pro-Issue 1 campaign, accidently mailed an outdated absentee ballot application form to an unspecified number of voters. Although it wasn’t a big of a problem as we initially thought — elections officials clarified they can accept them, despite a new law that restricts what types of absentee application forms are permissible — the form did include outdated information that could cause recipients to be disenfranchised, including providing an incorrect deadline to return the form. - Lord God Let us not become discouraged by the perilous state of our culture. Instead, let’s be encouraged that You Father, have called us and Christians in Ohio for such a time as this. We ask you, Lord for wisdom to discern the times and not give up. Amen.

2. California replaces textbooks canceled by far-right board - Politico

A Southern California school district will receive social studies books from the state to replace the texts canceled by three far-right school board members over a mention of a gay rights activist, Gov. Gavin Newsom said Thursday.

The Newsom administration’s announcement about the Temecula Valley Unified School District follows Twitter scoldings from the governor and a civil rights investigation into the district by the California Department of Education.

This latest development extends a feud between state Democrats and three board members backed by the religious right who are now facing recall efforts and palpable parent outrage. It follows state protocols laid out in pending legislation — framed as an “anti-book ban bill” by its proponents, including the Newsom administration. (Read more)

- Lord we pray for strong families where parents teach their children what is right and true. We pray for voters to hold their local school boards and state officials accountable for the quality of education in their state. And we pray for wisdom for those in office who are fighting for education that doesn’t corrupt the minds and hearts of our young people.

- "We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the LORD, about his power and his mighty wonders." (Psalm 78:4,)

3. Iowa abortion law temporarily blocked Polk County judge as court challenge continues - Dee Moines Register

A Polk County judge has temporarily blocked Iowa's "fetal heartbeat" law as a court challenge plays out, meaning abortion is again legal in Iowa up to 20 weeks of pregnancy.

Gov. Kim Reynolds signed the "fetal heartbeat" law at about 2:45 p.m. Friday at the Family Leadership Summit, a gathering of conservative Christians where half a dozen Republican presidential contenders also took the stage.

It took effect immediately, banning nearly all abortions after doctors detect cardiac activity in the embryo. That can occur about six weeks into a pregnancy, before many women know they are pregnant. There are narrowly defined exceptions for rape, incest, fatal fetal abnormalities and cases of medical emergency. (Read more)

- Heavenly Father, thank you for the persistence of those fighting for the right to life for the unborn. Help the justices in Iowa to rule rightly and help us all to renew our strength as we work for a culture of life in our home states. In Jesus’ name, amen.

- “If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small. Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter.” (Proverbs 24:10-11)

4. Michigan charges 16 Trump supporters with 'conspiracy' over alleged 2020 alternate electors plan - The Post Millennial

On Tuesday, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel announced that 16 people would be criminally charged for alleged alternative elector efforts in the wake of the 2020 presidential election.

According to the attorney general’s office, the 16 face eight felony charges each including election law forgery, conspiracy, and uttering and publishing.

"They weren’t the duly elected and qualified electors, and each of the defendants knew it. They carried out these actions with the hope and belief that the electoral votes of Michigan’s 2020 election would be awarded to the candidate of their choosing, instead of the candidate that Michigan voters actually chose."

- Lord God, we come against these plans to create further division, chaos, and confusion, in the mighty name of Jesus. We pray that justice will be done in this situation Lord God. And we just thank you, Lord, that the truth will be made known in Jesus name amen.

- "“So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?” (Hebrews 13:6)

5. Whistleblower X revealed: Who is Joe Ziegler — the Hunter Biden IRS whistleblower identified today - Washington Examiner

The anonymous IRS criminal investigator once involved in an investigation of Hunter Biden and known only as "whistleblower X" was revealed to the Washington Examiner as IRS Special Agent Joe Ziegler, who has been with the agency since 2010.

Ziegler and veteran IRS Supervisory Special Agent Gary Shapley appeared for a public hearing of the House Oversight Committee to discuss the alleged politicization of the investigation into Hunter Biden. Ziegler's testimony was released ahead of the hearing, offering some details about his work at the IRS.

"In coming forward, I am risking my career, my reputation, and my casework outside of this investigation," Ziegler will say. Ziegler plans to shoot down any assumptions that he is a more reliable source because he is a "gay Democrat married to a man. (Read more)

- Lord, we just thank you for truth. We may not agree with everyone’s decisions or walks of life, but we thank you for this whistleblower, who is standing up for righteousness and justice. We pray for him, Lord God, that he will come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We pray, Lord, that you would give him experiential knowledge of you, give him dreams and visions of you, and let him come to know the one true, living God. We thank you that this information will bring correction, and that those responsible will be held accountable for their lies and corruption. We thank you that you are able to accomplish this and much more in Jesus name, amen.

- “Now glory be to God! By his mighty power at work within us, he is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope. May he be given glory in the church and in Christ Jesus forever and ever through endless ages. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20-21)

6. Biden appeals to small business in expanded Bidenomics pitch - Washington Examiner

President Joe Biden is underscoring his small-business credentials as he pitches his Bidenomics economic policies to skeptical voters. Biden's message, disseminated from the White House, seeks to undermine a potent Republican criticism of the president before next year's election.

Biden is poised to announce new competition policies during a competition council meeting Wednesday, which the White House says are aimed at helping entrepreneurs and small-business owners. But Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of Job Creators Network, criticized the council for prioritizing "style over substance."

"Biden's council misunderstands economics by making political moves, such as trying to ban 'junk fees,' the costs of which simply get added to underlying prices," Ortiz told the Washington Examiner. "Governments can't create competition; they can only impede it." (Read more)

- Lord God, we pray over every small business that you will give them wisdom and strength. We pray the blood of Jesus over our economy and we thank you Lord for all the hard-working citizens who keep this country going with their small businesses. We ask that you give Biden, and our future president wisdom about how to uplift these small businesses and help them thrive and succeed instead of tearing them down, in Jesus name, amen.

- "It is the hard-working farmer who ought to have the first share of the crops." (2 Timothy 2:6)

7. Gaetz to prepare bill to defund special counsel Jack Smith's Trump investigationsJust The News

Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz has announced that he would introduce legislation to defund special counsel Jack Smith's investigations into former President Donald Trump.

“I will be introducing legislation to DEFUND Jack Smith’s witch hunt against President Trump. They are attacking our democracy and engaging in election interference right now," he stated. "The United States Congress has the capability to stop this election interference, and we must act immediately!"

Smith has already brought charges against Trump in relation to his alleged mishandling of classified documents recovered from his Mar-a-Lago estate. Trump, for his part, recently announced that he had received a target letter in Smith's Jan. 6 probe, contending it signaled an upcoming second indictment. (Read more)

- We cover all ungodly agendas and all unjust investigations in the blood of Jesus, that they are completely dismantled and destroyed right now, in Jesus name. We bind all witchcraft, spells, hexes, and sorcery against Trump and his family, and any individual that is being targeted unjustly, and we break their powers in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that justice will reign, and that the rod of your scepter will touch this earth, will touch America, and bring correction in the mighty name of Jesus.

- “The LORD has broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of rulers, that struck the peoples in wrath with unceasing blows, that ruled the nations in anger with unrelenting persecution” (Isaiah 14:5–6).

8. GOP Lawmakers React as Trump Targeted in January 6 Probe - Brietbart

Many Republican lawmakers defended former President Donald Trump after his announcement of being a target in the Justice Department’s January 6 probe. Trump said he must appear before the grand jury in four days, noting his appearance likely means “deranged” Special Counsel Jack Smith will indict him.

“Nothing like this has ever happened in our Country before, or even close…THIS WITCH HUNT IS ALL ABOUT ELECTION INTERFERENCE AND A COMPLETE AND TOTAL POLITICAL WEAPONIZATION OF LAW ENFORCEMENT! It is a very sad and dark period for our Nation!” Trump posted on Truth Social.

GOP House Conference Chair Elise Stefanik (R-NY) reacted to the news by calling the potential indictment “unprecedented” and a “corrupt witch hunt.”
“Joe Biden’s Department of Justice continues to target his leading political opponents for the White House,” she said: (Read more)

- Lord God, this is not about Trump, but about the miss-use of the justice department, and the weaponization of our government against individuals they simply disagree with. This sets a dangerous precedent that whoever would dare run against whatever agenda is being enforced, would be picked on, ridiculed, and stripped of all influence. This is not America. We cast down this plan to the pit of hell where it came from and we continue to stand on your word, and on the truth that America is about freedom and we will not lose our freedom on our watch in Jesus name amen.

“Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage.” (Ephesians 6:12)

Stupidocrisy: Pulling The Cocaine Over Our Eyes

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, July 19, 2023

The Secret Service apparently has ended its investigation into the great cocaine finding at the White House. They don’t know. Inconclusive. Can’t figure it out. The only thing that would be more surprising is if they tried somehow to blame it on Donald Trump. Given the ridiculousness of this scam investigation, and the obvious attempt to cover it up by telling everyone that they just can’t find the person who put it there, they must take everyone in America to just be stupid. With all the visitor logs, the security clearances, security cameras and time stamps, it just doesn’t meet the “straight face” test that the most powerful investigative agencies in the world can’t find the cocaine stasher at the White House.

On July 5, Trump asked on Truth Social, “Does anybody really believe that the COCAINE found in the West Wing of the White House, very close to the Oval Office, is for the use of anyone other than Hunter & Joe Biden. But watch, the Fake News Media will soon start saying that the amount found was “very small,” & it wasn’t really COCAINE, but rather common ground up Aspirin, & the story will vanish.” Trump also asked where the security tapes were, “which will quickly show where the cocaine in the White House came from???,” adding that they already know the answer, but probably don’t like it. Certainly, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to answer whether Biden or his son may be responsible or whether the White House supports prosecuting the unknown cocaine smuggler. Read More

3 Eclipses Will Combine to Create a Giant “Aleph”
Over America
I am about to share something with you that is truly remarkable.  The paths of three eclipses will combine to form a giant “Aleph” over America, and hardly anyone knows about this.  Of course the Aleph is the first letter in the Hebrew alphabet.  The second letter in the Hebrew alphabet is Bet.  Most people don’t realize this, but our word “alphabet” originally came from a combination of Aleph and Bet.  But is the fact that a giant “Aleph” will soon be completed over the United States significant?  I believe that it is, and I will explain why in this article.

In the 21st chapter of Luke, Jesus warned us that “there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars” in the last days.

So we should be watching for such things.

In order for an eclipse to happen, both the sun and the moon must be involved.  Previously, I have explained how the “Great American Eclipse” of 2017 would later combine with the “Great American Eclipse” of 2024 to create a giant “X” across America.  The following is an excerpt from my book entitled “7 Year Apocalypse”Read More

Words and Music: Charles Gabriel

Scripture: He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Hebrews 13:5

Lyrics:
There’s One who can comfort when all else fails,
Jesus, blessèd Jesus;
A Savior who saves tho’ the foe assails,
Jesus, blessèd Jesus:
Once He traveled the way we go,
Felt the pangs of deceit and woe;
Who more perfectly then can know,
Than Jesus, blessèd Jesus?

He heareth the cry of the soul distressed,
Jesus, blessèd Jesus;
He healeth the wounded, He giveth rest,
Jesus, blessèd Jesus:
When from loved ones we’re called to part,
When the tears in our anguish start,
None can comfort the breaking heart,
Like Jesus, blessèd Jesus.

He never forsakes in the darkest hour,
Jesus, blessèd Jesus;
His arm is around us with keeping power,
Jesus, blessèd Jesus:
When we enter the shadow land
When at Jordan we trembling stand,
He will meet us with outstretched hand,
This Jesus, blessèd Jesus.

What joy it will be when we see His face,
Jesus, blessèd Jesus;
Forever to sing of His love and grace,
Jesus, blessèd Jesus:
There at home on that shining shore,
With the loved ones gone on before,
We will praise Him forevermore,
Our Jesus, blessèd Jesus.
