Bible Sales Are Skyrocketing: What’s Going On?
|

God’s truth is reaching new eyes, with Bibles reportedly flying off shelves this year. In fact, Bible sales are up 22% this year through the end of October when compared to last year’s sales during the same time period, making for “a golden age of Bible publishing,” according to The Wall Street Journal. And here’s why this figure matters. U.S. book sales were up less than 1% during that same period, meaning the Bible’s growth in sales far outpaced what was happening more generally in the print literary space. The WSJ crunched the numbers and found Bible sales increased from 9.7 million in 2019 to 14.2 million in 2023. In the first 10 months of 2024, 13.7 million copies were sold, with still two months left to count.
So, why the increase, you ask? It seems chaos and uncertainty in the world, among other factors, could be turning people back to the Lord. “People are experiencing anxiety themselves, or they’re worried for their children and grandchildren,” Jeff Crosby, president of the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association, told the WSJ. “It’s related to artificial intelligence, election cycles…and all of that feeds a desire for assurance that we’re going to be OK.” One bookstore manager told the outlet she’s seeing many first-time buyers come in looking for the Scriptures — people she said are on a quest for “hope.” (CBN) Read More Here

CIA Was Urging Taliban to Activate Sleeper Cells in US For Terror Attack to be Blamed on ISIS
|

The CIA has been working with its Taliban connections to use their sleeper cells within the U.S. to launch a terrorist attack that could be blamed on ISIS, according to journalist Lara Logan.
In the aftermath of the Bourbon Street massacre, in which an individual believed to be
linked to ISIS plowed through a crowd in a truck in NOLA that left 10 dead and 35 injured,
Logan suggested such an attack was not only anticipated, but may have been coordinated
by the CIA.
“I learned months ago from multiple US intel sources that the CIA was urging their ‘friends’
in the Taliban/Haqqani terror network to use their sleeper cells inside the US for an attack
that would be blamed on ISIS,” Logan wrote on X Wednesday.
“So I am very skeptical — it is too easy to blame ISIS. They do it over and over to hide the
fact that powerful people inside American intel agencies are in bed with this nation’s
enemies.”

Someone needs to call Jack Bauer, because it appears that we definitely could use him right about now. Our “new” golden era of “peace and safety” has been very rudely interrupted by the “old” problem of Islamic terror. Of course the truth is that it is a problem that never went away. There were dozens of major terror attacks in 2024, but most of the population is not going to pay attention unless something happens within our own borders. Sadly, everyone is paying attention now.
Very early on New Year’s Day, a 42-year-old nut named Shamsud-Din Jabbar rammed a truck into a large crowd on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. We are being told that 15 people are dead and dozens more are injured…
So was this the end, or is this just the beginning?

1. Palestinian Authority backs Israel’s claims Hamas using Gaza hospitals for terror operations - World Israel News
The Palestinian Authority has confirmed accusations by Israel’s military that the Hamas terror organization is using hospitals in the Gaza Strip as de facto command and control centers.
Throughout the current war against Hamas, which began on October 7th, 2023, Israel’s military has maintained that the Islamist terror group has taken control of medical centers in the coastal enclave, using them to shelter terror operatives and as local command facilities.
Last week, the Palestinian National Security Forces, the PA’s paramilitary police force, revealed evidence that Hamas used the Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis as an interrogation center for Hamas military intelligence.
In a Facebook post, PNSF spokesman Adnan Al-Damiri published a photograph of a summons, issued by Hamas, to a Gazan man ordered to report for interrogation at Nasser Hospital. (Read more)

2. WATCH: After Lebanese army fails to act, strikes Hezbollah rocket launchers in Lebanon - Jerusalem Post
The Israeli air force struck medium-range rocket launchers belonging to the Hezbollah terror organization in Lebanon, the IDF stated on Thursday evening. The air force also reportedly struck additional rocket launchers next to a military site in the Nabatieh area of southern Lebanon.
The IAF strike was conducted under the direction of the Military Intelligence Directorate.
According to the military, before the strikes were conducted, Israel asked the Lebanese Armed Forces to address the issue, as per the current ceasefire agreement. The Lebanese army did not do so, the IDF noted.
"The IDF continues to act to remove any threat to the State of Israel in accordance with the ceasefire understandings," the military stated. (Read more)

3. Netanyahu hails Syria commando raid, one of the most important strikes against the Iranian axis - Times of Israel
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hails the recently acknowledged IDF commando operation deep in Syria in which 120 members of special forces units raided and destroyed an underground Iranian missile manufacturing plant.
“I salute the heroic fighters on the successful and daring mission deep in Syria,” Netanyahu posts on X.
“This is one of the most important actions to thwart the efforts of the Iranian axis to arm in order to harm us,” Netanyahu says.
The prime minister says the raid highlights Israel’s daring and “determination to act anywhere to defend ourselves.” (Read more)

5. Sa’ar calls for national plan to prepare for mass aliyah - JNS
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar called for an emergency meeting to prepare for an expected spike in immigration as antisemitism rises globally in the wake of the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas massacre.
In a letter to Prime Minister Netanyahu on Wednesday evening, Sa’ar said that a wave of worldwide antisemitism has eroded Jews’ sense of security in the Diaspora and has already generated a greater demand for immigration to Israel.
“A broad national plan is required that will also include optimal absorption of the expected immigration,” he wrote. The top diplomat noted a rise in immigration from France and Britain was already evident. That phenomenon is expected to extend to other countries as well, Sa’ar said. (Read more)

4. Katz: IDF Will Intensify Fight Until Hamas Frees Hostages – JNS
The Israeli Air Force conducted over 1,400 strikes on Hamas terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip during December.
If Hamas does not release the 100 hostages it has been holding for 454 days and halt its rocket attacks on the Jewish state, Israel will deal it “blows with a force not seen in Gaza for a long time,” Defense Minister Israel Katz said on Wednesday.
“The IDF will intensify its activities against the terrorist nests in Gaza until the release of the hostages and the elimination of Hamas,” Katz warned during a visit to the southern Israeli city of Netivot.
Hamas terrorists welcomed 2025 by firing two rockets towards the Netivot area. No damages or injuries were reported in the attack. “I call on Gaza’s residents to rise up against the murderous Hamas group, which also uses you as human shields, and to bring about the release of the hostages, to prevent suffering and end the war,” Katz said.

The U.S. Supreme Court has released a string of landmark rulings recently, from sending the abortion issue back to the states to granting a measure of presidential immunity to the overturning of Chevron deference, significantly weakening federal rulemaking power.

6. Trump Admin Poised to Tackle DEI on Multiple Fronts – The Epoch Times
Trump’s statements on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives signal an administration that will target them both in government and private organizations.
President-elect Donald Trump’s statements and appointees have indicated an interest in ending diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs within the federal government while challenging their use in private organizations.
If his first term is any indication, he will likely use executive orders to end the promotion of DEI or critical race theory within federal agencies. Specifically, he could use the federal government to reform education, bar diversity training within the federal government, and use the Department of Justice (DOJ) to sue over perceived reverse discrimination in employment and college admissions.
His nominee for secretary of defense, former Fox News host Pete Hegseth, has expressed opposition to DEI, as has his pick to lead the Federal Communications Commission, Brendan Carr.

Special Report: Terrorists on American Soil

The ISIS-inspired terrorist attack in New Orleans on New Years reveals many shortcomings and predictors at the beginning of what will become a very prophetic year. The predictors center around what could be ahead for Americans as terror groups have infiltrated the country and see America as closely tied to Israel, the terrorists’ blood enemy. As we have seen with the example of New Orleans and the subsequent pro-terrorist demonstrations in New York calling for an intifada against the US, there is a dangerous road ahead. Every American must understand these terrorists are on American soil and intend to do Americans harm. This is a new era for the country and we must be vigilant and draw closer to God.
The shortcomings are many. In December 2018, President Donald Trump declared victory over ISIS and the last of ISIS-held territory in Syria was liberated in March 2019. The Biden Administration, in typical Democrat style, allowed ISIS to reform. Like the Obama Administration, Biden’s is soft on Islam, sending billions of US taxpayer dollars to Hamas, the Palestinian Authority, Yemen, and Iran in the name of “humanitarianism.” This funded the terrorist efforts that were depleted during Trump, who cut off aid to those terrorist sponsors. 'Lives depend on it': Republicans push for prompt Trump confirmations in wake of New Orleans attack
|

Senate Republicans are urging expedited confirmation of President-elect Trump's administration appointments, particularly those for crucial national security posts, in the wake of a New Year's attack in New Orleans where a terrorist suspect drove a car into a large crowd, killing more than a dozen people.
"Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the senseless terror attack in New Orleans," said incoming Senate Republican Leader John Thune, R-S.D., on X.
"With reports of ISIS inspiration, the American people expect clear answers from the administration," Thune said. "The threat posed by ISIS will outlast this administration, and this is a clear example of why the Senate must get President Trump’s national security team in place as quickly as possible."
The FBI said the holiday attack left at least 14 people dead and dozens of others injured. Israel revealed that two of its citizens were among those injured. Victims' names are not to be released until autopsies are finished and families are notified, New Orleans Coroner Dr. Dwight McKenna said in a statement.
Republicans in the Senate were already eager to quickly push through Trump's selections, including Kash Patel for FBI director, Tulsi Gabbard for director of national intelligence and Pete Hegseth for secretary of defense. But with the latest attack and others developing around the country, many lawmakers have indicated that a prompt confirmation process is even more crucial.
Incoming Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso, R-Wyo., wrote on X, "The U.S. Senate must confirm President Trump’s national security team as soon as possible. Lives depend on it."
"I’ll be working to ensure President Trump has every tool at his disposal, including a fully confirmed national security and intelligence team ASAP to investigate these attacks and make our country safe again," said Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., in response to the attack.
Sen. Katie Britt, R-Ala., echoed that sentiment in her own statement, saying, "We must work nonstop to get President Trump’s national security team in place without delay."

- Father God of all mercy, we earnestly pray that President-elect Trump’s picks for administration appointments, especially the national security team, pass the Senate on the first vote. We thank You that a number of Republican senators are pushing for a quick confirmation and pray that Democrat senators will quickly get on board, putting aside politics or personal preferences for the good of the American people. So many of our citizens are waiting for the massive ‘clean-up’ that is needed desperately in our nation, especially in light of recent acts of terror. We ask for Your mighty, sovereign help that we may experience significant repentance in our nation and move forward quickly into the destiny that You have for us. We pray for extreme favor with each of the senators for every candidate that You want on the national security team and the rest of Trump’s staff. Revealed: New Orleans ISIS terrorist and Cybertruck bomber both served at Fort Bragg
|

|
Both men behind Wednesday’s dual suspected terror attacks in New Orleans and Las Vegas previously served at the same North Carolina Army base, The Post has learned.
Shamsud-Din Jabbar, who killed 14 people when he rammed his truck through New Year’s crowds on Bourbon Street, was an Army veteran who lived in Fayetteville in 2012.
Matthew Livelsberger, a former US Army special forces soldier, was the driver of the Cybertruck that exploded in Las Vegas.
He was assigned to the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division, which is headquartered Fort Bragg — now Fort Liberty — in 2013, according to a Facebook post by the division’s 1st Brigade Combat team in November 2013.

Creator of the Universe, You surely know what is going on in our nation right now—every facet of all things—particularly the who, what, when and how of the horrific terrorist attack in New Orleans and the exploding Tesla Cybertruck outside of the Las Vegas Trump Towers International. We humbly ask, Abba, that You reveal any connections between the New Orleans and Las Vegas events in ways that cannot be denied by anyone. Abba, we are really sick of the FBI mumbo-jumbo and their ‘confidence in their discoveries’ today or the lack of any conclusive evidence or resolution of the assassination attempts in 2024. May the FBI either be transformed into a well-run, useful and truthful agency or be eliminated.
Lord God, we plead for the truth of what has transpired before, during and after these extreme events and all possible connections unveiled, including any other individuals or groups involved in any way. We ask that, in Your love and mercy, You expose all sleeper cells and evil plans to harm within our nation that they can be neutralized.
Thank You that You are guiding President-elect Trump with Your wisdom in choosing those staff members who will truly work to bring speedy healing to our nation. May they all have ears to hear and eyes to see what You are doing and what You require from them. Glorify Your name, Father God!!!

The "game of drones" all began November 18 with perplexing mystery drones appearing in the sky over New Jersey and New York. The sightings of these drones have now expanded to include Connecticut and California.
