WHO director calls for world pandemic treaty to prepare for Disease X
Ghebreyesus told the World Economic Forum that he hoped countries would reach a pandemic agreement by May to address this 'common enemy'

World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Ghebreyesus has called on countries to sign on to the health organization’s pandemic treaty so the world can prepare for "Disease X."

Ghebreyesus, speaking in front of an audience at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Wednesday, said that he hoped countries would reach a pandemic agreement by May to address this "common enemy."

Disease X is a hypothetical "placeholder" virus that has not yet been formed, but scientists say it could be 20 times deadlier than COVID-19. It was added to the WHO’s short list of pathogens for research in 2017 that could cause a "serious international epidemic," according to a 2022 WHO press release. (Fox News) Read more here.

- Mighty King of Kings, we declare that the "common enemy" is all self-appointed dictators who are determined to rule the world at any cost, including releasing deadly pathogens into the atmosphere or water supply in order to gain control.  We bind and rebuke such tyranny in the mighty name of Jesus and declare that God will punish the wicked for their iniquity and lay low the haughtiness of the terrible" (Isaiah 13:11) so that the glory and goodness of God will be released upon this earth.  so that the whole earth is at rest and quiet; and people break forth into singing (Isaiah 14:7).  We know that this man wants to be the key ruler of the world and we stand against him, in Jesus name.  We also know that "they" are creating viruses in the labs and bind and crush that under the feet of Almighty God, for the glory of His created order in the earth, in Jesus name.  Amen!

Lawyer in Trump defamation case won't introduce 'Access Hollywood' tape ahead of possible testimony
Trump accuser E. Jean Carroll is seeking over $10 million

The infamous "Access Hollywood" tape will not be presented to New York jurors tasked with considering a defamation case against former President Donald Trump leveled by writer E. Jean Carroll.

Carroll's attorney, Roberta Kaplan, revealed that the jury would be presented with neither the tape nor two other women who accused Trump of abuse. The revelation means Trump's testimony in the case is likely to arrive sooner than expected, possibly Monday, one day before the Republican primary in New Hampshire.

Kaplan argued that she wants the trial to remain "focused" on Carroll's accusations, not Trump's other alleged sex crimes.

The new trial comes after a federal jury in New York City decided last year that Trump was not liable for rape but was liable for sexual abuse and defamation. The former president has been ordered to pay Carroll $5 million. (Fox News) Read more here.

- Father, we pray for righteous justice on behalf of President Trump, in Jesus' name and we bind and rebuke the accuser in Jesus' name.  We pray for this woman and the judge to both be troubled in their consciences by the fear of the Lord, leading them to truth and repentance.  Thank You Father, that we, the people, are now seeing and knowing the bigger picture regarding these many trumped-up charges.  We pray for Your continued presence in this matter, in Jesus' name. Amen

- "Look upon me and be merciful to me, As Your custom is toward those who love Your name.  Direct my steps by Your word, And let no iniquity have dominion over me.  Redeem me from the oppression of man, That I may keep Your precepts."  (Psalm 119:132-134)

The ‘Unexploded Bomb’ in the Constitution That’s Threatening the 2024 Election

The history behind Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which is being used to dislodge Trump from election ballots and is set to be heard by the Supreme Court.

In a great historical irony, one of the least studied parts of the U.S. Constitution is poised to unleash on the country a whirlwind of political vendetta.

However, the Supreme Court may still block such a consequence.

Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, the disqualification clause, was originally designed to punish rebels of the Civil War and generally overlooked as irrelevant since. In recent years, however, it has been dusted off by some scholars and wielded by Democrat activists and officials who say it bars former President Donald Trump from returning to office because of his role in the riot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

The Colorado Supreme Court has already concluded that President Trump engaged in insurrection and is thus disqualified under Section 3.

Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows made a similar finding. Similar efforts are underway in other states, including New York, California, and Pennsylvania.

The Supreme Court has agreed to hear the matter on an accelerated timetable, setting a hearing for Feb. 8. (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Holy One, this is an incredibly complex and vulnerable point of the Constitution, so we pray for divine wisdom and revelation for the Supreme Court who will be deciding the matter.  We pray that they submit themselves to Your guidance and the proper research is completed without bias or prejudice by all clerks, in Jesus name.  We declare that the right of all U.S. citizens to have equal opportunity to vote would supersede every state's effort to keep Donald Trump off the ballot and that no one is hindered from voting freely for the candidate of their choice, in Jesus name.

- "and said to the judges, 'Take heed to what you are doing, for you do not judge for man but for the Lord, who is with you in the judgment.  Now therefore, let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take care and do it, for there is no iniquity with the Lord our God, no partiality nor taking of bribes."  (2 Chronicles 19:6-7)

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1.  Netanyahu pushes back on report he told Biden he isn’t ruling out Palestinian state- Times of Israel

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pushed back Saturday against a report that he’d told US President Joe Biden he has not ruled out the creation of a Palestinian state.

The rare statement put out by Netanyahu’s office on Shabbat came after CNN, citing a person familiar with the conversation, reported that Netanyahu told Biden that the public comments he had made a day earlier — in which the prime minister appeared to reject the idea of creating a Palestinian state — were not meant to rule out that outcome entirely.

“In his conversation last night with President Biden, Prime Minister Netanyahu repeated his consistent position for years, which he also expressed at a press conference the day before: after the elimination of Hamas, Israel must remain in full security control of the Gaza Strip to ensure that Gaza will no longer pose a threat to Israel — and this conflicts with demands for Palestinian sovereignty,” the PMO statement said on Saturday afternoon. 2. Netanyahu rejects Hamas' conditions: Only absolute victory will ensure hostages' return - Israel National News

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday rejected Hamas' demands for a prisoner swap, which include a cessation of the fighting.

"We are continuing the war on all fronts and in all sectors. We are not giving immunity to any terrorist: Not in Gaza, not in Lebanon, not in Syria and not anywhere. Whoever tries to harm us, we will harm him," Netanyahu promised.

"Regarding our hostages, we have returned home – as of today – 110 of our hostages and we are obligated to returning all of them. This is one of the goals of the war and the military pressure is a necessary condition to achieving it.

"I am working on this around the clock. But let it be clear: I utterly reject the Hamas monsters' capitulation terms." (Read more)

3.  Report: Top IDF commanders believe freeing hostages not compatible with goal of destroying Hamas -Times of Israel

Senior Israel Defense Force commanders now believe that Israel’s two stated goals of destroying Hamas and freeing the hostages are not compatible, The New York Times reports.

Four senior commanders, speaking on condition of anonymity, tell the Times that “the dual objectives of freeing the hostages and destroying Hamas are now mutually incompatible.”

The report says it has reviewed Israeli battle plans from the start of the war and that the IDF is currently in control of a smaller part of the Strip than originally envisioned. (Read more)

4.  Israel eyeing January deadline for diplomatic solution with Hezbollah - JNS

Israel told the United States late last month that the time frame to distance Hezbollah from the border via a diplomatic agreement was the end of January, according to The Washington Post.

Citing a Western diplomat and three Lebanese officials, the report, published on Friday, noted however that the Israeli government has not set a “hard deadline.”

Hezbollah launched a low-intensity conflict against the Jewish state in the aftermath of Hamas’s Oct. 7 massacre, firing rockets, drones and anti-tank missiles at northern Israeli cities on a near-daily basis and forcing the evacuation of some 80,000 civilians from their homes.

White House envoy Amos Hochstein has been conducting shuttle diplomacy between Jerusalem in Beirut with a view to negotiating a deal for Hezbollah to withdraw its forces several miles from the border. (U.N. Security Council Resolution 1701, forged in the wake of the 2006 Second Lebanon War between Israel and Hezbollah, called for the terror group to withdraw beyond the Litani River, some 25 miles north of the Israeli border). 5. IDF says reservist Uriel Aviad Silberman killed in battle in Gaza over the weekend - Times of Israel

The IDF announces the death of a soldier killed during fighting in the southern Gaza Strip over the weekend, bringing the toll of slain troops in the ground offensive against Hamas to 195.

He is named as Sgt. First Class (res.) Uriel Aviad Silberman, 23, of the Kiryati Brigade’s 7421st Battalion, from Nehalim.

Another officer and soldier of the same battalion were seriously wounded in the same battle, the IDF says. (Read more)

1. Western Officials Concerned About Missile That Iran Used In Recent Attacks: Report - Restoring Liberty

Western intelligence and defense officials are reportedly concerned about the missile that the Islamic Republic of Iran used this week to conduct strikes in neighboring countries in the Middle East and Asia.

Iran launched attacks early this week inside Syria and Iraq, claiming that it targeted militant groups and Israel’s Mossad.

Iran then upped the stakes with their belligerent behavior when they launched attacks against militant groups inside Pakistan. Pakistan, which faces a giant adversary in India on the other side of the country, was forced to respond with its own attacks against groups inside Iran.

The attacks grabbed officials’ attention due to the range and the accuracy that Iran’s missiles had, which far surpassed the capabilities of their old Soviet-era missiles.

The New York Times reported that the West had long believed the only threat that Iran posed was its cyberattacks, which even then were limited compared to Western cyber abilities. (Read more here.)

- Father, we pray for wisdom regarding the concern over Iran's missile capabilities. May we not be ignorant of what they are capable of. Keep us on our toes in Jesus name in regards to Iran.

- "See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil." (Ephesians 5:15-16)

2. According to Insider, Trump May Pick this Representative as his Running Mate - Restoring Liberty

Former President Donald Trump is reportedly considering Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) as his potential vice presidential pick if he secures the Republican Party’s nomination. The news surfaced following Stefanik’s announcement that she would be campaigning alongside Trump in New Hampshire ahead of the state’s pivotal first-in-the-nation primaries.

According to NBC News, the revelation took place during a candlelit dinner at Mar-a-Lago in late December, where Trump engaged in discussions about crucial decisions he would face if he became the Republican nominee. Attendees at the dinner table brought up Stefanik, praising her notable performance just weeks prior when she grilled university presidents about antisemitism on campus during a congressional hearing.

Describing Stefanik as a “killer,” Trump signaled his approval at the thought of her as a potential running mate, according to sources present at the event. Since then, a growing circle of allies, including individuals within Trump’s orbit, Stefanik’s fundraising bundlers, and former Trump administration officials, have been closely examining her as a viable vice presidential candidate, according to the report. (Read more)

- Lord, we pray this is the right choice for Trump regarding his running mate. Surround him with men and women filled with wisdom and strategy in regards to his running mate.

- "Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom."     (Proverbs 13:10)

3. State Pleading With Private Homeowners to Take In Illegal Aliens - Restoring Liberty

The state of Massachusetts is asking private homeowners to take in illegal aliens as the state runs out of room to house the thousands of border crossers who are still flooding into the Bay State.

Massachusetts is the only state that has a state-wide “right to housing” rule for homeless families. And with that rule in mind, Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey (D) has repeatedly asked legal residents to open up their homes to illegal immigrants for whom officials are having a hard time finding beds.

Healey declared a “state of emergency” over the influx of illegal aliens in August, saying in her declaration, “There are currently nearly 5,600 families or more than 20,000 individuals in state shelter, including children and pregnant women.”

One solution Healey and her allies have suggested is housing migrants in private homes.

Days after Healey’s declaration, Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll (D) told the state, “Most importantly, if you have an extra room or suite in your home, please consider hosting a family. Housing and shelter is our most pressing need and become a sponsor family.” (Read more)

- Lord, have mercy on us on the way the United States has handled the immigration crisis. Homeowners can't be expected to house the immigrants when the government is not managing the situation well at the border.

- "Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you." (Proverbs 1:23)

4. WHO’s Pandemic Agreement Threatens National Sovereignty, Free Speech, and Life - Washington Stand

(Please read this detailed article by going here.)

- We pray against this pandemic agreement in Jesus name. Cause this to fail on every side.

- "With the Lord’s authority I say this: Live no longer as the Gentiles do, for they are hopelessly confused." (Ephesians 4:17 NLT)

5. We Will Fight You to the Death”: Bannon Sends Chilling Warning to Speaker Johnson… - Restoring Liberty

Many conservatives have had it with Speaker Mike Johnson. He seems to have transitioned from a MAGA man to a Swamp insider surprisingly quickly, and the natives are getting very restless. One of the voices calling out Speaker Johnson the loudest is none other than War Room creator and America First loyalist Steve Bannon.

However, it wasn’t always this way for Mike. He started off promising and had a lot of MAGA support behind him. But things went sideways, and his troubles started with the January 6 footage. He promised to release it all but ended up pulling a no-show, just like McCarthy did. That left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth, and Mike’s been going downhill ever since. . (Read more here).

- Father God, we come against this vicious spirit that would seek to divide the Republicans in the House of Representatives, and call it null and void by the Blood of the Lamb in Jesus' name. We bind divisiveness and loose unity, in Your Name, amen and amen!

- "“Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." (Matthew 18:18)

6. Anti-globalists crash Davos party, warn elites socialism endangers the West - Fox News

World and business leaders speaking at last week’s Davos World Economic Forum hit attendees with some hard truths about the global and political tumult they face, led by Argentina’s firebrand President Javier Milei claiming that "the Western world is in danger."

Milei said the West "is in danger because those who are supposed to have defended the values of the West are co-opted by a vision of the world that inevitably leads to socialism and thereby to poverty."

"Unfortunately, in recent decades, motivated by some well-meaning individuals willing to help others, and others motivated by the wish to belong to a privileged caste, the main leaders of the Western world have abandoned the model of freedom for different versions of what we call collectivism," he continued.

"We’re here to tell you that collectivist experiments are never the solution to the problems that afflict the citizens of the world, rather they are the root cause," Milei insisted. "Do believe me, no one [is] in a better place than us Argentines to testify to these two points." (Read more)

- Thank you for the crashing of this Davos party which definitely needed to be crashed and interrupted with all the evil going on there.

- "Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God." (Galatians 5:19-21)
7. Antisemitism is getting worse as more 'shocking' and 'scary' incidents are exposed, DC residents say - Fox News

The antisemitic incidents ADL documented include 56 physical assaults, 554 accounts of vandalism and 1,300 reports of verbal or written harassment. More than 1,300 rallies included antisemitic rhetoric, with at least 500 of the incidents occurring on college campuses, according to the group.

Some Jewish Americans have felt unsafe on campus following antisemitic acts or violent threats. Harvard University students, for example, filed a lawsuit against the college, arguing that the Ivy League school is allowing "antisemitism cancer" to grow on campus.

"I can't understand it," Jacqueline said. "How can you hate somebody just because they were born different or look different or think different?" (Read more)

- We pray for our country. We pray for hearts to be changed and antisemitism to decrease!

- "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." (Ezekiel 36:26-27)

8. Vice President Kamala Harris Launches Reproductive Freedoms Tour - The White House

Since the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision, the Vice President has held more than 50 convenings in at least 16 states while bringing together hundreds of state legislators, state attorneys general, health care providers, faith leaders, students, and advocates who are on the frontlines of the fight for [abortion].

The Vice President’s “Fight for Reproductive Freedoms” tour will kick off with an event in Wisconsin on Jan. 22, the 51st anniversary of Roe v. Wade. (Read more)

- Father God, we stand in repentance for this initiative sponsored officially by the White House. Forgive us, O Lord, we pray, amen!

Hard-Heartedness And God’s Will

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, January 22, 2024

God is a God of freedom. He gives us choices on how to live our lives. He also has provided a handbook on the best ways to live out our lives with examples of what not to do. Life, for most of us, is kind of messy at times. There are peaks and valleys, good times and bad, sickness and health—perhaps this is why traditional wedding vows list characteristics of life so the married couple understands what is required to endure. How many times have you heard the words “I guess you will just have to learn the hard way” from someone trying to guide by their own experience? Some learn. Others keep repeating their mistakes until they have cemented their ways beyond repair. It’s called hard-heartedness.

Pharaoh in Exodus is an example of how not listening to God and choosing wisely results in a hard heart with severe consequences. God gave Pharaoh the choice to free the Israelites. Pharaoh refused. God sent 10 plagues with intensifying consequences each time Pharaoh refused. The Hebrew word for sign is, “ot”, and actually means more than just an outward occurrence, it is a coded communication or a message. There were multiple layers of messages in the plagues. One was to get Pharaoh to release the Israelites. Another was to punish Pharaoh and his people for the mistreatment of the Israelites. Still another was to show the powerlessness of their gods, even unto Pharaoh who saw himself as a god. All said and done, Pharaoh became more prideful and his heart continued to harden with each plague. Read More

Indonesia's Mount Merapi unleashes lava as other volcanoes flare up, forcing thousands to evacuate

YOGYAKARTA, Indonesia — Indonesia’s Mount Merapi erupted Sunday, spreading searing gas clouds and avalanches of lava down its slopes as other active volcanoes flared up across the country, forcing the evacuation of thousands.

On the densely populated island of Java, Merapi unleashed clouds of hot ash and a mixture of rock, and lava that traveled up to 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) down its slopes, said Agus Budi Santoso, the head of Indonesia’s Geological Disaster Technology Research and Development Center. A column of hot clouds blasted 100 meters (about 109 yards) into the air as ash blanketed several villages without casualties, he added.

Merapi is the most active out of more than 120 volcanoes across the country. Sunday’s eruption is the latest since authorities raised its alert level to the second-highest in November 2020 after sensors picked up increasing activity. Residents living on the slopes were advised to stay 7 kilometers (4.3 miles) away from the crater’s mouth and be aware of possible threats from flowing lava.

In 2010, an eruption killed 347 people and displaced 20,000 villagers.

The 2,968-meter (9,737-foot) mountain is about 30 kilometers (18 miles) from Yogyakarta, an ancient center of Javanese culture and the seat of royal dynasties going back centuries. About a quarter million people live within 10 kilometers (6 miles) of the volcano.

Several other active volcanoes also blew up this weekend, prompting authorities to evacuate thousands of residents, said Indonesia’s Center for Volcanology and Geological Disaster Mitigation in a statement released on social media platform X, formerly Twitter. No casualties were reported, it said. Read More

As Global Christian Persecution Rages, New Effort Seeks to 'Awaken the Church'
As global persecution rages, a watchdog has launched a first-of-its-kind, open-sourced database allowing people to track incidents of violent religious persecution. Global Christian Relief and the International Institute for Religious Freedom have teamed up to create the Violent Incidents Database (VID), which is being dubbed the “first and only events-based global religious freedom dataset.” David Curry, CEO of Global Christian Relief, told CBN News the database will help give a voice to persecuted Christians and others across the world, as it tracks killings, abductions, forced marriages, arrests, and other acts of persecution, allowing users to search by religion, country, and perpetrator. “I’m concerned about … this enormous growth in religious persecution, be it the persecution of Christians, which is the largest minority group, as far as numbers, that faces severe persecution, or if it’s antisemitism,” Curry said, warning that there are diabolical “governments, and dictators, and extremists” who want to control peoples religious inclinations.

He pointed to the plight of not just Christians but also groups like Uyghurs whom the Chinese have rounded up and put in concentration camps. Plus, nations like Nigeria face escalating persecution crises, with Christians being slaughtered by Muslim extremists at a rapid rate. Persecution, Curry said, is a plight that must be called out and halted. “I’m a follower of Jesus, and I want to support the church, the persecuted believers, wherever they may be, to practice their faith, to worship Jesus, to read their Bible in peace, civilly, within whatever country and context they’re in,” he said. “We need to wake up on this subject and know that we are called to pray for, care for, support people who are persecuted for the name of Jesus, imprisoned for the name of Jesus, abducted for the name of Jesus,” he said. “We need to stand up for this freedom. … I want the church to awaken.” Read More and Watch Interview Here.

- Father, we BLESS this team effort between Global Christian Relief and the International Institute for Religious Freedom! May the church awaken to diligently pray for our brothers and sisters who are suffering around the world for claiming Jesus as Lord and Savior.  We pray the creation of this new database will shine a bright-light upon the growing attacks of persecution against Christians, Jews and other religions. Raise a new level of awareness and Holy Spirit intercession so we may fight the spiritual battle of atrocities suffered by followers of Jesus Christ around the world in the Mighty Name of Yeshua! Amen

The Sinner's Prayer

Scripture: Thinking He was the gardener, she said, Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where you have put Him, and I will get Him. John 20:15

Lyrics:
I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear falling on my ear
The Son of God discloses.

Refrain
And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known.

He speaks, and the sound of His voice,
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,
And the melody that He gave to me
Within my heart is ringing.

Refrain

I’d stay in the garden with Him
Though the night around me be falling,
But He bids me go; through the voice of woe
His voice to me is calling.

Refrain
