Tucker Carlson Highlights New Jan. 6 Documentary:
"Everything You Have Heard is a Lie"

‘Our leadership class is poisonous, power mad and dangerous,’ Carlson said. And this is not the case for ‘the people who showed up at the Capitol to protest the theft of their democratic election.’
Tucker Carlson promoted a new independent documentary on the January 6, 2021 disturbance that he said “should be the most famous film in the United States” as it “shows you what actually happened at the [U.S.] Capitol” that day.
For the last three years, the media and the political “uniparty” made up of Democrats and Republican leadership has worked diligently to project and maintain a narrative that January 6 was an “armed insurrection” against the government of the United States led by President Donald Trump, Carlson explained in a January 8 commentary on his own new network.
The reasons for this are “because January 6th is a perfect way” for this ruling class “to get what it wants: to suppress the population, to keep Donald Trump from running for president again, and to put its enemies in jail,” Carlson explained.
And they have been successful at keeping many Americans in the dark on this by limiting what can be seen from that day’s events, he argued.
Yet, ironically, “there’s probably no event in American history that was filmed by more people from more angles than January 6th,” the former cable news star said. “And yet, until very recently, no one had put together a timeline” of that day’s events.
“It’s called January 6th: A True Timeline, and it should be the most famous film in the United States, but it’s not. We’re hoping that changes soon,” he continued. (Lifesite News) Read more.

The United States Has the Biggest Government in the History of the World By a Very Wide Margin
|
|
How does it feel to have the largest government that the planet has ever seen? When I was growing up, I was taught that we had a capitalist system and that we had a limited federal government. Of course neither of those things has been true for a very long time. Today, the United States has the biggest government in the history of the world, and it gets even bigger with each passing year. Running that gigantic government requires more money than we actually have, and so we are going into staggering amounts of debt
. But there is no way that our politicians will ever agree to reduce the size of the federal government to an appropriate size. So we are stuck with this system until the day when it finally collapses.
Let me give you some numbers that illustrate what I am talking about.
-Approximately 3 million people work directly for the federal government.
-The federal government spent 6.13 trillion dollars in 2023. That figure is larger than the GDP of every nation on the entire planet except for the U.S. and China.
-More than 70 million Americans are on Social Security.
-More than 65 million Americans are on Medicare.
-More than 81 million Americans are on Medicaid.
-More than 41 million Americans are on food stamps.

1. Israel-Hamas War: IDF will carry on until 'total victory' in Gaza - Netanyahu -Jerusalem Post
The IDF's war on Hamas on all fronts will continue until all targets are met, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stressed in a Thursday evening press conference.
"The victory will take a few more months, but we are determined to reach it," the prime minister
Netanyahu also lamented the press for "doubting" Israel's ability to defeat Hamas. "The government, under my leadership, will not settle for anything less than a total victory."

2. Amid the war: Israel to give in to the Red Cross - Israel National News
Israel has agreed to disclose information to the International Red Cross about Gazans held in Israeli prisons who were arrested after Hamas's October 7th massacre.
The move comes despite the fact that the Red Cross has not given any information regarding the Israeli hostages being held by the terror group since the massacre.
Channel 12 published a draft of the state's answer to the Supreme Court on the matter which states: "We will allow the disclosure of information about the detainees in Israeli prisons who were jailed after October 7th."
The majority of security branches agreed with the explanation that Israel must disclose the information according to international law, but National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir opposed the answer. (Read more)

3. Herzog: ‘No Israelis in their right mind’ are thinking about peace process right now - Times of Israel
Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, next to a photo of one-year-old Israeli hostage Kfir Bibas, President Isaac Herzog said on Thursday that Israelis are not able to think about a peace process with the Palestinians right now.
“If you ask an average Israeli now about his or her mental state, nobody in his right mind is willing now to think about what will be the solution of the peace agreements,” he said in an interview on the WEF main stage, “because everybody wants to know: Can we be promised real safety in the future?”
After the unprecedented slaughter in southern Israel by Hamas terrorists on October 7, “every Israeli wants to know that he will not be attacked in the same way from north or south or east,” Herzog said. (Read more)

4. Arab plan outlines hostage release, Saudi normalization, Palestinian state–FT - World Israel News
A plan put forward by an Arab official proposes a ceasefire in Gaza, the release of all hostages, normalization of relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia and a Palestinian State, as reported by The Financial Times.
The Arab official expressed a desire that the plan be considered and implemented in a few months to prevent the Middle East conflict from escalating.
The plan has been discussed with US and European governments which would be required to recognize the Palestinian State and to provide it with full membership in the United Nations.
“The real issue is you need hope for Palestinians, it can’t just be economic benefits or removal of symbols of occupation,” the senior official said. (Read more)

5. Released Hostages Speak at World Economic Forum, Urge Action - Algemeiner
A group of released hostages spoke on Thursday before the World Economic Forum, currently underway in Davos, Switzerland.
“Hamas terrorists desecrated the most peaceful place and turned it into a bloodbath. On the way to Gaza I was beaten, I thought my life was over, I prayed that I would die quickly and without suffering,” said Moran Stela Yanai, a 40-year-old who was kidnapped from the Nova music festival in Re’im on October 7 and released as part of the November hostage deal. “Every minute we thought we would be raped. We couldn’t sleep, we couldn’t breathe, we weren’t allowed to speak. The captivity in Gaza included never-ending anxiety attacks and nightmares. Every day left a scar on the soul,” she continued.
Another former hostage, Niki Margalit, a 41-year-old nurse at Soroka Hospital in the south who was reported to have acted in her professional capacity taking care of fellow hostages in Gaza, said “By profession I am a nurse in a children’s emergency room, and I realized that there too I have to help and take care of those around me. But without medical supplies, this is an almost impossible task. In addition to the injuries and the sick, there is not enough air to breathe, not enough food, and [lack of] basic hygiene. The body is so weak that any disease can kill you. The abductees can die every day! Every hour is dangerous for them.” (Read more)

There are clearly many doctors who are dense but it can’t be all of them, yet so few ever speak up to state the obvious.

5. Israeli Left Pushing for PA Control of Gaza and Future Palestinian State-JNS.org
In the wake of Oct. 7, far-left NGO Mitvim started strategizing so as not to miss a "historic" opportunity.
While for most Israelis, Oct. 7 was a wake-up call to the dangers of a Palestinian state (a Jan. 10 poll found 74% opposed to the idea), within weeks of the massacre a New Israel Fund (NIF)-supported think tank started working to shape Israeli policy for the “day after.”
In their vision, the “day after” means a two-state solution in which the Palestinian Authority would become the government of the new country.Mitvim (its full title is The Israeli Institute for Regional Foreign Policies) partnered in October with the Berl Katznelson Foundation, another NIF-funded organization, to form a working group composed of “Israel-Palestinian experts from various disciplines, research institutes, academia and civil society organizations.”

6. Gallant: Unless Hamas is Destroyed, We Will Not Be Able to Live in Israel – JNS.org Earlier this week, the Israeli defense minister signaled the impending end to heavy combat operations in Gaza.
The Israel Defense Forces will keep fighting in the Gaza Strip until Hamas’s “significant military and governing capabilities” are eliminated and the 130-plus hostages held captive by the terror group are returned, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said on Wednesday, mere days after announcing a significant reduction in military operations in Gaza.
“If the fate of Hamas is not complete dismantlement, we will not be able to live in the State of Israel,” Gallant told members of the Israeli Navy’s Shayetet 13 naval commando unit at a base in Atlit, near Haifa.“The end of this war—whenever it may be—will be based on our achievements. This will include destroying Hamas’s ability to operate with military and governing capabilities. We will maintain freedom of operation,” said Gallant, according to a statement from his office.
“In northern Gaza, we are dismantling their capabilities, dismantling their battalion frameworks. This enables an IDF brigades to maneuver from place to place: Beit Lahiya, Beit Hanoun and Jabalia,” he continued. “The same goes for areas in the center of the Gaza Strip, and we will achieve this in Khan Yunis as well. In New York, as in the Belgian parliament, you can meet more and more people who are convinced that the Islamization of Brussels -- and London and other capitals, they often add -- is now inevitable and only a matter of time.The growth of the Muslim population in Brussels has been both enormous and meteoric. Over the past 50 years, the number of Muslims has grown steadily, and given the erasure of Europe's borders, thanks to the 1985 Schengen Agreement, there seems to be no end in sight.

As many countries in Europe do not designate people by race or ethnicity, figures are not easy to establish. If we want to remain scientific and factual, it is not by noting the popularity of the first name Mohamed. The last reliable study on the number of Muslims, unfortunately, was done by Prof Jan Hertogen, dates from 2015/2016, and has been adopted by the US State Department. According to that study, the percentage of Muslims in Brussels in 2015 was 24% of the population. More recent figures have been provided by the Pew Research Center, but only for Belgium as a whole, without details by city. In another, 2016 poll, 29% of Brussels residents claimed to be Muslim. Looking at the growth curve, we can estimate that the percentage of Muslims now in Brussels is likely to be slightly beyond 30%. (Read more)

8. More Abuse Reported: Heating System Shut Down on Political Prisoners in DC Gulag – With Freezing Temperatures Outside – The Gateway Pundit
Earlier Wednesday The Gateway Pundit was notified that the heating system at the DC Gulag was no longer working. From our friend and contact L.: “I just got two messages from the DC Gulag.
One was from Chris: “We have had no heat or hot water for 48 hours. Inside temperature is probably about 55 degrees (no exaggeration). The guards have on hoodies, jackets, and wool winter hats in the c3a pod. No extra blankets have been passed out. Please blast out a message to local news and online. Tell Congress and the Marshals.
Just saw this from Matt: the guys started yelling and now we are locked down in our freezing cells. All of the correction officers are wearing winter jackets. This is not right! We need people to call Congress, the Marshals and the jail about the freezing conditions.
Jeff also said his Texas jail cell is freezing.
On Wednesday night, The Gateway Pundit received a call from Mark in the DC Gulag. Mark confirmed that the heat has been off in the DC Gulag since the cold temperatures hit the area.

Pfizer Study Shows Early COVID Vax Ineffective

An October-December 2023 study of 4,232 positive COVID cases and 19,775 controls in the Kaiser Permanente Southern California health system sponsored by Pfizer indicated that early COVID vaccines “offered little, if any, additional protection compared to the unvaccinated, including against COVID-19 hospital admission, regardless of the number or type of prior doses received.” This despite the federal government insisting the vaccines were safe and effective, using corporate media to censor those who disagreed, hospital systems firing doctors and nurses who didn’t comply, and bullying people to take the vaccines or risk being barred from participation in society.
Authors wrote in the study abstract, “Compared to the unvaccinated, those who had received only older versions of COVID-19 vaccines did not show significantly reduced risk of COVID-19 outcomes, including hospital admission… Older versions of COVID-19 vaccines offered little, if any, additional protection compared to the unvaccinated, including against COVID-19 hospital admission, regardless of the number or type of prior doses received.” The study, however, indicated that the newer COVID vaccines provided significant additional protection against a range of COVID-19 outcomes. Interesting that this study paid for by Pfizer admits that the old COVID vaccines didn’t work, but now that Pfizer is promoting a new vaccine, the study says it works. Senate passes short-term spending bill to fund govt until March, says there will be no shutdown

The Senate passed a second "laddered" short-term spending bill, known as a continuing resolution (CR), to fund government agencies through March. The House will now have to vote on the legislation to avert a government shutdown by Friday.
Senators passed the bill, with a bipartisan majority of 77 to 18 voting for the CR Thursday afternoon. The House is expected to take up the bill later Thursday night.
"There will not be a shutdown on Friday, because both sides have worked together, the government will stay open. Services will not be disrupted. We will avoid a needless disaster," Sen. Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said on the floor Thursday ahead of the vote.
"Avoiding a shutdown is very good news for every American, especially for our veterans, our parents, our children, our farmers, our small businesses, and so many others who would have felt the sting of a government shutdown," he said.

Republican House and Senate leaders filed an amicus brief in support of former President Donald Trump's case against the Colorado Supreme Court for removing him from the state's 2024 ballot. More than 170 lawmakers signed the brief.

Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La., filed the brief on Thursday, arguing the court's decision "encroaches" on Congress' powers and that Congress must pass authorizing legislation to enforce the 14th Amendment, which the Colorado Supreme Court cited as the basis for removing Trump.
"The radical left consistently does what they claim their opponents are doing. While President Biden and his allies claim they are defending democracy, their supporters are working to undermine democracy by banning Biden’s likely general election opponent from appearing on the ballot," Cruz said in a statement to Fox News Digital. "The American people see through this, and I’m confident the Supreme Court will as well."
House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, R-Minn., one of the lawmakers who signed the brief, said "liberal activist judges" are weaponizing the legal system against Trump "solely because they despise him."
Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., another signer, said the Colorado Supreme Court "mis-stepped and overstepped."
Lawmakers assert in the 29-page amicus brief that it infringes on the prerogatives of Congress members and argue the court overlooked various textual and structural limitations in Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which says no one shall assume office if they have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the U.S. government. Argentina’s Javier Milei denounces ‘bloody abortion agenda’ at 2024 Davos summit

DAVOS, Switzerland (LifeSiteNews) — Argentine President Javier Milei has called out population control and the “bloody abortion agenda” during his speech at the World Economic Forum (WEF).
During his special address, Milei said that “another conflict presented by socialists is that of humans against nature, claiming that we human beings damage the planet which should be protected at all cost even going as far as advocating for population control mechanism or the bloody abortion agenda.”
“Unfortunately, these harmful ideas have taken a stronghold in our society. Neo-Marxists have managed to co-opt the common sense of the Western world, and this they have achieved by appropriating the media, culture, universities, and also international organizations. The latter case is the most serious one probably because these are institutions that have an enormous influence on the political and economic decisions of the countries that make up the multilateral organizations.”

In his speech, the libertarian President offered a general critique of socialism and “collectivist ideas” and promoted capitalism as the only viable system that leads to prosperity.

Storm provides a rare glimpse of a 112-year-old shipwreck
|

(CNN) — Vicious winter storms have pummeled much of the US in recent days, bringing bitter cold and hazardous conditions. In Maine, where record-breaking storm surges have caused severe flooding, the weather also brought a rare glimpse of a 112-year-old shipwreck at Acadia National Park.
The two-masted schooner Tay ran aground on Mount Desert Island in July 1911, resulting in the death of the ship’s cook. The Tay, captained by I.W. Scott of St. John, New Brunswick, sprung a leak during a storm, according to an article that appeared shortly after the wreck in the Bar Harbor Record. Captain Scott tried unsuccessfully to make it to harbor.
“The main sheet parted and then he lost his main boom. Capt. Scott attempted to stand off shore under head sails, but he was too far in and was swept inside the breakers,” the article recounts. “The Tay struck hard and was dismasted fore and aft at the first shock and began to go to pieces rapidly.”
Some Acadia National Park visitors were able to see a large section of the ship’s impressive bones on Mount Desert Island’s Sand Beach after a storm on January 10 brought the wreck to the surface.
Bar Harbor local Molly Moon, whose family’s ties to the area date back generations, went to the beach at low tide on Thursday, a day after the storm, to take photos of the wreckage at sunset.
“It was a rare experience, to peek back at history that has been buried just below our noses for over a hundred years,” Moon told CNN Travel in an email. “I was reminded how blessed I am to live in this beautiful area and relate to the rich history here.” Read More

Miracle: IDF Soldier goes to pray, sees terrorist sneaking up to kill

Yanon Magal, a journalist and politician, posted a remarkable video on Twitter. The video reportedly shows IDF troops operating in Al-Bureji, Gaza. The video shows IDF troops firing at a terrorist who surprised them by coming up behind them from a hidden entrance to a tunnel. “This event ended with no casualties to our forces and the elimination of the terrorist because a reservist named Malchiel ben Yosef who went to pray Mincha (afternoon prayers) identified the terrorist in front of him coming out of a shaft with an RPG (rocket-propelled grenade) from behind the unit…This is real!”
The IDF soldiers were advancing and had already passed the tunnel without discovering it. They had stopped moving and Malcheil took the opportunity to pray. He turned towards the rear to face Jerusalem, as Jewish law requires. It was at that point that Malchiel saw the terrorist exit the tunnel and begin to advance on them. He called out to the other soldiers, “He wants to ‘sew’ us from behind!” A firefight ensued and the terrorist was neutralized. A grenade was dropped into the tunnel to ensure that no more terrorists would be disturbing Malchiel’s afternoon prayers. As the soldiers discussed the incident, Malchiel noted that the terrorist had tried to fire the RPG at the soldiers but suffered a misfire. “He tried to fire but it didn’t fire,” he said. “It was pointed right at us!” (Watch Video)
