Top Republican torches Hunter Biden wrinkle in docs probe: 'We're looking into that'

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer questioned first son Hunter Biden's purported ties to his father's New Castle County, Del. home, where classified documents were found.
On "Hannity," host Sean Hannity cited reports Hunter used the Barley Mill Road address of President Biden's Wilmington-area home as his own on official forms, including a background check document and his credit card account in 2018.
Hannity cited a reported $50,000 per month payment, remarking such a sum would be a realistic amount for prime real estate in Florida or California, but not necessarily in Wilmington's albeit tony Greenville suburb.
"Yeah, that doesn't make sense. We're looking into that," Comer responded, adding the revelation is one reason his panel is requesting bank records and wants more information on Hunter's reported "suspicious activity reports" from the U.S. Treasury.

White House claimed Biden's Delaware house used for official business but now says it's 'personal'

The White House has previously claimed that President Joe Biden works while taking trips to his Wilmington, Delaware, home, but it is now claiming that the residence is "personal" amid a number of classified documents being found at the address.
During a White House press briefing on Feb. 25, 2022, former press secretary Jen Psaki said that Biden can get work done from anywhere.
"I will note that, while every president can work from anywhere they are because that is how presidencies are equipped, he is traveling to Delaware for the memorial service of a family member. And he will be — that is why he’s traveling there this weekend," Psaki said.
"The president has the capacity to make a secure call from anywhere he is, yes," she added. (Read more)

Russia to Boost Troops in West, Expanding Army to 1.5 Million People
|
|
Russia will create new commands near Europe as it expands its military to 1.5 million people amid deepening tensions with the US and its allies over the Kremlin’s invasion of Ukraine.
New structures in the regions around Moscow, St. Petersburg and Karelia on the border with Finland will be created under the program, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu told commanders Tuesday, saying the major changes will start this year and continue through 2026. In addition, he said, “self-sufficient” units will be set up on the Ukrainian territories that Russia has illegally annexed.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the military expansion came in response to the “proxy war” he claimed the US and its allies are waging against Russia in Ukraine, Interfax reported. Kyiv and its allies are fighting to fend off Russia’s invasion of its neighbor.
Russian President Vladimir Putin last month approved Shoigu’s plan to boost the size of his military from the current target level of 1.15 million but the Kremlin hasn’t said how fast that will take place. (Bloomberg) Read more here.

1. Lapid: Fire Deri or else there will be a constitutional crisis - Israel National News
Leaders of the opposition parties demanded that Shas chairman Aryeh Deri resign and that Prime Minister Netanyahu fire him from the Cabinet following to the Supreme Court's rulingWednesday afternoon disqualifying Deri from serving as a government minister.
Opposition leader Yair Lapid warned that if Deri continues to serve as a minister, the result would be a constitutional crisis.
“If Aryeh Deri isn’t fired, the government will be breaking the law,” Lapid said, warning that Israel "will be thrust into an unprecedented constitutional crisis and will no longer be a democracy” if this is not done. (Read more)

The Supreme Court, in its capacity as the High Court of Justice, ruled Wednesday that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu must fire Health Minister Aryeh Deri, presenting the Israeli leader with a potential coalition crisis and deepening a rift over the power of the courts.
Ten of 11 judges on the high court found that Deri, the influential head of the ultra-Orthodox Shas party who has served repeatedly in Netanyahu's previous governments, is disqualified from serving as a minister after he was convicted last year for tax offenses and placed on probation as part of a plea deal under which he promised he would not be in public service. Deri has pledged not to quit and met after the ruling with Netanyahu.
"Most of the judges on the panel decided that this appointment suffers from extreme unreasonability, and therefore the prime minister must remove Deri from his position," the court said in a statement. (Read more)

Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations (UN) Gilad Erdan on Wednesday accused Palestinian leadership of obstructing the peace process by waging a “jihad war of multilateral terrorism” meant to “destroy the Jewish state.”
Speaking before the UN’s Security Council, Erdan’s remarks also addressed the Palestinians’ role in the passage of a UN General Assembly plenary resolutionasking the International Court of Justice to issue an advisory opinion on the “occupied” Palestinian territories.
“One of the weapons that they use in this jihad war is the manipulation and abuse of international bodies,” Erdan said.
“They weaponize these bodies in order to force Israel into surrendering to their demands,” he added, charging that the Palestinians are leveraging anti-Israel bias in the United Nations to impose on Israel multilateral actions that reflect exclusively their narratives and policy preferences. 2. UN envoy thanks Hezbollah terror group, draws rebuke from Israeli officials - Fox News
A United Nations official on Monday thanked a representative of Hezbollah for giving her a "tour d’horizon" of Lebanese issues, drawing a rebuke from Israeli officials. Joanna Wronecka, the U.N.’s special coordinator for Lebanon, tweeted her thanks to Ammar Moussawi, head of international relations for Hezbollah, which is designated as a terrorist organization by the State Department.
"I thank Mr. Ammar Moussawi of Hizbullah (sic) for a tour d’horizon on issues of priority for #Lebanon, including the election of a new President, the functioning of state institutions and the impact of regional and international developments on the country," Wronecka wrote.
Several Israeli officials criticized the tweet.
"Is this real..??," wrote Joshua Zarka, head of strategic affairs in Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. "An official Senior UN Representative thanks the terrorist organization responsible for the murder of a UN peace keeper for ‘a tour d’horizon’!!!" (Read more)

3. Biden administration wants to bring mask mandates BACK onto flights - The Daily Mail
Joe Biden's administration is fighting to reinstate a federal mask mandate for air travel – even after the president declared in September that the COVID-19 pandemic is 'over', and it's been nearly a year since domestic airline passengers have been required to mask up on flights.
The Justice Department argued the case before the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals Tuesday on behalf of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The legal battle to require face-coverings on flights is not popular among travel industry groups for a myriad of reasons ranging from passengers who refused to mask-up to airlines who don't want any more controversy after a series of issues led to mass delays and cancellations during and following the holiday season. 4. NHL player skips warmups, refuses to wear Pride night jersey - Washington Examiner
Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Ivan Provorov boycotted his team's Pride night and did not step out on the ice for warmups before the Tuesday night NHL game.
Prior to the Flyers’ game against the Anaheim Ducks, players wore a Pride night jersey and used sticks wrapped in rainbow Pride tape.
Provorov cited his religious beliefs as the reason for choosing to skip the pregame skate. “I respect everybody. I respect everybody’s choices,” Provorov said after the game. “My choice is to stay true to myself and my religion.”
The defenseman, who said he is Russian Orthodox, declined to go into further detail.
Following the game, the Flyers organization affirmed its support for the LGBT community but did not comment specifically on Provorov’s choice to boycott the Pride promotion. (Read more)

5. DOJ reportedly declined to have FBI agents monitor Joe Biden document search - New York Post
The Justice Department decided against having FBI agents watch over a search for classified documents conducted by President Biden’s lawyers at his Delaware homes — in part because the attorneys were deemed to be cooperating with the DOJ’s investigation, according to a report.
The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday that DOJ officials also opted for the hands-off approach in order to avoid complicating future phases of the probe and to not interfere with special counsel Robert Hur’s work.
According to the Journal, Biden’s attorneys were given permission by the Justice Department to search the 80-year-old president’s Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach residences for sensitive documents and notify the department if any were found so that law enforcement could take custody of them. 6. U.S. will hit its debt limit, start taking steps to avoid - CNBC
Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen on Friday notified Congress that the U.S. will reach its statutory debt limit next Thursday.
After that, the Treasury Department this month will begin “taking certain extraordinary measures to prevent the United States from defaulting on its obligations,” Yellen wrote in a letter to new House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif.
The Treasury “is not currently able” to estimate how long those emergency actions will allow the U.S. to pay for government obligations, she wrote. But, “It is unlikely that cash and extraordinary measures will be exhausted before early June,” Yellen added.
She warned McCarthy that it is “critical that Congress act in a timely manner to increase or suspend the debt limit. Failure to meet the government’s obligations would cause irreparable harm to the U.S. economy, the livelihoods of all Americans, and global financial stability,” Yellen wrote. (Read more)

President Joe Biden’s younger brother Frank Biden peddled White House influence during Joe Biden’s presidency, according to a CNN report that indicates the Biden family business remains operational even since Joe Biden was elected.
On at least two separate occasions, Frank Biden publicly cited Joe Biden as a means by which he has influence, despite holding no government position or relation to the White House other than by having the same last name as the president and being his sibling.
In October, Frank Biden spoke in Venice, Italy, as the keynote speaker at a BioSig Technologies conference about “the future of global health care.” BioSig Technologies is a health technology company. The trip was not paid for by Frank Biden, who refused to disclose the financier. His speech included advice on how lobbyists could influence American policy. (Read more)

In a strange turn of events, Hollywood star Jamie Lee Curtis has deleted an Instagram post after followers noticed a photo in the background depicting a naked child stuffed in a box, with some commenters comparing the apparent artwork to Jeffrey Epstein.
Jamie Lee Curtis, who endorsed Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential run and is currently attracting Oscar buzz for her performance in the sci-fi comedy-adventure Everything Everywhere All at Once, shared a photo of her Comet Productions office on Instagram on Tuesday. While the actress drew attention to the designer office furniture, a photo hanging on the wall ended up stealing the show.
The photo depicts a naked child stuffed awkwardly into a box, with legs crammed together at uncomfortable angles and what appears to be a look of discomfort on the child’s face. It remains unclear who the photographer is and what the piece is meant to represent.

9. Pope Francis Urges Christians Not to Try to Convert Nonbelievers - Brietbart
Pope Francis said Wednesday that trying to convince someone to become a Christian is a “pagan” activity unworthy of followers of Christ. “To evangelize is not to proselytize,” the pope told crowds gathered in the Vatican for his weekly general audience. “To proselytize is something pagan, it is neither religious nor evangelical.”
“This is not about proselytism, as I said, so that others become ‘one of us’ – no, this is not Christian,” he reiterated. “It is about loving so that they might be happy children of God.”
According to the Cambridge Dictionary, proselytizing means “to try to persuade someone to change their religious or political beliefs or way of living to your own.” the pope said that “we are all the same, all children of God” and that true disciples of Jesus do not proselytize. (Read more)
- Lord God this kind of statement and description causes more confusion and division, and is completely unbiblical. Your Word is clear that every believer is called to preach Christ, and make disciples of all nations. Anything standing in the way of that is from the enemy, and we just ask for more fire and among believers worldwide, and an increase and boldness within each heart to preach the gospel to all nations, in Jesus name, amen.

Stupidocrisy: The Washington Shell Game

If you are a moral person, there are some things happening in Washington, DC lately that might give you some hope. The Republican-led House of Representatives voted that protects babies who survive abortion and condemns violence against pro-life charities and churches. The House also voted to repeal the addition of 85,000 Internal Revenue Service agents aimed at making your life more miserable. And an investigation is underway on Joe Biden and his family for their blatant corruption. But don’t get your hopes up too much. This is like verse 11 in Jeremiah 8, “For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying Peace, peace; when there is no peace.”
There is no peace in this case because for all the good that the Republican-led House will do, it will come to naught because the Democrats in the Senate and the corrupt one sitting in the White House vow to prevent these bills from becoming law. And there will be no removal of Biden from office for his blatant corruption (which I might add was reported by legitimate media, but censored by the FBI and mainstream media before his election) because the Senate will not vote to do the right thing. Oh, wait, there’s that word “morals” coming off the sidelines again. Did you know that all Republicans and only one Democrat—Henry Ceullar (TX)—voted for the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act?

Hidden Magma Chamber Reaching Critical Point
'Poses Serious Threat'

A giant magma chamber has been discovered growing underneath an active submarine volcano in Greece.
Scientists, who have published a study on the chamber in the American Geophysical Union's Geochemistry, Geophysics, and Geosystems, have determined that the magma chamber under Kolumbo increases the chances of a future eruption. They believe it could reach a critical point in the next 150 years and pose a "serious threat."
Kolumbo last erupted in 1650 C.E. During this eruption, the explosion breached the sea surface and killed 70 people. This eruption occurred after magma reservoirs beneath the volcano continued to grow and accumulate at a large scale.
Scientists believe that this previously undiscovered magma chamber is growing at an average rate of roughly 4 million cubic meters per year since the submarine volcano last erupted. The amount of melt in there is now 1.4 cubic kilometers, the study reported.
