Document: Hunter Listed $49,910 Monthly Rent Payments While Living at Joe Biden's Residence
|
|
Hunter Biden recorded monthly rent payments of $49,910 while living at President Joe Biden’s residence, according to a document unearthed by New York Post’s Miranda Devine.
On a document titled “background screening request,” it appears Hunter paid $49,910 in monthly rent for one year while living at Joe Biden’s Delaware residence, where the president kept classified documents alongside his Corvette in the garage.
Hunter listed his rental tenancy from March 2017 to February 2018, the document shows. The document is signed July 2018.
In 2017, Joe Biden left the White House and stored a large number of classified documents inside his Delaware garage and at two other locations. The first batch of documents found are alleged to contain information pertaining to Ukraine and Iran, CNN reported. (breitbart.com)

George Soros Pulls Out of World Economic Forum Due to “Unavoidable Scheduling Problem”
|
|
George Soros pulled out of this year’s World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
Soros made the announcement on Twitter last Tuesday.
George Soros: Due to an unavoidable scheduling conflict, regrettably I cannot attend the WEF Annual Meeting in Davos this year as I have in past years. I plan to deliver a speech in Munich on the eve of the Munich Security Conference in February.
Last year billionaire leftist George Soros told the World Economic Forum that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has “shaken Europe to its core” and could lead to the next World War.”
Soros added, “Other issues that concern all of humanity, fighting pandemics and climate change, avoiding nuclear war, maintaining global institutions, have had to take a back seat to that struggle.”
Soros warned the Davos crowd, “That’s why I say our civilization may not survive.”
This is exactly what war detractors have been saying for several weeks now. (Sources: Gateway Pundit and Breitbart.com) Read more here.

- Father God, we know that it is written that, when the wicked plot against the righteous, You laugh at them. Lord God, today we are laughing with you as we witness the plans of a man, who considers himself one who controls the world, fall apart. Thank You, Lord! Amen and amen!
- "Why do the nations conspire
and the peoples plot in vain?
2 The kings of the earth rise up
and the rulers band together
against the Lord and against his anointed, saying,
3 “Let us break their chains
and throw off their shackles.”
4 The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
the Lord scoffs at them.
5 He rebukes them in his anger
and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,
6 “I have installed my king
on Zion, my holy mountain.”
Therefore, you kings, be wise;
be warned, you rulers of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear
and celebrate his rule with trembling.
12 Kiss his son, or he will be angry
and your way will lead to your destruction,
for his wrath can flare up in a moment.
Blessed are all who take refuge in him."

In Courts Across America, Religious Liberty Is On The Docket In 2023
|
|
Religious liberty will be a hot-button issue in American courts in 2023, with several cases in particular that could set important precedent for the rights of religious Americans in the future, according to lawyers who spoke with the Daily Caller News Foundation.
Due to Supreme Court cases like Kennedy v. Bremerton High School, regarding education employees’ rights to pray at school, or Carson v. Makin, where the court ruled that public funding could be used for students attending religious schools, religious freedom was often at the center of debate last year. While debates regarding religious freedom and its limits are nothing new, several upcoming legal battles are posed to restructure the debate regarding religious rights at school, in the workplace and in the medical field, the attorneys said.
“If you have a sort of totalitarian regime come in the one thing it can never allow is the citizens to hold an allegiance to one higher than the government,” Kelly Shackelford, president and CEO of First Liberty Institute (FLI), told the DCNF. “So whenever that type of oppression comes in it tends to be that the first flashpoint is almost always a religious freedom issue and if you lose there that’s just a beginning of the dominoes that are going to fall.” (The Daily Caller) Read more here.
- Father, we stand in agreement with Your power to prevail in these court cases. We bind the attempt to destroy our faith, and rebuke the enemy of our souls for the effort. We ask the covering of the Blood of Jesus over every case that will come to the courts, and that justice for Your people will succeed.
- “When justice is done, it is a joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers.” (Proverbs 21:15)

Biden's DHS Launches App Allowing Migrants to Schedule Appointments at Southern Border for Release into U.S.
|
|
President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has launched a new component of the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) One app, allowing foreign nationals in Central and Northern Mexico to schedule appointments at the United States-Mexico border for release into the U.S. interior.
This week, DHS officials announced the new component of the CBP One mobile app that will entice foreign nationals living in Mexico who are pregnant, mentally ill, elderly, disabled, homeless, or crime victims to schedule an appointment with CBP agents at the U.S.-Mexico border in the hopes of being released into American communities.
Foreign nationals in Mexico will submit their application for an appointment through the CBP One mobile app up to 14 days in advance. Foreign nationals would then be able to show up at eight Ports of Entry in Arizona, Texas, and California for their appointment. (breitbart.com) Read more here.

1. 'If Israel is abandoned, Netanyahu will bomb Iran's nuclear facilities' - Israel National News
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is prepared to use military force to destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities, the head of Israel’s National Security Council said Monday.
Speaking with Channel 12 during the ceremony Monday marking the transfer of control of the IDF from outgoing chief of staff Aviv Kochavi to his successor, Herzi Halevi, National Security Council chief Tzachi Hanegbi said that should Israel find itself isolated and without alternatives vis-à-vis Iran’s nuclear program, Netanyahu would undoubtedly use force to prevent Tehran from realizing its atomic ambitions.

2. Netanyahu: Israel cannot be swept away by ‘inflammatory’ slogans - JNS
(January 15, 2023 / JNS) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday defended his government’s judicial reform plan and called on opposition leaders to stop threatening “civil war” and speaking of “the destruction of the state.”
Netanyahu began his remarks to Sunday’s Security Cabinet meeting by noting that in November “there was a huge demonstration, the mother of all demonstrations. Millions of people went into the streets in order to vote in the elections. One of the main topics that they voted on was reforming the judicial system.
“In recent days, I have heard about an attempt to claim that the public did not know what it was voting for. Then here is a quote, one of many, from me and my colleagues during the election campaign. This is my quote: ‘We will make the necessary changes in the judicial system, prudently and responsibly. We are going to change the system, to save it and not destroy it.'” (Read more)

3. Herzi Halevi Becomes 23rd IDF Chief of Staff - Algemeiner
JNS.org – Israel Defense Forces Maj. Gen. Herzi Halevi on Monday became Israel’s 23rd chief of staff.
In a swearing-in ceremony attended by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, Halevi was promoted to the rank of lieutenant general, officially taking over from Aviv Kochavi.
“Only someone who has served as IDF chief of staff knows the responsibility that the chief of staff bears,” said Netanyahu at the event. “Our assumption that everything is already in place here, that everything is certain and complete—this is not the case. At the end of the day, we live here thanks to the IDF, without which there is no existence,” he added.

5. Hamas threatens ‘militant response’ as Ben-Gvir reduces benefits for jailed terrorists - World Israel News
Public Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir’s moves to toughen conditions for prisoners incarcerated on terror charges has triggered a response from Hamas, who warned of a violent response should the lawmaker’s new policies be implemented.
“The Zionist government will bear responsibility for Ben-Gvir’s threats towards the Palestinian prisoners,” Hamas spokesman Abdel Rahman Shadid told the terror group’s Al-Aqsa TV channel.
“Ben-Gvir will definitely fail to implement his decisions against the prisoners inside the occupation prisons,” Shadid continued, adding that incarcerated terrorists would launch a wide-scale rebellion should the reforms be rolled out.
Palestinian terrorists will “confront” the prison administration if Ben-Gvir’s reforms come to fruition, Shadid said. (Read more)

1. Dozens of Illinois sheriffs vow to defy governor's assault weapons ban | Fox News
More than six dozen Illinois sheriffs have vowed to defy a gun-control law signed by Democratic Gov. J.B. Pritzker that bans semiautomatic rifles.
"Part of my duties that I accepted upon being sworn into office was to protect the rights provided to all of us, in the Constitution," Edwards County Sheriff Darby Boewe said in a Facebook post.
"One of those rights enumerated is the right of the people to KEEP and BEAR ARMS provided under the 2nd Amendment. The right to keep and bear arms for defense of life, liberty and property is regarded as an inalienable right by the people."
- Lord, as the continual attempts of the left to destroy the Bill of Rights continue, we pray for Your wisdom and power to be with those who stand against them. Let Your Spirit provide protection for these Sheriffs, and may their hearts be saved by our Messiah Jesus.

2.Abortions in Texas plummet nearly 99% months after Dobbs ruling | Fox News
Abortions in Texas dramatically decreased in the months following the overturning of Roe v. Wade last June, according to recent state data.
Only three abortions took place in Texas in August 2022, all of which were "medically necessary," according to statistics from the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
Compared with the 2,596 abortions recorded in the state in June 2022, the number in August represents a decrease of nearly 99%. Sixty-eight abortions were performed in July.
- Lord, we rejoice at this news and continue to pray that more abortions will be prevented in our nation. Let all unborn children have a chance at life, and no longer be murdered in the womb.
- “Through Him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge His name.” (Hebrews 13:15)

3. Republicans want Biden home visitor logs - but not Trump's (msn.com)
The Republican chairman of the House Oversight Committee on Sunday demanded visitor logs for President Joe Biden's house in Wilmington, Delaware, after classified documents were found in his office and garage.
"Without a list of individuals who have visited his residence, the American people will never know who had access to these highly sensitive documents," Representative James Comer said in a letter to White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain dated Sunday.
Republicans have sought to compare the Biden documents case, which involves material from his time as vice president, with that of former President Donald Trump, who faces a federal criminal probe of how he handled classified documents after he left the White House in 2021. But legal experts say there are stark contrasts between the two cases.
Comer said he would not seek visitor logs for Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence, where more than 100 classified documents - some of them labeled top secret - were found in an FBI search.
"I don't feel like we need to spend a whole lot of time because the Democrats have done that for the past six years," he said in an interview Sunday with CNN.
- Lord, we pray that the Biden administration will comply with this request in a timely manner and with truth. We take Your authority over the lies that have been kept secret and those that have come to light and pray for justice.
- “For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light.” (Luke 8:17)

4. SCOTUS To Hear Case Of Transgender-Identified Individual Suing Biden Admin Over Deportation | The Daily Caller
The Supreme Court is set to hear the case of a biological man who identifies as a woman contesting a decision by the Biden administration to deport him Tuesday.
The Biden administration claims that Leon Santos-Zacaria has not exhausted “all administrative remedies available” before appealing their immigration decision. The case will consider whether illegal immigrants must petition the Board of Immigration Appeals before seeking redress in the federal court of appeals.
Santos-Zacaria, 34, was deported to his home country of Guatemala in 2008 and 2012, but still returned to America in 2018. Santos-Zacaria is seeking protection under the Immigration and Nationality Act over alleged risk of persecution for his transgender identification.
- Lord, we pray that wisdom will prevail in the Supreme Court regarding this case. Let sin no longer have precedence over this nation. We pray for a mighty move of repentance across all of America.
- “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)

5. FBI Raided Overseas Chinese Government Police Station In New York, Seized Materials: REPORT | The Daily Caller
FBI counterintelligence agents raided the New York office of an alleged overseas Chinese government police station sometime in fall 2022, The New York Times reported Thursday.
During the raid, federal authorities reportedly seized materials from the third-floor office of America Changle Association, a Manhattan Chinatown organization that claims to serve overseas Chinese, according to the report, which cites FBI agents who spoke on the condition of anonymity. The report comes several months after the Daily Caller News Foundation revealed in October that a March 2021 video conference between Changle and Chinese government officials had identified Lu Jianwang, Changle’s former chairman, as a “propagandist” and “special liaison officer” who worked with the United Front Work Department (UFWD).
The UFWD is a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) agency that has engaged in “clandestine foreign intelligence work, propaganda and influence operations,” according to the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission.
- Lord, we thank You that the federal government finally acted on this Chinese police station that has been on US soil for some time. We pray that justice will be served, and they will no longer be able to operate in the US.

6. House Dems Introduce Resolution Lowering Voting Age To 16 | The Daily Caller
A group of House Democrats introduced legislation Thursday that would lower the voting age in the U.S. from 18 to 16 years old.
The joint resolution was introduced by New York Rep. Grace Meng and states “the right of citizens of the United States, who are sixteen years of age or older, to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of age.” The joint resolution has 12 cosponsors.
The 26th Amendment only allows citizens 18 years old and up to vote. This joint resolution would change that.
- Lord, this is a foolish bill meant to sway elections in favor of the Democrats. Let this not pass either house of Congress.
- “Whoever trusts in his own mind is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered.” (Proverbs 28:26)

7. House Oversight Chairman On Biden’s Document Scandal: National Archives Won’t Disclose What Was Found | The Daily Wire
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) said Saturday that the National Archives has not responded to requests for a briefing over the classified documents that were found at President Joe Biden’s home and a Biden think tank.
Comer, who has jurisdiction over the National Archives, told Fox News that the National Archives has provided no information about what is going on with the documents that were discovered.
“This agency is supposed to do a briefing any time something like this happens. They have not,” Comer said. “Not only have they not given us a briefing, even though we’ve requested one, they haven’t answered any of our simple requests for information. This is very concerning. We are going to deal with the National Archives as this mess progresses. But right now, we have a lot of concerns who had access to these documents.”
- Lord, we pray that the Biden administration will be transparent on the documents found, and that You will realign the National Archives in the best interests of Americans by removing political issues from their actions.
- “An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.” (Proverbs 18:15)

8. NSA Asks For Reauthorization Of Surveillance Powers As Republicans Prepare To Investigate Security Agencies | The Daily Wire
The director of the National Intelligence Agency (NSA) asked Congress on Thursday to reauthorize a controversial surveillance power aimed at foreign nationals that can expose the communications of Americans.
NSA Director Paul Nakasone said that there was vital security interest in renewing Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) before it expires at the end of the year, which allows intelligence agencies to obtain the online communications of foreign nationals without a warrant.
Section 702 has come under fire from civil liberties groups because the messages of Americans could be exposed if they are communicating with a foreigner under surveillance. Its renewal could also face increased opposition in Congress as Republicans look to investigate the security agencies.
“This authority provides the U.S. government irreplaceable insights, whether we’re reporting on cybersecurity threats, counterterrorism threats, or protecting U.S. and allied forces,” Nakasone said at a meeting of the U.S. Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board. “We have saved lives because of 702.”
- Lord, we pray that this not come to pass – people have had their lives destroyed by abuses in this area. Let these intelligence agencies be held accountable for their actions.
- “The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.” (Psalm 9:9)

9. NIH spends millions on equity, LGBT issues instead of researching cures | Just The News
As Congress continues to expand its budget, the National Institutes of Health is increasingly spending its time on the issues of equity, LGBT and “systemic racism," devoting millions of taxpayer dollars to causes other than its primary mission to find medical cures and treatments.
"The fact that NIH is doing this is very worrisome," said Mike Gonzalez, an expert on racial issues at the Heritage Foundation. "This is actually a danger now, the fact that it is entering medicine because these are life and death issues, and if we are going to be making these decisions based on these hocus pocus ideas of [Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion] in order to satisfy some virtue signaling that our government seems to be at this point completely suffused with, we are going to start putting people's lives in danger."
The latest $1.7 trillion omnibus law passed by Congress last month increased NIH’s 2023 budget by about $2.5 billion, or 5.6%, totaling $47.5 billion. NIH’s budget 10 years ago was less than $30 billion.
This kind of focus comes in part because the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities was upgraded from a center to an institute during the Obama administration. Racial disparities do exist in certain health conditions, but the research grants awarded by NIH go beyond those standard health conditions.
- Lord, we bind this situation in Jesus’ Mighty Name, and rebuke the enemy from attempting to destroy the health of so many. We ask that You realign the NIH, and bring their focus back on real health issues that will benefit all Americans.
- “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10)

10. George Soros-backed open border group suing DeSantis over migrant flights violates federal tax laws: report | Fox News
A George Soros-backed immigration nonprofit, which advocates for open borders and is suing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for flying migrants to Martha’s Vineyard, has reportedly violated federal disclosure law.
The Washington Examiner reported that Alianza Americas, which had garnered more than $1.5 million from Soros’ Open Society Foundations, violated IRS law by not producing its 2021 990 Form within 30 days of a written request. The Examiner sent the first written request for Alianza's tax forms on Nov. 28 and followed up with a second and third request on Dec. 23 and Dec. 27, respectively.
The publication said it sought the records to verify whether Alianza participated in lobbying in 2021.
Paul Kamenar, counsel to the National Legal and Policy Center, a conservative watchdog group, told the Examiner that Alianza could be fined up to $10,000 a day and a personal penalty of $1,000.
- Lord, we pray that all subterfuge by any of the groups backed by George Soros be revealed and brought into accountability. Let Your justice prevail!
- “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out.” (Proverbs 10:9)

World Economic Forum Kicks Off
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, January 16, 2023
One of the most dangerous movements against life, liberty and pursuit of happiness of the modern era is kicking off its meetings in Davos, Switzerland—The World Economic Forum. The WEF says, “Under the theme of ‘Cooperation in a Fragmented World’, we’ll look at how we can tackle the numerous and interlinked challenges the world is facing and find solutions through public-private cooperation.” Cooperation, in this sense, is tantamount to global tyranny. World leaders of business, government and nonprofit organizations are banding together to “cooperate” on an agenda that, while propagandized as high-minded ways to address the world’s most pressing problems, is akin to an end-time beast system.
Target one for this year’s gathering of the globalist Marxist like-minded is the world economy. WEF introduces its session with, “The latest Chief Economists Outlook comes at a turbulent time for the global economy. This January’s edition of the survey comes at a time of significant economic headwinds and explores the prospects for growth, inflation, and monetary and fiscal policy. It also looks at challenges businesses will likely face in the coming months and their potential responses.” All this is real pleasant talk for a central plan to redistribute wealth in the name of equity and fairness. The idea is to get all the economies on the same page so that resources, both financial and natural, can be controlled. Read More

Plume-like cloud ‘shot’ in front of Hawaiian Airlines flight seconds before turbulence injured 25, pilot says
|
|
The pilot on the Dec. 18 flight from Phoenix to Honolulu said conditions were smooth when a smoke-like plume appeared in front of the Airbus A330.
A pilot on a Hawaiian Airlines flight said a plume-like cloud “shot” in front of the plane moments before severe turbulence that left more than two dozen people injured and damaged the aircraft last month, federal officials said Friday.
The pilot, a captain on the Dec. 18 flight from Phoenix to Honolulu, said conditions were smooth and on-board weather radar showed no turbulence as they flew above a layer of cirrostratus clouds at an altitude of between 37,000 and 38,000 feet, the National Transportation Safety Board said in a preliminary report on the incident.
Just after 10 a.m., when the flight was 40 minutes from landing, a “cloud shot up vertically (like a smoke plume) in front of the airplane in a matter of seconds, and there was not enough time to deviate,” the report says. Read More

Public Schools Are Steadily Losing Students as Homeschooling Skyrockets
|
|
While the number of homeschoolers has doubled in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, public school systems across the U.S. are rapidly losing students. According to data released last spring by the National Center for Education Statistics, public schools lost more than one million students from the fall of 2019 to the fall of 2020. In other words, enrollment fell from 50.8 million to 49.4 million. Although the trend may have started before the COVID-19 pandemic, the exodus from public schools certainly sped up during the health crisis.
Many parents pulled their kids out of the public school systems after educators and administrators flip-flopped repeatedly on virtual versus in-person learning and mask mandates from 2020 into 2021. The mishandling of the government-sanctioned education system saw parents enrolling their children in private and charter schools. And about five million children are now homeschooled. In addition to frustrating COVID-related policies, viral social media accounts like “Libs of TikTok” have alerted parents to concerning — and oft-sexually explicit — content being taught to their young children.
Actor and filmmaker Kirk Cameron, creator of the recently released documentary “The Homeschool Awakening,” is certainly not surprised by parents’ turn toward homeschooling. “If you look at the public education system, removing prayer from schools, removing God and the Bible from school and replacing those things with progressive ideas, like the critical race theory, gender theory, and teaching children to decide whether or not they prefer to be a boy or a girl, to choose their own pronouns, and separating parents from their children’s understanding of sexuality and when and how they’re exposed to explicit material, these are the kinds of things that parents are saying we’re not down for this anymore,” he told CBN News last summer. - Abba, thank you for showing a "way out" for young students to be saved from the evil one! Bless and provide for every parent who has sought alternative forms of education to protect their children's minds. Use this failing educational system to AWAKEN America. We ask that You would restore our nation's school boards to reflect biblical values! In Jesus mighty name, Amen.

All the Way my Savior Leads me
To listen to this classic hymn, CLICK HERE
Words: Fanny Crosby
Music: Robert Lowry
Scripture: The Lamb…will lead them to springs of living water. Revelation 7:17
Lyrics:
All the way my Savior leads me;
What have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt His tender mercy,
Who through life has been my guide?
Heav’nly peace, divinest comfort,
Here by faith in Him to dwell!
For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well;
For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well.
All the way my Savior leads me,
Cheers each winding path I tread;
Gives me grace for every trial,
Feeds me with the living bread.
Though my weary steps may falter,
And my soul athirst may be,
Gushing from the rock before me,
Lo! A spring of joy I see;
Gushing from the rock before me,
Lo! A spring of joy I see.
All the way my Savior leads me
O the fullness of His love!
Perfect rest to me is promised
In my Father’s house above.
When my spirit, clothed immortal,
Wings its flight to realms of day
This my song through endless ages—
Jesus led me all the way;
This my song through endless ages—
Jesus led me all the way.
