Collegiate Day of Prayer:

A Spiritual Awakening Sweeping Campuses Worldwide
On Feb. 27, believers worldwide will unite for the Collegiate Day of Prayer, lifting up the spiritual needs of 250 million students across 1,100 campuses. This movement, rooted in an early 19th-century tradition, has seen a remarkable revival in recent years. CDP Executive Director Thai Lam calls it “the oldest day of prayer in American history,” explaining that its resurgence began in 2009. “By 1823, every major denomination and every college campus of that day had adopted the last Thursday of February as this national day of prayer for campuses,” he told The Christian Post. Momentum skyrocketed after the 2023 Asbury University revival, which Lam described as “really significant” for the movement. “We were blown away” by what unfolded, he said, calling it “what we’ve been praying for.” That revival sparked a global shift, leading CDP to expand beyond the U.S. and focus on students in 195 countries.

This year, CRU, a ministry founded on prayer, is inviting believers to “adopt three campuses in prayer — one close to their heart, one near their home and one in another country,” according to Dan Allan, Cru’s Executive Director of Mission Expansion. As reported by The Christian Post, the CDP team envisions a future where every college has a dedicated prayer group or local church interceding for its students. “What would it look like if 40-year-olds and 60-year-olds really got a heart for the college campus down the street from them?” Lam asks. With so much uncertainty and spiritual hunger burdening college students today, this movement reminds us of the power of prayer. Who knows what the Lord might do when entire communities come together to intercede for the next generation? (Charismanews) Watch Video

- Father God, we celebrate intercessors uniting for the 'Collegiate Day of Prayer'.  We bless this early 19th-century tradition of interceding for students to thirst for God. In Jesus Name, we declare Holy Spirit FIRE will fall upon college campuses, not only in America but globally, as we lift powerful prayer for students to fully surrender their hearts to Christ! By the Blood and Mighty Name of Yeshua- Amen and Amen.

Trump Invites Musk To Attend First White House Cabinet Meeting

Elon Musk will join President Donald Trump’s first cabinet meeting of his second administration, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt announced during Tuesday’s briefing.

Trump’s first cabinet meeting is scheduled for Wednesday. Musk was designated to be a “special government employee” and is heading up Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency.

The president, vice president, presidentially appointed cabinet secretaries and the White House chief of staff are typically in attendance at cabinet meetings. Musk and his team have moved from agency to agency over the last month combing through the federal government for unnecessary spending. (Daily Caller) Read more here.

- Abba,  We thank You that President Trump has been following Your lead as he nominated a very eclectic group of people for his cabinet. Thank You that the President has put much faith and trust in Elon Musk. We give You praise and thanksgiving for the work that Mr. Musk has done for our nation in a very short time.  Father God, thank You that You are guiding and directing Mr. Musk and his team as they work to identify poor spending decisions across federal agencies, and areas of fraud that have cost We The People millions of dollars

We ask for a Holy Spirit infilling of all who are gathered today for this first Trump Cabinet meeting.  Flood each heart with Your love and blessings.  We ask You to give each member wisdom and knowledge beyond their own abilities with a spirit of unity far deeper than any have experienced before.  Make Your presence known in a very tangible way, let Your favor continue to follow these men and women as they work to restore our country.  We ask this in the name Jehovah Jireh, The Lord Who Will provide.

- "I am in them and you are in me.  May they
experience such perfect unity that the
world will know that you sent me and that you
love them as much as you love me."

SCOTUS to hear straight woman's discrimination case that could reshape employment law

The U.S. Supreme Court is poised to hear oral arguments Wednesday in a case involving an Ohio woman who claims she was unfairly discriminated against for being straight, while she watched her less-qualified LGBT colleagues in Ohio's youth corrections system climb the career ladder.

Marlean Ames, the woman at the center of the case, argued she was discriminated against because of her heterosexuality at the Ohio Department of Youth Services and contends that her demotion and pay cut constitutes a violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The decision of the case could have a significant impact on employment law.

Ames' case is before the Supreme Court after lower courts dismissed her claim in light of the precedent in the 1973 McDonnell Douglas Corp. v. Green decision. In that case, the high court created a three-step process for handling discrimination cases based on indirect evidence, with the first step being the key issue in the case. (Fox News) Read more here.

- Abba, our nation is being and has been bombarded by demonic ideas and strategies, like DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) for far too long.  Father God, we ask You to move on the hearts of all Supreme Court Justices, give them vision to understand how You see these circumstances, allow their hearts to be teachable and moldable.  Reveal the harm that has been done to our children through this divisive mindset, the confusion and physical damage done by adults who have eyes that do not see and ears that do not hear. Show them the damage done to our society as a whole through planting seeds of discontent and offense.  Jesus, this should not be, this is NOT Your heart.  Please, dispatch Holy Spirit's warrior angels to do battle over all satanic plans and purposes in the heavenlies, bring down all spiritual strongholds set up against The Holy One of Israel, override all unholy laws being pushed through our congress, bring them to naught.  Renew the resolve of the conservative justices, give them words and concepts to use within arguments against the evil that is being sown in our nation.  We ask this in the name El Gibhor, Mighty God, the God who will accomplish the destruction of His enemies and rule with a rod of iron.

- "All day long you plot destruction.  Your tongue cuts like
a sharp razor; you're an expert at telling lies.
You love evil more than good and lies more than truth."

Zelenskyy Expected in Washington Friday to Sign US–Ukraine Minerals Deal

A U.S.-Ukraine economic pact focused on critical minerals is set for signing on Friday, President Donald Trump said.

President Donald Trump said Tuesday that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is expected in Washington on Friday to sign a major U.S.-Ukraine economic deal focused on rare earths and critical minerals.

“I hear that he’s coming on Friday,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office on Feb. 25 when asked whether all outstanding issues in the agreement had been resolved and if Zelenskyy was traveling to Washington to finalize the deal.

“The American taxpayer now is going to get their money back—plus,” he added.

The Epoch Times could not immediately confirm whether the two leaders were scheduled to meet for a signing ceremony. When asked, the White House referred to the president’s earlier remarks in the Oval Office.

However, multiple media outlets reported earlier Tuesday that Kyiv had agreed to the deal, citing senior Ukrainian officials speaking anonymously. (The Epoch Times) Read more.

- Abba, this agreement between the US and Ukraine is very important to both nations.  We ask You to be very much involved in how all of this is written up; definitions used, concepts explained in detail, promises made including timeframes and expectations on deliverables  Father God, we ask that Your favor continue to go before President Trump and make his pathway clear and easy in these negotiations, that everything brought up and discussed be Your heart for our nation.  We ask that all things hiding in the shadows in Ukraine be brought into the light before this contract is signed, all illegal practices be shut down and an open door for those who will be watching to ensure adherence on both sides. Holy Spirit, dispatch Your angels to hover over all people, keeping everyone safe.  Jesus, download to Your intercessors what needs to be covered in prayer, what decrees we need to be speaking into these circumstances, where the enemy is hidden.  We ask this in the name Jehovah Sabaoth, The Host of Heaven's Armies.

the time You promised to help."

House Passes Spending Resolution
House Passes Budget Blueprint to Fund Trump’s Agenda
It’s the first step in what is expected to be a protracted battle to bring the thin Republican House majority in line with a single package approach.
After a tense time of uncertainty, House Republicans managed to pass a budget resolution. Both the House and the Senate have now passed budget bills. Which approach will end up reaching the President’s desk?

From The Epoch Times. The U.S. House of Representatives on Feb. 25 gave the green light to House Speaker Mike Johnson’s (R-La.) blueprint for a massive budgetary package to carry out President Donald Trump’s agenda.

The House approved the resolution in a 217–215 vote. It authorizes relevant House committees to find at least $1.5 trillion in spending cuts, $4.5 trillion in tax cuts, and a $4 trillion bump to the debt ceiling.

Only a single Republican, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), voted against the resolution, while one Democrat, Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-Ariz.), is away for medical reasons.

The vote on the proposal occurred just minutes after leadership announced last-minute that they were pulling it from the floor. Many lawmakers who were leaving the Capitol had to hurriedly return to the chamber.

Democrats sought to slow the vote by casting ballots on paper slips—rather than via the quicker and more common electronic method—to ensure that all of their available members could make it back in time to vote against the resolution.

Republicans broke into a round of applause after the final Republican ballot had been cast, reflecting the relief after uncertainty and speculation had surrounded the proposal in the days leading up to the vote. Many went to personally shake Johnson’s hand, marking the political victory he had achieved after weeks of skepticism from both Senate Republicans and political commentators.

“We got it done,” Johnson said in brief remarks to the press.

Johnson acknowledged there is “a lot of work yet to be done.”

- Father, we thank You for the passage of this resolution. We ask You to give Speaker Johnson and Senate Majority Leader Thune wisdom as they negotiate a compromise to keep our government funded.

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Watch: Thousands of Israelis Line Streets to Pay Final Respects to Shiri, Ariel and Kfir Bibas - Jewish Press

Thousands of Israelis lined the streets of southern Israel to pay their final respects to Shiri, Ariel and Kfir Bibas on Wednesday morning as their funeral procession began.

Many held signs, flags, or orange balloons — a symbol of the childrens’ hair color.

The three will be laid to rest in Zohar, near the family’s home in Kibbutz Nir Oz. The funeral is closed to the public is being livestreamed.

The Bibas family also insisted that no politicians attend. On Tuesday, Yarden’s sister, Ofri Bibas-Levy denounced Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for publicly sharing details about the deaths of the three against the family’s wishes. Netanyahu shared details of the murders while addressing the American Israel Public Affairs Committee Congressional Summit on Tuesday. (Read more)

3. After logjam, Hamas releases 4 hostage bodies to Israel in quiet, late-night transfer - Times of Israel

The bodies believed to be of four hostages kidnapped by Hamas-led terrorists and held captive in Gaza for over 16 months were returned to Israel early Thursday in a nighttime handover devoid of macabre theatrics that had punctuated previous handovers.

In exchange for the remains of the four slain hostages, Israel agreed to free hundreds of Palestinian prisoners whose releases had been held up by anger in Jerusalem over Hamas’s handling of previous handovers, though statements from Israeli and Palestinian officials left unclear whether all the detainees would be released simultaneously as sought by Hamas.

The transfer, the last of the multi-phased ceasefire’s initial stage, began late Wednesday night, when the Red Cross headed to the handover site in the Gaza Strip. After receiving the coffins, the Red Cross transferred them to the Israel Defense Forces, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said early Thursday morning. (Read more)

Police raided the terrorists’ homes, seizing cash and property worth hundreds of thousands of shekels. (Read more)

5. IDF strike kills senior Hezbollah member involved in weapons smuggling to terror group - Times of Israel

The Israeli Air Force announced Wednesday that it struck a “central terrorist” in Hezbollah’s Unit 4400, which is responsible for transporting and smuggling Iranian weapons into Lebanon.

The strike in the al-Qusayr area of northern Lebanon came after the operative “repeatedly violated” the current ceasefire, including being involved in weapons smuggling to the Iran-backed terror group.

The military said that the Hezbollah operative was attacked “while planning more smuggling.” (Read more

1. Trump administration threatens undocumented immigrants who fail to join registry with jail time, fines - CBS News

The Trump administration is threatening to punish some immigrants in the U.S. illegally with criminal penalties, including jail time and fines, if they fail to sign up for a government registry, as it ramps up its far-reaching immigration crackdown.

The move, announced Tuesday by the Department of Homeland Security, applies to immigrants over the age of 13 who are in the U.S. unlawfully and who have not submitted fingerprints or registered with the federal government.

The Trump administration said it would give those who have not registered a chance to join the registry through an online form that has yet to be published. Failure to do so could result in criminal prosecution, officials warned. Administration officials framed Tuesday's announcement as a way to encourage unauthorized immigrants to self-deport by enforcing a law they say has been previously ignored by Democratic and Republican administrations. (Read more)
- Lord God, we think that this administration is bringing responsibility and accountability to our immigration system. We continue to ask for Your protection over our nation’s borders. Help us, Lord, with this matter as it affects so many aspects of our lives. Grant our leaders wisdom to ensure that safety and peace would be guaranteed for all Americans and the immigrants genuinely seeking asylum in our great nation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

- “Now this I know: The LORD gives victory to his anointed. He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of his right hand.” (Psalm 20:6)

2. Trump holds first Cabinet meeting of second term - DML News

President Donald Trump is holding the first Cabinet meeting of his second term Wednesday morning. The majority of Trump’s Cabinet has now been approved, with the exception of a few: Rep. Elise Stefanik for U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Linda McMahon for Secretary of the Department of Education, Lori Chavez-DeRemer for Secretary of Labor, and Jamieson Greer as U.S. Trade Representative.

Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla.) announced that the vote on Greer is being held at noon today. “VOTE ALERT: at 12pm ET today, the Senate will vote to confirm Jamieson Greer as President Trump’s @USTradeRep — the 19th cabinet slot. After Greer, 3 cabinet-level nominees remain: Lori for Labor, Linda for Education, and Elise for UN,” Sen. Mullin wrote.

Elon Musk, who is overseeing the Department of Government Efficiency, but is not a Cabinet member, will also be at the meeting Wednesday morning. (Read more)

- Lord God we pray for all of Trump's appointees that they would all be men and women of character keeping their word and promises to the American people. We pray that the rest of Trump‘s appointees would be confirmed swiftly and we pray that all positions in our government would be filled with righteous individuals who will implement justice in every area. In Jesus' name, amen.

- “If you make a vow to the Lord your God, don’t avoid keeping it. The Lord your God expects you to keep it. You would be guilty of a sin if you didn’t. If you didn’t make a vow, you would not be guilty. Make sure you do what you said you would do in your vow. You freely chose to make your vow to the Lord your God.”  ( Deuteronomy 23:21-23)

3.  A federal judge in Seattle blocks Trump’s effort to halt the refugee admissions system - Associated Press

A federal judge in Seattle on Tuesday blocked President Donald Trump’s suspension of the nation’s refugee admissions system, saying that while the president has broad authority over who comes into the country, he cannot nullify the law passed by Congress establishing the program.

The ruling came in a lawsuit brought by individual refugees whose efforts to resettle in the U.S. have been halted as well as major refugee aid groups, who argued that they have had to lay off staff because the administration froze funding for processing refugee applications overseas as well as support, such as short-term rental assistance for those already in the U.S.

U.S. District Judge Jamal Whitehead, a 2023 appointee of former President Joe Biden, said after hearing arguments Tuesday that the president’s actions amounted to an “effective nullification of congressional will” in setting up the nation’s refugee admissions program. He promised to offer a fuller rationale in a written opinion in the next few days. (Read more)
- Lord God, we pray that innovative ways would be thought of and created when dealing with illegal immigrants and refugees. While we are called to help the oppressed, we are not called to sustain their welfare for the rest of their lives. So give our leaders wisdom about how to handle this situation responsibly, in Jesus' name, amen.

- "For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat." (2 Thessalonians 3:10)

4. A Texas child who was not vaccinated has died of measles, a first for the US in a decade - Associated Press

A child who wasn’t vaccinated died in a measles outbreak in rural West Texas, state officials said Wednesday, the first U.S. death from the highly contagious respiratory disease since 2015.
The school-aged child had been hospitalized and died Tuesday night amid the widespread outbreak, Texas’ largest in nearly 30 years. Since it began last month, a rash of 124 cases has erupted across nine counties.

The Texas Department of State Health Services and Lubbock health officials confirmed the death to The Associated Press. The Lubbock hospital where the child had been treated — and where most measles patients have been hospitalized during the outbreak — didn’t respond to a request for comment.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the nation’s top health official and a vaccine critic, said Wednesday that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is “watching” cases, though he did not provide specifics on how the federal agency is assisting. He dismissed Texas’ outbreak as “not unusual” during a Wednesday meeting of President Donald Trump’s Cabinet members. (Read more)

5. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins unveils $1 billion plan to lower egg prices - Just The News

Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins on Wednesday unveiled the administration's plan to lower the cost of eggs in a Wall Street Journal op-ed. "This five-point strategy won’t erase the problem overnight, but we’re confident that it will restore stability to the egg market over the next three to six months," she said. "This approach will also ensure stability over the next four years and beyond."

The household commodity has witnessed a surge in prices over the past several months amid an avian flu surge and partially due to inflation. President Donald Trump campaigned extensively on lowering costs and the administration has faced polling suggesting that a failure to act on the issue could undercut his currently positive approval ratings.

Rollins insisted that the price surge "is due in part to continuing outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza." She further promised a $1 billion investment into curbing the avian flu, which would come partially from cost-cutting measures recommended by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). (Read more)
Lord God, we pray over our food supply that it would no longer be hindered in any way. We pray over every American's finances, especially that of your people, and we break poverty -- we break debt right now, in the mighty name of Jesus. We thank you Lord that through this new representative government, you will rebuild the economy back to a strong, prosperous land with opportunity for all! Amen.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

Stupidocrisy: A Henhouse of Fools

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, February 26, 2025

What does radical Diversity Equity Inclusion policy have in common with the price of eggs? Maybe more than you might think. The Biden Administration spent billions of your tax dollars promoting radical DEI policies in US schools, across the government, and in overseas humanitarian and foreign aid. In one small example, Brietbart News recently reported that President Trump’s Department of Education has identified and removed more than 2,300 webpages related to Biden’s DEI and pro LGBTQIA+ agenda. That’s just an ice cube on the tip of an international iceberg. At the same time, Biden’s Agriculture Department ordered the killing of 100 million chickens, driving chicken meat and egg prices to historic levels.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters on January 28, “As far as the egg shortage, what’s also contributing to that is that the Biden administration and the Department of Agriculture directed the mass killing of more than 100 million chickens, which has led to a lack of chicken supply in this country, therefore, a lack of egg supply, which is leading to the shortage.” Leavitt also underscored the overall cost of eggs at the behest of Biden. She said, “I would like to point out to each and every one of you, that in 2024, when Joe Biden was in the Oval Office or upstairs in the residence sleeping, I’m not so sure, egg prices increased 65% in this country.” She added that the costs of bacon, groceries and gasoline have increased because of the “inflationary” policies of the Biden administration. Tehran fears US-Israeli strikes could put its ‘existence in danger’

Iran has put defense systems around its nuclear sites on high alert amid fears of a joint U.S.-Israeli attack, The Telegraph reported on Tuesday, citing two “high-level government sources” in Tehran.

The Islamic Republic is “just waiting for the attack and are anticipating it every night and everything has been on high alert—even in sites that no one knows about,” one of the sources told the U.K.-based newspaper.

Work to fortify Tehran’s nuclear sites “has intensified over the past year, particularly since Israel launched the first attack” on the Iranian military in response to Iran’s April 13, 2024, missile and drone assault on the Jewish state, he added. (JNS.org) Read more here.

- Lord God, we thank You that the nation of Iran is now "getting the message" that their behavior has indeed brought danger upon their own heads. We ask that, as they now see this "wake up call," wise policy would follow. Let them walk in fear, dear Lord, that we might have peace. In Your Name, amen and amen.

He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud;
He shall prevail against His enemies."

2 eclipses coming to the US, Canada in March
Get your eclipse glasses ready as another solar eclipse is about to unfold over part of the United States and Canada. Plus, the first total lunar eclipse since 2022 will cause the moon to turn red over North America.

planetary parade has been the highlight of the night sky through the first two months of 2025, but a pair of eclipses will soon take center stage, including a solar eclipse visible across parts of the United States and Canada.

March 13-14: Total lunar eclipse

The first total lunar eclipse since 2022 will cause the moon to turn red on the night of March 13-14 during one of the top astronomy events of the year. This event, caused when the sun, Earth and moon align, is the first of two in 2025, although it will be the only lunar eclipse visible across the United States and Canada.

Many people will need to lose some sleep to witness the spectacle, as the total eclipse will unfold between 2:26 a.m. EDT and 3:31 a.m. EDT. Even if it is partly to mostly cloudy, just a few breaks in the clouds will be needed over the course of the 65-minute event to catch a glimpse of the eclipsed moon.

This type of eclipse is sometimes referred to as a Blood Moon, as the moon often turns red during the height of the eclipse. The color can be traced back to Earth as light passing through the planet's atmosphere is distorted, shifting to orange or red before being cast on the moon. Read More
