FBI director says terror threats elevated to all-time high since Oct. 7: 'Blinking lights everywhere'

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., asked Wray to describe the current "threat matrix" facing the United States at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.
"What I would say that is unique about the environment that we're in right now in my career is that while there may have been times over the years where individual threats could have been higher here or there than where they may be right now, I've never seen a time where all the threats or so many of the threats are all elevated, all at exactly the same time," the FBI director replied.
"So, blinking red lights analogy about 9/11 — all the lights were blinking red before 9/11, apparently," Graham continued. "Obviously, all of us missed it. Would you say there's multiple blinking red lights out there?" he asked.
"I see blinking red lights everywhere," Wray answered.
He later told Graham that since the Oct. 7 massacre in Israel, when Hamas terrorists brutally murdered at least 1,200 Israelis, a "veritable rogue's gallery of foreign terrorists" has called for attacks against the U.S.

Hunter Biden’s Business Entity Owasco Made DIRECT Monthly Payments to Joe Biden
– WITH RECEIPTS!

House Oversight Chairman James Comer on Monday released subpoenaed bank records revealing Joe Biden received direct monthly payments from Hunter Biden’s business entity, Owasco PC.
Hunter Biden is currently under federal investigation for using Owasco PC for tax evasion and other crimes.
Joe Biden has repeatedly claimed he never took a dime from China and was never involved with his son Hunter’s overseas business dealings.
Biden, in a ‘catch me if you can’ moment, taunted reporters in October inquiring about his family’s corruption and asked, “Where’s the money?”
“Payments from Hunter’s business entity are now a part of a pattern revealing Joe Biden knew about, participated in, and benefitted from his family’s influence-peddling schemes,” Chairman Comer said.
In one instance, Hunter and Joe Biden threatened a Chinese business associate – pay up or else!
“I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled. Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight. And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my directions. I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father.”

IDF Chief Halevi: Closing in on Hamas

IDF Chief-of-staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi on Tuesday hinted that the IDF is closing in on Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar as it has penetrated the heart of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
He said that the IDF has encircled southern Gaza and Khan Younis, where multiple top officials have said Sinwar is hiding, though there is still no precise timeline for capturing or killing him.
Halevi stated, "We are attacking the center of gravity" of Hamas and that "we are asked frequently about the destruction in Gaza - Hamas is the address. [Yahya] Sinwar is the address." (Jerusalem Post) (Read more) |

1. Netanyahu: Israeli troops surround Hamas senior leader Sinwar’s home - JNS
The Israel Defense Forces has surrounded the residence of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in the Gaza Strip, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement on Wednesday night.
“Last night, I said that our forces can reach anywhere in the Gaza Strip,” Netanyahu said, referring to Tuesday’s press conference in which he vowed to fully demilitarize the coastal enclave.
“Now they surround Sinwar’s house. His house is not a fortress, and he can escape, but it’s only a matter of time before we get to him,” vowed the premier. Sinwar is believed to live in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.
On Oct. 14, IDF International Spokesperson Lt. Col. Richard Hecht told journalists that Sinwar and his entire command team were in Israel’s sights. He stated: “Yahya Sinwar is the face of evil.” (Read more)

2. Gallant: We’ll push Hezbollah beyond Litani River before residents of northern Israel return home - Times of Israel
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant meets mayors and heads of councils located near the Lebanon border in the north, promising them that their communities — evacuated since frequent border skirmishes began in October in the shadow of the war against Hamas — will not be returned home until the Iran-backed Hezbollah terror group is driven north of the Litani River, according to Hebrew media reports.
UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which ended the Second Lebanon War in 2006, barred Hezbollah from maintaining a military presence south of the Litani, which is located some 30 kilometers (18 miles) north of the Israel-Lebanon border. Hezbollah has blatantly violated that resolution and regularly launches attacks on Israel from near the border.
During the tense meeting in Nahariya, Gallant says the best option for Israel is to reach a diplomatic arrangement that will cause Resolution 1701 to be enforced. (Read more)

3. Israeli Lawmakers to Forgo Salary Hikes in Show of Solidarity Amid Gaza War, Economic Damage - Algemeiner
Members of the Knesset, Israel’s parliament, announced on Wednesday that they decided to freeze their own planned pay raises, saying it was not the time for lawmakers to receive a salary bump as the Israeli economy suffered from the ongoing war with the Hamas terror group in Gaza.
“There is no need to justify the obvious: the members’ salaries will not increase during this time,” said Ofir Katz, who chairs the Knesset’s House Committee. Katz added that the salaries would also remain the same for the prime minister, president, judges, and other ministers.
This decision followed the recommendation of the committee that determines salaries and other payments to members of the Knesset, which said, “The difficult war that was imposed on us brings with it severe economic consequences for the entire economy and economic damage to many of the country’s citizens. Under these circumstances, members of the Knesset must set a personal example and forgo the expected increase in their salary.”
Israeli business and outside investment have suffered due to the war, which began with Hamas’ Oct. 7 massacre across southern Israel. (Read more)

4. Cabinet approves increase in supply of fuel to Gaza, Smotrich and Ben Gvir oppose - Israel National News
Following pressure by the US, the Political-Security Cabinet on Wednesday evening approved an increase in the supply of fuel entering the Gaza Strip.
Most of the ministers supported the decision. Ministers Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben Gvir objected and voted against.
A statement from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Office said that the cabinet “approved the War Cabinet's recommendation to allow the minimal addition of fuel necessary to prevent a humanitarian collapse and the outbreak of epidemics in the southern Gaza Strip.” (Read more)

5. UN Sec-Gen invokes rare article in attempt to force a ceasefire - Israel National News
United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres invoked a rarely-used article of the UN charter in an attempt to force the Security Council to act to stop the ongoing war between Israel and the Hamas terrorist organization.
Guterres invoked Article 99, which states: "The Secretary-General may bring to the attention of the Security Council any matter which in his opinion may threaten the maintenance of international peace and security." This is the first time Guterres has invoked this article since becoming Secretary-General. He did not do so in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine or the takeover of Afghanistan by the Taliban following America's withdrawal in 2021.
In his letter to Security Council President José Javier De la Gasca Lopez Domínguez, the Secretary-General claimed that he expects “public order to completely break down due to desperate conditions, rendering even limited humanitarian assistance impossible.”

1. Rep. Andy Biggs Introduces FISA Overhaul Bill as Section 702 Renewal Approaches - The Gateway Pundit
Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ) on Monday introduced the bipartisan Protect Liberty and End Warrantless Surveillance Act (PLEWSA) to overhaul Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).
The new legislation will protect our Fourth Amendment rights by limiting the FBI’s ability to surveil Americans and ending the current practice of collecting and spying on Americans’ communications without a warrant.
Section 702, a law intended to authorize intelligence agencies to surveil foreign threats, is set to expire at the end of the year, and Congress is considering reauthorization. While it purports to keep us safe from threats, this law also gives federal agencies the power to spy on innocent Americans and access their stored communications data without a warrant, according to a news release from Congressman Biggs. 2. Rep. Kevin McCarthy, the ousted speaker, announces he’s leaving Congress - NBC News
Rep. Kevin McCarthy, who this fall became the first speaker to be ousted from power in the middle of a congressional term, said Wednesday he will resign from office at the end of this month. His exit is a blow to his successor, Speaker Mike Johnson, and House Republicans, further cutting the already narrow GOP majority and making passing legislation in 2024 even more challenging.
"No matter the odds, or personal cost, we did the right thing. That may seem out of fashion in Washington these days, but delivering results for the American people is still celebrated across the country," McCarthy, R-Calif., wrote in an op-ed in The Wall Street Journal.
“It is in this spirit that I have decided to depart the House at the end of this year to serve America in new ways. I know my work is only getting started,” he said. (Read more)

3. House Committees Produce 78-Page Report on DOJ’s ‘Deviations’ in Hunter Biden Probe - Breitbart
The House Judiciary, Ways and Means, and Oversight Committees jointly released an interim 78-page staff report on Tuesday about the Justice Department’s (DOJ) “deviations” in the five-year investigation into Hunter Biden, describing political interference in the probe.
The report will be reviewed by lawmakers, who are likely to vote upon a formalized impeachment inquiry in preparation for potentially pursuing articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden.
The report outlines testimony from several DOJ officials and IRS whistleblowers. IRS agents alleged in April that Biden administration political appointees politically interfered with the DOJ’s probe, though several officials appointed by Biden deny the claims.

4. Pope Francis Signs Declaration Affirming ‘Global Climate Crisis - Breitbart
Pope Francis has signed an interfaith statement asserting that humanity faces a “global climate crisis” that demands phasing out fossil fuels. The Abu Dhabi Interfaith Statement for COP28 manifests the signers’ “shared concern for the escalating climate impacts that imperil our cherished planet, as well as our common commitment to jointly address this global crisis.”
“Our faith instills in us a sacred duty to cherish not only our human family, but also the fragile ecosystem that cradles us,” the text states.
The pope signed the Abu Dhabi Interfaith Statement for COP28 — which “recognizes the intrinsic rights of ecosystems, encompassing water, oceans, and seas, to exist, thrive, and rejuvenate” — as fruit of the United Nations climate summit in Dubai.
Curiously, the interfaith text makes no mention of God, Jesus, the Creator, or divinity but instead makes repeated references to “Mother Earth,” calling her “a source of life that must be protected.” (Read more)

5. Nevada grand jury indicts six 2020 Trump electors - Just The News
Nevada grand jury on Wednesday indicted six Trump electors who asserted that the former president had won the state in 2020, marking the latest in a string of such cases involving electors in states that narrowly broke for President Joe Biden.
Reports emerged in mid-November that Nevada Democratic Attorney General Aaron Ford was investigating the slate. The six would-be electors submitted certificates to Congress claiming Trump won Nevada. Electors in both Georgia and Michigan have also faced charges, though some of the Georgia slate have since cut immunity deals. In Wisconsin, Trump electors settled a civil lawsuit about the issue on Wednesday.
"When the efforts to undermine faith in our democracy began after the 2020 election, I made it clear that I would do everything in my power to defend the institutions of our nation and our state," Ford said Wednesday, according to the Washington Post. (Read more)

Former President Trump participated in a town hall hosted by Fox News’s Sean Hannity on Tuesday, a night before the fourth Republican primary debate that the GOP front-runner is once again skipping.
“They want to call you a dictator,” Hannity said referring to the media reports. “To be clear, do you in any way have any plans whatsoever, if reelected president, to abuse power, to break the law, to use the government to go after people?” “You mean like they’re using right now,” Trump initially responded, before pivoting to speaking about the criminal indictments he faces.
Energy and foreign policy were at the forefront as Trump talked about his priorities and actions he’d take during a second term in the Oval Office. Responding to Hannity’s questions about whether he’d act as a “dictator” or “abuse power as retribution” during another presidential term, Trump said he’d do so only on day one — to close the border and to drill for oil.
And on foreign policy, Trump stressed concerns about the southern border and touted the controversial travel ban that went into effect during his administration, targeting several Muslim-majority countries. (Read more)

7. Attorney General Ken Paxton Sues U.S. State Department for Conspiring to Censor American Media Companies - Texas Attorney General
The State of Texas and media companies The Daily Wire and The Federalist have sued the U.S. Department of State, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and other government officials for engaging in a conspiracy to censor, deplatform, and demonetize American media outlets disfavored by the federal government.
Through its Global Engagement Center, the State Department actively intervened in the news-media market to limit the reach and business viability of domestic news organizations by funding censorship technology and private censorship enterprises. Congress authorized creation of the Global Engagement Center expressly to counter foreign propaganda and misinformation.
Instead, the agency weaponized this authority to violate the First Amendment and suppress Americans’ constitutionally-protected speech. The complaint describes the State Department’s project as “one of the most egregious government operations to censor the American press in the history of the nation.” (Read more)

- Lord God, it is such an injustice that American media companies were censored and silenced for trying to properly educate the American people on what was going on. We pray over our media that it would be rejuvenated and restored back to promoting free speech and properly educating American citizens on the issues of the day. 8. Federal Judge Hands Huge Victory To Trump In Bid To Remove Him From Arizona Ballot - The Daily Caller
A federal judge dismissed a case Tuesday seeking to remove former president Donald Trump from Arizona’s presidential ballot.
John Anthony Castro, a little-known Republican presidential candidate, filed the lawsuit in September alleging that Trump is ineligible for office under the Fourteenth Amendment because he provided “aid and comfort” to Jan. 6 “insurrectionists.” U.S. District Judge Douglas Rayes, an Obama appointee, ruled that Castro does not have standing to sue because there is “no evidence” he has Arizona supporters or is truly running for office.
Castro had claimed Trump’s candidacy would harm him by drawing away votes and fundraising. The judge wrote that Castro is “attempting to manufacture a competitive injury solely for purposes of pursuing litigation.” (Read more)

Stupidocrisy: The Chilling Tyranny Upon Us

The recent revelation of the January search warrant issued by Barack Obama-appointed Judge Beryl Howell to obtain all user information associated with former President Trump’s Twitter account is no less a chilling sign of tyranny upon every American. That Democrat-appointed Special Prosecutor Jack Smith, who is investigating Trump, colluded with Howell to get such a widespread warrant clearly indicates it’s more than Trump they are pursuing—its every American citizen who may dissent from the leftist-controlled government and administrative system. This is setting a standard of tyranny against you that those who disagree with you can and will prevent you from exercising your Constitutionally-guaranteed freedoms.
In his book Democracy in America, Volume II (1840), Alexis de Tocqueville defines soft tyranny: “It [the government] covers the surface of society with a network of small, complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd. The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided; men are seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting. Such a power does not destroy, but it prevents existence: it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd.” This is his definition of soft tyranny.

Praying for Israel

Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----
Centuries ago, around 165 B.C., the Jews defeated the anti-God pagans who had controlled their nation. The temple in Jerusalem needed to be cleansed from the filth Antiochus Epiphanes had purposely deposited. A cleansed Menorah was then brought in, with oil enough for one candle. The story handed down to us today is that God then, day after day, replenished the oil for the full eight candles.
Today, Yeshua/Jesus is the Eternal Light. And, as we see God shaking all that can be shaken, (Hebrews 12:28-29), we believers in Yeshua/Jesus, Jews and Gentiles, having repented and converted into His kingdom, (Acts 3:19), are now called to cleanse our own temples, "perfecting holiness in the fear of God." (2 Corinthians 7:1).
We need now to fill our individual temples with the oil of the Holy Spirit as His Bride, Matthew 25:1-13, to be ready for His soon return as the Bridegroom. As each of us removes the "plague of our hearts" our nations also may be healed.

Tropical Cyclone Jasper expected to intensify today as BOM warns it could track towards Queensland coast

For quite some days the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) has been reporting that an early season severe tropical cyclone could form from a tropical low near the Solomon Islands. That occurred on Tuesday 5 December and it was named Tropical Cyclone Jasper. It quickly intensified from Category 1 to Category 2.

As at 10 am AEST today Wednesday 6 December TC Jasper, Category 2, was 1430 km east north east of Cairns, travelling south at 9 km per hour, and is due to intensify to severe Category 3 overnight tonight.
Here is the ABC’s latest call to Queenslanders to prepare for the cyclone.

I ask the members of our network to do as we have done with previous cyclones over the years, to be on watch and follow the movement and development of the cyclone. Please pray continuously for the Lord to have mercy on man and beast, life and limb, in all areas affected by the cyclone, and however else the Lord leads you to pray.
