White House pins spike in terrifying violence rocking
the country on everybody but softball-self
|

White House says there are a 'range of reasons' for increase in crime stemming from COVID pandemic:
Press secretary Jen Psaki mentioned that the rise has taken place during the COVID-19 pandemic.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Monday that there are a "range of reasons" for the increase in crime and smash-and-grab robberies in cities across the country, dodging a question on whether "soft on crime" policies are to blame.
Smash-and-grab looters have been targeting stores across the nation in recent weeks, robbing retailers of thousands of dollars in merchandise in cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle, New York, and Minneapolis.
During a White House briefing Monday, Psaki was asked whether she thought cities were experiencing an increase in crime due to its prosecutors and their "soft on crime" approach.
"I would say, we have seen, I’m not going to attribute the reasoning from here," Psaki said. "What I will tell you is we have seen an increase in crime over the course of the pandemic. There are a range of reasons for that."
Psaki, though, said the White House is focused on "what we can do to address it."
"The president has proposed additional funding in the budget to make sure local police departments and cops have the funding they need," Psaki said. "We also have worked directly with police departments in areas where they are seeing the highest impact of the crime, the retail theft—which we have great concern about."
She added: "That’s what our focus is on currently -- is action and doing what we can to make sure the funding is out there to the communities that need it the most."
Psaki was pressed further on specific incidents of criminals released from prison back to the streets without prosecution—such as the man who allegedly burned down the Fox News "All American Christmas" tree in New York City last week—and whether President Biden felt that was "good governing." - Lord, we ask for a spirit of transparency to invade the hearts and minds of those in government leadership. The truth has been replaced with a deception that is being spread among the people and media of our nation. We pray that our elected officials seek Your almighty hand and that righteousness prevail in America. In God we trust!
- For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. (Romans 5:19)

1. Netanyahu: ‘A grave mistake’ if Israel updated US before striking Iranian sites - Times of Israel
Opposition Leader Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday hit out at the government after a report said Israel consulted with the United States before carrying out attacks on an Iranian nuclear facility and a missile base.
“I saw the report in the New York Times that Israel is updating the United States regarding its operations and plans vis-a-vis Iran. If this is true, this is a grave mistake,” Netanyahu said during a Knesset faction meeting of his Likud party.
According to the report Saturday, Israel spoke with the US ahead of an attack in June on a facility in Karaj used in the construction of centrifuges needed to enrich uranium. It did so again before allegedly striking a secret missile base belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in September. (Read more)

2. Corona Cabinet Imposes New Restrictions, Mulls 4th Vaccination - Jewish Press
Corona Czar Prof. Salman Zarka on Saturday night told Kan 11 News there is a possibility that a fourth vaccine will be needed due to the spread of the Omicron strain in Israel, although it is too early to decide. However, he added, “We are learning about new things every day. We may say in a few days that additional vaccination is needed.”
Prime Minister Naftali Bennett announced the imposition of new restrictions Saturday night, as part of tackling the spread of the Omicron variant. The Health Ministry announced on Saturday that 20 new cases of Omicron had been identified, bringing to 55 the number of cases in Israel. According to Prof. Zarka, carriers of the Omicron variant who were vaccinated do not experience serious symptoms. (Read more)

3. Ministerial committee pulls security, chauffeurs from Netanyahu’s family - Times of Israel
The ministerial committee that oversees the operations of the Shin Bet security agency voted Sunday to stop providing personal security for former prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s wife and adult sons, six months after the longtime leader was ousted from power.
The decision, which goes into effect Monday, came despite pleas from Netanyahu that his family is regularly subjected to death threats.
While his sons Yair and Avner, and wife Sara, will lose their security detail, Netanyahu himself will be protected by the Shin Bet for the next 20 years. (Read more)

The Abraham Accords Peace Institute (AAPI) convened its inaugural “Trade and Investment Forum” last week at the Emirates Palace hotel in Abu Dhabi, led by chairman Jared Kushner and executive director Rob Greenway, under the auspices of Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, national security adviser of the United Arab Emirates. The forum served as a catalyst for accelerating and deepening the economic ties between the four countries that have signed the Abraham Accords: the UAE, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco.
The event brought together high-ranking officials, investment bodies, business leaders and representatives from Israel, the UAE, Israel, Bahrain, Morocco, Egypt and Jordan to review progress in building economic ties over the past year, prioritize solutions for obstacles to optimal trade and advance decisions regarding strategic initiatives for the coming year. 5. Second Synagogue from Temple Era Excavated in Migdal near the Kinneret - Jewish Press
A 2000-year-old synagogue from the Second Temple period was recently discovered in Migdal, a large Jewish settlement from that era. Migdal, believed to have been located on the site of the depopulated village of al-Majdal, on a hilltop overlooking the Kinneret, served as the main base for Yosef Ben Matityahu (Flavius Josephus) in his war against the Romans in Galilee during the Great Revolt. This is the first time that two synagogues have been found in a single settlement from the Second Temple period.
“The discovery of a second synagogue in this Galilean settlement casts light on the social and religious lives of the Jews in the area in this period and reflects a need for a dedicated building for Torah reading and study and for social gatherings,” commented Dina Avshalom-Gorni, one of the directors of the excavations. “The discovery of a second synagogue casts new light on Jewish communal life in Galilee.” (Read more)

1.Gov. Newsom to Use Texas Abortion Law as Model to Install Gun Control (breitbart.com)
Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom recently announced California will be a “sanctuary state” for women seeking to abort their child in the wake of the Texas Heartbeat Act that protects the unborn. Now he wants to use the legislation as a template to put gun control laws in place.
The Texas law not only prohibits abortion after a heartbeat is detected but also allows citizens to report violations of the law. California state officials are crafting a measure that would let residents seek damages of at least $10,000, plus legal fees, against gun manufacturers and retailers.
“If states can now shield their laws from review by the federal courts that compare assault weapons to Swiss Army knives,” Newsom said in a press release issued on Saturday. “Then California will use that authority to protect people’s lives, where Texas used it to put women in harm’s way.”
“If the most efficient way to keep these devastating weapons off our streets is to add the threat of private lawsuits we should do just that,” Newsom said.
- Lord, we pray that You will destroy this man’s agenda. We pray Your Holy Spirit will flood the state of California with the conviction of sin. We call upon Your Mighty Name to bring life to those who are stricken with the deception and lies of the Newsom agenda.
- “And when He comes, He will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no longer; concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.” (John 16: 8-11)

2.Biden will meet Manchin next week to persuade him on $1.9 trillion social spending bill - Washington Times
President Biden will meet with West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin next week to talk him into supporting the administration’s $1.9 trillion social spending bill.
Mr. Biden told reporters on Friday that he wasn’t sure if he could convince the moderate Democrat to vote on passing his bill, better known as Build Back Better.
“I don’t know the answer to that,” Mr. Biden said in response to whether he could persuade Mr. Manchin. “I’m going to be talking to him at the beginning of the week.”
The House narrowly passed the bill last month, with Maine Rep. Jared Golden being the sole Democrat to vote against the package.
Mr. Manchin is a key swing vote in the Senate who could derail Democrats’ hopes of passing the bill which would expand the U.S. welfare state.
- Lord, we pray that not one word spoken by Biden will sway Sen Manchin. Bind his mind and heart to Your truth and make him strong against the deception.
- “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.” (Ephesians 6:10)

3. .Hillary Clinton: If Trump Wins in 2024, It 'Could Be the End of Our Democracy' (breitbart.com)
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the 2016 Democratic Party nominee for president, said Sunday on NBC’s “Today” that if former President Donald Trump won the presidency in 2024, it “could be the end” of U.S. democracy.
Clinton said, “If I were a betting person right now, I’d say Trump is going to run again. He seems to be setting himself up to do that, and if he’s not held accountable, then he gets to do it again. I think that could be the end of our democracy. Not to be too pointed about it, but I want people to understand that this is a make-or-break point. If he or someone of his ilk were once again to be elected president, and if especially if he had a Congress that would do his bidding, you will not recognize our country.”
- Lord, with the Democrats in control we don’t recognize America now! We pray that You will find a way to prevent anyone from listening to his woman’s nonsensical ravings.
- “Whoever trusts in his own mind is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered.” (Proverbs 28:26)

4.Pence fuels speculation of 2024 presidential bid | TheHill
Former Vice President Mike Pence’s visit to New Hampshire last week and stops in other high-profile early primary states are fueling speculation about a potential 2024 presidential run — and questions about whether he can win over the GOP voters he angered on Jan. 6.
In New Hampshire, Pence made a number of campaign-style stops, attending a fundraiser for Republican state Senate candidates, meeting with local political activists and stopping by a local bakery.
While the former vice president insists that he is laser-focused on bolstering support for Republican candidates running in 2022, New Hampshire is the latest early primary state he’s visited as he works to navigate political life after former President Trump.
- Lord, whoever runs for President in 2024 must be a strong, powerful person who is not easily swayed by pressures from others. We ask for the absolute correct persons who seek the office of President.
- “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” (Romans 12:2)

5.Fauci: Americans may 'just have to deal with' more COVID boosters | Fox News
National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Dr. Anthony Fauci said that Americans will "just have to deal with" the prospect of getting more coronavirus booster shots.
Fauci made the statement on Sunday morning and said that the level of protection that the current coronavirus booster shots give to individuals will have to be monitored closely over the next several months.
"If it becomes necessary to get yet another boost, then we’ll just have to deal with it when that occurs," Fauci said.
The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director also said that he's "hoping" that a third mRNA shot will give longer-lasting protection.
- Lord, when will people stop listening to this man who had openly lied to Congress? If he will not repent, we ask for You to remove him from any place of “authority” and take away his ability to persuade.
- “Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue is but for a moment.” (Prov. 12:19)

6.Biden's New "Regressive" Methane Tax Will Raise Average American's Gas Bill By 17%: Op-Ed | ZeroHedge
At a time when the Biden administration is panicking in an attempt to keep energy prices down, the House has slapped a "fee" on methane that is being called a "stealth tax" on natural gas and everyone who uses it.
The House bill results in an "escalating tax on methane emissions by oil and gas producers," a new op-ed in the Wall Street Journal points out. The tax will hit $1,500 per ton by 2025 and the fee is supposed to be a contribution to recent promises made in Glasgow to curb methane emissions.
The cost of the fee will obviously get passed along to the consumer, which will then result in even higher energy prices than consumers are already struggling with. 180 million Americans use natural gas to hear their homes, the report says.
In the meantime, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) has come out and stated that half of U.S. households that heat with natural gas will pay 30% more than winter than they did last year. This methane tax could add another 17% to an average bill, the WSJ editorial board writes.
- Lord, the agenda to destroy the middle class in America is moving forward at a breakneck pace. We ask for Your intervention to hold the line for Your people. You alone are our Provision.
- “I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread. He is ever lending generously, and his children become a blessing.” (Psalm 37: 25-26)

7.California OSHA serves warrant to San Jose Church and interrogates employees about Covid compliance | The Post Millennial
Following over a year of challenges with courts and the government, Calvary Chapel Pastor Mike McClure spoke out about government overreach and the actions taken against his church over the course of the pandemic.
Cavalry Chapel is a church based on San Jose, California, which also has a school associated with it. The church reopened in May for services after being shut down at the beginning of the pandemic, despite stay-at-home orders that were currently in place in the state.
In June, the church sued the state and county in federal court over its closure, and in October, the county sued the church. At that point the county began to fine the church for violating COVID-19 health order violations.
The church has accrued $3.8 million in fines from the county, with McClure being fined $100,000 personally.
- Lord, we ask You to stand with this congregation and Pastor against the persecution being waged against them. We take authority over the fines, bind them tightly to Your will over Your people, and ask that the enormous amounts be removed entirely.
- “The Lord knows the days of the blameless, and their heritage will remain forever; they are not put to shame in evil times; in the days of famine they have abundance.” (Psalm 37:18-19)

8.Only 18% Of American Households Are Families With Married Parents | The Daily Wire
Children need a mother and a father — a context that more American youth than ever are lacking.
Among the 130 million households in the United States, only 17.8% feature married parents with children — down from over 40% in 1970, according to the Census Bureau.
The Daily Mail summarized:
There are currently just 23.1 million American homes with those ‘nuclear families,’ which is the fewest since 1959. The reasons given for the drop include the pandemic delaying marriage and a continued decline in birth rate.
The average age of a woman at her first marriage is now 28.6 years. In the 1950s and 60s, women typically married at 20.4 years old. The average age for men to marry for the first time in 2021 was 30.4 years old. America’s fertility rate dropped to 55.4 births per 1,000 in the second quarter of 2021, down from 58.5 in the same period of 2019.
Americans are also living alone at a higher rate than they used to. The percentage of adults in the US living with a spouse was 50 percent, down from 52 percent 10 years ago. Over 37 million adults lived alone in early 2021, up from 33 million in 2011. As far back as 1960, 87 percent of adults lived with a spouse.
Analysts and commentators have pointed toward declining rates of religiosity, higher living expenses, the permutation of LGBTQ ideology, and even climate alarmism to explain the erosion of the American family. Indeed, the United States economy is already feeling pressure from the nation’s demographic crisis — for example, through the looming insolvency of Social Security and other programs.
- Lord, these statistics grieve us, as it reveals how far away from You this nation as moved. We ask for a huge move of repentance across every corner of America.
- “Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out.” (Acts 3:19)

9. Republicans: If a Special Envoy Is to Monitor and Combat ‘Islamophobia’ It Needs to Be Defined | CNSNews
(Update: The House Foreign Affairs Committee on Friday approved the Combating International Islamophobia Act in a party line vote. Rep. Chabot’s amendment referred to in the story below was defeated, also along party lines. Majority Leader Steny Hoyer said the bill would receive a House floor vote on Tuesday.)
(CNSNews.com) – A bill to create a special envoy to monitor and combat “Islamophobia” ran into Republican opposition in the House Foreign Affairs Committee on Thursday, as critics pushed for amendments to define the phenomenon – and some were themselves accused by Democrats of Islamophobia.
Authored by Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.), the Combating International Islamophobia Act would create an “Office to Monitor and Combat Islamophobia” at the State Department, headed by a special envoy.
The bill, which enjoys the strong backing of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), would require the State Department to include specific data relating to Islamophobia in its annual human rights and international religious freedom reports.
“In the past 20 years we have seen a staggering rise in Islamophobia worldwide,” Omar said, citing anti-Muslim atrocities in China and Burma; abuses in India; the plight faced by Muslim migrants in Hungary, Poland, and Belarus; and terror attacks like the 2019 mass shooting at two mosques in New Zealand.
- Lord, this is a dangerous bill and we pray that You will stop it. “Islamophobia” is actually a Muslim term that is akin to “slander” from the Quran and this bill would open the door to curtailing even more speech in the nation.
- “For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” (Galatians 5:1)

10. FL Sen. Marco Rubio Announces Bill to Stop Federal Funding to Cities Allowing Non-Citizens to Vote | CBN News
Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) announced Friday that he plans to introduce legislation to withhold federal funds from cities that permit people who are not citizens to vote. His move came just one day after the New York City Council voted to give non-citizens the right to vote in local elections.
"No city which allows non-U.S. citizens to vote should receive U.S. government funds," Rubio wrote in a tweet. "Next week I am going to file a bill to make that the law."
Rubio previously said in a November statement that actions taken by the Biden administration have escalated the number of illegal immigrants in America.
"Since his candidacy, President Biden has repeatedly signaled that America's borders are open," Rubio said. "It's no wonder illegal immigration has skyrocketed as a result. Now, the Biden Administration is seeking to pay large sums of money to those who sought to illegally cross our border. This is complete and utter lunacy. I will not allow American taxpayers to be forced into paying reparations to those who broke the law."
The measure does not allow people who are in the U.S. illegally to vote, but it does apply to about 800,000 of New York City's non-citizens, which adds up to about 10 percent of the registered voters in America's largest city.
- Lord, thank You that Senator Rubio has seen the problem of allowing noncitizens to vote. We ask that You will stop these cities such as New York from doing this- it would sway elections severely.
- “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.” (Matthew 7:13-14)

11. Military Grants Zero Religious Exemptions as Vaccination Deadlines Come and Go | CBN News
A growing number of U.S. service members say the military is stripping them of their religious liberties.
This news comes as many of the COVID-19 vaccination deadlines for active-duty members have passed without a single religious exemption being granted.
"It goes against my bodily sovereignty as a Christian. I mean God makes it very clear. This body that I'm given is my last bastion of freedom," one Army National Guardsman described to CBN News about the vaccination mandate. At the request of legal counsel, he asked not to be identified.
He says he received other vaccines from the military without doing much research. But that wasn't the case with the COVID-19 shot.
"This is supposed to be something that's good for me and yet I'm being punished if I do not take something that's good for me. When that was the case, when that happened, I began to question why is this being forced so heavily on us," the Guardsman told CBN News.
In his request for a religious exemption, he cited fetal cell lines used in the research and development phase of the mRNA vaccines and in the production of Johnson & Johnson's shot. If his request isn't granted, he says he'll take a discharge before going against his beliefs.
First Liberty Institute is representing a group of 35 Navy SEALs seeking exemptions with similar concerns.
- Lord, this is an unconstitutional act on the part of the Military, and part of an agenda to purge the ranks of our defenders. In the Mighty Name of Jesus and by the power of His Blood, we rebuke this and ask for Your intervention to stop it.
- “For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” (1 Corinthians 1:18)

12. Video shows potentially troubling discussion about hiding information from 2020 election – WND News Center
A senior contributor to The Federalist confirms the organization has obtained access to a whistleblower video showing Pennsylvania election workers talking about how to hide “derogatory” information about the 2020 election management.
The column by Margot Cleveland, whose career includes serving as a law clerk to a federal appellate judge, is just the latest report to add to evidence of possible hanky panky in the 2020 election results.
Other factors include that various state officials arbitrarily changed state laws to accommodate mail-in ballots which favored Joe Biden, various efforts by legacy and online media to suppress negative information about Biden and his family just days before the election, and the $420 million that Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook turned over to local elections officials with instructions mostly that they recruit voters from Democrat districts.
- Lord, as we continue to see evidence that the 2020 election was a disaster, we pray that somehow You will make it right in spite of the opposition.
- “The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him.” (Nahum 1:7)

The Difficulties Of Choosing Life
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, December 13, 2021
While the Supreme Court is considering what to do with abortion, there is yet another threat to the unborn—COVID. In particular there are alarming reports where pregnant women have been vaccinated only to have their babies stillborn. In Waterloo Ontario, for example, Dr. Daniel Nagase told The Gateway Pundit that, “There were 86 stillbirths between January and July. Normally, it’s only five or six stillbirths every year. So, about one stillbirth every two months is the usual rate. To suddenly get to 86 stillbirths in six months, that’s highly unusual. But the most important confirmation that we have from the Waterloo, Ontario report was that all of the 86 stillbirths were fully vaccinated.”
The Centers for Disease Control website says, “COVID-19 vaccination is recommended for people who are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to get pregnant now, or might become pregnant in the future…Evidence about the safety and effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccination during pregnancy has been growing. These data suggest that the benefits of receiving a COVID-19 vaccine outweigh any known or potential risks of vaccination during pregnancy.” In fact, there are claims throughout the CDC website that there are no “known” risks and “No adverse pregnancy-related outcomes” for the clinical trials. But it does admit that evidence of safety and effectiveness of the vaccine during pregnancy is limited.

How the multi-state December tornado outbreak formed
|
|
AccuWeather Director of Forecast Operations Dan DePodwin explained how the ingredients for the devastating December severe weather came together — and what forecasters are watching for the remainder of the month.
The deadly tornado outbreak of Dec. 10 spanned multiple states in the central and southern United States and left hundreds of miles of devastation. With tornado outbreaks of this caliber typically occurring between February and June, many are left to wonder how such a devastating outbreak could occur in December.
AccuWeather Director of Forecast Operations Dan Depodwin said the outbreak that occurred was "a very rare situation."
"We talk about these types of events with numerous tornadoes ... several violent [tornadoes] with what appears to be violent EF4 or maybe EF5 tornadoes. Those typically occur in the springtime in the February through June time frame in most cases," said Depodwin.
Severe weather can happen this time of year, but Depodwin says it's typically confined to the Gulf Coast region.
"I think what really surprised me, and struck most of the weather community, about this outbreak yesterday was how far north they came and how violent the tornadoes were," he said over the weekend. Read More

'GOD WILL WORK IT OUT': MAN TRAPPED UNDER CANDLE FACTORY DEBRIS SURVIVES HORROR, WIFE RECOUNTS PRAYING WITH HIM OVER THE PHONE
|
|
"...I'm thinking, 'Oh my God, is he going to make it? So I prayed with him over the phone, too. I just kept talking to him, kept telling him that God will work it out, be strong, don't give up, keep fighting." -Courtney Saxton
The wife of a Kentucky man trapped under a collapsed candle factory recalled the harrowing moments during which she prayed with her husband over the phone, telling him to "keep fighting," and that God would "work it out." (Screengrab image)
The details given by Courtney Saxton, 38, are spine chilling, as her husband, Mark, 37, fearfully called her Friday night in the wake of the collapse. He was trapped in the debris and rubble of the Mayfield Consumer Products factory after tornadoes ripped through multiple states that evening.
"He was calling us hollering and screaming and crying because he was stuck," she told the Associated Press. "It was scary for me because I'm thinking, ‘Oh my God, is he going to make it? So I prayed with him over the phone, too. I just kept talking to him, kept telling him that God will work it out, be strong, don't give up, keep fighting."
And keep fighting he did. Mark Saxton survived the ordeal with minor scrapes and bruises, though he lost hiscousin, Robert Daniels—a corrections officer overseeing inmates working at the site—in the tragedy. Read More

21 Days of Repentance
Day #22: The Final Chapter ~ Let There Be Light
TODAY'S REPENTANCE REFLECTION:
Chapter #22 ~ He Will Rebuild
I love the perfect synchronicity of scripture. In Chapter 1, God declared "Let there be Light!" (Genesis 1:3) and here we are in Revelation Chapter 22, the grand finale, and God is declaring once more "Let there be Light!"
There will be no more night in the city, and they will have no need for the light of a lamp or of the sun. For the Lord God will shine on them, and they will reign forever and ever.
~Revelation 22:5 (Berean Study Bible)
Notice in Genesis 1:3, the Sun had not yet been physically created yet there was still Light. So, when we reach the end of God's Epic Drama, we realize the True Light has emanated from Him all along. It has always come from The"Son"...Christ. The Light of the Son has guided us each and every day since the beginning of time even when He had not arrived in the flesh yet. This same Light guides us until He physically returns once more.

The Solid Rock
To listen to this classic hymn, CLICK HERE
Words: Edward Mote
Music: William Bradbury
Scripture: The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. Matthew 7:25–26
Lyrics:
My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness.
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly trust in Jesus’ name.
Refrain
On Christ the solid rock I stand,
All other ground is sinking sand;
All other ground is sinking sand
When darkness seems to hide His face,
I rest on His unchanging grace.
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.
Refrain
His oath, His covenant, His blood,
Support me in the whelming flood.
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay.
Refrain
When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh may I then in Him be found.
Dressed in His righteousness alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.
