Biden planning to 'protect' us from cash – beginning Dec. 13!
|
|
Some of America's smartest men, including Robert Kiyosaki, investment guru and author of the personal finance book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad," have some choice words for Executive Order 14067.
It would behoove you to listen to them.
Kiyosaki called President Joe Biden's signed executive order "the most treasonous act in U.S. history" and the creation of Central Bank Digital Currencies, or CBDC, as "communism in its purest form," encouraging Americans to "stay awake."
He is joined by Jim Rickards, another economist, investor and former CIA official who is calling it a step toward the end of cash, the greenback, in circulation since the founding fathers. The new "digital tokens" can be "turned off" if the government doesn't like what you are doing. Rickards has four decades of experience on Wall Street.
Rickards criticized CBDC and labeled it as "Bitcoin's Evil Cousin." He also exposed the supposed singular event called C-Day, which according to him, will take place on Dec. 13, 2022, and will disrupt the traditional financial systems in the U.S. (WND) Read more here.

- Lord, we bind the Biden administration and Biden himself from doing anything to disrupt the United States to such a drastic extent. Let nothing that is in the book of Revelation be done outside of Your will or timeline. Grant Your people great wisdom at this difficult time.

Former White House Chief of Staff Never Witnessed ‘Intentional Destruction of Important Papers’
|
|
Former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney said in an interview with CNN on Aug. 11 that he never witnessed “intentional destruction of important papers” during his time in office.
Mulvaney, who served the Trump administration for 15 months and has been a critic of former President Donald Trump since, told CNN’s “New Day” host Brianna Keilar, “I never saw the intentional destruction of documents for the purpose of keeping anything from the National Archives or the public in the future.”
According to Mulvaney, all White House staff were well aware of how to comply with paper destruction regulations.
“We knew the rules, we taped them back together, and we made copies. As long as copies are preserved, you can pretty much do whatever you want to with the other documents,” he said.
Grilled by Keilar if he had ever seen Trump rip documents, Mulvaney said he had, but asserted that documents were all handled “in the ordinary course of business.”
“The flushing,” the host said, referring to claims made by New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman. “You never heard about him flushing documents?”
“Not a single time,” he said. (Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Father God, You are the God of truth. As we continue to bring these accusations before Your Throne of Grace, we trust You to show us Your way in this convoluted mess. Lord God, we thank You that we can trust You to reveal all the facts about this critical matter, in Your time and in Your way. Amen.
- "However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come." (John 16:13)

14 FBI Whistleblowers Have Come Forward:
Rep. Jordan
|
|
Fourteen FBI whistleblowers have come forward to provide information to Republican congressional investigations, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) said on Aug. 14, about a week after the FBI raided former President Donald Trump’s Florida home.
“Fourteen FBI agents have come to our office as whistleblowers, and they are good people,” Jordan told Fox News. “There are lots of good people in the FBI. It’s the top that is the problem.”
“Some of these good agents are coming to us, telling us … what’s going on—the political nature now of the Justice Department … talking about the school board issue, about a whole host of issues,” he added.
Two months ago, Jordan said that six FBI whistleblowers approached the committee. Two came forward about a memo related to alleged violence and intimidation at school board meetings and four in connection to the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol breach. In the Senate, meanwhile, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) said in July that whistleblowers had come to his office to provide information, including disclosures relating to investigations into Hunter Biden’s overseas business dealings.
“It’s becoming a well-worn trail of agents who say this has got to stop, and thank goodness for them and that American people recognize it, and I believe they’re going to make a big change on Nov. 8,” Jordan said, referring to the midterm elections. (Read more here)

- Father God, we thank You that, indeed, there are still honest agents within the FBI -- those who have sworn to uphold our Constitution and are obeying that oath.
We ask that You keep these men and women safe, both now and in the days ahead, as more and more truth is revealed for all of us to discern. Thank You, O Lord, amen and amen.

Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways." (Psalm 91:9-11)

1. Israeli jets said to target site in coastal Syrian city of Tartus - Times of Israel
Al Arabiya reports that Israeli jets are targeting a site in the coastal Syrian city of Tartus.
According to a Syrian-based correspondent for the London-based Rai al-Youm paper, the Israeli jets first flew over the Lebanese coast before launching their missiles.
The Syrian state-run SANA broadcaster says air defenses are engaging “hostile targets” over the area, without elaborating. (Read more)

2. Abbas’ Fatah Faction Praises Jerusalem Terror Attack, Calls for More - Jewish Press
In three posts on its official Facebook page, the Palestinian Authority’s leading Fatah faction, headed by PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, hurried to endorse and praise the terrorist and his shooting attack carried out Saturday night in Jerusalem.
But more than that, Fatah also encouraged additional attacks, urging Palestinians to “save your bullets and use them against the occupation (i.e., Israel)” on its August 14, 2022 post on the official Fatah Facebook page.
US Ambassador Tom Nides tweeted that he was “deeply saddened to confirm that Americans were injured” in the attack. Two hours earlier, he had condemned the attack. But the ambassador has said nothing about praise for the attack from the leading Palestinian Authority faction, headed by the leader with whom Israel is expected to negotiate for peace.
Such condemnation would be expected, since five US citizens were among the wounded, and since the US supports and is in close contact with both Fatah and Abbas. Indeed, the US funds the Fatah faction that celebrated the injuries of the Americans via the US foreign aid to the Palestinian Authority.
The US silence regarding Fatah’s support for terror can only encourage Fatah to continue supporting and encouraging terror. (Read more)

3. Israel Returns to Helping Gaza After Operation Breaking Dawn - Jewish Press
The State of Israel is returning to its former practice of helping Gaza now that Operation Breaking Dawn is over and the threat from Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists is past – for now.
IDF Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) Maj. Gen. Ghassan Alian told reporters at a briefing on Sunday that Israel is carrying out an integrated policy towards the enclave.
“The policy consists of a military effort to thwart military building, and critically striking at any attempt to harm the security of Israel, while maintaining a proactive civilian policy aimed at the general [Gazan] public,” Alian explained.
Exports from the enclave to Palestinian Authority citizens living in Judea and Samaria are expected to rise by 27 percent this year, a trend that began more than a year ago.
Last year, 4,003 trucks delivered goods from Gaza to the Palestinian Authority; the year before, 3,397 trucks carried the exported products. By the end of 2022, Alian said he expects 5,016 trucks to be making the deliveries. (Read more)

4. Survey: More Than Half of Israeli High-Tech Companies Expect an Increase in Activity in the Coming Year - The Algemeiner
The Central Bureau of Statistics published a special survey aimed at assessing the expectations of the high-tech sector in Israel, from which a clear conclusion can be made: despite the layoffs and talk of a recession, Israeli high-tech remains optimistic.
According to the survey, 51% of high-tech companies replied that they expect an increase in activity in the coming year. Moreover, only a tenth of the companies replied that they expect an actual decrease in activity. In other words, contrary to gloomy forecasts and reports of a major slowdown in the US and Europe, about 90% of the companies responded that they do not expect a decrease in activity. In addition, 37% of the companies reported that they do not expect a significant change in activity in the coming year.
The survey examined the expectations of company executives in the high-tech sector in the context of five key aspects (activity, employee recruitment, wages, credit, and raising capital) and by using a comparison between services high-tech (computer software, computer consulting, information services, and R&D) and industrial high-tech (pharmaceutical production, computers, electronic and optical instruments, aircraft manufacturing, etc.).[Read more here]

1. Biden to meet China's Xi Jinping in November: Report | Washington Examiner
President Joe Biden is set to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping face-to-face in Southeast Asia this November.
The meeting is expected to take place at either the G-20 summit in Indonesia from Nov. 15-16 or the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Bangkok, Thailand, in the following days, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal. The trip would be Xi's second international trip since his visit to Myanmar in January 2020. The two leaders had agreed over a phone call in July to meet in person sometime in the near future, per the White House.
"China supports Indonesia and Thailand as the hosts of the two conferences, and is willing to work with all parties to promote the conference to achieve positive results," China's Foreign Affairs Ministry said in a statement to the Wall Street Journal when asked about the trip.
- Lord, we ask that You be present at this proposed meeting, and protect the United States from any actions that could harm us further.
-“The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it.” (Proverbs 22:3)

2. White House condemns attack on Rushdie: ‘Appalling’ | The Hill
The White House on Friday denounced the attack on author Salman Rushdie, who was stabbed onstage just before he was about to speak at an event in western New York.
“Today, the country and the world witnessed a reprehensible attack against the writer Salman Rushdie,” White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan said in a statement. “This act of violence is appalling.”
“All of us in the Biden-Harris Administration are praying for his speedy recovery. We are thankful to good citizens and first responders for helping Mr. Rushdie so quickly after the attack and to law enforcement for its swift and effective work, which is ongoing,” the statement concluded.
Rushdie, 75, was stabbed in the neck and abdomen. Following the attack, he was immediately flown to a hospital on Friday to undergo surgery. The author’s agent, Andrew Wylie, said that Rushdie was put on a ventilator Friday evening and was suffering from a damaged liver and severed nerves in his arm. The agent added that Rushdie was likely to lose an eye.
- Lord, we ask for a hedge of Your protection around our nation against such violent attacks, and we pray for Mr Rushdie to come to know You personally, and be healed of his injuries.
- “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.” (John 3:16-18)

3. 'War on Seniors': Democrats to Cut Seniors’ Prescription Drug Benefits Ahead of Midterms (breitbart.com)
The passage of the Inflation Reduction Act would mean that Democrats would cut seniors’ Medicare prescription drug benefits ahead of the midterms.
The Senate passed the Democrats’ $700 billion Inflation Reduction Act on Sunday, setting up a vote later this week for the House to pass the bill and make the deal law.
However, the legislation contains stringent leftist price controls that would drastically alter seniors’ benefits.
The Inflation Reduction Act would redesign Medicare Part D, a federal program administrated through private insurance companies to offer retail prescription drug coverage to Medicare beneficiaries. Before Medicare Part D, tens of thousands of Medicare beneficiaries had little help with retail drug costs.
However, in the Democrats’ aim to reduce prescription drug prices, they slipped price controls into the Medicare Part D section of the Inflation Reduction Act.
- Lord, we pray that You will be in control of the health care for all of Your people. You are Jehovah Rapha, the great healer.
- “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.” (Psalm 103:1-5)

4. ‘We Have a Corrupt Medical System in This Country’: Sen. Ron Johnson (theepochtimes.com)
From the early days of the pandemic, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) has been trying to hold U.S. public health agencies accountable on many issues, including why the agencies censored early treatment options for COVID-19, pushed vaccine mandates, and demonstrated a lack of integrity and transparency involving the vaccine data and reporting.
After conducting two years of oversight, Johnson said that the U.S. medical system has been compromised by money from Big Pharma.
“We have a corrupt medical system in this country,” Johnson said in a recent interview for NTD’s “Capitol Report” program. “From the pharmaceutical companies down to the federal health agencies through to the research centers and medical journals. It should concern every American.”
- Lord, we ask for You to judge this situation, and bring justice for the American people.
- “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.” (1 Timothy 6:10)

5. Top Biden Adviser Forced To Recuse Herself From Consulting On Key Issues After Pfizer, Green Energy Ties Revealed | The Daily Wire
A senior Biden administration adviser has been told that she will need to recuse herself from consulting on a number of high profile policy issues because of her work representing major entities like Pfizer and the American Clean Energy Corporation.
CNBC reported this week that Anita Dunn, who joined the Biden administration in May as a senior adviser will also need to divest from a large investment portfolio, estimated to be valued at between $16-$48 million after the release of her financial disclosures.
The move to recuse herself from certain policy issues and divest from her investment portfolio comes after warnings from lawyers that her portfolio and corporate ties could constitute a conflict of interest.
- Lord, we pray that any employee or legislators with such ties to groups that are fueling the current administration’s agenda be revealed and removed.
- “And you shall take no bribe, for a bribe blinds the clear-sighted and subverts the cause of those who are in the right.” (Exodus 23:8)

6. CNN correspondent Bill Weir accuses Republicans of hastening 'the end of a livable Earth' | Washington Examiner
CNN's expert on climate, Bill Weir, blamed Republicans for bringing about the end of the world in a tweet, which he promptly deleted.
"Not a single Republican in either chamber voted for the first piece of ambitious climate legislation in U.S. history," Weir wrote, referring to the Inflation Reduction Act that will soon be signed into law by President Joe Biden. "Best case, they let their opponents become the party of Industrial Revolution 2.0. Worst case, their obstruction hastens the end of a livable Earth."
The bill will pour roughly $370 billion into energy security, with $9 billion going to help homeowners switch to renewable energy and $60 billion allocated for environmental justice programs in disadvantaged communities, among other new energy policies. Meanwhile, GOP lawmakers side with a number of economists who claim the bill will contribute to inflation.
- Lord, we pray that this bill will not destroy Your people or this nation. We bind it, and declare that only Your will shall prevail over the United States. We ask for the soul of those who call for the green agenda and pray that You reveal Yourself to each of them.
- “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.” (Proverbs 1:7)

7. Polio Is Circulating Through New York’s Sewage System, Infecting The Unvaccinated | The Daily Caller
Health officials confirmed Friday that the polio virus was found in New York City’s wastewater, suggesting that the disease is spreading throughout the unvaccinated population.
The presence of polio in wastewater in New York City was said to be “alarming but not surprising,” State Health Commissioner Dr. Mary Bassett commented, according to The Associated Press. “The risk to New Yorkers is real but the defense is so simple — get vaccinated against polio,” NYC Health Commissioner Dr. Ashwin Vasan noted, the AP reported.
“With polio circulating in our communities there is simply nothing more essential than vaccinating our children to protect them from this virus, and if you’re an unvaccinated or incompletely vaccinated adult, please choose now to get the vaccine. Polio is entirely preventable and its reappearance should be a call to action for all of us,” Vasan continued, the outlet noted.
- Lord, this may be localized, and it may not. But we pray that any further spread of this debilitating disease be stopped by the power of the Blood of Jesus.
- ‘If disaster comes upon us, the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house and before you—for Your name is in this house—and cry out to You in our affliction, and You will hear and save.’ (2 Chronicles 20:9)

8. ‘Rewriting History’: New Play At One Of World’s Most Famous Theaters To Portray Joan Of Arc As Gender Neutral | The Daily Caller
A new play at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London will portray French heroine Joan Of Arc as gender neutral and using “they/them” pronouns.
The play, titled “I, Joan,” will open Aug. 25 and run until Oct. 22, the theatre’s website reads. The production is described by the theater as, “alive, queer and full of hope.”
“Rebelling against the world’s expectations, questioning the gender binary, Joan finds their power and their belief spreads like fire,” the website writes of the play.
The theater’s statement on “Identity in I, Joan,” written by Shakespeare’s Globe Artistic Director Michelle Terry, says their portrayal of the heroine as using “they/them” pronouns is consistent with history “as early as 1375.”
- Lord, this rewriting of history grieves us in whatever form it takes. Joan of Arc would not have known anything about this transgender/queer idea. We pray that this entire program will fall flat and not prosper.
- “Remember the days of old; consider the years of many generations; ask your father, and he will show you, your elders, and they will tell you.” (Deuteronomy 32:7)

9. Biden Admin Launches Federal Investigation Into Southern Baptist Convention, Church Says | The Daily Wire
President Joe Biden’s (D) administration has reportedly launched an investigation into the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) over its handling of alleged scandals within the church.
The SBC is the largest protestant faith group in the United States and is among the most politically conservative as 64% of the church’s members are Republican, according to a report from Pew Research Center.
“The SBC Executive Committee recently became aware that the Department of Justice has initiated an investigation into the Southern Baptist Convention, and that the investigation will include multiple SBC entities,” the church’s executive leadership said in a statement. “Individually and collectively each SBC entity is resolved to fully and completely cooperate with the investigation.”
- Lord, we pray that Your people within the SBC would exercise wisdom in this investigation.
- “Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.” (Ephesians 5:15-17)

Wormwood And Gall
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, August 15, 2022
In lamenting over Zion, in Jeremiah 9:13-15, the Lord said, “Because they have forsaken My law which I set before them, and have not obeyed My voice, nor walked according to it, but they have walked according to the dictates of their own hearts and after the Baals, which their fathers taught them, therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: “Behold, I will feed them, this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.” This grieving could also reflect today’s America. When the federal government uses policing powers for political purposes, no one in the land of Liberty is safe. And because of this nation’s spiritual condition, it is akin to being fed a diet of wormwood and gall.
It is time for all Americans to get right with God. This is the only way people are going to see truth. We are living in a time where evil usurpers of the laws of God are using accusations and sensation in the absence of any fact to undermine what is meant for right and good—the Constitution of the United States established on the premise of inalienable rights given by God the Creator. You see, rights are not granted by government, they are embedded in the precepts of God Almighty and bestowed upon His creation. Governments are supposed to be a terror to evil as described in Romans 13, but when governments are against God, we must respond as did Peter in Acts 5:29 by saying, “We must obey God rather than man.” Read More

1. Former Federal Prosecutor: ‘Seven Chances In Ten’ Trump Gets Indicted - The Daily Wire
Former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy told Daily Wire host Andrew Klavan Friday that he believes there are “seven chances in ten” the Department of Justice (DOJ) indicts former President Donald Trump on federal charges.
On Monday, the FBI removed 11 sets of classified information from Trump’s home in southern Florida, reportedly taking some documents marked “top secret” that were supposed to be stored in government facilities. McCarthy told Klavan he believes the FBI searched Trump’s property with a “closet agenda” to look for information regarding the president’s role in the events of January 6, and that there is a good chance the DOJ will indict the former president.
“I would say that seven chances in ten he’s going to be indicted,” the National Review contributing editor told a surprised Klavan. “They may add classified information charges now that they’ve done this, but they are gunning to get him … on January 6.”
McCarthy added that he suspects the FBI had a “closet agenda” behind the search warrant that gave agents access to Trump’s residence at Mar-a-Lago. He said that the bureau was really looking for evidence that Trump conspired to prevent the certification of the 2020 election on January 6, 2021. (Read more)
- Lord, we rebuke this plan to indict President Trump, and pray Your mighty power against these plans of the enemy.

2. Former CIA Director Appears To Suggest Trump Be Executed Over Nuclear Documents - The Daily Caller
A former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) director and an MSNBC contributor appeared to suggest late Thursday that former President Donald Trump be executed over nuclear documents.
MSNBC contributor Michael Beschloss tweeted a photograph of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, two Americans who were convicted of conspiring to hand over U.S. atomic secrets to the Soviet Union and were executed in 1953, according to History. The tweet read, “Rosenbergs were convicted for giving U.S. nuclear secrets to Moscow, and were executed in June 1953.”
“Sounds about right,” former CIA director and four-star Air Force General Michael Hayden responded in a quote tweet. (Read more)

3. Sen. Rand Paul calls for repeal of the Espionage Act following FBI raid of Trump's Florida estate - Fox News
Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., is calling for a repeal of the Espionage Act after the Federal Bureau of Investigation raided former President Trump's Florida estate, Mar-a-Lago.
Paul made the announcement in a tweet on Saturday night.
"The espionage act was abused from the beginning to jail dissenters of WWI. It is long past time to repeal this egregious affront to the 1st Amendment," Paul tweeted.
Agents from the FBI executed a search warrant on the Florida estate of Trump on Monday and seized items, which included 11 sets of material that were listed as classified, as well as some that were marked as top secret.
In a post on Truth Social after the warrant was publicly released on Friday, Trump said that the documents taken by federal agents were "all declassified." (Read more)

4. Trump says FBI seized three of his passports during raid, calls search an 'assault on a political opponent' - Fox News
Former President Trump said the FBI seized three of his passports during its raid on Mar-a-Lago last week, calling the unprecedented search an "assault."
"Wow! In the raid by the FBI of Mar-a-Lago, they stole my three Passports (one expired), along with everything else," Trump posted on his TRUTH Social account. "This is an assault on a political opponent at a level never seen before in our Country."
He added: "Third World!" (Read more here)
- Father God, today we bring before You all those who are involved in this scheme against our 45th president, for they are suppressing or hiding the truth of the facts of this raid. We ask that You would cause each one to repent and to come to You for forgiveness, lest Your wrath come upon them. In Your Mighty Name we pray, amen and amen.

Arizona Bucks Biden Admin, Begins Filling In Huge Border Wall Gap On Its Own
|
|
|
The state of Arizona is taking action to fill in unfinished gaps in the border wall.
Arizona Governor Doug Ducey (R) signed an Executive Order Friday afternoon authorizing the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs to begin emergency construction to fill in a 1,000-foot-long gap in the border wall in the Yuma sector. The spur-of-the-moment order was abruptly announced after construction had already begun, and the governor’s office said construction would be concluded over the weekend. The order comes just days after the Biden administration lifted the “Remain in Mexico” policy earlier this week.
“Arizona has had enough,” Ducey said in a statement. “We can’t wait any longer. The Biden administration’s lack of urgency on border security is a dereliction of duty. For the last two years, Arizona has made every attempt to work with Washington to address the crisis on our border. Time and time again we’ve stepped in to clean up their mess. Arizonans can’t wait any longer for the federal government to deliver on their delayed promises.” (Daily Wire) Read more here.

- Lord, we thank You for this Governor’s actions and pray that his plan is effective. Let no court action stop him.

‘Chocolate waterfall’ roars to life after summer storms
|
|
It’s taller than Niagara Falls, but to see the remote waterfall reminiscent of “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory,” travelers need a lot of rain and a bit of luck.
Sightseers in Arizona witnessed a natural phenomenon that resembled a scene out of the movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, but they didn’t need a golden ticket to see the breathtaking sight, just some rain and a bit of luck.
During most of the year, Grand Falls is a dry cliffside located about 30 miles northeast of Flagstaff, Arizona, in the Navajo Nation. But when the weather conditions come together perfectly, the towering cliffs are brought to life by the thundering roar of water to create a waterfall higher than the 170-foot-tall Niagara Falls.
The chocolate milk-colored water that cascades down the 181-foot cliff is the inspiration behind its nickname of Chocolate Falls, according to the Navajo Tourism Department.
The waterfall is fed by two weather-related occurrences: melting snow flowing off the nearby mountains during the spring and early summer and the rain for thunderstorms during the North American monsoon.
The monsoon has been very active across Arizona as of late, causing the trickling waterfall to be brought to life in a grand fashion. Read More

As Crime Surges in US Cities, Strained Police Forces Turn to Houses of Worship for Help
|
|
Major American cities are facing a perfect storm. Violent crime is growing and law enforcement agencies are struggling to keep officers on the job. Now, some of these cities are bringing faith to the frontlines as police departments fight the increasing crime with fewer officers. In Gresham, Oregon, Sgt. Travis Garrison says a crime spike is forcing his department to choose which calls and crimes they can send officers to. "We're only able to investigate murders," Sgt. Garrison said. "We'll routinely respond to shootings but if the person is going to survive, we are not going to follow up on that." 'Triaging' or prioritizing first responders is becoming commonplace. In Philadelphia, police disbanded their abandoned car unit. In Los Angeles, police cut their homeless outreach and animal cruelty teams. "This is going to take years for us to recover from and my hope is that the people that I work with, that they stick it out," said Sgt. Garrison.
As a growing number of police walk away from the job, violent crime still surges in several major U.S. cities. In an unprecedented move, departments are turning to houses of worship, hoping faith can help reduce that trend. More than 25 law enforcement groups joined prominent faith leaders on Capitol Hill, Tuesday – inviting communities to participate in the National Faith and Blue Weekend. Dr. Rev. Markel Hutchins, head of MovementForward Inc., started this event five years ago in Atlanta. He knows firsthand that one weekend can spark change."With crime and violence escalating – with our communities under siege and under attack, our best march at this moment is not against law enforcement but it's with law enforcement," said Dr. Rev. Hutchins. "And that's what faith-based communities are positioned to do." (CBN) Read more here.

Words: Ludie Pickett
Music: Fred Jackey
Scripture: I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:20
Lyrics:
I’ve seen the lightning flashing,
I’ve heard the thunder roll.
I’ve felt sin’s breakers dashing,
Which almost conquered my soul.
I’ve heard the voice of my Savior,
Bidding me still to fight on.
He promised never to leave me,
Never to leave me alone!
Refrain
No, never alone, no never alone,
He promised never to leave me,
He’ll claim me for His own;
No, never alone, no never alone.
He promised never to leave me,
Never to leave me alone.
Refrain
The world’s fierce winds are blowing,
Temptation sharp and keen.
I have a peace in knowing
My Savior stands between—
He stands to shield me from danger
When my friends are all gone.
He promised never to leave me,
Never to leave me alone!
Refrain
When in affliction’s valley
I tread the road of care,
My Savior helps me carry
The cross so heavy to bear;
Though all around me is darkness,
Earthly joys all flown;
My Savior whispers His promise,
Never to leave me alone!
Refrain
He died on Calvary’s mountain,
For me they piercèd His side.
For me He opened that fountain,
The crimson, cleansing tide.
For me He waiteth in glory,
Seated upon His throne.
He promised never to leave me,
Never to leave me alone!
Refrain
