Trump to travel to New York City Monday before Tuesday arraignment, return to Florida hours later

Former President Trump is expected to travel from Florida to New York next week, as he faces an indictment for his alleged 2016 hush money scandal.
The former president plans to depart Mar-a-Lago for New York City Monday and will stay at Trump Tower that night.
Trump's courthouse appearance is expected to happen early Tuesday morning. Previous reports said that he is expected to be arraigned at 2:15 p.m.
before Judge Juan Merchan. The Secret Service will ensure that Trump is safely brought in. The Secret Service is working with the New York Police Department,
FBI, New York State court officers and the Manhattan District Attorney's Office to finalize the security and logistics of Trump's arraignment and booking.
The former president will return directly to Mar-a-Lago after the arraignment. A source told Fox News Digital that Trump will not be arrested in handcuffs, having made an arrangement with the DA's office.
The office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has been investigating the alleged hush money scandal for five years. The purported payments include the $130,000 sum given to Stormy Daniels, plus the $150,000 given to former Playboy model Karen McDougal. Hush money is not illegal, but prosecutors are expected to argue that the payments were improper donations to the Trump campaign, as they helped his candidacy.
Trump has slammed the indictment, calling it a witch-hunt.

Train Hauling Ethanol Derails And Burns; Minnesota City Evacuates

Residents of a Minnesota city were ordered to leave their homes overnight when a train carrying ethanol derailed and caught fire.
About 22 cars of the BNSF train derailed at around 1 a.m. CDT on the western edge of Raymond, which is about 95 miles west of Minneapolis, according to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office. Four of the cars caught fire, a BNSF spokesperson said.
“The main track is blocked and an estimated time for reopening the line is not available,” according to the statement from BNSF spokesperson Lena Kent. “The cause of the incident is under investigation.”
Residents living within a half-mile were told to evacuate when the train caught fire. Some cars were hauling a form of ethanol and others were carrying a corn syrup liquid, the Sheriff's Office said.
About 150 people spent the rest of the night at a shelter in the nearby town of Prinsburg, according to WCCO.
Fire departments from Raymond and several other communities responded to the scene. Firefighters, paramedics and law enforcement assisted in evacuating the city, which has a population of about 800 people. No injuries or deaths were reported. (Read more)

Russia adopts new global strategy calling West an ‘existential threat,' warns of 'hybrid war'
|

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin on Friday signed off on a new foreign policy strategy aimed at curtailing the West’s “dominance” – deeming it an “existential threat” – and identifying China and India as key partners for the future.
The new document cements the deep Cold War-style rupture between Russia and the West over Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine. “The Russian Federation intends to give priority to the elimination of vestiges of the dominance of the United States and other unfriendly countries in world politics,” it said.
Russian officials have used the term “unfriendly countries” to refer to those in Europe and North America, who have condemned and sanctioned Moscow over what it calls its “special military campaign” in Ukraine.
The 42-page document, published on the Kremlin’s website, said Russia would aim to “create the conditions for any state to reject neo-colonialist and hegemonic aims.”
Announcing the updated foreign policy at a security council meeting, Putin said “radical changes” in the world made it necessary that Russia changed its strategy on the world stage. Moscow has become increasingly isolated in the global arena and has sought to boost political and economic ties with countries in Africa and Asia such as China and India that have taken a more neutral stance toward its war in Ukraine.
Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said the new foreign policy identifies the West as posing an “existential threat” to Moscow’s “security and development… driven by the actions of unfriendly states.”

1. Foreign aircraft enters northern Israel from Syria, intercepted by IDF - Jerusalem Post
A foreign aircraft was intercepted by the Israeli military on Sunday evening after invading Israeli airspace from Syria, the IDF said on Sunday night.
IDF helicopters and fighter jets shot down the aircraft, which was being tracked by the Israeli Air Force before being gunned down.
Israeli media reported that the craft was shot down in an empty area and that no warnings were activated as per policy, as the situation did not pose a danger at any stage. (Read more)

2. Government made ‘mistake of their lives’: Hundreds of thousands protest overhaul - Times of Israel
Hundreds of thousands of people demonstrated throughout the country Saturday against the government’s judicial overhaul plans, indicating that the massive protest movement remained strong even as the coalition has paused the legislation to allow dialogue on its highly divisive efforts to weaken the justice system.
With opponents of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu highly distrustful of his overtures — and some coalition members vowing to soon pick up right where they left off — protesters are demanding that instead of pausing the legislation to weaken the courts and politicize judge selection, the coalition shelve the bills completely.
Media reports indicated at least 170,000 and up to some 200,000 people demonstrated in Tel Aviv, while tens of thousands more rallied in numerous cities across the country. Protest organizers claimed over 400,000 demonstrated nationwide, though such figures could not be corroborated. (Read more)

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at the weekly Cabinet meeting Sunday that he is optimistic on the possibility of reaching an agreement on the government's planned judicial reforms.
"We are currently in the process of negotiations with the aim of reaching a broad agreement. I would like to remind you that before the elections, many of the leaders of the current opposition supported fundamental changes in the judicial system. Therefore, there is a basis for agreements that can be reached with good will and genuine negotiations," Netanyahu said at the beginning of the Cabinet meeting.
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant entered the cabinet meeting late after Netanyahu made his statement and the media left meeting room. Last week. Netanyahu announced that he would fire Gallant from his position, but he has yet to send an official letter of dismissal. (Read more)

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a warning to the enemies of the Jewish state at the start of Sunday’s weekly Cabinet meeting in Jerusalem amid ongoing demonstrations over his government’s judicial reform plan.
“We are exacting a high price from the regimes that support terrorism, beyond Israel’s borders. I suggest that our enemies not err. Israel’s internal debate will not detract one iota from our determination, strength and ability to act against our enemies on all fronts, wherever and whenever necessary,” Netanyahu said.
The remarks come after three missile strikesagainst Iranian targets in Syria over a four-day period attributed to Israel, including early Sunday in Homs Province. Iranian media reported that Friday’s attack near Damascus killed an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps member and it was reported on Sunday that another IRGC member died from wounds sustained during Friday’s strike. 5. Arab-Israeli Man Shot Dead after Snatching Police Gun Outside Jerusalem’s Temple Mount - Algemeiner
i24 News – An Arab Israeli man was shot dead by Israeli security forces at a checkpoint in Jerusalem early on Friday, after snatching an Israeli guard’s gun and managing to fire out two shots.
No Israeli police were hurt in the incident, which unfolded outside the flashpoint Temple Mount site.
Some local media reported that the man, identified as a 26-year-old Muhammad El-Asibi, a medical student from southern Israel, intended to perpetrate a terrorist attack. Others said his outburst came in response to a rough treatment of a veiled Palestinian woman by Israeli guards, and it cannot be determined whether he intended to carry out an armed assault. Israeli police say there wasn’t a woman involved.
Contesting the official version of events, El-Asibi’s family said that he “was no terrorist” and the incident should be thoroughly investigated. They demanded that Israel provide security camera footage of the incident.
Following the incident, Israeli forces closed the entrance gates to the Temple Mount. This comes amid the holy Muslim month of Ramadan, typically a time of violent riots instigated by Palestinian worshippers. (Read more)

1. Court Officially Confirms Details for First Hearing in Trump Criminal Case - Epoch Times
Former President Donald Trump’s first hearing will take place on April 4, a court spokesperson confirmed on Friday. Trump is set to appear at 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday before New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan, the spokesperson told The Epoch Times via email. The hearing will be open to members of the public and the press on a first come, first serve basis, the spokesperson said. The hearing will not be livestreamed.
The courthouse is located in lower Manhattan.
Trump has been indicted by a grand jury for reasons that are under seal. Trump is the first former president to face criminal charges in the history of the United States.
A spokesperson for the office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, a Democrat, said in a statement that it is now coordinating with Trump’s attorneys his “surrender to the Manhattan D.A.’s Office for arraignment on a Supreme Court indictment.” Bragg had been probing a payment by former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen to adult performer Stormy Daniels, who has alleged Trump had an affair with her. Trump has denied the claim. Cohen has said he spoke to the grand jury.
Merchan on Thursday signed an order authorizing Bragg to disclose the indictment’s existence, in part because the indictment “would be in the public interest” and such an order is “an appropriate exercise of this Court’s discretion,” the judge said. (Read more)

2. Wall Street Journal reporter imprisoned in Russia hailed by colleagues for charisma, courage - Fox News
Russia’s arrest of Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich has rallied people around the world to his cause, and a close friend said it's indicative of his character that he's inspired such a response.
Pjotr Sauer, a reporter at The Guardian who met Gershkovich when they worked together at the independent Moscow Times, said they became fast friends from his first day on the job. He described Gershkovich as a person of unusual generosity and charisma, as well as an "old-school reporter" committed to professionalism.
"I met him in my first day at work at the Moscow Times," Sauer told Fox News Digital. "He greeted me with an infectious smile, and I was a rookie in journalism… Evan took me under his wing and was so generous with his time."
"It's harder to find a better guy than Evan," he said. "You can really see that in the responses we've seen right now."
He was arrested by Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) Thursday while reporting in Yekaterinburg, which is roughly 800 miles east of Moscow, and detained on espionage charges. The FSB is considered the successor to the Soviet’s notorious KGB. Russian state news agency TASS has reported that Gershkovich was ordered to be held in custody until May 29. 3. Elon Musk Sounds Alarm About US Dollar: ‘Serious Issue’ - Epoch Times
Telsa and Twitter owner Elon Musk this week sounded the alarm about the primacy of the U.S. dollar as the world’s reserve currency following a deal between the Chinese regime and Brazil to trade in their own currencies.
“The US dollar is losing its reserve currency status,” Genevieve Roch-Decter, a former small-cap money manager, wrote on Twitter this week, adding that the dollar has been “the backbone of the global economy for decades. Human beings are not ready for a powerful AI under present conditions or even in the “foreseeable future,” stated a foremost expert in the field, adding that the recent open letter calling for a six-month moratorium on developing advanced artificial intelligence is “understating the seriousness of the situation.”

A federal judge in Tennessee temporarily blocked a law that would have restricted drag performances in front of children from going into effect.
The restraining order was issued Friday, with the judge saying the legislation was likely "vague and overly-broad" in its restriction of speech. The bill would have otherwise gone into effect on Saturday.
Tennessee Republican Governor Bill Lee signed the bill in February after it passed through the state's legislature. The measure was designed to restrict drag performances in public or in front of children, as conservatives across the country argue that the shows are inappropriate for younger audiences.
Lee previously said the law would protect children from potentially being exposed to "sexualized entertainment" or "obscenity." (Read more)

6. Political Campaign Worker Indicted for Allegedly Offering Voters Bribes - Epoch Times
Three political campaign workers from New Jersey have been indicted on charges related to a scheme regarding mail-in ballots.
The Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone announced Thursday that the charges stem from a scheme where one of the campaign workers for a Perth Amboy City Council candidate offered $20 supermarket gift cards to voters in return for letting her complete their mail-in ballots.
The grand jury returned a seven-count indictment, charging Ana Camilo, Annet Sanchez, and Maria Peralta, all from Perth Amboy, with various offenses related to their involvement in offering gift cards to voters in exchange for completed mail-in ballots in favor of their preferred candidate.
Ciccone reminded the public that the charges against Camilo are merely accusations, and she is presumed innocent until proven guilty, like all criminal defendants. (Read more)

7. Senior CCP Officials Rely on Organs From Prisoners of Conscience to Extend Their Lives: Rep. Smith - Epoch Times
Rep. Chris Smith (R-N.J.) said that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) forcibly harvests organs from prisoners of conscience, including Falun Gong practitioners, while still alive, because of their excellent health, and transplants them into elderly CCP officials to extend their lives.
The Stop Forced Organ Harvesting Act of 2023 (H.R. 1154), drafted by Smith, is currently being before the U.S. Senate for consideration. The bill was overwhelmingly passed in the House of Representatives on March 27 and aims to hold CCP officials accountable and impose civil or criminal penalties on those who are found to be guilty. This is the first concrete legislative effort by the United States to combat the CCP’s appalling practice of organ harvesting.
In a press release on the day the bill passed, Smith stated that the bill is intended to combat the CCP’s “ghoulish industry of stealing organs from young people,” especially Falun Gong practitioners, “whose peaceful meditation and exercise practices—and exceptional good health—make their organs highly desirable.”
“We also know though open-source Chinese language media that elderly high ranking Chinese Communist Party officials have received replacement organs from the very people they despise and oppress at the People’s Liberation Army Hospital 301 in Beijing,” the statement read. (Read more)

8. One dead, dozens injured in theatre roof collapse in Illinois - Fox News
The Apollo Theatre in Belvidere, Illinois, reportedly suffered a marquee and a partial roof collapse Friday night during a tornado.
The collapse left at least one person dead, dozens of others injured and debris scattered on nearby cars and street after the incident.
More than 20 ambulances were called to the scene, according to Fox 32.
People were seen removing the debris off the floor in search of anyone trapped underneath. Emergency responders took people out of the building on stretchers and loaded them into ambulances.
Illinois Democrat Gov. J.B. Pritzker said his administration is closely monitoring the roof collapse. "I’ve been in touch with officials for updates and to direct any available resources we can," he wrote on Twitter. "As we learn more, please follow the guidance of all local authorities."
The collapse was reported amid severe storms with 90 mph winds. (Read More)

In wake of the news that a New York Grand Jury handed down an indictment of President Trump, there is a lot of political maneuvering. Republicans say that the indictment is no less than election interference against Joe Biden’s most serious opponent. It does appear to be a communist-style move to politically assassinate a political opponent. Having sat on a grand jury for a year, there is more to it than Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg snapping his fingers and getting an indictment. The grand jury heard witnesses for the prosecution, not the defense, and were able to question the witnesses. In the end, the grand jury voted on whether there was enough evidence to get a conviction. A lot of people were involved.
Politics can take many forms. Certainly, Bragg was supported by the Democratic Party mob that has been trying to end Trump’s career since before it started. And be sure to remember that so far every accusation that has been brought against Trump was proven false or was railroaded through the kangaroo court of Democratic Party controlled impeachment trials. In fact, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama used the government courts to get spy warrants on Trump’s campaign and Clinton and the Democratic National Committee actually paid for the false dossier that was used to get the warrant. All of it was supposed to prove that Trump was in collusion with Russia—which in reality, it was Clinton that was benefiting millions in influence peddling with Russia when she was Secretary of State. No indictment. No Conviction.
Same is holding true for Biden and his son Hunter. No doubt there have been illegal business dealings that enriched the Biden family using Joe’s various positions as Vice President and now President. The mainstream news media refuses to report such evidence, while they are all over the Trump indictment like flies on you know what. Trump’s response is classic: “Never before in our Nation’s history has this been done. The Democrats have cheated countless times over the decades, including spying on my campaign, but weaponizing our justice system to punish a political opponent, who just so happens to be a President of the United States and by far the leading Republican candidate for President, has never happened before. Ever. Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, who was hand-picked and funded by George Soros, is a disgrace.”
In politics, you can count on one thing: When an opponent accuses you of something, it’s likely that that very opponent is doing exactly what he accuses you of doing. They are indicting Trump on 30 counts of business fraud, according to an anonymous source reported by CNN. Here again, a grand jury indictment is secret and someone has apparently leaked this information to CNN, afterwards the judge says its OK to share the indictment. Sounds like a media play.I am reminded of 1 Peter 5:8 that says, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” Donald Trump has seen this many times. Obviously, the Democratic Party, behaving like banana republic communists, will stop at nothing to gain complete control. This is a nuclear option that should be a warning to us all.

Missouri Reps Just Voted to Completely Defund the State’s Public Libraries

Late Tuesday night, the Missouri House of Representatives voted for a state operating budget with a $0 line for public libraries. While the budget still needs to work its way through the Senate and the governor’s office, state funding for public libraries is very much on the chopping block in Missouri.
This comes after Republican House Budget Chairman Cody Smith proposed a $4.5 million cut to public libraries’ state aid last week in the initial House Budget Committee hearing, where Smith cited a lawsuit filed against Missouri by the American Civil Liberties Union of Missouri (ACLU-MO) as the reason for the cut.
ACLU-MO filed the suit on behalf of the Missouri Association of School Librarians and the Missouri Library Association (MLA) in an effort to overturn a state law passed in 2022 that bans sexually explicit material from schools. Since it was first enacted in August, librarians and other educators have faced misdemeanor charges punishable by up to a year in jail or a $2,000 fine for giving students access to books the state has deemed sexually explicit. The Missouri law defined explicit sexual material as images “showing human masturbation, deviate sexual intercourse,” “sexual intercourse, direct physical stimulation of genitals, sadomasochistic abuse,” or showing human genitals. Celebrating Evil - SatanCon Sells Out With Largest Satanic Gathering In US

Should we be surprised? As our society comes apart at the seams all around us, Satan and Satanism are becoming extremely popular.
Videos featuring Satan are getting millions of views on TikTok and YouTube, millions of Americans are watching shows that feature Satan as a main character on Netflix and other streaming services, and the Satanic Temple has become one of the fastest growing religious organizations that the United States has ever seen.
As you will see below, traditional American values are declining at a very rapid pace, and it was inevitable that something would fill that void. In fact, it turns out that Satanism's "values" correspond almost perfectly with the "values" that much of the population has already embraced in this day and age.
Once upon a time, most Americans were repulsed by anything that had to do with Satan.
But now Satan is eagerly welcomed into homes and hearts all over the nation. Today, Satan has become one of the hottest spiritual figures in America, and that is unlikely to change any time soon.
The following comes from a Newsweek article entitled "Satan is Getting Hot as Hell in American Pop Culture"...
The Devil is front and center in movies, TV shows, podcasts and even children's books. There are Satan After School Clubs, while the proliferating Satanist groups have their own political divisions.
There's The Exorcist Files, in which Father Carlos Martins recreates exorcisms, and the podcast routinely tops the list of the most popular in the "spirituality" categories. On Netflix alone there are dozens of titles dealing with hellish demons, including Warrior Nun, Devil in Ohio, The Bastard Son & the Devil Himself and Lucifer, in which the ruler of Hell runs a piano bar in California. Comedy is also fair game, thus Ted Danson plays a torturous demon who is prone to mistakes in the Netflix series, The Good Place.
On top of everything else, a major convention is coming up. It is being billed as "the largest satanic gathering in history", and it is being held in Boston at the end of April...
This year's event is taking place in Boston, Massachusetts, from April 28-30, 2023, and is titled "Hexennacht in Boston" -- otherwise known as "Witches Night." On the announcement page, the Satanic Temple (TST) laments Boston Mayor Michelle Wu "for her unconstitutional efforts to keep TST out of Boston's public spaces" and announces that the event will be dedicated to her.
In return, purchasers are promised a "weekend of blasphemy and remembrance." In the old days, maybe a few fringe weirdos would get together for something like that.
But this year's "SatanCon" was completely sold out six weeks in advance.

There has always been evil in our society, but today vast multitudes of people are openly celebrating it. For those that wish to revel in the evil that they are doing, Satanism is perfect for them.

CBDC alternative ‘FedNow’ to launch in July, says Federal Reserve

Service allows Federal government to manage transactions in background

The Federal Reserve Wednesday announced that its FedNow Service, described as an alternative to a central bank digital currency (CBDC), will launch in July.
FedNow is an instant payments platform in which the Federal Reserve facilitates transactions between financial institutions, companies and individuals. The transaction flow will be the same as it is now, but instead of the transaction going through a clearing house, it will go through the US government.
For example, if John Doe wishes to pay a bill, he would initiate the transaction as he normally would through an end-user platform. John’s bank would then send the request to the Federal Reserve, which would notify the recipient’s bank that funds are about to be transferred and would give the go-ahead to John’s bank to release the funds. The Federal Reserve would then take the funds from John’s bank and deposit them in the recipient’s bank. This would all happen in the span of six seconds.
John would be none the wiser that the US government had not only just seen his transaction but had conducted it from beginning to end.
... The benefit of FedNow, according to the Federal Reserve, is that funds can be transferred and settled in accounts not only instantly, but any point during the day or night. Currently, transaction settlement time — when the funds actually hit the recipient’s account — can take up to three days.
It is unclear what ramifications FedNow might have, given that the federal government would now have records of a private citizen’s transactions. For example, whereas the Biden administration now requires any transaction over $600 using payment apps to be reported to the IRS, the IRS may likely already have a record of the transaction.(Frontline News) Read more here.

New Program Office Leads NASA’s Path Forward for Moon, Mars

NASA has established the new Moon to Mars Program Office at NASA Headquarters in Washington to carry out the agency’s human exploration activities at the Moon and Mars for the benefit of humanity. Amit Kshatriya will serve as the agency’s first head of the office, effective immediately.
This new office resides within the Exploration Systems Development Mission Directorate, reporting to its Associate Administrator Jim Free.
“The Moon to Mars Program Office will help prepare NASA to carry out our bold missions to the Moon and land the first humans on Mars,” said NASA Administrator Bill Nelson. “The golden age of exploration is happening right now, and this new office will help ensure that NASA successfully establishes a long-term lunar presence needed to prepare for humanity’s next giant leap to the Red Planet.” Read More

Former President Donald Trump’s political action committee has announced that, in the 24 hours since the former president got indicted by a New York grand jury, his 2024 presidential campaign has raised over $4 million. This outpouring of donations is, according to Make America Great Again Inc., Trump’s political action committee, a grassroots reaction by ordinary Americans outraged by the probe into the former president, which it described as a “witch hunt.”
The PAC said in a statement Friday that since a grand jury empaneled by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg voted on Thursday to indict the former president, his campaign has seen donations soar. “This incredible surge of grassroots contributions confirms that the American people see the indictment of President Trump as a disgraceful weaponization of our justice system by a Soros-funded prosecutor,” the statement said, noting that over 25 percent came from first-time donors.
Trump’s campaign called Bragg’s investigation of the former president an “unprecedented political persecution” and “blatant interference” in the 2024 presidential election, with Trump being the leading Republican candidate. The PAC pointed out that the former president’s campaign is largely being funded by smaller contributions and that this shows that the support he enjoys comes from ordinary Americans not special interest groups. Grim Milestone: Political Prisoner Jake Lang Has Now Been Held in Prison for 800 Days Without a Trial

Jake Lang attended the January 6, 2021 protest and rally in Washington DC because he believed the election was stolen from Donald Trump. Jake was one in a million Trump supporters who turned out that day to hear President Trump speak at the Ellipse in Washington DC. Later that day Jake walked to the US Capitol where he was gassed and trampled when Capitol Police pushed Trump supporters down the stairs. Jake was nearly killed. The woman next to him was gassed, kncked down, trampled and then beaten with a stick by police. She died on the steps of the US Capitol. Her name is Rosanne Boyland.
Jake Lang was next to Rosanne when she died. Being a former wrestler, Jake was able to crawl out of the pile. He then went back and saved Phillip Anderson who was knocked unconscious next to Rosanne Boyland. Jake was not able to rescue Rosanne but he saved the life of another man that day.
Jake was arrested by the DOJ on January 16, 2021. Jake took swipes at police after they killed Rosanne and nearly killed him. Since his arrest, Jake Lang has been held in prison without trial. Jake is a political prisoner of the regime. This is the reality in America today.
