TODAY'S TOP STORY
Where Things Stand With John Durham’s Probe
In stark contrast to the Mueller probe, there’s been a dearth of leaks from Durham’s team.

As far as the reports go, Durham has enlisted assistance of the governments of the United Kingdom, Italy, and Australia. He’s interviewed dozens of individuals, including former CIA Director John Brennan, and subpoenaed thousands of documents.

His first indictment, in August 2020, targeted former FBI attorney Kevin Clinesmith for altering a CIA email to say that former Trump campaign aide Carter Page was “not a source,” when in fact he was providing information to the agency. The message was then used as a part of an application to extend surveillance of Page. FBI Director Christopher Wray later admitted that the surveillance was illegal.

Clinesmith pleaded guilty and in January 2021 received a year of probation and 400 hours of community service. Prosecutors demanded six months in jail. His license to practice law in D.C. was reinstated after less than a year.

In September 2021, Durham indicted Michael Sussmann, a lawyer who in 2016 represented the Clinton campaign, for lying to the FBI. Sussmann approached then-FBI General Counsel James Baker in October 2016 with information about a supposed secret communications channel between Trump and a Russian bank, which, it turned out, was false. Sussmann allegedly told Barker he wasn’t there representing any client, when in fact he was billing the time to the Clinton campaign. Sussmann’s lawyers attacked the indictment for relying on a single witness, Baker, but then Durham revealed an email from Sussmann to Baker explicitly saying Sussmann was reaching out not representing any client.

In November 2021, Durham indicted Igor Danchenko, a Russia analyst formerly with the Brookings Institution, for lying to the FBI. Danchenko was paid to collect dirt on Trump by former British spy Christopher Steele, who was in turn hired (through intermediaries) to collect dirt on Trump by the Clinton campaign.

As it turned out, much of the resulting “Steele dossier” was fabricated. Danchenko told the FBI some of the information came from Belarus-born real estate agent Sergei Millian, which was false, Durham’s indictment said. In fact, Millian never spoke with Danchenko. (Epoch Times) Read more.

- Father God, we are a people who are quite disgusted with such iniquities and falsehoods, whether in ourselves or our government.  Nevertheless, we see it repeatedly in this case and all that has happened against President Trump.  We ask You to pour out Your unshakeable and powerful Holiness against it in such a way as to cause repentance, justice and recompense in every single strand of this web of corruption.  May the dominoes fall suddenly and soon, in Jesus name.

- "'Therefore listen to me, you men of understanding:  Far be it from God to do wickedness, And from the Almighty to commit iniquity.  For He repays man according to his work, And makes man to find a reward according to his way.'"  (Job 34:10-11)
FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Death threat made against Prime Minister Bennett’s family, security increased - World Israel News

Prime Minister of Israel Naftali Bennett received a death threat in the mail leveled at both himself and his family. The threat came with a bullet.

The threat brought both condemnations and warnings from Israel’s leadership against allowing political disputes to lead to acts of violence.

As a result of the threat, security officials in the Prime Minister’s Office have reinforced the security unit responsible for protecting Prime Minister Bennett and his family.

Bennett issued a statement on the threat saying, “Political conflict, no matter how deep it is, should not reach violence, bullying and death threats,” and that Israel, “must lower the flames of political discourse.” (Read more)

2. With coalition in crisis, Bennett, Gantz, Lapid nix travel plans - Israel National News

The Israeli government’s top leaders have shelved all travel plans amid the ongoing coalition crisis, and are expected to remain at home to help maintain unity within the government and prevent further defections, Israel Hayom reported Tuesday.

The report cited a senior official who said Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, Foreign Minister Yair Lapid, and Defense Minister Benny Gantz will remain in Israel to shepherd the government through its current crisis.

“They don’t want to be abroad for any period of time when the situation is this sensitive,” the official was quoted as saying. (Read more)

3. Israel attending US-led summit on sending more arms to Ukraine - Times of Israel

Israel is reportedly among 40 countries attending a meeting of Western countries to discuss supplying more weaponry to Ukraine to help it fend off Russia’s invasion of the country.

Israel’s apparent attendance at the meeting Tuesday, hosted by the US at Ramstein Air Base in Germany, reflects an ongoing shift as Jerusalem appears to discard its policy of only supplying humanitarian aid to the embattled country in order to keep ties with Moscow intact.

The meeting, held at the invitation of the United States, is “focused on doing things to generate additional capability and capacity for the Ukrainian forces,” according to US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. (Read more)

4. Israel begins vaccination drive in Polio outbreak - YNET

Two months after initial reports of the Polio outbreak in Israel, the Health Ministry said it will begin a widespread vaccination drive for children.

Vaccines will be administered to children from ages 3 months to 17-years-old, with a focus on the age group who had not received the the inoculation by drops between the years 2005 and 2013, when the Polio vaccine was excluded from the Health Ministry's inoculation list.

Thus far, eight children were diagnosed with Polio, seven of whom were not vaccinated.
"It is not a reason to panic, it is a reason to get vaccinated. Like in any case of danger of disease spread," said Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz.

5. European parliament members condemn Palestinian Authority for anti-Semitic curriculum - JNS

(April 26, 2022 / JNS) Despite Western calls for reform, the Palestinian Authority curriculum has ramped up its incitement in recent years, with school textbooks and other learning materials filled with anti-Semitism, calls for jihad, rejection of reconciliation and the delegitimization of Israel. So problematic is the content that, according to reports, it has led the European Union to freeze its funding to the P.A.

In fact, passing up an opportunity to explain the P.A.’s position, Palestinian Education Minister Marwan Awartani pulled out of a debate about the curriculum before the European Parliament’s Committee on Budgetary Control on April 20.

Marcus Sheff, CEO of the Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in School Education (IMPACT-se), a Jerusalem-based nonprofit that monitors educational materials around the world for extremist content, spoke at the Committee on Budgetary Control debate focusing on the P.A.’s new “study cards,” released in August. (Read more)

1. Americans sign petition to REPEAL the First Amendment - DML News

Some Americans are willing to sign away their First Amendment rights, according to a video produced by conservative YouTuber Mike Dice. As the Tesla CEO Elon Musk officially purchased Twitter, free speech and the First Amendment has become a hot button topic once again.

Online conservative personalities and even Republican lawmakers have been sounding the alarm on social media censorship for years. The billionaire CEO declared that the reason behind the over $40 billion purchase of Twitter is to protect free speech online.
While many conservatives are celebrating the deal, others are expressing disdain and even threatening to leave the platform for good.

Musk tweeted that he hopes his “worst critics” will remain on the platform “because that is what free speech means.”
The current buzz over free speech drove Dice to share a parody video he produced last year, in which he asked random Americans in California if they would be willing to sign a petition to repeal the First Amendment. (Read more)

- Abba, we pray for You to open up minds and hearts of people to understand what an incredible gift we have to be American citizens.  We call for our Godly roots and foundation to be re-established and secured, in Jesus name.

- "Hear this, you elders, And give ear, all you inhabitants of the land!  Has anything like this happened in your days, Or even in the days of your fathers?"  (Joel 1:2)

2. Psaki responds to Elon Musk buying Twitter, admits White House works with Big Tech to censor speech - DML News

Psaki was asked if the White House is concerned about whether the new agreement might allow President Trump back on the platform. “No matter who owns or runs Twitter, the president has long been concerned about the power of large social media platforms, the power they have over our everyday lives. He’s long argued that tech platforms must be held accountable for the harms they cause,” Psaki declared.

“He’s [Biden] been a strong supporter of fundamental reforms to achieve that goal, including reforms to Section 230, and acting anti-trust reforms requiring more transparency,” she said.

Responding to another question about Musk buying Twitter and how to combat ‘misinformation,’ Psaki admitted, “We engage regularly with all social media platforms about steps that can be taken. That has continued and I’m sure it will continue.” “But there are also reforms that we think Congress could take,” Psaki added. (Read more)

- Father, we pray for God-fear integrity to be spoken from the White House.  Censoring anyone for any reason ought not to be part of the discussion, due to the very clear protections of our First Amendment protections of free speech.

- "Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you."  (Hosea 10:12)

3. Secretive Soros-funded group works behind the scenes with Biden admin on policy, documents show - Fox News

A secretive group backed by millions of dollars from liberal billionaire George Soros is working behind the scenes with President Biden's administration to shape policy, documents reviewed by Fox News show.

Governing for Impact (GFI), the veiled group, boasts in internal memos of implementing more than 20 of its regulatory agenda items as it works to reverse Trump-era deregulations by zeroing in on education, environmental, health care, housing and labor issues.

"Open Society is proud to support Governing for Impact's efforts to protect American workers, consumers, patients, students and the environment through policy reform," Tom Perriello, executive director of Soros' Open Society Foundations, told Fox News Digital.

GFI, however, works to remain secretive. It is invisible to internet search engines like Google (an unrelated "Govern for Impact" is the only group that appears in a search). No news reports or press releases appear on its existence outside of a mention of its related action fund in a previous Fox News article on the $1.6 billion Arabella Advisors-managed dark money network, to which it is attached. (Read more)

- Holy and Righteous King, we call this thing down, by the authority of the name of Jesus.  We bind and rebuke every bit of power this foul organization has been having in the destruction of our nation and we command it to cease and desist!  We loose truth, the light of Christ and the piercing 2-edged sword of the word of God upon our government and this administration, in Jesus name!

- "We are of God.  He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us.  By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error." (1 John 4:6)

4. Judge grants temporary order blocking Biden administration from lifting Title 42 before May 23 - Fox News

A federal judge granted a temporary restraining order on Monday blocking the Biden administration from lifting Title 42, a public health order that allows the federal government to quickly expel migrants, until it officially expires next month.

The Centers for Disease Control announced on April 1 that it would terminate Title 42 on May 23, saying that the order "suspending the right to introduce migrants into the United States is no longer necessary" due to "an increased availability of tools to fight COVID-19."

The lawsuit was originally filed by Missouri, Louisiana, and Arizona in the U.S. District Court in Louisiana. Several other states have since joined the lawsuit.
Border Patrol is already not using Title 42 to expel some migrants from the Northern Triangle countries of Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, instead processing them via Title 8 and expedited removal, Fox News reported last week. (Read more)

- Father, we thank You for our states coming together to protect the health and safety of this nation.  We pray for a powerful strength for border security and that the multitudes pushing against our nation would be returned to their own, where they can contribute to building up their own land.

- "'Look among the nations and watch— Be utterly astounded!  For I will work a work in your days Which you would not believe, though it were told you.'"  (Hab. 1:5)

5. Durham limited in presenting evidence that collusion claims were untrue, judge says - Washington Examiner

A federal judge on Monday slapped limits on special counsel John Durham using the inaccuracy of Trump-Russia collusion claims in his prosecution of Democratic lawyer Michael Sussmann.

Sussmann was indicted last September for allegedly concealing his clients, Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign and Rodney Joffe, from FBI general counsel James Baker in September 2016 after pushing since-debunked claims of a secret back channel between the Trump Organization and Russia’s Alfa-Bank.

Durham says Sussmann similarly concealed his client, Joffe, when he pushed further Trump-Russia collusion claims to the CIA in February 2017.

Judge Christopher Cooper, an Obama appointee, said Durham would not be allowed to present detailed evidence from the CIA demonstrating the falsity of the Alfa-Bank allegations unless Sussmann argued that they were true. (Read more)

- Holy King, John Durham is fighting evil, corruption, deception at every turn.  We ask You to be his strong tower, wisdom and revelation about how to proceed forward for maximum prosecution.  We bind this judge from hindering the presentation of evidence, whether the guilty party agrees to it or not.  This court of law is intended to be a place where evidence and justice occurs, so if necessary, please replace this judge with justice.  Let the light of truth overwhelm this matter, in Jesus name.

- "The Lord is slow to anger and great in power, And will not at all acquit the wicked.  The Lord has His way In the whirlwind and in the storm, And the clouds are the dust of His feet."  (Nahum 1:3)

6. Schumer, Pelosi-affiliated groups funnel millions in anonymous donor cash into midterm elections - Fox News

Dark money groups associated with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi have injected nearly $20 million in hidden donor cash into the midterm elections, federal records show.

The election cash has gone to the Senate Majority and House Majority PACs, which are tied to Schumer and Pelosi. The PACs bankroll Senate and House Democrats, many of whom rail against dark money's political influence.
Majority Forward, a nonprofit that does not identify its donors on tax forms, has poured nearly $15 million into the midterm elections up to the end of March, Federal Election Commission records show.

The Senate Majority PAC took in all of Majority Forward's cash for the midterms, making the nonprofit its largest donor so far this cycle. J.B Poersch, a long-time Schumer ally, is president of both Majority Forward and the PAC. Both groups share office space and personnel.
"Let’s be clear: corporate Republicans are the only ones standing in the way of increasing transparency and making progress on campaign finance reform," a Majority Forward spokesperson told Fox News. (Read more)

- O King, how long will we tolerate such insidious dirty money flowing to overrun our government and honest elections with nepotism and crafty schemes?  We pray for warriors of righteousness to arise with wisdom and strength to defeat all the powers of darkness and turn this nation back to its Godly roots and covenants, in Jesus name.

- "Behold, the Lord God shall come with a strong hand, And His arm shall rule for Him; Behold, His reward is with Him, And His work before Him."  (Isaiah 40:10)

7. The Satanic Temple sues Pennsylvania school over after school club denial - Fox News

The Satanic Temple is suing a Pennsylvania elementary school after its school board voted against the introduction of an After School Satan Club last week. The Satanic Temple filed a lawsuit on constitutional grounds against Northern Elementary School in York, Pennsylvania, according to local ABC outlet KTUL.

Mathew Kezhaya, the general counsel for The Satanic Temple, said the lawsuit intends to litigate whether the Northern York County School Board discriminated against the organization by not allowing them to start an after school club when other organizations are allowed to.

"The First Amendment prohibits a government from considering the popularity of communicative activity when determining whether to facilitate that communicative activity on equal terms with other, similarly situated, groups," he said. (Read more)

- Holy One – we stand absolutely opposed to this evil from the pit.  We call for absolute defeat of this lawsuit in every respect.  May the citizens of this community rally up together in God's love to stand in one accord, providing finances, prayer support and all resources necessary to drive this wicked plan into the ground, in Jesus name and may the body of Christ support them.

- "'Thus says the Lord of hosts:  "If you will walk in My ways, And if you will keep My command, Then you shall also judge My house, And likewise have charge of My courts; I will give you places to walk Among these who stand here."  (Zechariah 3:7)

8. Supreme Court seems to lean in favor of Trump admin in 'Remain in Mexico' dispute - Just The News

The Supreme Court heard oral arguments Tuesday in an immigration case centered on the Biden administration's attempt to end the Trump-era "Remain in Mexico" policy. The justices appeared to lean away from President Biden's attempt to reverse the policy.

Several of the court's Republican-appointed justices said they agreed with attorneys representing Texas, which argued that it is illegal for U.S. immigration officials to allow migrants to enter the country while their claims are being heard. A decision in the case, Biden vs. Texas, will be handed down by the end of June.

Attorneys for the administration argued Tuesday that there is nowhere to hold hundreds of thousands of asylum seekers in detention for months or years as their claims trickle through the courts. (Read more)

- Yes Father, we cry out for justice in this case.  Allow the judges to hear well, judge righteously and establish a lasting precedent on behalf of the sovereignty of this nation.  We ask You to guard and protect each judge in this matter, in Jesus name.

- "And he commanded them, saying, 'Thus you shall act in the fear of the Lord, faithfully and with a loyal heart:'"  (2 Chronicles 19:9)

9. Judge rules against efforts to disqualify Arizona GOP Reps. Biggs, Gosar over 'insurrection' claim - Just The News

An Arizona judge has ruled against efforts to keep two Republican congressmen and a state representative off the November ballot on the argument they committed "insurrection" in connection to the Jan. 6, 2020, Capitol riot.

Superior Court Judge Christopher Coury said in his ruling Friday that because GOP Reps. Paul Gosar and Andy Biggs and state Republican Rep. Mark Finchem are elected officials removing them from the ballot over the 14th Amendment's Disqualification Clause requires congressional action – not a suit brought by private citizens in a state court, according to the Epoch Times.

"The express language of the United States Constitution controls this issue," Coury said.  The ruling could foreshadow the outcome of a similar case against GOP Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene, who on Friday testified in a Georgia court on the issue.
Last month, a federal judge in North Carolina blocked a similar effort to disqualify GOP Rep. Madison Cawthorn. (Read more)

- Father, we pray for complete defeat of these efforts to disqualify Your strong, courageous sons and daughters who are on the frontlines of this battle.  We pray for victory in the camp of the righteous, in Jesus name.  Nothing has established the events of that day as a so-called "insurrection", therefore, we cast down all arguments exalting themselves against truth.

- "and [he] said to the judges, 'Take heed to what you are doing, for you do not judge for man but for the Lord, who is with you in the judgment.'"  (2 Chronicles 19:6)

10. SCOTUS declines to immediately halt high school admissions policy sharply cutting Asian enrollment - Just The News

The Supreme Court won't immediately overturn an appeals court ruling that blocked a trial judge's order halting a famed Virginia high school's diversity-focused admissions policy, which resulted in a steep drop in acceptance for Asian-American applicants.

The unsigned Monday order says Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito and Neil Gorsuch would have granted the "application to vacate the stay" issued by the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

That leaves the policy in place at Virginia's Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, ranked the top public high school in America by U.S. News and World Report. It's under the jurisdiction of the Fairfax County School Board. (Read more)

- Father, this doesn't feel right.  We pray for justice for all students of every ethnicity.  We know some have stronger skills than others, whether it's academic or athletic; artistic or journalistic.  This is part of the beauty of Your creation of tribes and tongues.  May we find an avenue in which honor is given to whom it is due, in Jesus name.

- "It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil."  (Isaiah 10:27)

What We’ve Learned About The Government
And The Pandemic

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, April 26, 2022

Throughout the recent pandemic, the US government has maintained that the vaccine was safe and effective. It also mandated treatments. Any and all alternatives to the government narrative and treatments were considered misinformation or disinformation. Doctors, nurses, scientists and other healthcare workers who dissented from the government narrative were demonized, censored, blackballed and many lost their jobs. Since March 2020, when this pandemic became publicly known to citizens, we have learned a lot about the disease, the vaccine, and the government. Where the government and the vaccine are concerned, it is a fiasco that may have ramifications for generations.

When the vaccine was first introduced, it was billed as the safe and effective way to prevent infection, stop transmission, and avoid hospitalization and death. Then this experimental drug went through many public relations iterations because it did not prevent infection, it did not stop transmission, and its effect on hospitalization and death was variable. As of November 2021, the US Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System reported 19,249 deaths due to the shots. Vaccines usually are stopped if 50 deaths occur. Research indicates that side effects last over 15 months for each shot/booster while efficacy drops to zero after six months. Side effects include blood clots, myocarditis, pericarditis, strokes, heart attacks and neurological damage among other severe issues. These effects are cited in Pfizer documents. Read More

List and Location of Food Plant Fires
Multiple food plant and distribution centers catch fire
FOR YOUR ANALYSIS AND CONSIDERATION:
Seems like potatoes, feed and meat are the main fascination in what's going up in smoke.  The PA, NJ and ME...serve the northeast corridor.  Lots along the Mississippi River and its feeders: Ohio, Tennessee and Missouri river areas.   River Boat Barge transporting maybe?  Two on the TX Mex border.  Two along Columbia River area in Oregon.   Two near Memphis which is key area for distro to all points in the USA.

As food uncertainly lingers on the horizon thanks to US sanctions and government decimation of the economy during the past two years, there is another factor contributing to the problem. Since the beginning of the year, there have been several very large food processing facilities that have exploded or burned to the ground across the U.S.

The fact is that since last year, more than a dozen of these fires and explosions have taken place at food processing and distribution centers.  To be clear, general warehouse fires are quite common. In fact, fire departments respond to more than 1,000 a year. However, the main cause of these fires is arson. What’s more, fires in food processing facilities are not that common and occur far less often.  To claim that all of these incidents are related would be pure speculation. But given the current supply chain situation and looming food shortages, the very idea of critical infrastructure burning to the ground for any reason, is unsettling to say the least.

My report is NOT a call to begin panic buying.  But I am forewarning that shortages in bread and wheat, grains, poultry along with certain vegetables are certain most noticeably in the next three months.  Already shortages are showing up on shelves.  So be aware, be sober and vigilant, and calmly begin arranging to have at least a three month supply of food available.

- Father God, much as we want to blame our enemies for these crises, we must first turn and examine our own hearts before Your Throne of Grace. Lord God, it is our own sin as a nation that has opened the gates wide for the enemy to "rob, steal and destroy" from our people. Holy God, we now repent before Your Throne of Grace for our sins, as we ask that You then deal with our enemies for us. In Jesus' name, amen and amen.

NASA Perseverance rover captures the best video
of a Martian solar eclipse ever
The Mastcam-Z camera system onboard the NASA’s Perseverance Mars rover captured the most zoomed-in and highest frame-rate video of a Phobos solar eclipse ever taken from the Martian surface.

While the next solar eclipse in the United States won't be for another two years, the Perseverance Mars rover, which landed on the surface of the Red Planet in early 2021, recently captured spectacular footage of Phobos, Mars' largest moon, crossing the face of the sun.

This dramatic footage was captured with Perseverance's next-generation Mastcam-Z camera on April 2, the 397th Martian day of the mission. The oblong-shaped Martian moon whizzed past the sun in a mere 40 seconds, which is much faster than a solar eclipse involving Earth's moon. That's because Phobos is about 157 times smaller than Earth's moon. And, Deimos, Mars' smaller moon, is even more minuscule, just 280 times smaller than Earth's moon.

Regardless of the duration, this new imagery will help scientists better understand the moon's orbit and how gravity pulls on the Martian surface. Read More

'We Had This Peace with God': Ukrainian Family with 11 Foster Children Escapes After 42 Days in a Bunker
Anya and her 11 foster children in a bunker in Berdyansk.
LVIV, Ukraine – Imagine spending 42 nights in a basement because the Russians took over your city. That was the case for Anya and her 11 foster children who lived in Berdyansk, a city west of devastated Mariupol. Berdyansk was seized by Russian forces just four days into the war, and the family was forced to stay in a bunker below their house for 42 days. "It was hard to live there and it was dangerous but every day we woke up and we were thankful to God that we were still alive and still able to worship Him," Anya said. Anya says whenever they needed anything or were afraid, they would pray."We were reading the Bible, worshipping and fasting and that's why we had this peace with God," she said.

On this Wednesday night in Lviv, Anya and her children are finally able to laugh again after escaping Berdyansk thanks to help and some brave drivers from Orphan's Promise which has a center in Berdyansk. "It was scary to leave," said Olga Buznitska with Orphan's Promise. "The last checkpoint was the worst. Anya and her children were on a bus that came under fire when the Russian military began firing on the Ukrainian troops.   Everyone on the bus fell to the floor, the children cried and shouted but they all miraculously survived. Now, the Russian troops have closed the city and don't allow anyone out or humanitarian aid in."

Despite all of this, the children, who are mostly teenagers and have never seen war, said they were not afraid when they were in the bunker. "I didn't worry, I was in peace and I was in a safe place," said Sergey, an 18-year-old boy with a big smile. "God was with us and was going to protect us."  Olena, also 18, said she was afraid at first, but then, "I was praying to God, and I had this peace in my heart and all the kids, we united as one family, and that's why I didn't feel this fear." (CBN) Read More
- Abba, we shout HALLELUJAH and PRAISE Your faithfulness in sustaining this family! Thank You for granting them perfect peace in the midst of danger and revealing Your presence to the children. May they be Your witnesses to future generations of Your miraculous rescue and provision. We give You all the GLORY- In Jesus name, Amen.

How Can I Keep From Singing

To listen to this classic hymn, CLICK HERE

Words and Music: Robert Lowry

Scripture: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. Psalm 146:2

Lyrics:
My life flows on in endless song;
Above earth’s lamentation
I hear the sweet though far off hymn
That hails a new creation:
Through all the tumult and the strife
I hear the music ringing;
It finds an echo in my soul—
How can I keep from singing?

What though my joys and comforts die?
The Lord my Savior liveth;
What though the darkness gather round!
Songs in the night He giveth:
No storm can shake my inmost calm
While to that refuge clinging;
Since Christ is Lord of Heav’n and earth,
How can I keep from singing?

I lift mine eyes; the cloud grows thin;
I see the blue above it;
And day by day this pathway smoothes
Since first I learned to love it:
The peace of Christ makes fresh my heart,
A fountain ever springing:
All things are mine since I am His—
How can I keep from singing?
