CDC Director Admits Vaccinated Individuals Can Transmit Covid-19 to Others
|

top U.S. health official acknowledged on April 19 that people who have received a COVID-19 vaccine can transmit the disease to others. Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), made the unsupported claim in 2021 that people who had received a COVID-19 vaccine “do not carry the virus” and “do not get sick.”
“We’ve had an evolution of science and an evolution of the virus,” Walensky told a congressional committee in Washington, adding that the statement “is no longer correct with the Omicron subvariants that we have right now.”The Biden appointee also doubled down on her initial claim.
Just two weeks after Walensky’s initial statement, made during an appearance on MSNBC, the CDC said some 5,800 Americans had contracted COVID-19 despite being vaccinated, with 74 dying. The CDC later stopped counting so-called breakthrough infections as the numbers soared. Data has shown that vaccine protection wanes considerably after several months and starts low against the current Omicron subvariants, with some papers estimating vaccinated people are more likely to become infected over time. The Digital Euro Could Usher in Total State Control

I recently heard one of the most bizarre remarks by European Central Bank (ECB) chief Christine Lagarde that gave me migraines. She said that the eurozone could not go bankrupt, that this is technically impossible because the ECB can provide unlimited liquidity at any time. In plain English, when we run out of money, we print what we need.
I admit I am probably a bit oversensitive. Counterfeiting is the very basis of our financial system, and the fact that the money we have right now is losing more and more purchasing power due to newly printed money need not concern me because I have none anyway.
CBDC stands for “Central Bank Digital Currency.”
PR consultants and journalists prefer to use the term “digital euro,” which is easier to remember and sounds nicer, but the trivialization of the term does not change the fact that behind all of this, total surveillance awaits. (ZeroHedge) Read more

IN-DEPTH: UN Seeks Vast New Powers for Global Emergencies
|
|
The United Nations is seeking vast new powers and stronger “global governance” tools to deal with international emergencies such as pandemics and economic crises, a new U.N. policy brief has revealed, and the Biden administration appears to support the proposal.
The plan to create an “Emergency Platform,” which would involve a set of protocols activated during crises that could affect billions of people, has already drawn strong concern and criticism from U.S. policymakers and analysts.
Among those expressing concern is House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas), whose committee oversees U.S. foreign policy and involvement in international organizations.
“We must be sure that any global protocol or platform operated by the U.N. respects U.S. national sovereignty and U.S. taxpayer dollars,” McCaul told The Epoch Times. He also noted his concern that the proposed platform expands the authority and funding of the U.N. and the definitions of “emergency” and “crisis” to include, for instance, climate change.
U.N. documents and statements released in March by key leaders of the global organization make clear that climate change is a major piece of the U.N. emergencies agenda. Other critics who spoke with The Epoch Times expressed concern about the influence of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) within the U.N., the global organization’s well-documented corruption problems, and its track record of dealing with previous emergencies.
“Allowing the U.N. to deal with this is the equivalent of putting the CCP in charge of global emergencies,” former U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for International Organizations Kevin Moley told The Epoch Times. (Read more)

1. Netanyahu warns Saudi Arabia as kingdom renews ties with Tehran - JNS
(April 20, 2023 / JNS) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned the Saudis about moving closer to Iran, speaking in an interview with CNBC on Wednesday. The Saudis on March 10 announced a renewal of diplomatic ties with the Islamic Republic.
On Monday, Iran invited Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz to visit the country, according to an Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has already accepted an invitation to visit Saudi Arabia.
“Those who partner with Iran, partner with misery. Look at Lebanon. Look at Yemen. Look at Syria. Look at Iraq,” Netanyahu cautioned amid the warming ties between Iran and Saudi Arabia, describing the above countries as near failed states. (Read more)

2. Israel increasing Syria attacks to prevent Iranian weapon deliveries - Gallant - Jerusalem Post
Israel has been increasing attacks in Syria over the past few months to prevent Iranian deliveries of weapons to the country, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said Thursday, Walla reported.
“In the first quarter of 2023, we doubled the number of attacks in Syria,” he was quoted as saying. “We are systematically harming Iranian abilities and assets in the area. We will not allow Iran to set up a Syrian army that will turn the Golan Heights into Lebanon.”
Since the large-scale earthquakes struck Turkey and Syria, Iran has been sending weapons to Syria disguised as humanitarian aid, according to reports. (Read more)

3. Defense Minister: Israel preparing for multifront war - Israel National News
Israel's security establishment has reached the understanding that the nation as at the beginning of a new security era in which it faces the possibility of attacks from multiple arenas at the same time.
"We are facing a new security era in which a real threat is possible from all sectors at the same time," Defense Minister Yoav Gallant explained today (Thursday). "We operated for years under the assumption that limited confrontations could be held, but this is a phenomenon that is disappearing. Today there is a noticeable phenomenon of the coalescence of arenas," he added.
The terrorist organization Hezbollah is believed to receive from Tehran about $700 million a year, as well as the transfer of technological knowledge and strategic intelligence. Hamas receives a smaller funding of about $100 million a year, alongside tens of millions of dollars which is given annually to Islamic Jihad. The pro-Iranian militias in Syria receive Hundreds of millions of dollars, and the Assad regime itself receives billions from the Ayatollahs' regime. (Read more)

4. Cabinet approves $440 million plan to strengthen Sderot’s ‘resilience, security’ - JNS
(April 20, 2023 / JNS) The Israeli Cabinet approved on Thursday the allocation of 1.6 billion shekels ($440 million) to strengthen the southern city of Sderot, adjacent to the Gaza Strip ruled by the Hamas terror group.
During a rare Cabinet meeting convened outside of Jerusalem, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu touted his previous governments’ accomplishments in developing the city and its surroundings, and vowed to do more to support communities constantly targeted by Palestinian rocket fire.
“First of all, we have developed transportation. We opened a train station in Sderot and have linked the area around the Gaza Strip to the center of the country, and the center of the country to the area around the Gaza Strip. 5. Israel will provide Ukraine with Missile Warning System: Report - Algemeiner
Israel will begin testing its civilian alert system that warns of incoming missiles in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv next month, Ukrainian and Israeli media outlets reported on Thursday.
The test of the system, which delivers a red alert warning to residents in areas targeted by missiles, will be conducted by Israel’s Home Front Command, the Israeli news outlet Walla reported.
The system will be connected to Ukraine’s radar monitoring, enabling faster and more accurate alerts to be delivered to mobile phone users, as well as activating air raid sirens only in those areas affected by the ongoing Russian onslaught.
According to Walla, Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen promised the delivery of the alert system within six months during his February visit to Ukraine. In the intervening period, Israeli and Ukrainian military officials have reportedly met several times in Poland to discuss the system’s deployment and the necessary modifications, given the difference in size between the two countries as well as the types of missiles utilized by Russian forces. 5. American Facebook Users Can Now Apply for Their Share of $725 Million Facebook Settlement: Here’s How – The Epoch Times
Facebook users have until August 2023 to claim part of a $725 million class-action settlement of a lawsuit that claimed the company’s parent Meta violated their privacy, according to a new website that went online this week.
“If you were a Facebook user in the United States between May 24, 2007, and December 22, 2022, inclusive, you may be eligible for a cash payment from a Class Action Settlement,” the new website say

7. Rise of EV’s is Driving More Demand for Electricity as Grid Power Generation Declines - NewsTarget

9. House Republicans approve bill to protect girls and women's teams - American Family Network
Men claiming to be women would be barred from competing on girls or women’s sports teams at federally supported schools and colleges under legislation pushed through Thursday by House Republicans checking off another high-profile item on their social agenda. Not a single Democrat supported the effort.
The bill approved by a 219-203 party-line vote is unlikely to advance further because the Democratic-led Senate will not support it and the White House said President Joe Biden would veto it. (Read more)

Democracy Hypocrisy

The simple definition of democracy is majority rule. Nowadays it appears those most ardently demanding democracy are cross-ways of the majority and on the slippery slope of tyranny. A most recent example is the trans craze. One would think that everybody is rushing out to get their children’s sex changed. There are biologically born men competing against women, and quite frankly, beating them like a dusty rug. There are politicians, like Joe Biden, claiming that every child should have the opportunity to change their gender and that no one should stand in their way. There are school boards ignoring parents and, pursuing agenda of sexual predation promoted by the LGBTQ+ crowd. Then came the beer fiasco.
The venerable Budweiser beer brand, long known for its all-American image of Clydesdale horses at Christmas and blue-collar work ethic, went all out trans-woke. Anheuser-Busch, the parent company of Bud Light, hired transgender social media personality Dylan Mulvaney as brand ambassador. Mulvaney is a biological male, claiming to be a woman. Mulvaney announced: “This month I celebrated my day 365 of womanhood and Bud Light sent me possibly the best gift ever—a can with my face on it…Check out my Instagram story to see how you can enjoy March Madness with Bud Light and maybe win some money too. Love ya. Cheers! Go Team! Whatever team you love, I love too!” The announcement came on April Fool’s Day, but Anheuser-Bush soon found out it was no joke and the company was the fool. Read More

Supreme Court extends access to abortion pill to Friday

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court is leaving women’s access to a widely used abortion pill untouched until at least Friday, while the justices consider whether to allow restrictions on the drug mifepristone to take effect.
The court is dealing with a new abortion controversy less than a year after its conservative majority overturned Roe v. Wade and allowed more than a dozen states to effectively ban abortion outright.
At stake now is whether to allow restrictions on mifepristone ordered by a lower court to take effect while a legal challenge to the medication’s Food and Drug Administration approval continues.
The justices had at first given themselves a Wednesday evening deadline in a fast-moving case from Texas in which abortion opponents are seeking to roll back FDA approval of mifepristone, which is used in the most common method of abortion in the United States.
But on Wednesday afternoon, Justice Samuel Alito issued a one-sentence order giving the court more time and indicating it expects to act by Friday night. Alito, the justice in charge of handling emergency appeals from Texas, provided no explanation.
The justices are scheduled to meet for a private conference Friday, where they could talk about the issue. The additional time could be part of an effort to craft an order that has broad support among the justices. Or one or more justices might be writing a separate opinion, and asked for a couple of extra days. (Read more)

Joe Biden Will Launch National Abortion Hotline to Promote Killing Babies in Abortions

The Biden administration last week announced its Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will create a publicly-funded abortion hotline that will cost taxpayers around $1.5 million.
HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra praised his department’s initiative, describing it as “a secure national hotline to provide referral services for women in need of accurate information about their legal reproductive health care options.”
CatholicVote Director of Government Affairs Tom McClusky said the hotline represents “a clear violation of the Hyde amendment, using tax dollars to set up a system to make it easier to kill children.”
The Hyde amendment prevents the federal government from using taxpayer funds to pay for abortions. The amendment, which has been law for over 40 years, was long supported by then-Senator and later Vice-President Joe Biden before he abruptly reversed his position ahead of his 2020 presidential run.

NASA Shares First Moon to Mars Architecture Concept

As NASA builds a blueprint for human exploration throughout the solar system for the benefit of humanity, the agency released Tuesday the outcomes from its first Architecture Concept Review, a robust analysis process designed to align NASA’s Moon to Mars exploration strategy and codify the supporting architecture.
“Our first Architecture Concept Review is a milestone that will help our Moon to Mars strategy unfold through the objectives in missions both near and long term,” said NASA Deputy Administrator Pam Melroy. “We’re aligned with partners toward a future of expanded economic opportunity, scientific discovery, and greater activity on and around the Moon, and with limitless possibilities deeper in the solar system.”
NASA’s Architecture Definition Document written for highly technical audiences, and an associated executive summary, provide a deep dive into NASA’s Moon to Mars architecture approach and development process. Police Avert Another Possible School Massacre by Trans Person

A man who identifies as a woman faces charges for allegedly planning to carry out mass shooting attacks against multiple schools in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the 18th Judicial District Attorney's Office announced this week. The alleged plan comes on the heels of a deadly shooting at The Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee, where six people—including three children—were shot and killed by yet another transgender person. Audrey Hale, the perpetrator, was shot and killed on site after messaging a friend on social media that "I am planning to die today."
The perpetrator of the alleged plan, 19-year-old William Whitworth, was charged late last week after police investigated threats to the schools in the Colorado Springs Academy School District. Police says Whitworth identifies as "Lilly." He has been charged with two counts of criminal attempt to commit murder in the first degree, one count of criminal mischief, one count of menacing and one count of interference with staff, faculty or students of educational institution, The Epoch Times reported. He is being held in jail on $75,000 bond and his preliminary hearing is set for May 5.
Like Hale, Whitworth previously attended schools in the district where he planned to commit the murders. Arrest records say a family member to whom Whitworth allegedly divulged his plan multiple times turned Whitworth in to authorities. He was said to have threated to "shoot up a school," Colorado NBC affiliate KOAA-TV reported. The Epoch Times reported that Whitworth "allegedly told police that he had watched a YouTube video to learn how to create a detonator. A spokesperson for the 18th Judicial District Attorney's Office told The Colorado Springs Gazette that Whitworth was in the process of transitioning to a female. Praise God that this evil, demonic plan was thwarted and no one was hurt.
