‘Teen Takeover’ terrorizes Chicago as hundreds of teenagers destroy property, attack tourists
|
|
Hundreds of teenagers stormed the streets of downtown Chicago, smashing car windows, attacking bystanders and sending panicked tourists running from the sound of gunfire.
"Where are their parents at? That's my question," a woman who identified as a Chicago native told Fox 32 as the unruly scene played out in downtown Chicago on Saturday night.
Fox 32 cameras captured video of teenagers crowding the streets and police seeking to restore order to the area.
Large groups of teens were seen blasting music from Bluetooth speakers and roaming in front of traffic, with some attempting to gain access to the city's Millennium Park, which is off-limits to those under 21 after certain hours, and the downtown Art Institute.
Some teens in the group began jumping up and down on cars, smashing windows and attacking people inside. One woman told Fox 32 her husband was attacked from the driver side of his vehicle and beaten after a group of teens jumped up and down on the couple's windshield. The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment. (Fox News) Read more

Trump 2024 Bid Picks up Seventh Senator’s Endorsement
|
|
Former President Donald Trump picked up his seventh Senate endorsement on April 13, with Sen. Ted Budd (R-N.C.) backing Trump’s third bid for the White House in 2024.
“Just a few years ago America was strong, but now under Joe Biden, we are a nation in decline,” Budd said in a statement. “Our economy is faltering, our wide-open southern border is tragically wrecking lives, and our country’s power and influence in the world is diminished.”
In contrast, Budd said, the Trump-led America was much different.
“Under President Trump, our economy saw record-setting growth, and families were starting to get ahead. Neighborhoods were safer,” Budd said. “Across the globe, we were achieving peace. We were respected by allies and feared by enemies.
“That’s why I endorse Donald J. Trump for President,” Budd added. “Hardworking, everyday families need a return of the America First agenda to restore prosperity and peace.” (The Epoch Times) Read more.

California considers separating children
from their un-'woke' parents
|

Legislators in California are considering a bill that would allow state officials to separate children from their families without letting the parents know until after the fact.
Government authorities could do this for children who struggle with gender identity problems but whose parents are not being “ affirming ” of their new identification as the opposite sex, or as nonbinary, gender fluid, pansexual, or one of the other made-up genders or sexual orientations.
The bill, AB 665 , “would allow children as young as 12 years old to consent to being placed into state-funded group homes without parental permission or knowledge,” according to an analysis from California Family Council. The legislation gives a government bureaucrat the ability to keep a mother and father out of the equation based on his or her own personal decision.
“The mental health treatment or counseling of a minor authorized by this section shall include involvement of the minor’s parent or guardian unless the professional person who is treating or counseling the minor, after consulting with the minor, determines that the involvement would be inappropriate,” the bill currently states. 1. President urges divided nation to unite on Holocaust Remembrance Day - Israel Hayom
President Isaac Herzog called for national unity at the opening ceremony for Israel's annual Holocaust Remembrance Day on Monday as the nation remained deeply divided over plans by the government to implement a judicial overhaul.
"I appeal to you, citizens of Israel, with a simple prayer: let us leave these sacred days, which begin tonight and end on Independence Day, above all dispute; let us all come together, as always, in partnership, in grief, in remembrance."
The president's office has been engaged in talks between Israeli opposition members to broker a compromise with the governing coalition over planned judicial changes which would see Israel's highest court subject to various restrictions on its ability to conduct judicial review of laws and intervene in the decisions of the other branches of government. 2. Never again means halting nuclear Iran, Netanyahu at Holocaust ceremony - Jerusalem Post
“Never again” means that Israel must ensure that Iran not be allowed to produce nuclear weapons, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at the Holocaust Remembrance Day ceremony in Yad Vashem on Monday evening.
Israel’s enemies such as Iran should not err in thinking that internal division has weakened the country to such an extent that they can annihilate the Jewish people, he emphasized,
“The Jewish people live,” Netanyahu exclaimed.
“New oppressors, may think that we do not have the determination and internal cohesion to stand up to them. They are very wrong. We will defend ourselves, and together we will repel any threat to our existence,” Netanyahu stated. (Read more)

3. ‘Our nations can live in peace,’ son of Iran's Shah says in Israel visit - Jerusalem Post
Israel and Iran can have a prosperous future said Reza Pahlavi — the son of the deposed Iranian Shah —as he and his wife Yakima made their first-ever visit to Israel on Monday night.
“We are very happy to be here and are dedicated to working toward the peaceful [and] prosperous future that the people of our region deserve,” he tweeted on landing in Ben-Gurion Airport where he was greeted by Intelligence Minister Gila Gamliel who had arranged his visit.
“From the children of Cyrus, to the children of Israel, we will build this future together, in friendship,” Pahlavi tweeted. (Read more)

4, .Israel Thwarts Iran-Hezbollah Effort to Recruit PA Arabs for Terror and Espionage - Jewish Press
Israel’s General Security Services (Shin Bet) revealed on Monday that it thwarted an attempt by Hezbollah and Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps to recruit Palestinian Authority Arabs living in Judea and Samaria to carry out acts of terror and espionage.
In recent months, two residents of Judea and Samaria – Yosef Mansour and Marsil Mansour – were arrested for investigation by the Shin Bet. During the course of the Shin Bet’s investigation, it emerged that the Mansours had been recruited into a network overseen by Iranian operatives Huda Mahana and Haj Muhammad Radwan, also known as “Mohammed Bashir.”
The Mansours agreed to smuggle and distribute weapons into Israel and assist criminal elements.
At the request of Mahana and Bashir, Yosef Mansour agreed to gather information for Hezbollah about Israeli military activities in Judea and Samaria and to recruit additional operatives to promote terror activity. Hezbollah transferred funds to Yosef with the assistance of Marsil on several occasions. (Read more)

5. Northern kibbutz targeted by gunshots apparently from West Bank for 2nd time in weeks - Times of Israel
Shots were fired late Monday night at a kibbutz in northern Israel, two weeks after a nearby town was targeted in a similar shooting attack claimed by Palestinian terrorists.
A message from the local regional council sent to residents of Meirav said Monday’s gunfire appeared to have come from the Palestinian village of Jalbun, on the West Bank side of the green line.
The message also said there were no special instructions and that residents could continue with their routines. (Read more)

1. HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra to Oversee Biden Scheme Opening Obamacare to DACA Illegal Aliens
Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra will oversee a scheme by President Joe Biden to open Affordable Care Act, known as Obamacare, and Medicaid rolls to hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens enrolled in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
This week, Biden announced a plan to open Obamacare and Medicaid rolls, both subsidized by American taxpayers, to nearly 600,000 illegal aliens currently enrolled in DACA — the program created by former President Obama, via executive order, that has shielded more than a million illegal aliens from deportation through the years.
Becerra, whom Breitbart News reported has long reviewed opening taxpayer-funded health coverage options to illegal aliens, will oversee the scheme — proposing a federal rule by the end of this month which, if finalized, would make DACA illegal aliens eligible for Obamacare and Medicaid. 2. Buttigieg points to how roads are 'designed and built' as the reason for racial disparities in road fatalities
"Racial disparities" continue to be a focus for Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, according to a recent appearance on MSNBC’s "PoliticsNation" on Saturday.
MSNBC host Al Sharpton sat down with Buttigieg and questioned him about his dedication to addressing inequality regarding road fatalities.
"A lot of people don’t understand, even down to road fatalities, it is not equal," Sharpton said.
"It’s something that deserves more attention, which is why I’m working to bring more attention to it. We have a crisis when it comes to roadway fatalities in America. We lose about 40,000 people every year. It’s a level that is comparable to gun violence. And we see a lot of racial disparities. Black and Brown Americans, tribal citizens and rural restaurants are much more likely to lose their lives whether it’s in a car or as a pedestrian being hit by a car," Buttigieg said. 3. LEAKED DOCS: NATO Ally Hungary Called Biden Admin A ‘Top 3 Adversary’ - (Daily Caller)
Hungary, a member of the NATO alliance alongside the United States, has identified the Biden administration as one of its top three adversaries, according to leaked Pentagon documents obtained by the Daily Caller.
During a Feb. 22 political strategy session, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban identified the United States as one of the top three adversaries to his Fidesz Party, according to intelligence from the U.S. Embassy in Budapest and the CIA referenced in the document. As NATO allies, Hungary and the United States are legally obligated to defend each other from foreign aggression.
The classified documents initially circulated online in March on various social media platforms, after allegedly originating on a private Discord server. They were subsequently scrubbed from social media, before resurfacing in media reports in recent days during which time they were acquired by the Daily Caller.
The document calls Orban’s assessment an “escalation of the level of anti-American rhetoric” coming from Budapest. (Read more)

4. Jim Jordan declares he is '100% for President Trump' in 2024 amid ongoing legal issues - Fox News
Conservative firebrand Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, declared Friday that he is "100% for President Trump" in the 2024 presidential election despite the ongoing legal issues facing the former president.
Speaking with Fox News Digital ahead of his speech to the National Rifle Association convention, Jordan argued Trump was the only president to do what he said he was going to do, and did so successfully despite the entire political establishment standing against him.
"No one has demonstrated that they will do what they said and get things done like he did, and he did it with everyone in that town against him. And that's what I still respect about President Trump, and I'm for him all the way," Jordan said when asked about the increasingly heated Republican presidential primary contest. (Read more)

5. Biden World Bank Nominee: We Shouldn’t See China as a Competitor in Developing World, We Need Everyone on Climate
During an interview aired on Friday’s broadcast of NPR’s “Morning Edition,” Ajay Banga, President Joe Biden’s nominee for World Bank President, argued that the U.S. and World Bank shouldn’t view China as a competitor in the developing world, “we need all shoulders at the wheel, including the private sector, if you’re going to make a difference with a sense of urgency, particularly in climate,” and “All countries” have bilateral aid.
Host Michel Martin asked, [relevant exchange begins around 5:20] “Beijing has itself provided loans to developing countries. That’s been a benefit to many countries, but that’s also a source of concern to other governments who worry about what China expects in return. But China is still seen as a developing country which is eligible for World Bank support. Is China basically competing with the World Bank’s work?”
Banga responded, “I don’t think we should view ourselves as competitors, any of the multilateral banks or countries. All countries have got bilateral aid systems in addition to helping with the multilateral development banking system. And I think we need all shoulders at the wheel, including the private sector, if you’re going to make a difference with a sense of urgency, particularly in climate, where 2030 is seven years away and 2050 — with the Paris Accords — is 27 years away. We don’t have the time to play in silos. If young people have good quality of life, health, education, clean air, clean water — the things you and I take for granted — if they get that and then they also get jobs when they’re eligible for jobs, then young people, their optimism, their future transforms countries.” (Read more)

6. Brennan: Marjorie Taylor Greene ‘Not Fit to Hold Public Office’ - Breitbart
Former CIA Director John Brennan Friday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was “not fit to hold public office” because of comments she made about the Air National Guardsman Jack Teixeira accused of leaking classified information.
Greene tweeted, “Jake Teixeira is white, male, Christian, and antiwar. That makes him an enemy to the Biden regime. And he told the truth about troops being on the ground in Ukraine and a lot more. Ask yourself, who is the real enemy? A young, low-level national guardsmen? Or the administration that is waging war in Ukraine, a non-NATO nation, against nuclear Russia without war powers?”
Host Nicolle Wallace said, “Liz Cheney tweeted this, ‘Marjorie Taylor Greene makes clear yet again she cannot be trusted with America’s national security information and should not have a security clearance of any kind.’ I wanted to know why she does. 7. Republican Jewish Coalition Demands Answers from Hakeem Jeffries for Lying, Defending Antisemitic Uncle - Breitbart
Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) leadership demanded answers on Friday from House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) for lying and defending his antisemitic uncle, Leonard Jeffries, and Nation of Islam Leader Louis Farrakhan.
The RJC leadership — National Chairman, former Sen. Norm Coleman, and CEO Matt Brooks — stated that “Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries owes the Jewish community an explanation as to why he lied and attempted to cover up his defense of these revolting antisemites.”
The two cited a recent CNN story detailing the minority leader’s use of race politics during his time in college, his defense of his uncle and Farrakhan in his college newspaper, and that he even invited his uncle to speak on campus. (Read more)

8. Top Pentagon UFO Official’s New Theory About Aliens Is Sending Shockwaves Through The Scientific Community - Daily Caller
Experts questioned the credibility of the Pentagon’s UFO investigatory office after its head co-authored a paper positing that unidentified objects could be tools for aliens to research Earth, according to Politico.
All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) leader Sean Kirkpatrick and Harvard professor Avi Loeb wrote in a draft article from March 7 that unidentified aerial phenomena could serve as “probes” from a “parent craft” operated by extraterrestrial beings, which was first reported by the Daily Caller. While experts recognize Kirkpatrick as a capable and intelligent scientist, some said Kirkpatrick’s willingness to assign his name to a hypothetical that has little substantive evidence supporting it could undermine AARO’s credibility, according to Politico.
“It’s a fine line because there’s ‘being open to speculative ideas’ like this, but that can be translated into an actual supporting of this possibility, and I think that’s where there needs to be more clarity,” Alejandro Rojas, a board member of the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies, told the outlet. “It does look like [DoD is] supporting some really wild ideas which thus far are felt to be unsubstantiated.” (Read more)

The Democratic Party, America’s socialist party, is pursuing its socialistic tactics by finding ways to use the laws of the nation against its political opposition and unconstitutional unelected government agencies to silence dissent from its destructive agenda. In the months ahead, the Trump trial will suck the air out of the news cycle and Americans will hear little else than debate on the upcoming trial. Meanwhile, the crisis will not go to waste. These tyrannical forces will use the cover of smoke from the Trump trial to advance their agenda. The Trump trial will serve at least three purposes: to discredit and politically assassinate Trump; to interfere with the upcoming elections; and to advance a tyrannical agenda.
Just look at what the White House has done in the weeks leading up to the indictment and arraignment of Trump under the cover of the media. Funding the war in Ukraine without Congressional approval; New government-forced clean energy projects; Pressure to force more gun control; Affirming transgendered children; Proclaiming Transgender Day of Visibility; $7 billion for climate change in Africa; Regional bank regulation changes; Government incentives for Electric Cars; Key appointments to boards and commissions; Advancing offshore wind opportunities; Banning gas stoves; A billion dollars for economic empowerment of women; Handing government land to environmentalists…these are just a few of the nearly 700 web pages of actions by the White House. Washington bill to allow medical transgender interventions on minors without parental consent

Instead of contacting parents, shelters can contact the Washington state government
A Washington State bill that would strip parents' rights to intervene on their kids medical care in certain circumstances passed the House Wednesday, clearing its pathway to being signed by Gov. Jay Inslee.
"An act relating to supporting youth," or Senate Bill 5599, allows host homes for runaway youth "to house youth without parental permission." Furthermore, the host homes do not need to notify parents about where their kids are or if they are getting medical interventions "if there is a compelling reason not to, which includes a youth seeking protected health services."
The "protected health care services" included "gender-affirming care," which for minors arbitrarily included anything prescribed by a doctor to treat dysphoria, the bill said. (Fox News) Read More

The teen years are the time when parents and children should be supported with programs to help them work together through these challenging years. We pray for the body of Christ to stand up in prayer, praise and authority to speak truth into the lives of children, particularly that mutilating their bodies is a treacherous path to take at such a young age. May there be some avenues of recourse, even through the court system Father, where these laws could be stopped until further reviews are taken or even for the citizens to vote on them. Jesus, we pray for Your mighty intervention here.

Twitter CEO Elon Musk raised concerns of bias in artificial intelligence (A.I.), saying leftist programmers can use it to "lie" and "comment on some things but not others."
"What's happening is they're training the A.I. to lie. It's bad," he said in a preview of his interview with "Tucker Carlson Tonight." "A.I. is more dangerous than, say, mismanaged aircraft design or production maintenance or bad car production," he explained. "In the sense that it has the potential, however, small one may regard that probability, but it is non-trivial, it has the potential of civilization destruction."

This is moving beyond the conscience and intelligence of human beings and out of the confines of a technology device, and God, only You know the end of this threat to Your people and the earth. We pray for You, Mighty King, to activate a "fail" switch in AI systems, causing them to collapse irreparably upon themselves. We pray also for Your divine intervention upon robots, dogs, 5G and drones and every other form of self-motivating technology system intended to override humanity, in Jesus name.

Lift off! NASA’s Super Pressure Balloon Takes Flight
from New Zealand

NASA’s Scientific Balloon Program successfully launched its football-stadium-sized, heavy-lift super pressure balloon (SPB) from Wānaka Airport, New Zealand, at 11:42 a.m., Sunday, April 16 (7:42 p.m.. April 15 in U.S. Eastern Time), on a mission planned for 100 or more days.
“Mother Nature shined down beautifully today giving us the perfect conditions for a brilliant launch,” said Debbie Fairbrother, NASA’s Scientific Balloon Program chief. “I’m excited for this mission and the cutting-edge science it will perform.”
The balloon will float at 110,000 feet (33.5 km) with the winds carrying it about the southern hemisphere's mid-latitude band. Read More

VA Gov Youngkin Donates First Quarter Salary to 'Good News' Prison Ministry
|

Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin is donating a portion of his official salary to a faith-based nonprofit prison ministry headquartered in Henrico, Virginia. Youngkin gives away 25% of his salary each quarter to a nonprofit in the Commonwealth. On March 31, while touring Prince William County Adult Detention Center in Manassas, he and his wife Virginia First Lady Suzanne Youngkin, announced their donation of $43,725 to the Good News Jail & Prison Ministry to further support the work of chaplains in jails and prisons. "I pledged to serve without accepting a salary to support Virginians every way I can," Youngkin said.
