White House logs reveal George Soros' son has made at least 14 visits
|
|
George Soros has proven himself instrumental in funding leftist causes over the years, but at the age of 92, the open society he has sought after needs a new champion. The billionaire's 37-year-old son, Alexander Soros, appears keen to carry on his father's legacy of propping up radicals and technocrats alike.
Recently updated White House visitor logs have revealed that Alexander Soros has the ear of prominent officials and staffers inside the Biden administration, having visited the White House at least 14 times since President Joe Biden took office.
Soros the younger chairs his father's Open Society Foundation and sits on the board of the European Council on Foreign Relations.
This Democratic fundraiser and University of California, Berkeley, grad routinely takes selfies with liberal elites and leftist politicians, such as French President Emmanuel Macron, former President Barack Obama, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (R-Calif.), Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-Calif.), and others across the globe.
On March 30, the White House revealed just how often in recent years Alexander Soros has haunted the White House. (The Blaze) Read more.

- Almighty King, You are the Author and Finisher of all things and You know this Soros family. We put every member before You and every dollar under Your authority, so that they may work for the glory of God, in Jesus name. We pray that You would bring massive interference and confusion into the heart of all their schemes against nations and bring this "empire" to its knees before a Holy God. We call for a full-scale cease and desist order against the destruction of our boundaries, Constitution and sovereignty and may every one of their governmental servants be removed from power, in Jesus Holy Name. Amen!
- '"For though you had defeated the whole army of the Chaldeans who fight against you, and there remained only wounded men among them, they would rise up, every man in his tent, and burn the city with fire.' (Jeremiah 37:10)

UN Seeks Vast New Powers for Global Emergencies
|
|
The United Nations is seeking vast new powers and stronger “global governance” tools to deal with international emergencies such as pandemics and economic crises, a new U.N. policy brief has revealed, and the Biden administration appears to support the proposal.
The plan to create an “Emergency Platform,” which would involve a set of protocols activated during crises that could affect billions of people, has already drawn strong concern and criticism from U.S. policymakers and analysts.
Among those expressing concern is House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas), whose committee oversees U.S. foreign policy and involvement in international organizations.
“We must be sure that any global protocol or platform operated by the U.N. respects U.S. national sovereignty and U.S. taxpayer dollars,” McCaul told The Epoch Times.
He also noted his concern that the proposed platform expands the authority and funding of the U.S. and the definitions of “emergency” and “crisis” to include, for instance, climate change. U.N. documents and statements released in March by key leaders of the global organization make clear that climate change is a major piece of the U.N. emergencies agenda. (Read more)

- We absolutely stand against this intentional global takeover of every sovereign nation on this planet by the U.N., along with the W.H.O. planning to do the same thing. We repudiate this power-grab completely in Jesus name and declare these organizations to be under God's authority and submitted to the laws and Constitution of every nation. If they refuse to submit, Holy King, we ask that they be brought to close and replaced with local representatives, in Jesus name.
- "'Present your case,' says the Lord. 'Bring forth your strong reasons,' says the King of Jacob. 'Let them bring forth and show us what will happen; Let them show the former things, what they were, That we may consider them, And know the latter end of them; Or declare to us things to come.'" FBI Undercover Agent Developed Plan to Spy on Catholics: Jordan
|
|
The chair of the House Judiciary Committee has subpoenaed FBI Director Christopher Wray for all records relating to a leaked internal memo that proposed developing sources in traditionalist Catholic parishes to inform on potential “violent extremists” in such houses of worship.
In an April 10 letter (pdf) attached to the subpoena, Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) noted that the committee’s investigation of that Jan. 23 memo, which has since been repudiated by the FBI, had revealed that it was produced by at least one undercover agent and that, despite leadership’s claims to the contrary, the bureau intended to act on the memo’s recommendations.
“Based on the limited information produced by the FBI to the Committee, we now know that the FBI relied on at least one undercover agent to produce its analysis, and that the FBI proposed that its agents engage in outreach to Catholic parishes to develop sources among the clergy and church leadership to inform on Americans practicing their faith,” Jordan wrote to Wray. “This shocking information reinforces our need for all responsive documents, and the Committee is issuing a subpoena to you to compel your full cooperation.”
On Feb. 9—one day after the memo was leaked on the UncoverDC website—the FBI’s national office disavowed the document in a statement provided to The Epoch Times, stating that its broad assumptions about a link between traditionalist Catholics and violent extremists “does not meet the exacting standards of the FBI.”
“Upon learning of the document, FBI Headquarters quickly began taking action to remove the document from FBI systems and conduct a review of the basis for the document,” the FBI National Press Office stated. “The FBI is committed to sound analytic tradecraft and to investigating and preventing acts of violence and other crimes while upholding the constitutional rights of all Americans and will never conduct investigative activities or open an investigation based solely on First Amendment protected activity.” (Read more)

- Mighty King, we recognize injustice from these agencies (FBI and DOJ), yet they are the very ones intended to be the keepers of what is right, just, noble and true in our land. We ask You for strategies and leaders to compel justice upon these ones who defraud our Constitutional rights, make defamatory accusations against people of God and strive to take power away from the people. We know You hear us, so we pray for Your wisdom upon those who can take strong action to defend the citizens of this nation against government overreach, in Jesus name.

1. UN called on to fire envoy for questioning Israel's right to defense - Jerusalem Post
An open letter calling for the dismissal of Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur for Palestinian territories, was sent to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Tuerk on Tuesday.
The reason for the demand is recent comments made by Albanese on Twitter, in which she claimed that Israel can't claim its right to defend itself against "the people it oppresses/whose lands it colonizes."
The authors of the letter expressed "utter dismay and outrage at the abhorrent statements" made by Albanese, adding that it is "unfathomable that such a statement would ever be made by a UN representative." (Read more)

2. Iran sent weapons to strike Israel under guise of earthquake aid to Syria - Jerusalem Post
Iran has used earthquake relief flights to bring weapons and military equipment into its strategic ally Syria, nine Syrian, Iranian, Israeli and Western sources said.
The sources told Reuters that the goal was to buttress Iran's defenses against Israel in Syria and to strengthen Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Reuters is the first to report this development.
After the Feb. 6 earthquake in northern Syria and Turkey, hundreds of flights from Iran began landing in Syria's Aleppo, Damascus and Latakia airports bringing supplies, and this went on for seven weeks, the sources said. More than 6,000 people died in all of Syria, according to the United Nations.
The supplies included advanced communications equipment and radar batteries and spare parts required for a planned upgrade of Syria's Iran-provided air defense system in its civil war, said the sources, two regional sources and a Western intelligence source said. (Read more)

4.. Israel Bans Jewish Visits to Temple Mount Until End of Ramadan - Algemeiner
i24 News – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will ban, beginning Wednesday, the access of Jewish worshipers and tourists to the Temple Mount until the end of Ramadan.

A statement from the Prime Minster’s Office said the decision was reached after “a comprehensive situation assessment with the heads of the security branches” and Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.
The ministers “instructed to invest all the necessary operational forces to protect the worshipers who will come to the Western Wall, and the delegations who are led to it,” the statement said. (Read more)

1. Biden admin announces new sanctions of ‘key targets’ linked to Mexican cartels amid fentanyl crisis - The Post Millennial
President Joe Biden has proposed plans to crack down on the synthetic opioid supply chain that has seen fentanyl crossing the southern border at a massive rate including sanctioning "key targets" affiliated with the illicit drug's trafficking.
The Biden administration released a fact sheet on Tuesday, detailing the steps it plans to take to combat the fentanyl crisis. The White House fact sheet reads: "Drug traffickers, who are primarily driven by profits, require significant funds to operate their illicit supply chains."
"The Biden-Harris Administration will expand its efforts to disrupt the illicit financial activities that fund these criminals by increasing accountability measures, including financial sanctions, on key targets to obstruct drug traffickers' access to the US financial system and illicit financial flows. We will also strengthen collaboration with international partners on illicit finance and anti-money laundering efforts related to drug trafficking." (Read more)
- Lord God we thank you that this administration is taking action to stop this dangerous drug trafficking from affecting our families and our children. We pray you continue to give the Biden administration wisdom that they would yield to your Spirit, and do what is right to protect our country and our citizens in Jesus name amen.

2. Judge denies activist's attempt to hide radical curriculum from public - The Post Millennial
The material created for a Math curriculum contains no numbers or formulas but rather focuses on “identity,” “power” and oppression.” This material was in line with the “Identity Wheel,” which demonstrates how much “power” one has based on how one identifies.
Castro Gill, identifies as a "non-binary" "Xicanx" and worked as the Ethnic Studies Manager for SPS from September 2018 until May 2020, when the superintendent removed her from the position due to "unprofessional behavior." After her dismissal from SPS, Castro-Gill founded and serves as the executive director for WAESN, an organization that sells radical curriculums and trains public school teachers across the country in "ethnic studies."
According to the judge, the plaintiff was “…unable to assert which exemption applies.” Additionally, the plaintiff “…does not address whether the disclosure would not be in the public interest and would substantially harm that party or vital government function,” and therefore “ordered that the preliminary injunction to extend the courts granting plaintiffs petition for the temporary restraining order is denied.” (Read more)
- Lord God, we thank you for this righteous ruling that these materials can be open to the public and not be hidden. We pray Lord for parents, teachers, and all who are involved in educating our kids that everyone would become more aware of the schemes and ungodly tactics to try and control and manipulate our children so that these evil plans can be found out and stopped in Jesus Christ name.

4. NPR quits Twitter in response to Musk attaching 'state-affiliated media' label - Washington Examiner
NPR said that it will no longer post its content on Twitter in response to the decision by the platform under Elon Musk to relabel it as "state-affiliated" media.
The public radio network told staffers on Wednesday that it would no longer publish fresh content on its 52 Twitter accounts.
NPR had been labeled as "state-affiliated media" by Twitter, causing an uproar. The label was used to identify news outlets affiliated with authoritarian governments, such as Russia's Sputnik.
The platform later changed the title to "government-funded media," but the news network challenged the label, saying it was a private company and has independent editorial decision-making. (Read more)

8. Biden: Texas judge’s ruling on abortion pill ‘completely out of bounds’ - The Hill
President Biden on Tuesday called it “completely out of bounds” for a federal judge in Texas to invalidate the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) decades-old approval of the abortion medication mifepristone.
“My thoughts are it’s completely out of bounds what the judge did,” Biden said when asked about last week’s ruling from U.S. District Court Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk.
Mifepristone was first approved by the FDA in 2000 and has been proven safe and effective. It’s one of two medications used to induce a medical abortion in the U.S.
Kacsmaryk ruled Friday in favor of anti-abortion groups, halting the FDA’s approval of the drug. If the decision is upheld, advocates have warned, it could open the door to any third party challenging any medication or treatment that they disagree with, including vaccines for children, AIDS drugs, birth control or hormone therapy. (Read more)
- Lord we realize that as these “dueling” cases are appealed to different Circuit Courts of Appeal and will likely end up at the Supreme Court, we pray for all the judges involved. We continue to pray that in our culture as well as the courts and legislatures, the right to life would be valued and protected. In Jesus name amen.
- “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses…Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!” (Deuteronomy 30:19-20)

Stupidocrisy: Media Say Trump Prosecution
Good For America
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, April 12, 2023
Many leading media outlets have written stories suggesting that democracies routinely prosecute their heads of state and this is good for the democracy, they say. These stories are no less an attempt to shape America’s public opinion that prosecuting President Trump is good for the country. America is a Constitutional Republic where the rule of law takes precedent over majority opinion. True democracy is majority rule, not necessarily ruled by laws. The law in the Republic is not supposed to be politically twisted or weaponized against anyone. We are equal under the law. Trump’s political opponents have raised false accusations and charges against him since his political journey began. None have stuck.
Writers for The Washington Post, Newsweek, New York Times and Axios all say that America behaving like banana republics is a good thing. Of course, they all work for leftist publications. They list out how the leaders of France, South Korea, Italy, Pakistan, Argentina, Brazil, Malaysia, Peru, South Africa, Taiwan, Japan, and, yes Israel have all been prosecuted and many convicted of criminal charges. Axios writes: “The big picture: In reality, leaders who left office since 2000 have been jailed or prosecuted in at least 78 countries–including in democracies like France, Israel and South Korea. Since 1980, around half of the world’s countries have had at least one such case, and that’s not counting impeachments or coups.” Not counting impeachments or coups? Coups are the meat and potatoes of tyranny. Read More

Appeals Court Ruling May Threaten DOJ Position in Dozens of Jan. 6 Cases: Lawyer
|
|
|
An April 7 decision issued by the D.C. Court of Appeals may jeopardize a key legal backing used by the Department of Justice (DOJ) to prosecute participants of the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol breach, according to attorney Albert Watkins.
“What this opinion did do was, it practically begged for other [Jan. 6] cases to be brought up to the Court of Appeals that would permit a more balanced opinion,” Watkins, who has represented four Jan. 6 defendants, including released prisoner Jacob Chansley, told The Epoch Times in an interview on April 11.
Watkins’ comment came after a three-judge panel at the D.C. Court of Appeals, on April 7, struck down a lower court’s ruling in a 2–1 vote, dismissing a federal charge against three Jan. 6 defendants, and rejected the lower court’s reasoning about the scope of the obstruction charge.
While the higher court’s ruling (pdf) allowed the DOJ’s prosecution of these three specific defendants—Joseph Fischer, Edward Lang, and Garret Miller—to continue, the impact of the higher court’s opinion extends beyond these cases, the attorney said. (Read more)

Family of suspected Louisville bank shooter Connor Sturgeon says he suffered 'mental health challenges'
|
|
|
The suspected gunman behind Monday's shooting at Old National Bank in Louisville, 25-year-old Connor Sturgeon, had "mental health challenges" but there were "never any warning signs" he was capable of carrying out the attack that left five dead and eight injured, his family said in a new statement.
In a statement issued to the Louisville community, the Sturgeon family expressed their remorse for the "unthinkable harm" their son, a banker at the facility, caused when he brought in a rifle and fatally shot Tommy Elliott, 63, Joshua Barrick, 40, Deana Eckert, 57, Jim Tutt, 64, and Juliana Farmer, 45.
"No words can express our sorrow, anguish, and horror at the unthinkable harm our son Connor inflicted on innocent people, their families, and the entire Louisville community," the family said in the statement, WRDB reported.
The family said they were praying for the community and for the trauma his alleged actions caused.
The statement continued: "We mourn their loss and that of our son, Connor. We pray for everyone traumatized by his senseless acts of violence and are deeply grateful for the bravery and heroism of the Louisville Metropolitan Police Department."
"While Connor, like many of his contemporaries, had mental health challenges which we, as a family, were actively addressing, there were never any warning signs or indications he was capable of this shocking act," the family said.
"While we have many unanswered questions, we will continue to cooperate fully with law enforcement officials and do all we can to aid everyone in understanding why and how this happened," they added. (Fox News) Read more

- Lord God, we lift this family up to you as they repent publicly for what their son has done to harm others. We pray Lord that you would heal their soul and the trauma they are facing as they process their sons actions. Send your angels to minister to them and bring them peace in Jesus name. Amen.

WWII Navajo 'code talker' turns 106:
How these Marines' special language changed military capabilities
|
|
Navajo code talker John Kinsel, Sr. celebrated a major milestone earlier this year — his 106th birthday. Who were the World War II Navajo Code Talkers? During World War II, the U.S. Marines selected a group of Navajo men who created an impenetrable code based on the "complex, unwritten Navajo language" according to Intelligence.gov. They became known as the Navajo Code Talkers. "The code primarily used word association by assigning a Navajo word to key phrases and military tactics," that site notes, adding that the system "enabled the Code Talkers to translate three lines of English in 20 seconds, not 30 minutes as was common with existing code-breaking machines."
Kinsel is "certainly someone whose service and life is known," New Orleans-based National WWII Museum's research historian Jason Dawsey told Fox News Digital in an interview. "What I want Americans to know about patriots like John Kinsel is … that people like [him] stood up during World War II and provided the most amazing contributions to the U.S. war effort in the Pacific," he also said. The WWII veteran rang in his special day on Jan. 22 in his hometown of Lukachukai, Arizona, with about 30 family members and friends, according to the Navajo Times.
Kinsel was honored with an American Spirit Award in 2022 on behalf of the National WWII Museum as were other remaining Navajo Code Talkers Thomas Begay, Samuel Sandoval and Peter MacDonald. (Sandoval passed away last year at age 98.) The award is the museum’s highest honor, according to a press release, which recognizes individuals who "exemplify the outstanding qualities of the American spirit and inspire the expression of these values through their life’s work." Dawsey of the National World War II Museum explained that the code talkers were "instrumental in defeating the Japanese" during the war by using their indigenous language to create an impenetrable mode of communication. Marching to Zion

Words: Isaac Watts
Music: Robert Lowry
Scripture: Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion. Jeremiah 31:6
Lyrics:
Come, we that love the Lord,
And let our joys be known;
Join in a song with sweet accord,
Join in a song with sweet accord
And thus surround the throne,
And thus surround the throne.
Refrain
We’re marching to Zion,
Beautiful, beautiful Zion;
We’re marching upward to Zion,
The beautiful city of God.
The sorrows of the mind
Be banished from the place;
Religion never was designed
Religion never was designed,
To make our pleasures less,
To make our pleasures less.
Refrain
Let those refuse to sing,
Who never knew our God;
But favorites of the heavenly King,
But favorites of the heavenly King
May speak their joys abroad,
May speak their joys abroad.
Refrain
The God that rules on high,
And thunders when He please,
Who rides upon the stormy sky,
Who rides upon the stormy sky,
And manages the seas,
And manages the seas.
Refrain
This awful God is ours,
Our Father and our Love;
He will send down his heav’nly powers,
He will send down his heav’nly powers,
To carry us above,
To carry us above.
Refrain
There we shall see His face,
And never, never sin!
There, from the rivers of His grace,
There, from the rivers of His grace,
Drink endless pleasures in,
Drink endless pleasures in.
