"For the kingdom is the LORD'S: and he is the governor among the nations." (Psalm 22:28)

> > > PLEASE NOTE: As we decree the verses together, below, let us thank our Lord that IT IS WRITTEN:

"So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11)

In this critical hour, let us war in unity with the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God! (Ephesians 6:17)

‘One Health’ to Rule Them All? Time-Sensitive!
The World Health Assembly, also known as the decision-making body of the WHO, convenes on May 21–30, 2023, to hold its biggest meeting of the year. According to Liberty Counsel, “the goal is to pass a new Pandemic Treaty along with many amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHR).” What takes place during this meeting could affect national sovereignty as amendments to the 2005 International Health Regulations are being voted upon that are part of a legally binding agreement. Investigative journalist James Roguski warns that this would give the WHO “unprecedented power over national-level governments” and “provide an overarching legal framework that defines countries’ rights and obligations in handling public health events and emergencies.” Additionally, the WHO would be given control over “every state’s public health response” when a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) is declared. GOP's Luna unveils resolution to expel Adam Schiff from Congress

The publication of Special Counsel John Durham's report this week revealed that the FBI began its investigation of the Trump campaign without any predicating evidence.

Florida Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna on Wednesday unveiled a resolution to remove California Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff from Congress.

"Schiff lied to the American people. He used his position on House Intel to push a lie that cost American taxpayers millions of dollars," she wrote in a Tweet from her official account. "He is a dishonor to the House of Representatives."

On her personal account, Luna included a different statement in a post that included the resolution.

"Knowingly using your position on House Intel to push a lie that ripped apart our country, cost taxpayers millions of dollars, and authorized spying on a US President and then proceeding to double down on the lie within days of the Durham report coming out makes you unfit for office. Ethics should investigate," she insisted. (Just the News) Read more here.

- Father God, we thank You for the courage demonstrated by Rep. Anna
Paulina in introducing this bill to have Rep. Adam Schiff removed from Congress. Lord God, Rep. Schiff has established a long record of violating our rights as American citizens, so he has now lost the privilege of serving us in Congress. We ask, dear Lord, that this bill be met with favor on the House floor, and that Adam Schiff will be impeached. In Your Name we offer this prayer, amen and amen.

Conservative Senators Stop Weaponization of Child Abuse Bill Against Parents Opposed to Abortion, ‘Transgenderism’ for Children
A bill intended to prevent child sexual abuse was originally littered with loopholes for reporting religious entities and parents who object to “gender transition” and abortions for minor children until Sens. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and Mike Lee, R-Utah, stepped in.

In a rare show of bipartisanship last week, the Senate Judiciary Committee passed a bill to combat child sexual abuse material online and establish reporting requirements for online platform providers. The bill also reactivated a decades-old provision obligating certain organizations and professions to report suspected child sexual abuse. But it wasn’t just the bipartisanship of the bill’s passage that made it notable. It was what it took to get to bipartisanship in the first place.

While it was originally littered with problematic language that opened loopholes for tracking and reporting religious entities and parents who might object to “gender transition” procedures or abortions for minor children, conservative senators worked hard across the aisle to make the bill one that both parties could support.

. . .  Thankfully, Sens. Mike Lee, R-Utah, and Ted Cruz, R-Texas, realized the impact this language could have on well-meaning parents and organizations or employees who provide “religious guidance” and were able to secure a delay in the bill’s mark-up to discuss the problematic provisions.

After a few weeks of negotiations and drafting of various amendments, these senators were able to secure an agreement between Durbin and Sen. Lindsey Graham to apply an appropriate fix. Ultimately, the bill passed out of committee by a vote of 20-1, picking up co-sponsorships from Cruz and Sen. Josh Hawley along the way. (Daily Signal) Read more

- Father God, we can only shout "Hallelujah!" at the news of the almost unanimous passage of this bill in this Senate Committee. We now ask that this momentum towards passage by the full Senate would continue in the final vote, and that the president would sign this into law. Thank You, O Lord, that light still shines in our darkness, amen and amen!

- "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." (John 1:5 NIV)
Debt Limit Talks Stall as Republicans
'Press Pause'
Debt limit talks came to an abrupt standstill Friday after Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy said it's time to “pause” negotiations, and a White House official acknowledged there are “real differences” that are making talks difficult. McCarthy said resolution to the standoff is “easy,” if only President Joe Biden would agree to some spending cuts Republicans are demanding. It is unclear when negotiations would resume. “We’ve got to get movement by the White House and we don’t have any movement yet,” McCarthy, R-Calif., told reporters at the Capitol. "So, yeah, we’ve got to pause.”

In the Senate, which is controlled by majority Democrats, the Republican leader Mitch McConnell has taken a backseat publicly, and is pushing Biden to strike a deal directly with McCarthy. McConnell blamed Biden for having “waited months before agreeing to negotiate” with the speaker. “They are the only two who can reach an agreement,” McConnell said in a tweet. “It is past time for the White House to get serious. Time is of the essence.”

Experts have warned that even the threat of a debt default would send shockwaves through the economy. Markets had been rising this week on hopes of a deal. But that shifted abruptly Friday after negotiators ended late morning an hour after they had begun. The S&P 500 went from a gain of 0.3% to a loss of 0.1% and the Dow Jones Industrial Average went from a gain of 117 points to a loss of about 90 points. (Newsmax)

- Father God, when we are helpless and hopeless, we turn to You in repentance. We ask once again that the light that is shining in the darkness would now penetrate these discussions on the debt limit, bringing the breakthrough we need to move this work forward. We thank You, O Lord, Mighty God, that it is written that nothing is too difficult for You, so we lay this matter upon the altar of Your Grace. In Your Name, amen and amen.

- " . . . nothing is too difficult for thee!" (Jeremiah 32:17)

Our Weekly Call to Repentance

CHPP Welcomes You to Join Us Every Week in One Hour of Repentance

Sunday evening at 10:00 p.m. EDT
Dial 717-908-1983
Access Code: 9301470#

Dear Saints,

A lifestyle of REPENTANCE is so close to the heart of God.

Indeed, He commands us to  "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!" Matthew 3:2

How, then, can we approach His Throne of GRACE, in repentance?

We invite you to join us every week on Sunday evening, as we explore this vital topic together. We present a different prayer focus each week, leading us into repentance, so that we might approach His Throne of Grace in repentance, presenting ourselves to Him as a pure and a spotless Bride, without spot or wrinkle. (Ephesians 5:27)

Praying together, we desire to fulfill the mandate of Psalm 139:

" Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; 24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting." Psalm 139:24

You can join us, any Sunday evening, at 10:00 p.m. EST by calling:

717-908-1983
Access Code: 9301470#

WELCOME!

". . . and if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

"Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place."
(2 Chronicles 7:14,15)
