In Context: God made the decision
Father, we have much to thank You for this week. Generations of Americans have been at risk of having their lives ended before they were ever allowed to see the light of day.

At 10:10 a.m., Friday, 6/24/2022, the Supreme Court
released its decision to overturn two Supreme Court decisions that for decades had prevented States from passing laws to protect the unborn from having their innocent blood shed for profit.

For some of us there were tears of joy that made it difficult to speak in light of the fulfillment of so many years and days of effort to bring that day to pass.

Father, we thank You for so many Presidents and Senators and their teams that helped put the Justices on the Supreme Court of the United States to finally correct this evil injustice.

Father, we ask You to deeply embed this work and these legal doctrines into American jurisprudence so that life can now continue to be protected for generations to come.

For others, Friday morning, there were tears of sadness, fear, and anger.

Father, we ask You to bring healing to many who have had and have been affected by an abortion or more than one. We ask that You would direct them not to turn elsewhere for abortion, but to turn away from abortion to You.

Father, we specifically want to lift up Jackson Women's Health Organization in Mississippi, the abortion clinic in this case. May it please You to turn their hearts away from abortion. May they not move elsewhere to continue their evil works, but turn to You and turn others to You.

Father, we ask for a great movement of confession of abortion and the shedding of innocent blood. We know many mothers and fathers remember the date their child's life was ended and know how old their child could have been today.

Father, we lift up before You those people who may find out they were more affected by abortion than they ever thought. We pray for the young people today who have said such utterly sad things like, “We're the generation that should have been aborted.” We pray for the parents who have said such utterly sad things like, “I wish I had aborted my child." Father, may their put their trust in You instead of themselves and instead of death.

Father, we know that we are all sinners. We know that life is to be valued, and we know that life is difficult. We thank You for your Son, Jesus, who survived attempts on taking His young life, and for the price He
paid to cover all our sin. We thank You that the blood of Jesus can wash away the stain from the blood of abortion.

Father, we know that abortion is just as legal today in many states as it was a week ago. We ask You to empower and embolden Your People in positions of authority to make the most of this moment to swiftly protect the unborn in those states.

Father, we ask You to turn hearts toward You, away from abortion, and to scatter any plans of the enemy to turn the United States of America back to evil.

The Lord delivers “that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.” (1 Samuel 17:46)

Our Weekly Call to Repentance

CHPP Welcomes You to Join Us Every Week in One Hour of Repentance

Sunday evening at 10:00 p.m. EDT
Dial 667-770-51415Access Code: 150411#

Dear Saints,

A lifestyle of REPENTANCE is so close to the heart of God.

Indeed, He commands us to  "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!" Matthew 3:2

How, then, can we approach His Throne of GRACE, in repentance?

We invite you to join us every week on Sunday evening, as we explore this vital topic together. We present a different prayer focus each week, leading us into repentance, so that we might approach His Throne of Grace in repentance, presenting ourselves to Him as a pure and a spotless Bride, without spot or wrinkle. (Ephesians 5:27)

Praying together, we desire to fulfill the mandate of Psalm 139:

" Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; 24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting." Psalm 139:24

You can join us, any Sunday evening, at 10:00 p.m. EST by calling:

712-770-5350
Access Code: 150411#

WELCOME!

". . . and if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

"Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place."
(2 Chronicles 7:14,15)
