TRUMP FILES 'POWERHOUSE' MOTION TO HOLD JACK SMITH IN CONTEMPT OF COURT

Former President Donald Trump’s lawyers have filed a “powerhouse” motion, which calls for a judge to hold Special Counsel Jack Smith in contempt regarding the 2020 election interference case.

On Thursday, the 45th president’s attorneys filed the motion calling for a federal judge to hold Smith in contempt of court for purportedly “repeatedly violating” a stay order in his election investigation.

Smith’s legal battle against the 2024 GOP front-runner is on hold while Trump’s legal team files an appeal arguing that he is immune from prosecution.

The trial had reportedly been set for March 4th.

Trump Attorney John Lauro wrote in the filing that “the Stay Order is clear, straightforward and unambiguous.”

“All substantive proceedings in this Court are halted. Despite this clarity, the prosecutors began violating the Stay almost immediately,” he continued.

The court halted proceedings within five days, according to Lauro, and Smith’s team “served thousands of pages of additional discovery, together with a purported draft exhibit list.”

“Through counsel, President Trump advised that he rejected the prosecutors’ unlawful productions, that their actions violated the Stay Order, and that he would seek relief if their malicious conduct continued,” he said.  “Smith filed an expansive motion in limine less than 10 days later, which teems with partisan rhetoric, including false claims that President Trump ‘propagates irrelevant disinformation’ both ‘within the courtroom’ and ‘outside of it.’”

Additionally, according to Lauro, the motion “mirrors the dishonest talking points of the Biden administration,” which falsely claim that President Trump was to blame for the events of January 6th, 2021 when, in reality, he had called for peaceful and patriotic assembly and protest.

“In this manner, the prosecutors seek to weaponize the Stay to spread political propaganda, knowing that President Trump would not fully respond because the Court relieved him of the burdens of litigation during the Stay,” Lauro wrote. “Worse, the prosecutors have announced their intention to continue this partisan-driven misconduct indefinitely, effectively converting this Court’s docket into an arm of the Biden campaign.”

- Lord God, Holy One, we praise You for this bold move now taken by, and on behalf of, President Trump. We say: "Enough is enough!" and that these baseless accusations must now stop, made against the 45th President of the United States in a court of law. Thank You, Holy One, that You ARE in control of these matters, in Your wonderful name we pray, amen and amen.

- "Again
I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven."            (Matt. 18:19)

HOUSE SPEAKER JOHNSON LEADS A GROUP OF GOP LAWMAKERS TO TEXAS BORDER AS MIGRANT ENCOUNTERS SET RECORD

Dozens of Republican lawmakers visited the U.S.-Mexico border in Texas Wednesday to get a first-hand look at the migrant crisis. They're set for a showdown to secure more funding for the region that both sides of the aisle can accept.

The White House says negotiations on border funding are "Moving in the right direction" as both sides continue to work towards a deal.

Republicans have said new aid for Ukraine must be tied to increased U.S. border security.

The GOP is walking their talk down south. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and 60 other Republican lawmakers visited the border in Texas as the GOP focuses on making the border a key issue this election year.

Standing near the U.S. border where thousands of migrants continue to cross, Johnson demanded the White House use more executive orders to stem the record surge of illegal crossings.

In Eagle Pass, Texas, House Republicans expressed concern after the southern border saw a record rate of illegal migrant encounters last month.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection confirmed to ABC News that officials encountered more than 300,000 migrants in December, far surpassing the previous record of nearly 270,000 in September 2023.

In a statement, a spokesperson for CBP said: "CBP has taken significant steps to surge personnel and resources to impacted sectors and address the challenges we are experiencing across the southwest border. Encounter numbers continue to fluctuate, as smugglers and bad actors continue to spread falsehoods and show complete disregard for the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable migrants. We remain vigilant and stand ready to ensure the safety of our personnel, migrants, and local communities, and the security of our southwest border."

He confirmed migrants attempting to enter without authorization are subject to expulsion under Title 8. (CBN) Read more here.

- Father God, we love You and we seek to obey You in all we do. We are literally getting tired of bringing this migrant mess before Your Throne of Grace, as we believe that this situation is not in Your will, and we are waiting for You to ACT.

We thank You that Speaker Mike Johnson has brought 330 members of Congress down to the border in Texas, that they might see this situation for themselves, and return to Washington to take action in response. We ask that You guide each one with Your wisdom, so that new policies will be set in place to "reverse the curse" of this matter and to work to "restore what the locust has eaten," in Your Name.

Lord God, this is now a matter of NATIONAL SECURITY, for which strong measures must be taken to bring this migrant crisis
under control.

Thank You, O Lord, for hearing our prayer, amen and amen.

- "‘Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You." (Jeremiah 32:17)

Trump fires back at Jan. 6 criticism, says Biden is a 'true threat to democracy'
Biden delivered a campaign speech in PA blasting Trump to mark three years since Jan. 6

Former President Trump said President Biden is a "true threat to democracy," while reacting to his opponent’s campaign speech marking three years since the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

Biden delivered a campaign speech in Blue Bell, Pa. Friday, and spent the majority of the address attacking Trump, who holds a massive lead over the GOP presidential primary field.

Biden accused Trump of "trying to steal history the same way he tried to steal the election," while saying that the results of the 2020 election proved that he was a "loser."

But in an interview with Fox News Digital after Biden's speech, Trump fired back.

"The Democrats rigged the last election and they are trying it again," Trump said. "But it won’t work because they have shown how bad and incompetent they are."

"Joe Biden is the worst president in the history of the United States — he is incompetent, he is crooked, and in many respects, he is Benedict Arnold," Trump told Fox News Digital. "He is destroying our country like no one else has done before."

Trump, pointing to the crisis at the Southern Border, said the United States has "an invasion of millions of people, many from prisons, mental institutions and terrorists pouring into our country."

"He is responsible for this," Trump said. "We are a failing nation — a nation in decline — and it is all because he is the worst president in the history of our country."

Trump went on to tell Fox News Digital that "because of his gross incompetence, Joe Biden is a true threat to democracy. This is not a time for us to have a mentally challenged president," Trump said. (Fox News) Read more.

- Lord God, Lord God, Lord God. Thank You for this man, Donald John Trump, whom the people chose to be their President in 2017. They have chosen well.

We thank You for the words of TRUTH He has spoken, identifying the one who is the real danger to our country: Joe Biden. In prayer, we need not repeat what has been spoken, for these words are all TRUE.

Help us, O God, in this time of peril, and protect us from this dangerous man, Joe Biden, in Your Name, We forgive those who voted him into office in -- in an illegal election.

Father God, we ask that our people would now hear words of TRUTH as we approach this next election; and that we would not make this dangerous mistake again.

Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer, amen and amen!

The Lord is our Lawgiver,
The Lord is our King;
He will save us);"

Biden’s Ugly Strategy

By Gary Bauer
American Values

Joe Biden’s approval ratings are at rock bottom. In fact, they’re at record lows compared to modern presidents. But he and his political advisors think they have the path to victory. Today, he is rolling out his campaign strategy with a speech at Valley Forge, and it’s ugly.

Biden is losing support among black Americans and other minorities because of inflation, crime and record illegal immigration. So, his solution is to lie.

He’s telling minorities that the biggest threat facing America is white supremacy. It’s raw race baiting to divide us even further, and it’s a disgusting lie.

Polls show that support for Biden is dropping among young adults. So, what’s his answer? He has ignored a Supreme Court ruling and continues to use taxpayer money to pay off millions of student loans held by young adults.

In the process, he’s made fools of everyone who did the right thing and paid off their loans. And he’s hobbling millions of blue-collar workers who didn’t go to college with the burden of paying for those who did.

Biden’s support among women is also falling. They’re worried about rising prices, dangerous streets and the insane transgender movement canceling what it means to be a woman. His radical allies are also attacking mothers for trying to protect their children from graphic sexual material in school.

So, what is Biden’s answer? More abortions. He’s betting that women care more about the right to kill their unborn child than anything else.

The jury is out on whether this strategy of stoking racial division, fiscal irresponsibility and the non-stop promotion of the death culture will work. But one thing is certain: At the end of a campaign like that, America will be worse off, not better.

Dear Saints,

A lifestyle of REPENTANCE is so close to the heart of God.

Indeed, He commands us to  "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!" Matthew 3:2

How, then, can we approach His Throne of GRACE, in repentance?

We invite you to join us every week on Sunday evening, as we explore this vital topic together. We present a different prayer focus each week, leading us into repentance, so that we might approach His Throne of Grace in repentance, presenting ourselves to Him as a pure and a spotless Bride, without spot or wrinkle. (Ephesians 5:27)

Praying together, we desire to fulfill the mandate of Psalm 139:

" Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; 24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting." Psalm 139:24

You can join us, any Sunday evening, at 10:00 p.m. EST by calling:

717-908-1983
Access Code: 9301470#

WELCOME!

". . . and if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

"Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place."
(2 Chronicles 7:14,15)
