Supreme Court Temporarily Allows Access To Abortion Pill Mifepristone Amid Judges' Contradicting Orders

The U.S. Supreme Court on Friday temporarily allowed access to the abortion pill mifepristone after a Texas ruling last week set limits to the use of the drug.

Justice Samuel Alito halted the lower court rulings that seek to limit access to mifepristone Friday, which in turn freezes the litigation being pursued by pro-life groups and maintains availability.

The conservative justice asked for challenges to the lower court ruling to be filed by Tuesday at noon. (Supreme Court Orders: FDA, Danco Laboratories)

Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas ruled last week that the Food and Drug Administration's improperly approved mifepristone. (Fox News) Read more
- Father, we thank You for the movement to hold the FDA to account for its decades of corruption regarding this evil concoction to turn mother's wombs into hostile places that end the lives of the innocent unborn child they were intended to protect and nurture. We also thank You for a justice system that allows for accountability and appeals. We ask that You would expedite these legal proceedings, and to bring about an end to the legal dispensing of this drug and its purpose that never should have been approved.

- “Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.” (Isaiah 49:13)

Supreme Court Rules Against Biden Administration in Agency Lawsuit Dispute

A Supreme Court ruling on April 14 made it easier to challenge the reach of two powerful federal agencies—the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

In its new red tape-cutting decision that is a defeat for the Biden administration, the Supreme Court took steps to rein in the so-called administrative state and reaffirm the separation of powers doctrine that prevents any specific branch of the government from exercising the core functions of another. The idea behind the doctrine is to discourage the concentration of power and make sure there are checks and balances.

Critics of the administrative state claim that in-house adjudications carried out by agencies are unfair because the tribunals, unlike regular courts, lack fixed evidentiary rules, allowing the agencies to function as prosecutor, judge, and jury. They argue that the tribunals are unconstitutional because they are not politically accountable.

The litigants challenging the agencies argued they should be able to contest the way the tribunals are constituted in federal courts without first having to launch a lengthy, expensive challenge within the administrative system.Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Father God, we shout HALLELUJAH at learning this news!

First, because this ruling was unanimous in the Court's opinion, and second, because this ruling has clearly reinforced the separation of powers defined in our Constitution.

Thank you, Lord, for this historic decision rendered by the Supreme Court of the United States of America!  Amen and amen!

- " Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD."
(Psalm 150:6)

What We Know About Jack Teixeira, Accused of Involvement in Classified Documents Leak

IA 21-year-old has been taken into custody for allegedly being involved in the leak of secret U.S. military documents.

Jack Teixeira of the Massachusetts Air National Guard was arrested on April 13 at a home in southern Massachusetts, about 18 miles east of Providence, Rhode Island.

Here’s what we know about Teixeira.

IT Specialist

After enlisting in September 2019, Teixeira became a cyber transport systems specialist, a National Guard spokesperson told The Epoch Times via email.

According to his specialty code, Teixeira was listed at the lowest skill level. Teixeira had top secret clearance and sensitive compartmented access to other highly classified programs since 2021.

Officials with the Massachusetts National Guard have not responded to requests for comment on Teixeira, who was awarded an Air Force Achievement Medal in September 2022.

Took Documents Home

An investigation found that a person who had been posting the documents on social media initially transcribed text from the documents at work, but became concerned he would be discovered.

The person, later identified as Teixeira, “began taking the documents to his residence and photographing them,” charging documents stated.

. . . As part of acquiring top secret clearance, Teixeira would have signed a lifetime, binding non-disclosure agreement that acknowledged unauthorized disclosure of secret information could result in criminal charges.

Teixeira was charged with unauthorized retention and transmission of national defense information and unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents or material.

Documents Posted Online

Among the dozens of images that were circulating, one image appeared to show a recent map of fighting in eastern Ukraine’s Donetsk region. And another purported intelligence image showed damage that was done by a “recent strike,” dated February 2023, in the Donetsk city of Marinka.

Another apparently leaked Defense Intelligence Agency document appeared to outline possible scenarios in which the Israeli government would provide Ukrainian forces with weapons. It listed several scenarios, which were labeled from “most plausible” to “least plausible.”

Yet another purported to show Russian and Ukrainian casualties as of early March 2023. One of the papers claimed that between 16,000 and 17,500 Russian soldiers have died so far, while Ukrainian forces suffered as many as 71,500 deaths since the conflict erupted last year.

American and Ukrainian officials have said that the leaked materials surrounding the Ukraine war may have been doctored.

The Epoch Times cannot confirm the authenticity of the documents. (Read more)

- Father God, we thank you that Jack Teixeira has been apprehended, so that his treacherous behavior has ceased. We ask now, Holy One, for a miracle of divine intervention so that all other classified documents still circulating on different social media platforms would be deleted. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers, amen and amen.

- "Nothing is too difficult for thee."  (Jer. 32:17)

Our Weekly Call to Repentance

CHPP Welcomes You to Join Us Every Week in One Hour of Repentance

Sunday evening at 10:00 p.m. EDT
Dial 717-908-1983
Access Code: 9301470#

Dear Saints,

A lifestyle of REPENTANCE is so close to the heart of God.

Indeed, He commands us to  "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!" Matthew 3:2

How, then, can we approach His Throne of GRACE, in repentance?

We invite you to join us every week on Sunday evening, as we explore this vital topic together. We present a different prayer focus each week, leading us into repentance, so that we might approach His Throne of Grace in repentance, presenting ourselves to Him as a pure and a spotless Bride, without spot or wrinkle. (Ephesians 5:27)

Praying together, we desire to fulfill the mandate of Psalm 139:

" Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; 24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting." Psalm 139:24

You can join us, any Sunday evening, at 10:00 p.m. EST by calling:

717-908-1983
Access Code: 9301470#

WELCOME!

". . . and if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

"Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place."
(2 Chronicles 7:14,15)
