Vitiello insists Remain in Mexico policy must be reinstated as 12,000 Haitian migrants crowd under Texas bridge.
Former Acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Ron Vitiello slammed the Biden administration over the crisis at the southern border, saying America deserves better as more than 12,000 Haitian migrants camp under a Texas bridge near Del Rio.
Vitiello made those remarks during "Fox & Friends First" on Monday saying, "The images that you're seeing should disturb all of America- whether you're on the right, the middle or the left."
"We deserve better from our leadership."
Fox News obtained pictures of the growing surge as border agents scramble to deploy additional resources to the growing encampment, which authorities claim may still grow by the thousands.
"This kind of chaos is not good for anybody," Vitiello said. "It's not good for our cities and towns and homeland and it's not good for the border community."
"Think about the agents who have to deal with that crush of humanity every day and then go back home to their own families."
Vitiello explained the Biden administration's policies have enabled the crisis, specifically in terms of both human smuggling and drug trafficking, and now the administration has to play ‘catch up’ to mitigate the situation. Read more

1. Sisi calls for Israeli-Palestinian talks after meeting Bahraini King - Jerusalem Post
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi called for the resumption of Israel-Palestinian talks, which have been frozen since 2014, after he met this past week with Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
“The two sides confirmed the importance of working... to intensify international efforts to break the stalemate in the peace process and resume negotiations so as to resolve the Palestinian crisis based on international legitimacy resolutions,” Sisi’s office said in a statement about Wednesday’s meeting at Sharm e-Sheikh.
“The Bahraini king lauded Egypt’s recent endeavors in this file at the highest level, its tireless efforts to firm up the ceasefire between the Israelis and the Palestinians, and its initiative for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip,” Sisi’s office said. (Read more)

2. Israel commemorates 48th anniversary of Yom Kippur War - JNS
(September 19, 2021 / Israel Hayom) Israeli officials and bereaved families gathered at Jerusalem’s Mount Herzl on Sunday to commemorate the 48th anniversary of the 1973 Yom Kippur War.
“Something within us changed 48 years ago,” said Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett in his address. “The Yom Kippur War proved how dangerous complacency and arrogance can be. It taught us a lesson in humility, but also the importance of being prepared and organized,” he added.
While the war’s deadly toll was “unbearable,” said Bennett, “What many perceived as a failure, I see as a victory, for the difficult challenge of losing one’s lofty status, but gaining victory nevertheless, both on the Syrian and Egyptian fronts, is remarkable.”
The recapture earlier that morning of the last two of six terrorists that escaped from Israel’s Gilboa Prison on Sept. 6 was another example of this, said Bennett. (Read more)

3. EU plans to spend 3 billion Euros creating a de-facto Palestinian state by 2030 - World Israel News
European nations are actively encouraging and funding the building of illegal Palestinian settlements in Area C of the West Bank, even as Israel is being criticized for legal building, the director of a pro-Israel organization has said.
The West Bank is the area west of the Jordan river which was captured from Jordan in the 1967 war by Israel. As it includes Palestinian towns, the region, known as Judea and Samaria to Jewish Israelis, was subsequently split into three sections by the Oslo Accords: Area A, administered by the Palestinian Authority, which Israeli citizens are barred from entering, Area B, which is shared territory, and Area C which under Israeli control.
Israel has come under increasingly vocal criticism for the building of settlements in Area C, with critics accusing Israel of attempting to change the facts on the ground. However, the EU has simultaneously been actively encouraging the building of Palestinian settlements in the same region without planning permission from the Israeli authorities – making them illegal settlements.
“To date, EU member countries have transferred around 120 million Euros toward building in Area C,” Gilad Ach, director of the Ad Kan non-profit organization told Arutz Sheva. “From their perspective, the battle is already over in Areas A and B, and now they’ve moved on to take control over areas that were designated as Israeli-controlled in the Oslo Agreements. They don’t care about that – they’re going right ahead and actually building a Palestinian state right in the middle of Area C.” (Read more)

4. Shomron Leader Calls to Stop Arab ‘Occupation’ of Area C After Germany Pledges €100 M. to Fund PA Projects - Jewish Press
The Israeli government must take action against the Palestinian Authority’s (PA) encroachment on Israeli-controlled areas in Judea and Samaria before it is too late, a settlement leader warned after Germany signed a joint cooperation agreement with the PA in which Germany pledged about 100 million euros during the next two years to finance projects in the Gaza Strip and the PA, including Jerusalem.
The German funding will support “vital projects” including the Arab communities in Area C, under full Israeli control as per the Oslo Accords.
The German representative to the PA Oliver Owcza praised “the historical relations and bilateral relations between Palestine and Germany,” reiterating his country’s support for “a negotiated two-state solution, holding elections in Palestine, and respecting human rights and public freedoms.”
Head of the Binyamin Regional Council Yisrael Ganz stated in response that “the Israeli governments have disregarded and are disregarding even today the Arab occupation of Judea and Samaria that is progressing at an alarming rate. Germany is deep in the efforts and it is starting to become too late.” (Read more)

5. Doctors to Health Ministry: 'Drop booster shot requirement for Green Pass system' - Israel National News
A group of Israeli doctors and scientists are calling on the Health Ministry to cancel the requirement to have three doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID vaccine in order to gain entry to a wide variety of public venues, according to a report by Channel 12 Sunday afternoon.
Roughly one hundred doctors and scientists signed onto a letter addressed to Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz (Meretz), demanding that the Ministry nix the requirement for a COVID booster shot in order to secure a ‘Green Pass’, enabling the holder to enter a wide variety of public venues.
Teachers are also set to be required to have a third dose of the vaccine when schools restart at the end of the month.
Last month, the Health Ministry announced that it was altering the Green Pass system, capping passes issued after two doses to just six months after the second shot, and requiring a third dose in order to extend the passes.
The signatories to the letter addressed to Minister Horowitz argued, however, that in light of the US FDA’s decision to bar COVID booster shots for Americans under the age of 65, the Green Pass system should not be limited to Israelis who have received three doses of the vaccine. (Read more)

1. Biden Administration Warns States Federal Debt Crisis Might Trigger Recession - theepochtimes.com
The Biden administration has issued a warning that the pending federal debt crisis might trigger an economic recession that would affect economic growth and trigger job losses across the United States.
“Hitting the debt ceiling could cause a recession. Economic growth would falter, unemployment would rise, and the labor market could lose millions of jobs,” the White House said in a letter (pdf) to state and local governments that was released Sept. 17.
Arguing that Congress needs to raise or suspend the U.S. debt ceiling, the administration said the debt crisis may affect the country’s recovery after the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus pandemic. In July, Congress missed its deadline to suspend or raise the debt limit, prompting several recent warnings from Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen that her agency will exhaust its cash reserves.
“The U.S. economy has just begun to recover from the pandemic and a manufactured debt ceiling crisis would threaten the gains we’ve made and the future recovery,” the White House said.
If the United States defaults for the first time in its history should Congress not act, a number of federally funded programs could be stopped, the White House letter continued to say. That includes Medicaid, infrastructure funding, and disaster relief efforts. (Read more )

2. Texas Law Enforcement Storm Border With Scores Of Vehicles, Secure Area After Biden Failed - The Daily Wire
Law enforcement officials with the state of Texas appear to have taken control of the situation in Del Rio, Texas, after the Biden administration repeatedly failed to stop tens of thousands of migrants from illegally entering the United States.
“The Texas Department of Public Safety is in full force along the border around the Del Rio area,” Governor Greg Abbott said in a tweet that featured a picture showing scores of law enforcement vehicles that had descended on the area. “They have built a barricade with their squad cars and State Troopers. 3. France Accuses Biden Admin, Australia Of ‘Lying,’ ‘Duplicity’ In What Is Now A ‘Serious Crisis’ - The Daily Wire
The French government is showing no signs of letting go of what they have described as being stabbed in the back by the Biden administration and the Australian government over a deal involving which country would provide Australia’s Navy with new submarines.
Speaking to France 2 television, Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian gave no indication Paris was prepared to let the crisis die down, using distinctly undiplomatic language towards Australia, the United States and Britain which is also part of the three-way security pact.
“There has been lying, duplicity, a major breach of trust and contempt,” Le Drian said. “This will not do.”
Le Drian said that France’s decision to withdraw their ambassadors to the U.S. and Australia was a “very symbolic” act that they hope shows they are “unhappy” about what has happened and that there is a “serious crisis between us.” (Read more)

4. ‘Justice for J6’ Rally In D.C. Concludes Peacefully Amid Ramped Up Capitol Police Presence - The Daily Wire
The ‘Justice for J6’ rally in Washington, D.C., concluded peacefully on Saturday after the Capitol Police ramped up security in anticipation of the event.
The rally reportedly drew only an estimated 100 to 200 people, who gathered near the Capitol to protest the imprisonment of people arrested for their involvement in the Capitol riot. Organizers had expected around 700 demonstrators, which is still far fewer than the number of supporters of former President Donald Trump who stormed the Capitol in January. (Read more)

5. Biden administration announces federal support for patients, abortion providers in Texas -The Hill
The Department of Health and Human Service (HHS) announced on Friday several actions it plans to take to protect patients and abortion providers in Texas following a recently enacted abortion law in the state.
Earlier this month, the Supreme Court declined to block a Texas abortion law, which allows abortions to be banned once a "fetal heartbeat" has been detected, which often happens before a woman knows she is pregnant. Private citizens can sue those who they believe aided or performed the medical procedure, garnering $10,000 for each successful suit.
Since the Supreme Court ruling, the Biden administration has vowed to fight the measure.
Among the initiatives announced by HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra is additional funding for Every Body Texas, a nonprofit that distributes money to sexual and reproductive health care clinics throughout Texas.
Up to $10 million would also be given in grants to clinics that have seen a higher number of clients following the recently enacted Texas law in addition to other clinics across the country. (Read more)

6. Biden administration to expel Haitian migrants via removal flights: DHS - Washington Examiner
The Biden administration will expel some of the thousands of Haitian migrants who have been crossing the U.S. border illegally in Del Rio, Texas, placing them on planes heading back to Haiti, the Department of Homeland Security announced Saturday.
The DHS is "implementing a new, comprehensive strategy" to address the 12,000 people who have crossed the border this past week, roughly half of whom are believed to be Haitians, the department said. The six-pronged approach includes surging 400 Customs and Border Protection agents and officers to Del Rio, coordinating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the U.S. Coast Guard to relocate migrants to other processing centers, increasing the capacity of removal flights, working with nearby countries to repatriate their citizens and lawful residents, increasing humanitarian aid to prevent crowding, and coordinating with officials to ensure returnees receive support.
"The Biden Administration has reiterated that our borders are not open, and people should not make the dangerous journey. Individuals and families are subject to border restrictions, including expulsion," DHS said in its Saturday announcement. "Irregular migration poses a significant threat to the health and welfare of border communities and to the lives of migrants themselves, and should not be attempted." (Read more)

7. Ocasio-Cortez submits amendment to block arms sale to Israel - The Times of Israel
Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has submitted an amendment to the annual United States defense spending bill to block the sale of precision-guided munitions to Israel.
According to a statement released on Thursday by her office, the resolution would prevent the transfer of $735 million worth of Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) tail kits to Israel. The kits turn unguided bombs into GPS guided missiles.
Ocasio-Cortez also submitted amendments to prevent weapons sales to Saudi Arabia and Colombia over alleged human rights abuses. (Read more)

8. Nearly 30 more Americans evacuated from Afghanistan - The Hill
Nearly 30 more Americans were evacuated from Afghanistan via a charter flight, the State Department announced Saturday.
State Department spokesperson Ned Price said in a statement on Saturday that a Qatar Airways charter flight departed Kabul on Friday with 28 U.S. citizens and seven lawful permanent residents.
The announcement comes as the U.S. seeks to evacuate approximately 100 remaining American citizens who stayed in Afghanistan following the U.S.’s full withdrawal of troops on Aug. 31.
Zalmay Khalilzad, the U.S. envoy for Afghanistan reconciliation, said on Twitter Friday that more Americans were able to leave on a Qatar Airways flight, but didn’t say how many were on the plane.
The administration hasn’t specified how many U.S. citizens are still looking to leave Afghanistan, but officials have said it is around 100. (Read more)

9. COVID-Infected Migrant-Camp Mom Delivers Baby at Texas Border Hospital - breitbart.com
DEL RIO, Texas — A pregnant migrant woman being detained in the migrant camp in Del Rio, Texas, had to be rushed to the hospital to deliver a baby. The mother later tested positive for the coronavirus.
The Val Verde Regional Medical Center (VVRMC) in Del Rio is treating a steady stream of migrants picked up by ambulance from the outdoor camp constructed near the Del Rio International Bridge. A young expectant mother was one of several migrants transported to the hospital on Saturday. The mother gave birth at the hospital and later tested positive for COVID-19 while being treated.
Breitbart Texas spoke to Valverde County Sheriff Joe Frank Martinez who says the mother tested positive but is unaware of any health issues with the newborn. Sheriff Martinez says the worry over health issues and communicable diseases from the camp’s residents is a matter of great concern.
“It’s not only COVID-19 but also active tuberculosis, HIV, and the potential for other diseases that may be encountered at the camp that worries me,” Sheriff Martinez says. (Read more)

Joe Biden is withholding life-saving COVID 19 medications from states that voted Republican. Press secretary Jen Psaki says it’s an effort to make things more equitable. She said, “Over the last month, given the rising cases due to the Delta variant and the lower vaccination rates in some of these states like Florida, like Texas, just seven states are making up 70 percent of the orders. Our supply is not unlimited and we believe it should be equitable [to] states across the country. I think our role as the government overseeing the entire country is to be equitable in how we distribute. We’re not going to give a greater percentage to Florida over Oklahoma.” Yes, you read that right. Equity takes precedence over need.
If you live in a swing state that traditionally votes Republican, such as Florida, Texas, Mississippi, Georgia, Louisiana and others, Biden is cutting the amount of life-saving monoclonal antibody treatments to those states by over 50%–All in the name of “equity.” It doesn’t matter if the people in those states need the treatment more than other states. It also appears that the Biden Administration believes that people who voted for Republicans and those who live in states of lower vaccination rates also deserve death. This appears to be a political strategy of the Left to punish the unvaccinated, conservatives and Christians—votes they will never receive, and people they can do without. Volcano erupts on Spain's La Palma island, spewing lava
and forcing thousands to evacuate

Lava continued to flow slowly from a volcano that erupted in Spain's Canary Islands off northwest Africa, but the head of the regional government said Monday that he expected no injuries to people in the area after some 5,000 were evacuated. Lava was flowing on the island of La Palma toward the sea, moving at 2,300 feet per hour, according to the Canary Islands Volcanology Institute.
The lava was moving in two streams through a mostly unpopulated area, Canary Islands government chief Ángel Víctor Torres told SER radio. Some 20 isolated houses were destroyed, SER reported.
"We're not expecting any other eruption," Torres said, adding that air traffic in the area was not affected.
"There will be considerable material damage," he said. "We hope there won't be any personal injuries."
The eruption opened two fissures about 650 feet apart. Officials said the lava streams would likely merge before reaching the sea. Read More

Did you spend time yesterday with the Lord on His Holy Convocation, the Day of Atonement? After confessing your sins, did you take the next step-----sincere repentance----- ? Did you experience the joy and freedom? And during this powerful process, what Wisdom did you receive? Did the opportunity to interecede, to pray for others, arise in your spirit as you confessed any sins?
Repentance and intercessory prayers go together perfectly. As we confess our sins, our "vessels" are that much more clean, more open to the Holy Spirit and His blessings and direction, including praying for others.
I like the King James version of James 5:16:
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
